But before I ramble, I just wanna say I’m gonna go into spoilers that connect to the ENTIRETY of Disventure Camp; that includes Seasons 1, 2, 3/All Stars, both spinoffs, and I also go into S4’s audition videos and its first 3 episodes. I really love this series a lot and I rlly don’t wanna spoil stuff when it comes to all the LGBTQ+ centric parts of the show since they do relate to prominent plots from all the seasons and especially one of the spinoffs.

Also warning for QSMP spoilers, but uh… if ya knew me prior to this year, you probably wouldn’t have needed that :p

All I’m gonna say before we go into spoilers is that Spiderbit and TomJake give me similar vibes :D

So I’ve been thinking about my main fixations (QSMP & Disventure Camp) recently

Like yeah, both of them have their differences; QSMP’s a minecraft roleplay server and Disventure Camp’s an animated web series that essentially an animated reality show in the vain of Total Drama (I even saw some people mistaking it for a new Total Drama season too lol)

But there’s a bunch of similarities between them too; They’re both created by people with Latin-American roots, I’m aware that there are a bunch of flaws within both of them for a lot of things but I love them both nonetheless, I joined Twitter mainly to see more fanart about both of them, etc.

Also they both have a lot of LGBTQ+ representation :D

• Bro they started off calling each other “guapito” & “gatinho” for shits and giggles, BUT THEN SHIT BETWEEN THEM STARTS GETTING ROMANTIC AND NOW THOSE ARE STRAIGHT UP PETNAMES THEY USE TO TAKE ABOUT ONE ANOTHER

• They literally had an argument, called off the wedding they were going to have, and ended up getting back together to have a date like a day after.

• CELLBIT FIRST PROPOSED TO ROIER WITH A DONUT INSTEAD OF A RING TO IMPROVISE SINCE RINGS COULDN’T BE CRAFTED DESPITE ALL THE MODS QSMP HAS. BUT AFTER THEIR PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED DATE, CELLBIT PROPOSED TO ROIER AGAIN. USING A DONUT. INTENTIONALLY

• AND ROIER ACCEPTSSSSS

• Cellbit said he’d kill anyone that speaks about the elections before/during his wedding, but when Roier asks if he could talk about the elections he’s like “Yeah, sure. Talk about whatever you want guapito” (FUCKING GAYYYYY)

• THEIR WEDDING STRAIGHT UP CHANGED MY FUCKING BRAIN CHEMISTRY

• “Roier, you… were the first person I saw when I arrived on this island. In the midst of all that chaos… you were the first one to appear in the crowd. And ever since I saw your smile… I knew… I would never forget it. When I needed someone the most… when I was completely alone… you showed up. • also side note; I’m really happy that they got married early on in QSMP’s storyline. Like usually with LGBT couples, they get together around the end of a story/series. But with QSMP, they speedran this gay shit since Cellbit only joined the server 2-ish months prior to his & Roier’s wedding kkkkkkkkk

• THEY HAVE HEALTHY COMMUNICATION? AND HURT/COMFORT? AND FLUFF? AND FUCKED UP MORALS? AND THEY’RE MURDER HUSBANDS? FUCK YEAH I LOVE THAT SHIT

• But yeah, capital letters aside, Cellbit and Roier have a really great relationship, and their dynamic (which extends to their respective CCs) is so fun to watch, and the fact that they’re both willing to commit first-degree murder together is simultaneously kinda fucked up & wholesome

• I could honestly talk about those two for an entire essay and about how Purgatory is non-existent to me, but we got other stuff to talk about

• Seeing Fitpac‘s slow burn tested my patience and ruined the word roommates for me, but OH MY GOD WERE ALL THE MOMENTS IN BETWEEN SO GREAT

• “I’m on Quesadilla Island, on very important business, and it’s like- yeah I.. I like Pac…” THIS SHIT MADE ME SO FUCKING HAPPY WHEN I FIRST HEARD HIM ADMIT IT

• Fit’s character as a nomad/mercenary from 2b2t (THE OLDEST ANARCHY SERVER IN MINECRAFT-) being sent onto quesadilla island for money and a chance for freedom with the warning to not get attached to anyone, yet gaining feelings for another guy despite that alongside his implied internalized homophobia is just. I need a minute guys

