I feel like Ink would like inarizushi… I don’t? know why? maybe because I associate him w/ foxes??? what do you think.

Mmh, now that you mention foxes and tofu foods, that reminds me of an AU I made with @lix88888. A Yokai AU, to be more precise. In that AU, Ink eating fried tofu was like a big thing, and yes it has lore relevance to the AU. I forget if Paperjam and Gradient were ever talked about in this AU, so I'm not gonna mention them. I do know, however, that Ink, Error, and the Twins were talked about.

In this AU, Ink is- if you couldn't already guess it- a Kitsune. With his gorgeous, fluffy nine tails, he's the protector of a small village. He guards the villagers from other Yokai and dangerous outsiders... for a small fee. As payment for his protection, the villagers must offer him fried tofu and meals using fried tofu. Foxes became practically sacred in the village due to Ink's connection to them, and harming one was a guaranteed way to earn Ink's wrath (unless, of course, it was an honest accident).

Error is a Nekomata and, for a while, is Ink's arch-nemesis when it comes to the village. He's an avid practitioner of Necromancy and would steal bodies from the local cemetery for his little army of the dead. Where Ink craves fried tofu, Error's very fond of fish (as to be expected from this cat man). Although the two do eventually come to some terms of agreement, Error still doesn't really care about the villagers lmao.

The Twins are both... uh... what're they called... Shinigami? The spirits of death, like that one dude from Death Note. I honestly don't remember much about these two in the AU, but I do know that they occasionally got involved with Ink and Error. Part of me really wants to say that they got unofficially adopted by them, but regardless.

But back to the topic at hand: I, for one, am fond of the idea of Ink being a consumer of inarizushi. I think he'd also be really fond of sushi! (I have never eaten sushi in my life)

This is a list of some of my AU with some i forget to make content for. It's just shity summarys of it.

The Dead End: creepypasta/SCP/FNAF AU.

Foregoten God(name subject to change for a better one): Soul Eater/Mairimashita Iruma-kun/Monsterverse AU with some character from Sonic, Eddsworld, FNAF, Teletubbies, and probably Fire Force.

Cosmique Game (not official name yet): Homestuck/Fortuna AU.

Ghost Fun(not official name yet): Yokai-watch/lapin crétins invasion/Grizzy & the lemmings AU.

Pokémon Lost Story(not official name yet): a simple Pokémon AU with 3 regions base arond religion, time, and space, and an island who will be the central point of the story.

Amusing Zoo(not official name yet): an AU base arond Cartoon mostly creepypasta version as well as Cartoon Cat, Bendy and the ink machine(the first game only), Poppy Playtime, Hello Puppet and a zoo (the center of the story). I'm thinking of adding Garden of Banban and Welcome Home too.

Slendytubbies the secret(not official name yet): slendytubbies AU centred arond my OC.

The Dead See All(name subject to change for a better one): Lego AU that include many Lego universe. Ship JestroXClay. MK X Red Son.

Deltadrone: Murder Drone/Deltarune AU it's just the Deltarune story but with the cast as drone.

FireForcetale: Undertale/FireForce AU it's just the Undertale story but in the FireForce universe.

Sonic boom.exe(name subject to change for a better one): what the name sujest but since the story feel less like a .exe and more of an adventure/everyday life with horror and mystery éléments, i need to change is name. Ship SonicXShadow, SilverXBlaze.

Espace Nova(name subject to change for a better one): Keroro AU mostly focuse on Kururu and Giroro as well as some OCs. Ship KururuXGiroro.

One world two side(not official name yet): AU about one world split in two, one side have How to train your dragon/mon chevalier et moi/Myghty magisword and the other side have SouthPark/Wander over yonder, they have some OK KO Let's be hero éléments and character.

Old and new World(not official name yet): sumary, AU base around SM64 skit but something happen so every survivor migrate to a new world and the old one is taking peaple from other world to not die.

Mechanical undead(not official name yet): Murder Drone/SMG4 AU with some creepypasta characters, mostly the one's from games and TVs and website.

(no name yet): Dude that get sacrifice by is parent for a god who they dont know is already dead so dude become a vengeful spirit possesing a statue and kill peaple, after a while dude enconter immortal little girl with posseded plush and after a while form a brother/sister relationship. Lot of supernatural things.

Book of Sueñmei (name in progress): collection of storys about multiple peaple mostly some isekai one, only 3 have fixed story, the water lord who is a dude that got isekai as a monster seaslug and way way later become know as a guardian of the ocean. Then we have a mouse that get isekai into a prince with the power to become a monster mouse but only the royal mage know about it. And there is a monster sloth living in some sort of reserve that wish to fly. The other are still in développement.

(No name yet): originaly was just a Mairimashita Iruma-kun AU centered about my OCs but i decide to make it is own thing. Shity summarys, 2 demon found a spaceship with animals from all over the univers and when opening one of the cage a human girl began shouting at them with a gun, shenanigan happen and they live together in an abandoned mansion wich have a portal to the human world in the basement. They also encouter space police, ghost, divinity's and monster that definitely should stay as fairytales. It's mostly a not serious story but with serious moment.

Keep in mind my work is a fan work of their amazing au! Please go read it! All characters belong to them except for Aya and Grandpa Flint who are fan characters

Cw: stalking yet again- and themes of violence/fighting and choking

It was trial and error, over the course of the next few days they tested the stalker. First with all of them, the person wouldn't come out unless they split up, the game plan was to always meet up every 5 minutes, but they were smart about it after the first meet up that day, keeping an eye on Mikey and then fleeing before they could spot them.

