Okay I have yet to see anyone use the comment Finn made about this season to back up that Byler won’t be unrequited. I figured I should bring it up to help others like me spiraling back n forth on the matter.

So (in the video interview I saw and will try to find) he mentioned it being “like the ending of Schitt’s Creek”.. which is legit about a Pansexual man being some dudes first guy that he’s with and they are quoted saying something along the lines of:

Guy who has never kissed a guy but likes him back: “I’m finally feeling the feelings you’re supposed to”

Guy who has been confirmed queer who kisses him because other one was too afraid to:“I never kissed someone I cared about”…. //never fell in love (Will says he’ll never fall in love)

I’m sorry y’all life’s been busy and I still haven’t been able to find the interview vid. But can we just. Like from S4 onward thus far it’s soooo Byler energy in Schitts creek. Got a vid of this part cause I kinda freaked with how perf the vibes are tho. He knew what he was sayin in that interview cause literally WHAT ELSE COULD HE HAVE MEANT!?!?!

more specific bruce yamada headcanons

– is known for humming/whistling on his bike as he rides around the town (totally not stolen by @inveinity !!) i definitely feel like he does little head bangs and sways as he rides.

– takes his friends on bike rides just for fun. he's always ready to pick someone up. the most reliable friend, the moment you need help he's already biking over. he's at your house in under 5 minutes.

– bruce lets vance ride on his handlebars or on the back of the seat anywhere vance needs. free taxi! (this has been in my mind for days and idk. something is so important to me about bruce tooting his friends around out of the goodness of his heart... he should install a coin dispenser fr.)

– joins in on character strength debates and is quite serious about them. one of the rare times you'll ever see him so heated. billy & griffin start strength debates just to see the absolute disgust on bruce's face when they suggest the world's worst comic fight imaginable. ("the joker would most definitely–finney, stop laughing–he would definitely beat batman when he's a baby. that's not even a fight, that's a murder–")

– loves calling. would be one of those relatives that keep you on the phones for 10 minutes just asking questions about your day, school, home life, the weather. he just loves to check in.

– a morning person. an annoying morning person who's up by 6 and is ready by 7 type of person with a bright tone ☠️

– he prefers pancakes over waffles but thinks french toast trumps them all.

– has rough hands from the friction of his baseball bat and he gets bothered by it. applies hand lotion throughout the day just to get rid of it as much as he can.

– pretends to enjoy vance's rock music (well. he enjoys some of it but half of it doesn't make his brain tingle like abba or the beach boys does. he is an enjoyer of sweet and aerosmith though!)

– love language is physical touch and words of affirmation!

– can braid hair! amy lets him practice on her hair and so does vance. he tried to ask billy because his hair is long enough but it's always a "maybe some other time." he's very lighthanded
