okay so yeah i figured out im nonbinary a little while ago. (always had suspicions, but it finally clicked) and thats been fucking amazing. i feel this huge relief and self love and thats super cool. And ur blog has been a huge help. it teached me so much about lgbtq+ history and culture.

as much as she likes boobs, sevika would avoid touching yours like the plague if it makes you uncomfortable.

the last thing she ever wants to do is make you feel dysphoric or shitty. so, if that means never touching your boobs again, then so be it.

she'd do so much research on top surgery, binding, and dysphoria in general. almost as much research as you. it's so cute, she'll come to you with a sparkle in her eye and flaunt her new vocabulary, showing off that she knows the difference between binding and wrapping your chest.

she'd also go to the ends of the earth to get you a proper binder. if it means she's gotta spend a hundred dollars on international shipping, or even travel to another country, sevika'd do it for you. especially for the smile you give her the first time you see your shirts fall flat over your chest. she swears she falls in love with you all over again in that moment.

she also wouldn't mess around with unhealthy binding practices. you find it annoying how perceptive she is, always insiting you take your binder off when she notices your breathing's shallower than usual or that you've been wearing it all day.

09Soap/Ghost Omegaverse AlphaSoap, OmegaGhost

Ghost just want to die he puked his insites out for the last 2 days and now had a very annoying fever. Dr Bloomberg explained to him that this is a mix off the new drug and the reaction of his body brutaly been forced out of heat. She also told him that he will stay here for at least a week, while he puked nearly all over her shoes he stoped feeling bad about it. He is so hungry, but with the fact that he just stoped punking nearly 3 hours ago they stay with intravenous infution to keep him alive, they told him he can eat something when hes not puking for a minium of 24 hours and then it will only be soup. The only think he to lift his mood is Price visiting him. He clearly will put a stop to Dr. Bloombergs ridiculous ideas of him getting a mate. He also hopes shes wrong about him going in heat on a regular basis, this cant happen. He will just not exept this. One heat, its a coincidence maybe stress realted he will not begin to have a cycel again. He dont need a mate, and still everytime hes thinking about this topic a sea brise and the smell of jew is hauting his nose. Honestly a improvement to the constant smell of puke that is stucked in his nose. He also so fucking tired and from time to time a headache is causing him to get nausish again. The only reason hes not throwing up again are the medication they gave him against it.

When Price finally visites Ghost, the fever is getting worse. Price looks at him with concern and a hint of pity. "Price", Ghost says whinnie he just wants to sleep the fever making his hole body feel like a oven everymuscleis hurting. "You look like shit", Price says having to fight down his Alpha instincts because Ghost is very a sick Omega at the moment and dont need or want to be babied. "Thanks I worked really hard on it", Ghost jokes rasing Price mood a bit with his shitty comment. "Dr. Bloomberg told me that your reaction to the get a mate idea being a big no. If they have to put you in a coma all the time you can't work anymore." Ghost makes a displeased face at this, it's not like he ignores his health, he just dont need a mate. "I made a list off Alphas that will help you through your heats, if they are now coming back regular. I'm so sorry Simon." hearing the truthfulness in Price voice makes this just so much worse. "Who?", Ghost presses throw his teath, half hiding his face in the pillow. "Roach, Ozone, Soap and me", Price answers and hearing about Soap making him feel a little bit better. And if he wasn't so sick this would have ticked of a alarm in his head. Still he's making a pleased pure that Price picks up on. "Dr. Bloomberg is getting a expert on how trauma is effecting heats on the base, please don't kill her." Ghost wants to answer a yes Sir, but instead he puke on Price boots. "Get better soon Simon", he just says while his Alpha instincts scream at him to take care of the sick Omega.

The expert Professor Kim Hastings, is a small Omega woman, with the most annoying personality Ghost ever meet. She's the cliche of a bubbly, happy Omega, most Alpha claim to want but could not handel. Dr. Bloomberg looks like this is even to much for her. "Professor please remember what I told you about the Lieutenant", Dr. Bloomberg says clearly picking up the annoyance of Ghost after the Professor introduced herself and her research. "Of course I'm sorry. I just get very excited to talk about my research, like al scientist", Hastings answers in a lot more toned down voice. "So, I was told a lot of 'that's classified' about your past. I was told you survived several months as a prisoner and didn't had a heat till the end of last week. This is no heat in 7 years, that's the longest time I heard of. Usally my patients come to see me after 2-3 years. Many get very unsettled with out going in heat so long, I gues Omegas that dont have problem with not having a heat also would not reach out to me." Ghost just blinks at her unimpressed he really would prefer that it wasn't necessary for her to be here. "I was also told by Dr. Bloomberg that you would prefer to not get heats again." Ghost just nods, carefully listing for judgement in her voice finding non. "It's possible that this is just a stress heat, but this depends a bit on how you felt at the beginning of the heat." "What to you mean?", Ghost ask starting to bite his lower lip. "My patients often say their heat get triggered by a person that makes them feel extremely save. Often a potential mate or their mate. But they are also not in the military so this could not be the case here. You are honestly my first Omega solider, so i dont have any data to pull from. So please tell me a bit about what the last mission in very vague terms." Ghost feels like something is try to force itself in to his consciousness, scratching, howling, tearing at the walls he built around himself as a form of protection. "Captain MacTavish and I where on a 3 month surveillance mission in Asia." "Is the Captain a Alpha?" "Yes." Ghost heart is starting to race. "You know eachother for a long time?" "5 years." Dr. Bloomberg nervously looking at how Ghost heart rate is rising, smelling how Ghost scent is filling the room. Prof. Hastings just nods to herself writing down something on her notepad. "You would say he's a good Alpha?" "I guess yes?" Ghost answers unsure not having to think about this in a long time, the Professor clearly used to Omegas not able to give a clear answer to this. He don't like this, this is reaching uncomfortable territory his Omega instincts are rising like a phoenix out of the ashes after being not part of his live for 7 years, while is heart is trying to leave his rip cage. "When did you notice first indicators of a heat aproaching?" "On the flight back to base." "Is it possible you didn't notice it before because you where focused on the mission?" "It's possible." Ghost swallos, his scent is getting more prominent with every question. "What did you feel and I dont mean heat symptoms." Reality is bulldozing over Ghost. The word SAVE flashing in bright lights and gigantic letters in his brain. He felt save, because he was with Soap. He sees Soap as a potential mate. "Save", he says in a oddly empty way.

