Yomiel and his padawan, Shiseru have just crashed in the planet and were trying to figure out a way to fix their ship so they could fly back to the Temple.

“Honestly, I don’t know either. My padawan and I have just crashed here.” The blond Jedi says, looking a bit confused at the clone trooper. “We were being chased by some droids when our ship crashed.”

Star Wars AU (I know you saw it coming!)

Yomiel couldn’t belive the Council assigned Master Cabanela to go with him in this mission. He didn’t get along much with the old Jedi Master ever since Jowd dragged him in to be trained, despite being considered too old to be trained as a padawan. He never understood why, but maybe Cabanela was just upset that Jowd was just too busy training his new padawan to spend time with him. At least that’s what he guessed. Master Cabanela was one of the most important Jedi in the Council, so Yomiel had to respect him, liking it or not. He was just a Jedi Knight, on his way to get his rank as Master and be a part of the Council. He would prove to Cabanela that he was worthy of being a part of the Jedi Order.

“Master.” Yomiel nodded respectfully as he greeted the older Jedi on the hangar. “I was expecting you. Master Jowd contacted me a few minutes ago, said he’ll join us as soon as he can, but right now he’s helping duchess Alma in Mandalore with a group of rebels that tried to seize power from her.” Yomiel had always suspected there was something going on between his Master and the duchess but he never dared to comment, since he was also secretly married to Senator Sissel. “Master Ray only gave me a few instructions. As far as I know, we’ll have to ensure Senator Sissel’s safety while she negotiates with the leaders of the Banking Clan.” Yomiel just hoped everything would go alright on this mission.

Seluna was just minding her goddamn business, sitting in silence in the cargo compartment of her ship - which was idly floating in space at the moment - and eating a slice of stale bread dipped in cold soup. She didn’t have enough credits to afford better food and she didn’t like spending too much time outside her ship anyway. Being a bounty hunter got her enemies, and both the Jedi Order and the Sith were looking for her. She didn’t want anything to do with either side, so she was content enough with eating anything to begin with.

Until a familiar feeling tugged at the back of her head. She wasn’t in danger– not yet, but she could sense the Force shifting around her, like tides in a puddle after someone stepped in it.

She didn’t say anything. With the simple movement of a finger, she pulled at the Force around the intruder like she were pulling at a rope tied around his waist; an attempt to pull him out of his hideout and make him fall at her feet.

“No one told you that it’s rude to sneak in a lady’s ship without permission?��

Shit, he was found. The blond Jedi looked at the woman, with his blond hair falling on his face and obscuring part of his view. There was a laughing noise in the background as the Trianii padawan couldn’t hold his laughter at his Master being caught red-handed. Yomiel had to hold himself not to shout at his padawan right now.

“So I’ve been told.” He grunted a snark as he tried to get his hair out of his eyes.

“He’s never been good at sneaking!” Shiseru couldn’t help to tease his Master. Since they were found, there was no need to hide himself.

“I have to remind you, my padawan, that you’re also an intruder in her ship.” He snapped back at the Trianii, who was still laughing at his Master in the corner.

Yomiel tried to stand up, adjusting his red robe and finally looking at Seluna with his bright blue eyes. “My name is Yomiel and that laughing ball of fur over there is my padawan, Shiseru. We’ve been sent here by my Masters, Jowd and Cabanela. They want me to bring you back to the Temple. Stupid mission, I know.” He grunted. Why didn’t they sent him to kill some droids? It was much more fun than having to go after lost padawans. “But orders are orders, so.... Yeah, you’re comin’ with us.”

Star Wars AU!

“Holy shit, this ship is a mess!” Yomiel said as soon as he entered the abandoned ship. Or at least it seemed abandoned, because he didn’t saw anyone near it. 

“Well, it’s better than our old ship, at least. Also, you’re not one to talk!” The Trianii padawan complained.

“Shut up, Shiseru! I took good care of my ship, alright?”

“Yeah, right. You took care of her so well that she ended up exploding!”

“It wasn’t my fault!” Yomiel snapped at his padawan. It was just another regular day for the two Jedi, another mission gone terribly wrong and now they would have to steal borrow this ship to get away of this planet.

“Damn, Jowd’s gonna kill me…” He grunted as he typed on the ship’s panels in an attempt to turn it on so they could get out to safety.  His padawan was just chuckling at his Master in the corner. It was his specialty to tease his Master at every opportunity but Yomiel was too concentrated on trying to hack the ship’s system that he didn’t realize someone else was there.

[She covered her mouth, realizing that she had just been rambling. How embarrassing!]

“I’m Brenda! I’m not a Jedi Knight. Or a droid engineer.”

[Not much of anything, actually. Especially when compared to Yomiel.]

“But I do know a thing or two about brewing some great tea!”

The blond Jedi let out a sight. The girl seemed excited about the idea of being a Jedi, unlike him, who never really enjoyed it.

“Well, I guess I would say so. All Jedi are picked up as children so I was raised in the Temple. About it being fun... I’m not so sure... It’s too exciting for a guy like me... I only wanted to be a normal dude. I never asked for this, to be honest.”

(Not having commitments... What a stupid code.) He thought bitterly.

“Well, nice to meet you, Brenda. Guess your tea must be great.”

(I wonder what planet is this girl from? Amidst all this war, she manages to survive by making tea? She must be interesting.)

“Hmm... I guess so. With this piece here and the other there I guess we can make it work again, let’s give it a try.” He tapped the side of the ship as if to encourage it to work again. 

“Let’s put this lady back to work now! Wanna do the honors?” He said with a smile.

The Jedi knight was suddenly interrupted by a girl approaching him. He had been working on fixing this R2 droid unity, something he loved to do on his spare time. He had been tired of listening to his Masters, Jowd and Cabanela speaking about the ways of the Force. He was tired of hearing about the Force. He hadn’t chose this fate of being a Jedi, he just wanted to be a normal guy… and be able to marry the woman he had learned to love, senator Sissel… Maybe he should just quit the Jedi order. He was sure Shiseru, his Trianii padawan would understand.

The blond lifted his eyes towards her with a hint of annoyance for being interrupted in the middle of his works.

“R2-D2? No, this one is just an ordinary R2 unity. Apparently, it’s not working properly, so I’m fixing it.”

He finally stood up. His appearence was quite unique among the Jedi. He was the only Jedi known to wear red robes and his hairstyle was quite unique too, though today it was falling down his shoulders in its natural way. The two lightsabers hanging from his belt were enough to tell everyone he was a Jedi knight serving the Republic.

“I’m Yomiel, Jedi Knight and aspiring droid engineer. And who might you be?”