• Also hats off to Ramon & Richarlyson for basically encouraging Fit & Pac respectively to get their gay shit together. They’re two of my favourite eggs for a reason >:D (alongside Chunsik ofc. But if ya seen my AO3 works that’d be kinda obvious :>)

• DURING THE CONFESSION, FIT WENT OUT OF HIS GODAMN WAY TO SAY “I LIKE YOU” TO PAC IN PORTUGUESE

• HE COULD’VE JUST SAID IT IN ENGLISH, BUT HE DECIDED TO CONFESS IN PAC’S NATIVE LANGUAGE

• AND THE FIRST DATE????? THAT SHIT WAS SO WHOLESOME BRO. FIT BROUGHT PAC TO A MOVIE THEATRE TO WATCH STEAMBOAT WILLIE, AND BROUGHT HIM TO A SECLUDED AREA FOR A DINNER DATE

• Pac was willing to give Fit his player data for his mission, he was down BAD for that bald man

• also they gimme a lot of fluff & hurt/comfort vibes, I love that trope sm :D

• Bagina’s rlly cute :3 Their kiss (technically Tina just pecked Bagi on the cheek BUT IT COUNTS TO ME) from the 7th of December was so wholesome :D

• Also they had a smol date prior to that kiss and it was nice! Bagi changed her skin just for it, Dapper & Bad were like waiters during it, y’know, all that cute stuff :D

• TINA TRIED HIDING HER DEMON HERITAGE TO THE POINT OF SHAVING OFF HER HORNS, BUT BAGI STILL FIGURED IT OUT AND STILL LOVED HER DESPITE THAT

• Since James fell off during All Stars (HE WENT FROM WINNING A SEASON TO BEING FIRST FUCKING BOOT LMAOOOOOO), we didn’t get much of them together (;-;), BUT WHAT WE DID GET WAS AIDEN CALLING JAMES HIS HUBBY (plz get a room), AND THEM KISSING TWO MORE TIMES, AND I AM NOT COMPLAINING >:D

• also it’s implied that they were… doing stuff

THAT WAS SO CUTE (Extra context incase yall forgot: James won the motel challenge from the episode prior where eliminated contestants had to search for 1 of 3 totems to become a helper for 1 of 3 finalists. The challenge for ep 20 involved the three helpers [including James] & the finalists going into a cave to obtain diamonds and shit goes wrong. But nobody ended up dying, so its fineeeee)

• Trevek’s storyline could’ve been handled better during All Stars, but them being really cute together in their spinoff episode and in the recent DC4 episodes honestly gives them a pass for me

• THEY WERE LITERALLY ROOMMATES AND ENEMIES TO LOVERS LMAO

• Also they’re based off of the two guys that co-created Disventure Camp (they’re also married btw, good for them) so that’s cute :D

• Also Huntally mention even tho it’s a “hetero” ship because Ally’s Bisexual and Hunter’s Pansexual. They’re a great couple, and their kiss during the All Stars finale was cute :D

• There’s some potential gay pairings/characters in Season 4/Carnival of Chaos AND I LOVE IT

• Anarissa and Diencer are so canon. It’s only been three episodes but Marissa already called Anastasia pretty, and Diego keeps staring at Spencer like he wants that cookie so effing bad. Also both of these pairings are on a nickname basis so yknow :>

• i gotta mention my faves Tristan & Hannah being Non-binary and Bisexual respectively >:D

• Also Natalia’s transfem and already has some of the best quotes of the season. I hope she makes it far :D

• Logan’s definitely gonna have a plot that’ll culminate with him realizing he’s bi, which’ll most definitely involve him going to Richard for advice since he’s also into sports & happily married to his husband AND I AM ALL FOR IT >:D

• There’s also a lot more subtle-ish LGBTQ+ rep in throughout Disventure Camp too. A bunch of other characters from the first 2 seasons like Lake, Dan, Tess, & Karol were confirmed to be Lesbian, Asexual, Bisexual, etc thanks to some Pride Month promo art (side note: the pride month art for 2024 included James & Aiden having their respective flags tied together and it’s the cutest shit ever). And during the auditions that were posted prior to S4, Jade mentions she has two moms, and Richard talks about his husband and how he loves him a lot(aw :D)

