Precure Secret Exchange 5/5: Everyone's Baking Fun!
For the @precuresecretexchange I got @olyollyoxenfree as my exchange partner, and I wanted to take some yellow Cures, and Butterfly, and Kirakira Precure A La Mode as inspiration, due to them having a soft spot or enjoyment for those cures.
I don't have ways to line or color, just sketch, so I wanted to add a bit more to the sketch. That's why this art piece comes with four new, unique, Animal Sweets Recipes, intended to be formatted in the style of Toei's original Animal Sweets Recipes, based on the four cures that are baking with Custard here.
I hope this sketch and some recipes is still okay!
You can find the recipes here:
Cure Yum-Yum's Dragon Darsaan
Cure Twinkle's Peacock Donuts
Cure Sparkle's Tiger Buns
Cure Butterfly's Butterfly Pea Hibiscus Tea Latte

Precure Secret Exchange 4/5: Cure Butterfly’s Butterfly Pea Hibiscus Iced Tea Latte
For @precuresecretexchange our secret exchange partner was @olyollyoxenfree ! Taking some of their favorite yellow Cures, Butterfly (who they also have a soft spot for), and Kirakira Precure A La Mode as inspiration, I tried to come up with four "Animal Sweets" recipes to represent those cures, as well as a drawing of them making these sweets together with Cure Custard!
The drawing, when posted, will have all of these recipe posts linked back to.
This is the fourth part of that gift!
Cure Butterfly’s Butterfly Pea Hibiscus Iced Tea Latte
Let's・La・Mazemaze!
Recipe Difficulty: ★☆☆
What you’ll need
For the Butterfly Pea Tea
10-15 Butterfly Pea Flowers
5-10 Hibiscus Flowers
500ml Hot Water
Cinnamon Stick
Sugar or Sweetener to Taste
For the Milk Mixture
250ml Regular Milk
50ml Condensed Milk
Decoration
Ice Cubes
1-2 Hibiscus flowers
Several Butterfly Pea Flowers
Step One
We’re going to make the Butterfly Pea tea. Boil 500ml of water in a kettle, and pour it into a jug. Add 10-15 Butterfly Pea Flowers and a Cinnamon Stick to the Hot Water, Mix, and allow it to steep for 5 minutes. Add sugar or sweetener to taste, and place it into the refrigerator to cool.
Step Two
Once the tea has cooled, we’ll make the milk mixture. Add 250ml of regular milk to a jar or jug, then add in the 50ml of the condensed milk, and give it a mix.
Step Three
We’ll prepare some decoration! Using some of the butterfly pea flowers, cut the petals into butterfly wing shapes. (Ask an adult to help you if you’re young!) When you have your wing shapes, use some water (not included in the recipe) brushed onto the petals to stick them to the glass, to make little butterflies!
Step Four
Fill the entire glass with ice, then pour your milk mixture in to around two thirds of the glass’s height. Being very careful, and very patient, add the Butterfly Pea Tea we made in Step One to the mixture, trying to not let it mix with the milk mixture too much. Do this until nearly full!
Ageha Tip: You can use a spoon to place it more carefully, and avoid breaking the surface tension on the milk!
Step Five
Attach 1-2 Hibiscus flowers on the rim of the glass as decoration. You should now have a beautiful butterfly pea iced tea latte, with a blue color on top of the milk mixture. Add some of the Hibiscus flowers we left out from the tea back into it, and you might see it magically turn pink!
Enjoy the Butterfly Pea Hibiscus Iced Tea Latte, and remember to be careful when using hot water and scissors!

