Coming your way! <333
Good News
Tumblr media
It was a grueling couple of months for Pablo. You made sure to be besides him through all of it and show your support.
Oftentimes you couldn't do much about the pain but after the long physicals you would cuddle him and play with his hair while he sleeps on your chest.
You also tried to talk to him through more depressive steps where he would watch his old videos with teammates and reminisce of the times he played for Barça.
"I want to go back amor ... I'm lost without them ... and so tired" one night he cried after a very intnse physical feeling his whole body trembling from how much pain he had to push through.
"I know, cariño ...and you will just rest now" you reassured him while he kept swiping through pictures enjoying your hands in his hair.
Today was a talk with his doctors who will give him an approximate return date and Pablo was so nervous about it. It was scheduled for ten in the morning but he was already up at five twisting and turning in bed until you woke up as well.
"Pablo, it's not even morning ...go back to bed cariño porfa" I said and he pulled you closer starting to kiss all over your face not letting you sleep.
"I can't sleep amor ... I'm so anxious!!!" he whined and you giggled opening your eyes and pulling him into a kiss.
"Want me to make some breakfast then?" you ask and he holds you tight not letting you move away from him.
"I want you here with me ... just tell me everything will be fine porfa" he said twirling a piece of your hair around his fingers.
"Of course everything will be fine cariño ... you're recovering nicely and I'm sure it won't be too long until you return to the pitch" you said and he smiled praying to God you were right.
"Thank you, princesa ... what would have I done without you?" he said and you giggled kissing him.
"You wouldn't have anyone to torture at five in the morning!" you said and you both laughed while enjoying your time in bed.
When it was time to leave, Pablo's dad noticed his son's nervousness as he opened his car door.
"Did he sleep at all?" he asked you and you smiled saying he was just a bit anxious but will be better after the meet. You sat besides him holding his hand the whole ride.
Once arrived at the camp, there was a crowd all yelling "good luck Gavi!" while he nodded holding your hand tightly and limping inside carefully. There all his friends waited and gave him a reassuring hug before we were invite into the office with the doctors.
"Let's not crowd the room" the doctor said and you offered staying out but Gavi wouldn't let go of your hand now really starting to panic.
"Can she come inside with me, doctor?" he asked adorably and the older man smiled nodding his head and letting us both in followed by his father.
"First, I want you to know these are good news so don't be nervous" he started and Pablo finally relaxed. The doctor explained that his recovery is moving better than expected and that he will be ready for preseason maybe even earlier.
"So I might play Euros too?" Pablo was already ready to jump back in but doctor told him that would be a cardinal mistake.
"Cariño, remember we need to be patient" you say touching his cheek and he nods still a little disappointed but knowing this was all a blessing.
'You just keep listening to your lovely lady, and you will be back in no time kid" his dad says and Pablo kissed the top of your head lovingly while you smiled with red cheeks.
"I couldn't of done it without her ..." he said and everyone smiled at the two of you while you rested your head on his shoulder thanking God for there good news <333

A teen!dad jess. He has a best friend from New York (she can have a name or it can be Y/N, you can choose) (they are endgame, jess never had feelings for Rory but she has feelings for Jess, it won't go anywhere) Jess and his best friend have a kid, they co-parent (whether they are dating already or in the future is up to you) Jess gets sent to Stars Hallow, she ends up moving to stars Hallow to, to be close to Jess and so their kid can be with him too (she is emancipated, plus Jess knows she's coming because they keep in contact) if anyone reading this would like to turn this into an actual story, I'm totally down for reading it :) if you choose this request, I look forward to reading it. Thank you!!

pairings — teen dad! jess mariano x y/n
warnings — none!! (unedited tho so…)
word count — 2.9k
a/n — i’m not the biggest fan of how this turned out (feels lowk out of character even tho i typically write jess best bc i am him), but i LOVEDDDD this plot. i plan on making a part two if that’s something you guys would want!! also dad! jess is my fav (as you guys know) so to have him be bowie’s dad??? FUCKING LOVEEE.
BEING SENT TO STARS HOLLOW was worse than one would imagine. especially for jess mariano, a kid who'd been taken from his hometown and placed in a small apartment above a diner with an uncle he hardly knows. this would be enough to drive one mad, one could presume. but to make matters worse, he was leaving behind his son.
the moment liz danes found out her sixteen year old son had gotten a girl pregnant, she freaked out. as any mother would do. but liz wasn't just any mother, she was (to put it lightly) a whack-job. so she spiraled when she figured this one out. what happened when liz danes spiraled you may ask? who was there for her? her sane big brother, luke.
the practical idea seemed to be sending jess to the quaint down of stars hollow. a place where liz grew up, where she knew luke would keep an eye on him. where she also knew he couldn't cause any havoc. and his world wouldn't become corrupt like hers, being a teen parent.
the months of the pregnancy was difficult to be away. y/n was just a girl he'd met at a party, he was sick and tired of his mother's new boyfriend's hurtful words. y/n was going through something similar and they decided they'd lean on one another one night. until three weeks later when she called jess asking him to coffee, and surprising him with something much more. y/n was scared, as any pregnant sixteen year old would be. being without jess didn't help her case.
the teenage boy didn't let the separation get to them however. his nights sneaking out were spent at a phone booth in the middle of town, talking to y/n about everything and anything. his breaks at the diner were calling to ask about doctors appointments. sure, she had just been a girl he'd met at a party. but the emotional bond of a baby knitted the two together. they were scared kids, they had no one but one another. so they became much more than kids who once went to a party. they were friends.
when y/n went into labor, jess ran out of school like his life depended on it. hoping into his car and speeding back to new york. luckily making it so he could see his son born just in time. his first time meeting his son was only his fourth time seeing y/n. the fourth of many, many visits. stars hollow became less and less entertaining to him as time went on. especially after coming back almost two weeks after his son was born. the pranks, the stealing, the teasing around with this girl rory... it wasn't anything to him. he missed his son, he missed the woman who had his son. jess mariano wanted to be with his family. because for the first time in his life, he had a family. someone loved him, and he loved someone.
"1984 is the most overrated 'classic' book i've ever read," rory gilmore smiled at jess with a teasing look. now, almost a year after his son's birth, jess mariano was nearing eighteen. his adolescence was coming to an end (although it did when the stick turned pink). the toying around was still very much in his nature. hence the conversation with the good girl in a pink sweater.
"nu uh, it's a classic. you can't just hate on 1984," jess counters while standing behind the diner's countertop. the diner was slow, despite it being around the early afternoon and a sunday. which is why two teenagers were sharing false opinions like it was bible. he didn't like her — he was sure of that. ever since bowie mariano was born (guess who named him), jess's feelings had become aware. the love he felt for his son was prominent in his everyday life. unlike anything he'd ever felt before. it was hard for him to even imagine ever having feelings for someone. not when being a dad was his number one priority.
"you're just saying that," rory laughed at his words once more. her late night talks with her mother about jess seeming to not be recalled. the ones where lorelai stressed to rory what jess was going through as a teen parent, something she knew all too well. especially being away from his kid. in her eyes, he was a christopher who'd left his rory. lorelai didn't exactly want her daughter involved with that. but it was hard to resist when he kept giving rory that james dean look. matched with the leather jacket and the book references.
"when are you going to see bowie?" lorelai asked the teenage boy, attempting to remind her daughter of his priorities. jess didn't see this as a question with ulterior motives. he knew lorelai had a deep understanding of him, whether she'd like to admit it or not. "soon, hopefully."
"is y/n liking her new place?" luke questions genuinely from lorelai's side, being reminded of jess's child's mother who he'd grown fond of. "it's kinda hard to like a place where you're crashing on your friend's sofa bed." jess scoffs, being reminded of his friend's condition. when y/n had first gotten pregnant, jess was aware of the darkness in her home. especially when she freaked out to him one night. the first time they opened up to one another. she was too scared to tell her dad about the baby, knowing he'd hurt her.
less than two years later, y/n was emancipated. working a part-time job in the city. where her friends helped watch bowie when necessary. along with (hesitantly) liz, whenever jess made sure she was sober and had an okay boyfriend. it was a lonely life: just like jess's.
"that poor girl," lorelai commented with a sympathetic look making jess's stomach twist. he hated thinking about the living conditions of his family, he hated thinking of being apart from them. but when he did, he couldn't stop. which is why that night, when luke came upstairs to the apartment after closing, jess stopped him to have a serious conversation. "can i talk to you?"
luke searched his nephew's face for sincerity once he heard those words. curious if this was gonna be a 'steely dan sucks' conversation or an actual serious one. a rare option for the teenage boy. "yeah, what's up?"
there was a deep expression anguished on jess's face as he sat at the table. he was clearly unsure how to put his words, which was prominent in his eyes. "i... i can't be away from bowie anymore. i can't let y/n live in that shithole. they're my responsibility."
luke heard his nephew's words clearly. he agreed with every word, a sigh erupting when he processed the stress his teenage nephew was experiencing over this. "where are you going with this, jess?" the diner owner questioned with a calm tone. he still wanted the best for his nephew. he still wanted him to finish high school and start a worthy life. one he didn't want to be started by running off to new york and working to provide for his family. "i need to be with them one way or another. i can't be away from bowie, i can't do that to my kid. i can't be my dad."
