#IMAGINE A CROSSOVER WITH SHREK

I cannot stop thinking about the comparison between BBC Merlin and Smallville.

As the directors of BBC Merlin have said, an inspiration has been taken from the ten long seasons of Smallville, an US TV show I always loved, and literally grew up with, and since a few months back, I also made a re-watch of Smallville, I can’t stop thinking about the potential BBC Merlin could have had, if it actually followed some bits of the storyline of Smallville.

We can already see some of the similarities between the shows:

Merlin wears a red neckerchief with a blue tunic and viceversa, like Clark Kent, and whenever he’s hopeless or sad or angry, he wears worn out grey colours, and as an avid fan of Smallville, I can assure you that Clark Kent wears the same things;

Clark Kent has to hide his powers in a world that would hurt him, kill him, or experiment on him, if he let on his deepest secret, and for that, he not only loses the people he cares about the most, much like Merlin does, which are his father, his friends, his lovers, and almost even his mother, but forbids himself to fall in love, and therefore pursue any kind of relationship;

he’s witty, yes, like Merlin, but also shy and brave and lonely.

But the difference between Smallville and Merlin is that in Smallville, there is the closure I would have liked to see in Merlin:

Clark kent does hide his secrets, and he is good at it, until everyone else finds out about him, all on their own.

We’re talking about everyone (maybe because Clark/Merlin are not as sly as they think):

Lex and Lionel and Luthessa Luthor, Lana Leng, Chloe Sullivan, Pete Ross, Oliver Queen and so many others, either because they already had their suspicions or because someone else showed them.

And this brings the right amount of angst in the show, mixed with the betrayal and the lies and the secrets and the love triangles and the tropes that come out of them.

But where is Arthur in this picture?

Oh, this is the good bit.

For very obvious reasons, apart from the fact that he doesn’t talk as much as her, Arthur is definitely Lois Lane.

FROM THIS MOMENT ON, SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN’T WATCHED SMALLVILLE:

Lois Lane makes her appearance as a main character in the later seasons, after Clark understands that he has officially lost Lana, and starts working at the Daily Planet, in the same office as Lois.

But, unlike Arthur, Lois loves Superman (or The Blur, as he’s called for the entire ten seasons of Smallville, because he’s always caught on camera, but just as a blur). She talks to him in secret, and Clark masks his voice through the phone, he helps her and she helps him, he saves her innumerable times (does this remind you of anything?), and each time Lois compliments The Blur, Clark gets angry, because it’s his alter ego who gets the praise for a job well done, and not him, the clumsy idiot of the Daily Planet, much like everyone else in Merlin’s life has always got the credit for saving Arthur’s life, instead of him.

But what they should have given us in Merlin is what they gave us in Smallville, and it would have honestly made for the biggest magic reveal:

once Clark needs to fend off another enemy of the year, and thinks he’s going to officially die, he goes to say goodbye to his friends and his most loved ones, Lois included (“I’m happy to be your servant, until the day I die”).

Although, unlike in Merlin, where Arthur is a sweet himbo, who doesn’t inspect, and who doesn’t suspect anything, Lois had her suspicions, given that she and Clark had not only started falling in love, but now worked together too, and since she cared a whole lot about him, she follows Clark.

In the Smallville TV show, Lois hides behind a building from where, minutes later, Clark falls from. Lois believes he’s dead (Clark is immortal, and this begs the questions again: does he remind you of anyone?), and notices that he’s been stabbed in the chest with a blue crystal (context: the blue kryptonite removes Clark’s powers, and renders him human, and therefore mortal, unless the kryptonite, much like the green one, gets away from him). Following her guts, and sad and desperate that the man she loves the most might die, and believing in her suspicions and instinct, Lois pulls the crystal from Clark’s body, but the moment she hears some clutter, probably thinking they’re the enemies, she runs away, and goes back hiding.

And there, she sees him.

Clark grunts, gets up, completely safe ad healthy, sees that the crystal may have fallen by itself, or simply disappeared (and actually asks himself how that could have happened) and runs away:

by using his super fast power.

And Lois sees him.

Now, what could have been perfect was, if Arthur did the same.