Precure Secret Exchange 3/5: Cure Sparkle's Tiger Buns
For @precuresecretexchange our secret exchange partner was @olyollyoxenfree ! Taking some of their favorite yellow Cures, Butterfly (who they also have a soft spot for), and Kirakira Precure A La Mode as inspiration, I tried to come up with four "Animal Sweets" recipes to represent those cures, as well as a drawing of them making these sweets together with Cure Custard!
The drawing, when posted, will have all of these recipe posts linked back to.
This is the third part of that gift!
Cure Sparkle’s Tiger Buns
Let's・La・Mazemaze!
Recipe Difficulty: ★★☆
What you’ll need
The orange dough
1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast
1/3 cup warm water
1 tablespoon raw cane sugar
1 1/4 cup (160g) all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (100g) pumpkin puree
The white dough
1/4 cup (30g) all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon warm water
1/8 teaspoon active dry yeast
The black dough
1/4 cup (30g) all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon warm water
1/8 teaspoon active dry yeast
1 tablespoon Edible charcoal, or 1 tablespoon squid ink (if you have medications)
The red dough
1/4 cup (30g) all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon warm water
1/8 teaspoon active dry yeast
1 tablespoon ground red yeast rice
The Filling
Store-bought black sesame paste or red bean paste
Step One
We’ll start by making the orange dough. Dissolve the sugar in warm water, then add the yeast and let that dissolve. Set aside for 5 minutes.
Step Two
Mix the pumpkin puree and the yeast water we made in Step One with a pair of chopsticks or a fork until there is no loose flour. Knead the dough for 5-10 minutes until it is very smooth. You may need to add additional water.
Step Three
Put the dough in a mixing bowl and cover it with a paper towel or cloth. Leave it in a warm place for it to rise for one hour.
Step Four
Repeat Steps One to Three for the other colors of dough, replacing the pumpkin puree with the appropriate coloring for the black, white, and red.
Hinata Tip: Activated charcoal can mess with medication, but squid ink is another way to get that black color into dough!
Step Five
After all the dough has risen to twice their original size, knead again for 5 minutes to remove the air. They are now ready to be shaped into tigers.
Step Six
Shape black sesame paste into a ball and wrap it in some orange dough. Shape it as the face of the tiger. Garnish the tiger with the other colors of dough however you want.
Step Seven
After the dough is shaped, let it rise in the steamer in a warm place for another 20 minutes. Then, steam on high for ten minutes. Your tiger buns are ready to serve!
Enjoy your tiger buns, and remember that some food items can interact with your body in different ways, so always be careful with what you eat!

Precure Secret Exchange 2/5: Cure Twinkle's Peacock Donuts
For @precuresecretexchange our secret exchange partner was @olyollyoxenfree ! Taking some of their favorite yellow Cures, Butterfly (who they also have a soft spot for), and Kirakira Precure A La Mode as inspiration, I tried to come up with four "Animal Sweets" recipes to represent those cures, as well as a drawing of them making these sweets together with Cure Custard!
The drawing, when posted, will have all of these recipe posts linked back to.
This is the second part of that gift!
Cure Twinkle’s Peacock Donuts
Let's・La・Mazemaze!
Recipe Difficulty: ★★★
What you’ll need
For the Donuts
40g unsalted butter
70g caster sugar
1 beaten egg (Medium)
3 tbsp milk
Pinch of salt
200g plain flour
2 tsp baking powder
Appropriate amount of frying oil
For the Wafers
1 egg
55g cake flour
40g brown sugar
Vanilla extract
35g salted butter
For the Frosting
43g unsalted butter, melted
180g confectioner’s sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 tbsp milk
A pinch of salt
Purple food coloring
Yellow food coloring
Decoration
Yellow chocolate pen
Purple chocolate pen
4 Strawberries, halved
For our pre-preparation, we’ll bring our unsalted butter, milk, and eggs to room temperature, and sift together our plain flour and baking powder. We’ll also melt our salted butter.
Step One
We’ll begin with the wafers. Beat the egg in a bowl, then add the brown sugar and beat with a whisk until foamy.
Step Two
Add the butter and mix with a whisk until smooth, then sift in the cake flour and add the vanilla extract. Mix with a whisk. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes to an hour.
Step Three
Add a bit of vegetable oil to a pan and heat until the pan is hot. Then, place a tablespoon of the dough into the pan and spread it out into a thin circle with the back of the spoon. Cook and flip on either side until both sides are golden brown, and set aside to crisp up.
Step Four
We’ll now make the donuts themselves. Place the butter in a bowl, and beat with a rubber spatula until it’s smooth.
Step Five
Add the caster sugar to the beaten butter and mix well. then add half of the beaten eggs at a time. Then add the milk and salt in that order and mix with a whisk.
Step Six
Sift the flour and baking soda that we combined in the pre-preparation into the mixture we made in Step Five. Mix with a rubber spatula until no powder is visible. Then, once the dough is combined, wrap it in plastic wrap and rest in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
Step Seven
Sprinkle flour (not included in the recipe) onto a rolling board and divide the dough we made in Step Six into eight equal parts. Roll each piece of dough into a rod, and then join the ends to make a ring.
Kirara Tip: Press the ends together firmly, or they might come apart while frying.
Step Eight
Fry in 170°C oil for 3 to 4 minutes on each side until golden brown, then drain and cool.
Step Nine
We’ll now make the frosting. Whisk the melted butter, confectioners’ sugar, vanilla extract, 2 Tablespoons (30ml) of milk, and salt together in a medium bowl. Whisk in the remaining 1 Tablespoon (15ml) of milk to thin, if desired. Split into two separate bowls, coloring one with purple food coloring and one with yellow food coloring.
Step Ten
Dip one side of the donuts in the frosting, then move to a cooling rack to let it dry. Snap the wafers we made in Step Three into the shapes of a peacock tail and peacock neck, and press them into two opposite sides on the top of the donut.
Step Eleven
Dip your yellow and purple chocolate pens into hot water, and cut the tip. Use these to color the tail feathers of the peacock, and add small star shapes on top of the donut’s frosting. Finally, add the halved strawberry on top of the peacock’s neck to make its head. By using pre-made wafers and donuts, you can start with Decoration, on Step Nine.
Enjoy the peacock donuts, and remember to always be careful when frying in large amounts of hot oil, as it can spit!

