Sigh. Well since you asked.

I've been running around in the same area, encountering pokemon, trying to find the different colored version of seedot. There is a 20% chance of finding a seedot in this location. Each pokemon encounter has a 1/8192 chance of being the special colored version (shiny). Over the span of 13 months, I have seen a total of 61k pokemon and counting. I'm still looking to this day. I was gonna say I've found 3 of these different colored pokemon (just not seedot and honestly still horrible luck if you look at shiny per encounters) BUT GUESS WHO FOUND ANOTHER SHINY POOCHYENA TODAY *falls over*

So yes, this "cute" creature is actually devious, a troll, and continues to haunt me by not showing up in its slighty more reddish form. >:[

Me hitting generate on that pokemon post and getting seedot first try (which is a 1 out of 1025 chance of happening) is just pure salt to the wound

The idea of the champions finding the Reader when they reincarnate is actually heavily inspired by Pair of Kings S01Ep01.

Not the reincarnation portion itself, but the way they found the kings was so memorable, it may as well be one version of how the champions found a Reader at some point.

Experience this morning:

After my food is served they come over and say:

Ok, we've found someone who can carry you up to the bathroom (???)

I say no thank you that is not safe for me (or anyone?????)

They apologize a bunch and comp my meal

Later I was talking to my partner about it and realized that I was imagining they would carry me without my wheelchair (feasible but dangerous and very uncomfortable and awkward to boot) and my partner said, "oh, I thought they meant carrying you IN your wheelchair" (folding wheelchair, SO much more dangerous and not very feasible without a very large stairwell), which blew my mind. We will never know but apparently to an abled perspective it is not immediately obvious that lifting someone in their wheelchair is very dangerous and shouldn't be attempted.

Silly Game Time: Are you a fan of the mystery/detective genre? If so, what's a story of that genre (movie, show, book, game, etc.) you really like, and why?

It could be a more dramatic one, a more comedic one, a cross-genre one (fantasy or sci-fi or romance or western, etc.) so long as the main focus of the plot is the mystery to unravel!

Don't get me wrong, I think I've consumed a handful of mystery media, however, the likes are very reduced in this case because sometimes I'm in a very weird spot between "I just want to be silly"✨ and "I'll take this seriously" and then there's also the issue that many times I end up knowing the answers in sheer gut feeling.

That said-

I really love some of Shu Takumi's works because they're a perfect mix for me and even in these times when I go "Oh, I totally know the answer" it's just so fun seeing everything go down because it's funny.

aw man, don't even get me started on kiriko. or do, because in the world where both magic and science are known to mess with people and time they could've easily come up with SOME explanation for the age thing but they just... didn't. did they not realize that something was off or did they just not care? there were some plot holes before, some character interactions that maybe didn't straight up contradict each other but felt like the person writing the lines didn't read any of the previous interactions. BUT what they did with kiriko was just... how do you mess up this bad?

like there's writing kinda wonky plot points and the sort but fumbling something as massive as the AGES of your characters when they're pivotal parts of the story like.... not even one or two years off we're talking TEN at most now im no author or even the best story teller but i'd at least make sure my ducks are in a row when it comes to making sure my characters aren't sparring with a zygote