To Professor Hastings credit she didn't showed her exitment over this. She's learned the hard way that not all her patients like this part of the trauma healing journey, most of them got their trauma from a piece of shit Alpha in the first place. "If it makes thinks a little bit better, your next heat is atleast 6 months away, so a lot of time to figure everything out." Ghost don't think this makes anything better, he don't want to figure thinks out, he wants thinks to stay the same. Rage is filling Ghost up, about the situation, the feeling of absolute lost of control over his live, his stupid body and his stupid instincts for choosing bloody MacTavish as a potential mate. Dr. Bloomberg wants to say something but the Professor stops her clearly knowing that Ghost needs to come to terms on his own. The two women are leaving the room.

"You can call me when their are complications with his recovery, also don't push him. It will just damagethe process, from now one everything is going to happen in his speed", the Professor explains with a serious look on her face. "This man is so bloody stubborn, I honestly would prefer this was just a stress heat", Dr Bloomberg sighs, knowing that Ghost will end up in medical the second his next heat is coming. "Can I meet Captain MacTavish?", Hastings asks so she can give a prognosis on parts of the recovery. "No. If you weren't the only expert in the UK you wouldn't even have seen the Lieutenant." "But my research", the Omega protests not willingto get pushedaroundby a Alpha. "Professor you just talked with the most dangerous solider on this base nothing of this will go in your research. People kill to get the tiniest information on him. Your notes will stay on this base, otherwise your in a lot of shit with the government and the taskforce", Dr Bloomberg states in a final tone that there will be no exceptions. "Are you threatening me Doctor?", the Omega ask getting a bad feeling about the situation. "No, but the higher ups only agreed to let you see the Lieutenant because they want him back in the field, they don't care about your research. But your patients care about you and need you, it's not worth it Professor Hastings. Just give me your notes." The Omega swallow at how with out any emotional the Alpha said it. It is not a threat of the doctor, its just the facts of the situation. "What if I need to come back?" "You can look at them then. To refresh you memory." "What if I have a thought about the situation if I'm not allowed to have any notes of base?" The Alpha looks at her with a stern expression. "You don't have these." " So I should just pretend I was never here?" "Yes." Professor Hastings mouth drops open, to what exactly did she agree here? "What is the Lieutenant like a James Bond or something like this?" Bloomberg laughts at this before saying: "It's close enough. But I think even James Bond would look under his bed to makes sure the Lieutenant is not under it." Hastings is laughing nervously hopeing this is just some strange military joke. "When I told you this Omega is the most dangerous solider on base I meant it", the Doctor says to make clear she was not joking. Which shacking hands the Professor give up her notes.

Ghost wants to crawl up the walls of this room over 2 weeks he's in medical now and he just wants to go. He has to much time to think, about Soap being a potential mate, about how much it hurts that Soap didn't visited him ones since Dr Bloomberg gave the green light and he don't randomly throws up any more. Archer and Ozone were good sports about it, telling him that they understand the joke are so bad you want to puke. They also talked about the plan for his heat so that all three of them agree to the same thing. Roach and Price also ask about what to do if Ghost goes into heat again, the only one missing is Soap. Theoretical one of the other could just tell him, its just logistics really, but it fucking hurts. Everyone in the taskforce came to visit just not the person he wants to see. He trys to rationalise it, Soap is a Captain so he has lot of thinks to do and it just simply dosent fit in his full schedule. A very unhelpful part of his brain reminds him that before the incident, Soap would sometimes do paperwork while visiting him in medical, so it can't be his schedule. The next thing is that Soap had to be on a mission, just because he's in a coma for 4 days and then 2 weeks sick because they gave him some new shit don't mean that Soap is not needed in the field. But Roach would ask him everytime if Soap had shown up, becoming angrier and angrier with every no. The only logical conclusion is Soap don't want to see him and this hurts. Does Soap sees him as less now because he's an Omega? Fuck, he needs to get out of here. Unknown to Ghost Roach is screaming at Soap right now about exactly why he can't just go visit Ghost for 15 minutes. "Just go and visit him, Soap. You can continue to throw your pity party after you where there", Roach screams not carrying if anybody overhears, he lost his patience seeing how it clearly hurts his best friend that Soap is not visiting. The problem screaming at Soap just activates his stubbornness. "Why, it's my fault he ended up there in the first place." "Soap just stop being a fucking wanker for 5 minutes and actully listen to what I'm telling you for 5 days now." "Fine", Soap presses throw his theet. "Ghost wants to see you. He's not blaming you, so for the love of the bloody Queen just go and viste him." Soap bits his lip the now familiar feeling of guilt replacing his stomach growing bigger. "Okey 15 minutes", he finally agrees, because he has the feeling that Roach reached the point he would drag him to Ghost hospital room if he has to. "That's all I'm asking for. And now let's go so you can't chicken out of it." Soap stands up and is taking the file he's working in with him. Ever since Price told him that Ghost is allowed visitors he's found a sudden interested in keeping the recruit files up to date.