The next day, they tried Mikey and raph..they didn't come that day, for a split second Mikey could have sworn he saw them in behind a group of three Yokai boys carrying logs to the village but he didn't see or feel the eyes their entire trip.

Leo recruited Yuichi that day as well, he busted down the door shouting for him, apologizing to his aunt before hunting down Yuichi himself.

"...a stalker? In our village" Yuichi didn't seem to pleased about this information.

"yeah and they are after Mikey, so far they won't come near if we are around him, we've tried together and with Raph." Leo crosses his arms, pacing back and forth.

Yuichi grabbed Leo's shoulder, Leo feeling a bit of warmth in his chest at the action. "Count me in"

The following day they tried to test Leo and Mikey, to start Mikey said he felt they were near, but his looking around scared them off..they didn't catch them that day either..but they did pay a visit to Flint, not telling him about what was happening. Mainly due to Flint not being able to help as much.

The following day Donnie went to the village to pick up more paper and a new vial of ink, leaving Mikey so he could catch a break. Mikey had been staying with either Leo or Raph the past few nights out of fear they would run up into the house.

Donnie didn't feel like dealing with it today either but as soon as he got past the first house he felt it, the feeling that Mikey described. He glanced around, he didn't see anyone out of the ordinary. So he fixed the glasses on his head before heading on.

When he got there he had to resist the urge, get the ink he has been using or spend a few extra to get some of the best ink he has ever laid eyes on...what the others didn't know wouldn't hurt them.

He shelled out the rest before taking what he needed. He was too proud of himself for indulging in something so simple yet so important that he didn't notice the ambush until it was too late.

A dog Yokai held up a blade to him. "Give us the rest of your money! And don't try and trick us out!"

Before Donnie could react besides a sputter, someone grabbed his arm and shoved him back, wedging themselves between him. A goat Yokai.

Donnie instantly picked up on the feeling of being watched disappearing as soon as she got in front of him.

Her back was turned but the fur on her back and the back of her neck darkened as it stood on end, standing between the two of them she was small, smaller than Mikey but with the stance of someone who believed they were 10 feet tall.

"you should go" she only glanced at him, he felt unease at her eyes but other than that he listened. He took a few steps back before heading the other direction, hearing the sound of scuffling and a fight behind him. He didn't look back.

When he got to the house, his brothers and yuichi were all gathered in the kitchen, snacking on an apple. Mikey looked exhausted but his eyes lit up seeing Donnie. That is until he saw his face. Now Donnie wasn't the best at hiding his more serious emotions so he could he only guess he wasn't hiding it well.

The others picked up on it as well. "Don-" Leo starts before Donnie sets his papers and ink vial down.

"they aren't going to hurt you Michael" he crosses his arms, his mouth drawn back in a thin line.

"how do you know!" Leo snaps, standing up. "This dude-"

"girl"

"gir-...women can be abusive too-" Leo puts his hands on his hips, always quick to a comeback.

"I didn't say they weren't nardo...but I got a plan. I think I know why she is following him and I think I know how to prove it" he looks at Yuichi and Leo "can you two get into disguises?"

The following day they left to the village on a mission, leaving Raph to stress in his orchard, as they needed someone to watch the house if it gets too far.

Leo and yuichi dressed in face coverings and bagging close that hid their features, looking bigger than they actually were.

Donnie would watch from on top of Grandpa flint's roof, he could see the whole village from it. And he got free tea so it was a win-win for him.

And Mikey was the bait, walking slowly through town, a few of the villagers wave at him and he waved back before fiddling with his shirt. Donnie said the stalker- wouldn't hurt him...but it didn't make him any less wanting to hide in his shell from all the danger.

He mustered up the courage before speaking "oh what a LOVELY day. Sure hope no bandits come and- and steal- from me-" halfway through his sentence his felt the eyes on him again. This time out of the corner of his eye he could see her, she had a black eye and red stained to her hands and bandages she had wrapped around her hands and up her arms. He wondered for a split second wither she was actually hurt underneath or that the red came from someone else.

He didn't have time to question as Leo jumped out behind him. "Come here little boy! For I! A bad guy- aaaAAA-" he screamed as immediately the goat yokai went for him. All he saw was the blur of light grey fur and the fury of a thousand soldiers in the little blur. He took off running as Mikey started running away.

Yuichi rounded the corner scaring Mikey who screamed and all but got the attention of the goat yokai. Who turned and went after Yuichi.

Now Leo and yuichi usually can hold their own but something about a tiny ball of anger with the kick of damn near a horse hurt yuichi's shin. It felt like someone threw a rock and it hit his bone so hard he thought it might have broke. It didn't but it sure felt like it.

Yuichi toppled over and Leo rejoined the fight, Mikey taking off to the woods as Donnie started climbing down the roof to join him.

The goat yokai followed Mikey, Leo looked between her and yuichi on the ground. "I-..I'll be right back yuichi!"

Yuichi, through the tears, still holding his leg shouted back "get her! Don't let her get Mikey!"

And that sure did fuel the other brother, running to his brothers aid he was able to catch up with the yokai. She was fast but she wasn't fast in the woods like he was. He noticed as soon as she started to trip over the roots. Leo grabbed the back of her neck scruff, tugging her back to him.

She kicked his leg making him let her go before she swung a hefty right hook, missing as Leo moved his head to the sides grabbing her wrist he flipped her over him hearing a nasty crack as something of hers hit a root.

But she didn't seem all that bothered, she seemed hellbent on his demise as her eyes were filled with rage and hunger.

He didn't think he would know what the urge to fight would look like in someone's eyes before. But it sure seemed fitting to use that word...hunger.

