New Shuumtasu Train Doko e Iku? PV

Everything I see for this series is genuinely surprising. EMT Squared as a studio has a very strong and limiting "style" of overexposed, bright, and pale- but Shuumatsu Train looks nothing like that.

Of course, we have big names like Mizushima Tsutomu (Shirobako, Prison School, etc) behind the project, but the color designer and director of photography are way below where you'd expect for this kind of work.

Koyama Tomoko is pretty fresh to color design, and as such is a bit all over the map, and Tazawa Jirou is a tried and true veteran of photographic direction- without much else to add.

It's the kind of duo you'd expect for a regular EMT Squared anime, not one that looks this good.

Either way, I'm still really looking forward to this series and seeing what EMT Squared can do with an original series that they seem really invested in!

Can you spoil or do a brief summary of what's going on in ch 48 of Toshokan Bessatsuhen?

Alright, I’m assuming you’ve read the previous chapters, as ch.48 concludes the current arc.

OBVIOUS SPOILERS BELOW

After they escaped from the pervert photographer, Tezuka scolds Shibasaki for saying (a long time ago) she’d be able to be in a relationship just for work. She’s still crying from the earlier shock and threatens to kill him if he tells his coworkers about seeing her cry. They go back to the dorm. Iku’s there, relieved that her friend is okay. She notices the two are holding hands, and Shibasaki says it happened like that, and that Iku told her she could be happy if she was more honest with herself, so that’s just what she did.

Kumiko Mizushima & Youichi Sakagami were working together indeed. To the police, Mizushima confesses she’s had a crush on Tezuka ever since she joined the library staff. She’s tried to tell Hikaru on Valentine’s Day and such, but he never seemed to like anyone so she thought she was safe and could woo him over time. But recently she noticed he spent a lot of time with Shibasaki, and she came to despise her fiercely. She set up her high school friend Sakagami to take pictures of Shibasaki and distribute them, acting like a stalker. Being her roommate, it was easy for Mizushima to know Shibasaki’s size and give out info for the fake nude photographs. When she realized Tezuka only had eyes for Shibasaki, she ordered Sakagami to abuse her. In the end, the two were arrested and severly punished.

Shibasaki is now back to having her dorm room for herself. The men are furious at Tezuka for going out with her and beg him to let them punch him in the face ^^ Shibasaki & Tezuka go out for lunch alone. She teases him about not controlling the rumors, and he teases her back, then says he’ll be 30 soon (so she should stop acting like a princess). She replies plenty of people will probably come between them so they should get married quickly anyway (!!!). Then she teases him about Satoshi not coming to their wedding because Hikaru is still avoiding his brother. She compels him to tell Satoshi about his new relationship with Shibasaki before the end of the month, or else… Tezuka complains that there’s only 2 weeks left. Still, time passes and we see them hang out with each other, holding hands. The chapter ends with Hikaru finally calling Satoshi.

The second stage for Starry Sky on stage has just been announced.

It will run in Tokyo from January 15th to the 26th 2020  at the Kinokuniya southern theatre TAKASHIMAYA

From the 15 to the 21th the show will run the Star performance and from the 24 to the 26 the Snow performance