Ghost looks up from his book and sees how Roach is pushing Soap in the room before closeing the door again. He raises his evebrow in a silent question while Saop sits down on the chair next to his bed. His insticts are telling him to pure because Soap is finally here. Not caring that's not by choice. "Eh, Roach was very convincing that i should finally show up here", Soap states a bit emberrased. Ghost just keeps his eyebrow up. Time starts to streach itselfe while they look at eachother in uncomfortable silence. Ghost us looking at Soap, Soap seem to found a very interesting spot on the floor. Soaps heart is ponding, he feels like he will throw up, not knowing what to say, where to start. His instincts roaring to finally being able to scent the Omega. "Im, sorry", Soap finally says. "For what exactly?", Ghost ask unsure, picking the skin at his finger nails. "It's my fault you're in this situation isn't it?" Ghost looks at him confused, stops the movement of his fingers for a short moment. "What do you mean?", Ghost ask for further clarification. "Your heat, I mean I must have triggerd it, it was just us for 3 months.", Soap explains his train of thought, starting to bounce his legs because of his own nerves. "Soap, from what i understand the expert said, this was actully my fault, if anyone has to be at fault." Soap looks up from the floor to finally meet Ghost eyes. "What?" "Its something with me healing from Roba, that's what triggert the heat", Ghost explains vaguely not wanting to go in to more detail. "Thats good right?", Soap ask unsure, feeling relieved but also that Ghost is hiding something from him. "Im not sure yet, but.." ,Ghost stops mid sentence clearly debating with himself if he should continue. "But?", Soap encourages, needing to know. "But Im glad it happend around you, because I know you would never do something like Roba to me anyone", Ghost finishes the sentence. Claim the thought is burning itself in Soaps brain, his instincts want to claim Ghost, make him his mate, making sure the Omega is feeling save. "Did you not viste because you thought i would blame you?", Ghost ask dreading the answer. Soap dont answers verbaly but the face hes making is telling Ghost everythink he needs to know.

and even if you do have your own understanding and interpretations which you gleaned successfully you should still participate in further discussion and consume other interpretations in order to improve your understanding because there WILL be crap you missed there always is you're only human. also it's fun! it's fun to go "well i think this. let's see what THEY think" that's fun

AITA for dating my friend's brother?

Before I say anything else, I will clarify that we are not dating *yet*. However, the situation is complicated, so I'd like to ask the public for their opinions before continuing.

I (23 M) am a university student. During my classes, I have met someone who we will be calling C (M 19). We have become quick friends, due to our shared interest and participation in the local bloodsport tournament, as well as his insitance in tutoring me in my weaker subjects. It is too the point that we will be running for class president together in a few months.

An important note is, due to my extraordinary intelligence and (as some have put it) "very annoying" personality, I do not have many friends. There are some club mates that I spend some time with, plus a few teachers I enjoy, but beyond them it is mostly just C.

Anyway, recently I have been doing some research into other geniuses in my field (robotics, if you must know) and have come across a certain individual by the name of I (M 27). Now, I has a reputation around the aforementioned tournament I participate in, namely for certain actions he did in the past. These include, but are not limited to; working for an evil corporation, robotically modifying unwilling participants, and being a general nuisance. I will note, all of these things took place long before I joined the tournament and met C. Speaking of which, yes, C is I's brother, as well as a victim of some of the crimes mentioned above.

I knew about some of this before reaching out to I, but decided the knowledge I could gain from his expertise could be worth it. So, after talking one on one for a while, we met up. And then it happened again. And again. And with each subsequent meet up, the conversations we have grow less intellectual and more (for lack of a better word) personal. And, despite myself, I've developed a tiny, insignificant, easy ignored, not at all distracting crush on I.

I have not told C anything. He does not even know I have been talking to his brother. And, while he tells me that he has come to terms with what was done and no longer hates him like he once did, that does not mean he likes him. And neither does anyone else, as a matter of fact. I is so locally hated, its wonder as to how he still shows his face some days. Still, he does, and maybe the hate is all one big joke? I don't know, I don't know how to read these sorts of situations.

Either way, I want to come clean to C. I am terrible at keeping secrets, so it is only a matter of time. That, and I want to ask I about the nature of our relationship and clear things up. But I'm scared of losing one of the few people that can stand me.

