I want it complete and together.#Ruining the surprise a bit to say 'yeah its a digital art comic'#But its been tricky figuring out the style I want to use for it!#hence the swaths of MSpain(t) doodles that boil down to 'how would this look if I did X?'#I wanted to do a fully Black & White Ink style. But I scrapped it. Then I did small bits of colour. And scrapped it. Sigh.#This comic started out as just the first panel and then my brain went 'hold on. Its time to make a dumb joke'#Any disco elysium fans who finished the game probably know the scene I'm doing for the *actual* comic after seeing this <3#Anyways I know in my heart LWJ would roll the worst blunts ever his first time. #rare WIP preview from me#this is in like. 10 episodes. lmfao#its been really hard working this far ahead#my editor isnt giving me any feedback and my friends are very busy so it's felt quite lonely#which is fine! for my friends I mean. but its my editors job to give me feedback...#but the webtoon editors are extremely extremely extremely overworked and my series is set to end so I understand its low priority#its not her fault its webtoons fault. however. its still demotivating...#oh well l m a o#I should be much further ahead ngl LMFAO I want like 12 done but I come back in 2 weeks.#we'll see#when I get really stressed out I go full gamer mode#and usually I'll sink like 60 hours (like 5 days) into a game and then I'm good and move on#but this recent game that grabbed me is. its too much actually#bit uncontrollable ngl I think its an ADHD thing I mostly have just quit playing videogames at all#cause its like yeah being stressed cause theres too much work to do is not going to be helped by losing a week and a half to a game...#and yet.#anyways the game is satisfactory#my friend bought it for me and we've been playing together#and our shared file has. 100 hours on it. and we still havent beaten the game#we're close to beating it and it's not like we're rushing or anything#cause its fun to fuck around and zap eachother or whatever#but it's got me doing math. the exact kind of math I love to do. optimization#and its reminding me yeah in another life id have been an engineer#I'm glad I'm an artist but its always weird like yeah this is easily a path I could have gone down#'artists hate math' speak for yourself doing math calms me down! #daniel ricciardo#dr3#went on a hike the sunday after the official announcement and listened to this song on repeat for probably 3 of the 8 miles#POV: me in the middle of the woods telling myself to get it together#while crying about a 35 year old millionaire before I end up passing someone on the trail and they call the police on me#so song is about how female stars are treated overtime and when they first arrive they're praised for being authentic and refreshin#but once the shine wears off and they're a little older and reveal imperfections or they struggle they become a target for ridicule#and then they're discarded for the next new thing in town and the cycle keeps repeating itself forever#which to me so closely mirrors daniel's trajectory in F1 in the eyes of the media#but also when you take the lyrics at face value they are just so daniel...#the f1 ecosystem and more specifically the redbull “family” are fake as hell#and yet daniel is one of their most genuine products who actually can't be easily reproduced (but by god they'll try)#he showed a great deal of promise despite coming from a place that really never should've produced a successful f1 driver#because the cards were stacked against him and nobody really thought he would make it#but he did and he gave us 13 brilliant years (and he has SO much more to give and do and succeed at and he will)#but the wheel of time keeps spinning and the cycle continues for the next shiny new toy that they can nurture and then destroy#anyway i'm not totally in love with these gifs but I need to be done w/them and I had to exorcise this demon that was making me sad

My brain gaslit me into believing that Valerie got her outfit upgrade in D-Stabilized because she was the only remotely acceptable thing about that episode, so imagine my surprise upon watching Flirting With Disaster again and Technus, Lord of Drip and Shipping Gray Ghost, shoots her with the drip-upgrade beam and she (and everyone else standing around her) doesn't even question it.
#danny phantom#text#there's also the fact that she literally has no major appearances between those two episodes so it's no wonder I forgot tbh#it's always been a close contest of “Which DP character got Done Dirty the Most” for me but at least the other characters had SCREENTIME#like what is worse?#Being a good character and then by season 3 turning into a generic caricature of yourself?#or being a good character and then being MIA from the story for no sensical reason?#or being the character whose sole purpose for existing is 'let's character assassinate the family-driven antagonist by being his victim#TWICE and just f-ing off into the void afterward because WHO CARES ABOUT ANYTHING MATTERING OR BEING NUANCED & FUN'?#I love Danny Phantom and I'm not being ironic when I say that. I'll be thinking about this show and characters FOREVER

Okay, people understand that you don't just tag things "for exposure," right? If you slap a bunch of completely unrelated tags onto the end of your post, at best you're going to achieve the opposite of what you want because people are going to be annoyed at you, ignore your post entirely, and block you. At worst, people are going to (justifiably, because spamming unrelated tags like that is against the TOS) report you for spam.
It's bad enough to go into a tag and have to block a bunch of pornbots, but seeing someone fall for a fundraiser scam, answer said scam ask, and then tag their answer with a whole bunch of completely unrelated popular topics is just insane. At least the bots have an excuse for being brainless.
#this is different than just talking in the tags—like so#doing this is a time-honored tumblr tradition#what I'm talking about#is the person who tagged the scam ask they answered with “chocolate guy” (where I saw it)‚ “tmnt‚” and a dozen other popular tags#friends‚ nothing in the post was even close to being relevant to amaury guichon or the teenage mutant ninja turtles#they were purely there to make the post show up for people who were specifically looking for something else#if you've ever done something similar‚ knock it off