Like if she didn't fight with all her might she would be starving, but she didn't let down. She grabbed his leg and sat up, pulling him down as she did. She turned around and got ontop of him, grabbing his neck. She showed all her blunt teeth with a scowl of pure rage.

"you will NOT- HURT HIM!" Her voice was filled with hate, he couldn't understand why she had it. What could make her hate him so much that she-...right he was kinda dressed like a bandit-.

Her grip tightened which made it hard to breathe, he reached up to grab her arms, which caused her to breathe in sharply and let go, allowing Leo to throw her off him.

She let out an angered shutter before noticing Mikey was no longer there. Only then did she turn and flee back to the village.

Leo sat up, rubbing his throat as bruises started to form. He turned to look at Donnie who looked at him. "My theory was correct."

"care to let us in...on...on this theory?" He looked up at him as Donnie crouches beside him, running his fingers over his throat gently. "...she's protecting."

"no shit dontron...she's a stalker-" he winces as he spoke.

"no...she's protecting...like Raph...and dad.." Donnie spoke softly, making Leo pause and look up at him. The two share a look before Yuichi runs up.

"did you get her!?" He pants, out of breathe from running.

Leo shakes his head. "No...but let's make a game plan...we are going to catch her. One way or another"

ROTTMNT x Splatoon AU

Okay so since I’m not planning on doing much with this au, I’m gonna share my notes on it and hope people like the ideas lol

Ideas

- in this universe, the turtles were created as one of Tartar’s unethical expiraments. He kidnapped an octoling who made his way into the deep sea metro, and used his dna and primordial ooze to mutate baby turtles he found. The ooze in this universe has Yokai subjects in it as well as the other life found, making it the ultimate life sludge.

- The octoling, Hamato Yoshi, was one of the neutral octarians who fell into the underground on accident. When he was used for this expirament, he was able to escape in the middle of it - and took the turtles with him. He found a way to the surface, but died from his injuries.

- This is where it gets fuzzy, but the the turtles have their specific names from Tartar who named his subjects after humans, and they end up separated somehow.

- Donnie and Raph end up in Octo Canyon, living among Octarians. Donnie became fascinated with their technology, and became very proficient in it. Both of them end up in the Octarian military for a time, with Donnie even being in the Wasabi unit for a time but end up leaving after learning they have brothers somewhere and what exactly the octarians are planning to do.

- Leo and Mikey were raised in Splatsville on the other hand, and got caught up in the turf war craze. They were raised by the owner of a dojo (Splinter) who they are somewhat close with

- Mikey is a well known graffiti artist, while Leo makes a living off of participating in turf wars and anarchy matches.

- The brothers eventually reunite, at about ages 10( Mikey), 12(Donnie and Leo), and 14(Raph).

- April in this universe was an octoling who escaped with Donnie and Raph, and is living with them right now. She’s like family to them, and is very into turf wars and especially anarchy matches.

Yokai

- they aren’t all dead in this universe, but most who lived with humans are.

- There are ones who live among the surface now, since what’s considered normal is WAY BIGGER than before, but there are still mammalian Yokai who live underground since all normal mammals went extinct

Turtles

- They are part inkfish instead of part human, but since we have the psychic crystals in Splatoon canon those are part of why they look so human.

- Them coming from the primordial ooze kind of messes them up once they find out, since. It was made from ground up people.

- Because they are part inkfish, they can swim in ink and have their own turtle swim form.

- They have access to specials through their ninpo - after they find out it’s a different force than what normal inkfish use they can be a bit more creative with it and change specials easier but they all have their preferences

- Leo uses Splatana and Tri Stringers (reference to previous Leo’s who use bow and arrows). His favourite is a Splatana Wiper. ((Donnie’s custom version of it is closer to an actual blade which can launch large slashes of ink.)) he also likes shooters, and is the insane player who plays a tristringer aggressively.

- Donnie made his own custom weapon, as he makes those in this universe and is friends/rivals with Sheldon, which is a combination of a brella and a charger. He prefers Chargers and Brushes in matches though, since he can’t use his custom weapon.

- Mikey uses Sloshers more, but also likes shooters. His main weapon is the tri slosher. He is fine with almost anything actually.

- Raph’s favourite weapon is mostly his fists, but in matches he uses Splatlings (since he can carry them easier) and shooters (short range high damage like his normal weapons).

- also as a visual thing, when they change ink colours their body marks also change colour! (So Leo’s stripes change colour, Same with Mikey’s spots, etc.)

Plot ideas

- Basically the fight that happened in Rottmnt with shredder is an ancient event in this story, and it was interrupted and never concluded leaving the world in somewhat of a lurch since shredder isn’t dead but he’s in a coma and buried under tons and tons of rock somewhere.

- So the Hamatos spirits reached out to a small clan of inkfish in the future to help them and create the lineage anew. This eventually leads to Yoshi and Splinter, who are brothers in this universe making Splinter their adoptive dad and biological uncle.

- So the turtles + April find out almost last minute, like in the show, and want to help fight this fight.

- And events eventually turn out very similar to finale with the shredder, with the major difference being that it’s in the ruins of Kamabo Co instead of in the hidden city.

- Not very deep plot. Until the New Squidbeak Splatoon get involved during the whole… Inkopolis battle city situation with the Yokai and then are allied with the turtles during the Kraang situation.

The Agents/ New Squidbeak Splatoon

- okay so the agents aren’t very relevant here, but I imagine they become antagonists/rivals and eventually allies to the Turtles after realizing they are on the same side.