Form development- clay seminar

From watching this seminar I learned many useful things about how to work with clay. Clay is a time based activity and hardens the longer it’s being used. As it drys your can score it, cut it, stack it, carve it etc. Adding water to clay will cause it to melt which will turn the clay from solid back into liquid again. You can then reuse the clay. The clay only becomes ceramic once it has been fired.

Colour can inhance the form of the clay. The form can be abstract and can be developed in many different ways. 3D printing has been introduced to ceramic students and can be used to develop printed interesting clay forms. It can also print plastic prototypes or models they will later use to develop or as moulds to cast the clay in.

Forms come about by the development of your ideas, researching them and your engagement with it. Claire Curneen’s work studio can be seen in this seminar which helped us gather a insite into how she gathers information and develops her ideas. I recognise her work from a gallery visit to The Hunt Museum where I took these pictures :

The use of gold in her piece called Daphne which was made in 2015 was very eye catching to me.

RESEARCH: Look into Hud screens and design - like old arcade games Street Fighter - could the idea of this be a level or add on in the game? You choose a character to fight a bug????? Discuss and contrast to street fighter and the tools and strengths moves and captions or noises.

I am considering having one level similar to this, like in the maze like levels with certain characters where that character if they get attacked or touched by an enemy like in Mario it takes them to a Hud screen like battle, or you have a Hud screen separate explaining the abilities weaknesses and moves of the character you chose and what tools (weapons) would they need, to contrast it to street fighter, where all the information is laid out at the top of the screen during battles or other games like paper Mario sticker star where all the information of the character even during the battles are located in a book where he holds all of his tools and weapons.

Here are more examples of hud screens to give me an idea on where to put them and what to show off for the character.

(The reason why I need extra help with this to understand them, is when I did play a few games I never really played that much attention to what a Hud screen was or the concept and use behind them, all i focused on is the game itself, so this will give me an InSite on how they are used and placed upon the screen.)

I usually don't look, but i took a gander, and Occamshipper is shitting on you and Jared on his/her tumblr again haha. S/he is talking about how out of date and you are, especially with Q scores, and reasons why jared isn't really popular again. Looking at track records and intelligence and analytical skills, my money is on you and your insites over her today his tomorrows views on the industry. One of you actually tries to give a balanced view and also places value based on more than one factor. I guess wanting to see misha and jensen or their characters touch weiners is a second value. Just like his opinions, that is going to not happen as well. I don't know weather I love the fandom for all the drama and entertainment or hate it for the complete lack of comprehensive ability and entitlement so many of the fans have. It almost seems like all the green and blue hair dye has permanently damaged parts of their brain.

It was happened one day, in a late afternoon a little accident stirred up a butterfly effect.

Jagged had had the day off and was playing with Fang, his pet crocodile he teased him a bit too much and in response the croc decided to jump on him. Neither expect the force in which the crash occurred but jaggeds arms were bruised and was unable to continue trying to make music.

So he decided to post an apology to his fans by posting a song that didn’t fit in with any of his new albums. No one had any idea that this song had been inspired by his personal designer and the struggles she faced.

The song was called “Grateful” (by Neffex).

He had been inspired by the way Marinette was always demanded of things with no one ever helping her and how she seemed to always smile through everything. This included her teacher who deemed her the star student who’s job was basically the same as a teachers, friends who demanded clothing and banners and what not for free, and getting things pushed on her with no warning like babysitting.

He had remembered asking her if she had wanted him to outright dismiss the ladyblog and Lila but she had said no and replied that if she did that that it was possible for an alumna to come for one of the two girls or even cause a mass akumaization. She said she would figure something out but that everything will be fine because she will find a way to love what she is doing and she will never give up and will continue to believe in herself and those she can still call friends. She won’t let them break her, she’ll keep her head held high and not look back because she has nothing to be ashamed of.

Jagged knows that she is strong but that doesn’t mean she’s invincible. He sees her push herself to be the best and beyond that he sees that she tiring herself out. He sees that things are different from the past that she’s lonely because the Lila girl took mostly everyone away with the honey coated words. But her way of coping or her medicine with it was to be busy and with that she was always doing something like baking, designing/ making new clothes, babysitting and more.

Jagged wanted her to see that not everyone can be saved and that she shouldn’t hurt herself to please others. That sometime all the good that you do out of the kindness of your heart is all for not because some people buy into the fools gold and leave the actual treasure to be forgotten. That now she knows who she can call her friends because through everything they believe her and have sided with her and have let her into their hearts.

He wants her to show the world what she can do. He knows that she can take the world by storm because she is akind girl who has exordinary talent in the artistic world be it for clothes to food to even traps and that she deserves real friends who want her in their lives just because and not for what she can do for them. Her hard work should not be used to give them fame if they don’t want to put any effort in. Instead they would rather take the easy way out with nothing to back them up. For example Alya did this she wanted fame yet didn’t put in any of the hard work for what made her famous. Aka no research to prove for any of lilas stories that she keeps posting on her blog.

