If it's okay could I request how the dr3 boys would react to their s/o being accidentally shrunk during one of Miu's experiments or something? I thought it would be a good opportunity for lots of fluff and protectiveness hehE
this was actually very fun to write, thank you for requesting anon!! also, i apologize if some of these scenarios sound repetitive, i wrote the ones i had instant ideas for first, and then sort of left myself stuck trying to think of something for the others that didn’t sound exactly like everything else i’d already written...
also, just for fun, i decided to write a little scenario for Miu, too! i hadn’t planned on it at first, but her involvement in this particular request made me want to write for her and i couldn’t help myself,,,, this is my first time writing an imagine-type thing for her so i can only hope i did her justice aha~
warnings: a little bit of swearing
*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚:*✧・゚:
Shuichi Saihara
— VERY CONCERNED!!! VERY VERY CONCERNED!!!
— you’re so small!! what if you get lost?! what if someone steps on you?! what if you fall off something and die?! what if-
— you’ll have to calm him down before he gives himself an aneurysm lol
— somehow he’s more worried than you are. Miu says she’ll be able to get you back to normal in no time, so why shouldn’t you trust her? Shuichi could give you about a thousand reasons but that’s beside the point
— if it were up to him he would hold you and not let go unless he absolutely has to in order to make sure you don’t get hurt or stuck somewhere but obviously that’s unrealistic
— to an extent, it’s cute how worried he is about you, but it does get annoying from time to time
— i mean, you’re shrunk, not stupid. you know to stay away from edges of tables and other things you could fall from, not to wander off, etc.
— but as frustrating as Shuichi can be you really can’t get upset with him because dammit he’s so cute when he gets protective and you love him so so much
Rantaro Amami
— honestly he’s not super concerned at first
— he trusts you to be careful and not get yourself killed, and he trusts Miu to get you back to normal somehow, so why should he be worried?
— though he’ll still be pretty chill for the most part, he will start to be more protective of you when he starts to fully process the sheer number of tragic deaths you could succumb to in your current shrunken state
— this protectiveness takes the form of him offering you way more assistance than you need
— it’s nice that you want to help out, rantaro, but your s/o doesn’t need you to help them find something to sit on, c’mon now
— he kind of enjoys the way you literally fit right into the palm of his hands
— additionally, there’s now a very small, feral urge in the back of his mind to brush and style your hair like his sisters always used to do with their dolls
— he’ll probably never mention it, but don’t be too surprised if he all of a sudden takes a strong liking to playing with your hair once you’re back to normal
Kokichi Ouma
— did you expect him to treat this situation with the proper concern and caution it deserves? because if so i have bad news for you-
— he thinks it’s so funny how small you are
— like, so funny Miu has to physically intervene to get him to stop cracking up at your tiny form
— obviously you don’t think it’s as funny as he does
— right away he’s thinking of ways he could use your size to his advantage to mess with somebody
— at one point he decides it would be really funny to pretend he’s going to step on you which essentially translates to pretending he’s going to murder you but once you chew him out and explain to him how mean that was he actually feels really bad for upsetting you
— while he’s nowhere near as small as you are now, Kokichi is a rather petite guy, so the size difference between the two of you isn’t quite as drastic as it is between you and the taller guys
— since he’s a little less likely to accidentally smush you, he’s able to sorta cuddle you as if you were a small stuffed animal
— and btw being gently held and all snuggled up in his arms like that??? HEAVEN. LITERAL HEAVEN
Gonta Gokuhara
— if i had to choose someone who’s the least likely to accidentally get you killed while you’re shrunk, it would be Gonta
— i mean, he handles bugs that are much smaller and delicate than you are now, and if he can take such good care of them, obviously he’ll be able to take care of you no problem!
— you draw the line at him putting you in the little bug box he carries with him, though. you’re a human being, not a beetle!
— he likes to have you sit on his shoulders! they’re so broad that there’s plenty of room for you, too
— his hair is long enough for you to hang onto it to keep your balance if you need to!
— being so tiny also really puts into perspective just how gentle Gonta is
— yes, you’ve seen firsthand how he’s able to handle delicate little insects, and he’s always gentle with you, too, but being in the position of an insect in the palm of his hand, so to speak, is so much different
— you’ve never had anyone touch you with so much care, solicitude, and just pure love before and it’s honestly the most incredible feeling in the world
K1-B0
— another very concerned boy
— (s/o) is tiny???? how??? WHY??? HUH??
— at he’s pretty concerned about his knowledge of how humans work and fears he knows much less than he thought
— nobody ever told him they could shrink!!! he didn’t know humans could do that!! that’s because they can’t, kiibo, but i appreciate the concern
— once you explain what happened to him - how you were helping Miu out when her current experiment decided to malfunction and go apeshit, making you the size of a doll in the process - he’s a little less confused but also a lot more angry
— he makes sure to give Miu a thorough lecture on lab safety! he can’t have his s/o getting hurt just by being in the same room as her!!
— don’t worry, he’ll simmer down once you assure him that you’re okay!
— similar to Gonta, Kiibo is very careful with you! he knows you’re much more fragile than he is under normal circumstances, but now that you’re so little he’s even more worried about how susceptible to injury you are
— when he holds you or touches you, he does so with the utmost precision and care, as if you’re made of glass and would shatter if he laid his hands on you incorrectly
— he won’t tell you this, but he’s really looking forward to the day Miu is able to get you back to normal just so he won’t need to be so anxious about your safety anymore
— it’s hard work worrying about the person you love!!
Kaito Momota
— another one who’s probably not as phased by the situation as he should be
— but when Miu told him that she’d accidentally shrunk his s/o, he didn’t think that meant "i shrunk your s/o and don’t have a way fix it at this point in time"
— so when he realizes that now he has to help make sure you don’t, idk, die, he’s a little annoyed. not with you, though!
— i mean, technically he doesn’t *have* to help you out, but it would be a real dick move if he didn’t lol
— he lets you sit up on his shoulder, or in the pocket of his jacket!
— at first he doesn’t totally process that you’re a little more fragile than usual, so he may accidentally manhandle you from time to time
— just be sure to tell him if he’s holding you strangely, or if you’re starting to get uncomfy
— his priority is making sure you’re taken care of and he's not about to let himself of all people get in the way of that!!
Korekiyo Shinguuji
— he’s very worried about you, but he’ll try to hide it
— the last thing he wants to do is make your situation more stressful than it needs to be by fussing over you to no end
— it’s not that he doesn’t think you can take care of yourself anymore! he just doesn’t think the world is safe enough for you anymore!
— if you catch on to his anxiety and decide to question him about it, he’ll most likely go off on a tangent about how ‘humans are at the top of the food chain’ and ‘there’s a reason most predators are large and most prey is small’ and ‘in nature small creatures are naturally put in constant danger" or something
— while you may not necessarily appreciate him comparing you to a small prey animal, you know his heart is in the right place
— he just wants to protect you!!
— Kiyo has pretty large, slender hands, and you fit in his palm rather comfortably
— under normal circumstances, he’s incredibly gentle with you, and his delicacy of his touches increases tenfold now that you’re so tiny
— in a strange way, it almost feels like he handles you the same way he would handle some sort of fragile, ancient artifact that could be destroyed with just the smallest slip of the hand
— frankly, it’s a bit of an unusual sensation, albeit in a good way!! it’s nice to be touched so gently, y’know?
Ryoma Hoshi
— he’s glad to have a chance to be the tall one in the relationship... lol i’m jk... or am i?
— unlike the other guys, Ryoma doesn’t really dote on you and assume you need his help for everything, mostly because he knows firsthand what it’s like to be so much smaller than someone
— he doesn’t really like being treated like he’s helpless, or needs constant aid from taller people, so he’s mindful of the way he responds to the situation as not to end up behaving exactly like those who frustrate him to no end
— of course if you need him for anything, whether it’s helping you go from one place to another, or just wanting some love from your boyfriend, he’s always right there for you!
— however, sometimes he needs to go get someone taller than him to help you out with something, which he really Does Not Enjoy™️, so before you ask him to help you get something from up high (by your current standards, ofc) be sure to ask yourself if it really can’t wait until you’re back to normal lol
— like with Kokichi, the size difference between you and Ryoma isn’t all that drastic compared to some of the others, so he also manages to cuddle you without much issue. it’s a little awkward at first, but at least there’s no fear he might accidentally lay on top of you and squish you to death
— perks of having a boyfriend who’s 3’5", y’know?
Miu Iruma
— you’ve always enjoyed helping Miu out in her lab, and it isn’t uncommon for her to request your assistance with something, but up until now nothing has ever really... gone wrong in there, at least not majorly
— somehow, whatever shrinking device she’d been working on decided to have an absolute freak attack and target you, not the watermelon she was about to test it on, and now you’re about ten times smaller than you should be
— at least it works... right?
— she’s very apologetic and honestly feels so incredibly guilty that she could have possibly let something like this happen to you
— you’re honestly not very upset at first. she can fix it and you’ll be back to normal in no time, right? ...right?
— now is not the best time for Miu to be telling you about how she hasn’t yet developed a way to reverse the shrinking properties of her latest invention, but unfortunately she doesn’t really have another choice
— in the meantime, she takes it upon herself to whip up a few things to make your new life as a tiny person easier until she can dedicate her time to finding out how to get you back to normal
— you’re a little surprised at the sheer amount of robotic tools and gadgets provided to you that she just had laying around, as well as how quickly she’s able to throw together little devices to help you get around quicker, or reach things up high
— if there was any doubt that she was truly upset that her experimentation could have gone so wrong, it all vanishes the second she places her lips on your head (you may be small but that’s not going to stop her from kissing you!!) and says she’s never going to let herself put you in harms way ever again
— she loves you more than anything in the world, and would spend the rest of her life trying to undo the damage she caused if she had to! that’s how much you mean to her <3

Sometimes the Truth is Comforting, too | Kokichi Ouma
Kokichi Ouma x f!reader | Kokichi has come down with Despair Disease, and everyone has a turn looking after him. You volunteer for the night shift, and have more trouble than usual deciphering what’s true and what’s false (aka, Kokichi gets liar disease but because he’s such a liar already, it makes him tell the truth)
✧✿Angst, fluff
A/N: This turned out quite a bit longer than I intended, and it took longer too, but I like how it turned out in the end. I hope you will too ❤
______________________________________________________________
You never thought you would end up here, in the dorm of the Ultimate Supreme Leader, in a chair at his bedside and tending to his fever.
After Kokichi collapsed in the dining hall, Monokuma finally confirmed that he was sick after you all spent the whole day speculating why he had been acting so strange; though at that point, no one really thought otherwise. What you hadn’t expected, was that Kokichi’s fever isn’t just due to some infection or cold, but something you’ve never even heard of before: Despair Disease.
The group collectively agreed that in order to prevent someone from attacking Kokichi while he’s weak, or risking him dying from the fever, everyone would take turns watching over him, and you volunteered yourself for this shift. You figured since you sleep late anyway, it might as well be you with the night shift.
When you first entered the room, you were actually surprised by all the clutter. What even are all those boxes? Do you even want to know?
You try not to think about it, and instead decide to step out for a drink of water and a snack from the kitchen. You don’t know how long you might be here, so you might as well get comfortable.
But as you get up out of your seat and make your way to the door, Kokichi’s weakened whine halts you before you can leave, “(y/n)~”
“Kokichi, I’ll be right back. I’m just gonna get some water, okay--”
“But you can’t leave me here alone,” he suddenly sits up, eyes and skin dewy and hair a mess, “I might die!”
“That.. But, I’m only going to be gone a second.”
You couldn’t even refute his fear. If you’ve learned anything in this nightmare scape, it’s that you can’t trust anyone, that someone is always scheming and looking for any window they can to escape.
“You have to stay. Everyone knows I’m sick, and nobody likes me. Do you really think no one will try to come in here and kill me?”
You’re taken aback by his casually honest words. “Kokichi..”
“I took water bottles and snacks from the kitchen the other day,” he says in attempts to bribe you, “So stay.”
“..Okay.”
You go back to your seat, still registering what he said a moment ago. You always hesitate to believe what the boy says, but tonight his facade is different, softer.
Kokichi had spent most of the evening asleep, with Gonta and Tsumugi keeping watch over him to prevent anyone from taking advantage of his weakened state. Of course it would be your luck that by the time it was your shift, Kokichi would be awake and somewhat delirious, and eager to talk to you. You’re thankful though; this Despair Disease seems to have rid him of his crude remarks for some reason.
But somehow his somber and emotional demeanor isn’t as enjoyable as you thought it would be. It might be nice that he isn’t insinuating you’re promiscuous, or teasing you about any number of your quirks, but seeing him so.. sentimental has your heart feeling heavy instead.
“Hey, Kokichi.. Here, give me that,” you order gently, gesturing to the drying washcloth on his forehead.
You take the cloth and run it under the sink, wringing it out a little so it isn’t dripping excessively when you carry it over to him.
Without a thermometer, you’re left just pressing the back of your hand to his forehead and cheeks. You withdraw it quickly the first time, recoiling from the intensity of his temperature against your skin. It seems like his fever isn’t going down much at all.
“You know, you’re so nice, (y/n).”
You let Kokichi babble about how kind you are as you place the damp washcloth back on his forehead and search for the alleged water bottles he has lying around. Kokichi needs to start drinking more water, or you worry he might not get any better very soon. You might not be his biggest fan, but you certainly don’t want him to suffer through this, and even less, die.
“Really, (y/n), I think you’re suuuper nice. That’s why I like you.”
“Kokichi, I think you should save the teasing for later.. Just take it easy right now.”
“But I’m not teasing, (y/n). You’re really really nice.”
“Thank you.. Anyway, here, drink as much water as you can, okay?”
Kokichi obliges, and sits up slowly, his muscles aching and head pounding. The heat bubbling under his skin has him in a daze, everything seems a touch slower. You lean and reach over him to grab something, close enough for him to pick up your scent, and it feels like you’re there for hours - can’t you stay here that long? The urge to close his arms around you comes too late, and you’re back in your seat now, scribbling something in a notebook like you were when he just woke up.
In his daze, he can’t tell if you’re writing or drawing something. He also doesn’t realize he’s staring at you, but you don't seem to notice it either.
He watches your eyelashes open and close, open and close, your eyes trained to the (f/c) notebook in your hands. Would you look up from your book more if he were someone else? If it was Shuichi, or even Kiibo, lying here? Probably.
“Um.. Are you okay, Kokichi?”
Having noticed his pensive stare, you ask him this, your head tilted cutely.
He smiles and says absently, “No.”
Your eyes flick up from your book instantly. “What’s wrong?”
“I don’t wanna die.”
Die..? The word alone has your heart sinking deep into your chest. Your breath catches in your throat as you feel a duller version of the shock that overcomes you when one of your classmates’ body is found.
You want to believe it's the delirium of his fever that has him talking like this, but something tells you that isn't true.
"You won't die. You're going to be okay. You’re.. You’re making me nervous, Kokichi.”
“Sorry.”
His apology brings you a pang of guilt. Him talking like this does make you nervous, but maybe you should keep it to yourself. It’s understandable he would feel fearful when he’s suffering from this previously unknown disease; maybe it even causes paranoia. It is Monokuma’s conception, and he did say that it’s a motive of sorts, so it must be awful.
“No, it’s okay.. But, really, you’re going to be alright. That’s why I’m here looking after you, so your fever doesn’t get worse, okay? Don’t worry.”
You’re misunderstanding him. Even if he does survive the Despair Disease, will he survive the Killing Game? He becomes less sure of it everyday. If he weren’t pretty clever, someone might’ve already killed him by now. But it’s only a matter of time until it actually happens. Your hands might be the ones to get dirty. You could even do it now, while he’s weaker than usual. At least then it would have been someone he..
No. He doesn’t want to die at all, and he can’t pretend he would be okay with dying at your hands.
“Hey, Kokichi?.. About what you said earlier..”
He blinks, having trouble accurately recalling what he’s said, let alone what you might be talking about.
“You know.. About everyone not liking you. It’s not that we don’t like you, it’s just..”
How can you explain it? You can’t truthfully say that anyone else is fond of Kokichi, but you also wouldn’t say that everyone hates him.. At least you think so, until all the hostile or at least skeptical interactions between Kokichi and one of the others play back in your mind. A sense of guilt accompanies your memories of your own rude moments, and you have to remind yourself why everyone is wary of him. No one would treat him this way if he weren’t so dishonest, or crude, and if he didn’t seem to find this Killing Game so fun.
But the more you think about his actions, the more you realize that more of it might be farce than you thought before, that maybe you were missing that it’s something else he’s hiding when he lies. After all.. Would someone happy, with nothing to hide, and nothing to fear, really lie so much?
“I’m supposed to be the liar, not you, (y/n),” Kokichi grins. In spite of his smile, you can see pain is reflected in his clouded violet eyes. “I know everyone hates me. Even you. Thanks for taking care of me, though. It’s really nice to take care of someone you hate.”
“That’s not true, Kokichi.. I don’t hate you. Why do you think that?”
“I just know. I mean, I know why. I’m a jerk to you, so I deserve it.”
Normally he’d probably say something like that with a pouted lip and lilted voice, but as you scan his features, you see that he isn’t just saying this to mock you.
“...I don’t hate you. I wouldn’t be here if I did.”
But you had to be here, didn’t you? Everyone probably pulled straws or something to see who was stuck with him. Or maybe you’re here out of pity. Maybe you didn’t want him to get worse, but only ‘cause you care about people in general, not him specifically, and sure that's a selfish thought, but the point stands.
You two sit in silence for awhile.
Kokichi occupies himself with the sliding puzzle you found in the warehouse, his thumbs deftly switching pieces like he's being timed. You listen to the constant clacking, a storm of questions weighing heavy in your mind.
"..How are you feeling?"
"Okay, I guess. Head hurts and stuff."
"Is it really bad?"
He hums in contemplation, "Kinda."
Despite his casual answer, you can’t stifle the panic that’s starting to rise in your stomach. You wish there were some medicine or something you could give him to help. A fever can go away on its own, but without medicine Kokichi could also get a lot worse.
"Do you need anything? I can get more water or--"
"Sit with me," he orders, “Please?”
He really is delirious. Your initial reaction is to refuse him, but the longer you look at his flushed face and pleading eyes, and the longer you think about how terrible he must be feeling, you find yourself unable to say no.
“Um.. Okay. But only for a second.”
It’s only because he’s sick, you tell yourself as you settle in next to him awkwardly. You keep your eyes on your lap, or on the opposite wall, or anywhere but Kokichi, and he doesn’t seem to mind. Unlike you, he isn’t uncomfortable at all. Instead, he’s so comfortable that he leans his head on your shoulder, and after a moment of listening to each other’s breathing, he closes his eyes and starts to hum.
