i have done my best to find the original source for each of these images, but my work may not be perfect. apologies if not.

Uh... The... Ancients Machines, like Lor Starcutter, Star Dream and NOVA... Probably no, but... They have... Somethin' accurate... To a signature, perhaps somethin' that identify them and distinguish one from another...? Like a series number...?

i'm not sure about something like a series number, though possibly; because they're all mostly constructs! most machines are labelled by their creators.

i do tend to think that these artifacts are magical, and have an amount of sentience (some more than others). so i don't see why, in a universe where everything puts out a magic signature, they specifically would not.

they are alive, if not necessarily living, i think. here's some personal suggestions!

i think that the older something is, the more complex and layered the voice might become (unless they purposefully broadcast otherwise). i also think that unlike some of the signatures i've done for say, kirby- who imo predates all of these constructs- but who still has quite a simple and approachable signature, these things are a little more incomprehensible

i'm also certain that i received an ask about this at some point but i now can't find it at all, but i'm sure i recall someone asking about void termina's for starstruck deetective purposes:

dark matter is probably passingly alive in quite a different way. in my headcanons the matter energy itself is more of a power source that can be utilized by others (like fire, light, etc) or that they can have within them, so it would simply be "dark", the way fire would be "fiery"

individual dark matters would most likely have their own unique aura, but there's a consistent thread of empty hallways and lonely nights-- the way all waddle dees have a consistent voice of cottage core and fresh produce. a possession type deal would result in an almost 'overlay' over the possessee's original signature; though it can obviously be purposefully hidden

Disrupt project - Adobe photoshop workshop

I decided to play around with photoshop and ended up working on a digital drawing of cars in traffic, I was inspired by the image on the bottom left. I found it challenging since it was my first time doing digital drawing and I didn't have a drawing tablet but it was worth it since I'm now more familiar with the tools and functions on Adobe photoshop.

I used other apps such as Motion leap to add a rain overlay to the image and Alight motion to animate the red lights. Overall I like how this turned out.