"you're not, kid. you're nothing like jimmy, i'm telling you that right now. you would do anything to be with bowie and that proves you're better than him," luke explained before letting out a sigh and nodding his head. "you're a good guy, jess."
a conversation continued throughout the night until the two finally came to a conclusion. or at least luke did. taking matters into his own hands, he picked up the phone once his nephew hit the pillow. a hushed tone rushing into verses of explanations until it all made sense.
the next morning, jess mariano woke up like any other day. not too long after he woke up he went down to the diner to get started on work. his thanksgiving break had begun, so his monday would be spent annotating a new book for his son in between rush hours. it was when two familiar faces entered the diner that he hardly glanced up, noticing the gilmores immediately. "hey jess, how's it going?"
"well, i'm not bleeding or anything so..." jess shrugged towards the woman while he scribbled in a final note for an older bowie. rory kept her eyes on him while luke handed the two mugs of coffee. he had something in his head, especially when he kept glancing out the window every few seconds. "that's good," lorelai nodded before turning to luke.
"what are you reading now? more jane austen?" rory teased while eyeing the boy and taking a sip of her warm coffee. his eyes didn't dare look up from her while he shut the book, "uh huh." he nodded with a thin lipped smile. rory noticed the children's book in his hands and grinned, "didn't know you were that behind. that makes sense with your book taste though."
"this is bowie's, i'm just writing some stuff in the margins for him for when he learns to read," jess shrugged without noticing the sudden change in demeanor when he mentioned his son. the baby had never been to stars hollow. jess also rarely brought up his son to anyone, especially stars hollow-ers. miss patty and babette already whispered about the rebellion enough as it was. he didn't need to add to it by opening up to people who didn't care about him. "oh... that's sweet," rory forced a smile before sinking down into her seat. she felt shorter.
jess picked up the coffee to begin to refill a few cups throughout the diner. his stance was interrupted once the diner phone began to ring, luke noticed this quickly. it wasn't long before he grabbed the coffee from jess's hand and hardly offered to do refills for him instead. jess knew luke was up to something but hesitantly took the phone call, "luke's."
"nice greeting," a voice echoed on the other side making jess's infamous smirk spread across his face. y/n. "well, i thought i'd ask you to marry me. but i was worried our meat supplier was on the other line," jess teased into the phone while his hand went in his pocket. he subconsciously turned around so his back was to the rest of the diner. wanting to be alone with y/n, as if that was possible through this.
"thought so," y/n hummed with an obvious smile. "hey, bowie's missing his dad."
"is bowie's mom also missing bowie's dad?" jess asked with his typical teasing tone towards his friend. "bowie's mom may be. but she doesn't exactly want to give him the satisfaction of that. bowie's dad is very cocky," y/n says through the phone while luke spots something through the window and smiles.
the sound of the bell was a familiar one. reminding the people in the diner that someone had arrived. jess was so used to it now that he didn't bat an eye typically, but this time he glanced around his shoulder for a moment. his eyes glancing back at the figure stood infront of the door. jess's brown eyes locked on them for a second as he dropped the wired phone and bolted past the counter to them.
stood before his eyes was y/n and bowie. the eleven month old was in her arms with a pacifier between his lips. y/n wore a smile while she placed her phone in her pocket with a free hand. she was engulfed in jess's scent immediately as he threw the two into his arms. cigarettes, cheap cologne, and coffee erupting comfortably into her. "hey, watch out i have a baby."
jess ignored her words, but lightened his grip on her while taking bowie out of her arms to hold him. "bowie, hey..." his voice trailed off as he held onto his son. he was interrupted with emotion by being with his son once again. because as much as fatherhood was something he never wished upon himself, ever desired whatsoever, it had turned into the best thing that ever happened to him.
"hi kid," luke greeted the teenage girl while walking over to give her a side hug. he turned his attention towards jess who was hugging his baby with a grin he hadn't seen in awhile. "i thought about our talk last night, jess. you were right."
jess glanced over at his uncle before looking back at y/n with a smile. which shocked even him, because a smile was not something he'd done while being in stars hollow. "so..." luke's voice trailed off while he gave the floor to y/n. who took it and looked at jess, "i think bowie needs to be with his dad... and his mom."
the group shared a few looks, mixed with confusion and happiness. "i asked lorelai for a favor, y/n and bowie are gonna stay at the inn for a few weeks. until you guys can figure out a place." luke started with a nod. "you're gonna be eighteen in a few months, you're gonna graduate in a few months. i want you to do that, jess. so, i brought you some courage... as cheesy as that sounds."
jess looked between the two for a moment before sharing a nod with his uncle, as if a thank you in their own language.
"hey, i'm lorelai. it's nice to meet you i've heard so much about you. we seem to have a lot in common," lorelai interjected as she walked over and introduced herself to y/n. y/n knew her fair share of scoop of the town. her daily phone calls to jess were hardly just baby talk. she'd spent a lot of them telling him to go out with lorelai's daughter, who seemed good for him. but every-time... something was holding him back. "yeah you too, i'm y/n. thank you for everything, by the way. you really didn't have to let me."
"c'mon we're moms, we help eachother out. we can be like desperate housewives. but with no men," lorelai smiled while giving y/n's hand a squeeze. "oh! this is my bowie, rory."
"hey," y/n greeted with an awkward wave towards the other teenage girl who still seemed in shock by the situation. she forced a smile and waved, "hey."
the dispute was a lot more awkward than y/n could have hoped. but a sense of envy had taken over the both of them as they reflected on past or current relations with jess. an awkwardness that washed away quickly when y/n’s eyes locked back on jess and her son. a favorite sight of hers.
“c’mon,” jess nodded towards y/n while she took the baby out of his arms. he grabbed her bag and placed a free hand on her back, mumbling goodbyes before exiting the diner with his two. the three took the scenic tour towards the inn. bowie cracking a million smiles at the tons of birds in sight. the two teenagers reciprocating the action with shared giggles at the baby’s happiness.
the moment they entered the room, jess sat down with bowie to let y/n unpack a little bit. while the two caught up on unspoken things. “so… that was rory,” y/n says suggestively while unpacking her toiletries in the bathroom. jess was sprawled out on the bed with bowie in his arms, playing superman. he turned to her once she erupted from the bathroom and took a seat beside him. “that was rory.”
“she’s pretty,” y/n nodded with a small smile. in an attempt to be polite about jess’s possible love interest, yet he seemed hardly interested when bowie was around. “i guess,” jess shrugged before holding bowie back up in his arms. “have you asked her out yet?”
“i’m not too focused on that,” jess answered while clearly wanting the conversation to be done. y/n only smiled at the sight of the baby, gently rubbing his back. jess’s eyes locked onto her once more. watching her look at bowie with all the love made his eyes gleam. the way her smile spread with love, only made his heart beat faster happily. “thanks.”
y/n glanced over to him at his word, furrowing her eyebrows gently while she looked into his eyes. “for what?”
“for being here, i guess.” he mumbles while turning back to face bowie and bring him closer to him, the baby resting his head on jess’s chest. y/n smiled at the sight while leaning into the pillow, happily watching the two. “of course.”
so, the two laid back into the bed. smiling at the sight of their baby falling into a comforting sleep. followed by y/n minutes later, at a moment of peace. finally having someone she trusted with her baby so she could peacefully have a break. jess shut his eyes to the sound of the light breaths of both his favorite people. never having felt something so perfect once again in his life.

from one admirer to another : top holiday in your opinion?
Tumblr media
pairing: leon kennedy x reader || masterpost: from one admirer to another
Tumblr media
synopsis: from one admirer to another, an online penpal service, allows for two people with common interests to write to each other without ever revealing their actual address! Luckily for both you and Leon, you get matched up! What do eggs and Christmas even have in common anyway? sure hope it's that modeling business and NOT that Ada Wong addiction.
Tumblr media
featuring: reader as scrambled eggs // leon as christmas
Tumblr media
Hi Christmas!
What an interesting name. I don't think many people on this service actually use something that creative. I, for one, just really enjoy having eggs so I'm called scrambled eggs. Though, sometimes the doctor tells me to go easy on them since the cholesterol in the yellows of eggs is HEINOUS for my blood tests. So, alas, I am coping through naming myself all things eggs.
I love Ada Wong. She's my beloved, and if I say I'm her second biggest fan, no one can say they're her first because I am her day ONE you hear me? DAY ONE. I AM HER DAY ONE— okay, I'm sure you're not convinced, but a person can dream. Come on. I've literally already read glhf <3 on ao3 so I'd say we're pretty neck to neck. Also, that fan event and the sticker? Thank you. Going into my phone case like right now.
As for her helicopter shoot, what Ada stan DOESN'T feel some way about it? I, for one, went manic when it came out. It was so bad I was begging for her signature on my magazine and yelled a little when she signed it. No, don't rob me. I live in an apartment with my friend and NO it's not an option to climb to the 17th floor.
History about me... I wonder? I don't do much. Well, a little bit like you, I model a little on the side as well, but only because I'm nepotism-ing my way into the industry through connections. I'm not interested in it as a full-time job, but it's kind of nice being on set and watching how it all goes down. Maybe I'll become a manager? But that's too much work. Honestly, I'd rather just be some weird form of sugar baby except not to an old man and to the people who are trying to get me into the industry. I'd love to just be their bestie who shows the bts of everything. That sounds FUN.
