"Are you... thinking of going too?" Owen asked. "Have you ever been?"

"No. When I was young... well... I don't think there was ever one where I grew up. And by the time I ended up in the big city... It's just never been on my radar."

"Not even when Carlos or your girls were growing up?"

Gabriel snorted and took a swig of his drink. Andrea would have his head if she knew he was day drinking with Owen and not at his PT appointment.

"You know the mess we made of things with Carlos. So no, I've never been. Not with Carlos, not by myself."

"But you're thinking of changing that?" Owen guessed.

"Well... it's definitely been on my mind more lately." Gabriel admitted. "But I'm not sure it's my place."

"Why not? Everyone is welcome at these things. That's kind of the whole point of them." Owen chuckled. "The first time Gwyn and I went with TK was when he was 15 or 16. I don't know which one of us was more nervous."

"What was it like?"

britney spears's ...baby one more time goddamn i LOVE this album. her voice is soo beautiful and the sound is the perfect late 90s/early 2000s bubblegum pop vibe mixed with some of the most heartfelt songs youve ever heard. gorgeous gorgeous record.

chappell roan's the rise and fall of a midwest princess... obviously. i really truly feel like this album will go down as one of the Greatest pop records in history and it's so deserved ALONG WITH chappell as one of the most iconic performers. like she Literally has everything. party bops and crazy heartbreaking ballads and it translates SO well to a live show. my next record purchase as soon as i can decide between the deluxe or regular and im leaning heavyyyy toward the deluxe.

the regrettes' further joy. i had this on repeat when it came out!!! no skips it's so boppy and fun and thoughtful dreamy... i love it. would give anything to hear it live again but my signed vinyl will have to do. this album is like the music version of this emoji 💖 im so serious.

the cab's symphony soldier. have you ever... listened to this album. for one it's beautiful and two it's SUCH a fun vibe you can't not sing and dance and have so much fun. also yes i'm a spn fan ok move on.

waterparks' fandom. uhh relevant djfhdjdh. but for real it's such a stark and strong commentary on what fandom Is and parasocial relationships and how it feels to be trapped in a box because your fanbase won't let you grow as an artist and what it is to be so accessible to the public to the point where you have no control over yourself or your image. i love her deeply she tickles my brain so nicely and makes me think.

fletcher's you ruined new york city for me. it's an ep ok maybe i'm cheating but she tells the story of a whole album. i listened to this when i got dumped in nyc 🤪 so dramatic lmao. but really it's such a vulnerable breakup album that does so much in five songs. mostly make me sad.

5sos's youngblood. yeah i'm here have you LISTENED to this album??? the SOUNDS on that thing!!! it's like just the right amount of poppy and grungy and mature like... they really did something there.

harry styles debut ... controversial? honestly my favorite harry album changes prob every other week but something about his self titled is really doing it for me right now. it's an incredible body of work that introduces us to Harry Styles himself outside of one direction. i'm begging for a rockier album in the future from him bc the tastes of it we get on this record show he would just nail it.

paramore's after laughter. i swear this album made me feel alive in a way i didn't know i could feel. it's such a departure from their past work but it's still so genuine and true and you can't tell whether you're happy or sad or both or neither it's just everything to a bitch like me who can't confront her emotions dead on. and so so pretty.

carly rae jepsen's emotion.. right? how could it not be. pop perfection and that's all there is to it. the first record i bought before i even had a turntable.

What are your top five fics by kudos? on this account all of those are bakudeku because I've been very deep in the fandom until last year lmao so I'm going to cheat a little :3 and list the ones from DC fandom to self-promote myself a little 😂

1. taking a break (alone, please) at 345! I'm really happy with that and quite surprised because it's the very first proper sladick fic I wrote! Dick gets hurt during a mission so Slade takes him somewhere to take care of the wound and maybe have a little fun while he's at that. The only problem is that Dick's comm gets turned on at some point.

