Random Mini Astrology Observations: Vedic Edition
Warning: This is just a string of random thoughts lol, don't compare it to my best work on here. It's a bunch of stuff I've had in my drafts and I'm trying to clear it all out
Before I get into this, I just want to say, that whether my observations are positive or negative, it won't apply to every individual who has these placements. 8 billion people exist on this planet, and not everyone will exhibit the same good or bad qualities. I hate having to put this PSA because some people don't get it but yeah "not all Lunars/Venusians/Nodals/Solars/Jup/Sat are going to be the same".
Jupiter influenced men are known for being introverted cutie pies who kinda have that mature-dilf-y vibe.
Obviously, another category of Jupiter men are often loud, extroverted and very outgoing but I've noticed these placements heavilyyyy in celebrities "known" for being private and introverted. They are also often known for being generous and kind hearted.
Prabhas, Vishaka Stellium (Moon, Mercury and Venus)
He is known as "darling star" and brings food that he has prepared at home for everyone on set (he is an actor). He is known for being very shy and introverted but also super sweet, generous and kind.
Sidharth Malhotra, Vishaka Moon
Sid is known for being extremely lowkey which is RARE for a Bollywood actor. He's also quite gentlemanly and charitable
Ratan Tata, Vishaka Moon
He is an Indian billionaire entrepreneur who lives in a small 2bhk apartment and has donated most of his personal wealth to charity. He is known for having led his company in a very humane way (there are lots of controversies and im aware of them but compared to the work culture and quality of life that most other indian companies offer its employees, TATA is in a different league).
Keanu Reeves, Punarvasu Moon (and stellium)
i dont have to explain but Keanu is the king of kindness and generosity
Mads Mikkelsen, Vishaka Moon
unlike his characters, Mads is actually a sweet guy and very private
Adam Driver- Vishaka Sun
he's so private that nobody even knows he's married with a kid
Tom Hanks, Punarvasu Sun
known for being a gentleman and quite modest. the OG nice guy and obviously very private
Ethan Hawke, Vishaka Sun
another lowkey, private guy who is known for being nice
2. Rashmika Mandanna and Surbhi Jyoti, Swati Moon
I find their eye area to be kinda similar?? I know they don't look alike but there are some overarching similarities between them and I think its bc they have the same moon nak.
3. I came across a comment that Akshay Kumar made about Asin and her CEO husband Rahul Sharma.
“He is madly in love with his wife, his child. It’s like he treats her like a goddess.
and guess what?? Rahul is a Purvashadha Sun 🥺😌😌
4. Ashwini natives often have post-apocalyptic dreams
Since its the first nak and is ruled by Ketu and is in complete darkness, symbolically representing the stage before creation (which happens in Bharani), the subconscious mind is susceptible to having really strange, fcked up, war-like dreams/visions. Also bc Aries rashi is ruled by Mars, God of War.
5. every Venusian man I know kinda has a voice kink
6. Many Punarvasus crave for a simple, rustic, relaxed type of life. In fact many famous Punarvasus live on a farm
Kaley Cuoco- Punarvasu Moon
Bretman Rock - Punarvasu Sun
MS Dhoni- Punarvasu Sun
Dennis Quaid, Punarvasu Moon on his ranch
7. Jupiter and Venus are 'Brahmins' or priestly, the Sun and Mars are 'Kshatriyas' or warriors, the Moon is 'Vaishya', or a trader, Mercury is a 'Vaisya', Saturn 'Shudra', or a lower caste and Rahu and Ketu are outcastes.