Hi everyone!!
I really wanted to something fun this month, and something fun was trying to make one of the Animal Sweets we posted the recipe for a while back! Do you remember the Hamster Pumpkin Pudding? Well, we gave it a go! Me and Himari worked together on this one!
We didn't exactly find one of a large size, but I think the recipe conversion to this pumpkin's size still worked out! Does he look okay? I want to know how you think we did!
Enjoy our hamster pumpkin pudding!~

Melty chocolate filling!
Ichika did as she said she would and used the leftover dough for more cookies, this time with a melty chocolate filling! It looks so delicious to see the chocolate seep out from the middle of the cookie and onto the plate a little. They taste best when cooled enough to handle but warm enough for the chocolate to still be melted!
The plate of the extra cookies that Ichika made just here, you can see they're kinda more lumpy than the previous batch due to the filling - still have white chocolate chips and milk chocolate chunks though.
And the delicious melty chocolate center in the middle. So tasty, I'm getting fired up! I'm gonna have to have us make more of these in the future, they disappear dangerously fast.

Celebration!
Today is my in source birthday! (9th of March!)
For those of you that know we're a system and know of Precure birthdays, you'll know that's Hanadera Nodoka/Cure Grace! I'm not transformed right now, so I'm just going by Nodoka for the timebeing.
I'm really happy with how our celebration is going! Yui and Ichika made us a cake for it! I love how it looks and tastes, it's nice and sweet and chocolatey.
We still have some left over! There's too much to finish in a single day, but that's okay, because the thirteenth is Spicy's in-source birthday too. I'm glad that we have good bakers in the system, it's really convenient for when we're craving sweets.

Cake!
I'm really happy with what I achieved today! While handling some cleaning stuff, I also found some time to homebake a chocolate cake!
We forgot to pick up ingredients for frosting, but it still came out incredibly tasty! It was super moist, and while you usually cut cake crust off, this was a homebake, so it felt fine to leave on! I loved how sweet it was!
If you ever have the proper ingredients and good ways to measure, homebaking can bring happiness and joy to your week! A whole cake like this can last me for the week, if we count it as one slice per day as a treat! Look up some baking recipes! Enjoy whatever tasty sweets you can! Let your kirakiraru from your sweets bring you happiness!

