The new prologue is now finished and coded, sitting at a gentle 3,5k words. + I got to do some organisational upkeep for the game and we all know how happy that stuff makes me.

I must sit down for some chapter 1 rewrite but I'm just staring at it horrified. Well there's no way around it but through.

hi hi! just wanted to pop by with a bug report, at the choices where you decide what to do with Fri post fight (heal him, offer him a hand, walk away), there seems to be an issue with the code because it doesn't let you click on a choice and progress. A popup says something about the error being unexpected token 'true'

I just realized how vastly different my mcs are with the different ros. I play a huge tennis nerd on both Sam and Rayyan's routes, but a very typical american himbo jock on G's and the most charming fella you'll ever meet for Tobin's. What does this mean.

I still remember that one interactive fiction thing that- I can't really remember or what we were, but I do remember it was nsfw and there was a minotaur baker (i think it was a baker), a spider woman that sews and a chinese man that could become a dragon (I think his name was Zhu??). My other interactive fiction game

For those of you who have asked/showed interest in my other writing project, I'm happy to finally share the title and link. I've kept it separate from this account since it felt like it'd be in bad taste to plaster a new project all over here when all of you initially followed because of your interest in TSS - plus, at the time when I created its intro post, I wanted to try and start over with something new.

The game is called "Unsanctioned" and follows a main character who has spent their childhood as the apprentice of an unlawful sorcerer believed to be dead. The prologue covers the MC's childhood while chapter 1 onward explores their life as an adult.

It's a very ambitious project in many ways and just writing this part of it has taken me...I think nearly 3 years? I haven't been able to write full time so that has definitely contributed, but I've also made sure to take my time with it. It's different in genre and tone from TSS with a bigger world that contains more lore and extensive worldbuilding. Regardless, I plan for both IFs to focus quite a bit on relationships and romance (though sadly there's not much in the way of romance in the demo so far since most of it focuses on the MC's childhood, but it'll come!)

Demo is up!

Since I miscalculated and realized that I won't be able to work on and upload the demo tomorrow, I've made it public today instead.

From here on out I'll be putting my main focus on chapter 1 and go back to fix remaining errors and edit stuff from the prologue from time to time with the exception of some stuff like adding name options at certain parts of the game instead of including just a text box; that's something I'll get to soon, hopefully. Also some remaining mistakes regarding spelling etc.

The codex and profile aren't completed either, but it'll all be done in due time :)

I just realized that Felix isn't a RO 😭😭 Will there be more chances for a fling with Felix or is it just a one time thing?

Felix has always been intended as a fling (multiple times possible) but... the deeper I get into this chapter the more I'm like. Is there something there??

I'm plotting out an outline of a short scene where Felix talks about being trans and non-binary and an athlete who wants to BE SOMEONE... and, well, let's just say I think they're gonna get at least / some/ character development by the end of the IF. They probably won't be a full fledged RO, though.
