so like does anyone else think about how Tucker got stabbed again. anyone else think about how in that moment he might have even thought about Felix and the time he was stabbed on Chorus. he probably thought about how he'd left himself open again to such an easy blow letting his guard down did he learn nothing from Felix a guy that you can't fucking convince me doesn't haunt Tucker's nightmares

do you think he thought of Junior? Of the other Reds and Blues? do you think he wondered if this would be the time a blade really took him out.

theres this tragic irony of Tucker constantly getting stabbed and almost dying from a knife. the chosen one to carry the sword-like key. the guy who made his whole personality having a sword for sooo fucking long cause he thought it was cool as shit. being taken out by blades every time

he brought the sword to the gunfight but he was never prepared for other blades through the bullets

Latching not 1 or 2 but 3 shock onto your sweet pet 1 around it's neck 1 on one of it's thighs and on the opposite bicep. Keep them guessing about not only if they'll be shocked, if you judge them obedient enough or not but also where the shock will occur. I'm still thinking about that revenant scar au- like imagine losing your two closest and only friends in an accident while you survive it but then you hear their voice and you can use their skills to your own advantage and you can feel their spirits- and it gives you hope that they're still alive and they're actually talking to you, it's them, it's definitely them-

But its not. It's not them but you just can't accept it. You keep denying it you keep convincing yourself that it's still them. They're still them. Why else would they be talking to you! You can hear them! They're still alive!

Like smt makes me so insane about the idea of Scar just acting like nothing happened. Grian and Mumbo are just in his head now! But it's still them definitely! Scar is still joking around with then even if they rarely answer, he talks to them like they can hear him and like they're actually listening.

It's until he befriends Cub and Cub asks him about why he talks to himself when Scar finally admits they're dead. And it hits him like a truck. All that unresolved grief he has been pushing down finally came to the surface and Scar just can't deal with the fact that his best friends are dead. They have been dead for a while.
