Great work, as always, on the latest chapter! It got me wondering, if something happened to Nia, like she fell sick again and didn't recover this time, what would happen to Tobias? Would he revert to how he was when they first met?

I'd say even if Nia fell sick again and ended up passing away, Tobias would be all right in the end! Don't get me wrong, he'd definitely have a really rough period where he regressed for a while, but he's gone through a lot of personal growth and has a larger, stronger support system nowadays. He may not consider Junie, Team Shellshock, and Team Evergreen his friends yet, but they wouldn't leave him alone after something like that.

Eventually, he would recognize that Nia would want him to be happy even without her, and he would return to a healthier mindset. He would always miss her, though, and I don't think he'd end up continuing as a Seeker without her as his partner.

Now the question remains whether or not I'll follow PMD tradition and separate these two lovebirds by the end of the story. :)