Shinra (as Devil Chaos Zero) : I know, guys. Ever since the Time Eater destroyed us all, I couldn't save everyone, not including Inca that was by executed his own hand. I may have lost everything, but I will not give up! It's time that Shinra Kusakabe will enter the final stage and I shall be the hero once more! Real World AU, get ready...Because your hero as returned as Devil Chaos...now in adult form! I've waited this along time ago! Now it needs something what it needs to be done! Follow me if they wanted truth to win!

"Meanwhile..."

Seto : So, kid. You set up the entire school, you were working for Dracula's servant Death after all those years. So why did you do it?

Shotaro the Dokeshi : Tch! Like you wish. I had to do it, his stupid man-made son had to make me Shinigami as whole, I was never the great old one of order! The real Great Olds ones are the lovecraftian Horror, you're all just too jealous that I have been stealing title. Me, Mana, and Yohei, have staged the whole Soul Eater crap just make Atsushi Ohkubo too greedy that manga/anime fans weren't very interested that couldn't buy or sell his work with his money. You're just begging it for it.

Disc-Chan : Enough talk, young man! Why are you doing this to Witchkind to bring benefits to mankind. Dracula's Servant Death order to protect the Kusakabe Legacy. And then you were the under influence of Shinra Kusakabe. Isn't that right, Mr. God of Death!

Shotaro the Dokeshi : Okay, you win! I was the one who created a banned research that was only used for alchemy, the mabuki were actually a newly developed form of the Dry Bones that I used to created, the truth is that I'm actually a human form of Yokai called the Kyokotsu, Maka already knew that the iconic sythe-wielidng idiot called Soul Evans was made from the bones of the original Evans, the one they call him Inky Evans, who used to a sidekick to Inky Albarn to defend the dark forces of True Evil. However, on strange occurences he died during the raid of Toon world aka 1930s Real World. Please, I'm just kid that is the former hero of a forgotten story in the Ohkuboverse! All I can do use bones for alchemy and stuff, I didn't that I was responsible for creating the weapons and it's probably all of the author's fault! I have been a dirty liar the entire time!

Seto : Oh, you poor thing. I know why you feel upset, because the Shinigami that you used to, that was my title that you stole from me and others!

Shotaro the Dokeshi : Yes, that's right! I did and I...Wha-? No! I didn't steal your title, Ichigo did and I gave it back to you! Don't you get it right, Deathless!?

Seto : But Master Grim told us that the Great Old ones of the Ohkuboverse are...

Shotaro the Dokeshi : A bunch of three uman beings from a forgotten story made by the same author as Soul World and I'm no ruler of the Cosmos. My name is Shotaro of B.Ichi, the second hero of the Ohkuboverse. And I'm just a kid from Toykyo, the Ohkuboverse counterfeit of Tokyo, that was destroyed before fifty-percent of the Ohkuboverse was destroyed in half by the Time Eater.

Seto : Say what?

Solva : You're from Real World Tokyo and how did you brought the Mabukis and so-called Deathscythes to life, that means you're the Demon Weapons' true creator! It wasn't the witch's magic at all, It was alchemy! How did that happened!? How did use Bones to bring the Demon Weapons brought to life and the Death Scythes as well!?

Shotaro the Dokeshi : You wanna know why what really happened? It was about over a year ago, a year before the Space Colony Ark Incident.

"Ever since Ohkubo's first day as an author, I, Shotaro the Dokeshi, was the first protagonist to be as the Second hero of the Ohkuboverse before everything resulted in 50 percent of the Ohkuboverse being destroyed half. Everything was not so smooth about it and it was fine in Real World AU."

"Everything was perfect for me being the human version of a Kyokotsu aka Mr. Crazy Bones, the skeleton spirit of the bones. Ohkubo was such a weird guy that he brings the stories into weirdness. But for me, Witchkind made my life a living hell after Inca Kasugatani's execution was spreaded over throughout the universe."

"Humans, Witches, bring war, segregation, and hatred that would change Real World AU forever. Even worse for my life, It was Shinra's man-made son, Death, that branded himself as a thief to witchkind, and nearly made Ashley's go on the verge extinction for religious refugees and political power. But it's not the witches he wanted them to be extinction, it was the creatures of the everlasting darkness Heartless. That I had an idea of creating weapon that make Witchkind to cease to exist from Inca Kasugatani, this research for the Mabuki's creation was actually only for the methods of Alchemy. And it would be the ultimate taboo for those that committed a sin, but eventually, the Men of Shinra's Influence had to become stubborn and so does to the heartless that wanted to use these weapons for destruction and consumption. Weapons were not brought into defending humanity nor they have the rights to bring salvation humankind. They wanted nothing but doom and Gloom for all witches to be destroyed by the greedy eye of Shinra Kusakabe."

Shotaro the Dokeshi : And that was his only fault that Heartless have became their target to destroy the influence of Shinra Kusakabe.

Solva : So that's why the DWMA was created to bring religious refugees and political power, that's why the witches were being involved as enemies because of the Heartless were trying to take over the world.

Seto : It was not their magic that wrecked the clean, it was Darkness all over it and Maka or her so-called friends would've listened to Truth instead. Why did you go and cover up for Shinra Kusakabe.

Shotaro the Dokeshi : Just as before you know it, he took every bones that I had to use the ingredients for the demon weapons that I gave to life, I had a help with Yohei who goes by the name Eibon, and that spectral woman named Amaterasu, the spectral who used to be part of Shinra Kusakabe. After creating the demon weapons, we took a very, very, dark turn for us. Truth came and accuses us for committing ultimate taboo, realizing that the method to create the Demon Weapons that we used Alchemy for our kind. Messed up, and lead to the death of my friend Emine, who turns out to be a puppet to Demon Vibe after his creation, the Evangelist, was destroyed by Shinra Kusakabe.