2. unexpectedly beneficial at 289. This is surprise since it's a New Year fic and those, in my experience, never get that much kudso lmao It's also my second fic! Dick's stuck at Brucie's New Year Eve's party. Slade comes over to keep him company

3. bunny-shaped trouble at 230 kudos, the idea came from Claudia who sent me a prompt 💕 Dick gets turned into a bunny and takes the opportunity to annoy the hell out of Slade

4. persistence at 219! This was my entry for sladerobin week and for some reason I was very anxious so I'm glad its so high in the ranks Dick goes on an undercover mission, where he has to seduce the target. Slade isn't very happy about that.

5. conflict resolution at 217 kudos! It's the first part of the series and well, let's be honest, compared to the rest (that is posted here on tumblr now, im working on it to post it properly on ao3) it isn't very exciting but I still love it and I'm happy it's so high as well! King Slade Wilson offers the way to stop the war between Gotham and Defiance. He will stop the attacks if prince Richard becomes his royal consort.

I like it a lot actually but not if there's too much of it - just a few sentences are enough or just a few words thrown here and there, and there needs to be translation somewhere in the fic, in the notes or something because people should know what the characters are saying but yeah, I like how it directly shows that someone is speaking in another language instead of writing "he cursed in russian" or other stuff like that

I've been writing/roleplaying since I was 11. I started out on that Moviestarplanet place and created a whole world of characters on there and stories with a bunch of random people, but my mom supervised everything on there because she didn't trust chatrooms (rightfully so) but it was still fun and I got to decorate cool rooms and stuff so that really helped unleash my inner storyteller. I started writing on like weird vampire/werewolf rp sites when I was 15 but it was too much for my innocent 15 year old heart so I didn't do a lot of that then I started writing Gwen Stacy on kik before one of the people I wrote with mentioned Tumblr so I came here when I was 16. I've been canon characters and oc's in multiple different fandoms and I'm honestly so embarrassed by the way I used to write and even though I have my days of feeling super crappy as a writer I'm proud of the progress I've made. This place has absolutely helped me get through school with being as good of a writer as I am in school so I'm so grateful for that. I'm very new to the MCU fandom and even newer to the Netflix's Marvel fandom and sometimes I feel like I'm too late to the party, especially since I believe the height of Marvel was probably from 2014-2019 but I'm still very lucky to be here and have such good, creative, wonderful, and talented people to write and create stories with.

Honestly I'm usually one to start out from a meme and dive from there. I'm not the best plotter at the very beginning. I think it's sometimes hard to get things lined up right away so I usually let the meme inspire me and go from there. Don't get me wrong, I love to plot, but I think sometimes it can almost feel forced or take away from the creativeness so memes are typically the way to go with me.

Oh gosh. Nights are usually when I write and on weekends, but summer is a free for all and sometimes that makes it worse because I can procrastinate because I have a "bunch of free time". I like being on a set schedule so then evenings and weekends can be my time to write.

rp experience / how long. 15+ yrs. maybe 7+ yrs tumblr now? ask @futurefocused how long I've known 'em and you'll get your answer of how long I've been on this platform on and off. since the other two mentioned it - originally used to be a big sabrina and clair rper back in the day. still see the clair icons i cropped for free use floating around out there. it's nice.

best experience. don't have one in particular, but each fandom i've been in has had one. essentially, that moment when you find a sense of comfort in your writing, the people you're writing with, and sometimes angst or shenanigans.

rp pet peeves / deal breakers. when 'dark topics' are offered, discussed in length, and agreed upon both sides with firm lines drawn but when it came to the actual writing - all the rules from the other party changed without even informing and/or even redacted to the point of 'fluffying' or 'edgifying' the event. or, even worse, using it to paint me as some person who promotes -insert dark topic here- even after the opposing party brings it up first and with more detail. ( i'll always check your boundaries first before touching anywhere close to these topics. ) so i won't write it with someone in a thread unless -insert very mysterious exception here-. drabbles maybe, hidden under cuts with plenty of disclaimers in tags and above the post in the biggest, ugliest font possible to make sure the warning is clear and to be caught by blocked tags/blacklist/tumblr savior/etc. luckily, the primary 'dark themes' on this blog will likely be related to grusha's mental health which can be done primarily in drabbles with brief/subtle references in rp that can be/often been missed in my experience. ( i'm v subtle with this shit. )

fluff, angst, or smut. i'm ace and mildly sex repulsed so i can't handle looking at most sexual content well. great at writing angst, hella fun, but always needs to be broken up with some fluff or other shit.

