Don't think about how when Damien died in my AU, he left his corgi home alone for like 3 days but William takes her with him but she doesn't understand Damien is dead. And then when she finally kicks the bucket, William makes a grave in his backyard for her next to the ones he made for Damien and Celine-

One of the things that the creators of Arcane do so insanely well is their attention to small details. It's incredible.
Take the scene where Vi catches Caitlyn as she collapses and cries - this was stunning to me, because look:

Even though Vi has been so extraordinarily tender with Caitlyn throughout their shared nightmare, she's still a product of what's happened to her. As Caitlyn falls towards her, Vi catches her, because of course she does, but look at her hands. An Enforcer moves at her and her heart says catch her but her gut says fists up. It doesn't matter that it's Caitlyn. It's instinctive. It's ingrained. She continues to do it in other scenes during vulnerable moments.
She is so, so gentle with Caitlyn and she is trying so, so hard but she cannot undo the habits and behaviors that a lifetime of trauma and uncertainty and violence have forced her to develop, not by her own choice or from sheer love for someone else. She's tried that before, it didn't work, and she knows it.

i just think about how karasuno was the perfect team for kageyama like make the most of everyone’s strengths and even if he is a little difficult they communicate so well with him. so when they call him the ‘king of the court’ he’s no longer someone who makes decisions for the team on his own and expects everyone to keep up with him, but he’s a king who sets the pace for the team so they can push themselves to their limits
and suga is seriously the best senior for kageyama - i’ve seen someone say that he is everything kageyama wanted oikawa to be - which i think is a little true bc i believe that oikawa and kageyama brought out each other’s insecurities while suga healthily competes but also works together with kageyama.
not to mention the healthy (?) bickering from hinata, tsukishima, tanaka etc.. i feel like it’s so essential for his character bc they’re not people who will just stand for what they don’t believe in. and especially for teenage boys i think a little bit of fighting is necessary bc it’s how they grow and learn.

do you think part of the reason why dokja’s face is so unclear/censored throughout most of the story is because his self as the oldest dream (ie 15 year old him) cant imagine himself surviving to adulthood

last year i found a wii at goodwill for 25 dollars and it came with everything except a wiimote but it was in such good condition i was like hell yeah ill take it how hard can it be to find a wiimote. the answer is it's nearly impossible to find them at thrift stores now so i've spent like 8 months looking for ones in thrift stores but there wasn't a single one and then online but i just couldn't bring myself to spend 30 dollars on one single wiimote so i waited so. patiently. and then 2 weeks ago i finally found one at goodwill for 9 dollars but it was absolutely disgusting and the battery cover was missing and the compartment was all corroded so i put it back and regretted it the whole week but then this last weekend i went to savers and there was an absolutely perfect wiimote just sitting there with no corrosion and a jacket and the wrist strap and motion plus and the nunchuck was there too and i got it all for 10 dollars so the moral of the story is that sometimes things seem right for you in the moment but you have to recognize that they aren't and leave them behind so the things that are meant for you will in fact find you when the time is right. peace and love <3

i love you inherent horror of time loops i love watching people try to get out over and over again i love watching people go mad because they can't get out! they can't change the outcome no matter what they do! they still loop back everytime! but they still try, over and over again because you can't not try in a time loop you have to try to get out and you have to hope you can get out you have to hope and you have to try and it works most of the time! you get out by talking or doing something specific! they get out of the loops because they had hope and they tried over and over again until they were going insane i love you time loops and the inherent horror of being stuck in one

say what you want about this final chapter but i'm taking it as confirmation that yuuji was the one who finally taught sukuna about love.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
this whole time sukuna has been trapped by his own thinking, his unshaken belief, that he was just as much a curse as someone like mahito.
but it's very telling that right after we see yuuji's face, his words that everything will end up alright, that sukuna appears. and more than that, he looks far more at peace than i would have expected him to be after losing.
yuuji is the only one to have treated him like a person, to open up with him, to show him true kindness and empathy. and unlike everyone else who saw sukuna as nothing but a monster, yuuji said sukuna could have a new start. that it was only a matter of chance that sukuna was the monster in all this.
yuuji humanized sukuna. he saw something inside the king of curses that nobody else could understand. yuuji saw himself in this monster, that they could have been two of a kind.
Tumblr media
and it really did get to sukuna. not only did he fully acknowledge yuuji by calling him by his full name and not just "brat" but he also referred to himself as a "curse" as he died in yuuji's hands.
Tumblr media
he chose death because he saw himself as only inhuman, but now in the afterlife he's reflected on yuuji's words. he finally realized that he has two paths he can go on, he has a choice. and yuuji was the one to give it to him.
and i think this change in heart is all owed to yuuji, who cradled sukuna even in his final moments and awoke that understanding inside sukuna. because yuuji out of everyone was the most sincere and understanding of sukuna, perhaps the only one who ever showed him real love. and in death, i think it comforted sukuna. he's gone "soft" and he's accepted it, because yuuji was the one who impacted him the most, who finally broke down sukuna's philosophy. (which is ironic considering how sukuna threatened to break down yuuji's). out of all the people who thought they would teach sukuna love, yuuji was the only who really could and really did.
this chapter was by no means fully satisfactory to me, but it's not what i fully expected and more than i could have hoped for, given the direction i feared we were going in.
sukuna's character finally being able to show that growth, learning what love is from yuuji, being able to accept everything because of yuuji's warmth even at the end... we won. yuuji really did teach sukuna how to love, and it started with making sukuna realize that he was capable of such a thing, that fulfillment was what he needed after all.
and just maybe this isn't the last we see of the both of them. i still have this crazy hope that their story isn't fully over yet. and even if it fully is, than it's far more of a happy (and hopeful) ending that i could have imagined.