After an attack gone wrong in the woods and losing sight of Merlin, he goes searching for the idiot, yelling something very along the lines of, “Where’s that useless buffoon?”, when he’s actually worried sick, and finds Merlin stabbed in the middle of a clearing.

Now, Arthur despises magic. He loathes it, he doesn’t trust it, yet, bless him, he still tries to understand it. This could have happened after Uther’s death, the moment Arthur’s reign begins.

He watches Merlin.

Arthur’s alone and shocked and scared and sick, so he drops to his knees next to him. He does not cry, he does not scream, he does not faint, that’s not really him at the end of the day, right? (Lois is the same. She grew up in a strict household with a strict solider father, and has lost her mother, and she had to be the parent to her older sister… Very, very much like Arthur). Or that’s what he thinks, and out of pure desperation, and something that sounds a bit like love, just like Lois Lane, since Merlin flinches, when he should be dead, for goodness’ sake, and out of instics and probably destiny, Arthur pulls whatever has stabbed Merlin out of his abdomen.

But as soon as he does, and as soon as he hears the knights coming close to him, and not to alarm anyone, and because he does not want them to see him in this sort of shocked state, Arthur hides behind a tree.

And there, he watches as Merlin, half dead and half alive, calls for Kilgharrah.

And Arthur has the same reaction of the finale.

He does not act on what he just discoveres.

At first, he’s sceptical, once Merlin comes back like he always does (and now he knows why and how), so he avoids him, he makes awful jokes, or hints about magic and about how powerful and dangerous it can be.

But once he’s sort of gone over this phase, noticing that Merlin hasn’t done anything with his big powers, like showing him off or anything of the likes (because Arthur has always known, magic or not, that Merlin would have never hurt him or Camelot), Arthur becomes… Curious.

And here comes the part that aligns with Smallville (we can also add the sexuality/gender identity/coming out metaphor):

much like in Smallville, and with magic and superpowers, and like in real life, someone does not force this information out of people, but Arthur, like Lois, is dying of curiosity, and just wants Merlin/Clark to trust him/her and tell him/her his secret, because he/she already knows of it.

So Arthur starts doing what Lois did.

The day after everything is well, and Lois now certainly knows about Clark’s superpowers, and the fact that he is The Blur, she goes to work, until Clark arrives too, and tells her that he must be quick for something, and needs some documents for a research. Lois stalls, and pretends she’s being SUDDENLY clumsy and a bit of an idiot (this would go perfectly well with Arthur, because he is an idiot, and he is also smitten with Merlin), and let her pen fall under the desk, to see what Clark would do.

And he uses his powers.

So imagine a wild Arthur in his natural habitat (his chambers), bored like no one else, and on the verge of imploding, because his manservant and best friend and love of his life he’s being stubborn and an oaf and an idiot and a toad.

He lets the apples or the sword or the belt fall under the table, pretends he’s keen to an act of kindness, and picks up the items himself, instead of letting Merlin do it, while he instructs said servant to do something else in the meantime.

Shocked at first, but following through with the orders, Merlin does as he’s being told, after throwing several sceptical looks at his prat of a king, and as soon as Arthur gets up from his crouched down position on the floor, the bed is already done, and the clothes are already folded, and Arthur goes mad, because, oh, he was right, and what else can Merlin do?

The curiosity gets him as much as his developing feelings for the cretin, with apparently super magical powers, who could also break a neck with a flick of his eyes, if he wanted to, and Arthur starts pretending to be even more of an idiot to see more magic, without Merlin knowing that he’s actually showing Arthur his abilities.

And the best part of it all?

The magic reveal.

I love Smallville, because the way Clark confesses his secret to Lois isn’t anything grand or majestic.

Yes, Clark does take Lois flying; yes, he also shags the living brains out of her, IN THEIR FARMS IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE (I must do this again but, does this remind you of ANYONE/ANYTHING IN PARTICULAR?), but he’s just built and hot and intelligent, but also very, very shy and a bit silly.

That’s why I love Clark the most as the best version of Superman, and Merlin as the best version of the famous wizard.

