I can only imagine how much panic Gumshoe must've been in the moment his communication line with Miles cut out and they couldn't find him anymore. Not only does that mean he very likely was kidnapped too and is now in the hands of (probably) a bunch of violent criminals but that Gumshoe blames himself for Miles ending up in this situation in the first place because he wasn't vigilant enough. If his behaviour during 1-4 is any indication, Gumshoe probably spent a lot of time screaming at other people until Miles was found and rescued doing everything in his power to save him but being unable to do so or even confirm that he's not hurt. Poor Gumshoe...

i know aai2 is a fan favorite but i’m ngl im on the second to last case and im still just Not buying it. mostly because they keep trying to force this theme of “oooohhh is edgeworth gonna leave being a prosecutor to become a defense attorney with his dad’s colleague ?? he’s already in hot water at the prosecutor’s office! what’s gonna happen next!” fucking nothing dawg. because you can’t make a character where most of their personality is learning to expose truths through prosecuting rather than defending and learning to make good with the hand that you’re dealt and then try to convince me that something would ever change that. like no i don’t believe edgeworth would ever become a defense attorney he literally underwent a massive ego death just to figure out you shouldn’t lie in court

there’s just. no suspense in this overarching plot because i already know what the outcome will be. you can see it from a mile away just based on how the character is structured. so like why should i CARE

OMG, Miles' little angry face, it's so cute! These HD chibi sprites are the best decision they ever made, period. You can even see that his hands are actually tied up with a rope. Poor Miles. And look at chibi Rhoda, she's so cute!

Also love Miles asking everyone else to remain calm when he makes this face and immediately starts yelling at people a second later.