long or short replies. short for quicker stuff (like within a week or a few days). long can take a month. sometimes short replies magically triple in size when in the writing mood. don't be surprised if it does; it happens fairly often.

best time to write. late nights. after i've been up for 24+hrs or some dumb shit. for some reason, easier to write when completely drained. not always the best conversationalist tho.

are you like your muse. vaguely gender ambiguous, sure. athletic, no. something happening to u that that shoves you into a career that was not your first choice, yes. not much of an ice pkmn lover though (but neither was my hc of grusha). don't got blue hair tho blue is my favorite color. a little snarky and blunt when comfortable - oh no am i grusha? jk. i wish i was that tall.

I got into him around like late 2021 bcuz his song Resonance and the fact that he voiced my all time fav character at the time (Arataki Itto).

Really though, I didn’t expect for me to actually get extremely fixated on TMR but day by day I just kept on listening to his music and now im here with over 250 of his songs in my playlist and a blog.

I haven’t met a ton of fans as well since most of them are inactive/across the seas so it’s really nice seeing another tmr fan midst the silence of his fandom !!!!

When did you first join Tumblr? How long was it between that and finding total drama?

i dont feel like checking the exact date but i joined tumblr in late 2021 when i was like 16 but i didnt ever post really on it. it was when i liked toh (the show) which i dont like anymore so like. idk what to say. i did not participate in fandom literally at all i just liked posts and never reblogged anything bc i was embarassed. idk man i had hella issues.

as for total drama i first watched it idk how long ago when my friends friend at a party put it on the tv. then randomly in late 2023 i remembered that and was like that show was kinda fire i should actually watch it. then my pet rabbit died and i got really attached to it as the worlds worst coping mechanism. and now im here after sending random anons to the old td takes blog and making this account after people liked my fanfiction idea. this is kinda humiliating guys.

oh my god. ok. so. gwen and courtney were my fav characters when i very first watched then when i rewatched it again, yk in 2023, gwen was my favorite character and courtney came along for the ride so i shipped them literally only after watching island which is hella funny bc they dont fucking interact literally ever. then i actually watched action and world tour and Actually got behind it as a ship but then i got bored of them and i dont care anymore. as for liking heathney i only started shipping them more after i sent that fucking godforsaken ask to the old takes blog about them.

ok sorry this is so long but then after i was writing hcag i got bored and moved onto other ships so now i have a variety but for a sec it was literally just heathney against the world.

Wrote something for Stephan and Wallace :] apologies if it's OOC it's very late at night and I'm new to the fandom (also I have yet to read the comics)

Description: Stephan gets a little wasted at a (lame) house party. Wallace is there to "help".

No NSFW. There's kissing but it's not super detailed. Also drugs and alcohol but fair warning I've never tried either so I've got no frame of reference.

Stephan Stills was fine. He was totally fine. At least that's what he told himself as he stood outside the door to Scott's apartment. He was going to go to this stupid birthday party and then go home and it was not gonna suck and he was going to have a good time.

   Stephan raised his hand to knock, but the door flew open before he made contact, causing his knuckles to make land with force on the forehead of Scott's roommate Wallace.

   "C'mon dude, not the face! That's the money maker, the man magnet-" Wallace was cut off before he could finish his long winded complaint. "Sorry! Sorry, I'm here for the party... Scott's birthday thing?" Stephen asked, trying to disguise the stress in his voice."Yeah, I know what your here for, come inside before you freeze to death." Wallace pulled Stephen into the house by his shirt collar, closing the door behind him.

   "Theres drinks on the kitchen counter, and some edibles if that's more your speed. You should get, like, thirty. You look like you're about to explode or something and I am NOT cleaning your bits off my ceiling" Wallace teased and squeezed Stephen's shoulder before walking away to bother Scott.