So Clark calls Lois to meet him in one of the Daily Planets departments, where documents and papers are stashed and kept there, on the last floor of the building, and where no one ever goes, and he fidgets a bit with his fingers, and he stammers a lot, and Lois is about to lose it, because still, after all these years, and our love? And how can Clark not tell me? Does he not trust me? Does he not want me like I want him? And all these emotions are well encompassed on her face, because Clark fails to tell her, and he says that he’s sorry, he can’t lose her, he can’t take that risk, he has lost so many loved ones already, and what does Lois do?

She understands, because she loves Clark, and she does not want to force him.

She gulps her tears, she miles brokenly, she nods, she tells Clark that it’s fine, but when she’s about to turn on the elevator, Clark realises that the love of his life is about to slip away from his fingers, and just blurts his secret out like a bloody moron.

Much like Merlin would do.

“I’m The Blur.”, he says, and Lois smiles, she turns around, and she runs to him, and literally jumps him, until they both fall back together, and laugh and stutter out their words and yes… They end up snogging.

Now, I want you to imagine a wild Arthur standing on one of the towers or balconies in the Camelot castle, while Merlin is being the usual insecure, oblivious man Arthur’s known for over ten years, and he turns around at the confession, and he runs to Merlin, and he pulls him to him, and while in this version, Arthur gives Merlin a concussion, as he hits the stone floor (because they are romantic, but also more stupid than Lois and Clark, since they’re, you know, a bloody gay disaster), he snogs the shit out of him too, and they start working together, and getting rid of the enemies together, and form a bond that is even deeper than the one they had before already, and Arthur meets Hunith’s mother as someone else entirely, while the chaos ensue, and so do the messy feelings:

like it happened in Smallville, but did not, because Lord forbid the gays, happened in BBC Merlin.

The knights of The Round table are the other DC superheros, and Guinevere could either be a superhero of her own or the wise and smart counsellor, who would be the journalist in Smallville, and Morgana is still Arthur’ sister, good or evil, it does not matter (she could either be after Merlin or after him, the options are innumerable).

Morgana is basically the obnoxious sister Lois’ has always had, who even gets a fake crush on Clark/Merlin to manipulate the two (these TV shows are too similar, I swear).

But I’m not done.

Oh, no, I’m not.

Because imagine all of this, imagine Smallville, but as a literal crossover with Merlin:

a fanfic where Merlin is the apparent imbecile employee at the Daily Planet, who actually has so many super powers, and he’s invincible, and his boss is Arthur Prat Pendragon, who is sceptical of superheroes, and his father Uther haunts them down, and is the owner of said Daily Planet, and loathes Merlin, because he talks about superheroes in his newspapers, and about his dad, because sodding fucking hell, he could control dragons.

Imagine the mess as these two fall in love, even if Merlin thinks he hates the rich, twat boss, whose order he has to follow, while Arthur treats him like a servant, rather than a journalist; Gwen could be either Chloe or Lana Leng, the best friend or the past lover, and Lancelot becomes Guinevere’s Jimmy or Oliver Queen, and Pete Ross is Will for Merlin, and Uther, is still the mad man they have to defy.

Merlin could have had so much potential, and a plethora of ways to have the magic reveal happen, and yet it was not used, and yes, if you didn’t notice, I’m still so mad over it.

I cannot fathom the amount of happiness I would have felt if they actually merged two of my favourite TV shows ever together, a good crossover between Smallville and the Arthuriana, in this case, BBC Merlin in particular.

Once you start including characters like Pinocchio or Peter Pan in your big fairy tale crossover story, you are opening the door to all kinds of questions of what counts as a fairy tale in your setting.

And this is a feature, not a bug, because even if you're just expanding your definition of a fairy tale from "A short story with folkloric roots," to "Any story with fantastical elements told to children," then like. Christmas Carol is a fairy tale. Sleepy Hollow is a fairy tale. King Arthur is a fairy tale. Greek myths are fairy tales. Your only limitations of what counts as a fairy tale are your imagination and if they appear in a Shrek movie.

So I wouldn't have really considered myself to be big on crossovers, but now that I think about it, like 2/3 of my planned long fics (not sure if I'm ready to call them WIP yet 😂) are crossovers. One is Dragonheart and the other one is Shrek. Both would be heavily altered to fit the ineffables. (I do love a good fairytale au tho if you couldn't tell lol)

Discworld Crossovers I’d Pay Good Money To See Part Three

Discworld and Shrek. Listen, you can’t tell me that Terry Pratchett’s work didn’t have some influence on the first two movies. Look at Witches Abroad, and look at Duloc and the Fairy Godmother from those movie. That’s all I’m saying. Plus since both Discworld and Shrek enjoys taking the piss out of fairlytale/fantasy tropes, it seems fitting.