It was later that same week when he went and got interviewed by Nadia. He told them that he was inspired by his main designer and that she had changed his life in many way and that he considered her family. He started to brag about them and their deeds looking so much like a father or uncle who is talking about family. It was then they questioned jagged by using comments from the q&a section. It was then seen that multiple accounts were spamming what about lilas song and recounting why she should have a song. Jagged then goes to discredit both the ladyblog and Lila by saying he has a pet croc who was the one that bruised his arms and that whoever this Lila is she is a lier and gives her the nickname lie- la.

Soon before the show was over Nadia asked one question “Is your designer who I think it is? She’s the one that made your special glasses and the cover for one of your albums.” He replies “Yup, it my honorary niece Marinette Dupain-Cheng. She a rocking girl whose too kind for this world.”

Later that same day the ladyblog lost its reputation and Lila was official seen as a lier by all of Paris. She was soon expelled from school due to her missed days and the bulling she insited.

I'm trying to figure out my Primary. I'm definitely an idealist, but my problem is this: I can't figure out if i'm a Lion Primary with a pretty strong Bird Primary model or a Bird Primary with a strong Lion Primary model. Could you help me with that? How should i approach this?

Bird or Lion primary

Bird and Lion can look very similar to each other, esp when you identity with the reasoning, philosphing and control over your mind like a bird, but also with the cause, ideals and instincts like a lion. That's how it felt to me at least.

I have totally seen myself in bird primary and it has only been a crisis situation I came through in my 20s that sealed the deal for me for lion primary. I'm a very logical detached person. I pride myself in being in control of my mind, of setting my mindset, on being able to concentrate on whatever I decide. I love my critical thinking, I love talking about why people think or do or believe what they do. We can do it over breakfast and lunch and dinner and reconstruct each side of the conflict and I won't get tired of it.

But when I logically decided the best for me would be studying law, because it's a stable career, I would have a good paid job, I like articulation and arguments and with my best grades and thinking abilities I could ace the studies - it didn't work. Because I hated the content. Because I didn't get fascinated, I didn't care about the cause, it was all memorizing and playing with words and after 2 years I was miserable from my incredibly logical sensible college choice.

So I left, found a faculty I never even heard of, small and cozy, most people don't understand what I'm studying, not to mention what I'm going to do with it. But I love every second of it. It's all critical thinking, discussions, reading of texts and then bringing your own opinions and interpretations in, it's writing and research and analysis and I love it with all my soul. I ace the exams. Now I work as a tutor for younger students and can see myself doing a PhD and staying in research and doing my own classes and it's a dream I didn't know I could have.

My mind told me law was a good choice. My gut was protesting it after the first month. This is not it. This is not for me. No passion, no fire, no cause, nothing. I set my mind to do it anyway, cause all the reasons. It didn't work. I have heard this tale from bird primaries with how much they ended up liking their logical choice, how they came to enjoy the benefits they figured and planned to have from it.

I can still set my mind on smaller things. I can support my gut instincts by doing the research and backing it up with arguments. But I can't go against my gut without being unhappy and miserable and feeling like I'm betraying myself and living a lie. In controversial topics, my lion roars in protest and I want to fight everybody. My bird primary model is screaming in the background to shut up and do the sensible thing of being quite and not burning down my bridges. In minor things, I can do it. In major things, I suffer doing it. In major major things, I can't control myself at all.

So I would start with that. How do you react in crisis? When you have a problem, when your logical mind and gut are in conflict, what do you choose and why? Can you adapt to what your mind decides?

Can you live with yourself, if you go against your insitics? Against what your "heart" is telling you?Cause a lion primary sure can't, even if their bird model is super strong and dominant in dialy life.

Humans are Space Orcs, “I Have Seen.”

Wrote something easy and more similar to my original stories today. I hope you like it. 

I have been thinking about taking a couple days off from writing these stories, since I have been working non stop on this and the book for over a year now, so I am considering taking a break for about a week so I don’t burn out. I haven’t decided yet, so we shall see, but I hope you all have a great day.

I have a job no one knows about.

I don’t think anyone would be surprised if they heard about my job. I don’t even think they would care all that much.

None of this explains why my work station is in the basement of a nondescript government bunker on a death planet…. A!36. I can’t explain why I need three codes to get into my office, or why I go through five locked doors, or why I am not allowed to tell anyone what I do on pain of termination and imprisonment. 

You would assume, perhaps that I am a spy, and involved in some covert cloak and dagger espionage against other species and nations: you would be wrong.

You might assume I am a weapons developer, but you would also be wrong.

Perhaps you think I spend my time wire-tapping on important calls between species and recording important information.

None of this is really the case.

In fact, what I do is quite safe and relatively simple, plenty of other non-humans are doing it of their own accord and plenty more humans do it on a regular basis. What I do is not illegal, it is not espionage, it wouldn’t even phase you.

If that is the case.

Why do so many of my coworkers go missing?

Why are there absent desks every few months?

Why can I not make any lasting friends?

Management always give excuses to those of us who are left.

They left for mental health reasons.

THey moved on to a different job.

They are moving up in the company.

They had to be let go.

All things generic and all things that wouldn’t generally raise suspicion… unless they happen so frequently as us.

You may be wondering at this point, what it is I do for a job.

Perhaps, you think, it is very boring and unfulfilling that I would go insane from sheer boredom.

No, I actually find my job quite interesting.

