OC-tober Day 15: Bravest OC

Blixer. Definitely Blixer. You have to be pretty brave to decide to break into the most heavily guarded City, get to the center without being killed, and corrupt the Tree of Purity. He pulled it off despite being drunk, having an injured shoulder, and only a single gun with 6 rounds.

I referenced this pose, there's no way I could do that perspective/foreshortening without a reference (I'm including the sketch with this one because I kinda like how it looked before I added his clothes better)

Still a day behind, I didn't have time to get caught up today. Maybe I will tomorrow (probably not)

Recently got back into Dany's world and i got an au idea.

basically, Dany's world, but big crossover tomf#ckery and the twisteds are failed clones of the toons ( except for Dandy and Glisten. Dandy's part-twisted and Glisten is damaged and need alot of support and aid. )

i was thinking about your dirk and hal poll and i want to mention that i think your concept for ink and iron where dirk creates hal from his reflection by enchanting a mirror is so cool 😌

thank you! hal's predicament and purpose within the canon narrative is so fascinating and i felt it was really important to find a way to explore what i find most interesting with him. i can't take full credit for the concept though i took inspiration from a few placees (one of my friends pitched the idea of the mirror accidentally dumping him onto jake's doorstop for example) but overall i think the idea is very fun and i'm really excited to write more hal stuff!!! also i'm going to take the opportunity to share this oldish doodle i found:

the mispelling of angel as angle was NOT intentional (<- dyslexia haver) but it probably explains a lot. he's pointy

UTMV FAE AU: Nightmare takes Dust away for his own. Blue is not pleased by this development. He won't lose his friend to the Fae, and no way in hell is he leaving him behind.

He made a promise, once. He makes a deal, now, and seeks to bring him home.

As he journeys through the Fae Realm, he gets the attention of Summer Ruler!Dream, Spring Ruler!Ink, Autumn Ruler!Error… all who seek to take him for their own gain. But Blue plans to bring his friend home.

Huh… what would Ink as a Pokémon even look like? I feel like he’d be small and fluffy… maybe carries around a stick (aka Broomie?).

See, here's where the difficult part is. Ink's character- as a Pokemon, in my vision- is essentially combining already existing Pokemon. Since I imagine he's like a Creator Deity, he obviously has Arceus as one of his inspirations, but he also has other Pokemon such as Mew and Necrozma. In terms of concept, at least. And even then it's only to a limited extent- he won't be able to fuse with Dream or Nightmare like how Necrozma can fuse with Solgaleo or Lunala, Ink's just the one who created light... and maybe his true form could look like more of a cross between Arceus and Ultra Necrozma than Arceus and Mew.

Anyway, I'm going with Mew as a base for what Ink looks like as this Pokemon. I wanna keep him small, befitting of his noble height of 3'8", but we also have to account for cuteness. Eevee's a very fluffy-looking Pokemon, right? He can be fluffy like Eevee and have large, round, expressive eyes. Where "Ultra/Origin Ink" would be representative of Ink's blank state, being very indifferent and detached, this smaller version of Ink is full of curiosity and- for lack of better description- can do something that the "full form" can't: experience existence.

And that's all subject to change.

Anyway, very expressive and large eyes. Maybe he has star shapes in them, similar to Ogerpon? Since I'm taking Arceus as an inspiration, I want Ink to have parts of his color palette change based on his typing. And rather than a stick, maybe he can have a cudgel like Ogerpon's. I really like comparing Ink to Ogerpon, I'm sorry. But I also like to imagine him with these small crystal-like specks on his body, which are like solid pieces of raw energy.

I like to imagine that Error makes his avatar enormous and monstrous, kinda like Eternatus, only to see Ink make his the complete opposite. Small and adorable. He's just like "... Really? That's the form you're going with?"

OC-tober/Inktober Day 3: Newest OC

I'm behind on OC-tober because I got sick, luckily I'm feeling better so I'll try to catch up tomorrow.

Anyways this is Samuel, a member of the Wall Guard who lost his right arm in the "incident" 5 years ago.

Sadly he was right handed, so he had to re-learn how to do everything with his left hand

...Yeah, he's based off of that plant that Blixer stomps on in the JSAB intro/opening credits