Discworld and Gravity Falls. Dipper trying figure out all the weird stuff that happens on the Disc world be really entertaining, Ford could go hang out with the Wizards at Unseen University and swap knowledge, Mabel…would probably get arrested for accidentally pissing off the guilds or something ngl, and Stan could go into business with C.M.O.T Dibbler.

Discworld and X-Men. Yeah, this one is purely self indulgent. I love the X-Men. Hell, X-Men Evolution and Wolverine and the X-Men are two of my comfort shows. So combining it with my comfort book series can only lead to good things! Honestly I want to see Vimes give a Reasons You Suck speech to EvoCharles Xavier and Magneto for the whole…making teenagers risk their lives for their ideals thing. Also maybe Carrot could do that thing he did in the Fifth Elephant where he helps out young delinquents but with the EvoBrotherhood….THOSE BOYS NEED HELP DAMNIT!

Discworld and Over the Garden Wall. Honestly I just want this for the aesthetic more than anything. Plus I’d like to see Death in the Unknown. It makes sense since it’s supposed to be the afterlife/purgatory. And can you imagine how cute his and Greg’s interactions would be?

Discworld and any of the Ghibli movies that have witches/magic in them. I just think it would be fun to see Kiki or Erica interact with Tiffany. Also I’d love a crossover with the Howl’s Moving Castle book as well since it’s different than the movie.

-Mr wolf x Jimmy crystal

-Judy hopps x kitty softpaws

And what I do? I imagine them in stories that I never write or I do moodboards about them, I love how aesthetic they are, the most is shrek x rapunzel that is pink and green couple.

I guess shrek and rapunzel are similar to canon, shrek Falls in love with a princess because she doesn't treat him as a monster. The rest are more au that I created in my head, like puss and nick that are friends as kids but only friends in a summer trip that nick did with his mom to San Ricardo.

Shrek Meets Shrek... From The Past

Modern Shrek: *encounters his early version of himself, who is happy to meet him* Huh? Who the heck are you? And why do you look like me?

Anyways, I came up with this idea if the Shrek from the modern Shrek films encountered an early Shrek from the early animation test in 1996 and they have in common of being ugly and scary. This would take place before the events of the Shrek films, before Shrek rescued princess Fiona and became a family to her and his kids ^^. This idea would've became cute and hilarious xD !!!

It's been like years since watching Shrek ^^. I was real young since watching Shrek. I watched like three films, shorts, and bits of the Halloween specials and the Christmas special ^^. I watched bits of Forever Ever and Puss in Boots, I just need to watch the whole thing ^^. I heard they are releasing the new Puss in Boots coming out this year (or next year ? idk). Things I just love about the film, all the fairy tale creatures :3 I knew something about Grimms Fairy Tales, I never posted the colored artworks for awhile on DA. The descriptions were short :p. I think I saw the rumors of Shrek 5, but I might or might not doubt the fifth Shrek film will be developed, idk:/. I also love how the themes of medieval period with fairy tales are crossovered with modern time period, like Far Far Away being Hollywood and all shops were parodied to like Burger King, and Starbucks (of course because they made a parody of my favorite coffee shop ^w^) and all other stuff ^^ and also along with modern and today's music :D. I did watch the musical broadway version of the movie on Netflix and I saw a biiiiiiiiiiiig difference between the 2001 film and the musical that the story are the same but different development to it. The songs are beautiful and wonderful 💞 People seemed to LOVE Pinocchio in the musical ^^.

Another DreamWorks film I did see at school is How to Train Your Dragon. I never got to watch the whole thing >_<. One song I discovered from the second film is For the Dancing and the Dreaming. I listened to the cover on YouTube first before the film version ^^. The cover was by Erutan a.k.a katethegreat19 . OMG, the song got stuck in my head for a while ☺️. I need to watch those films along with the third.