This is not an observation but just an astrological fact that I thought I'd mention
8. Magha girls are often the spoilt daughters or come from very bougie families where they're the princesses. They might emotionally suffer but materially and otherwise, they're very comfortable
Shruti Hassan- Magha Moon
she has spoken about how rough her childhood was bc of her parents' tumultuous marriage and subsequent divorce but that doesn't change the fact that she's the daughter of Kamal Hassan, one of the biggest stars in the history of Indian cinema
Kiara Advani- Magha Moon
Kiara is from a very wealthy and illustrious family, and she grew up as a much loved, spoilt ish daughter<3
Wonyoung- Magha Sun
Wonyoung is from a filthy rich family and she has said that she grew up very pampered. And that she didn't have an allowance bc whatever she asked for she got. However she became a trainee at 12yrs of age and that journey could not have been easy. Despite being born rich, she's had to go through a lot in life to be where she is today
Aditi Rao Hydari- Magha Moon
she's of actual royal lineage so she's a real life princess but her parents divorced when she was a kid and she grew up with a single mom in delhi and not in a palace
9. DMX- Mula Sun (dog yoni) was obsessed with dogs
The late rapper DMX's relationship with dogs, which seems almost mythical. He was born in 1970 - the year of the Metal Dog, and in his teens he ran away from his abusive household and befriended stray dogs while vulnerable on the streets. He began to gather dogs for protection, intimidation and family, and was sent to prison for stealing a dog (a neglected dog chained up in a scrapyard). In prison, he wrote a lot of his early songs, in which he came up with his "dog" mythology, in which he imagines himself as a monstrous dog-themed gangster who barks and howls. He had a huge tattoo of his favourite dog Boomer on his back. In 2008, his 12 dogs were taken from him by cops after there were reports of animal cruelty - DMX had paid a negligent caretaker to look after the dogs while he was on tour. (The dogs lived out the rest of their lives as therapy animals in a women's prison)
I think its interesting how our yoni animal influences our life
10. As Vighati graha, male planets are: Sun, Mars, Jupiter, Rahu; female planets are: Moon, Venus, Ketu whilst two eunuch planets are Mercury and Saturn. All the standard rules for determination of the sex of the child are applicable, female signs are: Taurus, Gemini, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Aquarius; male signs are: Aries, Cancer, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius and Pisces. Exalted planets indicate male issue and debilitated planets indicate female.
11. Mercurial men and Jupiter men are soooo flamboyant, sassy and gender non-conforming
RuPaul- Vishaka Sun & Moon
Elton John- Jyeshta Rising
Jeff Goldblum- Jyeshta Moon
Prince- Vishaka Rising
Jimi Hendrix- Mars in Vishaka atmakaraka

~ Panthera (Dr. Barbara Minerva): When the young, wealthy & spoiled Black British billionaire heiress socialite Barbara Minerva soon discovers the forgotten mythical island of Themyscira after miraculously surviving a traumatic plane crash during her world-renowned historian/archaeologist parent’s latest archaeological expedition within the Aegean Sea, she soon finds herself being captured and slowly integrated into the lost Amazonian society as she’s soon trained/raised by them to ultimately become one of their most elite warriors after passing all of their long and grueling tests as she then later drinks the potion of the Greco-Egyptian cat goddess Ailuros that granted her vast superhuman powers and abilities that combined with her amazonian armor and wepons to make her the ultimate warrior.
~ Black Caesar (David Hyde): When the former war veteran turned pirate David Hyde’s ship sank during a massive storm at sea, he was saved and taken to lost underwater Kingdom of Atlantis where he soon falls in love with the Atlantian Queen Atlanna as they even have a daughter together who eventually becomes the Silver Siren, but under Atlantian law they weren’t allowed to marry since David Hyde is human outsider as well as a pirate, but he then decides to stay and protect Atlantis regardless with the help of a specialized diving suit that allows him to both survive deep underwater and to control all forms of sea life like manta rays, but the Queen’s first child The Sea King doesn’t approve it and wants to get rid of him.