Perhaps you think my job forces me to watch very disturbing and violent things…. And I suppose that could be close to the truth, though no one forces us to watch the videos if we don’t want, and no one makes us read the material if we cannot handle it. In fact, there are those of us who specialize in that sort of thing.

I do.

I am a specialist in historical xenopsychology.

I study human history.

When I say that I study human history, I do not mean as in a passing fancy. I do not simply read their school children’s textbooks and accept everything I see as truth, no, every day , I come into work and it is my job, to learn about everything that has ever happened in human history, to the best of my ability.

It is my job to know the good, the bad, the ugly, and the monstrous.

I work from day to night, cataloguing and filling my brain with all the information I can before recording it as a lecture on aura drives, which are then stored away for future use in a deep backup system under the surface of this planet.

I have followed human history since the beginning of time.

And I have marveled at it.

Much of my research is flawed, I know. Human history has always been biased, history being shaped and molded by the winners of conflict. Much of what else I know stems primarily from scholarly work humans have done on their own species, looking back the centuries and making assumptions about what they were doing.

While this is a good insite -- humans trying to explain the behavior of other humans-- it isn’t necessarily correct.

For this reason, it is my job to study every piece of information that comes across my desk.

Due to a government agreement between the galactic assembly and the United Nations of Earth, I was given access to the rebuilt library of Alexandria and all of its electronic files which include photos and information on the original documents that they keep in sealed vaults below the library.

I have read every account of human history, and every second hand interpretation of human history that I could possibly find in my time working here.

I have read Darwin and his early theory regarding evolution. I have examined his evidence, which include images and diagrams of the human body spanning centuries. My determinations were made just the same as the rest of them. Humanity was a tree-living species that found its evolutionary niche through walking and the use of opposable thumbs.

This ability to walk, in tandem with the use of hands eventually gave rise to the slow swelling of the brain in comparison to other animals. Human evolved primitive tools, and even more primitive religions, societies and rules.

They developed art early on, painting on the walls of their caves, in the darkness of night surrounded by their fires.

I have read about their befriending of animals in that same darkness. Man’s slow molding of the wolf into the dog - a species designed specifically for the needs of man.

I have attempted to read every account of every atrocity ever inflicted on humanity.

I have read of wars, and battles, Marathon, Thermopylae, Kadesh, D-day, Vietnam, Korea, Russo-Japanese, World wars I, II, III,  and IV and the Panasian War. 

I have witnessed in images and first hand accounts the chilling discoveries of natural disasters gone back thousands of years. Pompeii, Mt. St Helens, Katrina, Tsunamis, earthquakes, the fire of london, 1887 yellow river flood, the 3130 California earthquake, and Haiti earthquakes. 

And I have studied and witnessed every atrocity man has ever committed on its own people. The Mongol hordes, the crusades, Mayan and Aztec sacrifices, The Armenian genocide, the Holocaust, mustard gas, 9/11, slavery in the America, the Trail of Tears, The Bataan Death March, the Berlin wall, Civil war, the French revolution, Nanjing, Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

I tore a hole in humanity and looked inside to see your rot. 

I study the maggots that crawl under your skin.

Don’t confuse me with someone who fears you, or is even disgusted by you. You have committed thousands of horrors, yes this is true. But humanity is not a polished gem, it is an uncut stone marred by dirt and debris, but beautiful in a way that can hardly be explained.

You scrub away the rot only to find more underneath, yet you continue to scrub, in a futile attempt to better yourselves.

It is a beautiful thing if not in vain.

I do not judge you for your crimes because I have also seen your achievements. I watched you survive  the dark ages, I learned your philosophy from the greek world which brought the beauty of democracy and equity in later forms. I watched the enlightenment of the Renaissance, and have seen your beautiful artwork from each period of time. 

I have witnessed your great nations and empires rise and fall, Assyria, Byzantine, Rome, Britain, Egypt, Mongole, Aztek, Soviet Union, The chinese Dynasties and the Communist parties. The United States, and the Asian Co-Prosperity Collective

I have seen your bravery and your loss.

I have learned about the good that walks your earth.

Humans who stood up to tyrants.

I have even examined your stories of creation, of deities who molded humans from clay or dust, watched your world come into form in seven days, or ride on the backs of giant animals. I have seen the gods gift you with fire and learned the teaching of your martyrs over the centuries. Men and women slain and stoned or pulled away by spirits. I have learned of crucifixion, death and rebirth as well as reincarnation and a return to the very fabric of the universe itself.

I see everything.

I see everything. I see it all in my dreams laid out before me like a tapestry following each woven thread through the ages. I thought if I looked back, I could know as much as I possibly could. If I dug deep enough, I would be able to see your secrets.

And I have discovered you.

I see you hiding in there.

I know what you are.

Come out, come out.

And I won’t stop until it is all over and your cities crumbled into dust and bone.

Unsinkable 8 Valentines Day

They get together for Galentine's Day, Feb 13th. Once again Fatin and Dot's condo the place to be. It's just so mucb easier and less stressful than getting a group their size a proper reservation on such a busy weekend. They agreed to exchange little valentines amongst the group.

Martha makes everyone handmade valentines and a batch of cookies.

Nora writes everyone a little poem, complete with an accompanying doodle.

Toni gets eveyone a bag of Takis with a note that says "you're flamin' hot!" (She's very proud about this and the girls laughs and cheers make her feel even higher.)