Also, wanna know a fact about Shrek for those who didn't know?: In 1996 during the start of the development of Shrek, DreamWorks had a lost tape footage of an early animation test what Shrek originally look like. The test was known as I Feel Good.

It was before they redid Shrek in 2000 I think (?). I know they released the film in 2001 (I wasn't born that year, and wasn't born a year before Shrek 2 was released in 2004. I was born a year after the second film was released), they probably redeveloped the year before it's release :/. I rethink of the older Shrek, he looked like a goblin-like ogre, other than the modern version of Shrek in the film. I found it really awkward and interesting how Shrek originally looked like. Imagine having an early version of Shrek in the actual film and other films with Fiona and other stuff, people would've been thinking "Why does Shrek look like that?" either in a hilarious way or been weirded out xD!!!

Also another fact!: Chris Harley (though I don't know him) was initially hired for the role of Shrek, but passed away in 1996 (97 or 8(?)). The thing I thought was weird was Nicolas Cage was gonna be the role of Shrek but he didn't want to look like an ogre. I thought while reading about it I was like "...It be weird for Nicolas Cage to voice Shrek.". So Mike Myers voiced Shrek with the Scottish accent, which I like about it ^^. I saw some technical goods of the film and it was funny seeing how the technical bloopers turned out for animation xD!!! Absolutely LOVE Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz <D!!! Though I wouldn't think she would do the first voice acting for animation, though Shrek is the only thing for her ^^.

There is a book published in 1990 known as Shrek!, and I read a few two pages of the book online, but didn't finish, but I knew it was gonna be different than the film.

I might do more DreamWorks artworks as well, even with crossovers ^^. What y'all think? :)

Protector *Buck series*

*S.W.A.T. crossover*

Most days Buck always thought he'd hate to know what your job includes firsthand since getting in a relationship with you, especially in the few years Evie's been alive, he just cant picture you being anything other than the woman he comes home to, the mother of his child. He couldn't picture the person who sticks her cold feet on his unsuspecting back in the middle of the night to be one of the people who runs into a line of fire and be able to take down someone twice her size. But this day was different.

It started off as a normal day. Since it was his day off, he got up when Evie did and she helped him make breakfast before you walked in ready for a day at work. "Mommy look! Waffles!" You smile and kiss her forehead, "You watching Shrek again kiddo?" When she giggles you lean towards Buck kissing him as he hands you a plate.

When it's time for you to go, Evie gives you a hug as you kiss Buck, "Stay safe." "Always am."

After Buck and Evie spend most of their day, playing whatever game Evie could think up, Eddie and Christopher decided to visit. "Uncle Eddie!" Eddie laughs as he tosses the four year old into the air before catching her and tickling her until she became a giggling mess.

When the kids grow hungry Buck looks around before realizing today was grocery day, "How about we take a trip to get what we need and we can all cook it together?" The four of them set out in Eddie's truck to the grocery store.

Halfway through their mental list, and Eddie having to constantly stop the three children from throwing random junk into the cart, they hear gun shots followed by multiple men yelling.

You're practicing some shooting when you feel a presence behind you, "You know everytime I see you in here, your skills never fail to impress me." "Isn't that why I was chosen for your team Hondo? Because my almost assassin skills." "Now now dont get cocky with me." You let out a laugh before you're both interrupted by Jessica.

The team talk about the robbery in progress as you head to the scene as everyone gets out, you automatically start hearing the different orders of actions before you head over to Jessica with the rest of your team. "There's seven suspects. No shots fired yet. Thirty five hostages including kids, all being kept in the floral department of the store. They have a perfect view of any outside activity in the front, but a wall blocking our view of them except through camera surveillance."

You take in your surroundings, surveying the parking lot before your eyes fall on a familiar truck, you immediately recognize the top of Evies pink carseat in the window. You immediately bark an order, "Get me that surveillance. Now!" No one asks hearing the tone in your voice before the surveillance is brought up. Your eyes scan the people in view before they fall on two men with two kids, your voice catches in your throat and tears build in your eyes as you point at the screen. You manage to choke out Evie's name catching everyone's attention you can feel a hand on your shoulder and can only guess its Deacons, him probably imagining if he was in your position.