~ The Jester (Jack Napier): When Thomas Wayne Sr.’s illegitimate 10 year-old son Jack Napier witnesses the tragic deaths of the entire Wayne family by the hands of the lone gunman Joe Chill within Gotham City’s notorious “Crime Ally”, he soon went insane while also developing a particularly severe case of Dissociative Identity Disorder (a.k.a. “Split-Personality Disorder”) as he’s soon sent to Arkham Asylum for treatment where he is soon treated by the loving, caring and supportive & somewhat motherly child psychiatrist Dr. Harleen Quinzel, as he soon convinces her to become vigilantes together with a rather strange sence of justice, as he won’t rest until he gets his revenge and to save the dark and bloodied streets of Gotham City from itself.
So essentially these four superhuman individuals would eventually form a league of their own alongside the likes of: Emerald Knight (a.k.a. “Thaal Sinestro of Space Sector 1417”), General Grodd (a.k.a. “The Super Genius of Gorilla City”) & The Black Marvel (a.k.a. “The Pharaoh Teth-Adam”.)

Spider-verse, but Nightwing
OK I once saw a comment somewhere which went along the lines of...
"I wish Dc would give us a animation-like Spiderverse of Nightwing"
and at first i kind of ignored it- cuz idk, i don't really care about Nightwing- I mean, i love him! He's great, but not one of my favorite batfamily members.
BUT THEN I REALIZED THE OTHER CHARACTERS WOULD BE THERE TOO
so, here's what i think a Spiderverse movie would be like,
(If the plot was similar)
Nightwing- Obv he's Miles Morales, the main character!
Gwen- OK, the love interest. So we have three main competitors for fan favorite ships! Dick/Wally, Dick/Barbara, and Dick/Kori! Now one of them is already cancelled by default, because Dc is a coward, so we only have Barbara and Kori left! and well, Barbara fits Gwen's personality much more than Kori, and that paired with the fact that DC favors DickBabs in general, WE HAVE A WINNER!
SpiderVerse- okay, this is where it starts to lean a bit away from the movies and a bit from the comics; Spiderverse is now the Court of Owls! My headcannon is that for some reason all vigilantes (minus Batman and one other person, u will find out) join the court of owls thinking it has the right idea, and then BOOM its not actually that good (it kills people it can't control). BUT its not that wrong either. When it figures out what its doing wrong, it starts helping the vigilantes against the real evil, which is...
Spot- The league of assassins :)) YES I KNOW, IT ISN'T REALLY A MAIN VILLAIN of Nightwing's, but STILL, it's too good of a opportunity to give up seeing Ra's and Talia in the movie.
Miles Parents- Bruce and Selina, obviously. I think Jefferson's personality as a parent is PERFECT for Bruce-emotionally-constipated-dad! Selina is Bruce's wife, obv, BUT there is one change here...Y'know that scene where Rio gives Miles that 'your un-grounded" talk? I think it would be Wally giving Nightwing a super cool heartwarming speech (it won't be the same though) and then turned out Selina was listening to it all and at the end is just like "sigh, ok, you're ungrounded, come back soon, i'll deal with Bruce."
NOW FOR THE REST OF THE BATFAMILY MEMBER'S
Tim Drake- DRUM ROLL PLEASE, Hobie Brown! Hobie's smart, and while his personality might be a bit too much....It's still perfect for the role Tim would be playing. Hobie doesn’t trust the Court, and at the end he’s the one who had everything prepared for when they realise that the Court Of Owls is wrong!
Stephanie Brown- AND SHE'S GOING TO BE OUR FAV CINNAMON ROLL, Pavitr Prabhakar. And as much as it pains me as a Pakistani to remove his Indian heritage, it must be done. He's goofy, he ships the two main characters, and is just adorable, he's perfect for Stephanie, and will definitely give her justice.
Cassandra Cain- Sadly, Cass is going to have a less prominent role in the second movie, but hopefully she shows up more in the third; Margo Kess! the scene where she lets Miles go is perfect, because she can detect body language and would understand that Nightwing is right, and Miguel is planning on hurting him.