Your eyes start to wander until you’re looking down at him, stifling the desire to stroke his dark, soft-looking locks. His humming lulls you into feeling less tense, and eventually you’re leaning your head onto Kokichi’s, trying to ignore the painful feeling in your heart as it races. If you’re not careful, you might end up falling asleep like this, and part of you doesn’t even mind.
Knock knock.
Both startled by the sudden knocks at the door, you exchange glances with Kokichi, who in his daze just stares at you owlishly. You glance briefly at the clock; your shift is still far from over. It essentially just started.
An uneasiness follows you as you make your way to the door, thankful for the pocket knife you always keep handy just in case. Never have you planned to use it, but you will if you have to, if only to incapacitate someone.
"Shuichi," you sigh upon opening the door, "What are you doing here?"
Immediately your dread dissipates at the sight of him, and the hand at your side relaxes. He gives you a sheepish smile, his hand on the nape of his neck.
"Ah, hi.. I just thought I should check up on you. How's Kokichi?"
"He's still pretty warm," you frown, stepping aside so Shuichi can see for himself.
"Hi, Shuichi," Kokichi greets from his bed, to which the Ultimate Detective reciprocates with a small greeting of his own.
He speaks to you briefly, asking you if Kokichi has been acting suspicious at all and if you feel okay being alone for your shift. You assure him everything is okay and that if anything happens you'll do your best to keep yourself and your 'patient' safe.
Still the slightest concerned, the male nods, "Well, I think that's all. Oh, that's right. Here, I found these in the warehouse. They seem safe and should help reduce Kokichi's fever."
You take the small bottle of pain medication and thank him. "Thanks, Shuichi. Be careful getting back."
Painkillers. You're surprised Monokuma was merciful enough to leave these in the warehouse for you all, you muse as you walk back to your chair.
Before you can even settle back into your seat, Kokichi hits you with a flustering question.
"Do you like Shuichi?"
"W-what? Of course, he's my friend."
"I mean do you have a crush on him," he clarifies, sounding like a child asking his babysitter about her love life.
"N-no! I don't like him like.. that."
"Well then is there someone else you like? You can tell me. I probably won't even remember any of this tomorrow."
Suddenly you feel the need to avert your gaze, completely caught off guard by this conversation.
"N-no, I.. there's no time to focus on things like that here.."
"That doesn't mean you can't have feelings. So... who is it?"
There's a chance that you are telling the truth and the topic alone is just that flustering for you. But Kokichi doesn't buy it. Or maybe he doesn't want to. But really, isn't this simultaneously the most and least perfect place for feelings to take root? Trapped within a limited space, with the same faces everyday, and, unless you're a fool, with absolutely nothing to look forward to day to day? Isn't that just asking for bonds to form, and then unceremoniously break, because this is still the Killing Game?
Even if you're too afraid and too angry to pursue someone, you probably still think about someone when you're sitting with them for breakfast, when you're on the way to the location of a body, when you're alone in your room.
"Kokichi, I'm not going to tell you something like that.. There's nothing to tell anyway."
"Hmm, how about this. I'll tell you mine then you tell me yours. Deal?"
After some back and forth and endless prodding, the Ultimate Supreme Leader does what he does best and manages to persuade you, if only to get him to stop bothering you. Plus.. like he said, he probably won't remember anyway, right? Maybe it wouldn't hurt to get something off your chest.
"Okay, I'll give you a hint."
"What?? But you said--
"She's cute, and she has (h/c) hair and… she's looking at me right now."
"W-what?! What are you saying..?"
"I'm saying I like you."
You feel like you're the one with a fever now. It takes you a moment, but you remember exactly who you're talking to, and how he would never say something like this except to make fun of you.
"That's not funny..," you mutter, gripping the bottle in your hand as you avert your eyes.
Suddenly your hand is in his clammy one, and you're staring at his flushed face, eyes shining with sincerity, or what he wants you to think is sincerity.
"I'm not joking, (y/n). I really like you," he insists, seeming confused as to why you're fighting him.
“S-stop it, Kokichi. Stop talking like that," you say as you try to pull your hand from his grip.
He doesn't let you go, insistent that he's telling you the truth. You wish you didn't want to believe it so much. You should have let the subject go, but it's too late to brush it off now.
"If you like me so much then why are you telling me now?.. Why haven't you told me before?"
Why say it now, when he's not even in his right mind?
"I didn't know how to say it, but I mean it. I really like you."
Of all the mean-spirited things he's said to you, this is one of the worst. Here you are caring for him - after volunteering to no less - and keeping watch over him, and he still can't even treat you nicely? Are your feelings really so insignificant to him that he can't keep from toying with them?
"You don't like me, Kokichi! I'm not going to fall for that so just stop, please!"
"How do you know that?," he cries, voice wavering lightly. You almost believe he's genuinely upset.
"I don't know," you reply bitterly. "I don't know anything about you. How can I? You want me to believe you but all you do is lie and hide the truth."
"But--"
You rise out of your chair, tossing two capsules of medicine onto his covers.
"No, just, just leave me alone. Take those and get some rest. I'll be here if you need anything but if you don't, then just leave me alone, please."
And to your surprise, he does. He doesn't say a thing for the rest of your shift, and eventually drifts to sleep, leaving you to soak alone in the wave of emotions roaring over you.
'Was I too harsh..?'
You can't help but question yourself. At the time you were completely convinced that Kokichi was only messing with you, trying to play with your emotions for fun, but now you feel guilty. What if it was true? Or what if he didn't mean any harm, and was just genuinely confused because of his high fever?
It's 2 a.m. when someone knocks on the door. You don't notice it at first because you're so consumed with the cycle of emotions that run through you at the thought of everything that Kokichi has said tonight.
You don't even feel relieved when Kiibo comes in for his turn; instead, you're almost angry. Angry at yourself and at Kokichi, and how you can't just have a normal conversation with him, how much you wanted to believe everything he told you in these past few hours.
After bidding the android good luck, you tuck yourself in for the night, still conflicted about the truth.
----
By the next afternoon, it's as if Kokichi was never sick to begin with. Due to everyone's careful watch, he had almost fully returned to his regular, obnoxious self.
Once you were aware of his recovery, his previously flushed face back to its typical pale hue, you actively avoided him every time you saw him. Somehow you aren't sure whether to be angry or happy that every time, he doesn't acknowledge you at all. It's not as if he would greet you like you want him to; he would probably just mock you, and tell everyone how sentimental you were being while watching over him last night.
You try to remind yourself that he probably doesn't remember anything after all, but the thought tugs at your heart as you realize that would mean he was more delirious than you thought, that he didn't mean anything he said..
Most of the day is wasted on those thoughts, little room in your mind to do anything else but mull it over.
Until you find an envelope on the floor of your room. It must have been slipped underneath your door, since you always make sure to lock it while you're away, and it's definitely meant for you because your name is scrawled along the back.
Upon opening it, you find enclosed a note and a small flower, its petals slightly crumpled.
'Dear (y/n),
Meet me in the courtyard at 7. It's important, so please come.
- Shuichi'
You can't imagine why Shuichi would summon you, and you're not even convinced this really is from Shuichi, but you decide to go nonetheless. Whoever sent this, you'll learn something from this encounter, you know that much.
Armed with your pocket knife and a mini taser you convinced Miu to make you, you step out into the courtyard, hoping you won't need to use either.
The sun is set, but it's relatively light out still as you move further from the dorm hall, which slightly eases your anxiety. But it comes back as you realize it's only a couple minutes before 7, and Shuichi is nowhere to be seen.
You walk further, thinking maybe he's coming from a different building, but you're stopped when someone taps on your shoulder.
"Heya, (y/n)," Kokichi greets casually, his arms tucked behind his head.
Immediately you try to move in a different direction, your eyes avoiding his, "I'm supposed to be meeting up with someone right now."
"Yup, me! I left you that note, not Shuichi."
You turn around to see him grinning, unable to decipher whether he's lying. "What..? But then why--"
"I knew you wouldn't come if it was from me, so I lied a little."
What else is new?
All the curiosity from before has left you now, leaving only exasperation. "What do you want, Kokichi?"
He drops his grin from a moment ago and sighs.
"Look, I'm sorry that I tricked you, okay? I just didn't know how else to get you to come here. But hey, listen, did I say anything.. weird yesterday? I can't remember much, so.. I wanted you to fill me in."
That's why he called you here? So he can clear up anything he said with some nonsense excuse?
"Yes, a lot…," you reply curtly, ready to walk away.
Before you can get more than a few steps away from him he stops you, "O-okay, wait, wait! That's not why I called you here. Just hear me out, alright?"
"Fine.."
"So.. I actually remember everything from last night. At least most of it, I think. I know I upset you, right?"
You nod wordlessly, and he continues.
"And it's 'cause you didn't believe my feelings for you. Right?"
"K-kind of.."
"Well.. I actually wasn't lying. I was trying to give you this yesterday, but since you were pissed at me I'm giving it to you now, so.. here."
In the arm hidden behind his back he holds a cardboard box, maybe a little bigger than the size of his head. Could it be one of the boxes you saw lying around in his room? He hands it to you, and it's heavier than expected.
"What.. is this?"
"It's a present, but y'know, there's no wrapping paper here so I just left it like that. Anyway, just open it. I promise it's not a bomb."
That hadn't crossed your mind but now you're less convinced that this present is something innocuous. But if Kokichi is still standing less than a foot away from you, you reason that whatever is in here can't be immediately dangerous. Hopefully.
You sit down, finding it easier to open this way, and when you open the flaps of the box, you're left furrowing your brow.
"What is all this?"
"They're weapons and stuff I told Miu to make."
You can see that much, but you're left wondering why. Is this some kind of joke too?
"I've had 'em for awhile. You can find out what they do if you look at her instructions and my blueprints."
"But, I don't get it.. why did you have her make these, and why give them to me?"
"'I had her make those so we could find the mastermind, but if I die before we can use them, then you guys are screwed. I was waiting to see who I could trust, so I kept it a secret. Plus, if I told anyone else, they'd probably rat me out to everybody. So.. since you're not stupid enough to do that, and stuff.. I'm giving them to you."
You look up at him, only met with his side profile while he stares elsewhere, hands behind his head like they were before.
"I didn't know you thought so much about all this.."
Kokichi has his back turned to you now, in attempts to seem nonchalant, but really, he doesn't want to have to mask the emotions that might break through his expression.
"Meh. I couldn't let the game get boring, so. Plus it's fun to order Miu around, have you ever tried it?"
You dig around in the box, curious if there's anything else, and there is.
A kubspad.
Could it be..?
Your eyes flood first with happiness and then tears as images of your loved ones flash before you, first with smiles on their faces. You choke back a sob as Monokuma alludes to something terrible by the end of it. It's nothing you haven't considered before, but the thought that they could be suffering or worse is always distressing.
"K-Kokichi.. You had this?"
"Not at first, but yeah."
He clears his throat, uncomfortable with the lump that's started to form there.
"I was gonna show everyone's motive video, right? But then you guys got in the way, but I still saw them all. I was tempted to show you yours but I didn't know if you were trustworthy yet, so I held onto it."
Kokichi half expects you to snap at him for keeping this from you for that long, and he braces himself for it. He couldn’t really blame you for being mad about that; you obviously care a lot about the people in your video, and even he could understand the dread of not knowing exactly what was happening to them. But you don’t snap at him - instead, your voice is the softest he’s ever heard it.
"Thank you," you murmur, the pad pressed tightly to your chest.
He isn't sure what to say now. What do you say to someone when they're sad, when you don't want them to be?
At a loss of what else to do, he sits down beside you and plays with the grass. He has the urge to crack a joke to lighten the air but he has a feeling you might not appreciate it right now.
Still, the silence is making him restless and you notice it.
"Kokichi.. Do you really.. Like me?"
He doesn’t say anything right away, leaning back and letting his back rest on the grass.
“Ha.. I don’t know why I said that. Just forget about it, ‘kay?”
It’s easier said than done, and he knows that. He knows you can’t just forget, and he knows he can’t just forget. What he doesn’t know is why he cares. Why should he care how you feel, or how he feels, or about anything at all? It was simpler before you became a recurring thought, before just seeing you was infuriating because his stomach would fill with butterflies and he didn’t understand so he thought you just made him sick. That thought is kind of funny now, especially after you spent hours tending to his fever, worrying about him.
Despite what Kokichi is thinking, his words make your heart drop into your stomach.
“What? How can I forget that?”
“Well it’s not like you.. like me or anything,” he utters, and for a moment you know he’s sincerely crestfallen, but he recovers with a nonchalant smile, “Sooo, just forget it! It’ll just be awkward if you don’t, and neither of us wants to deal with that.”
Your breath catches in your throat as you realize, it was never that Kokichi was lying to you; he was afraid all this time.
“I’m not going to forget it.”
He sits up, caught off guard by your serious tone. “Huh? Why not?”
“Because,” you pause, steeling yourself to say it, "Why would I want to forget if I feel the same way?"
Kokichi is ready to make a doubtful remark but you continue before he can.
"That's why I got so upset at you.. I didn't want you to get my hopes up. I thought maybe somehow you knew that I had feelings for you and you were making fun of me for it. Plus.. I never considered you could actually feel the same way."
When you first realized you felt something for Kokichi, you were confused and angry more than anything. Sure, he is cute, but he’s always kidding about things you shouldn’t and stirring up trouble for everyone else. Not to mention that having feelings for someone, let alone someone like Kokichi, in a situation like this is just ridiculous, and not something to think about.
You finally bring yourself to look at the boy sitting next to you, curious why he’s been silent, but his knees are to his chest and his face is buried into them. Hesitantly, you place a hand on his shoulder.
“..Kokichi? What’s wrong? You’re making me nervous.”
At his continued silence, you tug on his white sleeve, “Kokichi.”
He lifts his head but doesn’t face you at first. You notice his shoulders shaking, and worry he might be crying. When he finally faces you, you see that tears are dripping down his cheeks, but he’s also.. smiling?
“What’s wrong?”
“Ugh, it’s this stupid disease. It’s making me all mushy,” he sniffles. “Don’t get used to this. I never ever cry. Ever.”
You’re only half convinced that his illness is to blame, but you’re relieved he’s okay anyway. Feeling emboldened, you slide a little closer to the boy and wrap your arms around him, for his sake and yours. It feels surreal being this close to him, feeling strands of his hair poke your cheek as you take in his scent and his warmth, a feeling you’ve thought about for so long.
Kokichi’s thin frame goes stiff, “H-hey! Geez, you’re needier than I thought..”
You pull away, a little disappointed but mostly embarrassed, but you’re pulled back into him almost immediately.
“But so am I! Guess we’re kinda made for each other or whatever, huh?,” he murmurs cheekily into your ear.
“Kokichi!”
He chuckles as he squeezes his arms tighter around you, and though you can’t see it, he’s smiling tenderly, newly instilled with determination to bring down the mastermind, to keep both of you alive at all costs.
The sincerest you’ve ever heard him, Kokichi makes a simple request of you. “Stay with me, okay?”

Please, anymore thoughts on Kokichi?? I'd love to hear you infodump :) love your content btw
aaa omg :0 it’s a little embarrassing infodumping publicly aaaa but i’ll do it, here’s some thoughts abt him.
for starters! i think kokichi is locked into position of antagonist very early on and doesn’t really have a chance to fight it. this is partly his fault of course, i believe the reason he’s so rude and hostile is so he keep his distance from people as he doesn’t trust any of them. he reiterates many times that this is a game of suspicion and he will not let himself fall victim to someone by trusting them. he doesn’t want to appear vulnerable either so he doesn’t allow anyone even a glimpse of his true feelings most of the time, he lies so much so even when he does express true feelings, you’ll never know if he’s being serious or not.
but this also means that no matter what he does during the game, even if it’s an action that has good intentions or is for the better of the group, it will be met with hostility because everyone assumes from a very early point that he does not have their best interests in mind. this means he would literally be unable to redeem himself in their eyes because they’ve already decided that he’s a bad person no matter what. even if he started acting nice and doing everything right, people would continue to think hes scheming and is up to no good.
for example, kokichi reveals to everyone that maki is the ultimate assassin, but the others kind of treat him like an asshole for it. kokichi was doing the right thing here! everyone deserved to know that there was a professional killer among them, someone who was guarding an entire room full of weapons!! but he’s vilified for doing this. also, something big that always makes me upset, is the fact that people routinely disregard kokichi’s safety and well-being. someone he just outed as a murderer is standing there strangling him and nobody does anything to help him. then of course there’s the scene where he’s busted his head and is covered in blood and very obviously woozy and not okay, but everyone is just annoyed with him and nobody helps him. he doesn’t deserve that. everyone hates him so much.
and it comes to a point where kokichi weaponizes everyone’s hatred and mistrust of him against the mastermind, by trying to convince everyone that he Is the mastermind in his plans to hopefully end the killing game. and everyone eagerly believes it because they’ve already all got huge hate boners for him, it seems obvious to them. everyone is willing to believe he orchestrated the whole situation they’re trapped in and that he’s a remnant if despair, despite the fact that there’s actually very little evidence for it. everyone except shuichi, who later goes out of his way to prove his suspicions that kokichi isn’t the mastermind nor a remnant of despair to clear his name. which brings me to! why kokichi hates kaito and why he feels that he can trust shuichi.
kokichi is a very logic over feelings type of guy, and feels that blindly trusting people just because you think they’re your friend is a very dangerous mindset to have, in this situation at least. this is why he butts heads with kaito a lot. kaito is someone who even got mad at shuichi for accusing gonta in his trial, even though gonta Was the culprit and everyone else would be executed if they voted incorrectly, all because kaito’s belief in trusting others was so strong. kaito is very feelings over logic. kaito has a very firm stance on what he believes is right and wrong and he’s Stubborn as fuck about it. that’s part of the reason i don’t really care for kaito, he can get very preachy at times and let’s his feelings get in the way of finding the truth. he seems to feel morally superior to people in a game where morals are simply not black and white in the way he thinks they should be.
which brings me to why kokichi feels he can trust shuichi and only shuichi!
kaede was shuichi’s closest friend in the game and he did not let his feelings get in the way of naming her as the culprit. if he had blindly believed in her and refused to name her as the culprit despite all the evidence pointing towards her, everyone would have died. it completely tore shuichi up inside to send kaede to her death, it absolutely devastated him, but he did it for the sake of the group. it’s this moment where i think kokichi started taking an interest in shuichi. this is someone who understands the game and understands what has to be done to protect everyone. you can’t get everyone there killed just to protect one person, no matter how close with them you are. i think it’s from here that kokichi slowly started gaining a crush on him as well. i headcanon that kokichi didn’t have much interest in him before he actually saw him in action during the trial, when he entered “detective mode” and got all serious.
i don’t think this is a complete lie! i don’t think he’s saying he’s in love with him or anything, but i do think it’s true he likes shuichi most out of everyone there. he thinks shuichi is the most interesting and trustworthy and probably does think about him a lot. he does a lot of thinking, the gears in his head are always turning, i get the feeling he doesn’t get a lot of sleep with how much he’s always thinking. it honestly makes me pretty sad thinking about him staying up all night thinking about his situation and trying to plan how he’s going to end the game, all while being super isolated from everyone else and not having any true friends.
which takes me to another point!
kokichi ouma is a super tragic character. i don’t care what anyone says, i don’t believe having this interpretation of him is “woobifying” him or anything similar. this right here? he’s telling the truth. nobody would care if he died, and nobody Did care when he died. everyone was sad about kaito, there was hardly any talk about kokichi. kokichi died a sad, lonely, unceremonious death. nobody cared when he had blood oozing from his head, nobody cared when maki was strangling him, nobody cares about him.
he was right. kokichi was always alone, through the whole game. he died alone. and i do think that this coming from shuichi probably hurt. shuichi was the only person there who he thought he could maybe trust. and kokichi did get what he wanted, he needed Everyone to hate him so they’d all believe he was the mastermind if he wanted his plan to work, including shuichi. but i don’t think he was prepared to hear shuichi say this specifically, i think it really hit close to home which is why it shut him up the way it did. and remember, kokichi Did try to ask shuichi to be in on the plan!! during chapter 4, as they were exiting miu’s vr world, he did attempt to ask shuichi to be his accomplice in a very roundabout way, but shuichi ignored him and exited the program. there could have been a world where kokichi and shuichi worked in tandem to try to end the killing game.
which brings me to why i ship saiou. i love saiou a lot. it’s my comfort ship and it makes me very happy. part of it is that kokichi is my comfort character and i project very heavily onto him. as ive mentioned above, i think kokichi trusted shuichi, was interested in him and he was kokichi’s favorite. i think he had feelings for shuichi and it’s very comforting to imagine shuichi returning his feelings and kokichi getting to be happy. i love aus where kokichi has friends and people actually try to know him and see through his lies, don’t accept them for face value. that’s also why i think kokichi liked shuichi, everyone else took him at face value and didn’t try to look below the surface at all. shuichi was interested in kokichi, interested to know what made him tick and why he did the things he did. he cared enough to want to find out. towards the end of the game shuichi did get very tired and couldnt find any logic in his actions anymore, and ultimately did give up, but once kokichi was gone his conviction to know kokichi’s true intentions came back again.