• where the fuck do I start with tomjake

• They really had a 2 season long “will they, won’t they” plot but it was so worth it in the end

• They were canon the moment Miriam teased Jake about him liking Tom during episode 6. Argue with the wall /j

• TOM HID HIS SCARS BECAUSE HE THINKS THEY’RE HIDEOUS, JAKE TELLS HIM HE LOOKS GOOD, TOM THINKS HE’S LYING, AND THEN JAKE KISSES HIM, HE KISSES HIM BACK, AND AFTER THEY PULL AWAY, JAKE SAYS HE ISN’T. MY GODDDDDDD

• I don’t wanna talk about Season 1 Episode 10

• “No matter what, I’m glad a met you Tom.” “Same here Jake.” WHAT IF I TMMYTOWERED

• AND THEN TOM ENDED UP GHOSTING JAKE FOR TWO ENTIRE YEARS UNTIL THEY REUNITED IN ALL STARS OVER STUFF ILL MENTIONED LATER

• THAT SCENE IN EPISODE 12 OF ALL STARS FUCKED ME UP. I ESSENTIALLY JUST GOT INTO THE SERIES RECENTLY AND THEY FUCKING HIT ME WITH THAT

• I HAD TO IMPATIENTLY WAIT 3 GODAMN MONTHS FOR THEM TO GET TOGETHER. THAT FELT LIKE WAITING FOR FITPAC TO MAKE A MOVE ALL OVER AGAIN

• I WAS SO HAPPY OVER FINDING OUT TOM STILL LOVED JAKE AFTER ALL THAT TIME AND WAS PLANNING TO ASK JAKE OUT DURING THE MOTEL EPISODE

• LITERALLY MY FAVOURITE SCENE FROM THE ALL STARS FINALE WAS THE TOMJAKE CONFESSION (besides Fiore flipping Riya off ofc)

• I’m not copypasting Tom’s confession to Jake even though I did it with the spiderbit vows, but I was cheering so fucking hard when he finally told Jake he liked him

• TOM REALLY THOUGHT THERE WAS A CHANCE THAT JAKE DIDNT FEEL THE SAME WAY FOR HIM ANYMORE, BUT JAKE THEN PROCEEDED TO SHUT THAT SHIT DOWN AND KISS HIM, AND THEN HE KISSES HIM BACK, AND I SCREAMED “YES!” FROM THE TOP OF MY LONGS WHEN I SAW THIS PREMIERE LIVE

• AND THEN THEY KISSED AGAIN AFTER JAKE LOST AND THEY ALSO SAID THEY WERE GONNA SPEND SO MUCH OVERDUE TIME TOGETHER.

• THEY ENDED UP GOING TO A CHINESE RESTAURANT FOR A DATE AS A CALLBACK TO SEASON 1 EPISODE 4 WHEN THEY TALKED ABOUT GOING THERE WHEN THE SHOW ENDED

• Do NOT get me started on their spinoff. I LOVED IT SO FUCKING MUCH

• THE FIRST EPISODE IS MAINLY ABOUT WHAT TOM DID AFTER SEASON 1 AND IT ALL BASICALLY CULMINATES IN HIM SAYING HE WAS WORRIED THAT THE ONE GOOD THING THAT HAPPENED TO HIM (MEETING JAKE) WOULD END UP FAILING, AND THEN THE EPISODE ENDS SHOWING US WHAT JAKE AND TOM HAVE BEEN UP TO POST-ALL STARS AND JAKE TELLING TOM HE LOVES HIM, AND THEN THEY KISS AGAIN AND AAAAAAKAJXIAOQOWNDNDS

• I really like their scenes together in episode 2 & 3. I’m a sucker for domestic bliss and hurt/comfort :D

• TOM LITERALLY WENT BACK TO GET THE CARVED HEART WITH HIS AND JAKE’S INITIALS, AND AFTER IT BROKE, JAKE REPAIRED IT WITH GOLD RESIN AND GIFTED IT TO TOM AFTER HE BROUGHT THEM TO THE SAME PLACE THEY HAD THEIR FIRST KISS. YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS SHIT UP

