Elon Musk, JK Rowling cited in cyber harassment criminal complaint
Tech billionaire Elon Musk and writer J.K. Rowling were named in a criminal complaint filed by Algerian boxer Imane Khelif to French authorities over alleged sex-based “acts of aggravated cyber harassment,” according to Fox News.
Nabil Boudi, a Paris-based lawyer for Khelif, confirmed on Tuesday that the owner of Space X and the author of the Harry Potter were named in the complaint originally filed on Friday to a unit of the Paris prosecutor’s office known as the National Centre for the Fight Against Online Hatred.
In a separate statement to Variety, the centre confirmed that the boxer wanted to launch an investigation into “the counts of cyber harassment due to gender, public insult because of gender, public incitement to discrimination and public insult because of origin.”
Khelif, who failed a gender test for women’s competition last year, sparked an international outcry over issues of gender identity and maintaining fair competition in women’s sport when Italian rival Angela Cariniwithdrew from the bout at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, citing pain from opening punches.
I’m terribly hurt, I don’t want to continue. It’s unfair.
The bout lasted 46 seconds. However, Carini later stated that she regretted her decision and wanted to apologise to Khelif, probably due to the public pressure she faced.

That Italian boxer is an absolute bitch who 100% knew what she was doing in making her loss about Imane's gender.
She saw her opportunity not to be remembered as the one who pussied out at the Olympics by having the anti woke mob harass a cis woman into the fucking dirt. Some white woman tears and a line about 'never felt a punch like it' and another brown woman with high testosterone gets to have every newspaper in Europe call her a 'biological male' and underneath in the comments is every white man who now wants to 'kick the shit' out of Imane for being an 'abusive man in women's sports'.
I think the Italian boxer should be disqualified - she 100% gunned for Imane to be falsely labelled as 'trans' and bullied out of the competition. She'll go home a fucking martyr and doesn't give a shit that Imane comes from a country where being gay or trans is illegal so she's now put a massive target on Imane's back.
Absolutely vile conduct. Fire the bitch out of a cannon.

Vladimir Putin & The Anti-Trans Cult
So lets just sum this up, shall we?
The UK, USA and all of Europe is at war with Russia, because we think Vladimir Putin is an evil bastard who is trying to take over Ukraine. We think he is one of the most evil men in the world, and anyone who is associated with him is also an evil bastard who can’t be trusted.
Very few people disagree with this, and it is the primary reason that Russia are not allowed to take part in The Olympics.
Are you all with me so far?
Good.
There is an organisation called The International Boxing Association.
It is run by a man named Umar Kremlev. A man who is widely criticised for having very close ties with Vladimir Putin (you remember him, right?), for being associated with a Russian state owned oil company and for there being “irregularities” during the elections of 2021 and 2022. He is, in short, a very suspicious character and did I mention him being very close to Putin (the guy who is the reason Russia aren’t allowed in polite company or The Olympics).
He is also the reason why The IBA aren’t permitted to oversee boxing at The Olympics — the first time an international authority was ever expelled from The Olympics.
And — if this wasn’t enough — he was the man in charge when a woman named Imane Khelif was disqualified from the World Championships for “undisclosed reasons” just after she defeated the previously undefeated Azalia Amineva — the previously unbeaten Russian contender.
The IBA — under the direction of a Russian man who is close friends with Putin, and who disqualified someone who beat a previously unbeaten Russian contender — claimed she had “high testosterone levels” but then said “they had not undergone testosterone testing” (so quite how they knew how high her testosterone levels were is curious — did they just look at her and go “No — too high”?), then they said DNA testing proved she “had XY chromosomes” except there is no evidence that she has XY chromosomes, and the only evidence that The Russian lead IBA is willing to provide is “confidential” and shows “a competitive advantage”
So — to sum up — The IBA, which is run by a Russian who is close friends with someone most of the known world hates, and who the UK, USA and Europe is at war with, and who is suspected of being incredibly corrupt, banned a woman from The World Championship for no apparent reason other than she beat a Russian contender who was going to go for the gold medal.
Are you still with me? Because all of this is merely prologue. Now we get to the good stuff.
The woman at the centre of all this — Imane Khelif — is about to go for The Olympic Gold in Paris.
Now given everything I have just told you — that she was banned from The World Championship by a corrupt organisation run by a man with ties to the Russian regime because she beat a Russian contender who was going to fight for the gold and so far there has been no evidence whatsoever to back up the reason she was banned — where do you think the press in the UK, USA and Europe would be on her performance in The Olympics?
Yes. That’s right. They want her kicked out of the contest.
The anti-trans cult is so fucking dedicated to the bigotry that they are willing to side with a man who runs a corrupt organisation, who is in bed with Putin, who has absolutely no proof to back up any of his claims and who banned someone because they dared to beat a Russian fighter just so they can continue to target a woman who has always been a woman and who can punch harder than another woman.
It’s fucking ridiculous.

