The art of waiting in Islam

Yusuf (AS) waited in the darkness of the prison before he was set free.

Ayub (AS) waited for years as he was ill, until Allah restored his health and returned his family back to him.

Yunus (AS) patiently waited in the belly of the whale until Allah forgave him

Nuh (AS) waited 950 years calling people to Islam, until Allah instructed him to make the boat

Yaqub (AS) cried so much that he became blind, and waited for Allah to reunite him with his son Yusuf (AS)

I don't know anything about any other murīd, but all I know is that a murīd of Shaykh Ibrāhīm Niasse (Allāh’s mercy on him) has no right to disrespect any Shaykh.

I wish I could go to my Mosque and talk to my Imam about how hard of a time I'm having coping with my molestation.

I know that therapy is like key here but I need spiritual guidance.

I need to hear something, anything about how Allah can help me, about how I can use my faith to help me heal. Some Quran or Hadith verses to soothe me. Something. Just.... just something....

I am alone with this. I am alone with my molestation like I have always been alone with my molestation for 12 years.... I am tired of being alone with it....
