Things that happened in my first BG3 playthrough that I wanna talk about because it was a fever dream as I impulse bought the game and had never played a video game to this extent before:

1. Killed Cazador by just staying out of sight and casting daylight of his staff. That dumbass didn’t drop the staff and just went down

2. Is Halsin not giving out finished ducks to people? I saw someone on TikTok say that they need him to have a finished duck, and like he gave me one in the epilogue.

3. As I had never played a video game like this I didn’t realize how important leveling up was so I got all the way to act 3 with some hilariously low level characters.

4. I didn’t even try to go through both the underdark and the risen road. So I missed everything on that side and was so upset I could find the temple everyone was blowing up.

5. Astarion telling me “it’s not goodbye but perhaps see you later darling” literally broke me

6. I didn’t know you could find a way to save Wylls dad

7. Also did yall know about the dragon quest for Wyll that’s insane that I didnt even know anything about it till my third playthrough.

Im sure more will come to me but these are just off the top of my head

chloé, do you have any theories why he is not liked in the UK? I understand the Sony connections, but after so many years it's so hard to understand why we're still stuck here.

I think he's liked but all the men in charge of those radios seem to be butthurt in a way. Could be sony, could be simon shaking some hands but it's obvious some guy decided louis wouldn't reach an audience in the UK.

My theory that is, I think, most people's theory is that sony doesn't want another 1d boy to be successful bc they put all their eggs in harry's basket. Harry's whole image is being better than his bandmates and they've encouraged this by building a fandom that absolutely believe this. Sony can't afford to have two successful 1d band members bc it would break the illusion that harry is better than the others.

They never believed liam and niall could do it (which they did) so they never thought to keep them but they knew louis had as much support as harry and they didn't want that. So here we are 7 years later with them trying so hard to make fans leave which they were successful at: people left in mass bc of babygate and louis' career stagnating while also him having a bad image. Louis is not with sony anymore (although I believe all the boys still have obligations towards sony bc of their 1d contracts) and they only have a few cards they can play to try to sabotage his rise to success.

My solution for bloatware is this: by law you should hire in every programming team someone who is Like, A Guy who has a crappy laptop with 4GB and an integrated graphics card, no scratch that, 2 GB of RAM, and a rural internet connection. And every time someone in your team proposes to add shit like NPCs with visible pores or ray tracing or all the bloatware that Windows, Adobe, etc. are doing now, they have to come back and try your project in the Guy's laptop and answer to him. He is allowed to insult you and humilliate you if it doesn't work in his laptop, and you should by law apologize and optimize it for him. If you try to put any kind of DRM or permanent internet connection, he is legally allowed to shoot you.

With about 5 or 10 years of that, we will fix the world.