I think overall kokichi actually was lonely and wanted someone to care about him. i know the ftes aren’t technically canon but they Are canon compliant and are in character. kokichi’s feelings for shuichi are obvious. kokichi wants to spend time with shuichi and do silly things with him like playing yugioh and having tea parties. kokichi played Rock Paper Scissors against shuichi One Hundred times and shuichi kept playing. and at the end when kokichi got all giddy when shuichi was bandaging his cut, i think he was so excited because someone cared about him. someone cared about him enough to bandage his cut and just that little thing is enough to make him bashful and happy because he isn’t used to being cared for. that’s why i ship saiou, i just want kokichi to be happy and shuichi can make him happy. out of everyone shuichi tried the hardest.
anyway i think that’s all i got! please nobody @ my about my interpretations lol

In defense of Kokichi Ouma
Yo drv3 spoilers if you don’t want that close your eyes
So I find a lot of people hate Kokichi cuz like. He’s a heartless bastard, he lies, he’s hard to read. But ngl I love all those things about him. Minus the heartless bit, he’s human too y’know. Humans are hardwired with these things called “Feelings” that are complicated and hard to understand and slip out when we want them to the least. Kokichi’s whole thing is that he’s constantly lying. Lying to Shuichi, Kaito, Maki, and even himself. Kokichi figured that in a killing game getting all buddy buddy with your fellow participants is the last thing you wanna do. So he quickly distanced himself. He acted disgusting so all the others would want to distance themselves. He practically teamed up with Monokuma just so the others wouldn’t get near him. And he wasn’t just protecting himself, oh no. He also tries to split up groups and instill suspicion in as many people as possible. People who get chummy end up dead, that was his though process. From the start he was trying to end the killing game. And during chapter 6 we find that he wasn’t wrong. Tsumugi framed Kaede for the murder of Rantaro Amami. 1) Because Rantaro was about to uncover a secret. And 2) Because Kaede being the blackened would instill such scintillating despair. When you’re the central figure you become a target to break the group apart. Fast forward to chapter 4 and this is where I find a lot of people started to hate Kokichi. The sacrifice of Gonta Gokuhara was cruel but I don’t think it’s really all the justifiable of a reason to hate Kokichi. He was just doing all he could to survive. If you think he could’ve found some other way allow me to prove you wrong. Kokichi found out pretty early that Miu was planning his murder. He also knew that Miu probably had some surefire way to kill him. She’d rewritten the Neo World Program after all. Miu had mentally backed Kokichi into a corner (completely on accident) before she physically backed him into one. Now I ask you, how could Kokichi have handled this? Option A) Die. No. Option B) Kill Miu himself. Avatar restrictions, this was cleared up in the trial. And even if he didn’t use the toilet paper what in the world could he have used. Huh? Miu got rid of all potentially weapon-like objects except for the hammer. Option C) Outsource. Bingo, now who could Kokichi get to kill Miu? Oh yeah that’s right, most of the cast hates him and thinks he’s a liar. Except of course for the pure soul Gonta Gokuhara. Gonta’s a man who believes in second chances. And third chances. And fourth ones. and so on and so forth. So Gonta believes that Miu’s trying to kill Kokichi and Kokichi decides to use the secret of the outside world to convince Gonta. Kokichi was just doing all he could to survive, nothing more, nothing less. Also if you think Kokichi felt zero compassion towards Gonta I believe you’re wrong. Even a compulsive liar who’s trying his best to distance himself will start liking someone who’s persistent enough in becoming their friend. You’ll notice that after the murder happens Kokichi insults Gonta constantly. He digs into him more than usual. He’s trying to distance himself from Gonta. Trying to make Gonta hate him so he’ll feel less horrible about what he’d done. He’s under a lot of emotional strain due to everything happening. And then Shuichi commits a Perjury against him. Shuichi, Mr. White Knight, Mr. Protagonist, Mr. You shouldn’t lie even if it’s for the greater good. Kokichi even says at one point that some lies are better than the truth to Shuichi. But he completely rejects the philosophy and keeps seeking the truth. And yet he lies to Kokichi. To try and prove Gonta innocent. Imagine that. Imagine being told that your way of life is wrong only to have that fucking hypocrite throw your way at life back in your face. I don’t know about you but I’d snap. And Kokichi sure as hell did. He decided he couldn’t fucking be in that Trial Ground anymore. He was surrounded by enemies and hypocrites and on top of that he was about to lose the only thing resembling a friend he had in this game. The only thing he could do at that point is speed up the trial. So he exposed the culprit. The whole while he’s yelling and screaming at Gonta. Trying to further distance himself from him. The trial ends and the verdict is reached. Kokichi is barely keeping his composure. He just wants the class trial to end quickly. But he has to keep his act up. Kokichi says the line “Then... can’t you accept everything about this case? You can imagine the rest right?” If that’s not pleading, begging them to hurry it up so he can leave and break down in his room I don’t know what is. But when all is said and done, Gonta forgives Kokichi and all his hard work to distance himself was immediately undone. I’m fairly certain that Kokichi’s lines and tears were genuine in chapter 4. Like seriously, looking back on it now there are so many unnatural pauses and out-of-place lines. Like Kokichi admitting he should’ve taken on the responsibility of killing Miu. It’s painfully clear he feels genuinely guilty. Kokichi even asks to be punished as well. I remember when I read that line the first time I thought “Oh christ he’s so full of shit.” But thinking of Kokichi less as a lie and more as a person I start to see that he really meant that. Generally towards the end of the game Kokichi’s actions start becoming less and less about deception. Or moreover. His emotions are getting to him. Causing him to have to struggle though keeping his face on and always greeting the day with a warm “It’s a lie!” Kokichi yells out to Gonta not to go, that he doesn’t want this. Then Punishment Time hits. Kokichi sees the closest thing he has to a friend die at the hands of Monokuma. He’s alone. Nobody trusts him, nobody likes him. He’s completely and utterly alone. Kokichi decides to take advantage of that. He sees a way to end the killing game. So he goes all out, he passes his tears off as fake crying and saying he never cared about Gonta he decides to make his final move. He reveals himself as the mastermind. With the mastermind being known to everyone what point is there in continuing the game. Stacked on top of the fact that the “outside world” has been completely destroyed the remaining characters fall into despair. Except for Maki and Kaito of course. Kokichi figures he’s got a leg up. A weak leg at that, but a leg nonetheless. And he decides to make one final finishing blow. Then chapter 5 happens. Ultimately Kokichi’s death was a sacrifice for the greater good. If Monokuma couldn’t pass a fair judgement the game couldn’t continue, and the remaining people would be saved. Ngl if that plan worked Tsumugi probably would’ve gotten the ball rolling again but still Kokichi sacrificed himself for everyone else. He sacrificed himself so that he could finally have a chance at ending the killing game. Plus, his death was probably super therapeutic for him, considering the guilt he was carrying on his shoulders.
In summary. Kokichi’s an lying asshole but he’s human too. He’s not insane like Syo or Nagito or Korekiyo. He’s just a dude doing his best to survive the only way he knows how. His ultimate goal was always to end the killing game. He may not have liked many of the other participants but that doesn’t mean he wanted them to die. Sure the deaths technically worked in his favor because less people meant less likelihood of a murder and less likelihood for them to regain hope. But I’m sure he would’ve done it after the first trial if he could. But people kept dying and he kept having to hold his mastermind plan for later and instead lay more little bread crumbs for everyone else to think he might be the mastermind. So ultimately please don’t hate Kokichi. Thank you for coming to my TED talk

A scavenger hunt?
Kinda feels like that’s what we’re doing.
*Shuichi’s phone buzzes*
Saihara-kun! Good news! We found Ouma-kun and Shimizu-chan!
Good to hear! We’re on our way to see Gokuhara-san now, so hopefully we won’t be too long.
According to Kirigiri-san’s map, I think the next closest one to you is Amami-san.
Gotcha. We’ll update as soon as we can. Good luck out there, you guys.
Thanks.
*The group stands outside a mansion surrounded by a heavily fortified wall, with obvious gun emplacements, electrified barbed wire, and motion sensors*
Hell of a security system they got out here.
Should we try ringing the bell...?
I’ll see if I can get response.
Be careful!
*Shuichi steps up to the gate. Several of the cameras and turrets focus on him. A female voice comes over a loudspeaker*
???: You’re trespassing on private property. Leave immediately, or we’ll be forced to use deadly force.
My name is Saihara Shuichi. I need to speak to Gonta.
???: You...you’re one of the members of Project Gofer, aren’t you?
I...n-not officially anymore, but it’s what we need to speak with him about, if we can. I have two other people with me and we’re sitting out the open right now.
*The intercom is silent for a moment, then the gate slides open*
???: Please hurry. We‘ve had problems with looters.
________________________________________________
*The inside of the Gokuhara residence is, despite the shielding on the windows and doors and the lack of electricity, quite comfortable. Most of the room is lit with candles. A few wireless devices are still active. Waiting for them is an older man in a brown suit with gray hair and a thick goatee.*
Mr. Gokuhara: Welcome. I trust you’ve come here in peace?
Of course. W-we have weapons, but we’re just trying to be safe.
You Gokuhara’s dad?
Mr. Gokuhara: I am. Gokuhara Izuku. I’m...I was an investor and aspiring entrepreneur. My wife and Gonta are in the dining room.
Is it just the three of you here?
Mr. Gokuhara: We...most of our servants returned to their families. The rest...did not survive. God rest their souls. For the last few weeks, it has been just the three of us here.
Sorry to hear about that.
Mr. Gokuhara: It’s just as well. I only hope the ones who left returned home safely. What about you all?
I...said goodbye to my mommy yesterday...
My husband Taka. He’s...all I got left, I think. If we’re lucky, our son made to a bunker.
My family’s scattered all over, but we’re trying to bring everyone together.
Mr. Gokuhara: For the project, correct?
Y-yeah...how’d you know?
Mr. Gokuhara: Dear boy, I was one of their investors. How do you think I guaranteed my son a place on that ship?
I was wondering about that...Gonta-kun said he was raised by wolves.
*Mr. Gokuhara stops abruptly*
Mr. Gokuhara: He...he was. For a time, at least. We thought he’d disappeared for over a decade, only to find he’d been surviving in the forest with those...those beasts. By the time he was returned to us, he was practically a feral.
But you brought him back?
Mr. Gokuhara: We hired the best psychologists we could find to help reintegrate with him society, to be a proper gentleman...but he was still obsessed with insects. With animals. With environmentalism.
Sounds like he wanted to follow his dreams...
Mr. Gokuhara: We eventually conceded, and Gonta was granted the title of Ultimate Entomologist. And he did so much great work.
He’s been a great friend for us too.
Mr. Gokuhara: And I ask that you take him with you, when you leave this planet.
*The group finally arrives at a large dining hall lit by candles, where Gonta and his mother sit beside a holographic projector. On it are images of violence, riots, cities burning and people looting whatever they can.*
It look very bad...
Mr. Gokuhara: It’s okay, sweetheart. We‘re safe in here.
Gonta-kun!
*Himiko’s voice echoes across the empty room*
Huh?!
Yumeno-san! Saihara-san! You okay!
Gonta so happy to see you!
*He gets up and hugs the two of them quite tightly*
G-good to see y-you...too...
C-can’t...breathe...
Mr. Gokuhara: So you’re the ones I saw out there. Nice to meet you all.
What you doing here? Are others here too?
No, it’s just us for now. We n-need to talk to you about something.
Mr. Gokuhara: They’re here to take you back with them. To get you off this planet.
Huh? But...Gonta no can leave you!
Mrs. Gokuhara: Gonta, sweetie...we don’t want you to go either. This isn’t an easy decision for any of us, but if it comes down to either your survival or our survival, we’re choosing you.
Mr. Gokuhara: You need to leave, son. Go out there. These people need you.
But...but Gonta not want to! Gonta...G-Gonta not-
Gonta not want you to die!
*Gonta hugs his parents*
Mr. Gokuhara: I know, son. I know. But unfortunately, that’s not a choice you can make. Look at me, I’m already gray. You’re still young.
Mrs. Gokuhara: You’re tall, strong, smart, and just the right person these people will need to make whatever world you land on a better place. Nobody else I know cares so deeply for the environment than you.

Gonta...not know.
Gonta-kun, if you want some time to think, we can-

The Moonlit Prince and the Lying Thief (Part 4)
@oumasaiweek I’m a day late I’m so sorry! I couldn’t finish this chapter on time yesterday I got burnt out and it hit like 3am and I was dying inside. I’ll try my best to keep the daily schedule from here on out though!
But Happy birthday Ouma! This is the fourth entry in a series. If you’re interested, go on my blog and check the tag v3 tangled AU. Thanks!
“I have so many regrets,” Shuuichi groans, voice muffled. His face is starting to hurt a little from the way he flopped right on top of a hedge, leaves and twigs poking and digging into his cheeks, but the darkness the bush provides matches his emotional state, so he stays. If Tsumugi ever found out about this she would be so hurt. He’d never earn her trust back. She’d probably punish him for years, and he’d deserve it. “Why did I do this.”
“Beats me.” Doukeshi leans on a nearby tree, tossing a grey stone up and down. At this rate this side-quest of his will be over sooner than he thought. “Guess you can’t handle this after all, huh?”
“I can do it!” Shuuichi jumps back up, determination in his stance. “It’ll be fine! She’ll just never find out!”
“She?”
“My aunt.” And with that Shuuichi whines again, and falls back to sitting on the floor. “She’ll totally find out…” He’s in so much trouble if he does this. If he goes back right now, he can probably dodge it, right? He’ll tell her he jumped out the window, regretted it, and ran right back in. Does he leave the thief part in?
“You could just lie.” Doukeshi points out. Lying has gotten him out of so many conundrums. There seems to be just a whole lot of backstory here, and while he’s curious, he’s not planning on diving into it. He just wants to get this over with as soon as possible, so he can go home.
“I can’t just lie to her! She’d find me out, and it’d be wrong.” Never mind that Shuuichi is a poor liar, but to betray and then deceive her? No, absolutely not. He needs to just tell the truth, and go back, and this whole thing was a mistake. “I’m going back.”
“Suit yourself.” Doukeshi keeps tossing that rock, staring blankly up at the sky. “Toss me my satchel while you’re up there, will ya?”
“No!” At that, Shuuichi bolts up, and starts marching away from the tower. “We’re not doing that. I’m—I’m going to see those lanterns. You’re not getting out of it that easily.”
“Okay~” Tossing the rock aside, Doukeshi strolls along behind him. He doesn’t point out that this is the wrong direction, just watches as Shuuichi walks several more feet and abruptly stopping.
“I don’t know which way we’re supposed to go,” Shuuichi says, and Doukeshi can’t stifle his snorting, which earns him an embarrassed glare. “Very funny. Lead the way.”
“As you wish, detective-chan.”
They don’t get very far, maybe another few feet, before something rustles nearby. “What was that?” Shuuichi asks, eyes darting around before landing on the bush up ahead.
“I dunno.” Doukeshi shrugs. “Bandits?”
“Bandits?!” The rustling continues. Frying pan armed in sweaty hands, he freezes, eyes glued to the bush.
“Thugs?” Realizing that Shuuichi stopped moving, Doukeshi turns around.
“Thugs?!” Shuuichi takes a small step backward, eyes never leaving the bush.
“Axe murderers?”
“Mur—murderers?”
Something jumps out of the bush, and Shuuichi finds himself hovering behind the thief. After a few seconds, he peers over Doukeshi’s smaller, vest clad shoulder, to see—“It’s just a rabbit.” Small, and furry, and brown. Oh. That…that’s perfectly normal and harmless. He puts the frying pan away.
“You do know we’re outside, right?” Doukeshi asks, glancing behind him, and they both resume walking. “Maybe you can’t handle this.”
“I’ll be fine!” Of course, he knows that. He knows about animals too, but there’s so many other things out here besides just those. Even so, “It was just because you scared me.”
“Nishishi~ Sorry! I can’t help myself!” So Shuuichi is easily scared, huh? Maybe that works in his favor. They only just started but it might be time for a small detour. “Hey, you hungry? Cause I seriously need something to eat!”
“Um, sure.” Beyond the cave, there’s a seemingly endless array of trees. Every tree passed takes Shuuichi one step closer to his dream.
Tsumugi stops in her tracks, scanning the forest for the seventh time in the past half hour. There’s something off about these woods. She’s never been truly alone here—there’s that tavern on the way to town, and there’s always been the occasional child playing dangerous games—but there’s too many people out today. What happened?
