DAN HENG ★

Dan Heng knows what it's like. He knows what it's like to be locked up, forced away from the outside world. He knows what it's like to be alone and scared. He knows what it's like to have someone watch your every move. Dan Heng knows what it would be like for you. Yet, he can't shake the thoughts and desires to take you.

Dan Heng knows it's wrong. He can sympathize, which is probably why he tried to deny it all in the first place. However, he's been so selfless. He accepted punishment without complaint. He helps around the Astral Express so much. It's hard for Dan Heng to not be selfish this once and indulge in his love.

That is if he can even call it love. Dan Heng tried to deny his feelings for you first. He knew how hard it would be, even without expecting the obsession to come along with it. His draconic heritage makes him more possessive than the average lover. They hoard what they love, and it includes their mates as well.

Dan Heng can't avoid it entirely, though. Being without you feels like an even worse punishment than his banishment. With you, he feels something he has never felt before. Dan Heng can no longer deny his love for you, even if it may be more than that.

You might notice him giving extra attention to you. It is never anything big, but rather small things. Dan Heng looks at you a bit longer. He smiles slightly when you talk. He stands closer to you. He won't flinch away when you grab his hand. He'll let you into the Archives. Dan Heng will treat you differently.

He is still silent as ever, but he is more relaxed around you. At the same time, he feels more tense, though. Dan Heng doesn't want to push you away. He'll take his time with you.

In his dragon form, his thoughts are even worse. It is harder to suppress his desire for you. Especially when he already begins to subconsciously think of you as his mate. This is when things get a bit more severe. He's less controlled.

Dan Heng's tail might loosely wrap around your ankle as if you'd run. He'll glare at people he thinks are too close. He'll only go where you go. He'll favor you and always find a way to defend you. Things like this are much more noticeable as his love grows.

The Archives have a lot more entries about you. Your physical description, personality, hobbies, interests, and moods all have their own extensive pages. When he can't be with you, he'll simply write or read about you. Dan Heng will find himself reading over your information if he can't go to sleep.

At this point, Dan Heng knows it is more than love. He knows he is obsessed with you. But he doesn't care all that much. He feels something, something that isn't cold. Something that feels good and warm in his heart, even if it is terribly wrong in his brain. He's given up on trying to suppress it. He simply can't, so Dan Heng embraces it. He embraces you. He loves you.

If you do end up loving Dan Heng as well, he will be overjoyed. You can't see it on his face, but the way his tail tightly coils around your waist tells you otherwise. He isn't too big on physical touch normally, but he will always have some kind of touch on you.

He'll get a bit overbearing. He doesn't want to see you hurt. It's dangerous trailblazing. Dan Heng needs you.

If you find out the extent of his love, he might finally lose the rest of his self-restraint. You'd probably run. He doesn't want that. He won't let that happen. You're his now.

Dan Heng gently ran his fingers through your hair, playing with it. You sat down in front of him with his tail securely wrapped around your waist. Your back snugly pressed against his chest. Both of you breathed slowly, enjoying the moment.

"Dan Heng?" You asked. He did not respond. He only continued to mess with your hair. You couldn't see his expression, how he looked at you with utter love in his eyes. He was thinking.

"Dan Heng..?" You question softly. This time, Dan Heng seems to have heard your words. His fingers stop for a moment as he blinks.

"Yes, what is it?" His fingers resume once he speaks. They softly pull through any tangles, Dan Heng paying extra attention to make sure he doesn't hurt you. His tail lightly twitched around your waist.

"I was thinking about going on the Luofu with March and..." You didn't get to finish your sentence as Dan Heng's grip on your hair tightened. It hurt a bit, as his fist pulled on your hair unknowingly. Dan Heng's voice came next.

"No," he said. Dan Heng's voice was far colder than it usually was. He sounded angry and disappointed and upset. It was impossible for you to turn to see his expression with his hand holding your head straight. Dan Heng repeated, "No. It's too dangerous. The.. Stellaron Hunters are there. He is there. If something happens to you, you will never be able to best him in a fight. You need to stay here, where it's safe. Besides, March and the others don't need you. They can do this alone."

Dan Heng's words came out harsher than he was meaning to, but he was too busy worrying about you to realize. He shuddered slightly, imagining what it would be like if you were Blade's next victim. It wasn't hard to figure out Dan Heng is attached to you, so perhaps he would go for you to get to Dan Heng. The thought sickened him. He never wanted to see you in pain like he had to be. Slowly, his grip loosened as he went back to playing with your hair.

However, you were also a bit uneasy. Dan Heng's tone was off, and he had been acting weird recently. You spoke after a few minutes of silence, "I'm feeling tired... I'm going to go to sleep in my room now, Heng."

"Hm," Dan Heng hums, "No. I think you will sleep in here from now on."

NEUVILLETTE ★

Neuvillette also knows it's wrong. What he stays up at night thinking of is illegal. It goes against everything he does in life. Yet, he would never think it would feel so good.

Neuvillette has never been a selfish man. For hundreds of years, he upheld justice for others. He was always fair and righteous, even when it hurt. However, Neuvillette has never really wanted anything specific in the first place. Yes, he yearns to understand himself and others, but he has never felt that carnal desire to own something.

That is, until he met you of course. Suddenly, he felt something he'd never felt before. It was weird, bubbling in his chest sweetly. It made his heart ache with yearning. It almost felt a bit painful, but it was also so enjoyable. He wanted more of it.

You made him feel something he has yet to grasp. He may not understand emotions well, but he knows what certain ones are. But this, he does not know. You made Neuvillette feel something new. Something that made him feel a bit more alive. As if you were the purpose, the reason he was born.

Neuvillette tries to dismiss these thoughts, but it's hard. He must focus on his duties, but he often thinks of you in the moments between work. He knows it's wrong. But it doesn't feel bad. It feels good. So, is it really that wrong?