Dot buys a box of valentines like the ones kids bring to school, she even springs for the ones with a tattoo or sticker. "Nostalgia am I right?"

Leah curates a mini playlist for each of the girls. 5-8 songs each. She sends them the apple music link which annoys Rachel cause she uses spotify. (Leah ends up making the playist for her on spotify after some teasing)

Fatin buys eveyone their favorite candy bar in king size, which she knows from from countless conversations they had about favorite foods on the island, along with a diet coke.

Shelby knits everyone hats. It's a simple pattern since she's new to the craft. Picking it up as a way to keep her hands busy during the dark times. She personalizes them by color scheme.

Rachel gives each girl a personalized yoga routine. Since they were rescued, Rachel got really into yoga and meditation as a way to stay active but also keep her mind at ease. She tailors each routine based on what methods of meditation work best for them. It actually took months of research, not only to familiarize herself with the specific practices, but to subtly learn each girl's coping mechanisms. "That's why you insited we go to class with you!" She just hopes it helps at least one of them relieve some stress.

Martha leaves the party first around midnight, needing to finish up a few last minute details on her gift for her boyfriend.

Rachel and Nora leave a while later, both still single, and working on themselves and their relationship with eachother. Theres still a lot of healing to be done all around.

Shelby and Toni dip out next so they can spend their first Valentine's day as a couple together. When they get home they can't wait any longer and exchange gifts.

Shelby stopped wearing her cross necklace after the island, loosing her faith has been a struggle. She's slowly working on reconciling, but she doesn't feel comfortable wearing it for the time being. Knowing this, Toni gets her a necklace with a little mountain charm. "To remember how brave you are, and to never forget your strength."

Shelby cries for a long time, feeling so incredibly loved gives her so much joy she's  bursting at the seams. Toni holds her close the whole time, never letting her feel alone.

She gives Toni a scrapbook encasing all their favorite memories together. Pictures from their first official date, trips to the beach, visiting with the girls, and all the little moments in between. Milestones and inner thoughts scrawled in neat script caption the photos. Toni slowly looks through every page, fingers tracing over images of Shelby's face, hearts drawn in the margins, the words I love you. The emotions overflow and its Toni's turn to be held while crying.

Back at the condo, Fatin, who decided to get Dot a personal gift because she's her absolute best friend and roommate who she's 100% sure would not be able to survive without, much to her chagrin, gifts Dot a stealth tactical jacket she saw in one of those sky mall esque magazines. It looks like your typical black leather jacket, but secretly has over 40 hidden pockets for the ultimate storage capacity. Dot is so excited she quite litterally kisses Fatin right on the mouth and picks her up, spinning and shaking her around.

Dot feels bad she doesn't have a gift to give Fatin, not realizing friends sometimes give eachother Valentine's because platonic love deserves to be celebrated too! Fatin really is her first best friend. Despite Fatin's insistence on not needing anything in return, Dot promises to make it up to her and to also give the remaining girls their privacy. She skips off to her bedroom, jacket on pretending to be a secret agent.

Leah and Fatin who have been dating since their moment on New Years Eve giggle at their friends child like action. "I know in gonna regret that the moment she refuses to carry any of my stuff when we're out, but it sure does feel good to see her so happy."

Leah agrees, totally admiring how close they are. She gives Fatin her gift, a custom made pink and purple marbled cello bow. "It's probably not super practical since, after researching, like nice bows are hella expensive, but I thought it was a cute idea." It was just a cheap one she found online, she's not even sure if it's usable, but she knows Fatin misses playing (even if it was something forced on her by her parents, her love for cello and music is still very much there) She's shy, still doubting herself in tender moments like this. Fatin reassures her It's the sweetest gift she's ever gotten.

Fatin, in turn pulls out a beautiful, handcrafted leather bound notebook complete with monogram and a super fancy pen that glides so well, it's almost erotic. "I know journaling is hit or miss with you, but I know you're capable of so many beautiful words and emotions, I hope this inspires you to keep in touch with those feelings." (She doesn't know the first thing Leah writes in it is a 5 page essay about how much she loves Fatin.)

dude so I've been trying to be more mindful of signs and omens and such, well I saw a magpie the other day and I personally NEVER see magpies. I was really excited since I always see crows and kole said he sees magpies all the time, which is weird we live in the same place and do almost everything together.

so then my intuition was like "it's something look it up" and so I looked it up obviously and I read a few things until I saw something that resonated as you should yknow

magpies: re evaluate your priorities and the path your on. focus less on material things which is like okay yea good advice I'll do some research or spell work when I get home, and my path I plan on veiling soon yknow.

and then today I saw a wasp on the way to Julia's and it reminded me of the wasps on my back porch. for context on my back porch is the room I keep my weed in, so I have to walk across the porch several times a day everyday, well a few day ago there were just WASPS they were flying in and out of the roof and were right in my way to the porch like 5 or 6so I look up the wasp meaning

wasp: insists you make a plan, thinking < doing, put in work, application, determination

which is crazy because recently I've been thinking about like really changing some things up and like further devoting to the path in on and shit and like idk I feel like I need to really buckle down and get that done.

but I think it's about veiling honestly. the wasps symbolize, dedication and taking action. magpies symbolize priorities, and your path.

veiling is an act of showing your devotion to your path. and I've thought and talked alot about it and have had opportunity to do it but haven't because I wasn't sure if it was the right time. and I think this is conformation it's the right time and I should.