Seto : Emine? That human version of a mythological creature? He's a puppet to Demon Vibe.

Disc-Chan : So that's why Soul Eater Existed in the real world. Law smirks, his demonic stare makes you shiver. Your tail answers to such interaction, it wiggles subtly and slowly. Your unholy side is taking over, and yet, you are sure not even your full potential could match the sinful fiendish demon Law holds.

“I’m waiting…” he demands, already annoyed because you are taking too long to tell him in which room he will fuck you. “If you don’t hurry, I will fuck you right here and everybody will see you scream from my cock”

Quick thought for the whole”AUs as Pokémon” thing!

Have you considered an Ink-Error duo with Ink being a Fairy/Paychic type and Error being a Dragon/Dark type? They’d both be immune to one of the other’s types, then (Dragon for Ink, Psychic for Error). Not a big thing, just a little thought I had :>

Oh! And if the Sakuratcha idea ends up being tea (I know you said it’ll probably be a cake or something but! Just in case!), you could make it part of a little trio and give Dream a hot chocolate inspired one and Blue a coffee inspired one!

Oh, I think I can make that work. I don't think I included it on that list of ideas/concepts I made, but I have a concept name of "Artisune" ("Artisan" + "Kitsune"). And the counterpart I was gonna make for Error, though I don't have a name for it yet, would be based on a Nekomata. As a small reference to my own little Yokai AU. I was originally gonna have Artisune be a Psychic/Ghost type, but I think Fairy/Psychic can also work pretty well. I don't know how I'll make the Dragon/Dark typing work for a Nekomata theme, but maybe I can switch the Nekomata for something else? There are dragon yokai, right? Or maybe I could save the Kitsune-Nekomata combo for something else, and these typings could be used for a new pair of AUmon. Choices, choices.

Ngl the typings give me Sylveon vs Hydreigon vibes. Or like, Gardevoir vs Hydreigon. I really like Mega Gardevoir, I wish they'd bring Mega Evolution back from the box of abandoned concepts.

Part of the problem I'm having with Sakuratcha is coming up with the colors/design in my head. I know that I need to incorporate both pink (for the cherry blossoms) and green (for the matcha) into it, but do I want there to be more pink than green? I don't hate green Pokemon (or, in this case, green shinies) but some of them, like Espeon's, don't have the... right shade of green, for me? Like Dragonite, Mewtwo, Teddiursa, and Salamence? Good shinies, I like these green Pokemon. But Espeon, Ursaring, Stantler, and Scizor? Not so much. I don't want my Inkmon to be a shade of green that I don't like. But matcha also typically isn't a lighter or mintier shade of green... at least, none that I've ever seen. I mean, I could just use existing cakes or something as reference, but you know what I mean.

Ahh, I can't say I have any writers that affected the way I write. I did start out on Quotev though, so there are a few more people on there with content I really enjoy reading. Actually, I don't read as often as I would like, but here is a list for both Quotev and Tumblr. Yes, I'll link the ones on Quotev since they won't be able to tell I linked them anyways. However, I won't link the ones here on Tumblr because I'm afraid of direct interactions. ✨ Oh, and all of these are yandere writers. Some of them write content not suitable for minors, so if I put a warning next to it, please listen to it.

On Quotev...

al (symbolism) -> Original content. I just started following them and reading one of their stories. I believe I have their other story in a "read later" collection. But so far I really like their writing style since it's smooth and actually funny (not the type of writing style that tries really hard to be funny and is just kinda cringe) and plus they have yanderes that are poc! Which is rare to see.

East-Miracle (PrismaticAscent) -> Original content. I used to read a lot of their stuff when I was still a beginner with writing. They are a writer that no longer updates, but I used to like some of their one shots and their main story. In fact, I think it was their one shots that pushed me to make longer one shots for my own readers too.

parallel-ink (Parallelink) -> Original content. One of the og yandere writers on quotev. They no longer write, at least to my knowledge, but they have a lot of stories I read before I began writing. I haven't read them in a while though.

On Tumblr...

koinotame -> Original content and Genshin Impact content, etc. Warning, they do write nsfw content and have expressed not wanting minors to interact with their blog so please respect their wishes! I think they're trying to focus on writing more for OCs, but from what I've seen I think their yandere content is fairly "soft" so there's not any gore or violence, at least that I've noticed.

twstedforyou -> Twisted Wonderland content. Basically a yokai au where the entire twst cast is a yokai connected to a master (aka the reader). And each of these yokai are essentially yanderes. Also has pretty pictures to look at.

yandere-romanticaa -> Genshin Impact content and Twisted Wonderland content, etc. They write for a lot of fandoms and were the first yandere blog I actually liked and followed on this site. So I have to include them here.

And of course it's easy to know whose letter is whose, even before reading the signed name at the bottom (because they do NOT want anyone stealing their hard work) Risotto's letter is in beautiful cursive, it's poetic with words that stab into your heart, Sorbet and Gelato share a card, it changes from a smooth font to looking like it was written with inked up claws (knowing Gelato he probably did use his nails), Melone's is somehow elegant with a devilish twist only he could pull (and his hand writing is beautiful), Illuso and Formaggio's both are pretty sloppy, they don't use as fancy words as them, they're the most physical even through text. Pesci's shyness bleeds through into his words, and the swirls and swoops in his letters are so cute, Ghiaccio's writing is small and uniform and he tends to ramble and get off track, but the overall message is uncharacteristically sweet.