The sound of hooves galloping across dirt approaches from behind, and on instinct she hides behind a large maple tree. Citizen? Or worse? A black mare flies past her. Tsumugi only manages to get a brief glimpse at the woman riding it, but the shining chestplate tells all. “No.”
What is a royal guard doing out this deep in her woods? The crown was stolen by someone, but if they’re this far in, they might find him! The trees blur together as she tears through the woods, knocking aside any stray branches or vines in her way. She has to go back. She has to go back!
There it is. The tower. “Shuuichi?” No response. “Shuuichi, let down your hair!” Still nothing. Where is he? Did they find him? She needs to get inside now. Wrenching away at the stones that make up the backside of the tower reveals a hidden stairwell. As soon as there’s enough space for her to crawl through, she does, sprinting up the stairs.
But there’s no one in the main room. “Shuuichi?” And there’s no one in his room. “This just plain isn’t funny!” And there’s no one in her room. No matter where she looks, there’s no sign of silver anywhere in the dark tower. She’s alone.
The noon sun shines through the window, and something shimmers under the stairs to her missing “nephew’s” room. What is that? Pulling the stair reveals a bag containing the stolen crown. But that’s not all. Slowly, Tsumugi pulls out a mask, black and red and resembling a joker’s hat. So Doukeshi took Shuuichi away.
Opening a nearby drawer reveals a glimmering dagger. She’ll find him. She’ll find them both.
“To your right, as previously stated, is more trees,” Shuuichi rolls his eyes as Doukeshi narrates their same-y surroundings. He’s been doing this for at least 20 minutes now, for reasons Shuuichi can’t understand. “But to your left is, voila!” With a grand gesture, the thief showcases a quiet trail that leads to a small building. “Our destination, Saishuu Tavern.”
“Final Tavern…?” What an ominous name. “What happened to the other taverns?”
“Don’t worry about it.”
“Huh?” What does he mean by that? Did something happen? What could have possibly—“Are you messing with me again?”
“Nishishi~ You make it so easy.” Doukeshi pushes and holds the door open as Shuuichi makes a whining noise in response. “After you.”
“Thank…you…” Shuuichi trails off upon seeing the interior of the pub. It’s…a lot to process. There’s a hodgepodge of stuff furnishing the somewhat-circular room. Some of it is innocent (a portrait or two, a piano), some of it is strange (the steering wheel of a boat, a racket), and some of it…terrifying. The array of knives and spears, a taxidermy deer head, a guillotine, and god there are just so many people. All their eyes are on him. Shuuichi freezes in place.
Except they’re not on him, but on the purple vested man behind him. “Doesn’t that gremlin by the door look familiar to anyone?” Miu wipes her messy blond hair away from her goggles and squints.
“Hmm…Tenko agrees, but she just can’t quite place it,” says Tenko, walking up past Shuuichi to Doukeshi. He’s just glad a woman that buff doesn’t have those threatening eyes on him.
“Who, me? Nah, I’m no one,” Doukeshi waves her off, strolling into the tavern without worry. He takes a seat in a nearby rickety wooden chair. “Sides I think my partner here is the weirder one.”
And everyone is staring at Shuuichi. This time for real. Nobody says anything, they just look dumbstruck at the sheer amount of hair. Until Rantarou pipes up, pressing a finger to his lips revealing the anchor tattoo running down the length of his arm. “No, I know who that is. That’s that thief. Doukeshi.”
“With the hair?” Miu shouts.
“He’s talking about the short one,” says Ryouma who isn’t much taller than the wooden table he’s standing around.
“You don’t get to call me short, dwarf-chan!” Doukeshi pouts, folding his arms and turning away. He looks like a petulant child when he does this, but despite this, is entirely unconcerned about being called out. He’s been in worse situations.
“Nyehh, shouldn’t someone get the guards then?” Himiko says, uncaring that her cape and hat are getting in the way of her attempt to nap on the table.
“It would seem like a logical source of progression,” says Kirumi from behind the bar. Without even looking, she catches the empty glass sliding back her way in her gloved hands.
“I’ll go get them! They should still be nearby!” Kiibo jumps up, one leg made of metal.
“Um—” Shuuichi starts, but the boy is already out the door. Great. He just got here, and he’s already going to lose his guide.
“Heyyy, barmaid-chan, can you get me the most disgustingly sweet drink you have?” Doukeshi waves his arm from his corner table, but she just ignores him. Even better: the thief doesn’t care at all.
“Um, Doukeshi-san, maybe we should—”
“Relaaaax, Detective-chan. I’m not getting caught. ‘Sides,” Doukeshi looks around the room with an easy-going grin, and Shuuichi is once again reminded of the weaponry on the wall. What kind of place is this? Is he in danger? “Don’t you wanna take in the experience? This is a five-star joint!”
“Actually, I think I really don’t—”
“Excuse me,” blue eyes bore directly into Shuuichi’s own, cutting off his line of thought, “but Angie was wondering why you’re with a wanted thief?”
“Gonta wants to know that too.” Lumbering over from the back, Gonta stares curiously at Shuuichi’s hair. “Also, why do you have so much hair?”
“Is it not possible that this menace is one of the accomplices to the crime?” Tenko says.
Ryouma scans Shuuichi briefly, and says, “Doesn’t seem practical with this much hair.”
“Obviously it’s a fuckin’ wig,” Miu says. “They’re both just trying shitty disguises.”
“They definitely don’t make wigs that long…” Himiko mumbles.
“Even if they did, I heard there were two accomplices,” Rantarou says.
The debate goes on around Shuuichi, with numerous voices piping in with their theories or suspicions. He wants to take Doukeshi and leave, but the thief shows no sign of leaving, kicking his feet back on the table and even egging them on. Not helping! The room is stifling. It’s so hard to breathe. Why did he leave the tower? He wants to go home. This was a mistake. There are so many people, and they’re all getting closer, and arguing, and arguing, about him, and Doukeshi, and his hair, and him and him and him—
“Hey guys, maybe we should let him talk,” Kaede says. She gets up from her seat at the piano, and walks over to Shuuichi, who all this time was still paralyzed at the door. With a gentle smile, she asks, “What’s your name?”
Deep breaths. Shuuichi exhales, slow and long, before finally speaking up. “I’m um, Shuuichi. Just Shuuichi.”
“Shuuichi-kun then. Then you can call me Kaede.” Her voice is warm and reassuring, like Shuuichi always imagined his mother would be like. He nods. “Do you want to explain why you’re here?”
“Well…” How does he begin with this? Obviously, Shuuichi can’t say anything about the hair, but the rest? Can he tell them about the deal? Probably not. So all that’s left is his dream. Are they really going to accept something so simple? So childish? It’s worth a shot. “I wanted to see the lantern festival. I’ve never gone, well…anywhere, before, so I need him to take me.”
“And the hair?” Miu asks. Crap he’s not out of this after all. What does he say? Does he lie? Can he lie? Should he lie? The longer he stays silent, the more suspicious this looks. But he doesn’t know what to say! What should he do—?
“He’s going for a world record,” Doukeshi answers. He’s not looking at Miu, but Shuuichi, and winks. A rescue; thank god. “I want in on the cash prize, so I struck a deal with him.” It’s a lie, but it saved him. Shuuichi will have to thank him for that.
“Stealing the crown wasn’t enough?” Gonta exclaims.
“Is the lantern festival really that important to you?” Kirumi asks. Nobody says it, but the question is implied: is it worth getting tangled up with a thief for this?
But to Shuuichi, that’s something he doesn’t even have to think about. “Yes.” It’s resolute, something he hasn’t been since he arrived. Maybe even before that. “I’ve been dreaming about them my entire life, so now that I have that chance, I need to take it.” And maybe he’s working with a thief, but he thinks that Doukeshi isn’t all that evil. He didn’t have to help. In fact, he could have probably snuck out while they all focused on him, and ran back to the tower, but he stayed. He’s risked a lot just to be here.
But they’re going to turn him in if Kiibo gets back before they can leave. Shuuichi’s chance ends right here, unless he does something. He can’t let that happen. “So…I need you to let us leave.”
Doukeshi raises an eyebrow. Is he serious? Does he really think they’re just going to let him leave? Let Shuuichi go, maybe, but not him. Doukeshi is pretty sure he’s going to have to think fast to get out. Is he really that naïve?
“You can tell the guards where we went, if you want,” Shuuichi continues, looking around at the skeptical group, “I think that’s perfectly fair, but please just let us go. I’m sure all of you have dreams, right?”
“Oh? What makes you say that?” Angie asks, leaning over to the side. On her belt he can see a bunch of painting supplies.
“All of the stuff in the room,” Shuuichi explains. He’s been wondering about the eclectic collection this whole time. The knives, and spears, and taxidermy, all scream ‘thug bar’, and so do the tattoos some of the patrons have, but the other things? “Like Angie-san, you painted all the portraits hanging here, right?”
Angie lights up. “I did!”
“Kaede-san plays that piano.”
Kaede nods.
“And I think you—” Shuuichi points to the green-haired man.
“Amami Rantarou. You can call me Rantarou.”
“Rantarou-san’s a sailor. That wheel on the wall was your idea, right?”
One by one, Shuuichi wanders through the tavern, going through all the items in the room. He matches them from person to person, based on things they’re wearing, or things nearby where they were. Even for Kiibo, who is no longer in the room. And one by one, he captures the interests and names and hearts of every single person he figures out. He thought for sure that if Shuuichi came here, he’d be so overwhelmed he’d want to go back home, and yet. It’s kind of amazing, Doukeshi thinks, that someone so naïve is still so capable. Despite himself, he finds himself a little impressed.
“What about his dream?” Kaede asks, pointing to Doukeshi, and once again everyone’s attention is on him.
“Eh, don’t bother,” Doukeshi says, getting up from his seat. “It’s to be insanely rich so I can lord it over everyone else.” That’s a lie, of course, but nobody here needs to know that.
“That’s horrible,” Tenko says, and everyone nods in agreement, making their own judgmental remarks amongst themselves.
In that instant, the door bursts open, and Kiibo returns with around five or six guards. “I found them!”
And just as suddenly, he’s being grabbed, dragged behind the bar along with Shuuichi. He looks around bewildered, just in time to see Kirumi pull a lever, and the wooden floor beneath them lowers into a ramp, leading into a tunnel. An escape route. So all that touchy-feely stuff paid off. “Go. And don’t come back, or we’ll have to turn you in,” she says, with a stern gaze.
“Thank you, Kirumi-san.” Shuuichi bows a little from his spot on the floor. He didn’t think he’d be able to sway them, but he did. Somehow.
Her stern gaze turns soft, and she smiles at him. “Make your dream come true, Shuuichi-san. I hope it’s everything you’ve imagined.”
“Where is he?” Kaito is talking to the patrons about their disappeared thief while the other guards patrol outside, but they seem to be giving mixed stories. Maki tunes them out.
Those stories never mattered, because he definitely didn’t leave through the door. She has her own witness confirming it. So how did he escape? She’s examined every square inch of this room, but she doesn’t see that pesky thief at all. There has to be some trick. Going up to the bar, she runs her hands along the taps, until she finds one that moves. A lever. A yank, and the floor opens up to reveal a tunnel. “So that’s where he went. Momota. Get everyone. We’re leaving.”
“Harumaki—” But she’s already gone. Kaito sighs. “Fine, I’ll get them.”
Tsumugi watches from the window as Maki storms into the tunnel. It was quite easy to manipulate such an impulsive guard. She needs someone to catch that thief, after all, and dealing with a pest is their job. But she has to get to Shuuichi first, before they do.
He was traipsing around this tavern—carelessly—happily. She saw him. He had the audacity to betray her like this? Oh no. She’s not having that. He’ll have to be punished too.
“Oh, hello Miss.” She finds herself being addressed by a young boy with a metal leg. “Can I do anything for you?”
“You can actually,” Tsumugi replies with a plastic grin, before pointing the dagger right between his eyes. “Tell me where that tunnel lets out.”
Shuuichi will get his punishment, she just has to catch him first.

S/O bursting in to sing ‘All Star’ + V3 Boys
How would the V3 boys react to their s/o bursting into the room with All Star by Smash Mouth playing loudly?
(Edit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_jWHffIx5E
Somebody once told me the world is gonna roll me, cuz’ I ain’t the sharpest tool in the shed-!
This entire post? Amazing. Magnificent. I swear to god. Totally, not just memes.
Uh-Huh. This is the face of a truther, a person telling the complete and total truth. I wouldn’t lie to you!
-Mod Shuichi
Kiibo
Kiibo had currently just gotten maintenance so the two of you could finally hang out together! That’s what he expected for the two of you to do anyway, he wasn’t expecting any kind of devious plot.
You said you would come over to his place, and he had been looking at his systems very refreshed with how this exchange had went down...!
Then you came waltzing in, no not waltzing... it was much more than that, you had kicked down the door singing.
“sOMEBODY ONCE TOLD ME THE WORLD WAS GONNA ROLL ME.”
Kiibo was immensely frightened, he let out a loud gasp-scream before falling from where he was sitting and somehow managing to hit his head by banging against the floor.
That had caused you to scream back at him and rush towards his side, your actions had consequences.
Kiibo laid WASTED ™ for a minute and a half, his final words about how he forgave you... and then how you must teach him that song you went all the effort through to ‘seranade’ to him.
“It’s... my final request...”
“Kiibo you... just banged your head against the floor, you aren’t going to d-“
“My final request.”
“Okay then.”
You sat at your boyfriend’s side a mental note to never do that again, never again.
Well at least for as long as you can remember.
Shuichi Saihara
Shuichi Saihara? Jumpscares literally being the death of him? Why it’s more likely than you first thought!
But not likely enough, he was just reading one of his favorite novels as he waited for you to come back downstairs.
And you did.
“some.... BODY ONCE-!”
A song that he’s sworn come out from Kokichi Ouma’s mouth at least once or twice, yes he was surprised but he looked at you with more of a curious expression than anything...
You had to sing the entire song out in front of him, by the end of it he clapped at you with the most tiny smile, that adorable tiny smile that made people weep. “That was lovely... I got to hear your performance all for myself...”
“... E-Eh? Oh... uh... y-yeah I guess!”
After that day bursting into the room with random acts of music had become more daily.
Ryoma Hoshi
Ryoma has a complete poker face, nothing can or has broken it before unless you count those rare moments that you had gotten him to flash a grin or embarrassed him enough for him to let out at least one flushed reply.
And recently he was becoming more social with everybody else, which was a miracle in your eyes it didn’t matter much to him. Or so he says.
He was just eating breakfast, he hadn’t honestly expected this kind of thing from you, at least not during breakfast.
By ‘this kind of thing’, you know I mean the door bursting down with a simple shove and your voice singing an oddly familiar song from his stay in America.
”S O M E B O D Y ONCE-“
Do you know the best part of all of this? He was stifling a laugh, yes you randomly bursting in to musical dance to introduce yourself had gotten him to stifle a laugh.
Very proud of yourself at the end of it you walked to his side offering a playful smirk.
“Heeeeey~? If singing really weird songs gets you to flash a grin I can do it some more after this.”
He covered his mouth sheepishly looking away for a second or so, before sighing.
“Guess you could, uh... it’d be nice to... hear yer’ singin’ voice again, I guess.
That small declaration had caused your heart to do loops, and you immediately hugged him declaring to the world- about you have the most adorable damn boyfriend EVER.
His nonconsistent stuttering with him asking you to let go at first was absolutely priceless, moments which you wouldn’t trade for the world.
Kaito Momota
Did you underestimate Kaito Momota? Really? Foolish mortal... he loves and supports you, with all his damn heart!
Kaito was just in the middle of studying for some stupid test he already understood- ‘well enough’, so any distraction was perfect.
So when you came in with the promise of snacks, and you truly were just there to kick down the door and sing to him...
He would applaud you throughout it, you fool. You absolute fool.
“That’s the light of my life! You go babe! Yer’ doin’ absolutely damn great, I loooooove yooou!”
“Really yer’ singing is astronomical! Really just stellar! You got this!”
By the first line of dialogue it had become awkward for you, the tables had turned, the ‘no you!’ had been dealt, and you hadn’t even had a reverse card to play at him.
How come you didn’t think this through? How could you just didn’t think this through...?
You naive fool.
You... have never felt this level of pure shame before, Kaito came up to you whistling with a handful full of compliments for your singing-voice, mostly star-themed , before kissing you- straight on the lips.
“You should sing more! Heh, I’m the luckiest guy in the universe to have you walk into my galaxy...”
Damn those space-themed pick-up lines!
Mission failed. We’ll get em’ next time.
Rantaro Amami
He wanted a sandwich, that’s it. You offered sandwiches at your place so he went since he had nothing better to do, and he truly loved hanging around with the light of his life...
...
..
.
He was eating that sandwich when you came in, after breaking down your own door for some ungodly reason. It was a good sandwich.
“sooooOOOMEBOOODY ONCE TOLD ME THE WORLD WAS GONNA ROLL ME.”
He dropped the sandwich, an accomplishment for the books was managing to surprise Rantaro Amami.
But really how could anyone not be surprised by that? Even then he kept a rather composed look on his face throughout the song, by the end of it he even clapped.
“... Aha... if... your going to sing for me, can you do it with asking me first?” He pointed at the newly-murdered sandwich which lay forgotten on the floor, it looked like a good sandwich.
“... Oh! Oh sorry, hadn’t even noticed! I’ll try to make sure the next time I sing it doesn’t include sandwich murder.”
“That’s all I ask.”
He smiles at you accepting the apology, he picks himself up to make the two of you lunch! Why... what an interesting day today is.
Gonta Gokuhara
Gonta doesn’t understand why you had called him saying to prepare for you to come into his room with... an oddly Kokichi-esque smile on your face, but Gonta has trusted you! What had he not to trust?
He was currently in front of the door, he left it open so you would have an easy time to walk in, of course.
Although... things got really confusing for Gonta when the door opened with a loud [SMACK] and you began to... say strange words to him?
“SOMEBODY ONCE TOLD ME THE WORLD WAS GONNA ROLL ME-!”
“... S/O? Who told you the world was going to roll you, what does that mean? Gonta’s very confused!”
“E-Eh? Wait what?”
You stopped in your tracks, taking off some oddly fashionable sunglasses off your face for this very occasion. “Gonta I’m singing, I... nobody actually said that to me.”
“Oh! Why... Why are you suddenly singing?”
“...”
“Because...? Um... well, wait let me think of why... uh...”
“... I wanted to be spontaneous? I didn’t think we’d... stop... well... aaah...”
“...”
“Oh! Okay! You can continue, Gonta doesn’t mind.”
...
You... sang the song with a sheepish tone stuttering here and there, sometimes getting quieter as a mouse, how could anyone sing without embarrassment after that interaction after the first line of the song...?
Kokichi Ouma
Never. Ever. Sing this song in front of him, ever again. Take mental note of it, write it down, engrain it into your arm as a damn tattoo.