Hm, to speed-answer your questions, my favorite way of having eggs is actually in a nice cheesy omelet or an egg benedict, my favorite holiday (call me biased bc of my bsf) is the dragon boat festival only because those sticky rice zongzi are actually the chinese's greatest gift to man, and I write in my freetime (don't ask what. I know a degen when I see one, and YOU my friend, are no different from me).
Now, to ask you a couple of questions back. What's your favorite way to have eggs? Your fav holiday? Surely it's Christmas? All jokes, of course. How about some life updates? We can be like... besties, except not besties because we don't even know what the other person looks like and for all I know you could be some 60-year-old man who's faking everything through the letter. Just kidding! I'm not lying, so I'm sure you're not either.
I'm attaching a small Ada print I found on my table while digging for pens to write back to you. I hope you like it. I think it's signed by her? But I'm not sure. I think I had her sign two that time... or something. I don't remember.
hope to hear back ? scrambled eggs
Tumblr media
You finish the letter and sign, print slipped in as Ada steps out from the shower, towel around her neck as she raises a brow.
"Oh, is that the model penpal service?"
"Yeah." You seal the letter and write in the PO box, humming. "Did you ever use it?"
"No. I only know it because Wesker insisted that I know that the penpal service wasn't actually for finding friends, but getting to know who else in the company shares a passion for the same things. I have you, so I don't need to worry much."
"MARRY ME!" You sob, crying into your hands as Ada rolls her eyes.
"I'm your roommate. Also, that contract you signed as a small-time model prohibits dating."
"I said marry me, not date me." You raise a brow. "Also, I made them scrap that part since I wasn't planning on becoming famous. My contract has a lot more leeway compared to yours."
"I know." Ada sits at her vanity, plugging her hairdryer in as you step behind her, helping her out. "It's a shame you didn't want to become famous."
"There's no point in being famous unless it's for the money. What of that do I need to care about if you're legally obligated to provide for me?"
"Really sucks to be best friends with you." She rolls her eyes, pulling out her phone. "Did you update that chapter yet?"
"No, I was going to update it after your hair."
"What did you write about this time?"
"I'm not telling you because I gotta lock myself in my room when I post it."
"You didn't even ask me any questions this time around." She huffs.
"Mainly because I was gonna write angst again and you hate it when I do that."
"God, you're insufferable."
"Thanks, love you too."

Finished Star Trek: Prodigy season 2! Overall, I loved it, it was everything I hoped for, and then some. I love time travel paradoxes and alternate universes and that kind of stuff, so this season's story arc was right up my alley, and I think they did it just right. From story, to visuals, to character development, this whole season was just mindblowing the whole way through. The very ending leaves me trepidatious for the future, unfortunately, but I still very much want another season, and I want to celebrate what a monumental achievement season 2 is, both as thing unto itself, and as an epic expansion of what Star Trek can be.
Thoughts and analysis (with major spoilers!) below!
The biggest things for me this season were how Dal and Gwyn grew as characters, Janeway and Chakotay's relationship becoming even more of a central thing, and my boy Wesley Crusher returning as basically a Time Lord to help the Protostar kids save the timeline. As a Next Gen fan, I can't begin to describe how much it means to see Wesley again, and know that he's still out there, doing good in the universe, like I always knew he would. Beverly Crusher raised a good kid! As fans, we always joked about how Wesley Crusher is a Time Lord now, and now Prodigy said, yeah, he really is! That's what the Travellers do! They're literally like the Time Lords in Doctor Who, but with more hands on helping and fixing things, and I'm like yes, perfect!! I couldn't have asked for better, honestly, and Wil Wheaton does a terrific job as manic pixie Time Lord Wesley (there's no other way to describe him lol) without losing the essence of the Wesley we knew. After the horrible, hurtful disappointment of what they did with Picard and the rest of the Next Gen crew in the Picard series, seeing at least one of my first Trek crew getting the respectful treatment their character deserves means, so, so much to me, I can't even begin. My boy Wes! I love him!! (But dude- call your Mom ffs! Janeway is such a space mom herself for calling him on that. The scene at the end where Wes and Beverly hug was EVERYTHING to me. I cried. 30 years I have waited for that!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!)
Gwyn and Dal's character arcs this year were great too. Gwyn always had the commanding presence that said 'captain' to me, from the beginning. Much as I like Dal, I felt like it didn't make sense for him to be the captain, given his personality and experience, and it kind of seemed like they gave him that because the lead character always has to be a boy, by default, in any children's media that isn't explicitly aimed primarily at girls. But seeing how it shifted this season was really wonderful. How Gwyn stepped up to be a leader, and how Dal realized that being the right hand of someone you trust and respect is just as important a role as being the one in charge, was lovely, and paralleled the relationship between Janeway and Chakotay. Gwyn and Dal are kind of coming from opposite ends of the childhood trauma spectrum; Gwyn being forced to ignore her own judgement, and obey her father's commands without question; and Dal, being undervalued by his surrogate mother, being told and shown by her that he's unimportant and uneeded. The positions that they came to here, as a Captain and her Number One, and are the direct opposite of the roles their parents forced on them, and the exact places they need to be to overcome those negative beliefs and let their true natures shine through. It's so good!! And they actually talked to each other about their relationship! (or at least tried before they got interrupted.) That's honestly way more emotionally mature of them than almost any other romantic pairing in Trek! The kids are all right!! And I love that Gwyn is taller than Dal, and nobody cares. I can't think of the last time I saw a show where a girl being tall wasn't presented as a problem for her boyfriend to be insecure and crappy about it. Not making girls feel bad for being tall, and not making boys insecure about being short, is so important, especially in a show aimed at kids. Way to break down those gendered stereotypes!!
Janeway and Chakotay got so much to do this season, and I loved every minute of it. I love that Prodigy is basically a Voyager sequel. Janeway in the Captain's chair on a new Voyager is like, a dream come true, and seeing Voyager characters again is a special thrill for those of us who grew up with them and love them. (Ngl I was thrilled that my boy Tom Paris got namedropped twice! And so much yes to having him design the Nova Flyers!!! I've always headcanoned that Tom and B'Elanna stayed on Earth after Voyager and designed ships and warp engines and stuff at Starfleet HQ so they could give their kids a more stable childhood, and I'm beyond thrilled and thankful to have that somewhat canonized!!) I kinda wish it had been Tuvok rather than the Doctor along for this voyage, since he's Janeway's best friend, but the Andorian guy (Tysis? Why can't I remember his name??) does remind me of Tuvok a lot, so it might have been an odd vibe to have two similar characters. And anyway having the Doctor along did prove useful to the mission later on. (Though I don't know what it is, but the voice Robert Picardo uses for the Doctor on Prodigy is off, somehow- it's higher pitched, and the cadence is different. If I didn't know it was him, I'd think it was a different actor, and it's pretty distracting. But luckily the Doctor was mostly just there to be comic relief, and didn't have a ton of scenes.)
The character who surprised me the most here, though, was Chakotay. I like him a lot better on Prodigy than I ever did on Voyager. It's not even that I disliked him before, so much as that I feel the writing wasn't always there for him, and that they didn't really care to fully flesh him out and make his characterization consistent. His love for Janeway was one of the only things about him that was consistent, and they really highlighted that aspect here. I've never been much of a Janeway/Chakotay shipper, but I'm shipping it now. I know the die hard J/C shippers are probably livid that we didn't get a kiss or a direct acknowlegement of their feelings this season, and from the way it was going, I don't blame them, I expected it too. But I feel like Prodigy's writers aren't dumb enough to tease it so heavily without paying it off- I'd wager they're playing the long game and saving it for later, what with all the insanely shippy stuff going on between them here. The pda! The longing! That reunion scene! Heck, even Starfleet command knows they have a thing going on, and that Janeway can't be normal about Chakotay! Even the kids give them looks like they know there's something going on between them! The parallels between them and Dal and Gwyn, who already are a romantic couple, make it pretty obvious that Janeway and Chakotay are like a template for them to emulate. I didn't care one way or another about whether Janeway/Chakotay became a thing when this season started, but now I'm invested. They're in love, just admit it!
I love that they added Ma'jel to the Protostar gang, it's nice to have another girl to balance things more. And the fact that they named her after Majel Barrett hits me straight in the heart. So much love for the OG queen of Star Trek!!
I really appreciated Gwyn getting the chance to meet the younger version of her father, and get the chance to recieve some kindness and care from him, at last. I hope now that the timeline is different, she'll be able to have a better relationship with him at last. (I'm still not entirely sure how Gwyn can exist now that he's not going back to become the Diviner in the new timeline, but I think maybe it's some sort of alternate timeline/parallel universe stuff?? That's the one part of the timey wimey plot I was a little fuzzy on, but honestly the rest of it is so awesome that I don't even care that much.)
One of the few things that I disliked this season was Voyager A having a 'cetacean ops' tank on board. It was fine on Lower Decks because it's a comedy, so I don't take anything that happens there too seriously. (I just thought it was a SeaQuest joke, tbh.) But for a drama series, it really bothers me that Starfleet would take wild animals from their homes and plunk them on a starship. Even though they can communicate with the whales now, so we infer that the whale consented to be there, it seems incredibly unlikely that any wild creature would chose to live in a tiny tank away from their ecosystem and others of their kind. Animal captivity is not a cool thing to be promoting in this day and age, so I hope that will go away, and we won't have to see any more of that.