WIP of teenager Penny (Maybe around 14-17)!! She had natural purple hair in different shades before dying the up and middle parts many shades of pink as a first sign of rebellion from people’s expectations as she still puts her hair in a neat mini box braids in a bun while still covering her right eye due to her childhood incident.

I still need to add her ears and maybe practice more of my braids (i’m so sorry if I screwed up, shading as Penny’s hair is very hard to figure out when color is which i gotta fix the hair and head. Her pose and outfit is inspired by Trainer Dawn’s (the top being purposefully cutted to show her asymmetrical) and young Cynthia’s poses by souji/shigino sohuzi which her pose is inspired from 

She’s wears lot of space theme outfits and some motifs with clocks and moons as her name means “moon goddess” opposite of Phoibos,( she once wore a sun and moon themed kimono during a festival with Phoibos and it was one of the few times he genuinely smiled, like it was small but there), even then she began to wear more goth clothing (fake goth as a middle finger to the folks who put a lot of pressure on her, not her mums) and loves shades of pink and purple with her black and gold clothing since it doesn’t clash with her hair to show her side of professionalism. 

She was still painfully insecurities and socially awkward, preferring to spend time in the library or hidden away from her classmates in the darkest corners of the school or outside behind many shrubs and trees where unlike Phoibos, preferred the company of Pokemon as they’re easier to understand and don’t judge her for her eye or how she panics on what to say to strangers like how some students think she’s a witch due to her quiet shy personality and even some adults tell her that she’s an “assistant to Giratina”,(doesn’t help when she starts her goth phrase, people freaked out at her makeup,being her black mascara, eyeliner, lipstick and dark purple eyeshadow though she changed it to pink lipstick to match her hair and insisted that she liked giratina.

Even though she never hang out with people her age a she would go ou of her way to avoid conflict and fights, she would succumb to peer pressure which stems from her desperation of being liked and wanting to please everyone, being much of a pushover and doormat which got her to be taken advantage of thanks to her love/hate image of her eye since that’s all people saw her as that, a mistake, even with her buying contact lenses, makeup can’t always hide the scar she received, she’s that girl who got straight a’s, did the extra credit and does all the homework early even the one not due and a bit of a teacher’s pet but still is rather looked down upon by some due to her eye

Though when she looked Phoibos, whose’s eyes were pure white that one who assume he was blind. Not just that but also his eyebrows and hair combined with his eye bags on his lovely pale skin, Penny called his eyes were like moonstones glittering under the moon, Cheesy she knows but for the small smile and light blush on his face, it was worth it…

In her teens she was inspired by Jagged Stone and Chandra with plaid skirts, garter belts, shredded fishnet stockings, fingless gloves, chokers and t-shirts that are covered in graphic designs like supportive words in kanji, bands, pokeball designs and of course, space but mostly moon and stars designs as she nejoy watching the contsellations and planets with Phoibos in their min clubhouse and telescope she got for her birthday since Celestic town was slowly getting bigger think game and anime size with some small houses but also has the research lab where her grandmother is the region’s professor but also wears those furry turtleneck sweaters with a cool design.

Even as she got older it wasn’t that bad but She is an obsessive perfectionist workaholic and often studies, trains, and exercises to the point of collapse her pokemon often making sure she ate and slept combined with her crippling anxiétés with most being over her lament of her lost friendship with Phoibos who has strayed to a dark path of destruction, being forced to fight him even as he insited she joined him in his “perfect” world before deciding to end her “misery” with a “mercy kill” (though she has how his fists shaked and their was aslight quiver in his voice) and leaving him behind in the Distortion World to rot.

Giratina still lets her visit as she was fond of him/it and actually gushed for a few moments once properly meeting Giratina, she often sends supplies to Phoibos and wrote many letters but doesn’t know how to tell him when she actually does visit since she did punch and kick him plus his jealousy issues of her. Though they will talk about it leading to Phoibos having an emotional breakdown and sobbing his eyes out as Penny wraps him in a hug, so he’s terrified of harming her and others, is very touched starved and strives to be better, he still cries over the scars he or other people gave her    Despite her obsessive tendencies, Penny is utterly dedicated to the her region and has a very strong sense of justice, loyalty and is still very well loved as she has the warmth and kindness a good leader should even though she is socially awkward and internally panics at the sight she’s slipping up. Though she is a huge multitasker even though she will slowly crack to pressure though it will take a while for them to show until she breaks down in private, but her pokemon comfort her

She’s misses those times… times of them talking endlessly for hours infodumping on each other, in a meadow of sunflowers and moonflowers when she gave him a friendship bracelet with a sun charm for his birthday while she made herself a matching bracelet with a moon charm, she misses them reading next to each other and one of them falling asleep on the other’s shoulder, her apologizing for talking too much and him watching her with fond eyes as he tells her it’s ok and let’s her finish talking about the latest chapter of Sinnoh history or when he creates a machine, she didn’t think she was considered to be liked, never thought about, if it ruined their friendship…and now it’s too late