Just never, ever again.
You had planned to make up for the time he ran into your bedroom, after lock picking it just to sing to you. You had to get a new lock, every damn TIME.
So you had planned your revenge, while a better revenge be forcing him to pay you back for all the locks that he had used, you had planned to sing to HIM for once after breaking his door down.
...
And you did, with a loud smack reverberating across the room he seemed to be sitting in a chair turned away from you, why he didn’t react right away remaining a mystery.
So you kept going. “some...BODY ONCE TOLD ME-“
“The world was gonna roll me... I ain’t the toughest tool in the shed!” A voice other than Kokichi’s greeted you...
Nani?! You felt yourself stop, as Kokichi spun his chair around to greet you a grin wider than you had ever seen before vibrant on his features.
“... You...” You froze in horror.
He held a laptop with many stickers slapped across it right in his grubby little hands, Youtube was opened up and the video was playing in the backround, ‘All Stars’ he had predicted this but... how?! “S/O... you thought we were playing checkers did you?”
“We’re playing a game of chess, or as in just don’t keep a calendar with all your evil plans marked on it babe.”
“N... No...! NOOOO!” You lay defeated, your plan went to waste.
Kokichi’s bubbly laughter and ‘All Star’ in the distance to remind you of your failures.
While that doesn’t... actually sound bad, what was bad is the fact he actually made you pay for the broken lock he owned.
Korekiyo Shinguuji
Korekiyo Shinguuji... finds all parts of humanity from the biggest parts to the smallest parts of culture to be incredible, remarkable infact!
And he’s put a great deal of study into music as well, as most of it can be rekinded to most modern craft nowadays.
While he was putting research into more folklore he had recently discovered, you said you would be: ‘coming by UwU’ while he didn’t understand why you added the UwU something had felt unordinarily shifty.
His suspicions were confirmed when you slammed the door open by shoving into it, earning a shocked gasp from Korekiyo before you actually broke out into musical song.
[You likely know how the first line of the song goes by now, at this point right? You gotta.]
When your finished your surprised to see your boyfriend... well not really, he’s questioning why you broke down the door.
“S/O... had you wanted to sing, did you truly have to do it so unexpectably?”
And more importantly why you sang... ahem, this is completely taken from the wiki: “All Star" a song by American rock band Smash Mouth. It was released on May 4, 1999, as the second single from their album Astro Lounge and it is one of the group's most successful songs, peaking at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100.”
Interesting facts of the day! He’s glad you didn’t break down his lock...

I know you posted a while ago about how Shuichi never gives Kokichi a chance and just writes him off, but I do understand him (Shuichi), maybe because I also have anxiety, but I know people who act like Kokichi does in real life, and while they seem cool in fiction, they’re toxic, tiring, and frustrating to be around in real life, especially for someone with major anxiety. Just food for thought.
Haha, I only just made that post the other day. It’s not like I wasn’t expecting this sort of response. Though I’m afraid the specific food you are feeding to me isn’t something I haven’t already considered numerous times before. Given how the narrative has played out, of course people who’ve played V3 would think the same way about both characters initially.
Saihara = Every man/Sensitive Cinnamonroll.
Ouma = Complex individual/Troublemaking D-bag.
Both of them just seem to fall on either one of the two categories by the majority of the fandom.
But y’see, what you’ve just said about one character being too toxic to be around and one being the anxiety baby is exactly what’s seriously wrong with how the story is woven. I have an issue with Saihara because he’s portrayed as a sensitive kind soul that has anxiety and depression. And it’s due to those aspects of his character, the characters and the narrative itself are just using that as an excuse to make you overlook his major faults. And the worst fault of his is… he just sucks as a detective, no matter how you look at it. All that talk about him being scared of revealing the truth and all the crying he does, is nothing but pathos when you look back on it. Pathos that make you go “Oh well, what happened to Kaede wasn’t his fault.”,…except that it totally was his fault in the end. At least 50% of it was. And it still baffles me to this day how blasé Saihara’s reaction was when finding out that Kaede was not Rantaro’s killer. For a guy that was sunken deep into his own insecurities and depression in Chapter 2, and how personally worried he was about whether or not he could’ve done something to save Kaede, he didn’t take that discovery as hard as one would think.
Anyone in his shoes would be all like, “OH GOD, HOW COULD I BE SO STUPID! I SCREWED UP! I SCREWED UP BAD-”… but no. Instead he’s like “HERE I COME TO SAVE THE DAY” and put ALL of the blame onto Monokuma and the game itself. Like,… how? This isn’t something that you just … get over instantly. And before you claim it as part of Kaito’s training or whatever, this sort of discovery would be DEVASTATING for a detective and as someone who supposedly cared for Kaede as much as he did. And yet Saihara didn’t even take a second to self-reflect on this or even go “I screwed up… but I’ll make it right”. NOPE. All on Monokuma.
That seems a bit too heavily inconsistent, seeing as we were already aware of his own personal values, his attachment to Kaede and his worst fears when playing as him.
Look, I have issues too, but using that as a means to overlook your own hypocrisy, selective-ness and your inability to take charge by yourself is just wrong. And yet, that’s all Saihara’s been doing.
But before I get too deep into the subject of empathy between player and characters, I think the most important thing to take into account when analyzing DRV3 is that you have to separate your own personal feelings from the game and actually *see* how the personalities and behavior patterns of Ouma and Saihara pertain to the story as a whole.
Let’s start by using the near end of Chapter 1 for example.
When Kaede was voted as the killer, Saihara went against his detective work in finding the mastermind and told everyone that “there was no mastermind”. Which is dumb. Whether the mastermind was actually related to the hidden room or not was yet to be determined, because they never actually went inside the door and find out what the purpose for it was. The door exists for a reason, but the mystery behind it was put on the back burner because of Saihara’s painful trauma over Kaede. Because of HIS pain, he decided from then onwards not to check the hidden door again. 9 dead students later, Kiibo went full war-mode and blew up the entrance and DA-DA-DAAAA! THE HIDDEN ROOM APPARENTLY HAD A PURPOSE AFTER ALL. Go figure, right?
Do you see the issue in only focusing on the protagonist’s emotions and nothing else? Because the game was clearly going for the “weak-boy-becomes-strong” character arc and had constantly reminded us of how insecure he feels, we were compelled to only listen to his inner turmoil and ignore the fact that he’s not doing anything useful in his freetime until someone gets killed. And when we’re not too busy on focusing on Saihara’s pain, we’d be focusing on Himiko’s. And if not Himiko, we put the focus onto Maki. Those who didn’t get enough attention just didn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell to survive V3.
The fact of the matter is, V3 was heavily centered on the emotions of the three survivors than anything else. And because of that, we were forced to look at certain characters (such as Ouma and Angie) that even *dared* to actually put effort into stopping the killing game as the problematic troublemakers while the supposed good guys just get away with doing nothing to help the situation themselves until the finale.
You know who didn’t give up on the idea that there was a mastermind after Chapter 1?
That’s right. Not Saihara. Ouma. As I’ve said before, Ouma knew full well that the mastermind was monitoring them and also knew that there was a traitor within the group. It’s not that he’s a paranoid boy who couldn’t trust anyone, it’s because he’s incredibly cautious and has adapted to dangerous circumstances like the killing game before and knew how to avoid trouble. (Say it with me now, HE. IS. NOT. A. CLOWN. OR. PRANKSTER)
You say that Ouma was too toxic to be around Saihara, but Saihara didn’t have any issue hanging around Maki at all. The chick who promised not to kill anymore, but was still insulting Saihara a lot. She then broke her promise by going behind everyone’s back to kill Ouma, only to have that plan backfire badly, berated Saihara while secretly planned to sacrifice him and the rest of the class to get her payback against Ouma. Even after all of that, Saihara forgave her, ignored all the backstabbing she did and still saw her as a friend. That’s just… wow.
So why is Ouma a jerk, you wonder? Because when Ouma was saying that he wants to ENJOY the game, it’s because behaving like a twisted sicko would get you far in this twisted, sick game. Getting too buddy buddy and acting like you want to stop the game for even a moment would prove to be hazardous to your safety.
If the incident with Kaede has proven anything, being openly defiant against the game and acting self-righteous in front Monokuma would only paint you as a nuisance, thus making you a target. That’s why in Chapter 5, he told Kaito he had to *lie* to himself that he enjoys the game, so the person behind Monokuma wouldn’t kill him. And it’s not enough to just play it up in front of the Nanokumas, he had to be consistently twisted and evil so nobody would catch wind of it. And he had to be selective in finding allies, such as Gonta and Miu, because those two were the most valuable people within the group that wouldn’t carelessly disregard everything he says.
I think I’ve explained enough. I dragged this longer than necessary. I’ve explained how Saihara and Ouma’s behaviors have impacted the story. I hope this answer will suffice. Having to get too sucked into the emotions of the survivors can be fatal when not paying attention to the other elements of the story.

Hiya! What about the boys with an online friend/crush/s.o. who suddenly stops talking and just dissapears for around a month before coming back and admitting that they had tried to commit suicide? (Sorry for such a dark topic aha,,)
Ah, how I love this prompt! I put my all into it, so I apologise if it’s a little long, heh. Although I’m not sure what you meant by ‘the boys’, I’m assuming the V3 boys. If you wanted a different cast, please feel free to request again and I will rewrite it for you. Apologies.
Ask is under the cut, due to being long and potentially triggering. Dark topics, reader beware.
Saihara Shuuichi✎
He didn’t usually go on the internet.
It was strange, why did these people all talk like they knew each other?
Of course, some may actually be planning to meet but… he found it all a bit surreal.
Then, you contacted him.
He was very wary at first, he knew you could be anyone.
Then, you started getting closer and he started trusting you.
Then, it got to the point where you were FaceTiming almost daily.
You were the only person that made him laugh every day and feel happy being himself.
Then, you stopped existing in his life.
He kept messaging, calling… messaging again, calling again.
Always, ALWAYS the beep and the voicemail.
A response text never came.
You never came online.
Though what he found odd was that you hadn’t blocked him.
He was starting to become desperate and that’s when he realised he had a crush on you and boy, what a bad time to realise.
That only made it hurt more.
Then, he saw you typing one day.
He’d almost forgotten about you, it had been 3 weeks since your last message.
You stop typing and just before he gives up hope, you video call him.
You’re… in a hospital?
He’s crying and he doesn’t know why.
He cannot stop crying.
You’re crying too and people are crowding around you, asking why.
Then he realises… you’re in hospital.
The absence, the lack of communication… the hospital… people asking why you were upset… your expression.
You had… you had tried, hadn’t you?!
He could ALWAYS tell there was something else to you.
Occasionally, you would just… show signs.
He hangs up the call, texts ‘I’m coming’.
Within the next day, he’s there with you.
Amami Rantaro❂
He is kind of a very big deal on the internet.
After all, he has an Instagram account that is often mistaken for a modelling account.
He often has business offers because of how attractive he is and he always has to explain ….. that he’s not a professional model???
One day, he got a completely normal PM from you.
You were absolutely stunning.
WAY better looking than him.
He IMMEDIATELY asked if you were getting the pesky PMS from businesses too.
He was surprised when you said no, you had never heard of such a thing.
How??
You’re actually the best-looking person he’s ever seen?
He has full trust in you immediately.
You talk for a few weeks, constantly.
It’s always you, he ignores all the other messages.
You’ve helped him grow as a person.
But then you’re gone.
It’s been weeks.
Nearly a month, actually.
He’s gone back to being a lot more… boring.
He was extravagant before but now…
But now, he’s just back to normal.
He’s stopped posting.
If you can’t see it, there’s nobody else he cares enough about…
Then, you message him again!
You say that things happened and you… may or may not have tried to kill yourself.
He’s shocked, why would YOU of all people?
You were a literal ray of sunshine…
He does his best to help but he can’t help the hurt.
Kiibo✪
He… does not know what he’s doing.
All the buttons don’t make sense and websites keep asking him to ‘prove he’s not a robot’.
He’s honestly a little offended.
When he visits websites, he does NOT sign up for them to instantly be shamed.
He thinks there should be more robot pride around the internet…
So, he just resorts to posting a message saying…
“Could somebody please help with the internet, I do not understand anything.”
So, you DM him, complimenting his ‘shitpost’.
He gets a little bit huffy at this.
“Are you saying my post is bad? I genuinely do not understand… are you robophobic?”
You’re a bit concerned.
Is this person you’re talking to actually okay-
Are they robotkin or-
You ask him to send a picture of himself, just casually.
He doesn’t find it strange, so he does.
He’s… holy shit.
He’s a robot.
You’re so excited and start asking a million questions, not realising you’re offending him.
Then, a beautiful friendship starts… and then more.
Kiibo makes an awful attempt at asking you out.
He says that a long distance relationship would a struggle, but he’s a robot so he can deal with it!
You say yes, and that’s the last time you log in.
He’s always checking on you, thinking you’ve ditched him because he’s a robot.
He accepts it eventually and forgets about you.
When you come back online and tell him what had happened, he’s shocked.
So that’s why…
He tries to comfort you in any way possible and ends up asking his professor to let him see you.
The professor pays for your tickets and gets you down to him as soon as possible.
You’re overjoyed and the happiest you’d been for years.
Kaito Momota✯
You had met on Tumblr.
Kaito had a space blog and one day, you messaged him saying you loved the content.
You started talking more from there, though it annoyed you how OBSESSED with space he was.
You started to like him and then, you asked him out.
Then, you two gained a reputation around Tumblr.
The LITERAL star-crossed lovers.
Actually star-crossed because you know, space blog.
Then, you change your blogs to match each other.
It’s the sappiest thing ever but it’s what happiness feels like.
Then, you end up getting too overexcited.
You accidentally tell your parents about dating Kaito and they treat you awfully for it.
They go on about online dating and its dangers for months and it makes you consider.
What if Kaito isn’t who he says he is?
Meanwhile, on his side, he has NO idea about any of this.
So when you mysteriously disappear, your entire fanbase and ESPECIALLY him are distraught.
Eventually, your fame falls dead but Kaito still remembers.
Then, one day you come back.
All the fame is gone, everything has mellowed down.
You explain everything to him and he feels awful for not realising, though he couldn’t have known.
Your Tumblr fame is never as big as it was before, but it comes back.
Though it’s less crazy this time and you’re content.
You two both love each other very much and that’s all that matters.
Gonta Gokuhara✿
How do use internet-
He’s very confused and doesn’t know where to BEGIN.
Though, he knows how to search on google.
First, he searches where he can talk to people about bugs.
He finds a chatroom for people who like bugs.
He is then SPAMMED with messages asking rather… inappropriate questions.
It was one of those sites, where anyone could message anything.
He then found a different website.
It was much better!
Good for a gentleman!
Then, he met you…
You were amazing!
You told Gonta everything he needed to know about the internet and listened to him when he ranted about bugs!
Though, you thought his caveman-esque speech was text talk…
Oh no, when you video called, you were a little thrown back by his voice.
AND his appearance.
You were expected a meek, nerdy bug boy.
Instead, you got an oddly handsome, muscular giant man.
So, he wasn’t mucking about with his speech then.
You ask why, a little insensitively, but you were confused.
He tells you his story and he’s honestly the coolest guy you’ve ever met.
Then, you’re gone after a few weeks of talking.
Gonta takes this the worst out of any of the guys…
He’s distraught.
He actually CRIES over this.
Real life tears… for hours.
Then, he kind of forgets about you, though he still hurts.
You were better than any real-life person Gonta had met and now you were gone.
Maybe, you didn’t like him… and nope, you’re back now.
You explain EVERYTHING, knowing Gonta wouldn’t guess by himself.
He’s shocked??
But then he starts breaking down, asking why, over and over.
Didn’t you want to live for him?
If not, BUGS, at least?!
Or just live for the sakes of living and finding a better way to live life??
You can’t get it through to him and contact gets less and less.
Then, you talk about monthly.
It’s still nice to talk to him occasionally, though…
It still hurts.
You’re both always crying over the same cause, yet you don’t know why.
Ouma Kokichi♕
Just about anyone can guess where you picked this one up.
Of course, on Reddit.
Why was he still on Reddit in this day and age?
“idk why i’m still here but boy i’m living it hmu with good shit”
Immediately, you thought he was a keeper.
Though, he pissed you off at times.
You find it amusing to imagine the number of people over on Tumblr have made callout posts on him.
Like actual legitimate ones.
You were a little shy to approach him at first…
He kinda seemed out of your league.
You know, the feeling when you want to fit in with someone who’s also a memelord, like you, but you feel like you’re too low-level meme for them?
Yeah, that kinda thing.
It took you weeks but you eventually hit send on that DM.
His first intention was to mess you up but then he kinda started to like you.
He opened up to you and you two switched from Reddit boards to Tumblr DMS and then to texting and FaceTiming.
It was like an actual relationship… but friends.
Then, he asked you out.
He meant it, too.
You said yes, thrilled to be going out with someone like him.
Automatically, your online reputation went to rock bottom.
People tried SO HARD to get you to break up with him.
Then one day, he called you, crying.
Not fake crying, like the usual, either.
Actually crying.
He’s sick of everyone wanting to ruin his life, he just likes having a bit of fun.
He says he wouldn’t be surprised if you left one day due to some ‘abuse’ callout post.
You try to comfort him but nothing works.
He mutters goodnight and then hangs up.
He doesn’t speak for months.
Then, you leave too.
He comes back and sees you’re gone.
Of course.. gone.
You come back a month later and you both admit the same thing.
You had both tried to commit suicide.
You don’t know how to comfort each other, so you just leave it.
You book some plane tickets and you take a picture and show him.
Now he’s crying again because he’s so happy.
He tries to cover it up by saying it was fake but you can tell, it wasn’t.
Hopefully.
Korekiyo Shinguuji✞
He’s on a literary site, of course.
Then, he contacts you.
He admires your work and he messages you, praising your work.
You’re thrilled, but you don’t personally talk for another few weeks.
Then, you suggest talking more.
He agrees, he was hoping you’d come forward anyway.
He tells you about his anthropology job and you admit that you don’t do anything.
It’s mostly small talk, but he develops feelings for you.
You’re such an elegant person, in the way you pen your work and in the way you converse with him.
You two have audio called a few times, your voice is deep, monotoned and has a slight… characteristic to it that he can’t put his finger on.
It’s kind of a snobby tone, but… not with snobby intent?
He talks to you more after those calls… he even tries opening up a little, though very vaguely.
It’s hard for him to talk to you openly.
You’re way above him.
He doesn’t even regularly release works.
It’s you he looks up to and he knows you see him as an underling.
You’re way more mature than he is, despite how he makes himself out to be.
You’re the wise one, he’s just… there.
He notices that you stop coming on one day.
Days pass, no sign.
So much for daily updates on your creations, hm?
Then weeks.
This is getting odd, maybe time to message you.