Neuvillette is still very busy, though. He will get the melusines to spy on you, which they happily accept. Neuvillette often tells them about you since he doesn't have anyone else he can tell. It's gotten to the point where alongside seeing Neuvillette as their father of sorts, they see you as a parent as well. Of course, they think, you must be the monsieur's spouse. They certainly have no issue with simply ensuring their 'parent's' safety, after all.

Neuvillette never corrects them. After all, it makes him feel warm inside. Marriage sounds nice. A legal contract, bounding you to each other forever. Suddenly, Neuvillette seems to pay more attention to marriage documents and trials related to it.

He will never say anything first. Ever. Even though Neuvillette wants you badly, he will not break his moral code and risk doing something irrational. He likely wouldn't either way, but he worries. Especially when it comes to you.

Neuvillette is very protective of you. He wasn't very big on touch, but now he likes to have some sort of contact with you. Holding your hand, arm, waist, finger, whatever it may be. It helps him make sure you're okay. It's been so long since he's felt affection like that, and he tries to get you to spoil him with it sometimes.

He loves it so much when you treat the melusines like they are your children. Maybe one day you can have children together. Whether it's biological or adoption, he doesn't care. Neuvillette wants to be with you however he can.

And once the prophecy kicks off entirely, you're never leaving his sight again. Even if you're not from Fontaine, there's still a risk and uncertainty. Neuvillette won't let you slip away. He can't. He'll pamper you, do whatever you ask of him (besides letting you go), but he just needs you to stay where he knows you're safe.

If you try to leave, then good luck. It'll be raining. Hard. You can barely even walk without getting soaked. It's never been this bad in Fontaine before.. but as soon as Neuvillette sees you again, it's unbearably sunny. The weather is quite extreme.

You're his mate after all. Why are you even trying to leave him, if you are? This is your home now. Neuvillette sighs, perhaps you're just nervous. It's okay, though. He figures you need to adjust.

He won't care if you find out how much he loves you. Why does it matter? Of course, he loves his mate.

"I forbid you," Neuvillette stares you down, "My dear, please, come back over here. I'd hate to request a guard to block the door."

You stop in your tracks, not doubting Neuvillette's words. You could feel his gaze burning into your skull. It scared you. He was incredibly powerful, and it would be best to comply with him, no?

You turned around. He smiled gently, "Good. Now come, sit back down, mon ange (my angel)."

You listen to him, slowly walking back towards him. You sit on the couch next to his desk before he sighs. The rain gets a bit harder.

"You know that's not your seat," he murmurs. And you know exactly what he means. Neuvillette waits for you to return to him, and sit on his lap—your seat. You do.

"There," Neuvillette breathes out on your neck. He wraps his arms around your waist and buries his face into your neck. The rain alleviates, slowing. You shake a bit in his grasp, either from his breathing or your possible fear.

"Shh.. it's okay, mon cœur (my heart), is it that you're cold..?" Neuvillette asks sweetly, before holding you tighter. "I'll warm you up, my love. Just stay with me.."

His hands begin to rub circles into your back as he flips you over. Neuvillette isn't manhandling you roughly, but he does it with such ease. It may not be purposeful, but it's a reminder of just how much stronger he is than you. After all, he is a dragon. He uses his glove hand to gently push you against his chest. Neuvillette effectively trapped you in his warm grasp.

"Neuvillette.." You say softly, "There is no need to hold me like a lifeline."

He smiles but doesn't loosen his grip. "I beg to differ. After all, I don't think I could live without you, so you are my lifeline, no? My lifeline and my mate.."

Neuvillette's voice is longing. You won't be able to get out of this any time soon. The rain disappears alongside your smile (or frown).

○ He may not seem like it, but Castor has developed a sweet tooth while his time on Earth (the planet), so has Pollux, but she's vocal about it

● The astrals don't have a reflection it's just light, flash bang 💥 (Lunar saw this with Gemini, and he couldn't see for a while)

● Lunar is Castors first ever friend (They both got too attached)

○ Castor has abandonment issues (or detattachment issues, idk how to spell it🤷‍♀️)

Waitwait, I have a question—what are the dynamics/tropes of the genshin mamas and papas? And if so, do they have special nicknames or pet names with each other? The kind that only you and the other person has...

(Personally I kinda see mama reader and al haitam (idk how to spell his name, shoot me dead I guess) are those very serious, very sticks with their job people that you really don't know if they're married, but the moment they leave the akademia—the moment they leave for the day! His small little smile! The way they would try to hold each other's hands or slowly intertwine with each other.

I also see mama reader and kaveh being that couple that's like, "I LOVE MY WIFE!!! " and mama reader is like, "... kaveh, darling, stop embarrassing me" but they like it shhh) mmmm the thoughts are getting to me.

THAT'S ABSOLUTELY THEM 😭😭

Let me tell you a fun fact about Kaveh's & his wife's relationship: he had to work a lot to court her. Mama reader took an interest in him on their very first meeting. However, she didn't accept his feelings entirely until he paid all his debts. Something about “how will I know you're serious about us when you can't even put your life back on track?”. Harsh words yes, but that worked to enlighten Kaveh's goals.

That's how serious (and whipped) he is about his wife.

Alhaitham' & his wife' dynamic were perfectly described here. When they're at work they put their focus entirely on it. Sometimes you can find her in his office so they can have lunch or a cup of tea together. But only when they leave for they day you see a slight intimate & affectionate side of him towards his wife.

Kazuha' & his wife's dynamic is the calm, gentle, and tired one but helpless in love with his excited, flirty & funny wife's persona. Not a chaotic dumbass way, though. Just a very exciting way. My girl is just madly in love with her husband and adores her children very much! They prefer to be intimate indoors, but they’re not afraid to show some pda too.

