While Phoebe is with him, Piper sees her friend Brittany Reynolds, who is now elderly and has a poor memory after being attacked by the photographer. Brittany recognizes the address of the photographer, allowing Prue and Piper to arrive in time to vanquish the demon named Javna and reverse the damage it had done.

Cole Porter, an American composer and songwriter, passed 60 years today.

Classically trained, he was drawn towards musical theater. After a slow start, he began to achieve success in the 1920s and by the 1930s he was one of the major songwriters for the Broadway musical stage. Unlike most successful Broadway composers, Porter wrote both the lyrics and the music for his songs.

Charmed S1 Ep2 I've Got You Under My Skin

The Sisters: We have powers that we can't control so we will just not use them

Phoebe: *Uses them because she didn't agree and can't help it anyway*

Prue: *Uses her powers all the time because she's a massive fucking hypocrite*

Piper: *uses her power once by accident and has a panic attack about it*

First of all Piper is the heart and soul of this show with her anxious energy and cuteness.

I love Piper and have a massive Piper bias just so you know

Prue has massive commitment issues and I want to know why her and Andy originally broke up so bad.

Also Hello Andy's Tits. I appreciate the eye candy

The Villian was one dimensional and barely relevant. Most of the episode was divided into:

A: Piper being anxious

B: Prue dealing with the fallout of fucking and leaving Andy and having a weird conversation about it in the elevator on her way to her interview

Phoebe almost getting turned old was almost an afterthought

It's been awhile since I've watched charmed but I'm getting the idea that the auction house guy is:

1. Evil

2. Really wants Prue to step on him

Also these girls cannot lie for shit what the fuck

Anyway, on to the ratings!

Story: 5/10 - it was fine but not necessarily good

Acting: 6.5/10 - Phoebe was better and the writing has a lot to answer for but it's not great

Cheese: 7/10 - The effects around the bad guy and the cheesy thunder sound effect did some heavy lifting but still less than last week

Enjoyment: 8/10 - Andy's tits make it an 8

Effects: 2/10 - It was so bad. The eye beams were the worst with the floating at each other from across the room a close second. Dishonourable mention is the fucking paint twisting

Charm: 5.5/10 - That's mostly Hallie's performance as Piper is carrying this category with a bit of help from the sisterly bonding at times

Cringe: -2/0 - The phone call in the elevator was bad as well as all the awkward convos with Prue and Andy not quite talking about how well they fucked. Also the villian eye beams because they were that bad. But none made us cringe hugely

Aged like milk: -1/0 The "Thou shall not suffer a witch to live" scenes just felt a little outdated. Especially with how they were presented

I wouldn't call it a Happily Ever After but it's not a tragedy either.

Seriously, stay away from this one if you don't like toxic relationship dynamics or lots of sex.

Stubbornly rating Charmed secondary characters.

Andy Trudeau: 2/10. He's even worse in this episode.

Darryl Morris: 6/10. Slightly better but still much to be improved.

Javna: 5/10 only because he was the first bad guy in Charmed that scared me when I was a kid and I still remember it. Pretty amateur as a demon. Lousy incantation to defeat him, again.

Rex Buckland: 7/10. I remember him getting worse, but this was a pretty good introduction.

Hannah Webster: 7/10. She's pretty and her scene made me laugh (which is more than any scene with Andy can say!)

Pastor Williams: 0/10. Useless! Bad!