• AND THEN THEIR SPINOFF ENDED WITH JAKE PROPOSING TO TOM, AND HE… uh yeah he basically accepts it by fainting out of joy ig. Also Jake cuddles up with him and the spinoff ends showing the (now fixed) carved heart

• also if you want my opinions on the double greetings, I just wanna say 1) pretty great idea imo. A lot of fan service potential since you get to bring two characters together to banter, and even kiss in the case said characters are canonically together, 2) the money used to buy said greetings go into funding for the show and everyone that works in it, which is great, and 3) yes, my favourite ones involve Gabellie, Jaiden, & Tomjake kissing

So basically tl;dr is that I’m proooobably a fujoshi (/j), and my relationship standards are fucking higher than Q!Mike after trying kelp cocaine thanks to all this web media yaoi

You cannot tell me that the absolute ray of sunshine that toddler izuku is would not be like, “oh my gosh, animals, I can understand animals, can they understand me? Do they like me? If I talk to them, will I be talking in bird or do they understand Japanese? I’ll get you seeds!!!!! I wonder if it’s all animals or just birds? I wonder-“ and his brain is going a mile a minute while he just runs into the kitchen trying to ask his mom if they have any bird seed

A very confused inko gives him some bird seed and asks if he’s okay, and he’s trying to articulate that he thinks he got his quirk, but he’s an excited 4 year old with adhd, who just heard and understood a bird and is thinking about what this means for his future career as a hero, so give him a moment

He does tell her what happened, and she asks him what the bird is saying and if the bird can understand them, and he says that they can, and he’s just so happyyyyyy

Angst time, because I am a horrible person /j

Hisashi Midoriya is not happy because the quirk is likely a mutation of some kind as it doesn’t have anything to do with fire breath or attracting small objects

So, he does a deadbeat dad thing and dips

Izuku feels so guilty over it, but he can’t bring himself to hate his quirk (good) he gets to talk to animals! He can help them!!

Inko makes sure to tell him that it isn’t his fault and that he shouldn’t blame himself

Family angst is over!

So, our dearest son, izuku feral Midoriya, 10000% sneaks animals into the entrance exam

I like to imagine that he went to the park beforehand and talked to a shit ton of squirrels and chipmunks and asked them to help him with the entrance exam if they could. He brings them food as a peace offering (irl you shouldn’t feed wild animals, I know this, izuku knows this, but he can tell them why they shouldn’t rely on humans for food, we cannot, so just bare with me)

But yes. Just imagine izuku giving a war cry to all the rodents that are, for reasons unknown to anyone but izuku, standing around the gates of the exam area, and suddenly like,,,, 3 dozen rodents just start running in and tearing wires out of robots

Koda and izuku are fast friends who bond over their love and respect for animals

They both have anxiety too and are the only (at the beginning) members of class a who know/use JSL!

Okay, something that just popped into my head because I was thinking of how he’d use this quirk in the sports festival, and all I could think of was like,,, Pokémon trainer izuku

And honestly,,, kinda love that

Like, he’s just in the little ring with shinsou (does shinsou’s quirk work on animals?? Like, if he asked a cat a question and even if they don’t understand him, they still meow at him, would they be under his control?) anyway, I’m assuming shinsou’s quirk doesn’t work on animals. So, izuku just brings in a fucking bear who he bribed with salmon earlier and shinsou is like, “wow. Fuck.”

But anyway. I like to imagine that izuku has a shit ton of bird houses outside his window at home, and this continues when they move into the dorms

Aizawa finds him one night talking to a cat in an alleyway, and he’s worried for his problem child being in an alleyway at night and why is he here???? And then, he sees the cat and understands.

Mic goes to check on the class a dorms the next day because his husband never came back last night and he might’ve run into trouble with his hell class, only to walk in on the green bean and his husband smuggling a cat on campus

Shota, you’re a teacher. What are you doing?

He had to. Don’t worry about it. It’ll be fine.