The Islamic Stance on Halloween and Its Historical Roots
The ancient Celtic (Irish/Scottish/Welsh) festival called Samhain is considered by most historians and scholars to be the predecessor of what is now Halloween.
Samhain was the New Year's Day of the pagan Celts. It was also the Day of the Dead, a time when it was believed that the souls of those who had died during the year were allowed access into the "land of the dead".
Many traditional beliefs and customs associated with Samhain continue to be practiced today on the 31st of October. Most notable of these customs are the practice of leaving offerings of food and drink (now candy) to masked and costumed revelers, and the lighting of bonfires.
Elements of this festival were incorporated into the Christian festival of All Hallow's Eve, or Hallow-Even, the night preceding All Saint's (Hallows') Day.
It is the glossing of the name Hallow-Even that has given us the name of Halloween. Until recent times in some parts of Europe, it was believed that on this night the dead walked amongst them, and that witches and warlocks flew in their midst. In preparation for this, bonfires were built to ward off these malevolent spirits.
The Islamic Perspective
Iman (faith) is the foundation of Islamic society, and tawheed (the belief in the existence and Oneness of Allah) is the essence of this faith and the very core of Islam. The safeguarding of this iman, and of this pure tawheed, is the primary objective of all Islamic teachings and legislation.
In order to keep the Muslim society purified of all traces of shirk (associating partners with Allah) and remnants of error, a continuous war must be waged against all customs and practices which originate from societies' ignorance of divine guidance, and in the errors of idol worship.
In terms of Shariah, it will not be permissible to participate in the celebration of Halloween as it is based on un-Islamic practices and beliefs.
As Muslims, we are required to preserve our beliefs and not imitate un-Islamic practices .
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said :
You must keep to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the Rightly Guided Caliphs; cling to it firmly. Beware of newly invented matters, for every new matter is an innovation, and every innovation is misleading.
(Bukhari).Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith Number 42) Hadith 28, 40 Hadith an-Nawawi)
Whoever imitates a nation is one of them.
(Source: Sunan Abi Dawud 4031
Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani)
And Allah knows best.