He asks if you’re alright, but again, subtly.
He does not want to seem clingy towards his literary elder.
Then… a month.
He’s really getting concerned now.
He starts letting loose a little bit.
He starts writing more, maybe in the hopes, you’ll come back.
Maybe it was his lack of work that drove you away from the site…
Perhaps you had moved sites.
He looked for you everywhere.
On every possible site, even the… lower class social media platforms.
No, nothing active.
A few accounts from years ago…
It was heartbreaking, actually.
Pictures of you as a child…
You always had this elegant aura about you… but before then, just a normal child.
Cute, innocent and wanting the most out of the world.
Tears…?
Yes, tears… they were there.
When you came back, he barely reacted.
You told him about everything but…
And, he wanted to be there for you in such a time of need….
But he was so numb.
Those he loved always left and let his emotions die out.
Then, he deactivated his account.
He never told you how he felt.
He didn’t care anyway…
Hoshi Ryoma☯
You two both meet on an anonymous chat site.
It’s short and simple.
You two become good friends over some time.
You always seem to find each other by asking ‘Is this S/O?’ or “Is this Hoshi?”
Then, you moved platforms.
Multiple times actually.
Many times.
As the internet kept updating, so did your contact.
Anon chats.
More anon chats.
Not-so anon chats.
Forums.
Facebook.
Kik.
Messenger.
Skype.
Discord.
Snapchat and Instagram.
You two talked all the time.
He vented to you, all the time.
You vented to him, all the time.
You relied on each other for emotional support and that was it…
But you didn’t feel the spark.
He had mentioned he wouldn’t mind dating you but… you didn't feel it.
Then, the talk of dating became more and he tried making moves on you…
Though, he swiftly apologised after each time.
He knew he wasn’t worth someone like you.
Then, you kind of doubted his identity.
He seemed too… desperate, for a depressive teenager.
Was he really one of those internet predators…?
You asked about it and he broke down.
He explained that life has been really bad and he isn’t sure how to handle everything.
He’s a little desperate for emotional support and you feel terrible.
When you say a little… you’re lying.
Then, you log off for the night.
The next night turns into a week…
then a month…. and you try to.
Real life things have gotten in the way… so you try to end it all.
Then, it fails.
You wake up.
You’re in the hospital.
So… it didn’t work.
Well, you might as well tell Ryoma… nothing left to do, anyway.
You came back to a message from, saying that he knew what you’d done and that he’d done the same.
Only he knew how to succeed.

Guys first night alone with the new baby?
Sure thing, hope you enjoy!
Korekiyo Shinguuji
when you leave for the night, you don’t know what you’re expecting.
the second you’re out the door he’s immediately stressed and has no idea what to do.
he has NO idea how to entertain babies, so he takes to just keeping it as safe as possible.
that is, until the baby gets a hold of his hair.
ninety percent of the night is spent attempting to untangle the baby, who actually seems to be enjoying this and is laughing hysterically.
he is much less amused, but at least the baby is happy??? ?
when you get home, Shinguuji is bent over a high chair with a hair-drowned baby in the seat.
you should probably untangle them...something tells you the baby won’t be able to sleep with Shinguuji looming eerily over their tiny sleeping form.
but the look on his face is priceless.
Rantarou Amami
he promises you that everything is going to be just fine! he wishes you a good night and escorts you out the door, promising all the way that he won’t take his eyes off the baby, even for a second!
the moment you’re out the door and down the street, he notices something.
the baby is gone.
he immediately panics, fully forgetting where he’s put it, going absolutely mad trying to find it.
it has to be here somewhere.
by the time you get home, he’s absolutely terrified, he can’t find the baby anywhere, he knows you’re going to freak.
he opens the door for you.
“You still haven’t put her to bed?! Look at her, she’s out cold!”
...
Amami looks down.
at the baby.
strapped to his chest in a front carrier.
............................
right. that’s where she was.
Ouma Kokichi
you already do not trust him with the baby even slightly.
it takes a LOT of convincing for you to believe that you can leave him home alone with the baby.
finally, you’re out the door, albeit nervous.
where Korekiyo lacks, Ouma excels.
the baby loves him.
he can pull a million funny faces, he knows how to make the baby laugh, making people laugh is his specialty!
the baby can barely get a breath in with how hard it’s laughing, so he decides to take a break and actually care for it, though he keeps it smiling throughout.
he gives it a little more dessert than intended, but that doesn’t matter so much.
fun dad!
he has a little too much fun, because the baby wears out quickly and so does he.
when you arrive home and nobody’s there to greet you at the door, the first thing you do is panic and run upstairs.
what you do expect to see is some kind of disaster.
what you don’t expect to see is Ouma in the crib, arm and legs hanging limply outside the walls of the crib, free arm draped across the baby sleeping on his chest.
you’re amazed that the baby can sleep over his snoring.
you decide not to wake them.
Shuuichi Saihara
he practically begs you not to leave him alone with the baby.
he has NO IDEA what he’s doing!
he’s never taken care of a baby on his own before! this is stressful!
but you’ve laid out every diet, every emergency number, every spare outfit he could possibly need, and you trust him.
as soon as you’re gone, he’s nervous.
he doesn’t know how to keep the baby happy.
he doesn’t know how to keep the baby safe.
he does his best, but anybody could tell the baby was sad, and anybody could tell what that meant.
the second the baby starts crying, Saihara SNAPS.
he’s coddling it, cooing over it, finding any way he can to get it to stop, but it just doesn’t.
it’s been crying for HOURS.
he doesn’t know what else to do, so here he is, sprawled out on the floor, the baby crying on his stomach.
he is staring at the ceiling.
saihara is a broken man.
next time, you guys just hire a babysitter.
Kaito Momota
one night, that’s all you asked.
one night for a business trip, you’d be back in the morning.
you were hesitant at first, but he promised you he could handle this, so you decided to trust him.
that was your first mistake.
when you got home, you had no idea what you were looking at.
ambulances, reporters, police, and...scientists?
your house was swarmed.
and in the middle of it, Kaito, looking dead at you, his face showing his emotions perfectly.
the emotions of “S/O is going to murder me in cold blood for this.”
you only have to listen to the crowd for a fleeting moment, and then you’re livid.
“How does it feel to know your child is the first baby astronaut?!”
“How did you make a rocket with just a blender and some car parts?!”
“How do you intend to get the child down?!”
“Is the rocket sustainable?!”
you’re boiling with rage as you storm through the crowd, and then, there’s panic.
you look up into the sky just in time to witness an explosion.
oh god.
oh god.
the crowd is panicked, it had to have been the rocket, it was definitely the rocket, the rocket Kaito had thought it a good idea to put your child in.
Kaito watches, his mouth hanging open.
something is falling.
the crowd is dead silent as the baby drops into Kaito’s arms, perfectly unscathed, fast asleep.
“Well! That’s that then! Safe and sound.”
he says it so casually.
what the fuck is your life.
you two are gonna have a LONG talk about blasting the baby into space without consulting each other.
Kiibo
although he’s EXTREMELY nervous, he promises he can handle this.
he’s extensively read every online manual for babysitting and childcare!
so when you leave, you trust that the baby is in good hands.
and actually, everything goes according to plan!
he takes perfect care of your new baby and keeps them moderately happy all night.
food is perfect, playtime is perfect, bedtime is perfect.
no struggle!
good job Kiibo!
Gonta Gokuhara
he’s admittedly worried about a couple of things.
what if the baby finds a bug of his and gets scared?
you promise him the baby is too young to wander off on their own.
what if he’s too scary for the baby?
you point out that the baby’s never had a problem with Gonta.
what if he’s too strong and accidentally hurts the baby?
you assure him he’s been nothing but gentle with the baby, through and through.
finally, he agrees to watch the baby for the night.
he’s not too bad at keeping the baby entertained, they like him a lot!
but he runs into some trouble making sure to do things on time.
late for dinner, late for bed, late for pretty much everything.
but really, other than that, there’s not a problem to be had!
good job Gonta!
Ryouma Hoshi
you really just need a night to relax, a night to go out and enjoy yourself.
you tell him that, and right away you can feel that you may not get it.
and then he outright refuses to watch the baby.
he doesn’t trust himself, not for a second.
you plead, and as much as he wants to please you, he just can’t.
he doesn’t trust himself.
he doesn’t trust his temper.
...he’s afraid.
you hire a babysitter for that night instead.

NDRV3 Guys as a yandere with a small, fragile S/O with they/them pronouns
Heyyy again! I’m here to bring an another imagine, also I’m tagging this as ‘yandere’ if you are uncomfortable with this stuff. This doesn’t have any extreme in it just implied murder I guess? Anywho just looking after you all, hope you enjoy! Also I haven’t done anything yandere related before so I apologize in advance ~Mod Kiibo
Shuuichi Saihara
~He is quite close to you when you hang out with other people either right next to you or near you close enough to keep his eyes on you
~If anyone gets too close to you, that's a warning. Once they get three warnings they disappear suddenly
~If a person hurts or even threatens you due to your small, fragile self, you would talk about it to him mostly because you trust him so much
~He sees that you are scared and you're shaking so he tells you to describe that person and you never see them again
~You spend a lot of time with him after some incidents since he is like the only one around, he hangs out with you in closed spaces aka his home or your home
~No one can touch his S/O ever again
~”They don't like to be touched, leave them alone.”
~He loves his small and ever so innocent S/O, they are his forever
Kokichi Ouma
~With friends he inserts that he's yours, he's not afraid to show that at all
~It didn't bother you since you thought it was normal honestly from his behavior and personality
~He’s constantly around you and watches you from a distance if he wasn't invited to be there
~He hates the fact that people hang around you, he gets all protective on everyone even if it's a simple handshake, nope you aren't allowed to do that to them
~”S/O can't have your affection
Only mine~!”
~oops
~Huh, It looks like people are too busy with something to hang out with S/O, oh well…
~That means more time to spend with Ouma!
~Strangely enough the other people who was in contact with you have also vanished as well
~Your fragile self can't handle this anymore, does this mean nobody wants to hang out with you?
~Feeling doubt you go to the only person left you know
~When you reached Ouma’s home and he answers, you immediately tear up and hug him
~Now he'll always be at their side
~No matter what
Rantaro Amami
~He’ll seem completely chill around groups with you and your friends
~But don't underestimate him
~When someone tries to hug you or even come in physical contact, he'll push them aside before they do or rush towards you to block them out of the wa
~He’ll often visit your home bringing lots of food and supplies to you know, make sure you don't have to overwork yourself with basic things
~You say to him that he doesn't have to do such things as this but he insists
~He knows everything that you do and knows where you go
~He follows you everywhere you go keeping a steady eye on you if you ever get hurt while he is unaware
~He doesn't want that
~One day you heard that one of your friends were dead
~Their body was found dumped into a lake of some sort, that friend was with you yesterday and they gave a goodbye hug
~That made Amami smile but it was a disturbing smile
~After that he comforted you as you were to distressed about going out of the house at this moment
~This didn't bother him at all in fact it was super convenient for him
~Now he can comfort you all alone, only him can do that
Kaito Momota
~He probably would be friendly around people! Like his usual self!
~That is until you leave and everything changes
~Now then, everyone else aren't allowed to even lay a finger on them, any physical affection is not allowed by Kaito’s rules
~He is the only one who could do that
Not other people.
~Once he saw one of your friends hanging out with you holding your ever so small hand
~He was watching from afar, a usual thing for him to do but this just struck a huge problem in his way now
~They are his and his only so this is not allowed
At all
~This ‘friend’ ignored his statements reminding them that they are his so that friend just has to learn the consequences
~The next day after that you heard that your friend disappeared without a trace
~You immediately got worried for them and started to panic and that's when Kaito walked in
~He instantly comforted you and patted you on the back saying that they will be found and come back to see you again
~But he knows they'll never will
Ryoma Hoshi
~He keeps you as close to him as possible
~Whatever he does you tag along of course, this just makes things way easier for him
~He would often bring you to his tennis games so he could keep his eye on you and that you'll never leave his sight
~Any person who approaches you and starts to get into a relationship either friends or more
~They get a visit that will last a pretty damn long time…
~You always wonder where they went to and you sometimes ask Hoshi but he just shrugs it off saying he has no clue at all
~You didn’t bat an eye at his response, you fully believed in him
~This happens multiple times after every conversation you had with a person they never talked to you again
~This strange situation always seemed to happen and continued again and again and again and again
~You ponder with Hoshi about it with him being the only one was always came back to talk to you without fail
~He’ll always be the only one to talk to them
~The only one to ever talk to you
Gonta Gokuhara
~He’ll make sure you are safe 24/7
~Even if that means keeping you in enclosed spaces
~He can't have anyone hurt his small precious S/O
At all costs
~He is fine with you with friends since he knows they won't do anything but just in case he keeps a close eye on you
~He would provide you with things so you don't have to go out yourself after all you might get hurt and what happens if one of your friends do anything?
~Gonta will be prepared for anything if bad things happens to S/O, they must be protected from everything
~So what happens if anyone threatens S/O?
~Or even gets too close to them
~That's not safe
~Anything unsafe must be no where near S/O, so Gonta deals with it
~They must be protected! No matter what!
~He spends most of his time with you at home at least home is protected and safe therefore no harm done
~He doesn't want you to go outside if you do he is right next to you, guiding you away from other people's touch
~Then it starts to affect your friends by they can't touch you because they are way too dangerous
~He insists you are in safe hands, in his hand forever and ever
~And ever...
Kiibo
~He needs to be by your side at all times
~Because he clearly loves you that is what love is about…
~He’s quite iffy around other people here and there, only him should be at your side
~Not them, not these other people
~Only Him...
~ You started to feel quite uneasy with him around, but didn't want to say anything
~He always stuck by their side whenever they were hanging out with friends or just on their own, he was always there watching
~When their friends question his actions he politely told them that S/O was his and to back off
~For people who was too close to them, he paid them a little visit after all they only wanted him by his side not these other people
~Not at all…
~When he finds you upset about them, he tries his best to comfort you
~Saying that he will always be there no matter what
~Because he would be the only one there
No one else could fit that role in his S/O’s life
~Only h i m could do that
Korekiyo Shinguji
~What a small, fragile and beautiful human being
~He absolutely adored them
~He wanted to protect them...no, He needed to protect them
~Their friends were just a waste of space, they didn't deserve to observe such beauty everyday
Nor did they deserve to talk and touch them
~He tried to conserve that beauty keeping it for only his eyes only, he bought many things for them to keep them occupied from the outside world
~Because the outside world didn't deserve them
~If anyone tried to take them out of their home such as those ‘friends’ he would go along with them both
~To make sure he could protect the beauty within them
~If anyone tried to touch them he would hold them back by gently grabbing them and shaking his head quite sternly
~One day after resting in your home you never heard from the majority of your friends didn't respond to you
~Korekiyo came in and when he came in he noticed your concern about them
~He tried to calm you down while you had no intention of what he did

I’m a Survivor (9/??)
MAJOR NDRV3 SPOILERS AHEAD!
Beginning l Previous Word Count (for this part): ~2,500 Relationships: implied Saihara/Akamatsu Major Characters (for this part): Amami, Saihara, Akamatsu Summary: Whether he remembers it or not, Amami Rantarou is still the Super High School Level Survivor. He’s not dying that easily. (Or, an exploration of what happens if Amami survives both murder attempts and, consequently, Akamatsu doesn’t get executed for killing him)
///
He knew that manhole was bad news.
That’s all Amami can think as he grimly stares down at Akamatsu, holding the unmoving form of the Super High School Level Inventor. More and more people show up, one after another – and part of him feels vindicated because he’d known there would be an announcement somehow to bring them all to the crime scene, but now isn’t the time for that.
Mostly, he’s oblivious to the growing crowd. At least until Kiibo arrives.
The robot runs in seconds before the group that had gone to the dorms, causing a stir amongst the other students who hadn’t yet known his fate. “Who is it?!” Kiibo cries, looking wildly around the room – taking stock of the survivors, it seems. “Who’s dead? Who did she—” He breaks off suddenly, seemingly overwhelmed by emotion.
“She?” What was he about to say?
Regardless, it’s clearly important to Kiibo to know immediately who the victim was. Amami can only assume wherever he was found there hadn’t been time to update him on the situation, so he takes it upon himself. “Look down there, Kiibo-kun,” he says, trying to affect a gentle tone. He points towards the manhole and continues, “It’s Iruma-san, but be warned – it’s not pretty.”
Of all things, Kiibo seems exasperated as he walks to the manhole. “Yes, I know what Iruma-san did! And of course it’s bad! I’m asking who she did it—”
He looks down midsentence and just—stops. Amami can imagine the gears that had been turning in the robot’s head suddenly shifting out of place and getting jammed. Like an afterthought, the last word slips out of his mouth. “—to.”
Amami tries to parse this while Kiibo stares uncomprehending at Iruma’s body. So Iruma-san did something? What? It almost sounded as if Kiibo thought she had murdered someone rather than the other way around…
The last few stragglers arrive – Shirogane among them, he notes suspiciously – as Kiibo mumbles, “I don’t understand.”
“Well, I do!”
The unwelcome response comes from Monokuma, of course. As per usual, the bear pops up out of nowhere before starting his rambling. “I understand that you guys sure like to take your time with everything! You went down to the wire with the first time limit, and almost as close this time, too! Patience may be a virtue, but it’s also boring and exhausting. If you bastards had killed someone hours ago, you could be sleeping in bed by now, you know?”
As if reminded of the late hour, a few people yawn. Looking practically dead on her feet, Yumeno mutters, “Let’s hurry up and get this over with. What happens now?”
Akamatsu climbs up the ladder to join everyone else in the boiler room, and Monokuma continues, “Well, like I said before, first come, first serve! This was the first murder of the killing game, so the culprit gets to graduate without having to go through a trial as a bonus!”
“Hi-kuma!”
With an irritatingly cheerful shout, five more nuisances appear.
Monosuke is the first to speak. “Well, it’s about time! I was beginnin’ ta think this killing game would never get goin’!”
“Hell yeah! Finally something interesting happened!” Monokid shouts.
Monofunny keeps her gaze fixed away from the manhole. “Oh, this is awful. Murder is just so bloody and violent, I can’t stand it. I can’t even bear to look at Iruma-san’s body or I might—ulp.” She makes a sound as if she’s choking something down.
“Don’t look, Monofunny!” Monotaro says. “If you see it, you’re gonna puke, and nobody wants to see that!”
Monodam is silent.
These bears are seriously annoying, Amami thinks.
Monokuma loudly clears his throat, effectively silencing his children. “Well, anyway, as I was saying, our lucky first killer gets to graduate. Let’s all give that person a round of applause!”
The Cubs all start clapping, and, sans Monodam, speak in chorus, “Congratulations! You graduated!”
The students are silent. No one makes a move to come forward.