..I'm not sure how Prosciutto's would turn out, he's always been a bit of an enigma for me. But his handwriting is very neat with incredible grammar. Ghiaccio wishes he was him

When the Moon meets the Morning, Chapter 6 - Not all Black and White

Summary:  Raphael is going on missions with Captain Jupiter as he always does when he meets an orange-wearing turtle yokai who feels oddly familiar.

Ratings/Warnings: General Audiences; some minor harrowing moments, but mostly fluff, emotional overload, emotional manipulation, self-deprecation

Notes: This is my longest chapter yet! This one has some minor emotional manipulation at the beginning of this chapter along with some harrowing moments later on. On the plus side, we get some cameos from previous TMNT incarnations that I’m happy about bringing to the table. Big thanks to @undercoverwizardninjaturtle and @fraymotiif for helping me workshop this. And a big thanks to @5weekdays who helped me with the Captain Jupiter dialogue in this chapter!

The trio gets up early the next morning, reaching the outskirts of Bedu in relative silence. The whole time Mikey keeps looking over to Raph as if he wants to say something. Raph knows by now to just wait until Mikey speaks – if the young boxshell has something to say, he's bound to say it eventually. Finally he opens his mouth. “How... did you do that...?” he asks.

Well, that wasn't exactly what Raph was expecting. “Do what?” he asks genuinely confused.

“I mean, how did you...” Mikey twirls his hands around each other as if trying to find the right words, “...make everything stop..? The noise? The... the feelings?” He looks to Raph in almost desperate wonder.

“Oh, that...” Raph runs his mask tails through his fingers as he thinks. “I'm... actually not so sure... I've always been good with protective wards and shields n' stuff. I guess... I just figured out a new way to use them...?” He ends his sentence in a rising questioning tone.

Mikey looks at him almost expectantly. As if there's more to what Raph has to say.

There is more. “And, uh,” Raph begins. “You're gonna probably think this is a little weird, but, um, I think I did it in a dream once...?”

Mikey's eyes widen, before softening. A warm smile spreads across his face. “That doesn't sound weird to me at all.”

“Oh really?” Raph stops tugging at his mask tails. “Um... I could maybe equip some of your gear, or even sheets of magic activation paper with some protective wards like that. Maybe they could help you out in your travels, even if I'm not around.”

Mikey's smile widens further and he bounces in his saddle. “Really!? You could do that?!”

“Of course! I'd have to grab some of the extra paper and ink from my room when we get back, but I could definitely do that for ya!”

“Well, it's good timing then, because we're just about there!” Red Fox chimes in.

The town of Bedu looked pretty much the same as when they had left. After all, it had barely been a couple weeks. The main difference now was that a thin layer of frost was covering the ground, signalling that winter was close at hand, even below the tall mountain peaks.

“I have to go sign in with the Mountain Guide Guild to notify them that I've returned, and I need Mikey to come with me,” Red Fox says. “Raph, could you drop our gear off at the base?”

“Sure! I'll take Infinity and Buddy to the stables, too,” Raph says.

“Alrighty then!” Mikey bounces off of Infinity's back and hands her reins over to Raph, then bounces over to Red Fox.

“When you're done, come meet us by the healing house. I want to check if our gecko friend has recovered. After that we can all get some brunch – my treat!”

“Red Fox, you are the best!” Mikey cheers.

Raph smiles as he watches the two of them head farther into town. It's good to see Mikey's usual energy returned. But then he frowns a bit, realizing that he'd probably have to say goodbye to the guy soon with their trek now over. His mind is stuck in that sad thought as he heads back to Captain Jupiter's base, sets up Buddy and Infinity in the stables with some food and treats, and unpacks their gear. He mulls over all the things he's learned about Mikey and how close the two of them had grown in such a short time. He's gonna miss him a whole lot.

Raph’s thoughts are interrupted by a booming voice.

"Great gorgons, my boy, where have you been all this time!?"

Raph's head snaps up to see Captain Jupiter in the door frame with his hands on his hips. Raph can't tell if it's his normal heroic pose or if he's angry for some reason. But either way Raph is cautious in his response. "I, uh, was on a mountain guiding mission with Red Fox."

"Well I needed you here! There's been a great monster attacking the town while you've been gone and we've had trouble tracking it down and stopping it! I could've used your natural instincts!”

“I'm sorry.” Raph shrinks a bit, now feeling really bad that he had been away. It had been selfish of him to leave like that when he was needed here. And at a time when the Captain wanted to use his skills for once! It was rare that Raph’s “instincts” were looked at positively.

“Where is Red Fox?" Captain Jupiter asks looking in various directions as if expecting his sidekick to appear at the mention of her name.

"She went to the healing house to check on one of the fire victims.” Raph tugs at his mask tails, his eyes darting around not sure where to look.

"Good to know she's back here, too. I'm going to patrol the edge of the town. You head to the healing hut to tell Red Fox of the situation. And if you see any large scaly monsters, you take it down!"

At the command, Raph immediately comes to attention and salutes. "Yessir, Captain Jupiter!"

“Remember what I always say? 'Act like a monster, become a monster.' Nobody likes a monster. That’s why we do what we do. You don’t want to be on the wrong side of justice, do you?” He gives Raph a pointed look.

Raph tells himself that the Captain is always saying these things to pump him up and get him ready for a challenge or to hunt a bounty. But he hates that it feels like these words are meant specifically for him, as a warning to what Raph could do and has done. Either way, Raph knows that he’s always going to fight for good in the end. So Raph nods with determination, and in affirmation of the Captain’s words.

