finished re4r i mean it was all right
#mixed feelings on it#pretty fun but bordered on fucking tedious and awful a decent number of times which isn’t something i ever experienced with the original#a lot of balance issues in enemy encounters that even adaptive difficulty couldn’t fix because the game was Made with those issues#also i’m gonna be totally honest i used a rocket launcher on saddler#experienced most of the fight organically then died pretty far in and didn’t gaf enough to do it all again#plus it’s pretty much the exact same as the og and i already beat that Normally so like.#regarding pace i think the game was paced very badly considering an issue a lot of ppl had with og was how Long it felt#so naturally making it LONGER is gonna be WORSE#i actually never really felt the length of og at least until getting to that shipping container thing fight#but i started feeling the length of this game towards the end of the village section 😭

I like how the homestuck pilot stuff is just giving everyone a rude awakening that a lot of indie creators know each other and respect each others work and that your individual cringe does not exist in a vacuum. And that at the end of the day you’re all clowns.