Ranking Portrayals of Amy x Laurie from Worst to Best
History- The best way to describe the couple is by alluding to another real-life story. David Bowie shared that when he met Iman, she was not at all interested in him, and if wanted to prove to her that he was serious, he had to work hard to win her; in his own words he described winning her as “it was as if she was a top a medieval tower, and in the process of reaching her, I became a better man, and never looked back.” This vibe is very much what makes Amy and Laurie a great couple, he the dreamer and emotional one, while she is the grounded and logical one. They balance each other out, and because they had known each other for so long, their love comes naturally and at ease that it makes sense they could love each other. They have known each other since they were young, and after much growth on their own characters, they find that they are meant to be.
2019- This is just bottom of the barrel when it comes to showing this couple. It’s funny, and while I am glad that people started to like Amy and the couple more because of this film, but let me tell you, they are not the best version. One issue that is had here is Amy’s character is so displaced. From the moment she meets Laurie, she is practically obsessed with him, plastering her foot so he may “remember what pretty feet I have” and running after him in a carriage screaming for him, when it is incredibly undignified for her to do. Amy plastered her foot because she wanted to try and explore other means of creating art, and it’s Laurie who sees her in Paris, chasing after her. This version really plays up the myth of Laurie “settling for Amy”, as he seems to not be that interested in her until she confesses her own feelings, and once again, Amy making a choice with the hope that Laurie is going to be waiting for her. I just didn’t see Laurie loving Amy as much as she loved him, and I didn’t find there to be much chemistry between the two actors as much as everyone said, not when he is so distant from her until the last moment.
1949- The problem with this film is that there is so little of them. I know that this was the same complaint of Meg and John in the 2019 film, so why aren’t I applying the same criteria to this listing? Because I would rather see so few of their interactions than see it played out incorrectly. The only real interaction they seem to have is during the party scene when Jo and Laurie get Amy and Beth food as they sit on the stairs. The only other hint of a relationship happening before the return from Europe is when Amy asks Jo, before leaving for Europe, if Jo would be alright if Laurie fell in love with another girl, hinting possibly something had happened while Jo went to New York. I think it’s a shame that we don’t see much of them, given that I think Elizabeth Taylor and Peter Lawford could have made a nice Amy x Laurie.
2018- This too suffers not having enough scenes with them, especially as adults, but I give this a pass given that the film follows Jo’s perspective more than the others. What I do like about this version is that we do see some sweet moments between them, both as children and adults, that it makes sense just how it could be possible that they fall for each other. Laurie was always so good to Amy as a child, so you understand why she, as a kid, would have a crush on him, which oddly bumps this over the 49’ film, but it allows me a better understanding why and how they fell in love. They are both creatives who are interested in what the other is doing, while Jo is focused on her own work, not necessarily caring what anyone else’s dream is, just what she thinks they ought to be.
1933- This one fare better than the 49’ film by showing more interactions between the characters that you can understand better here how they end up together. Notably, they share an interaction when Beth gets scarlet fever, and Laurie promises to take Amy out for a ride every day while at Aunt March’s, and then scene with Amy and Laurie in Europe after finding out Beth has died. I love their reunion in Europe, because it shows not only how Amy had matured from the start of the film, but also the incredibly tender look Laurie gives Amy as he comforts her, it’s so sweet and you can see the beginning of a romance blossoming between them.
1970- This is another one that really stayed true to text, and having that helps to get the audience on board with the pair. The first time they interact is when Laurie saves her from drowning, jumping in himself to save her and Amy clearly has a crush on him after this. When Laurie promises to take her out for a ride while she is at Aunt March’s there is a pretty adorable interaction where they make plans. At Meg’s wedding they already have hits of acting like a couple, when he spoke in French, “to you I surrender”, then taking her in his arms, and when dancing begins, Amy is the first person he goes to. Where they shine is when they meet again in Europe. This is incredibly faithful to the novel where Amy lays it out for him and Laurie chastises her for marrying only for money. I love the way Amy defends Laurie and is proud of him going away to London to do better things for himself. When he goes to comfort Amy, he promises to not go back to Paris as long as Amy wants him and promises to take care of her. This is the only version that shows them alone after being married, and the casual intimacy they share with each other is just precious. For book faithful, you are best to go with this one.
2017- This one was a surprise how much I liked it. I liked seeing scenes of them together, especially prior their trip in Europe, because it shows how much their relationship grows, especially the scene at Aunt March where they both talk about their faults and wishing to improve themselves. It shows their vulnerable side, which through the series, we hadn’t seen either of them show to anyone else. While we don’t get much of Amy reprimanding Laurie for his behavior, it still has them being honest with one another about their faults, encouraging the other to pursue their passions, and Kathryn Newton and Jonah Hauer-King have a wonderful chemistry together that I would very happily see them in another film where they are a couple. It’s in the looks they give each other, the simple gestures that help to show that, whether they know it or not, they are falling in love with each other, until it’s unavoidable. The scene where they admit their love, at the bank is an intimate moment, and has dialogue quite true to the book, as Laurie asks if Amy thinks they might be on the same journey that could last forever.
1978- Something I always like to see between Amy and Laurie is moments shared before going to Europe, and there is a great conversation between them about their desire to be skilled in art and music, and encouraging each other to chase their dreams. They are always so honest with each other, even if it is blunt and hurtful, in the end, they know they can take it. The scenes in Europe are so true to text that it made me so happy. I feel like so many versions do not play that out, and watching how their love went from being friends to how Laurie could realize that he never loved Jo, that his heroine of his opera stopped looking like Jo and was more like Amy, was adorable, you can really hear the sincerity in his voice when he says this. You can see how good of an influence Amy has on him, particularly when they see Jo after getting married, and she convinces him to speak to Jo about being married. I put this one higher than the 70’ miniseries, mainly because I felt the actors had a better chemistry together than the earlier version, and if you want something that overall shows the essence of Amy x Laurie, this one does the trick.
1994- I wasn’t expecting this one to be as high as it is, but I think the reason why is all the nuances that are in this version rather than just what we see. I always love seeing Amy and Laurie interactions before Europe, as it’s meant to be a softer version of friends to lovers, so to have a scene where Laurie and Amy are in the carriage, him comforting her as she worries over Beth and staying with Aunt March, and the precious moment where he promises to kisses her before she dies, and to have it come back later on was wonderful. His touching her nose, hinting at her little habit of the clothes pin on her nose, is the cutest little signs of affection between them, a sort of them thing. After their rather frank conversation of how they both are acting against their nature is very well done, showing that they can be honest with each other, and when Laurie goes to London to improve his behavior, it inspires Amy to do the same. What gets me hardest is when he receives the letter from Jo about Beth’s death and Aunt March in confinement, he doesn’t even finish the letter, just drops everything to rush to Amy’s side, proving that she was first on his mind, not Jo, and that he loved Amy more than her. This is the version to really get into Amy and Laurie, as it encapsulates everything that makes their relationship great.

⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ hi everyone \\(^.^)// i'm ćaja (tcha - yah). early 20s. i'm from an [undisclosed] country in western europe and i'm an organizer for my country's communist party
I've been on radblr for about three years now and lately i've gotten very pissed off at the casual racism, imperialist and anti-leftist propaganda that's been gleefully shared on radblr so i decided to create a sideblog to focus on women's liberation from a communist, anti-imperialist perspectiv. I know radblr has had these problems for a looong, long time but the way they treated Imane Khelif was really the final straw for me
⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ white-passing, mixed working-class lesbian
i'm involved in some antiracist orgs that work to end racism targeting my ethnic group (won't say which because i don't want to leak my main).
i support female separatism but i don't think it's the be-all end-all of feminism. anti-political lesbianism. i don't care about dumb lesbian discourse (goldstar, butch/femme etc)
i don't consider myself a radical feminist because i find a lot of radical feminist theory to be completely disconnected from working-class women's lived reality. as a working-class woman from a marginalized/racialized community many of my relatives struggle(d) with alcoholism, drug abuse, illiteracy and psychosis, i have faced homelessness a couple of times and my struggle as a woman can't be separated from my struggle as a worker
i've always been interested in marxism and i've been a member of the communist party since january 2023. social reproduction theory resonates more with my worldview but i'm also interested in general marxist feminist theory as well as materialist feminism

atheist, anti-religion, very proud evangelical christian hater
vegetarian for the environment
⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ abolish the sex trade and surrogacy. both of them are imperialist institutions that rely on the sex trafficking of impoverished women, mostly woc from the global south
you can't be a feminist, anti-racist and anti-imperialist if you support the sex trade (porn/prostitution) and surrogacy!

What a wild week it's been, and not in a good way
War criminals and a child rapist competing in the Olympics
Somehow Imane Khelif is the biggest scandal instead because morality is dead
Israel finally manages to piss off Iran and Hezbollah enough they started coordinating their attacks because why wouldn't they when Israel not only kills important public figures and civilians like they expect to win a prize?
So anyway, we're like one wrong fart away from the shit hitting the fan
Which is like...exactly what they've been trying to do for almost a year and somehow the West is still surprised
Of course the West is no leaping to Israel's defense from the "big bad Arabs" and hurtling us towards a huge regional conflict AT BEST
Which is also why no one should be surprised there's fascists rioting across England and attacking people of color for existing and yet they don't seem to understand that constantly painting people fleeing war and poverty as evil invaders is both extremely hypocritical and also the best way to get a country with a lot of fascists
The Nato, US and Germany straight up restarting the Cold War because the Boogeyman (Putin) is apparently so close to stealing all of Europe (he is not)
Like seriously, how is stationing long range weaponry in the country with the most incompetent military supposed to deter Putin from doing fucking anything? Germany can't even get it's soldiers working guns, I mean, come on!
And I don't want to act as the new weapons depot for the fucking US of War Boners, don't put that shit in my backyard.
I'm not religious but if any god is listening, we could use a do over real bad right about now