Damian Wayne- FINALLY MY FAV CHARACTER, but this one is more of a original character instead of a already made character in the movie; Damian is going to be the person Dick has to save. Because i love their dynamic. So, Damian is probably being manipulated by LoA, and idk maybe Ra's is trying to use him as a body vessel without Damian knowing, and the court of owls needs him dead because "HES A WILD CARD" but Dick just NEEDS to save him "BECAUSE THAT'S MY BROTHER, DAMN YOU, IM NOT LETTING ANOTHER ONE DIE" and cue everyone fighting LoA and then a wholesome Dick and Dami scene; Feel free to elaborate on it.
Jason Todd- I had to think a lot for this, but i have a PERFECT answer; Uncle Aaron. ITS SAD AND WILL BREAK HEARTS BUT ITS PERFECT, HELP- The relationship with Jefferson? check. Dies? check. What more do we need?
a happy and alive Jason
Hey! Maybe he comes back when hey go to save Damian! Actually, yes, that is 100% the plot. They find Jason revived at the league and save him :3
Duke Thomas- I CANT FIND A CHARACTER FOR DUKE BUT HE HAS TO BE HERE DAMN IT- please either come up with a original character for Duke or find a already made character PLEASE.
RANDOM OTHER CHARACTERS
Peter B. Parker- Must i explain why? No, no i do not. its perfect.
Mayday- Jon Kent :))) Because why not///
MJ- (Peters wife and Maydays mother) Obv Lois Lane.
Miguel- Random court of owls leader (any idea's?).
SpiderWoman- Can't think of anyone...let me know what you guys think in the comments!
Peni Parker- Kori!! She's perfect
Pig Spiderman- Beast Boy lmao
Black and White Spiderman- Meme version of Raven.
Roy Harper- Just another original character who i need in the movie.
King-Pin- Mr. Freeze! his goals match up pretty well with Kingpins anyway.
The rest of the villains Miles faces will be random Rogues from Batman's gallery.
The rest of the Spiderman's in Spiderverse will be random Justice-League members (OMG I LOVE THIS)
And, well, the first movie takes place when it's only Dick and Jason adopted (Before Jason's death, and then a bit after, when Dick is dealing with the grief)
Feel free to add more stuff in reblogs/Comments! Really want to see what you guys come up with :3

"Couldn't Sleep, Kept Thinking...": Mohit Sharma On Final 2 Balls To Ravindra Jadeja
As Ravindra Jadeja hit the winning runs for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2023 final, Mohit Sharma was shattered, having failed to defend the title for Gujarat Titans.
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 final turned out to a sporting spectacle, with Ravindra Jadeja scoring 10 runs off the final 2 balls against Mohit Sharma of Gujarat Titans to earn his team 5th title. While it was pure ecstasy for the Super Kings, the Titans unit was in complete despair after failing to defend the title with the narrowest of margins. Mohit Sharma, who conceded a six and a four on the final two balls of the match to Jadeja, admitted that he couldn’t sleep that night, thinking what he could’ve done differently.
In a chat with The Indian Express, Mohit spoke about his plans and preparation for the final over, which went as planned until the final two balls.
“My mind was very clear in what I wanted to do. In the nets, I had practiced such situations and I have been in such scenarios before too. So I said let me bowl all balls yorkers and was backing my instinct,” the Haryana speedster said.
“They wanted to know what will be plan of action. I said I will again try to bowl yorker. People are now saying this and that but frankly it has no meaning. I knew what I wanted to do,” he added.
WIth Shivam Dube and Ravindra Jadeja on strike, CSK could only score 3 runs from the first 4 balls. But, Jadeja sent the penultimate delivery straight down the ground for a six before hitting a four fine behind the stumps to complete the run-chase.
“I ran and tried to bowl (yorker) again. I just wanted to be focussed and back myself. Whole IPL I have done that. The ball landed where it shouldn’t have and Jadeja got his bat. I tried, I tried my best,” he says.