I'd describe Cyno' and Mama reader' relationship as looks like a cinnamon but can kill you (her) x looks like can kill you but sometimes is a cinnamon but can kill you too (him). Cyno has that grumpy face that scares most of Sumeru's citizens but all his defenses are put down when his wife shows or gives him some affection. And when he gives her some pda you can see flowers twirling around her. In general, I'd say they are that typical couple which one doesn't need to speak for the other know they’re being heard. They work pretty good together!

I'd say the trope of Neuvi and his wife would be that classy, fancy & untouchable couple. Mama reader has a more laid-back personality tho. Being a merchant, she sometimes displays seductive and manipulative traits but this only works with other people. Neuvillette knows very well how to deal with her and she loves him for it. They're very affectionate with each other indoors.

Not completely biased but Wriothesley has a dynamic similar to Kaveh's with his wife. He had to dig deep to reach her heart so now he's enjoying his happy married life as a reward for all those years she had played hard to get. Don't get me wrong, they were always into each other but their lives weren't easy. Anyways. In their dynamic, there's a lot of teasing, sometimes some pda & flirting (this one mostly comes from reader).

And finally we've our dear Lyney who'd steal the stars and the moon from skies if his wife asked him to do so. At the beginning of their relationship, they clearly presented a shy, blushy & whipped (him) x friendly, teasing & flirty (her) trope. But as they got to know each other and the relationship grew stronger, I'd say they settled into a sweet & calm dynamic. Sometimes Lyney can't help but show his extreme enthusiasm toward his wife and she can't help but be his reason for breathing hahah They've a very lovey-dovey dynamic.

Teehee I forgot to colour in the damn hair clips... I'm gonna kms /j

- Genderqueer cat. Any character based on the Cheshire Cat is genderqueer to me istg. Chenya is no exception.

- I kept most of her design the same but added in some heterochromia for funsies and used those colours for the hair clips and earrings. Xe is also Hispanic, idk it just felt right.

- Totally has ADHD. The impulsive thoughts are obvious with this one and I think that Neige serves as its impulse control. They made like, a pact of sorts (after their Headmage yelled at Chenya for doing something) that Chenya tells Neige whatever the impulsive thought is and Neige either tell Chenya 'No, you can't do that' or 'We can do this instead'.

- Broke asf. I dunno but I feel like Chenya has like the worst habit of impulse buying you've ever seen so they never carry money on they to try and avoid it at Trey and Riddle's recommendation. It's mostly worked as Neige buys anything Chenya needs when they go out anyways.

- Anyways, I was fighting my demons to not make him black and I lost. I dunno, we don't have enough sweet, cute black boys in media and that is a crime.

- I gave him some hairclips with cute lil charms on them and some of those silly little acne patches. Idk if he actually has acne, he totally could, but I think he'd wear them either way to like normalise not be ashamed of it, y'know?

- I gave him some cute little apple earrings which were a gift that Rook gave him after a concert with one of his letters lol. He wears most of the jewelry gifted to him at one point or another but he really likes the apple earrings.

- Has a crush on Vil. Idk how popular of a headcanon that is but as soon as they interacted, I felt like it made sense. I love the one-sided rivalry lmao with Vil hating his ass and he's just like, 'Omg, she's so pretty and cool and smart. Wow, I'm so glad we get to work together so much!' It's really funny ngl.k

- Loves to crochet, knit, and sew. All are kinda skills he picked up while caring for the dwarves but they're his favourite to do. He's made Chenya a few sets of mittens (because for some super mysterious reason, they always go missing) and a quilt at some point.

- Likes anything with apples in it, pies, drinks, you name it. Fall is his favourite season because of apple cider alone (otherwise it'd be spring).

- I kept his design also pretty on model, darken his skin a smidge and textured his hair to match Leona's. Smacked some dimples and birthmarks on as if he wasn't cute enough already.

- The gold eyeliner is like a royal thing, maybe be specific to the crown line or maybe Leona's just too fcking lazy, probably the later.

- He's actually really good at chess. He's played many games with Leona, even though he didn't get it at first, but now he can beat most people who play him (still not Leona lest he really screws up something). Most of his birthdays, he gets a new pretty chess set and he has a little display of them in his room.

Now for his dad! The only character here without a canon design (as far as I know... which I'm upset about).

I woulda also made a design for his wife but I don' think she even has a name?? So maybe in the future.

- I based him more on Leona, trying to make sure that Cheka didn't just get his trait lmao. I think that he got his piercing actually after Leona got his because the palace staff were criticising him for it so Farena went and got one.

- I dunno, he's giving bi wife energy. It helps that the women of Sunset Savannah are buff and cool and I'm so mad we never saw them 😭😭😭 I wanna see Leona's sister-in-law so bad ;^;.

- He's not as much into the intellectual side of things like Leona is, would rather defeat people with strength which is why the two really don't get along super well. Though I think it's only perceived on Leona's side, I don't think Farena realises how much hurt Leona's had throughout his life.

- Angst aside, he doesn't get much in the way of free time what with all his royal duties and such. His favourite activities are spoiling his family and getting used as a weight for his wife's daily exercise!

Fair warning, I haven't encountered any of the last three characters lol.

- I didn't change much here either, just added some red streaks to her hair and matched her palette to Jamil's.

- I don't know if her age is ever implied but I think she'd be younger than him by like a year. She went to a different school with Kalim's cousin (who they're like besties).

- I feel like Najima didn't get the same set of exceptions set on her growing up and so her relationship with the Al-Asims, while still not necessarily healthy, was nowhere near as damaging. I think that while Jamil definitely envies that, he'd rather die than make her go through the same thing as him.

- I based her off my Deuce design and really just added some more piercings. I actually toned down the blonde streaks but I think they'd both have just a few.

- I believe she has a small business??? Or something? I didn't read the wiki but her hat had a delivery service me thinks but I stan her having a small business.

- She loves her son very much and was super excited when she saw his new piercings. Also, super accepting when he came out, obvi and thinks that while Ace is a bit of a rascal, they do click together.