I’ve been (mostly) quiet about the show… I know 😙

(Long rant and kind of a spoiler-ish review ahead)

I’m sorry it’s just that I’m soooo HAPPYYYYYY 🤩

🥹🥹🥹

I’m literally crying gosh, the first season was just so beautiful 😭😭😭

I cant believe I’m saying this but Barbie: A Touch of Magic, despite having a lot of elements geared towards young children, is by far the BEST WRITTEN series of the Barbie vlogs universe!!! (In my opinion FYI) No joke!

At first I wasn’t totally sold with the overall theme (magic and pegasus), but I ABSOLUTELY LOVED how they balanced it out with the current canon elements of the universe, and built it up some more without compromising the past events of Barbie’s adventures and the existing lore.

Art style wise, they pretty much continued with the designs from Skipper’s Babysitting Adventure movie, so there’s not much change. The animation is a lot smoother and the detailing is immaculate. Also the colors are a lot more vibrant and saturated than in Dreamhouse Adventures and It Takes Two.

I also love that i got to see Malibu, California being the main setting of this series again. And also lot of important characters from Dreamhouse Adventures made an appearance again. Especially the The Malibu squad and Trey (my beloved) who got back their recurring roles in the episodes

Like the gang was literally back together again. My heart I cant— 😩 ❤️

Rocki the Glyph is a walking disaster lol but her quirkiness is easy to like and she’s hilarious (love that for her)

BUT THE MOST AMAZING THING…

and if you’ve been following me for a while then you know how obsessed I am with Barbie and Ken’s slowburn relationship in this universe.

So I’m so happy to say that the writers finally—FINALLY—did KARBIE JUSTICE!!! They wrote actual storylines that I’m 99% sure will lead to Ken and Barbie’s canon dating era in the series (not half-baked and determinant like in Epic Road Trip)

I would like to thank the queen ANN AUSTEN for a splendid job overseeing this season. I know she had a lot of influence in handling Ken and Barbie’s story in the show.

OMYGOSH you guys have no idea how many times I cried and scream in joy. The plot points and tropes I’ve always wanted Mattel and Mainframe Studios to do for Karbie since I became hooked on this show and universe… THEY. CAME. TRUE 😭

It was like I was holding a bingo card and I was crossing a box out every episode. The was cute, there was sweet, there was even ANGST, lol could you imagine my surprise those specific scenes?!?! 😅

Ugh and don’t get me started when Barbie and Ken finally went out on their FIRST DATE. OMG, that episode was just *chef’s kiss* 💋 🤌 I’m so proud of my babies for finally reaching that stage 🥲

I’m just amazed they finally stopped being super shy about wanting to become more than friends and acknowledging their romantic feelings towards one another and doing something about it.

I guarantee this will make all you long-time Karbie fans very happy once you guys watch the series too. ☺️❤️

I am proud of myself for writing a dance piece in my story. It's again from the apsara book and the dance piece is inspired from monsoon thunderstorms. I was overwhelmed because I cannot include technical Indian music and dance terms everywhere to explain and then describing a tihai, sam, and mudra does get difficult because I had to use metaphors adjectives and body movements to explain but I somehow did it

The dancer in me is happy. I rarely get pleased over my works but this one did make me feel so happyyyyyy

Alrighty, alright- as happy as I am receiving your message (like, full on jumping from joy over here, lol), I can't ignore the core question here, soooooooooo-

The Witch of Disco, with an unfettered nature. So far, I'm still working on her name and the intricate details (heck, she might be due a redesign in the near future), but the core idea is that the magical girl she used to be might have been a young lady who was around during the 1970's; an African-American gal who wished to learn more of her roots and spread the gift of knowledge to those around her in new, invigorating ways; especially when considering how much Disco was been influenced by the the African-Americans, Latin-Americans, and those within the LGBTQ+ community who helped skyrocket its popularity.

Of course, there did come judgement from privileged folk who don't seem too keen on anything "tainting" their picture-perfect, clear suburbs with these "indecent" images and "backwards" beliefs. In spite of the passing of the Civil Rights Act in 1964, you bet some assholes were as pissed over sharing their spaces with those different from them as they still are now. Perhaps the witch, due to her desire to learn about her roots to begin with and preserve this very knowledge, was also heavily affected- a freedom fighter in her own way, if you will. I think she witched out while trying to make sure her own family wasn't affected by such hate, but, of course, she could preserve so much knowledge- but she couldn't even prevent the lives of her colleagues and kin slip from her fingers by these pathetic excuses of human beings.