“Good,” Captain Jupiter says with a toothy grin. “So if you see any beasts rampaging around, make sure your justice is swift!”

Raph sucks in a breath, but stands up straight, hardens his features, and repeats, “Yessir.”

“Good lad.” The Captain nods with a pleased grin, and rushes off.

Raph quickly makes his way down to the village square and over to the healing house, bursting through the door with a lot more speed and panic than intended when he gets there. Everyone inside gives him an inquisitive look and Raph tries to calm himself down and casually walks towards where he sees Red Fox and Mikey standing by a bed. In the bed is the gecko from before, now wide awake and bright eyed. Without the soot or bandages covering him, Raph can see that he’s a dull yellow color with dark speckles covering his features. He looks very relaxed next to the other two.

Mikey lights up at seeing the large snapping turtle enter the room. "Raph! You're just in time to meet my new friend!" Mikey gestures at the bed.

The gecko looks up with an easy smile. "Hey there," he says in a raspy voice. "The name's Mondo! You must be Raph?"

Raph smiles and gives a small wave at the yokai. "Yup that's me. You doing okay?"

Mondo nods and Red Fox explains, "He's mostly recovered from the fire, he just has a sore throat that may last for another week or so. The smoke did a number on his lungs. Right now we're just trying to figure out where his family is."

Mikey makes a small pained sound causing Raph to look at him. The younger turtle is rubbing his head as if it hurts.

"Hey, are you okay?" Raph asks, concern tingeing his tone.

Mikey lets out a small grunt and says, "There's a lot of negative emotions in the area."

"Like what?"

"Unease... Fear..." Mikey flinches as if something struck him. "Oof, a lot of fear actually, but this seems like..."

Raph doesn't get to hear what that seems like, because there's a sudden shriek from outside. Oh, right - the reason why Raph came here. He grabs the attention of the red panda yokai. "Red Fox, the Captain told me that there's been a monster attacking the town."

"That must be it. Let's go!"

The two rush outside and sure enough a large creature is running through the streets causing many people to flee from it. It looks to be a giant alligator of some sort with hard scales and giant jaws snapping every which way. Raph summons his red limb projections and charges the beast while Red Fox leaps in the air. She lands on the beast's head and transforms her tail so it is long enough to wrap around its snout, locking its snapping jaws shut. Raph rams his whole body into the alligator in an attempt to knock it down. But even with his magic enhanced limbs the monster stands its ground and pushes back.

There is a struggle; Raph puts more magic power into the red limbs and lets out a yell, growing a second pair of red glowing arms in addition to the two surrounding his actual arms. He tries to grapple the sides of the beast with the extra pair of magical limbs. However, the alligator seems to recognize the losing battle, so instead it rocks back a bit then sweeps out its large muscular tail. The lack of resistance from the gator combined with the tail flicking at Raph’s legs causes the snapper to lose balance and he falls over, landing on his snout.

As Raph lifts himself up with a pained grunt, he sees the gator whip its head around, causing Red Fox to be flung into the wall of the healing house. His eyes widen in worry and he shouts her name. But his attention is then caught by the form of Mikey stepping outside the door with a look of horror on his face as he comes upon the scene. Behind Mikey he can see Mondo. For a second Raph wonders what he is doing out of bed, but he has much bigger things to worry about at the moment.

The large monster seems to have noticed the two smaller yokai as well, and it charges in their direction. Mondo looks like he's trying to say something, but the only thing that comes out of his mouth is a squeak. Mikey just stares up at the monster charging at them with a strange expression on his face. Raph doesn't have the time to ponder whatever feelings the empath is picking up from the scene around him and launches himself at the beast. He grabs hold of the monster's tail and digs his heels into the ground bracing himself. The gator is stopped mere feet from the two younger reptile yokai and turns around angrily to look at Raph. It launches itself at him with giant jaws opened lined with sharp, jagged teeth.

Red Fox is down, Mikey and Mondo and other civilians are around, and it's up to Raph to stop him. The Captain said to take the monster down. Raph pushes down the fear fluttering in his chest, and the twisted feeling he gets at the Captain’s implication of what he must do. He ignores the similarities between an alligator snapping turtle and an actual alligator, and allows the Captain's words to echo in his mind. “Act like a monster, become a monster.” Well, this is one monster that Raph is not going to let hurt his friends. He summons from deep down as much of his power as he can muster. His sclera turns black and his iris and pupil form into that of a blood moon. He gathers as much of his energy as he can around his fist. If he can just get one good powerful punch in as the monster leaps at him, he can end this.

Raph lets out a yell as he's about to launch his attack, right as the alligator snarls and his leaping attack arcs downward, towards the turtle. Suddenly something wraps around the alligator’s jaws, causing them to snap shut and the alligator to unceremoniously fall to the ground in an ungraceful heap. The gator looks so shocked that it seems like for a moment its anger is dispelled. Raph, too, is so surprised that magic swirling around his arm dissipates.

"Wait!" A voice calls out to them. Raph and the gator follow the voice to see Mikey standing there holding onto a rope. The rope is attached to the gator’s mouth ending in what seems to be some sort of grappling hook, glowing with magical energy. Mikey walks over to the gator with raised hands and says calmly, "I'm not going to hurt you. Just hold on a sec."

The complete lack of fear or malice coming from Mikey must confuse the alligator since it makes no moves to attack him. "You're just scared, right? And sad...? Like you miss someone?" The gator looks at the turtle with mournful eyes. Mikey slowly moves his hands towards the gator. Raph is about to stop him when Mikey holds up at hand in his direction, making Raph clamp his mouth shut before he can say anything. Mikey gently pets the large reptile's snout before loosening the rope around its jaws and says, "I think maybe they miss you, too."