   Stephen decided to pass on the weed (at least for now; weed made him stupid) and found his way toward the closest beer. Looking around the small house, it didn't seem quite like a party to Stephan. He supposed that checked out, though, considering Scott had about six friends (one of which being a high school girl). He wasn't complaining though. He wasn't in the mood for a crowd anyway.

   The mood got a bit livelier as the group got drunker, and eventually someone turned on some music. At some point, Stephen danced with Kim and then with Scott. After a bit of jumping around, Stephen's stomach decided that the brownies by the counter looked pretty tasty. His brain thought that one would be plenty, but his stomach thought five would be good. He listened to his stomach.

   Another (very hazy) hour or so went by before everyone started to leave. Scott went home with Ramoma, and the rest of the party followed, eventually leaving Stephan alone with Wallace.

   "Im.. uh... party's over... pretty tired... home" Stephan mumbled out. Wallace groaned. "Dude, how many of those brownies did you eat?" Stephan thought for a moment. "Umm. I dunno. Like... five? Sorry man... I'll pay you back or whatever... or bake you some more or something... didn't mean to eat all your food." "No, dumbass, you don't need to pay me back. I just... dude! I told you those were edibles! I can't measure shit! God knows how much weed was in those! Look, dude, you're not walking home! Just... I dunno, Scott's gone off somewhere, just take his spot and stay the night." Stephan shrugged his shoulders and took off his shoes before flopping onto the mattress on the floor.

   Wallace threw some old basketball shorts and an undershirt at Stephen. "Here. Those are Scott's. Probably better than sleeping in jeans" Stephen stood up from the bed and began to unbutton his shirt. Wallace considered telling him to change in the bathroom, but, hell, who was he to turn down a show. Stephen continued working on his shirt untill his unfocused fingers stumbled upon a particularly tricky button that they couldn't quite make work of. "Seriously man" Wallace rolled his eyes "I thought guitarist were supposed to be good with their fingers. Here, lemme just..." Wallace stepped closer to Stephen, unbuttoning his shirt the rest of the way. "There ya go"

   It could've just been his imagination, but Wallace swore Stephan turned about seventy different shades of red. "Uhh... thanks" Stephen mumbled as he unzipped his jeans and attempted to step out of then without falling on his ass(which, in his current state, required some concentration).

   "So", Wallace moved closer to Stephen. "Weed makes you stupid. Stupid people talk alot. Tell me a secret" Stephen shrugged. "I think I'm gay... or something... hey, arnt you gay...?"

   Stephen looked around for the spare clothes that Wallace had brought, but couldn't find them. "Wheres-" Wallace, who had already made his way under the covers, cut him off before he could finish. "Don't worry about it. Just get in." Wallace patted the space beside him in the bed. Stephan, who had no better ideas, did as he was told.

Wallace laughed. "Yeah, dude, it's obvious! Both of those things are obvious!"

   Stephan furrowed his eyebrows like he was deep in thought. Wallace was right, weed did make him stupid. Stephen squeezed his eyes shut and pressed his lips against the other man's. Or at least, he meant to. He overshot his target a bit and ended up with a little bit of top lip and a whole lot of nose. Wallace laughed before he kissed Stephen, running his hands through Stephen's hair. Stephen reciprocated fervently, moving closer to Wallace.

   Stephen nodded again, but his eyes stayed on Wallace. Wallace thought it was kinda creepy. He grabbed Stephen by the shoulders and turned him away, little spoon style, before putting an arm around his shoulders. "Go to sleep, man" Wallace whispered, but Stephen was already out.

   The two continued like this for a number of minutes, untill Wallace pulled away. "Look, man, im not gonna sleep with you." Stephen looked confused. "I mean, you can stay on the mattress and you can kiss me all you want, but that's it. You're waaaay too wasted for any fun stuff. Look, i may be a slut, but I have standards." Stephen nodded understandingly. "Hey, if you're still up for it, we can talk in the morning, but I've been up all day and im exhausted, so just go to sleep, ok?"