Absence of gender test took away deserved wins from women athletes
Thomas Bach surprised everyone with the statement that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) does not have a scientifically proven method for determining the gender of athletes.
The IOC chief accused the International Boxing Association (IBA) that they have no proof that athletes Imane Khelif of Algeria and Lin Yu-ting of Taiwan failed the gender test. Bach told media:
“I looked at the transcript of the press conference of this organisation – it wasn’t even clear there what tests and what results were being talked about. In any case, what was reported there is not consistent with the science.”
Khelif failed to pass the gender test at the IBA World Championships in India a year ago. Also, Taiwan’s Lin Yu-ting failed a similar test at that championship. The IOC subsequently approved both athletes to participate in the Games.
Italy’s Angela Carini refused to continue her fight against Khelif. The fight lasted 46 seconds. During the fight, Carini asked for a stoppage and said she would not continue the fight. She said, refusing to shake hands with her opponent at the end of the match:
“I’m terribly hurt, I don’t want to continue. It’s unfair.”
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni called the fight unequal and called for athletes with male genetic traits not to be allowed to compete in women’s events.
Khelif won Olympic gold in the women’s 66kg. In the final bout of the Olympic tournament, Khelif faced China’s Yang Liu. The Algerian representative was awarded the victory by unanimous decision of the judges.
The IBA conducted a gender text for “Algerian boxer” Imane Khelif in 2022 and the results were in line with males biologically, vice-president and former IBA general secretary Istvan Kovacs noted. Kovacs said in an interview with Hungarian newspaper Magyar Nemzet:
“The problem was not Khelif’s testosterone level, because it can be corrected, but the result of the gender test, which clearly showed that Iman is male from a biological point of view.”
Kovacs also added that the IBA conducted tests for four other boxers who gave the same result. This information was sent to the IOC, but they did not react in any way.
Last week, IOC chief Thomas Bach said he would not be re-elected in 2025. He said:
“As a result of deep reflection and extensive discussions, including with my family here in the room, I have come to the conclusion that my mandate should not be extended beyond the term stipulated in the Olympic Charter.”
The IOC postponed a decision on Bach’s term extension in July. At that time, a decision on an amendment to the Olympic Charter to allow the German’s powers to be extended was not accepted by the organisation’s legal affairs commission and was postponed until 2025.
Last October, several IOC members at the organisation’s session in India suggested that Bach should not resign after his second term expires in 2025.
Bach has been a member of the IOC since 1991, he led the organisation in 2013 for eight years and then stayed on for a new four-year term. His term expires in 2025. He is the 1976 Olympic champion in team foil.

The Paris Olympics was a thrilling sporting spectacle – but the opening ceremony and Algerian boxer Imane Khelif became the focus for abuse on social media that also targeted the LGBTQ+ community.
Two weeks of top-level sports events at the Paris Olympics brought many moments of joy and heartache, but the 2024 Games were also tarnished by multiple incidents of online hate speech against minorities, as well as a series of religious and national disputes on social media.
Research by BIRN’s team of digital rights monitors showed that two major controversies dominated online discourse in South-East and Central Europe throughout the duration of the Games: the row over alleged blasphemy at the opening ceremony, and the involvement of female boxers Imane Khelif and Lin Yu-Ting.
Algerian pugilist Imane Khelif was the target of the harshest personal insults online. She and Lin Yu-ting of Taiwan had both previously been disqualified from 2023’s boxing World Championships by the International Boxing Association, IBA for failing gender eligibility tests. The International Olympic Committee, however, questioned the reliability of the IBA’s tests, calling them “illegitimate”.
Nevertheless, amid widespread offensive commentary, numerous online media outlets and social media users in South-East and Central Europe referred to Khelif, who has lived as a female since birth, as a "biological man", and used male pronouns for her. Social media users then began calling for Khelif’s disqualification from the Games.
Many media outlets published false information about Khelif being a biological man. This misinformation quickly went viral, sparking yet more outraged and aggressive comments from social media users.

hey just a heads up + feel free to disregard but the post you reblogged re: the boxing situation with imane having a thread saying that carini is a MENA woman because naples is in the south of italy is, to me, an algerian woman living in europe, the wildest thing i've ever heard. like genuinely most insane argument ive ever heard. an italian woman simply isn't north african because she's from the south of italy and the broad discussion of the situation surrounding an italian woman VS an algerian woman ABSOLUTELY considers carini white and not khelif lmao. not sure why i'm sending this to be honest it just felt like a slap to the face to read this as a genuine argument on my dash.
not going to disregard! thank you for sending me this ask; i've deleted my rb & am doing some reading so i'll be aware enough to spot something like this in the future before perpetuating it. i'm sorry to have missed this one and hurt you with it 💛