Mikey gestures at Mondo who is leaning against the healing house, tightly gripping the front of his shirt, staring at the scene with wide eyes. As soon as the gecko and the gator lock eyes, Mondo tearfully runs over to the large alligator and calls out, "Leatherhead!"

Mikey steps out of the way and positions himself next to Raph. Mondo throws himself onto the apparently named Leatherhead’s face resting his small head in between the larger yokai's eyes. Leatherhead closes his eyes and puts a gentle clawed hand over the gecko's back and pats him soothingly, letting out a rumbling trill.

Raph looks past the touching scene to see Red Fox pushing herself up and walking over to them. Raph rushes to her side. "Red Fox! Are you okay?"

Red Fox smirks and rubs her neck saying, "It'll take more than one raging beast flinging me into a wall to keep me down." She looks at the scene before them. "Though I guess he's not so much a raging beast anymore..."

Mikey giggles and explains, "I thought his aura and Mondo's seemed kind of similar, and you did say that Mondo was looking for his family. I thought maybe the big guy was looking for his family, too"

Mondo breaks his hug with Leatherhead, and speaks with him in hushed tones, likely due to the fact that his voice can't seem to go above a whisper at the moment. Even though Leatherhead seems to only respond in guttural growls and trills, Mondo doesn't seem to have any trouble communicating with him.

The two of them walk over to Raph, Red Fox, and Mikey. Mondo bows his head and rasps out, “I'm sorry for Leatherhead here. The big guy was just worried about me and didn't know where I was. Please don't be mad at him.” By the end of his short speech, Mondo's voice was losing power and the last part came out in a worried squeak.

A sense of injustice rings in Raph’s head. It is based on the constant lectures about right and wrong that the Captain taught him. And the fact that the Captain gave him a direct order to stop the monster that had been terrorizing the town. Raph looked in the eyes of said monster, and saw himself reflected back in its blank yellow eyes. Leatherhead is calm now and Mondo is just a kid. But Leatherhead attacked the town, apparently numerous times; scared a lot of people. Worried about his family or not, that was still a criminal act, and he acted like a monster. Captain Jupiter's words ring in his mind yet again. Despite the torment twisting in his gut, Captain Jupiter's justice should win out. Right?

Raph spoke sternly. "You could have caused a lot of people harm! And you broke the law! You need to learn--"

He stops when Mikey pats his arm and says, "I think they learned enough, Raph. This was just a misunderstanding and that's no one's fault. Yeah, and he might've done some not very good things, but Leatherhead here is not a bad guy! He was just looking for his family!" Mikey smiles happily at the two of them.

"But.. they..." Raph's resolve fades fast under the stare of Mikey's innocent eyes.

Red Fox steps next to Raph and puts a hand over his clenched fist. Raph looks over to her, and she looks wistfully at the pair. Something behind her eyes seems to tell Raph that maybe she's grappling with similar thoughts. Finally, she lets out a sigh and says, "Well, I did want to make sure you at least got to your family after all this, and it looks like that worked out. I think it might be best if you leave town quickly, though.”

Mondo grins and says, "No problem. We don't do too well with the cold. We were going to leave Bedu weeks back, but got separated in the fire. Sorry again for causing trouble.”

Leatherhead grumbles something and bows his head apologetically.

Mondo then hops up onto Leatherhead's back and the two quickly make their leave with Mikey waving happily after them.

Red Fox lets out a tired sigh and says, “I should check around to see if any real damage was done and to calm the townsfolk. You look like you could use a rest, Raph, why don't you hang back here?”

Raph nods. She is right, he is a bit tired, suddenly.

As Red Fox walks off, Raph backs up to the healing house, and slides down its wall to rest. He's looking down at his hands unsure of what to make of the situation. Should he have told Red Fox that the Captain wanted to stop the monster, maybe permanently? But it wasn't a monster, as it turned out. Yeah, it was just a misunderstanding... And looking around the square it seemed like he hadn't even damaged anything or hurt anyone. He was just scary... not evil. But what does that say for others with sharp teeth and claws... Claws that had, at one time... He scrunches his eyes shut, refusing to think about a pink scar on his friend’s face. He shakes his head to clear the images from his mind. As he opens his eyes, something orange enters his vision.

Raph looks up to see Mikey staring at him, almost looking as if he had been in as deep a thought as Raph had. "You did the right thing, you know, letting them go..." Mikey says, finally.

"I guess," says Raph. "Just one thing I don't get though... How did you know he wasn't a bad guy?"

"He seemed more scared than mean. Besides..." Mikey gives him a bright grin, one that looks like it trusts anything, especially what he says next: "Not everything is black and white like that."

Raph ponders this for a moment. For all of the things that Raph has learned about Mikey. All the confusing questions he still had. It's the meaning behind that statement, that Raph was sure he'd be confused about for a long time. It didn't ring true at all to what he'd been taught, and yet, the way Mikey had said it, it was as if it was the truest thing in the world.

Mikey sits next to Raph and pats him on the arm. “I guess today is another cool story that I'll get to tell – one with you and Red Fox again. You guys really are heroic!”

A smile tugs at the side of Raph's mouth and he rubs Mikey's head, “If anyone was the hero today, it was you, little man!”

Mikey laughs sheepishly. “Haha, aww, really?” he asks, but glows with the praise.

“Yeah, really.” Raph gives him a final head pat. “Better make sure to include that in your story.”
