Yomiel was having a particularly bad day. Actually, most days were bad days for a guy like him. Depression came in waves, knocking him down everytime he tried to stand up. And just when he though he was ready to let go and be happy again, another wave would come and drown him again. It was like he couldn’t escape it, no matter how hard he tried.

“Sinking slowly towards the bottom of an endless sea...” That’s how it felt. Everytime. In the end, it seemed like he couldn’t really escape that fate, be it literally or metaphorically. The man in red whispers quietly to himself before realizing someone was standing near him.