The biggest problem I had with this season though, was all of the references to stuff from Picard at the very end. Worse still than animal captivity was Picard's horrible storyline about using slaves to build Starfleet ships. It's like the writers on that show had never seen an episode of Star Trek in their lives, and had no idea what it's even about. They literally referenced the Next Gen episode 'The Measure of a Man', so they must have seen it, and yet they totally ignored it's message that androids aren't property, and it's assertion that creating an army of android slaves would abominable, and against everything the Federation stands for. The whole point of that episode was that they established the legal precedent to prevent that. To turn around and have that happen is a huge betrayal of the optimistic spirit of the show, and a shows a deep misunderstanding of all of the characters. You cannot sit there and tell me that any of the characters we know would sit idly by and let the Federation institute slavery. You can't convince me that they would just go on with their lives like everything was fine while that was happening around them. You can't tell me Starfleet wouldn't have a wave of resignations in mass protest, that there wouldn't have been protests all over Earth to stop it. Just casually dropping something as horrific as 'oh, our android slaves rebelled and blew up the fleet we forced them to build for us' in the middle of a show aimed at children is deeply disturbing, and deeply wrong- allowing slavery in the Federation negates everything it is, and demolishes Star Trek as a beacon of hope for the future.
I'm very worried for Prodigy's future if it's going to take place in that awful reality, for which there is absolutely no excuse or explanation that can be had to justify it. I'm absolutely horrified to think that it might become the status quo that we're just supposed to accept, but conversely, if they don't gloss over it, if they look at it head on, in all it's horror, there's no way to deny that everything that Starfleet and the Federation stand for is a lie. There's just no good way forward with it, I fear. If the Protostar gang were to find out that someone was messing with the timeline to create that reality in the first place, and that they had to go back to stop it from happening, and erase that timeline from existence, then I could be okay with it, but I doubt they'd do another time paradox plot so soon. I'm just afraid that I won't be able to love Prodigy anymore either, because it will have let me down, just like Picard did.
I desperately hope this season wasn't Prodigy's pinnacle, and that it will continue to believe in hope and kindness and the possibility of a better future, and to fight against the cruelty and cynicism that Picard's writers poisoned the Star Trek universe with. I care about these characters, and this world, and I want to see more of them. I would love a third season, but only if it lives up to Star Trek's ideals of love and equality and compassion. Prodigy has been such a bright spot for me, I've come to love this new crew, and being able to see my beloved Voyager crew members still out there being heroic, and being happy. I hope it can continue to be that bright spot. Based on what wonderful things I've seen overall in these first two seasons, I'm going to choose to have faith that it will.
Here's hoping we get a season 3 that's just as amazing!

I wanna start doing lists/rankings. I doubt anyone will wanna see them, but it's for me, so that's fine.
If anyone does wanna see. Some might have spoilers (like this one), so look out for that.
Anywhoo...
MY TOP 10 FAVORITE STRAWHATS
10 Sanji. I don't hate Sanji per se, as whenever he's not being weird around women, I actually like him. The problem is when he's around women. I don't like it. Stop it. Stahp. That being said at least he's cool when he's not around women and his genuine relationships with his crew and Zeff make me happy. I love his rivalry with Zoro
9. Usopp. Oh boy. I HATED him as a kid. I'm still not the biggest fan of him now, either. But he's... fine, and at least he gets better as the show progresses. He does get braver and less cowardly. But I still hate how much of a wuss and braggart he is. Also... his luck annoys me at times, but at least it comes in handy
8. Chopper. He was once one of my favorite straw hats, but as I got older, his naivity and gullibility started irking me. His "We need a doctor " joke was never funny to me either. He's still AWESOME. Don't get me wrong, all the straw hats are. I know my complaints about Usopp and Sanji may make anyone think i think otherwise, but i do geniounly like all the straw hats as characters. But those irks about Chopper are why he's so low. That being said, he's still a great character, and I love how compassionate he is about being a doctor. He's also adorable. I want to hug him.
7. Luffy. He's awesome! I just like the others more, sorry Luffy...I truly hate to put you this low. He's everything I love in an anime protagonist. Stubborn, brave, determined to protect those he loves. He can be smart when he needs to be and is so dang cool. Luffy is one of the best anime protagonists of all time, and I can't wait for him to be king.
6. Zoro. I love that he's not just a badass. He's also kinda dumb, and it makes him more endearing. But he's also still badass and super loyal. Amazing character, feck yeah. His directions gag is pretty funny, too. I also love the idea of three sword styles, and he actually makes it super cool.
5. Franky. Reverse chopper, he used to be one of my least favorites. But my God is he so FUNNY. He is easily the funniest character, in my opinion. He's also super epic, and I love his take on masculinity and how sensitive he is. I will say, tho...not a big fan of his redesign. I also love that he refuses to wear pants. Overall, great character.
4. Nami. She is so awesome. From day one, she was epic and I love that for the most part, she isn't a Damsel in distress. Her take on Fishmen despite what happened to her makes me respect the hell out of her. She's so strong and brave and even kind. She may be greedy, but it makes a lot of sense. Easily one of the best characters.
3. Brook. Look...I may not like his panty thing, but at least it's over fast and isn't as cringy as Sanji's thing. That being said... I admit I'm biased. I tend to like skeleton characters because I think they're cool. And well...Brook is no exception. He's a gentleman, a musician, and has skull jokes! There's so much to like about him!
2. Robin. She's my 2nd favorite character in the whole show. She's so intelligent and mysterious and super freaking cool! I love how she slowly starts to trust the straw hats and build bonds with them. Her character arc is my favorite in the entire show. I cannot stress how much I ADORE her. Amazing character. I will fight anyone on this.
1. Jinbe. Best character in the show, but it's close between him and Robin. Again,... some bias, as I think he's attractive. But I genuinely like him as a character, too. Fishmen are my favorite species in one piece, and I tend to like tackles of racism in media as a species. I liked this about the faunus in RWBY, too. Jinbe is a badass. He's funny and oh so huggable. Oh, and I love how he acts like a gentleman. So polite and well spoken. He's just...so damn cool, too. Love him. I love him so much
TIER LIST TIME
C Tier, lowest to highest: Sanji, Usopp, Chopper
B Tier: Luffy, Zoro, Franky
A Tier: Nami, Brook
S Tier: Robin, Jinbe

Lovely Jane Asher, Peter Asher and Alan Freeman at home during an interview. March 27th, 1964. From Getty images and 1960s Music website for the article in high quality.
ALAN FREEMAN
(The stars confide in him )
HEART TO HEART with the most envied girl in the world.
HOW PAUL HAS CHANGED JANES LIFE.
Every evening after school is out, two young girls stand for hours on the corner of London’s fashionable Wimpole Street. One is tall, the other tiny. Many an evening on my way home from the BBC I've noticed them and wondered: Who are they? What are they waiting for? Over the weekend I found myself keeping the same vigil—this time at my own front door. For it was then I discovered I was waiting for the same people as those young fans. If you're still guessing, pop-pickers, the answer is ... Jane Asher and her brother Peter. Jane's an actress, not a singer, but she's one of the most important trendsetters in and around the world of pop. Pin-sharp grey suit . . .beacon-bright red hair. . . cheeky freckles . . . a cool kooky sense of humour. That's Jane.
Those kids on the corner spend their time hoping for a glimpse of Jane with her steady swain, Beatle Paul McCartney, and Peter.
Helping: The Asher twosome are a rarity in our business. A brother and sister with different careers but helping each other to stardom. The coffee was already perking as they came through the door. But Jane smilingly shook her head at my cream cakes. Not that I blame her— that figure of hers is worth watching. Shrewd commonsense is typical of Jane and Peter Asher. Their father is a doctor, their mother а musician. Neither of them has been carried away by their success in show business. "Jane's always been interested in music,' Peter said.
"She plays flute and guitar. So we can both help and criticise each other in a friendly way." Peter, at 20, is two years older than Jane. He has the same flaming red hair, but his quiet manner contrasts with her bouncy enthusiasm. Peter and Gordon (that's Gordon Waller, his school chum and partner) took over the Beatles’ No. 1 chart-spot with that first disc.  But what few fans know is that after making that record Peter was faced with the toughest choice of his life— sticking to show business or going back to his studies at London University.
Proudly: "His brain is much better than average," Jane said, looking proudly at him across her coffee-cup. "Oh, come on," her brother grinned. "Honestly, though, it's a drag when people come up to you and say, ‘Aren’t you wasting your education playing pop?’ "This life is part of my education. Okay, I was studying for a degree in philosophy. It sounds horribly crummy if I say university has helped me to think-but I'm not sure it's much good to me when I'm playing one-night stands." Peter and Jane were luckier than most. They avoided the usual drawing-room showdown with father and mother when they announced they were going to be entertainers. "Dad would have liked us both to be doctors," Jane said. "But he didn't mind when we didn't take it up. Mother is a composer and she teaches as well. "She feels the pop life is a bit funny. But she gets annoyed when some of her pupils go snobby and think they’re very hip by saying pop is terrible”. Peter nodded. "Jazz knocks her out with its technical proficiency, particularly when I introduce her to Bob Cooper and things like that.” At learned Westminster School, however, the biggest obstacle in the path of Peter and Gordon was a big iron gate. Gordon was a boarder, Peter a day student. The afternoon was getting muggy, so I got. up and put some cool music on the hi-fi. Jane closed her eyes and relaxed while Peter told me another of the ironies which seem to crop up in his life.
