pouring one out for the last two auks, the final hope for their species (icelandic penguins hunted to extinction), strangled to death by some dudes who showed up on their island in a rowboat in june of 1844 and not only killed them but broke the only auk egg left in existence, proving mankind to truly be just as legitimate of a mass extinction inflicting catastrophe as the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs and prompting legislation to protect seabirds during breeding season. i hope they enjoy this strawberry smirnoff in bird heaven and one day attain justice when corvids and parrots at last defeat mankind amen