Homebake Cookies!
I got an urge to make some homebake cookies yesterday, so I made them! They have milk chocolate chunk and white chocolate chip fillings! I'm going to use the leftover cookie dough to make chocolate spread filled cookies, since I had a flash of inspiration yesterday with that! It's always when nice when cookies have a nice melty chocolate center, don't you think?
Here's the ones I made yesterday!
Baked from scratch! I hope they look tasty enough!

Precure Secret Exchange 1/5: Cure Yum-Yum's Dragon Darsaan
For @precuresecretexchange our secret exchange partner was @olyollyoxenfree ! Taking some of their favorite yellow Cures, Butterfly (who they also have a soft spot for), and Kirakira Precure A La Mode as inspiration, I tried to come up with four "Animal Sweets" recipes to represent those cures, as well as a drawing of them making these sweets together with Cure Custard!
The drawing, when posted, will have all of these recipe posts linked back to.
This is the first part of that gift!
Cure Yum-Yum’s Dragon Darsaan
Let's・La・Mazemaze!
Recipe Difficulty: ★★★
What you’ll need
For the Noodles
1tbsp Vegetable Oil
250g/1 Cup All purpose flour
¼ tsp Baking Powder
¼ Cup Water
For the Honey Syrup
1 tbsp sesame seed
1 tbsp water
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp honey
For the Waffles
281g/2 ¼ Cup All purpose Flour
2 ½ tbsp caster sugar
Pinch of salt
4 tsp baking powder
315ml/1 ⅓ cup milk, slightly warmed
½ tsp vanilla essence
4 large eggs
150g unsalted butter, slightly melted
Decoration
1 scoop of your favorite ice cream (though vanilla is used most often)
For our Pre-preparation, preheat a waffle iron!
Step One
We’ll begin with the noodles! In a bowl, add your flour and baking powder, and mix. Then, add your oil, and start adding your water little by little to knead a soft dough. Cover it, and let it rest for twenty minutes.
Step Two
Divide the dough in half, and dust flour (not included in the recipe) onto a surface. Roll the dough into two thin 9 inch circles, using a rolling pin. Then, cut into thin wonton noodle shapes, making sure they’re not too thick, so that they don’t puff up.
Step Three
Heat oil in a wok and gently put the strips to fry on a medium-low flame (you don’t need to keep them straight, put them in roughly!). Once they turn golden, remove the noodles onto a paper towel to absorb any extra oil. Snap some noodles to try and make dragon horn and dragon whisker shapes!
Ran-Ran tip: Be careful when frying anything, as oil can sometimes splash!
Step Four
We’ll now start on the waffles, as they’ll take longer than the syrup. Place the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt into a large mixing bowl, and whisk together.
Step Five
Add the milk, eggs, and vanilla to the dry mixture, and whisk to combine. Add the melted butter and whisk until there are no more lumps. The batter should be pourable, but thick, slightly thinner than pancakes!
Step Six
Use a ladle to add your batter to your waffle iron, cooking it until golden and crisp as per the instructions on your waffle iron. Don’t overfill it. Once the waffles are cooked, remove them, and cut them into semi-circles, with semi-circles removed from the middle, and set aside for later.
Step Seven
Now we’ll make the honey syrup that we’ll pour over our noodles. Roast your sesame seeds in a pan on medium-low heat, then set them aside.
Step Eight
Add the water and sugar to a pan and bring to a boil. Once the syrup has come to a boil, add the roast sesame seeds back in, along with the honey, and turn off the heat, as the sauce can thicken fast.
Step Nine
Place the crispy noodles from Step Three into a bowl or onto a plate, and add the semi-circle waffles from Step Six sideways, as though creating a dragon’s back. Quickly pour the syrup made in Step Eight over the waffles and noodles to coat them before it thickens.
Step Ten
Add the ice cream to the bowl or plate, in front of one of the waffles to make the dragon’s head. Use the noodles we snapped off earlier to create the whiskers and horns of the dragon, and serve.
Enjoy the Dragon Darsaan! Remember to always be careful when working with hot oil!