The applause from the bears dies off as they slowly realize this. Monotaro is the last one to stop. “Hey, why’d everybody stop?”
“Uh, well, no one is coming forward,” Monofunny points out.
“Huh? Oh, you’re right! What’s up with that?” the red bear wonders.
Monosuke says, “Hey, culprit! You gotta own up to your crime if you want the prize, you know?”
Still, no one says anything. Glancing around, Amami sees the students looking amongst themselves in confusion. It seems whoever killed Iruma isn’t going to confess and claim the bonus.
I have a bad feeling about this.
Monofunny turns to Monokuma for assistance. “What now? What does this mean, Daddy?”
Monokuma is quiet for a moment, but slowly his signature toothy grin spreads across his face. “Well, if the culprit won’t come forward, that can only mean they want a class trial! Am I right, or am I right?”
No one objects, though most everyone looks horrified. Amami desperately wishes his bad feelings and intuition would be wrong, just once.
“Well then!” the bear continues. “I guess that changes things. Sorry, everyone, I know you’re all tired, but you can’t rest just yet! It’s time for an investigation! Then, after a certain amount of time has passed, I’ll call everybody for the class trial, okay?”
“No, it’s not okay!” Akamatsu bursts out. “Why – What’s going on? It’s bad enough there’s been a murder, but why would the killer not take advantage of the chance to get out of here? Why would they want a class trial, prolonging this and putting everyone’s lives at risk?! Who would do something like that?!”
“Hmm. That sounds like something to figure out during the trial,” is Monokuma’s uncaring response. “And to help you out with that, here!” He pulls a thin electronic device out from… somewhere, and promptly shoves it into Akamatsu’s hands. “It’s the Monokuma File!”
“Er, sorry, Gonta has never heard of a Monokuma File before. What is it?”
I’m pretty sure none of us have heard of something so ridiculous before, Gonta-kun. The thought rings a little false somehow, but before he or anyone else can point out that Gonta isn’t the only one in the dark here, Monokuma is moving on.
“It’s just a little something I made up to help you kids solve the case, since I’m such a nice guy!” the bear says. “The Monokuma File contains important information relating to the murder, like cause and time of death. Of course, it doesn’t tell you who killed Iruma-san; I don’t want to make this too easy!”
“That’s surprisingly generous of you,” Harukawa notes.
Monokuma nods and replies, “Of course! I want this to be a fair trial, after all. Anyway, good luck investigating!”
That said, he disappears. The Cubs hesitate.
“Should we follow him?” Monotaro asks.
“Of course we should follow him; s’not like there’s anything for us ta do around here,” Monosuke says.
“I agree. Plus I’d feel better getting away from the body,” responds Monofunny.
“Yeah, let’s get out of here,” Monokid says. “That means you, too, Monodam! You’re useless and in the way here!” He pounds the silent and unmoving Monodam on the back, and after getting no response, says, “Whatever. Let’s leave.”
“Bye-kuma!”
The five nuisances disappear after their father – one of them just a few seconds behind the rest.
Thank god, the clowns are gone.
The room is silent. No one knows how to proceed.
“So…” Shirogane starts, “…what do we do now?”
She appears to be asking Saihara – naturally, he is a detective and the obvious person to look to when it comes to investigating a murder, after all – but the boy is too wrapped up in his thoughts to answer, so Amami responds instead.
“We start investigating. I don’t know how much time Monokuma is going to give us, but if we can’t find enough evidence to figure out who did this, then we’re all doomed.”
“I’m too tired for this,” Yumeno complains. She looks the same as always, but he detects a slight waver in her voice – a hint of repressed panic.
Even she’s freaking out about this, huh? But why — no. Fear is the natural response in a situation like this, isn’t it? Instead of wondering why everyone else is so anxious, the question I should be asking is… how am I so calm?
Amami tries to sound soothing when he says, “Sorry, Yumeno-san, but I think it will be at least a few more hours before any of us can get to sleep. This is a little more important, after all. But don’t worry – I’m sure if we all work together we can solve the case, right, Saihara-kun?”
Snap out of it, already.
“Eh?” His pointed tone succeeds in pulling the detective out of his head. Saihara stares at him uncomprehendingly for a moment, frozen like a deer in headlights.
“Shouldn’t we start looking for clues?” Amami prods him.
Catching on, the other boy nods. “Er, yes, we probably shouldn’t waste any more time.”
Shirogane says, “You’re the detective here, Saihara-kun. Where should we start?”
Almost everyone is eyeing Saihara expectantly. He starts to sweat.
The poor guy looks a hair’s breadth from collapsing under the pressure. We can’t afford to just rely on one person, especially when that person is so obviously not ready for that kind of responsibility.
Before he can say as much, Momota beats him to the punch. “What the hell do you guys think you’re doing, huh? We can’t just sit on our asses and leave everything to Saihara!”
“Hmm? Could it be that you don’t trust in Saihara-chan’s ability to solve the case, Momota-chan?” Ouma’s smile can only be called evil.
Momota growls, “That ain’t it! Of course I believe in him – that just doesn’t mean the rest of us should be fucking useless! Instead of letting him handle everything on his own ‘cos he’s a detective, we should be doing everything we can to help him.”
“I agree!” Akamatsu chimes in. “I don’t think it’s wrong to rely on Saihara-kun in a situation like this, but he should be able to rely on us, too. We’ve got to support each other to get through this!”
Amami nods. “Well spoken.” If a bit crass on Momota’s part. “If all of us pitch in, we’ll crack the case in no time. What do you say, Saihara-kun?”
Compared to a minute ago, the boy in question is looking immensely more comfortable and relieved – he no longer has the weight of the world resting solely on his shoulders. “It sounds good. I’ll do what I can, and in return…” he pauses, casting a long look around the room. His gazes lingers on certain faces before coming to stop on Akamatsu. “…I’ll be counting on all of you.”
Momota is the first to respond. “Alright! Let’s do this!”
“I’ll do my part. I have to know why Iruma-san was the one to die,” Kiibo says.
“It really is a pain, but I guess it can’t be helped,” comes Yumeno’s unenthusiastic but willing voice.
Ouma shrugs. “I was planning on investigating, anyway. It would’ve been boring to leave it all to Saihara-chan.”
“I’ll do whatever I can to help,” Toujou says, standing primly.
Akamatsu, still holding Saihara’s gaze, finally smiles and nods. “…Yeah. Count me in.”
It looks like those two are going to work out their problems. That’s good.
Hoshi interrupts the feel-good moment with a reality check. “Hey, if you’re all done with the inspirational speeches, shouldn’t we start actually investigating?”
“I agree, but we still don’t know where to even begin,” Shinguuji replies.
“Checking out the body and the surrounding crime scene should come first. That’s just common sense,” Harukawa says, looking unimpressed.
“Actually—” Saihara interrupts, regaining the attention of the room, “—there is one thing I’d like to check before anything else while everyone is still here, if you don’t mind.”
“What is it?” Gonta asks.
“That.” The detective gestures to the device still in Akamatsu’s hands. “The Monokuma File. If it has general information regarding the case, we should all see what’s on it. However, there’s just the one, so…”
In hindsight, this fact strikes him as a little odd. Why didn’t Monokuma give them all a file? Wouldn’t it have made sense to make sure every student would have access to something so vital? Then again, why am I so sure everyone getting a Monokuma File is how it’s supposed to be? Why do I feel like the fact that there’s only one file this time is an exception – because even Monokuma didn’t think there’d be a trial – rather than the rule?
My head hurts.
“Yes, that makes sense!” Chabashira says – or rather, shouts. “Should we take turns passing it around, or—”
“It would be faster to just read it aloud,” Saihara says. “Akamatsu-san, would you…?”
The girl nods, looking determined. “Right, leave it to me.”
Everyone holds their breath as she turns the device on. Akamatsu inhales and starts to read:
“The victim is Iruma Miu.
Time of death is exactly 10:00 pm.
Cause of death is a snapped neck as a result from a blow to the head. In addition, the victim also has many broken bones and internal injuries from falling, including a broken spinal cord.”
She stops and closes her eyes.
“Is that all?” Saihara asks.
Akamatsu nods. She hands the device to him and says, “Well? Does any of that information help, Saihara-kun?”
The detective hesitates. “I can’t be sure yet. On its own, it’s too general to tell me anything that would point towards the killer. But it could be useful in combination with future evidence.”
There’s something about the way that it was worded that bothers me, Amami thinks. It sounds as if Iruma-san definitely fell, but is that what killed her? Akamatsu-san was right earlier – a fall from this height down to the floor below shouldn’t be enough to kill someone… Unless they fell on their head, which would account for the neck snapping, but…
He glances at the manhole in contemplation. Would it even be possible to fall like that with an opening of that size?
“Anyway,” Saihara continues, “now that we’ve all heard what’s on the file, we should start investigating. We’ll need to thoroughly check this room and the one below, as well as the body. It might also be a good idea to check the surroundings outside, just in case. Finally, I’ll need everyone’s alibi for the time of death – exactly ten pm.”
“Leave that to me!” Akamatsu says. “I’m not sure how much help I can be in investigating, so I’ll at least be useful by getting everyone’s alibis, okay, Saihara-kun?”
The boy nods. “Alright. There are a few other things I’d like to check,” he says, glancing briefly at Shirogane and Kiibo, “but for now we can split up and get to work.”
The determined – almost cheerful, despite the circumstances – mood is infectious, and Amami finds himself smiling and playing along. “Okay!” he announces.
“Let’s get this investigation underway!”
///
Sorry for the long delay in updating this! I’ve been finishing up a semester at college (my LAST - I’m officially graduated, FUCK YEAH) and also getting totally obsessed with Persona 4 which I bought for ten bucks on the PlayStation store. Also this last little bit here had me suffering from SERIOUS writer’s block. I just had no inspiration or motivation to write this part - but I’m eager to get through the investigation and onto the trial, so hopefully I’ll update sooner next time!
#ndrv3 spoilers#ndrv3#Amami Rantarou#Saihara Shuuichi#Akamatsu Kaede#danganronpa#fanfiction#this part's basically just filler/transition stuff - necessary to get into the investigation and trial but not interesting in its own right

Reunion: An NDRV3 Fic
(So I talked before on Discord about the scene in DR3 where the class of 77 show up and whoop the Future Foundation, but instead it's the NDRV3 cast. I decided to share a few scenes I thought up. Thank you for reading in advance! BTW, in this, they were the Remnants, not the SDR2 crew.)
Makoto and Byakuya’s trusted agents are being pinned down by a group of Future Foundation soldiers that were brainwashed by Ryota Mitarai’s Hope Anime, a fate that the rest of the world would soon face if Makoto doesn’t get there and stop him in time. Makoto is racking his brain trying to figure out a way to get through them without anyone dying. Makoto was desperate enough to bolt through the bullets hoping his luck wouldn’t fail him now. When suddenly, he heard a few loud grunts, several loud sounds of impact and the bullets cease fire. Makoto cautiously raised his head over the wall he crouching behind with Byakuya’s men to see the future foundation members knocked out by pieces of rubble thrown at their heads. He then looked up to see the ones who did the throwing and found to his surprise a group of cloaked figures standing atop the rubble. The cloaked figures parted and knelt as a young-and-innocent-seeming boy walked to the front. One of the cloaked figures crawled up to the boy with a bucket of ice and several sodas wedged in the ice. The boy happily takes one, opens it, and after taking his first sip, finally acknowledges Makoto with a simple, “We’re here!” and went back to his soda. Makoto expected nothing less of Kokichi Ouma, former-SHSL Supreme Leader.
Kyosuke Munakata is going up against a bridge full of soldiers with only his swords, and then he sees a projectile bounce from soldier head to soldier head in a zig-zag pattern and they are dropping immediately after with something else flinging them in a straight path down the middle. He catches the projectile when it reaches him. It’s a simple tennis ball. The thing coming down the middle is actually a person, he was was just too short for Munakata to see. The unique-looking man is armed with only a tennis racket, he pulls out a cigarette, lights it, and takes a long drag. Munakata grimaces, as he recognizes the man as Remnant of Despair and former Death Row convict, Ryoma Hoshi, the former-SHSL Tennis Star. He scoffs, “Remnant, why are you here?” Ryoma, takes the tennis ball, that Munakata had dropped after recognizing what it was and who was using it, looks up at him and says, “I seek something that I might never earn, yet I shall still try to: atonement!” As Ryoma said that last word, he jumped high into the air, far higher than any normal human could, and spiked the tennis ball back into the crowd of hypnotized soldiers.
Outside the facility, two figures stand in the pouring rain. One was a member of the Future Foundation Elite Force, made up of former SHSL students, this person in particular was the former-SHSL Shuriken Thrower. The other was Korekiyo Shiguuji, former-SHSL Anthropologist, and former Remnant. Korekiyo was dancing past the Shurikens like they were nothing. The Shuriken Thrower let out a, “Tsk!” in frustration at the Korekiyo’s evasiveness. “Let me guess what is frustrating you.” Korekiyo stated calmly, sending a chill up his opponent’s spine. “’How is this despair scum, evading my black shurikens, being expertly thrown, in the middle of a storm where he shouldn’t even be able to see them?’ That is what you’re thinking isn’t? Well, the answer is simple. I am a human, the most beautiful thing in the world. And I am something even better than that, a human whose life and the lives is in danger, raising my adrenaline, which can make me do things that most people believe is only possible in fables and myth. But they forget that all fables are based on truth in one way or another. And there is another reason. You are afraid of me. After all, I had a hand in the destruction of the world.” Korekiyo’s voice had lost it’s calm cadence and is now become more aggressive, dripping with venom. The F.F. agent could only imagine the face he was making under that mask, despite really not wanting to find out. Korekiyo began approaching his opponent, all the while still dodging the increasing number shurikens that were flung at him. “You should be afraid, for I have already won against those much stronger than you. The world collapsed at my feet. Not even for a reason that matters, simply because my friends and I wanted to. All of this happened because we thought it would be fun! So go on, be afraid! For I am a human, the most destructive force the world has ever seen!” Korekiyo laughed as lightning struck the platform behind him, illuminating his silhouette and making his presence seem all the more intimidating. The Shuriken Thrower reeled back and screamed as he tried to throw another shuriken, but was stopped as Korekiyo’s vine whip wrapped around his neck and pulled him towards Korekiyo. The Shuriken Thrower lost consciousness and collapsed, and as he did, the last thing he heard was his attacker simply saying in a calm voice lacking any sarcasm or the venom that was previously there, “Sweet dreams.”
A fighter jet was flying over the island was locking on to the stolen Future Foundation ship that the remnants had used to get there. The jet was piloted by the former-SHSL Pilot. She flashed a cocky grin and said to herself, “Target locked on. Ready to fire.” Immediately after she said that and just before she was going to fire, a voice came through over the channel, but it wasn’t a member of Future Foundation. It was a loud yet polite voice she didn’t recognize that stated, “I’m going to have to tell you to land now! Do not fire or face the consequences!” She couldn’t help but scoff, this guy had to be a Remnant right? She knew they were stupid enough to be pawns to Junko Enoshima, but come on! The Pilot spoke into her mic, “Yeah good luck buddy! I can out-fly any human or drone in the world, and I definitely can avoid missiles or artillery! What can you do to-?” As she said this, a heavy slam could be heard from the bottom of the jet’s front, shaking her even in the cockpit, buckled up. They’re were several more smaller noises, that sounded akin a pair of the Jaws of Life being used on a car, approaching the cockpit, going up the nose of and flipping to the top side, but it was still just out of her line of sight. The previous voice picked up again this time seeming less loud, and more confident. ”No humans or drones can match you and no missiles or artillery can hit you, huh? Well it’s a good thing...” The Pilot finally saw what was on her jet. A man-shaped figure was clutching the dome window of the jet, casting a shadow over her and the cockpit as a whole. She couldn’t see anything about them- him? it? -because of how dark it was except for a pair of glowing blue eyes that seemed more like headlights than anything. “...I’m none of those! I’m Kiibo, Greetings!” The pilot panicked and fired the missile in hopes of anything saving her. Kiibo turned away from her and removed his grip off the dome window, allowing the Pilot to hit the eject button and escape from the jet. Kiibo’s collar came together in front of his face and connected as he raised his left hand and fired a laser at the missile, blowing it up before it could do any harm. The pilot let out a sigh as she watched the jet where she last saw Kiibo hit the ocean surface and explode. “I’m safe...” “Don’t worry, I was not going to let you die there.” The pilot blanched as she looked up from the sea to in front of her where Kiibo was flying in front of her as she gently floated towards the ground with her parachute. “However, I told you not to fire. So now, you’ll have to suffer consequences.” The pilot sat there trying to process everything that just happened and tried to respond to Kiibo or defend herself. Her body settled on emptying her bladder and throwing up in Kiibo’s general direction out of fear before losing consciousness. “Oh no! My readings show her heart rate is out of control! I know!” Kiibo rubbed his palms together and shouted, “Clear!” as he attempted to resuscitate the ‘flat-lining’ pilot.
Inside the facility, a loud cackling could be heard coming from one, Miu Iruma, former-SHSL Inventor. She was fighting one of Future Foundation’s drones. These drones were basically small quadrupedal tanks. “Listen up, you pile of scrap I coulda built better if I was half asleep and jerking off in the shower, you have no chance of beating me and my patent-pending invention, the Kiibo Kanon, made after some nobody I call a friend’s own arm canon, this thing is at least 50,000,000-fold better than his lasers!” Miu continued on with her half-monologue-half-bizzare-imaginary-infomercial, switching to a nasal and whiny voice. “‘But super-sexy-Miu-sama-onee-sensei~ how could you have made that?’ I hear some of you at home ask, well it’s simple fools! It’s because I’m SO FUCKING STROOOOOOOOOONG!” She fires her laser canon at the drone, blowing it away until it’s nothing but dust. “KYAHAHAHAHAHA! And that’s just a taste of my full power!” After she said that a drone appeared from right behind her, making her jump with an, “EEP!” and drop the Kiibo Kanon down a hole in the floor. She looked at the now advancing drone nervously. “Hehehe...PLEASE DON’T HURT ME! I’LL GIVE YOU WHATEVER YOU WANT, MR. DRONE! MY MONEY, MY INVENTIONS, MY BODY! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!” After emptying her pockets, throwing all of their contents at the drone, and opening her shirt to show off her body did nothing, Miu was in a ball on the floor sobbing. “I DON’T WANNA DIE A VIRGIN! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!” She didn’t notice when the drone stepped on a roach in its path to Miu, but someone else sure did. The drone was about to pounce when, it was held back by something. It was then flung off the edge of the walkway, into the floor far below where it exploded on impact. Miu stopped sobbing and looked up at her savior, Gonta Gokuhara, former-SHSL Entomologist. “You alright, Miu?” Miu quickly wiped her saliva, tears, and running mascara off of her face before regaining her arrogant composure. “Of course I’m fine! I’m me, aren’t I? I saw you were coming and started acting scared as a distraction, is all. You should be thanking me!” She turned around and huffed. Gonta then responded with, “You’ve got a brown stain on the back of your skirt, Miu.” Miu’s eyes popped open as she covered up the back of her skirt and rear end. “What? Oh my god, I haven’t done that when I got scared since middle school! Kirumi is gonna kill me! Ouma will never let me hear the end of it! Maybe Maki has some spare panties and a skirt or somethi- wait a second, no there isn’t!” Gonta chuckled and said, “Sorry Miu, I couldn’t help myself.” Miu started to tear up a bit again. “Ug...You better not tell anybody about either of the things that happened, got it?” Gonta nodded and said, “As a gentleman, that’s the least I can do Miu.”