Having come into the team, literally from nowhere, Mohit truly had a comeback season that he would be remembered for a long time.
He said: “I couldn’t sleep. Sochta raha kya alag karta joh match jeet jaate. What if I could have bowled this ball or that ball? It’s not a nice feeling now. Somewhere something is missing but I’m trying to move on.”
“I was picked from nowhere. I remember speaking to Ani bhai (Anirudh Chaudhary, a veteran Haryana administrator) before the season what shall I do? Shall I continue or not. He had said I should try to play. I had come with no expectation and just have continued to work hard. My work ethic has remained the same. I don’t know what lies ahead, but I have enjoyed my journey,” the pacer went on to say.

[ad_1] Mehrajuddin Wadoo, Mohammedan Sporting Club (PC: Debasis Sen) Mohammedan Sporting’s plight in their maiden Indian Super League season has been underwhelming. The century-old Kolkata outfit are languishing at the bottom of the table with just 11 points from 18 games. The club management is not on the same page with the investors. Adding to the woes, the players and coaching staff are not being paid salaries over the last two months. leading to the Russian coach Andrey Chernyshov resigning from his post. Mehrajuddin Wadoo, who has been entrusted with the responsibilities of coaching the side in the absence of Chernyshov, did not have a good start as his side were thrashed 0-4 by Mohun Bagan, on Saturday. As the club prepares for the upcoming away fixture against Hyderabad FC on February 8, the newly-appointed Mohammedan Sporting coach shares his thoughts on the remaining six matches in the ISL. Here are the excerpts: It has not not been a great start for you as the coach of Mohammedan Sporting as your side suffered a crushing defeat against Mohun Bagan in the last match… Mehrajuddin: It was a tough challenge as we all know Mohun Bagan are a strong side and are on top of the ISL points table. We have never shied away from challenges. Conceding three goals in the first half from set pieces pushed us back. And Qasimov getting a red card did not help our cause. I thought the players put up a good fight in the second half. We still have six matches remaining and are hopeful of doing well. Are you enjoying this new role as the coach of Mohammedan Sporting? Mehrajuddin: I will be lying if I say I am not enjoying my role as the coach of Mohammedan Sporting. It has been only seven years since I started coaching. I retired as a player in 2017 and always wanted to be involved in coaching. I was always passionate about coaching and have been involved as coach in I League clubs. It was always a huge opportunity to coach in the ISL and I have previously been involved as a coach at the Mohammedan Sporting club. At this moment, it is tough not only for the players but the coaching staff as well. Despite the challenges, my aim will be to guide the team well in the remaining six matches in ISL. For the Latest Sports News: Click Here Mohammedan Sporting players at practice (PC: Mohammedan Sporting/X) How challenging is it for you as a coach to motivate the players who have not been getting salaries for the last two months? Mehrajuddin: I would like to say that all my players are very professional and committed to give their best despite issues with their salaries. Obviously, at times, it can be demotivating for the players when their demands are not met. The situation at Mohammedan Sporting club is nothing new in Indian football. Even I faced such incidents (salary issues) during my playing days. The good thing is all the concerned parties, I mean the club management and investors are trying to get the issues sorted as quickly as possible. There has been an initiative to settle the crisis. It is a big challenge for me as a coach to motivate the players to give their best on the pitch but I take full responsibility. My job has been to constantly tell my players to focus on their game rather than getting worried with off-field issues. They need to realise that they will get their salaries which are due. They need to leave aside the salary issues and concentrate on their game once they are on the field, as their primary objective as a player is to give their best for the team. What are your thoughts on the upcoming away fixture against Hyderabad FC as they are also struggling this season? Mehrajuddin: All the teams in the ISL are competitive and Hyderabad FC is no different. Yes, they also have not had a good season and will be desperate to salvage some points towards the final stages of the league. We want to leave behind the result against Mohun Bagan and are preparing well for the away fixture against Hyderabad FC. Our primary target will be to get a point.