Singing: "Well," said Peter, "we started singing and playing guitar together. At that time Gordon was a big Elvis devotee. He sang like him and even looked like him. "We used to play at concerts in school. We even went in for the chamber music competition once with a Shadows-type group." But life outside beckoned with a glitter. There was money to be made—if only Gordon could get out at night. Kerb-crawling like a Chicago gangster, Peter would drive up to the school gate at ten o'clock every night and Gordon would climb over. "Gordon used to be pretty bushed after working all night and often it was quite a climb for him. One night he hurt his foot badly on one of the iron spikes and we had to pack it in for a bit." Then they landed a stint at a favourite rendezvous of London showbiz folk, the Pickwick Club. "We'd just left school and we were very nervous," Peter said. "We were twanging away when we noticed there was this man who wasn't just hearing us. He was actually listening to us. “We said he must be somebody important because he was so shiny. He had this marvellous shining suit and he looked very big-time. So we played all the good songs we knew, and he bought us a drink and asked if we'd made a record." The shining man was Norman Newell, maker of myriad disc hits by Shirley Bassey, Danny Williams, Alma Cogan and Matt Monro. “A week later we made a test record. We sang two or three folksongs. He said, 'Great—very good sound’.  And there and then he gave us a five-year contract." The hi-fi slid to a stop and Jane opened her eyes. "Mmm," she murmured, stretching luxuriously. "It's nice to have a day off, Alan.”
Praise: I knew how she felt. Take it from me, pop-pickers, the atmosphere of a recording studio is like an ice-cream parlour compared with the heat and hammering of a film set. And Jane had plenty of that while she was making "The Masque Of The Red Death," which brought her such praise from critics in the States. She was tickled to hear that I'd just finished a film part myself in “Doctor Terror’s house of horrors”. There are no records or microphones or white shirts or washing machines or disc-jockeys. I had a ball. But for Jane, the cinema and the theatre are not just a breakaway, as they are for me. For her, they’re her whole life. "I've never been really satisfied with anything I've done," she said. "I don't think anybody should be. "We've been acting on and off since I was five and Peter was seven. We did six or seven 'Robin Hood' episodes on television together, and in 1956 Peter was one of the boy actors of the year." I asked Jane her great ambitions. "In the theatre," she said, “to play Shakespeare. I was offered two years at Stratford but it would have meant leaving so many things that mattered to me-friends ... and everything." She didn't go deeper, but I'm sure I know what she meant. "My life is not in pop but I'm constantly surrounded by it," she said. "For one thing, people always want me to make a record. "I'd only make one if I were an outstanding singer, really remarkable. But since I'm not, I don't want to do it. "If I did, and the record did get anywhere, people would say it was only because I was Peter's sister. Or because .. She didn't finish it. She didn't have to. "What do you want for yourself, personally ?" I asked.
Marriage: "The same as every other single girl, Alan. To eventually get married and have children. Nothing unusual." Jane is very proud of her progress with classical guitar, but she blushed when Peter said with brotherly bluntness: "She's just like me. You don’t practise enough, do you?’  The Beatles have a great German buddy-Klaus whom they met in Hamburg. He lives over here now, and boy! can he handle the old strings. “Have you heard Klaus play?” I said. "Oh, I think he's absolutely terrific," she said. "Except ...?" "Except what?" I goaded. "Except he won't practise enough. I met him the other night and Klaus told me so himself. Never mind, I'll keep at it. Maybe one day I'll get into the Top Ten with my guitar. "But it certainly won't be as a singer. Or because I spend my time with successful people." She winked affectionately at Peter.
Sunshine: I glanced out at the roof garden. The sun was coming out again. I put a new disc on the hi-fi... Alan Deane and his Problems. Peter listened carefully, head on one side. One day, if he gives up starring and turns recording boss for other performers, I bet we'll get some pretty striking sounds. Peter’s a perfectionist. The Problems didn't quite measure up to his demands. "They're not getting quite the right effect with that harmonica. "Instead of getting lovely bent, muddy sounds they're using a chromatic-one of those with the plunger on. The way I'd do it ..." and he launched into a brilliant technical analysis of the disc. To the many guitarists among you, pop-pickers, here's a Beatles tip I picked up from Peter. "A lot of people think you need all this Futurama equipment on a guitar to get these great twangy effects at the end of a number. "You can get it by just pressing down the string with practically anything metal. It gives a marvellous gee-doinnngg! "In fact, one of the best notes the Beatles ever played in a record, they got by using a cigarette lighter on the strings. It was the handiest bit of steel they could find at the time." Jane looked at her watch— a flat, thin, man's model on a wide strap. This is still a very chic fashion in The Village, as the Asher's home territory of Marylebone is called. "I'm sorry, Alan. We ve got to be going. It's been great talking."
Waiting: On the way down I asked Peter and Jane about those two kids who stand waiting near their house. Peter blanched. "Them? I don't understand them at all. Sometimes we've been doing shows out of town and I'd notice them in the audience. "We'd leave at the end and drive home directly. And they'd be there at the house before us. I don’t know how they do it”.  As they waved goodbye from their car window I recalled one of the nicest things Peter had said during the whole afternoon. "What the Beatles have done for pop music is mainly by being such interesting people and being themselves." I felt exactly that about Peter and Jane Asher.

Snowy Night: Timeless Love Ep 1-2 First Impression
(Contains spoilers, obviously. And I might rant, consider yourself warned)
Ep 1
I like the opening theme instrumental, very soft and soothing
Miss Li Qin you really like that shoulder hunch thing don't you? It gives you 👻 vibes, it doesn't help you are actually literally dressed like a ghost
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Even though I was having a complaint right away the following aesthetics are nice.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh wow a (literally) fridged character! Cdramaland this year really loves their fridging!
I'm afraid what's with the snow setup of this show and the complimentary heavy cloaks, Li Qin is gonna do a LOT of ghosting (literal)
Tumblr media
Xiao Xi is here and once again serving my favorite "light has left his eyes" look as always! I hope he gets a lot of betrayal and mortal injury and torture and piggyback and pregnant scenes once again! 😌
Tumblr media
Not the biggest fan of the side character costumes
Tumblr media
Ayo is he finally losing the baby fat in his cheeks 🥺
Tumblr media
No point, he's the one who still gets the most kid treatment in the show🤣Baby fat or not
Tumblr media
Um I was looking forward to this show for a long time because it seemed like a huge portion of photography took place in complete snowland but looks like that exact thing turned out to be its weakness. The CGI is awkward. You can see exactly which scenes took place within a greenscreen set because the background blending is not done seamlessly enough. All the money has gone to keeping the cast and crew warm in the snow scenes from the looks of it 🥲
BUT it's not all unenjoyable! Look, the FL is having an all-girls harem! 😍
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Damn girls. aren't you difficult to satisfy…. can't let her rest even one night? 🤭
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ohh look fresh meat arrived on her doorstep 🤭
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh yeah? 😏
Tumblr media Tumblr media
HAHAHAHAHAHA
Tumblr media
Brother really nearly offered his virginity in exchange for her help
The harem is like "Jiejie do we kiss/fuck/kill him"
Tumblr media
At first I thought this was her wall of Girl-of-the-Night's name tags, too bad it's just a collection of lifesaving coupons lol
Tumblr media
Ep 1 conclusion is that even though it fell a bit behind my expectations but it isnt bad, has potential if they want to work on it After all it took CQL 10 eps to get on the tracks!
Ep 2
Those are the longest ass nails I've seen on a doctor
Tumblr media
Titanic much?
Tumblr media
Yeah ok the costumes aren't costuming in this show except for the fur coat game. Please keep all of them covered in cloaks all the time I beg you
Tumblr media
I mean at this point it's not just an aesthetic need but a practical one too because this drama's second name is frostbite.
Tumblr media
So he walks all over her property even after being warned to not to AND offer her unsolicited advice about being safe in the woods alone as a girl. Dude she's been LIVING here, WHILE keeping a bunch of other girls safe too. Know your limits.
Why are they getting thrown into unnecessary forced sugar moments, please work on establishing your characters first so the audience can care for them before trying to create chemistry out of nothing, show.
Doctor lady wasn't transparent about the procedure she was going to conduct on the kid, and blames it on the kids' guardians that it was to prevent the guardians' emotions besting them. Like??? Sure they broke your rules but you aren't also completely at the right here, you told them nothing because you were overconfident and haughty is what. "Short time hurt is better than Long time hurt" wtf
And of COURSE they end up dual cultivating under a lake. It's like this show is in such a rush to simply check off all the hot tropes in their list one after the other, with little substance to back them up.
Tumblr media
Ep 2 conclusion is that I hadn't facepalmed nonstop in a single episode this much in a long time, I guess this show is not for me. I mean if it's not serving neither a good plot nor solid characters and not even the hyped and promised aesthetics then what am I here for? Sorry, Zeng Shunxi. I've loved almost EVERYTHING you've been in but looks like this one is an exception .

This is the first time I'm gonna get in on reviewing the new Helluva boss episode because this was the one I was most excited for! But before I do that, I'm saying it now:
I saw a lot of negative reviews were focused around the Ozzie texts between Stolas and Blitzo and well...I'm sorry guys but my main focus is on THIS MAN RIGHT HERE
Tumblr media
So without further a dooooooooo...