I don't have a ton for her but I want that event to come back pleaseeee 🙏🙏🙏

- I had so much fun with her horns. I made them more branchy and I think a full grown dragon (well, like an old one) would basically have a web of antlers. I added some purple to the tips for the 🌸aesthetic🌸.

- Also added some wave to her hair. Malleus looked in her spitting image so I figured I'd give Levan's genes a chance lmao. They're also super tall, probably even taller than Mal herself and especially with the horns.

- I think she'd have left some things that Malleus ended up growing up with not realising they were from her, like a hair clasp, some assorted jewelry, a couple toys and items that Lilia gave him when he was old enough. Pieces of her for him to grow up with, y'know?

The blonde boy felt the absence of his best friend more and more every day. Going to school every morning felt like torture.

Today he used that road again, which he had not used for a long time. While walking slowly to school, he saw that the restaurant where he and Fujio had eaten was no longer there. A small cafe was opened in its place.

When he smiled at the memories that came to his mind and wanted to continue his way, he saw someone smiling at him in the corner. A cute girl, who he thought was around his age, was looking at him and smiling. Not knowing how to react, he gave a small nod and continued walking.

While the beginning of the week was bad as usual, Tsukasa took that route again on the second day. He didn't even know why he was passing there. Did he want to remember the memories again? Or were his feet pulling him somewhere?

While passing by the cafe, the young boy saw the same girl again. He thought she must be working here. After placing the orders on the table with a smile, the young girl raised her head and their eyes met again.

He wanted to turn her head and leave. It was annoying that someone would smile at him when he felt so miserable. But before he could react, the girl quickly came to him.

“Hello,” she said cheerfully. “We still have tables if you want to come.”

The young girl had a very sweet voice. He didn't know what a beautiful voice should be like, but Tsukasa could show her voice as the most beautiful voice.

“Thank you,” the young boy answered clearly. He had a cold tone as usual. “I have to go to school.”

The young girl nodded and smiled.

“We always would like to see you here, have a nice day.”

She was a kind person. Maybe she was just like that because of her job. He didn't know. But he shook his head and started walking again.

While he was dealing with a different problem every day at school, he wanted the days to end as soon as possible. The young boy continued to use that road throughout the week. He passed by the same cafe every day, greeted her with the young girl's smile and went to school. But he didn't even know why he did this.

School that day was going worse than ever. His friends were beaten and he didn't know what to do. He thought everything was pointless.

That day, the young boy passed by that cafe much later than usual. Although the young girl was surprised, she smiled again. He felt his heart ache when he looked at the girl whose name he didn't even know.

“Don't smile at me, please don't. I don't have the strength to smile back." he thought. But the young girl had already decided to walk towards him.

"Hello."

When she greeted with her usual sweet voice, Tsukasa didn't want to open his mouth. He was having a terrible day and was afraid of saying something wrong. Still, he nodded slightly.

“I think you're going somewhere, but something tells me you'll find answers wherever now you go. You won't regret it, you're making the right decision."

Y/n smiled as Tsukasa looked at the young girl in shock. When someone inside called out to the young girl, she turned around and nodded her head.

"Sorry. I have to go, take care.”

The girl, whose name he learned days later was y/n, he looked after her for a while as she left. What and how did she know? Even he hadn't decided yet to go see Fujio.

Even though it was a little scary, there was only a peaceful feeling inside him.

The next day, Tsukasa passed by that cafe again, quite late. He even thought the cafe was closed, but he came anyway. When he saw the tables starting to clear, he hesitated whether to go in or not. Moreover, he was sure that the girl would think he was crazy when she saw the dried mud on his clothes and face.

He decided to turn around and leave. But before he could turn around and leave, the young girl left the cafe with garbage bags in her hands.

When she saw the young boy covered in dried mud in front of the door, of course she had a surprised expression on her face. But then her gaze softened and she smiled.

“Good evening, unfortunately we are closing.”

"I know," Tsukasa said with a smile. The young girl smiled again when she saw him smile for the first time. “I came to see you.”

Y/n looked at him in surprise, there was no stern expression on her face but she was surprised.

“I wanted to say thank you. Face to face.Maybe I'm scaring you right now, I'm sorry."

“No,” the young girl giggled. “You don't scare me. I guess I was just a little worried and surprised."

Tsukasa smiled and nodded

“I literally rolled in the mud.”

Y/n laughed, Tsukasa thought once again how beautiful she was.

“Sometimes beauty cannot be covered despite all the dirt. I know you're a good person, so you don't scare me."

Tsukasa shyly muttered a thank you when the young girl suddenly spoke her mind.

“Well… how did you understand?”

"From your eyes. You had tired, bored but kind eyes. Now you look more hopeful but still kind.”

Tsukasa smiled again.

“Actually, I wanted to ask how you understood that day. Did you understand from my eyes again?

Y/n giggled.

“I can feel that you are missing someone, there was an uncertain expression on your face.Just… I just wanted to help you choose, I guess…. So how did it go? Did you regret it?

Tsukasa smiled again and shook his head.

“No, that's why I came to thank you. Tsukasa, Takajo Tsukasa.” The blonde boy introduced himself and y/n smiled.

“Y/n, nice to meet you.”

Tsukasa nodded and took out a small chocolate bar from his pocket.

“You must be tired after all day. Please accept it as a small thank you gift, y/n. Tomorrow, I will come again. To the cafe.”

Y/n laughed and nodded. She thanked him, took the chocolate and put it in her pocket.

As Tsukasa said goodbye, he felt at peace again after a long time. His best friend was coming back, but life wasn't as bad anymore as he waited for his return.

Oh you. Yushiro, a cactus by any other name would be just as barbed. I adore this prickly pear. But the more and more I think about and fawn over this idea…. I feel like I need an entire soapbox (and separate post) for Yushiro as a dad. He would one hundred percent be the dad that snuggles an unwanted family pet. The Kamado child is NOT as cute as his. Godzilla scream.  But for now, I give you this.