Dimi Petratos during Mohun Bagan vs Mohammedan SC (PC: Debasis Sen) You will miss Kasimov in the crucial encounter against Hyderabad as he is serving a suspension. Would you say it was a bit irresponsible of him to get the red card against Mohun Bagan? Mehrajuddin: I would say it was an act of frustration from him (Kasimov) to see the team trailing 0-3 in the first half. There will be challenges and you must find ways to overcome it. It could have been avoided as it put the team in further trouble. To play with 10 men against a team like Mohun Bagan is always going to be difficult. Are you not happy with the overall fitness of the players? We saw today the entire practice session was focused on enhancing endurance and strength training… Mehrajuddin: There are still a few days remaining for our next fixture against Hyderabad FC. So, the emphasis was to enhance the fitness and endurance of the players. We will be back focusing on the technical aspect when we return to training on Wednesday and Thursday before we leave for Hyderabad on Friday. You have played for this club and know enough about the passion of fans. What will be your message to them? Mehrajuddin: The passion among the loyal fans in all three big clubs in Kolkata is unmatched compared to other clubs in the country. Players get the warmth here in Kolkata. The loyal fans do not leave the club even during the tough times. They have every reason to get angry and disappointed when the team is not getting the desired results. They should also remember that this is the first season for Mohammedan Sporting in the ISL. They have come to the stadium to support us in every match we played. We will try to bring back the smile on the faces of the loyal fans. PSL Schedule Today 2025 Venue, Points Table
As cricket fans eagerly anticipate the 2025 season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is making significant adjustments to the tournament's schedule and venues. This adjustment comes in response to a potential clash with the ICC Champions Trophy, which is slated to be held earlier in the year. Here’s a comprehensive update on the PSL 2025 schedule, venues, and points table.
PSL 2025 Schedule
The PCB has tentatively set the PSL 2025 to run from April 7 to May 20, a shift aimed at avoiding overlap with the ICC Champions Trophy, which is expected to take place in February and March. This scheduling move places the PSL in direct competition with the Indian Premier League (IPL), which will be held from March 22 to May 26.
This new timing aligns the PSL with the cricketing calendar while ensuring it doesn't coincide with the Champions Trophy, thereby preventing any potential clash with international cricket fixtures. The decision was made following detailed discussions between PCB officials and franchise owners, who explored the most suitable timing for the league.
PSL 2025 Venues
For the 2025 season, the PCB has chosen Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi as the primary venues for the PSL matches. Each team will play a minimum of five home games, providing ample opportunity for local fans to support their teams. The decision also includes the potential for additional venues to be added to enhance the league's reach and fan engagement.
In addition to these primary venues, the PCB is considering staging the four playoffs at neutral locations. This move aims to ensure fairness and increase the overall appeal of the playoffs, giving all teams an equal opportunity to compete for the title.
PSL 2025 Points Table Overview
As of the latest update, the points table for PSL 2025 is as follows:Squad/TeamMatches (M)Wins (W)Losses (L)Net Run Rate (NRR)Points (PTS)Quetta Gladiators1054-0.92111Multan Sultans10731.1514Peshawar Zalmi10630.14713Lahore Qalandars1018-0.5543Islamabad United10540.22411Karachi Kings1046-0.1928
Innovations and Changes
In its efforts to enhance the entertainment value of PSL 2025, the PCB is contemplating the introduction of a 'Power Surge' rule. This innovation, inspired by Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL), would allow teams to call for a two-over Power Play during the latter stages of their innings (from the 11th over onwards). This rule aims to add an extra layer of excitement and strategy to the matches, potentially leading to more high-scoring games and thrilling finishes.
Upcoming Meetings and Decisions
Further discussions regarding the PSL 2025 schedule and other innovations are expected to take place during the upcoming General Council meeting. This meeting will provide more clarity on the final details of the schedule and any additional changes that may be implemented.