I honestly enjoyed Striker in this episode! I love seeing a wackier side of him and not just edgy edge lord, low voice, "I'm gonna eat your kids" through the whole episode. I understand why some people were super disappointed in him not being as threatening as he was in the first episode, but hey. This is a cartoon about dumb demons and sex, I try not to take it too seriously already! (๑•﹏•)
(I also wanna say this now, I was also one of the people taken back by the change in voice actors, but I ain't even gonna let that bother me too much: I know folks like Norman are gonna be mighty expensive or too busy to keep around. As sad as it is, if I can get used to Stolas new voice, I can do the same for this one as long as it means more Strike!)
Speaking of Striker, the main criticism I keep seeing is that he was too egotistical, and because of that statue everyone is just saying he was another Chaz. But I honestly don't get this one?
Striker was ALWAYS just as entitled and self centered in the first episode: Did we forget this man literally made a song all about how awesome he is (That didn't even rhyme) And his speech to Blitz where he talked about how he was above the imps? The statue seems pretty in character for him! Striker has always sucked his own dick, maybe it was a little overzealous but definitely not enough for me to say he was just a full blown Chaz!
Tumblr media
Plus, that man still took his job pretty damn serious! Never once was Striker incompetent or a dumbass in this episode. He knew his mission and he was damn malicious about, I mean if you gonna try to tell me this man wasn't just as bloodthirsty as he was last time-
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This man has never once hesitated to hurt anyone who gets in his way or just for the fun of it and I think it still shows greatly here!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
All and all, I have to disagree with everyone saying his character was "ruined" or "too Chaz like" Striker definitely did not spend the episode going on and on about how his dick is the biggest or how everyone wants to fuck him like Chaz would. (R.i.p Chaz, I love you sweetie!) As left field as the statue was, it definitely didn't steal from the fact that this man was once again determined to finish his job. Which got taken away from him by Stella at the last minute, which he was super bummed about, but he does get paid extra soooo! 🎉🎉🎉
(Full disclaimer: I didn't really care for the Stella part of the episode, I do like the voice actor for snowy owl though. But overall they really were just there...it's really hard to say anything about it other than the fact that she didn't want Stolas killed sooooo (@_@;))
Now for the big stuff: The pacing.
I have to say...I do have to agree with everyone when they say the pacing was all over the place. I have to admit: With all the trailers that we were getting, I was expecting this bad boy to be long as hell! At least a good 25 to 30 minutes because we were getting all kinds of things! But man...
Even though the little vet visit was funny, and I am a huge fan of that cute lil goat doctor, it did take away from the actual tension. I came here for badass Striker! And not to mention M&M barely got time to shine as well! The pacing really was just:
BOOM! STRIKER KIDNAPPED STOLAS--
Loona scared of vet 🥺
BAM! MOXXIE AND MILLIE ARE GONNA TAKE ON STRIKER BY THEMSELVES, OOOOOO POWER COUPLE--
Blitz and Karen yell at each other 🤬
RAAAAAH, STRIKER STABBY STOLAS, MILLIE AND MOXXIE CRASH THROUGH ROOF THOUGH, IT'S TIME FOR THE MOST EPIC FIGHT--
Loona got her shot 😊
I feel like we totally got robbed on a much more epic fight and some shades thrown from M&M and Striker, especially when it was a highlight of the trailer! These two being able to properly settle a score with Striker would have really made for such an amazing tension scene since they were the main ones who were affected by him in the first episode. LIKE GUYS, LET MOX AND MILL SHINE WHEN BLITZO ISN'T AROUND, I BEG YOU! THEY'RE AMAZING TOO!! 😭
I will stand by everyone when they say: WE NEED MORE MILLIE DAMNIT!
The ending with Stolas definitely tugged at my heart strings, I won't lie! But again, I'm not here for the Stolitz angst, I was just here to see Strikey boy. WHO DIDN'T DIE, SO YES! TAKE THAT TWITTER!!! MY BOY GETS TO HUNT ANOTHER DAY, AND NOT ONCE DID HE GET HIT BY A TRAIN, IN FACT HE APPARENTLY LOVES THEM SO HA!!
Tumblr media
All and all, I will say Harvest moon was peek Striker. It's gonna be hard to ever top that, Norman Striker will forever be missed! But at the end of the day, I did enjoy seeing my favorite cowboy again, and there's apparently some more lore behind him as well that we'll hopefully get to see in the later seasons. I'm just glad I can easily sleep tonight knowing that he wasn't just killed off in the second episode we get him in! 🙏
So it was a good time all around! Especially watching it with my favorite person 💕

Alrighty, let's go with "🍦 ⇢ name three good things about a character you hate" then, and also "🕯️ ⇢ on a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you enjoy editing? why is that?" because that was a really interesting ask! And, to round it out: 🍄 ⇢ share a head canon for one of your favourite ships or pairings
YESSSSS these are good ones! Thank you so much!!
(from the Writers Truth & Dare Ask Game)
I have pictures for the good things about a character I hate, so I'm going to save the Show & Tell for the end. I don't want my other answers to get lost in the crowd :P
▪ On a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you enjoy editing? Why is that?
I LOVE EDITING!!! These days at least. I never really hated it in the past... but I also rarely got far enough in the writing process to reach the editing stage 😬
Because see, I used to try and combine the drafting and editing processes into one. It's taken me FAR TOO LONG to finally grasp that writing is done through layers. You can't write third draft content and quality the first time around. You just can't! And understanding the layers and having a full year (plus) under my belt of witnessing the editing process in motion has really made me fall in love with it.
And on the flip side, it's also made me love drafting more! Or at the very least made it less stressful for me because I don't have to worry about missing information or wording or capturing the emotions accurately. I can just dump the information from my brain and spend the next two weeks cleaning it up. It's great! 10/10 big fan of editing! 😄
▪ Share a headcanon for one of your favorite ships or pairings
Hmmmm......... I'm trying desperately to think of headcanons for my past ships that Tumblr cares about, but it's only Lucifer in my head right now.
My Warehouse 13 opinions and feelings haven't changed in the last decade which means my headcanons haven't either. This is a problem if I was ever going to go back and write canon fix-its like I did with Doctor Who because I still don't know how to solve the puzzle of Helena. What do we do with her after the S3 finale? What's the long-term plan for her? I can see Regent for her, like many have suggested, but that's never been my favorite option. A field agent again? Maybe, but can she ever really heal still working for the warehouse in that capacity? I'm not sure. But we can't remove her from the warehouse altogether (at least if you're a Bering and Wells shipper) because Myka's not leaving ever. She's going to take over as head agent one day when Artie (very reluctantly but also a little proudly) becomes the first agent -- possibly ever! -- to retire from the warehouse alive.
So then what do we do with Helena????
I still don't have an answer to that. The best one I have is the same one I thought of ten years ago which is to make HG the resident inventor eccentric who only goes out into the field when she's absolutely needed. Think Claudia in S1, except staying in is by choice and not mandated by Artie for being too young and inexperienced.
But I also really like HG mentoring kids. As much as Instinct otherwise sucks, I did really, really love her with Adelaide so idk what future fits her best ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
.
AND NOW FOR THE SHOW AND TELL!!!!!! Which is 100% about the TV show Lucifer and I won't apologize for that because no other show has a character I hate more.
▪ Three Good Things about Cain from Lucifer (TV) Despite Me Hating His Guts
First of all, who is Cain from Lucifer (TV)?
Tumblr media
IT'S THIS BITCH RIGHT HERE!!! And no I don't hate his guts because he's the villain of S3. I HATE HIM BECAUSE HE'S BORING AS THE VILLAIN! Like yeah yeah yeah, the guy invented murder. BUT HIS BIGGEST CRIME IS BEING BORING!!!!
He also canonically dated (and was even engaged to) Chloe for all of four episodes total (maybe?) and it was PURE TORTUROUS HELL, but I attribute that crime to the writers more than Cain. IDEK what the fuck they were trying to do with that storyline but I want to fight them in a Denny's parking lot over it. With knives.
And now that we've established why I hate him so much, here's some good things about Cain.
1. He has a rock collection
Tumblr media
I am not being snarky in the slightest when I say that I absolutely ADORE that he canonically has a giant ass rock collection. And when I say giant ass rock collection, I do not mean that piddly sample you can see in the screencap above. I mean, every flat surface in his house is covered in rocks. You walk into his kitchen? His counters are probably rocks. They're everywhere! But they're also nicely displayed??? He has stands for some of them to better show them off! He probably has a whole system surrounding which rocks get grouped together. And given how much he moves around since he's a cursed immortal being, he has to pack all of these fucking rocks up, move to the new place, and then re-set them all up again. THAT'S HYSTERICAL TO ME! What a fucking fixation to give him! They should've fully committed and leaned into this bit instead of just barely slipping it into this one episode.
Also 1000% fact, the rock he used to kill his brother is in that collection somewhere. I don't know which one it is or where he keeps it. But it is DEFINITELY there!
Anyway Cain's rock collection: 12/10 A++ no criticism from me XD
2. This Caincore tumblr post
Tumblr media
I just reblogged it yesterday too. LOOK! Does it have anything to do with the tv show Lucifer? Technically, no. Is it hilarious though? Absolutely yes! Also it says Cain's name so that makes it the second best thing about Cain 😜 😂
And finally....