Buck sits with Evie on his lap, her head pressed against his chest as she grips onto his shirt with silent tears falling down her face. He can only rub his thumb along her cheek, the only thing running through his head is that he'd die to keep his daughter safe. Next to him he can feel his best friend ready to snap.

Hondo starts giving orders, pausing before giving you one, probably figuring out it's best to not try and fight you on anything. Before you guys can start setting up a plan, you hear over your earpieces, "The suspects are starting to get physical with some of the hostages, we need to move before things can escalate." Before you know it the team is entering the grocery store, and with ease start taking out the suspects, one by one. You and Luca round the corner, the floral department in view, quickly shooting down one of three suspects.

Upon hearing a gun go off, people start huddling together, away from the noise. Buck immediately pushes Evie's face into his chest, to avoid her from seeing anything, while pulling Christopher into his side and covering his face, Eddie now a few feet away. But he cant stop himself from watching what's happening.

Luca immediately goes after the suspect who ran, leaving you with the last and final suspect. He quickly towers over your figure knocking your gun to the floor, but that doesn't phase you at all, your anger fueling you.

The suspect easily grabs you by your vest, lifting you up before throwing you into a pillar. As he stalks towards you, you quickly roll out of the way before jumping up, you're quick to gain the upper hand, after getting a couple more small wounds yourself. Grabbing the guys collar you knock his head into a nearby shopping cart making him fall before smashing his head into the ground, completely knocking him out. You quickly zip tie his hands behind his back before notifying that you got him.

When you get notified that they're coming to collect the suspects you quickly turn and rip your helmet off, eyes falling on the two people you'd kill for. You quickly catch the small girl, with tears streaming down her face, not letting her see you wince due to the giant bruise now forming on your back. Immediately you pull Buck into your arms as well, breathing in his scent. He pulls away to look at your face, tears in his own eyes, "You're bleeding." You reach your free hand up, running you thumb along his jawline, "But no one else is, and that's what matters right now, they'll check me out as soon as everyone else has been checked out."

You help lead everyone out, Evie refusing to leave your arms with her face pressed into your neck, Buck Eddie and Christopher next to you. When it comes time for Evie to be checked out she let's out a small whine of protest when you try to set her down.

The rest of your team can see how traumatized their niece is, and can only wish they could help. You sigh and with one hand take off your equipment until you're just in uniform, "Evie. It's okay. They just want to make sure you're okay. Look daddy has to get checked and so does mommy okay?" She watches as the paramedics check over Buck before she reluctantly nods letting you transfer her to the spot next to Buck where she quickly grabs onto his hand, her eyes not leaving you as you let a paramedic look over you and bandage the few cuts and wounds you have, before getting started on your back.

When everyone is given the all clear, people start leaving. Evie starts crying when she realizes you have to get into the same truck as the suspects, you reluctantly crouch down to her height wiping her tears away, "Its okay Evie. I have to make sure they get put into prison, that's my job remember." She nods but continues to run into your arms making you look up at Buck as you try and console your crying daughter.

Your team can only watch before Jessica starts walking in your direction, everyone wondering what's about to happen. "Y/L." You turn your head, your arms not leaving Evies small frame, you easily catch the set of keys that get tossed in your direction, "Bring her, I'll ride with the team. Maybe letting her see the compound will bring her some ease."

You look at the girl in your arms, "You wanna do that? You wanna see where mommy works?" She runs her eye, trying to stop her tears, "And daddy?" You smile soothing her hair back, "Why not?" When she gives a soft smile you smile, "Can we use the lights?" You laugh as Buck moves to retrieve her carseat, Eddie deciding that it's best if he and Christopher head home, "How about we wait until we get there? Then you can press the lights in the big truck." "Okay."

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

Lucky and unlucky number, 13. And if I'm productive this year, probably more. I update at a snail's pace with only one completed story so far, so oof. I'm trying to change that since I've already imagined the endings of my stories in my head. The progress is just...it's in the works and a bit tedious to get into.

2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

Crap. Uh, 446,356 worth of words.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

I started writing for the Loki fandom, then had a crossover fic between Venom and Puss in Boots (random, I know but it's my most popular fic for some reason hitting 16K hits even tho my last update was last September 2023), and then spammed several one-shots and a long story for a Hunger Games crack ship because it's direly lacking content (it is also my current hyper fixation, so there)

There's also a Marvel/SU crossover that I wrote. Super random, but I got a lot comments that told me they enjoyed it and I cherish them in my heart.