Setting: Yushiro x gn!reader

Content Warnings: SFW, babysitting, domestic fluff, spoilers for post war [canon pairings]

Summary: headcanons on what Yushiro would be like as a babysitter.

A/N: you cannot convince me Yushiro would NOT look at Nezuko's little one, and think sure-- they're alright. but [YN] and his kid would be precious.

Taking care of a child, even if only for a small period is not a decision Yushiro takes lightly. It is one that is approached with sincere consideration. The spell weaver is more than aware of the implications taking care of a weaker creature entails as well as his own short comings.

Because of this, in most cases, he will adamantly refuse. Often without even providing his own reasoning. The demon is the sort to utter a sharp, “No” before slamming the door in the requestor’s face at full force.

If it hits them, they should have been more considerate of their manners. Serves them right.

However, I can imagine that are some existential circumstances in which he will allow himself to be dragged into the duties of a caretaker. But he’s going to complain.

There is of course if you should make the request of him. Yushiro will muddle through every practical excuse he can outsource for not choosing to take care of the Hashibara brat. Such as the fact he is not confident it is housebroken. The occasional one that he deems substantial, he’ll spill from his lips as quickly as he has conjured it.  Surely the Kamados are available.

However, the moment he sees the smile that has graced your features. The way your finger coos and beckons play, delighted by the little oinker’s cherub features. It’s going to be a long night. He’s a sucker, a simple. He knows it, and it will take little convincing once he sees the yearning touch up on your features.

Yushiro is threatening Inosuke to remain mindful of the time.

However, I think there are special circumstances in which he would be the one to offer childcare. Such as when Tanjiro inquires if the two of you would be up for taking care of the little ones for a bit.

Initially, Yushiro has rejected his request. Insisted that you’ve far too much to do for the time being, and Tanjiro being Tanjiro accepted he bold faced lie with a smile. The tilt of his head, the jingle of his hanafuda earing as he reassures Yushiro that he understands, he will just ask the Haribaras to take care of his little ones while he runs errands.

The gentle natured man waving his hand, the similar gestured copied by that of the child at his side, and one secured to his back as he sets off for Inosuke and Aoi’s residence.

Yushiro will accept it; try to convince himself that the Haribaras are more than capable of caring for a child.

Right? No, no of course they are. Their own children are doing well enough.

Somehow.

It’s only when he sets to work to procure groceries for the night’s dinner, passing Aoi upon his route that the realization sinks in. Inosuke. Has. The. Child.

Discarding all of his items in a single hall, the mad dash to the Haribara residence. Every fear evident on the sweat of his brow, the boar’s childcare a resemblance of torture. He will give Tanjiro a lecture for ever being stupid enough to leave the little ones in ITS care.

One way or another, whether brought on by your insistence to spend time with the little piglet’s façade of adorableness as if for one moment it will not mark the furniture as it snuggles into your arms, or of the obvious stress and rage, fretting over the stupidity the younger brat had inquired.

The Kamado children slung under his arms, leaving him only too kick down the door if you had somehow not heard his approach. A rage fueled scolding threatening to boil over.

Either way, the children are now in your care for the night.

To his dismay, smaller children insist on clinging to his sleeves. Beckoning him to play, daring to challenge him. Similar to the way an older cat is pestered by smaller children.

He doesn’t understand why the child insists on interacting with him. He has met its based needs; you’re more than available.

Does it really not understand that he has expressed he does not wish to be touched? Why is it doing that? Not the books. Not the books! He has told them time and time again! The bookshelf is unleveled, they’ll hurt themselves. Why doesn’t it listen? What is this sticky texture? Dogs have better manners.

WHY IS IT STICKY?

It will be a lot of back and forth banter, ones that edge upon the fray of his insanity. Some part of his questions how any demon in their right mind would make a meal of such small annoying creatures.  

The Kamados willing opted to further their bloodline.

Before, the fatigue has met his age. The ends of his hair curled and jutted at odd ends, submitting himself to whatever sticky torture the little credent’s have in store for him. Yushiro is just too worn out to fend himself off any further.

Where as the smaller child’s mere close proximities, its insistence to remain at his side, to lay upon his laps, and listen to the textbooks he has at his disposal are of high demands, it is the older child that has truly sparked his ire.

The slit of his cat like, lavender eyes tracing the silhouette of your form, and the little trespasser who dares to insist entangling his arms around your waste. That of a little duckling that insists upon toddling after you despite the fact you are attempting to prepare its dinner. It’s honeyed false words, sweet and well-practiced.

Far too smooth for its age, lulling you into its hold with its large eyes. How it convinces you to dismiss the way he dares to quip a knowing smile Yushiro’s way from time to time. Such as the way you pet its head.

The little bastard knowing all too well the angle its working, drawing his ire more and more. The little one has made a dangerous enemy. The way the Kamado child nuzzles into your chest, claiming the majority of your attention under the false pretenses it misses its mother. Not once has Yushiro ever seen that little narcist snuggle its mother so possessively.

The war of words, the little human’s tongue as sharp as his own leaving only the older demon in a poor lighting. As  though Yushiro had gone out of his way to initiate a war with the brat, the only one to receive your scolding for such immature behavior. It started it. He’ll pout from his seat, as the younger children cling to his features.

He’s not taking his eyes off of it.

Would be quick to seize the opportunity to instigate turmoil for the older child, such as allowing the younger children to launch an attack on their sibling. He didn’t see a thing.

Just gave them the blueprints.

Or the teasing pout of his tongue when he reminds you if the human’s impending bedtime. Still a brat. How agitated he openly expresses himself, the grit of his teeth when the little boy dares to point out that his mother tucks him in before bed and waits at his side until he drifts to sleep.

A worthy opponent.