3. He has the hottest mother in the history of humanity
Tumblr media
EVE!!!!!!! 😍 My beloved!! 😍 Definitely hands down one of the best things I can say about Cain? HIS MOTHER IS GORGEOUS!! *swoons*
Her son can't do anything right, but Eve? Oh Eve can do no wrong 💜💜💜 (Yes, that includes dating Lucifer and then accidentally-definitely-on-purpose starting a demon mutiny when he dumps her. LET MY GIRL HAVE FEELINGS OKAY! Geez!)
And that's all three good things I can say about Cain in the TV show Lucifer. The only other thing I could possibly say is he's dead, but I'm not sure that's in the spirit of the question LOL

with tlou hbo I definitely think the FEDRA/military softening is pretty weird, it's gone way beyond just fleshing them out imo. there are so many things that have stacked up throughout the series; removing FEDRA killing Tess, the Jakarta cold open having the doctor be the one to suggest the bombing to the horror of the military people, this ep's stuff, etc. it does make me worry about how the ending is going to be framed if they lean too hard into 'well the Fireflies are just as bad!!'
Yeah, it's my biggest outstanding concern/qualm with this adaptation. I'd even forgotten some of those elements, like Tess' death, but it also reminded me of the suggestion that the bombing technique worked in some areas which ? ... The round-up-civilians-and-kill-them thing is brand new to the show too which makes it even weirder to introduce while also doing this other stuff. You can flesh out/add moral complexity to so many parts of this universe but I don't feel we needed to do that for fuckin FEDRA lol. Even the infected kid in ep 1 - why would FEDRA waste time/resources bringing that kid into the QZ to test them? Game FEDRA would've sniped the kid for walking suspiciously lol.
Meanwhile you've got stuff like the Fireflies posting a sixteen-year-old alone in a mall they didn't clear properly (apparently), Marlene is an unknown entity and doesn't seem trusted by Ellie the way she is in the game, they skipped the doctor's recordings in the university in lieu of just pins on a map, etc.
I recently rewatched the game's opening credits sequence (which I love, btw, and I'm kind of sad we didn't get an equivalent in the show -- always gives me chills!) and the bits in there about the military coup and the Fireflies' "public charter calling for a return of all branches of government"... Again they're not above reproach, but compared to FEDRA???? ??? ?
The one thing I can imagine that would really sour this adaptation for me is the ending. I'll use a cut bc game spoilers
If the show frames it as/implies Joel was correct and justified in doing what he did and/or that he did it for any reason beyond his personal attachment to Ellie I will be, uh, severely disappointed in an otherwise so far well done adaptation. It needs to be choosing Ellie over the betterment of the world/future. Joel's choice being both entirely understandable on a human level and deeply, hideously selfish is, like, the entire reason the game has any meaning. I think the fans who have spent the past decade trying to spin it as a heroic selfless action, Joel was worried about vaccine distribution concerns or the science of it or Ellie's agency (LMFAO) or ... literally anything beyond *Joel does not want to lose Ellie*... have been watering down both him as a character and the story as a whole. Would hate to see the show do the same.

♛ Spotted on the Upper East Side…
Name: Scottie Takeda Pronouns: He/Him Age: 25 years old Hometown: London, UK Occupation: Actor, currently starring on 'Friday Night Bites' Social Status: Insider Faceclaim: Darren Barnet
Who Is Scottie?
“You'd leave me dead if it'd set you apart, and I'm like, oh, goddamn, not another rockstar."
Will I wait for the screams of your adoring fans to quieten down before I continue? Then again, I might be waiting all day. You, Scottie Takeda, need no introduction. With parents like yours, we all should have known that you'd shine in front of the camera. You've always loved to be the center of attention, doing anything to stand under the spotlight. You've always been charming, intelligent and cut throat. You knew how to work a room before you knew how to talk. Making the right connections, dating (or at least being photographed with-) the right people and maintaining your follower count, takes up most of your time. Now that you're thriving on FNB, I hope I see more of you on the Upper East Side. XOXO ---Gossip Girl
A Little Extra
Scottie Takeda was born under a thousand flashing cameras, already a national treasure. When his parents were married, it was the biggest news story of the year (second only to their divorce). Scottie was destined for great things and boy, did he know it. With two iconic actors for parents, Scottie's career was pretty much mapped out before they were born. He took every opportunity he could, picking up small roles in his parents' movies, standing toe to with the best of them even then. Scottie loved acting first but once he found 'fame', everything changed. While Scottie had always been confident, cocky and shallow, being actively famous only nurtured the worst in him. Very few people will ever get to glimpse the good in Scottie. He doesn't want the expectations the real life 'hero' gets, you know? Of course, Scottie would never act badly in front of the camera. He'd never get caught throwing a tantrum on set. Scottie can be demanding, dramatic and kind of an asshole but never unprofessional. It's just important to Scottie that people know he's the star! Scottie is very good with his fans, making public appearances, interviews and getting photographed in all the right places. He's usually the one starting rumours about himself. Scottie stays on top of everything about his public image. After all, he learned from the best. After a three episode arc on 'Doctor Who' filmed back in the UK and a one season fantasy TV show 'flop' on Netflix, Scottie was cast on "Friday Night Bites". Since joining the cast, Scottie's career has taken off further. He knows his name is bringing a lot of attention. It's a good cast though, Scottie just needs to make sure that in a room of big egos, his is the biggest.
What Does Gossip Girl Have On Them?
People don't get to know things about Scottie that Scottie doesn't want them to know. Gossip Girl is just more press, right?
Connections
Laurel Xu - Laurel is Scottie's best, most beautiful, friend. No one gets Scottie like Laurel, and vice versa. Scottie's always dragging Laurel along to events, parties and most other places outside their comfort zone but they're always happy to do it, for Scottie.
Frankie Vives - co-star on 'Friday Night Bites' and biggest pain in Scottie's ass. Their vampire characters play opposite each other, tangled in all sorts of love triangles and tense situations. Scottie plays the 'hero' to Frankie's 'villain/anti-hero'.
Joy Greenaway - co-star on 'Friday Night Bites' and someone Scottie loves to work with. They even did a couple of gigs together when they were kids.
Gracie Watts, Ryan Star and Sienna Haven - co-stars on 'Friday Night Bites'. Gracie and Ryan are the younger cast members so Scottie tries to set a good(ish) example. Sienna is the 'new girl' that Scottie knows will bring them a lot of publicity if they cozy up to her.
Johnny Akana - Scottie's #1 idol when it comes to actors (don't tell their parents). Johnny was an absolute badass back in the day and Scottie can't wait to work with them this new season on FNB.

get to know me - useless info edition
Thank you for the tag @simstryingtheirbestok, here we go!
what do you have under your bed?
Lots of dust and possibly blue, yellow, green feathers of my budgies.
favourite candy?
I'm not a candy person but when I need sweets kitkats (my regional equivalent of them) are my go to.
describe your favourite shirt.
Honestly can't decide between two of them. One of them is basic yellow shirt with picture of a pug getting abducted by a flying saucer with the words "Too cool for this world."
The other one is a short soft green sweater with the ice giant planets and under them it writes "I need more space." Which is both literal and figurative for me.
You guys decide which one is better.
the last thing you drew/doodled was:
It's a simple pencil doodle of Matt Smith's profile. I was watching Doctor Who and at one point I realized I wasn't even watching the show because his profile was mesmerizing me. At that point I stopped the show, took a screenshot and started drawing. I got the nose, lips and the brows down but gave up at ears. Ears suck.
are you completely sober rn?
Yes. Been a while since I was very drunk. I like getting drunk but with good company.
what’s one thing that annoys you more than anything?
Stupidity. Waiting for answers to be given to you instead of researching things yourself.
have you ever gotten your tongue stuck to a cold pole during winter?
Sadly no. Never lived anywhere cold enough for that. I have done sillier things. Just yesterday, I scratched my nose while I was putting on a shirt. I wasn't even in hurry or anything, I'm just that talented.
if you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would it be?
Partying with The World Cup folks. I'm a huge football fan and I love international environments. The World Cup is the ultimate culture soup anyone can be in, plus there is football. I'd love to be there with the fans, watching the games live in stadiums. It's my biggest dream ever since I was a little kid.
what was the last single word you spoke?
"You" as in "See you," I usually end my conversations with that.
Tagging:
Oof, not many people left untagged and I don't have a lot of mutuals so I'm tagging only one person. @squeezleprime would love to know more about you!

Introduction Post
Dear creature, abstract concept, wildebeest and whoever else stumbles upon this, hello!