“A sea monster! Run for your lives!” The majority of Future Foundation soldiers were being incapacitated by a giant creature looming over the docks of the facility, it was swinging its giant tentacles all over the place knocking people over and rendering too terrified to even shoot back. “RAAWWRRR!!! Teehee! This is going great!” On the other side of the ‘giant monster’ were the ones who built this on such short notice, Angie Yonaga and Tsumugi Shirogane, former-SHSL Artist and Cosplayer, respectively. They each had their limbs tied to a stick that was controlling one of the tentacles. Angie had her mouth in a large cone that was making her voice louder and she was wearing a voice modifier that made her cute voice change into a ravenous beast’s. Tsumugi pondered out loud, “Wow, I’m really surprised they aren’t noticing that this is made out of foam, wood, paint, and glitter glue.” Angie took another break from screaming into the cone and said, “That’s because God is on our side, Tsumugi!” “Giving how much could’ve gone wrong, I’m inclined to believe you, Angie...”
Rantarou Amami, former-SHSL- Oh who cares what talent he has? He certainly didn’t in this moment in time, he was busy being chased after by a Future Foundation agent who was throwing knives and breathing fire at him. Yet Rantarou kept a calm composure. ”Look man, you don’t have to hurt me, I just wanna get by. We can talk this out, all you have to do is listen to-” He stopped talking when a knife landed between his legs and lodged into the wall. Rantarou realized that this was a time where his negotiation skills are useless. Rantarou also realized he was going to probably die here. But then he heard a loud battle cry, coming from Tenko Chabashira, former-SHSL Aikido Master, Tenko was dodging the fire and kicking the knives away using all of her Neo-Aikido skills. “Like any dirty boy is gonna stop Tenko! Outta my way!” Tenko flipped him into a wall with enough force for him to get stuck in the wall. Rantarou smiled as his classmate and was about to thank her for the rescue when suddenly, he found himself being flung down the hall by his hero. “Sorry Rantarou! Force of habit!” Tenko somewhat-insincerely called out. Then Tenko was knocked onto the floor after being surprised by another Future Foundation agent. She was the former-SHSL Kick-boxer. “Damn it! She’s a girl!” Tenko explained as the Kick-boxer was standing over her and had a foot on her back. “Tenko’s senses are best at sensing nasty boys, she didn’t expect a girl to attack her from behind! You’re a fighter, you should fight with a shred of honor, at least!” The Kick-boxer laughed and was about to bring her foot down on Tenko, but was interrupted by a fist to the side of the head, knocking her out. It belonged to Kaito Momota, former-SHSL Astronaut. “Good thing I’m a cheater too.” Kaito reached down and helped Tenko up. Kaito bushed and asked Tenko, “Y-you alright?” Tenko blushed and said, “Y-yeah. Don’t think I needed you Kaito! Tenko doesn’t need any boys! But...thanks...” “Uhhh...I’m not fine...” “SHUT UP RANTAROU!”
Kirumi Toujou, former-SHSL Maid was no one to scoff at when it came to skill. That’s why the group of soldiers that came across her cleaning up the rubble of the ruined facility, soon regretted lowering their guns at first. They also soon learned how someone could get their ass handed to them by a maid, that was armed with only a broom and a feather duster. That’s right, she beat someone who had a rifle, with a feather duster. Never doubt Kirumi Toujou.
Maki Harukawa, former-SHSL Caregiver and Kaede Akamatsu, former-SHSL Pianist were sitting on a stage with a microphone and a piano, singing lullabies. Maki’s heavenly and serene singing voice, mixed with Kaede’s Piano skills were putting any soldiers around them to sleep with their rendition of “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.” The former-SHSL Sniper was wearing sound-proof headphones and was about to take a shot at Kaede. She was stopped by Shuichi Saihara, former-SHSL Detective. Shuichi waved bashfully, mouthed an apology and used his magnifying glass to put a glare in her eyes and disorient her. He then ran up and ripped her headphones off, putting her to sleep. “Ok you two! I think that’s all of them!” Shuichi yelled out. Once they ceased their song, Shuichi removed his earplugs and walked over to them. “Not all of them!” a loud voice rang through the room as the owner of the voice, the former-SHSL Recon Specialist dropped in with a gun pointed at the three Remnants, finger on the trigger. “You’re finished, remnants.” Kaede smiled and responded with, “Not yet!” and played a very short and odd-sounding series of notes. the Recon Specialist was lost, “What was that supposed to knock me out? That was terrible!” Kaede had a smug look on her face and said, “Oh, I know. That song wasn’t going to do anything to you directly. That was a signal.” The Elite Force agent laughed, “Oh yeah? Signal for what?” Maki, responded this time, “It’s the ‘Kiibo we’re in trouble signal.’” They all then heard a loud crashing noise as Kiibo came flying in and tackled the one endangering their friends to the ground. And then through the ground.
The 16 Remnants now were back together in front of the broadcasting tower, ready to stop Ryota. But one last obstacle stood in their way. The former-SHSL Tank Operator, was blocking the way in a tank (”Makes sense.” Rantarou muttered.) “Remnants of Despair: Turn back now or be blown away! I really don’t care which!” “Neither.” Ryoma confidently stated, his cigarette still in his mouth despite getting wet in the rain. “We may have become puppets to Junko, but we refuse to hesitate here and now! Please get out of your tank or we will have to use force!” Kiibo Proclaimed, getting worried about how much rain is getting on him today. “We are going to stop Ryota no matter what it takes.” Rantarou said, unwilling to back down. “What a filthy boy, bringing a tank to a fist fight! A coward like you can’t stop Tenko, let alone all of us!” Tenko said, standing her ground. “I’m famous in space! What makes you think you’ll stop us?” Kaito had a resolve to see this to the end as well. “God is on Angie’s side and her friends’ side!” Angie said with her hands to the sky. “If this was an anime, this would be our redemption arc.” Tsumugi seemed to only be half there. “I lead over 10,000 people in a secret society. I’m one of the most evil and manipulative people I know, and even I know that we have to stop this.” Kokichi was on his fifth soda now. “My golden brain cell will figure us a way in no matter what!” Miu was back to her confident facade. “We as human beings can power through anything. Especially when we do it together.” Korekiyo had his eyes closed and his bandaged hands out. “I deal with kids. You can’t scare me...” Maki had a determined look, well determined in Maki’s book. “As a maid, it is my duty to clean up a mess. And this is a big one.” Kirumi stood with her hands behind her back. “When it’s all of us, we can do it. I know it.” Shuichi seems calm despite how nerve-wracking the situation is. “A gentleman would see that letting us through is the right thing to do and move aside!” Gonta was smiling and was hoping that this would end peacefully. “This is tiring...I want outta this rain! Let us stop him, so we can go home!” Himiko Yumeno, the former-SHSL Magician, who had been staying on the boat as a lookout until this point, was playing with a tennis ball she asked Ryoma for earlier. “We believe in each other, we believe in earning redemption, even if the world will still hate us. We have to make things right. Please, let us through.” Kaede looked at her classmates friends family and knew that they weren’t scared or unsure like they were in the game, or being manipulated like they were before by Junko, they were determined. And they weren’t going to be sto- “Alright! Prepare to be blown away!” They sorta forgot that they were talking to someone, and not just motivating themselves. As they heard the main canon of the tank start to fire it’s laser cannon, Himiko scoffed, said, “Enough talk!” threw the tennis ball in the air, pointed her wand and shouted, “I summon you, my familiar, Nutter Butter!” In a plume of smoke the tennis ball turned into Nutter Butter, Himiko’s pet elephant. Nutter Butter crushed the tank as they heard the Tank Operator let out a blood-curdling scream. Kaede was the first to react, “Is he dead?” Himiko made Nutter Butter disappear, looked back and said, “I don’t care...” Kiibo scanned the wreckage of the tank, ripped open a part of the wreckage, and found a perfectly fine Tank Operator. “Wow, you’re lucky you made it out of that Ok.” The Tank Operator sighed, and said, “Yeah, I am.” Then he realized the remnants surrounded him. “We weren’t gonna hurt you...” Rantarou nonchalantly mentions. “But then you tried to blow us up!” Gonta shouted, obviously having decided that there will be no more Mr. Nice Gonta. “But look,” Ouma said, “because we’re trying to show we’ve changed, we’re only gonna beat you half to death.” The Tank Operator let out a scream as the 16 students began to pummel him.
(I guess they just beat up Ryota too. I wanted them to have a nice group resolution like the SDR2 cast did with Ryota but they weren’t his classmate in this so...Thanks for reading!)

Can I ask for the boys reaction to their s/o being yandere toward them? Please<3
Ah, I love writing yandere stuff, enjoy!
Korekiyo Shinguuji
he thought your relationship was going really, really well!
you were such a nice girl, such a kind person, definitely the light of his everyday life.
that’s what he thought, at least, until one day, a friend of his went missing.
a close friend. gone.
he was pretty shaken all day, so he came to you for comfort...
only to find you disposing of her body.
he was just kind of struck at first, confused and scared and pissed and wanting to know why.
for him, of course! because you love him! because nobody else can lay their hands on you, their eyes on you, you won’t let them.
her pretty eyes were always on him...so you took them out.
she won’t look at him ever again.
you’re laughing now, like this is funny, and he’s just staring at you because he doesn’t understand.
he thought you were truly a pure human.
you promise it was all for him!
you couldn’t have him leaving you for some other girl, that would be heartbreaking!
you tell him he can’t leave you.
not now, not ever.
as scared as he is, he finds your mind to be an absolute labyrinth.
he wants to know more. he wants to get to the core of why you act this way.
you’re insane, truly insane, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t still love you.
he feels trapped.
but he stays.
he tries his best to keep you stable, and when he thinks you’re going to snap, he gets you the hell away from anybody and everybody who might even be looking at you, because he doesn’t entirely know what sets you off...
but he knows he can fix you. if he just keeps trying, he can fix you.
he’s just a little afraid of what you’re capable of.
short leash it is!
Rantarou Amami
you’ve been acting off all day, this isn’t like you.
why won’t you let him leave the house?? he just needs to go get some groceries.
he’s concerned and confused, because you really, really don’t want him to leave the house.
you’re practically locked onto his arm, just pulling him back into the house every time he tries to go to the door.
he finally asks why??
and so you tell him.
the neighbour was eyeing him up yesterday, you’re sure of it. she wants his body.
his body that belongs to you.
you demand that he stays him, nobody else can look at him, nobody.
so you hold him, practically shaking with fear, fear that somebody will take him away from you.
you can’t let that happen.
he’s not liking this side of you, he liked the side of you that was caring and sweet, so why are you suddenly acting like this now that somebody else is taking an interest in him?
you say that only you can have him, only you, nobody else.
you love him too much to let him slip away from you.
he’s a little concerned at first, but decides that you’re probably just protective...
and he loves you, so he’ll let it slide this time.
but he’s a little shaken now.
he wishes you wouldn’t be so controlling.
he doesn’t really understand how deep this goes...
and hopefully, he’ll never have to.
Ouma Kokichi
he was honestly pretty pissed off when his head servant went missing.
he had been calling for her all day, and getting nothing.
it wasn’t like her to slack though. ouma is her supreme leader, so why was she ignoring him?
he decided to look around for her, but couldn’t have expected to find her lying on the ground bleeding out.
he also couldn’t have expected to see you kneeling over her, stabbing her over and over and over again.
he just stares, awestruck and terrified, watching you stab her over and over and over and over-
he leaves without saying a word, before you can even see him.
he actually has to rush to the bathroom to vomit, he just watched you mutilate a corpse.
his sweet innocent S/O, mutilating a dead body.
he’s pale and sweating and scared.
he’s afraid of you. he’s afraid of what you can do.
you actually managed to lie to him...?
well, in your mind, that’s what that nasty bitch gets for spending so much time around your man.
how fucking dare she.
when you finally clean up and go back ouma, he simply welcomes you back with a smile.
he just needs to forget about this.
he needs to push it into the back of his mind, he needs to push his fear and disgust down, and he needs to love you unconditionally.
he’s absolutely terrified, but he’s so much more terrified of being alone.
sure, you just killed one of the most prominent people in his daily life, but...
you’re still here.
and he needs you to stay, no matter what.
so he’ll let you kill for him, he’ll let you think he doesn’t know.
as long as you come home at the end of every day.
but that doesn’t stop him from breaking down and crying sometimes because he’s so afraid of you and he loves you so, so much.
Shuuichi Saihara
he had actually been investigating the murder of a young woman when he found out.
a woman he had just done a case for the other day. so this was actually really suspicious.
he had found almost no clues at all, nothing to help but a knife at the murder scene.
...
a really, really familiar knife.
a knife that looked a lot like the ones you kept at home.
coincidence, he assumed.
but that all changed when he found your bloody clothes in the laundry.
he was terrified at first, there was no way, no way you killed her.
he didn’t want to paint you in a negative light, but...
he had to ask. he couldn’t just let this slide.
and it really didn’t take much for you to admit to what you had done to her.
it was the explaining that took a little longer.
she had been spending so much time with him, she had been keeping him away from you with her stupid case.
he had even missed your date last night because of that bitch and her case.
so you handled it.
you took her out of the picture, so now he doesn’t have to spend time with her anymore!
he doesn’t even know what to say, he’s terrified of you, you just murdered somebody so he would love you more.
but no matter how scared he is, he’s more scared that you’ll do something awful to him if he tries to leave.
and regardless, he can’t force himself to stop loving you...
and he can’t bring himself to turn you in.
but because he can’t bring himself to stop you in any way, this just keeps happening again and again.
he lets you overtake him.
he lets you keep him as your own.
he lets you claim him.
there was never any hope for him from the start.
Kaito Momota
he loves you so, so much.
you’re all his joy in the world! you’re adorable, happy, friendly, and by his book, you could never do anything wrong.
so you can imagine his surprise when this all went down.
it started with a childhood friend of his going missing for a week.
it continued with you disappearing for hours at a time.
it ended with her head in a box on his doorstep.
he was horrified.
you were so confused, didn’t he think she was pretty? you thought this would be a good gift AND get her out of the way, two birds with one stone!
he loves it...right?
he can’t stop crying, but he’s furious, you just killed somebody.
he doesn’t take it in a stride.
he doesn’t accept it.
he doesn’t accept you.
he tells you he’s calling the police, and that he’s not letting you get away with this.
but...you can’t really let him do that, you hope he understands.
and besides, you cut the phone cord hours ago, silly kaito.
he was panicking by this point, he needed to leave.
so he tried to run from you.
but you REALLY can’t let him do that.
so instead, he’s going to stay with you forever.
locked away.
and you will never, ever let him go.
he’s terrified of you. he wants to get away from you. but he can’t stop loving you, so he tries to fix you.
you can’t be fixed.
Kiibo
it took him a while to realize he was missing some memories, that he was blacking out at random points in the day, and that he was running out of storage.
it didn’t take him long after he realized that to realize that he was starting to hear your voice when you weren’t there.
was this a bug? a glitch?
no, no, there was no bug like this.
eventually the voice got louder, spoke more often, telling him how much you loved him, how much you cared about him, how nobody would ever love him like you do.
and then it got darker.
it told him that you loved him more than you loved anything else in the world, how he didn’t need a single other person in his life when he had you, how you would have him all to yourself forever no matter what the consequences.
he brought it up with you a few times, looking genuinely unnerved and scared, but you just kept saying you didn’t hear anything, and that you had no idea what he was talking about, and that he should run a virus scan.
it keeps getting louder and louder, more and more frequent until he finally just couldn’t take it anymore.
you were there when he broke down, yelling and crying and sparking and demanding answers from you, completely hysterical.
he just wanted silence.
it was so loud, it hurt him, every word cut deeper and deeper.
he’s so scared, so scared, so-
and then he shuts down.
overheated.
you sigh, another failed attempt at making him love you.
oh well. you’ll delete the memories and try again tomorrow. new approach, maybe.
Gonta Gokuhara
he would never find out.
not ever.
he’s too trusting, he loves you too much.
you’re too manipulative, you want him too much.
so he’ll believe whatever you tell him, and he’ll love you forever, and he’ll never know that you’re a murderous psychopath willing to do anything to claim him.
or at least, that’s how things were for a long time.
but you can only trick somebody for so long before they catch on.
with gona, it actually probably could have gone on forever if you hadn’t let him witness you.
it was something that didn’t seem too bad to you, actually very tame.
you had snuck into his room to kill the things that took up so much of his love, the love that belonged to you.
those stupid, worthless bugs of his.
you had killed every single one in every single tank, every cage, every terrarium, all emptied, every bug slaughtered.
your plan was to dispose of the mess and play dumb if he asked about them, but...
that was hard to do when he was standing in the doorway, staring at you and your handfuls of dead insects.
he was enraged.
he wanted to hurt you.
but a gentleman would never.
he just kind of stared at you, confused and hurt and crying.
you were such a caring person, how could you do something like this? he thought you really liked his bugs.
his fear and sniveling is almost enough to make you feel guilty.
almost.
you say you did it for him, everything is for him, but he needs to be paying attention to you instead of them!
he doesn’t understand.
he could never understand.
but he could also never abandon you, he’s a true gentleman.
so he stays...even if it mentally destroys him in the end.
he never gives you any affection anymore, just cold, sad, scared looks. nothing more.
was it really worth doing this to him...?
of course.
Ryouma Hoshi
he doesn’t wait to see what happens.
he confronts you the second things start getting suspicious, the second he starts seeing your bloody clothes, the second sharp objects in the house start going missing.
and you’re not going to lie to him, that’ll only make him more suspicious.
so you’re open.
you killed the neighbour.
she deserved it for daring to lay her eyes on you.
she deserved it for coming to the house to bring you things.
she had to die for the two of you to be happy together!
he knew it, but he still didn’t want to believe it.
and he loves you, he loves you so, so much, but he can’t love this.
he can’t love you thinking you can own him like this.
he’s disgusted with your kill.
no matter how much you beg, how much you plead, he leaves.
he thought you were different, he thought you were proof that not everybody in this world is scum.
he guesses he was wrong after all.
you’re just as bad as he is.