Yet, as the later hours captures their small features. Innocence, and peaceful snores that meet the dead of night. Serene in the heaves of their chests beneath the heavy blanketing. Unaffected by their surroundings, succumbed to full bellies and the gentle lull of your lullaby. Drifted to sleep where they dropped.

The tender way he tucks them to bed, a secret he ushers you to keep from the others. The small smile that finds his lips, quick to tuck in the child that has strayed from its futon, and sooth the ends of the older child his enemy.  

Hush the occasional distress that falls between the roll of their bodies, eager to scoot just a little closer to his side. At first, he is refusing their approach. All too well of the importance of bedtime routine and trying to instill it on the small human despite its efforts.

The blissful late hours giving way to the fall of your eyelashes, in which the child launches one last chance to curl into Yushiro’s lap. He’ll tell himself, that it’s the fatigue, or perhaps trauma bonding, but he does not fight the curl of  the child’s chubby hands as it tucks to his side.

The delicate way he finds himself cupping the child to his chest and rocking it into the depths of the night. A lullaby that he had carried from his humanity, near erased amongst the passage of time.

If you should stir to the high of his voice, he will deny your inquiry in the morning. Swear that your dreams have robbed you of your senses. Denied at every turn.

Would be the type to wake up early in the morning if your babysitting duties have resulted in an impromptu sleepover. Inosuke would be the type to lose track of time and leave his kid far longer than promised. An early riser, quick to set to making breakfast.

Rice that has been given an added touch of umami as well as sweetener to appeal to the little ones, fried eggs, and octopus sausages, procured from his funds the means of adding extra apple rabbits to the plates.

Don’t you dare draw attention to it.

Yushiro is still going to give the Kamdos an earful for daring to leave their child in Inosuke’s care, incase you had forgotten, or to flip the bill to Aoi if any of the furniture should require laundering after a few “accidents”.

 After you’ve waved the families away, he’ll insist he’s relieved to see the little trespasser have left, but you will not miss the gentle tone in which he utters each little one’s name. Nor the way he safeguards the drawings they little ones have left in the garden sands.

Swears the little ones would cry if their artwork were disposed of---- not that he’s welcoming it back any time soon!

Truthfully, I don’t think it’s so much that Yushiro hates children by default. Rather, I believe he’s well aware of his own emotional short coming.

Children, especially toddlers have high emotional needs, and require a well-developed caretaker to address each one as they come. That of which, Yushiro knows he lacks the emotional aptitude.

Because of this, I can see babysitting suddenly being sprung on him coming at a cost of his emotional well being. He’s stressed. Holding the child away from his body as he walks. All while pondering, what is he supposed to do with this?

No, without an fully drafted plan of care, or routines unique to the expected child, Yushiro is panicked and uneasy. You may smile and reassure him that it will come to him—it’s merely nature. But what if such instincts were absolved in his demonic state?

Speaking of care of routine, I can imagine Yushiro being the type that when he has agreed to take a burden in even for a small time, he’s the sort to take meticulous notes on its care.

How often should he feed it, does it know how to use the facilities on its own? The look on his face when the parents insist that he addresses their bundle of joy as such, rather than a dog. He’s reminding them a dog has better manners.

As a care taker, Yushiro is the type to instill strict regimen—to be fair all of his rules are all well thought out with the intentions of protecting the child.

However, he is rigid, and when the child does not abide by instruction, he’s likely to be far more temperamental than he should. Especially for smaller children. Oh god it’s crying.

Realistically, he’s kind of an ideal babysitter by the parent’s standards, especially when he has reviewed the day’s agenda, and emergency contacts, but for the child, he’s a near nightmare. You want a treat? Here’s an extra serving of peppers.

Though, he is rather combative and competitive by nature, and I suspect that you may enjoy walking upon the smallest, pettiest of competitions that ignite play in the old soul, such as sniffing out a hidden child in a game of hide and seek, or parrying wooden sword after practice weapon with ease.

Secretly delights in the awestruck eyes as the children gaze up at him. Offers a knowing laugh, and offers to teach them—when they’re older.

He will not instruct milk drinkers.

That being said, I can see him having warmer bedside manners for children, such as the Kamados that he is more familiar, or exposed to regularly. Perhaps because it gives him a small obtainable interaction, he has see the way Kanao soothes her children, or the firm approach Aoi regards her little piglet with; he’ll do his best to apply what he has observed to practice.

In fact, because of how routine infants often are, I suspect that Yushiro would not only enjoy taking care of a baby, but would find it a comfort in comparison to the sticky terrors that toddlers provide.

Babies are simplistic, in a way that provides him wit the confidence to meet their needs with little hesitation. He has studied the child’s cries and cooes, and responds accordingly.

The little “eh”, as it struggles to arch its back, Yushiro will be proactive, quick to usher the child in the righted position, and offer gentle pats across its back. Praying for the burp to release the infant from its discomfort.

The little creature is so small and frail between his fingers, he would likely not be up to applying the proper force into his pats only frustrating it and him.

Always worried that he may break it, and yet, they are simple creatures. Able to address their needs in the smallest of coos, delighting in the snuggles that are offered.  

But, the cries will send him to his knees.

Just as it would with the toddlers, because at the end of the day, Yushiro struggles processing his own emotional needs, so much so that he simply cannot handle the tears. He feels guilty that he is unable to address their needs. Or have a clue what the need is.

It is essentially his own hinderance in the emotional caretaking category that has him shudder away from emotional interactions. Frustrates and guilts him that he has not the means to soothe their tears, nor meet their cries as he should.

Aware that he may become frustrated.

But this experience has left him to run analysis of your relationship, of your hopes, and perhaps... having a little one of your own.

Again, post-MH Alex being encouraged to try and better himself (by Tim), but after what's happened, he's never gonna go back to what he was before MH. Even if Tim probably wouldn't expect this, knowing that after what they've both gone through, they probably couldn't "go back to how they were before", Alex would still think that's what Tim thought would happen.

