One of the more obscure supporting characters in the anime Vision of Escaflowne, Voris is one of the Duke of Freid's trusted advisors and a military commander in his country of Freid. Freid is a fictional country inspired by South East Asia and therefore I chose motifs and architectural details from these cultures for Voris’ portrait.

So I ordered some Jhumka earrings from Amazon recently and they came in yesterday!

Jhumka earrings are the type of earrings that Seetha wears, and my close friend suggested I wear them in honor of my love for RRR. So got one set of gold Jhumka earrings, and the other set with orange paint!😊💖

The orange ones are heavy and I need to get used to them! The plain gold ones make a gingle sound, which is what Jhumka earrings are meant to do!

As said by Google, the word 'jhumka' instantly evokes a picture of movement and fluidity.

I really feel lovely wearing these and will definitely get more later!

Some experimental design

I was kinda inspired to make a traditional Indian Dress by a fakemon (Basically, fanmade Pokemon) region based on India, it caught my attention and one of the mons there gave me atleast some motivation to work on it although it's my first time drawing Indian dress so it turned out to be fine for me tbh

Small story:

A man with business mindset came to a village and saw so many monkeys.

He announced to villagers that he want monkeys and he will pay 5 Rupees per monkey and went away by saying he will come next week.

All villagers went to catch monkeys and caught almost 100 monkeys.

Next week businessman came and he took the monkeys by paying amount and went away.

Again he came back to same village after one week and announces he want more monkeys and he will pay 50 Rupees per monkey. He went away by saying he will come next week.

All villagers searched in same village they didn’t get enough monkeys, so they went to neighbor villages and caught 200 more monkeys and sold it to businessman next week.

Now the twist is:

Again businessman came to same village and announced he want more monkeys and he will pay 500 Rupees per monkey and says he will come next week to collect monkeys.

Villagers are now worried, because there are no monkeys in their and other neighboring villages.

Businessman sends his son to the same village by giving him 300 monkeys and instructs him to sell it for 400 Rupees each.

Boy goes to village and announces that he is having 300 monkeys and price of each monkey is 400 Rupees.

Villages are very happy thinking they will purchase all 300 monkeys to 400 rupees and will sell it to businessman for 500 rupees next week and they can make 100 rupees profit on each monkey.

All villagers purchased the 300 monkeys for 400 rupees each and was very happy.

Villagers waited for 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks and for 1 month. Businessman never came back and then got to know they are cheated by him.

All villagers felt ashamed for their greediness.

Now Karnataka people are feeling the Heat 😁