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

Puss in Black (531), Not your problem to fix (106), The Royale Capitol Games (57), Impulse (57), The underlying tension between the President and the Gamemaker (27)

Altho, nothing beats my first fanfic from wattpad. Even though it was a cringy Peridot X Reader fic that I wrote when I was 16 or 17, it somehow amounted to 100k reads and 3.51K votes. To this day, readers are begging me to update it after I left an excruciating and painful cliffhanger. Some of them even think I'm dead. (Sorry guys, I lost my password and I could not get my account opened again. But maybe the sun will shine on us again in the case that I do re-open my account)

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I do after a while, depending on my enthusiasm but sometimes I'm just shy and clueless how to respond to some in particular.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

My first cringy fic in Wattpad ended where the mc is betrayed by their loved one. To this day, people are in shambles and I could never update it with far better writing because I lost my password.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Roleplay and Distractions is so far, the only fic I have successfully completed (even tho it's in a series that's ongoing) and it did end nicely even if one of them was under house arrest forever. Lol. At least they get to make out and cuddle everyday even when one of them is improsined.

8. Do you get hate on fic?

Twice. The first one was for attention, but most readers defended me because it was obviously bait, and the second one was because of wrong tagging, lol. I admit it was my mistake but they were very respectable about it.

9. Do you write smut?

Yes. this entire series, Blood and Peppermints, is mostly smut but sue me because the content for this rare pair is so miniscule! I changed position from reader to writer real quick for them. Lol.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

Yes, yes. Absolutely. My crossover fics are the ones that's most popular with hits and kudos and I'm very proud of them even though my writing has evolved for the better now.

No. At least, I don't think so.

A commenter asked for my fic to be translated in Russian and upload it to their country's exclusive site because they think it's good. I'm very lenient about people asking me for permission so I allowed it.

Only downside is, I have no news about whether the reception was received good or not even tho I've asked for some updates. Oof.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

I'm planning to with a friend but it hasn't been worked on yet or be published anytime soon.

14. What’s your all-time favourite ship?

Even though my current fixation is Coin/Plutarch, nothing rivals the brain rotting I had when I was 12 with Ulquiorra and Orihime from Bleach. They were my Zutara fr and I still think about them in a daily basis.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but probably won’t?

I have endless wips, writing and drawing lol, let's leave it there.

Descriptions. Concepts. Dialogues, maybe?

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Pacing and a solid structure. As great as some ideas, my structuring is a mess and I end up having to improvise a lot.

Never. Again. I did that in my Puss in Boots fic and holy hell, I know native speakers are cringing even tho most never comments on it.

Next time, I'll only write in tagalog or hiligaynon.

I try to always comment. Comments are a gift and I want to recognize the time someone took tell me they liked my work. Plus, I love talking about writing and stories and all that.

What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Life has enough angst already, I don’t need to add to it with my fics. I much prefer a happy ending. That said, since I’ve left everyone hanging on Stella Caeli for 6 months (I’m so sorry!) and it’s at a disaster cliffhanger, it would be that. I am almost done with the next installment, though, so hopefully soon it won’t be angsty either.

What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Maybe Divine? That’s the last part of Hecate’s Summer Playlist. Either that or An Uncertain Spring

Probably my first fic – a massive crossover with characters from everywhere, a healthy dose of Mary Sue-manship, a bizarre premise that turned out to be not so bizarre when six months or a year after I started it, Galaxy Quest sort of had the main plot point.

I feel like dialogue is what I do best, followed by plotting.

Action sequences. They feel very stilted to me.

Crowley is Shrek and i don't know who could be Donkey (Newt maybe) and ofc Aziraphale is Fiona

It's the same plot but with a twist

Crowley is still a demon and gets sent by Gabriel to get Aziraphale so they can get married and Crowley gets his swamp (or whatever) back

Now with Aziraphale

He's only an angel at day and turns into a demon at night and of course, only true love's kiss can break the curse.

I like to imagine that Aziraphale as a demon would be a goat (alot of people do i know)