Sorry for the late response. Been doing other stuff recently. I don’t really have many headcanons at the moment, but I hc that the events that take place happen over the course of a couple years, and that Midori’s hair grows out a little bit due to being unable to cut it, as well as developing a slight tan from working outside. Id like to think that she eventually was able to live a normal life and cope with her trauma. Also I hc that muchisute lost his arms in the war, because there is a lot of war themes throughout, and he wears a military cap and jacket, as well as his clothes possibly being worn down military clothes. I’ve heard somewhere that some people theorise he is a burn victim or had leprosy, but idk if anything has been confirmed (if anyone has a link to an article or interview pls lmk). I think that Benietsu (idk if I spelled that right) would be bisexual just bc she gives off that vibe yknow. She might’ve suffered from some sort of sexual trauma in the past, which is why she’s so hyper sexual (?). I’m 100% on board with the kind of canon? Theory? That muchi was abused by his mother as a child. I also think that Akaza and the worm/pretzel guys (are they ever given names?) are good friends, which is kind of canon. Does anyone know how old Kanabun is? Because he’s the same height as Midori, but the way he interacts with the others reads as more adult? This was just me going on tangents and realising I have more headcanons and theories than I thought 😭😭 anyways I hope everyone is having a good day/night/whatever and stay safe :D

JJK MANGA SPOILERS CHAPTER 236 BELOW CUT 😭

This is all my own opinion by the way, screenshots are my own, and please feel more then welcomed to give your view as well :).

Well for starters, I truly believe that Gojou is dead, everyone is there in his “dream” at the airport. But some take seats, I wonder what gojou told whomp to tell megumi about his dad? That if he were to die and what to tell him? Gojo admitting that SUKUNA IS strong and that he was holding back on him, which I do believe, and even admitting without the ten shadows he still wouldn’t have won. But Getou, saying “does it matter?” After satoru asked if it was a dream, maybe this is something similar that happened with him when Toji killed him but we never saw anything. Maybe, he is having one last moment before he comes back? Idk… it’s something though. He clearly is having regrets though. Regrets of losing his best friend, regrets with megumi, regrets with Nanami, Yaga is there, even others. All his regrets are in this airport.

I believe, that we can all agree with gojo. That, no matter what or who you speak to about things, you still can’t make others understand what you are going through in life or in general. It’s just like with Toji, satoru and sukuna, those three would really be the only ones to somewhat understand the isolation they went through.

3. NOW NANAMI SAID IT, we all know what happened with Getou, I would also include noya or whatever you spell it but that was due to him not dying from cursed energy. Though, they said it twice already, everyone in that airport lounge has regrets, Yaga with his students and maybe with how his technique works with using people souls and making them into cute toys. Saturo for obvious reasons, same with Getou. Nanami, with his bestie Yu, and probs with shibuya, riko and the maid (I can’t remember her name 😭, I’ll edit it once I find it again). But … a room full of people with regrets, but I want to know if there are others that have regrets that are dead aka Nobara. And they are all their younger selfs, is that when Satoru had the most regrets when he was young? I wonder if it plays a factor in it all, when it all started and how it started, it most certainly does it when everything went down hill.

5. MY MANS AHHHHHHHH, I … really don’t think gojou will come back.. he clearly is now at rest .. sort of, he is in a room full people he loves and missed. He doesn’t want it to be a dream but.. at the same time, I think something will happen in the following chapters where he comes back. Or something tries to take over his body, his essence someone tries to use it (look what happened to Toji with the beginning of the arc) I just don’t see this .. beginning the end. But I also DO see it beginning the end for Satoru Gojou.

6. Now, if I’m understanding this right, basically Mahgora adapated to his technique, but was trying to adapt to his infinity to get through it? If, they were able to break through that, then … game over for our man. But he was going PAST that, he had to get past everything else to get through to it, … so really the whole time they weren’t trying to adapt to his techniques but the infinity instead?? so when he had an opening when he was letting his guard down.. he took? Idk, I’m still trying to figure it out AND I’m just… in denial but want to be DULULU. Idk, if anyone can dumb it down that would be GREAT. Also, I wonder if this is how the battle between the zenin clan and gojou clan ended 👀

7. My last thing…..

Lps popular doodles! I really loved this show when I was little! I still do! When I watched I would imagine that Brooke and Savannah and all there friends were super fashionable (which is kinda alluded to in the show but not fleshed out to much). So I thought it would be fun to design and explore there style!

I personally though Brookes would fashion would be inspired by Regina George from mean girls and Coquette aesthetic because she gives off Regina vibes and I thought coquette clothing because it’s soft and girly which Brooke is but also some of the pieces can feel very business casual to me in a way. Like she’s put together and a bad bitch but she got the fun pink to go with it! Also the innocent nature that goose with the coquette style can help Brooke seem more helpless and can manipulate people better. Because one thing Brooke is she is calculated! When it comes to manipulation she will think things through and use everything in her power to get what she want like her outfit!!!

Now with Savanna I think she would have a mix of Genny (who I see as a downtown girl aesthetic/clothing) and Brookes style! At the beginning of the series we see Savannah isn’t well dressed or “pretty” as the others and so when she gets her make over her friends influence her style hence her borrowing Genny style but also copying Brooke to in ways because they use to be friends and also because in a way she still chasing her acceptance and she is the most influential person in her life. So she’ll mix pieces from both of the styles to make her own unique outfits but also sometimes sticks to one style. Also added bonus when Savy start dating Tom I think she would sometimes she would wear his letterman jacket because 1. He’s a football player so it shows off her poplar girl status like “yeah I’m dating a football player you wish you were me”, 2. To shove it in Brookes face that she is as popular and getting even more popular then her, 3. Rub it in Sages face and “ show him what he’s missing” and 4. Tom is the kind of boyfriend to give her the jacket he’s sweet like that. ( I don’t like Sage as her boyfriend… like obviously Brooke and Savy are like exs and I could go on how there so sapphic coded and there that horrible awful first sapphic situationship break up but this is not what this post is about today. Umm anyways wall this to say about of the two boys for me it’s Tom over Sage.)

