I love how every time Miri offers to share her food, Kazuki gets super emotional because she's so kind and such a great kid.

Without hesitation he always takes her up on her offer - even when she's offering him dumplings made of sand. Anything to make her happy.

In this episode we see Rei really become more expressive with his emotions. He smiles so naturally in this episode, in spite of the circumstances, because he's happy and wants to enjoy his time with his daughter - with his family - and have no regrets about their time together.

When Miri offers him a bite after Kazuki has already taken one we see him hesitate.

But when he sees her smiling face he can't help but to give in. He loves her so much and takes the bite (INDIRECT KISS INDIRECT KISS) and smiles at her following.

I know that with a target on their backs Miri's safest option is with Misaki right now. But I'm still heartbroken and am holding out hope that they will destroy the organization and get Miri back.

I never would have guessed when I started this show that I'd grow so attached to this found family in such a short period of time. I thought I was starting a fun little comedy and here I am 2 days later still heartbroken and so fucking sad about episode 10. These men deserve happiness and I want so badly for their happiness to be together as a family with Miri. I know all of the fluff episodes are gone for this season (assuming they pick up another season which god, I hope they do) but I don't want to believe that we'd get 9 episodes of (mostly) lighthearted content for it to end on such a low note.

I have like 18 more drafts about this episode alone so lol I could go on and on.

pretty sure im not the first to think this but indirect kisses with caleb when you ask and ask and demand and beg a little too much and his resolve beings to disappear--

he'll go 'fine' but he absolutely is not. placing his hand on top of your mouth and leaning in slowly. the close proximity is enough to make his breath hitch at the sight of you looking up at him, like a deer, waiting and on the edge. he closes the gap between the two of you, kissing you with his flesh inbetween- a kiss is still a kiss. you can taste his breath, feel him and his warmth on your lips,

this only worsens the matters between the two of you. instead of satiating, it deepens your hunger for something more. greedier and needier you become. brining your fingers to your lips, you place a kiss there and place them on his mouth then.

he can taste your lipbalm- and feels something cold, slightly wet too. fingers lingering for a second too long and he can taste your saliva. all in all a misunderstanding, a miscalculation- always your head in clouds-- but one look at you and he sees mirth dancing in your eyes as you watch his every move with anticipation. noting down every twitch of muscle, every contraction, if he's holding his breath, if his eyelids drop even for a milisecond

you'll be the end of him, he realizes- and the end of you too. swimming in dangerous waters, you're but naive, unaware of what lurks in the deeper corners of his resolve.