Summary
The PSL 2025 is shaping up to be a highly anticipated season, with significant adjustments being made to the schedule and venues. The PCB’s decision to move the tournament to April-May helps avoid conflict with the ICC Champions Trophy and aligns the PSL with the broader cricketing calendar. With Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi set to host the majority of the matches and the possibility of additional venues being considered, the stage is set for an exciting season.
Fans can look forward to a revamped PSL experience with potential new rules like the 'Power Surge' and a competitive league that will run concurrently with the IPL. As preparations continue, more details will emerge, promising a thrilling season of cricket in 2025

[ad_1] Team East Bengal (Image: EBFC) Doctors often prescribe a fresh approach to heal a lingering ailment – be it a change in routine, a new treatment plan, or a shift in perspective. For East Bengal, their AFC Challenge League campaign in Bhutan felt like just that – a much-needed remedy to rejuvenate a side mired in one of its darkest phases. After suffering six consecutive defeats in the Indian Super League (ISL), the red-and-gold brigade needed more than just a change in results. They needed a reset. Under the guidance of new coach Oscar Bruzon, they began rediscovering the resilience and identity that had defined their glorious history. The Bhutan stint wasn’t merely about winning games but about restoring confidence, unity, and physical readiness. From the start of the season, fitness had been a glaring issue for East Bengal. Players often faded after 70 minutes, unable to maintain intensity in crucial phases. Recognising this, Bruzon and his support staff prioritised rigorous fitness drills in training, ensuring the squad was not just match-ready but battle-hardened. The results were evident. Against Mohammedan SC at the Salt Lake Stadium, East Bengal, despite being reduced to nine men after two red cards in the first half, displayed incredible resilience and stamina. Holding their ground to secure a goalless draw, they showed that they were not just physically fitter, but mentally stronger as well. This transformation was evident in their next game against NorthEast United FC. From the opening whistle, East Bengal showcased relentless energy, attacking with purpose and defending with tenacity. The players pressed high, chased every loose ball, and maintained their intensity throughout the 90 minutes – testament to their improved fitness levels. The result, a long-awaited first league win, was more than just three points. It was a validation of the hard work put in by the coaching staff to prepare the players physically and mentally for the challenges ahead. Image: EBFC The resurgence wasn’t solely about fitness though. Greek striker Dimitri Diamantakos has found his scoring touch, becoming a constant threat with his precision and versatility. His partnership with playmaker Madih Talal has also blossomed. Talal, the top assist provider of the previous campaign, and Diamantakos, the top scorer, are finally in sync, giving East Bengal the cutting edge they had been missing. The unavailability of key players like Nandhakumar Sekhar and Naorem Mahesh for the NEUFC match posed challenges, but the team’s depth shone through. Players like P Vishnu took more responsibility while Jeakson Singh playing out of position and delivering was commendable. Vishnu’s contributions on the left wing and Jeakson’s adaptability on the right reflected a squad united in purpose and ready to rise to the occasion. Defensively, the backline, marshalled by the dependable Anwar Ali, showed remarkable improvement. Ali, the highest-paid Indian player, brought composure and authority to a defence that had previously looked shaky. The newfound discipline and coordination in the defensive unit were pivotal in East Bengal’s turnaround. Most importantly, the fans – always the heartbeat of the club – have found their voice again. Their unwavering support during the team’s struggles and renewed enthusiasm after recent performances have provided the players with a much-needed morale boost. The roars from the stands are louder, the belief stronger, and the connection between the team and its supporters deeper. As East Bengal gear up for their next challenge against Chennaiyin FC on December 7, hope is alive and well. A win in this crucial away fixture could serve as a catalyst for the rest of the season. While a top-six finish may still be an uphill task, the fitness, hunger, and cohesion displayed by the team suggest that they are ready to fight till the end. The tide may have turned for East Bengal, and under Bruzon’s guidance, the red-and-gold brigade are poised to rise again – fitter, hungrier, and more determined than ever.