Also side note the reason I don’t mention Savannah not borrowing her style from Lina because I don’t see her to be as fashionable as Genny because it’s been mentioned before in the series she not as into popularity as Savvy and Jenny are so I feel like Savanna didn’t look to her as much. I still do think she got influence of outfits from her but I see her as more laid back with her fashion. Like she has a good style and has really good outfits it isn’t as calculated while at times I feel Genny and Savy will really think there outfits throughout to try and get things and have certain influences like Brooke dose. ( now that I think about this I feel like I got this wrong because Lina is the one that has the idea to take her shopping but I don’t I feel like Savvy has more of a fashion connection with Jenny for some reason.)

Anyway can you tell I like LPS popular and still have so much to say about years later 😭 Also sorry if you see any spelling mistakes with the characters names I wrote this all out and then realized Savy and Gens names are spelt different then how I spelt them and I attempted to fix them but idk if I got it all oh well. okay get ready bc it’s a LOOONG explanation:

i was part of some shakespeare / acting class and i was at the front of the room writing on the whiteboard while analyzing a script about a breakup which was kind awkward because my ex was in the class

fast forward, im visiting my neighbors who are animals for some reason?? and i bring a few of them soup and i do a little silly thing where i scoop soup from a big bucket and put it into a smaller bucket but then i look and feel stupid because he goes “i didn’t mean actually do that what the fuck-“.

i ask my neighbors who’s a rabbit if he’ll go over the lines i had taken notes of in class with mewhen i’m not around, someone video calls the rabbit neighbor and basically shows him the screen of what MY laptop was currently showing that HE was holding?? and it’s obviously my laptop bc he’s holding his own laptop beside it with a copy of my google doc that has corrections from mistakes i made in class (ex: spelling someone’s name wrong)

then he gets and interrogation-y and starts threatening him. like “what the FUCK are you doing with her right now?! you’re gonna practice lines with her? are you fucking serious? tell her you can’t. tell her you have a friend who’ll be even better at helping her and send her my way-“

except i think the rabbit neighbor also had a crush on me?? but i was also fully aware that this guy (who may have been my ex or the teacher, i don’t even know-) was absolutely INSANE and down bad for me… and i don’t think i was opposed to it like k should’ve been- 🤭

Cleaved AU is a self-indulgent canon-divergent hypothetical rewrite @saik0m0che and I have been working on (passively 💀) since the end of svtfoe s3. but I've always had this sort of idea/concept from mid s2

other than maybe a few minor changes for s1-2, post battle for mewni is straight up where I take the reigns

first of all. Toffee doesn't die.

but star DOES still "kill him" at the end of BFM, it's just that I refuse to let his soul pass on (for unfinished business!)

the premise here takes from s2's emotionally charged magic of star's wand crystal being cleaved apart, to then cleaving her & toffee's souls together. which means they share all of each other's pain haha! so bcuz they're together, you can't kill or crystallize toff since that would harm star

but how? idk man something abt the two of them being in the realm of dying butterfly magic at the same time. something abt how toffee is no longer flesh, only decaying essence. something abt how star sorta died and came back to life just as she saved the realm. he's like a parasite!

I hc he wasn't gonna live long after BFM if star hadn't killed him off anyway. but still :(

not only does this "murderer" have to live with star at the castle (likely in the dungeon first, they'd want to break the bond of their souls), he's missing 90% of his memories — because star brutally obliterated him & he spent a very long time in the magic realm alone chanting the same spell over and over again

on the bright side, eclipsa later finds company in him, even doe he doesn't remember her (but very much trusts her 🥺)

oh yeah he & eclipsa dated in the past and became good friends after (Globgor was the one who introduced them shsghsj)

second. Glossaryck stays dead.

or rather isn't physically there with the main cast. he can't die, he just decided to let things unfold and watch at a distance

he does come around for Meteora's Lesson

rest in pudding is when star & toffee are officially cleaved! she starts asphyxiating from time to time after the funeral scenes and especially while chasing Glossy's "ghost"/reflections. he leads her to a crystallized toffee and THAT'S when they meet again. it also gives me a fun reason to do a parallel scene (redraw lol) of moon & eclipsa

you just KNOW rhombulus is gonna go through the hardest time here and he is my boy <3

lastly, SEPTARSIS!!!

this needs some episode rearranging, but maybe after Butterfly Trap, star & toffee go on a trip to septarsis with yvgeny to find a way to cleave their souls and potentially get toffee's memories back. star introduces herself as Star Johansen since everyone there hates the Butterflys. she sticks with the name from that point on

toffee does regain his memories (but can't recall them all at once, it's a process that takes time) and star is met with the revelation that he & celena were in love, making him her great great grandfather. it's also revealed how toffee managed to make the magic realm decay, and that celena was the one who helped him

oh yeah. other things;

marco pretends he's fine for his friends & family, trying to hide the fact he misses star, so his parents convince him to be the exchange student for once. but since he has dimensional scissors anyway, he visits every 1-2 weeks? not sure abt jarco. long distance? still breakup? ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

he might still be an unofficial squire cause that's for fun

Pony Head CAN get a prosthetic horn. but she actually goes through some kind of character development 😭

this is ofc mostly s3 as s4 makes me so angry and bored fgshjs,, in the end magic is still "destroyed" and that's how star & toffee are finally free of each other. toffee gets to fight & kill mina while the redemption spell is cast, and he's reunited with celena to peacefully pass on :)

also the MHC aren't killed off nor is "Earthni" a thing 🤮

I'm definitely forgetting a lot of other stuff! plus the au's not wholly developed aha