Incredibly, and quite frustratingly, simple concept, I am aware- I will do my best to expand upon her story and even come up with an actual name for her, tho- that's a promise!

I kinda came up with the basic idea of the witch on the spot while writing down the Descent to Despair; initially, I wanted to create a completely unrelated witch related to the dangers of mass-industrialization and just existed as a simple homage to Dr. Eggman's creations from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. As I was in the midst of writing, tho, the theme of Stardust Speedway's bad ending came up, and I was immediately inspired to create a labyrinth that was akin to a busy city full of neon lights, a witch that danced to the beat of that song, and, before I knew it, I was looking up disco dances on YT as reference while I wrote the battle sequence! It was a fun experience; 10/10, would do it again!

I even made quick, albeit basic, picrew mockups of her magi form! God, I can't wait to showcase my list of witch OCs and work on them further ;w;

Of course, I am not African-American myself, so if there's anyone out there who'd like to correct me on what I wrote, or if there's anything that is deemed stereotypical or even harmful present, please, please, PLEASE let me know!!! /srs My aim here is to integrate real-world history and the impact such dire events had on marginalized folk that still persist to this day, so if I ever made a harmful fuckup, do not be afraid to tell me; I'll get to fixing it as soon as I could.

Skid goes about his daily life in the care of his adoptive father, Kevin—though of course as always with him, shenanigans ensue.

Chapter 9: Deadly Smiles - Part 1.

It was a regular night as blackness enveloped the sky above, the stars speckled across it like a galaxy trailed to the brim with them as if something had ran across it, and left a thousand footsteps in the process. And under the cold night air, and the faith smell of grass from all of the residents frontyards—had been Kevin's regular suburban home.

And deep within the home—sitting in front of the couch with his doll sitting next to him was Skid. Skid eagerly kicked his feet as he stared at the screen—hearing the faint sound of Kevin chattering one the phone in the nearby hallway.

After a while of staring, Skid widened his eyes—and exclaimed, "Oh, it-sa starting! It-sa starting!"

He kicked his feet again, leaning foward as he watched. On the screen was a little doll in a grayish blue hat, and grayish blue pajamas. He let out a sigh. "..I don't wanna do anything." He pressed his fuzzy hand against his cheek. "..I'm so sad, and so miserable."

On the screen, it cut to the door, and then—a mascot with a happy grin in a Happy Fella costume busted in. It cheerfully shouted—it's voice high-pitched and even slightly annoying. "Woah! Someone's saaaaaaaadddd!" It grinned as it leaned foward.

The little doll in the blue hat turned around slowly, asking, "..who are you?"

"I am a happy fella—" It explained, "And I came to make my Fella happyyyyyy!"

"..how am I supposed to be happy?"

"Just smile! Fake it until you make it!"

There was a pause, and the little doll frowned.

"..you want me to be happy—because yes?"

The bigger doll paused, and only gave a frown in returns, before its smile faded back into its lips. "Of course!"

The little doll sighed. "..sickness is everywhere. Everyone dies everyday. Everything is crumbling. How can I be happy?"

"Oh, you dummy!" The larger doll grinned, throwing an arm around the smaller doll. "You are looking only at the bad! Say—what good have you looked for yourself?"

"..to be honest—" The smaller doll quietly spoke, "—nothing."

"Then—how about we go out and find some fun and good stuff?!"

The smaller doll paused, and a weak smile came to its lips. "..okay. I'll give it a try."

Skid smiled as his eyes remained on the screen. From behind him on the sofa unknowingly though—was Kevin's head slowly peeking in from the doorframe. His hand gripped the doorframe, and he let out a groan. He stepped back into the corridor, and leaned against the wall. Going to work tonight wasn't exactly what he wanted to do, but.. he kind of had to. After all, apparently the person who normally covered for him couldn't make it, so he would be sort of forced.

Pressing his phone to his ear, he heard a high-pitched but masculine voice speak from it.

