Simon Riley (Ghost) Headcanons

yep, I'm running through my whole fiction crush list. Requests are open in my inbox if you wanna reach out for a headcanon list (I will read through all of them and probably pick characters I know regardless of my romantic preference on them) <3

He has some low-maintainance plants in his apartment that somehow haven't died yet. They are all named but he refuses to disclose those names to anyone.

He can do the pec pump thing, where he can flex each pec individually. He doesn't really recall where he picked it up but it is his completely useless skill that makes him laugh.

He has a really, really nice laugh. Because of how nice and raspy and deep his voice is, he has one of those laughs that get caught in the back of his throat and then builds up from a quiet rasp to a boisterous one if it's particularly hilarious and it's just *mwah* chefs kiss.

He has a random pair of socks that he has declared his "lucky pair" of socks. They're completely black and average and unassuming until you look on the bottom half and they're a bleached reddish rust color on both halves on the pair to match König's cloth.

This man is horrible at man-spreading. He does it all the time; anytime, anywhere, any chance he can get. He thinks it's some kind of psychological dominance thing. (It just an annoyance anyone sitting next to him on a couch.)

he really likes to call his partner my (girl/boy/baby). He gets insanely possessive about it.

Man is weirdly silent, like all the time. He's used to it because of his job, but it's like a little bit unsettling? Like dude just doesn't make noise. Walking? Quiet. Sneezing? Quiet. Coughing? Non-existent. You will have to put some kind of keys or bell or something on him when he's not deployed or you will have a heart attack one day.

Do fans genuinely not want Rob and Kaitlin together? I think they’re a good pairing. They (mostly Rob) certainly have some weird kinks, but they’ve always seemed to really love each other. In fact, as much as Rob’s changed over the years, his love for Kaitlin is the thing that’s remained consistent.

Huh? No I don’t think I’ve ever heard that lol I think most people generally agree they’re kinda perfect for each other (for better or worse). I do enjoy what we see of their relationship, admittedly.. they act like teenagers around each other, like that one annoying couple always glued to each other that everyone knew in high school

If this is coming from the recent Glob conversations, that’s more like.. intertwined with Kaitlin..hence Globlin.. Glenn is like their third/the OG

One of my favorite tropes in writing when it comes to family and long-time relationship dynamics is being able to trace back influences. Like you read enough and you eventually find out that one character's repeated quirk is actually something they got from their parent.

I also really love playing with the way people will regress a little bit around relationships, and even different people that just remind them of relationships they've had for a really long time. Like you'll see a grown adult human but when they spend enough time with a friend they've had since childhood you'll get a flash of what they were like at 16.

I love playing with characters and relationships is what I mean to say.