"What is it, dude?"

"..nothing, Radford. My.. the kid I've been looking after has just been kinda acting weird ever since he got that doll."

"What do you mean?"

"He's—well, he asked if we could get a cat. And he—he doesn't even like cats! He said that.. doll wanted one or something. And.. sometimes I feel like that doll might be watching me. It—it never seems to just look away."

"Well, I mean.. he is a kid, dude. He might just be making stuff up! My baby sister plays pretend all the time."

"..yeah. Maybe." Kevin sighs. "Sorry. Works just been kinda getting to me, I guess. An—Anyway—I should probably go. I need to do another shift for tonight."

"Uh—alright! Well, see you, dude!"

"Yeah.. see you later."

He then sighed, and clicked a button on the phone. The phone let out a slight beep, and he walked back into the living room. He spoke aloud—"Uh, hey—kid?"

"Yeah, Kevin?"

"I need to go do work stuff, so I'll probably be letting you go stay at your friends house again til I'm back. Is.. that okay with you?"

"Hahah! Yes!"

Skid cheerfully grinned. He practically hopped off of the couch. Kevin felt a faint smile begin to form on his lips, "Okay.. go put your sweater on, alright?"

"Haha—I can't wait to play with him again!"

Kevin rolled his eyes with a soft smile, and walked out of the room as Skid ran to retrieve his sweater. Yet the chilling feeling Kevin got around the doll never really faded as he left off toward the door.

It.. was probably nothing. He probably just felt exhausted from work or something.

Mr. Wonder had heard a soft knocking against the door as he walked slowly through the tiled floors of the house. He tiredly blinked. Moving toward the door, he lifted his head upward—approaching to see who could possibly be visiting at this hour.

As soon as he stopped in front of it, his hand gripped the door, and he opened it. And.. fortunately, it seemed to be two familiar faces. The child his grandson had always played with, and the young man who happened to be the boys new father. Or.. well, adoptive father. For whatever reason, he appeared to be in that one candy store down-towns uniform.

"Uh.. hi—" The young man, Kevin, had spoke. "Sorry we're here so late. I just wanted to ask if you'd be alright with looking after.." He paused, "Well—you know, him again." He looked down at the child, who only eagerly looked up at him a bright smile.

"Sure!" Mr. Wonder replied in a friendly manner "No proble—wah!"

The child had suddenly dashed in, his sweater and ear-muffs, and.. his.. doll falling to the floor as he practically threw them off. He ran toward his grand-son—who had already practically been waiting for him incase he'd visit.

The two grinned, beaming in unison. "Ayy!"

They both began to throw their hands from side to side, doing the same little dance they'd always do. Kevin looked at them both from the doorframe, and let out a sigh.

"Uh.. thanks, sir. I'll be back as soon as I can." He gave a faint, thin line of a smile as he began to turn.

"No problem, Mr. Kevin." Mr. Wonder smiled back. He then slowly shut the door, and tiredly began to turn around, walking back toward his brown chair that sat in the living room. Once he approached it, he sat down upon it with a groan.

"Alright, kids—don't cause any trouble!" Mr. Wonder spoke, his soft voice becoming a little stern.

He heard them pause, and then speak to eachother from behind.

"Let's go draw!" The child had cheerfully suggested.

"I don't have colors.." His grandson sadly said.

There was another pause.

"But I can ask my sister!" His grandson added.

"Oh, yes, yes!"

Mr. Wonder began to hear their faint little footsteps becoming more distant, presumably because they ran off to go ask his grand-daughter if she had any colors. And in the slightly lonely area of the living room, the doll the child had left behind sat on the floor with a blank stare in its eyes.

Mr. Wonder sighed, and looked back at the TV, feeling his eyes begin to drift shut.

"No."

That was immediately the answer they received from Susie the moment she opened the door with a stern look on her face.

Pump whined, "But I haven't even asked!"

"..okay. Go on." Susie softly sighed.

"..can we—"

"No."

The door slammed shut.

"..what now?" Skid asked.

Pump paused, and then a mischevious grin made its way unto his lips. "Let's get 'em!"

Skid smiled in return, and the two began to giggle—not noticing the strange presence walking past from behind.