If you are here, it must mean you are a Doctor Who enjoyer or maybe a lost little Teen Wolf/Vampire Diaries fan. If the latter's true, then sorry bug, I rarely ever post about those anymore, the hyperfixation is over :( But if you want some Doctor Who content then hi girl. welcome here I think
Tumblr media
So here's a random info dump about me to either trigger your fight-or-flight response or become sisters:
I'm an artist. I mean that's what you call people who create stuff and I do that a lot: I write and I draw and I annoy the shit out of my neighbors by reorganizing my room in the middle of the night (for the sake of architecture)
I almost always take 20 years to answer texts
I haven't really slept since 2016
If you want to unleash the curse, then you may mention Doctor Who in my presence, or Catherine Tate/Christopher Eccleston/David Tennant
My top 3 Shakespeare plays are Winter's Tale, Much Ado About Nothing and Hamlet
I'm really enthusiastic about literary analysis, zombie apocalypse media, ghost stories, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind and Beksiński. Like really enthusiastic
I had the biggest obsession with Derek Hale for 10 years to the point where it got embarrassing. Like if you talked shit about Derek I would bite, and after seeing the shitty-ass movie I didn't talk for 3 days
I'm terrified of the dark, that québecois show called Têtes à Claques TV and Gojo Satoru fans
I listen to everything, but my fave genres are probably country, celtic music and whatever you call that other genre that has geniuses like Michael Malarkey, Adrianne Lenker, Jenny Hval, Sharon Van Etten, Vashti Bunyan, Kyla La Grange, Kate Bush, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds etc... like idk what it's called, I just call it cottagegore
I also love B-52's, Portishead, Foo Fighters and Minnie Riperton
Favourite foods and drinks are black tea with milk, well-seasoned tomatoes, bananas and reese's
But I'm also a bit of a raccoon I'll eat anything. even that fake concrete you find in kids' construction kits cause it smells really nice
I have adhd, anger issues, dyscalculia and sometimes in the street I look at my feet and then my thumbs because if I don't then I'm afraid I'll teleport. They had me do an IQ test once and said I was below average in some fields. it made me laugh
I kept getting into trouble at school because of how spacey and unhinged I was (I wasn't a troublemaker or anything I was just really tired)
I'm part of the crowd that thinks humans are more interesting than other animals (sorry bugs I love cat videos like the rest of you but we're just such a fascinating species)
I wanna move to Scotland soon
I had a fish once. Philippe. He was nice
I'm bi but I've never had a straight crush on a guy before except Christopher Eccleston and Jean-Pierre Polnareff (from Jojo)
I wonder if one day I'll feel like an adult
My works as of now:

outrageous - chapter 1
"Peter! Peter!" Debbie continued to poke Peter, who was sound asleep. "Peter! I have to go home! Tina is going to kill me!" She grabbed the boy by the shoulders and shook him wildly. "PETER!"
Peter cried out as he woke up in a panic. "WHAT? What? Who?" He opened his eyes and greeted Debbie with a smile on his face. "Good morning, baby."
"Peter! It's 6:30. Mr. Stark doesn't know I came here last night. Besides, if I don't make it home in time, Tina…"
Peter grabbed the girl by the waist and gently pulled her onto him. "I'll drive you. I haven't been to a Gallagher family reunion in a long time."
Debbie calmed down. "Seriously?"
"Visiting my girlfriend's family always makes me happy." Valentina was Peter's biggest fan, a smart and nice kid. Debbie's previous choices in men nearly caused her to have a heart attack. Her previous lover before Peter was Billy Maximoff, the nephew of the neighborhood drug lord Pietro Maximoff. Debbie was thirteen at the beginning of this terrible two-year relationship, and when he came to Valentina and asked for birth control pills, the girl's first move was, of course, to go and knock on their door. Wanda, the boy's mother, said she was overreacting. She had given birth to twin boys when she was fourteen, so what was the big deal? Her strange husband, Vision, had come to the door and apologized. He was a gentleman, polite, and very calm. The entire neighborhood, including Valentina, was surprised how such a man had survived in the Maximoff family. And he was a lawyer! He was probably the only person in this slum with a real-world profession.
Peter started to kiss Debbie as she lay on top of him when she stopped him. "Wait, I didn't calculate my calendar! If I get pregnant, Valentina will kill us both!"
The boy whined. "I don't like this calendar thing at all. Can't we use a condom?"
"But I love the feeling of you, Peter," Debbie whispered as she placed several kisses on Peter's neck that drove him crazy.
"Oh my God! Debbie!"
Debbie giggled. She finished the math in her head. "Okay. We can do it."
Peter swallowed hard as he watched Debbie, sitting on his
stomach, take off her shirt. "When do you think we can switch to birth control?"
"The last time I suggested something like this to Valentina, she was about to set Billy's family's house on fire! She would come over here and set Tony on fire. Do you want to watch that?"
Peter seemed to be hypnotized as he moved his hands to her breasts. "I'm a horny teenager in love. I don't care if the world goes down as long as I can have sex with you."
The girl giggled and began to move her hands over him with a slowness that drove Peter crazy.
At the same time, Tony, unaware of the risky morning sex between the two horny teenagers in his house, was rolling his eyes at Pepper, who was having coffee with him in the kitchen. "You should spend more time with him," she said. "I know it's been a year since we lost May, but still…"
Tony, who had to adopt Peter after Aunt May's tragic death, wasn't the most loving father in the world. He was annoyed that the boy kept calling him sir. He was also annoyed when he said Tony. But calling him dad! God, he could kill this kid one day.
"Debbie takes care of him instead of me. They eat and study together all the time. Maybe I should adopt that girl too? The two of them play together? And I can get out of your grip?"
Pepper spat out her coffee. “Are you out of your mind? Are you telling me you just left them alone without supervision?” She slapped his shoulder and lowered her voice in horror. “Peter asked me about the birth control pill the other day! How do you get it, is it possible to get it without going to the doctor?”
Tony shrugged. “He’s a robotics intern at Stark Industries. I refuse to believe my adopted child is that stupid. He must know how to deal with birth control."
“Tony! Talk to him!”
Tony squealed. “No way! I can’t give sex education to a sixteen-year-old! I don’t even have a full education about sex! It is a complicated activity even for me!”
The woman took a deep breath. “You’re thirty-eight! How… Oh my God! Talk to him or I won’t lift a finger if Debbie’s family comes to you crying with a pregnancy test result.”
“What am I supposed to say?” Tony protested. “Debbie’s not his first girlfriend, he’s learned something by now…” he thought. Debbie was definitely Peter’s first girlfriend. “Worst case scenario, I’ll be a grandfather at thirty-eight?”
“Peter would be a father at sixteen! Are you crazy? I can’t believe we’re even discussing this! I said you’re going to talk!”
The man rolled his eyes. “Oh my God! Okay!”
Pepper looked at her watch. “Peter said to wake him up at seven.” She got up from the table.
Tony stopped her. “Wait, you’ve given me enough guilt to go upstairs and check on my idiot son.”
Pepper joined Tony as he left the kitchen and headed up the stairs to Peter’s room. The woman shrugged at the man who sneered at her. “I want to make sure you’re being nice enough to Peter!”
“Okay, Mama Bear.”
When they arrived in front of Peter's room, Tony quickly opened the door to torment Peter who never woke up in the mornings and while he was hoping to burst into the room, he screamed and closed his eyes when he saw Debbie in her underwear, having sex with Peter. Her one hand was over Peter's mouth and her head was thrown back with pleasure. Peter was holding the girl by her waist. Debbie, in a panic, slid off of Peter and onto the bed, next to him, while Pepper stared at the teens with her jaw agape. Peter was already stuttering, "Mr. S…tark…Sir…I can explain."
 *   *   *
"Lip! Ian! Debbie! Liam! BREAKFAST!"
Valentina denied the burning smell of the last pancake in the pan and turned it off after she plated it.
Lip cursed as he stumbled down the stairs. "Fuck Tina! It's Sunday! What's wrong with you?"
"The first day of school tomorrow. I thought you'd at least make an effort in the last twenty-four hours to change your sleep schedule."
"You thought wrong." Lip, who had eagerly and unknowingly scooped the burnt top pancake into his mouth, grimaced as he tasted it. He opened his mouth to spit the wet bits back onto the other pancakes, when Tina arrived in time and pressed the hot spatula to his lips. Lip desperately backed away from the plate and pushed his sister away. "Fucking psycho!"
Tina shrugged. "I told you not to eat like a pig! You're licking Karen Jackson with that mouth. I'm pretty sure you have an STD. I can't let you get us sick! The girl has like a hundred husbands!"
"Karen is a sex addict!" Lip protested before taking frozen peas from the fridge and placing them on his lips. "Unlike you, she's accepted it and is getting treatment! You keep bringing random guys home every day!" Before Tina could attack him again, he left through the back kitchen door.
Ian came down the stairs with Liam in his arms, sat the boy down at the table, and went to the coffee machine to make coffee. "Did he go to Karen again?"
Valentina huffed. "I don't know what he sees in that skunk! Didn't he go to the doctor because he caught gonorrhea just last week?" The girl breathed as she ran a hand through her hair. She went to sit next to Liam. "Good morning, baby."
Liam smiled admiringly at his sister "Debbie went to that rich boy's house again. He told me he would bring me candy if I didn't tell you, but I won't hide anything from you Tina."
Tina wrapped her arms around the boy and kissed his hair "My smart boy." She turned to Ian "This is the performance I expect from all of you for Debbie! If Debbie gets pregnant or goes and marries one of those drug lords, I will burn you all down, except for Liam. He always brings me good intelligence, yeah, baby. Yeah." She left a few more kisses on her brother's hair in quick succession. Liam was giggling in happiness. When the doorbell rang, Ian said "I'll get it." and went to open the door. Debbie, who had her head bowed, was accompanied by a middle-aged man in a suit and sunglasses and the girl's boyfriend, whom Lip and Ian called "the sissy boy".
"Debbie?"
When the girl shouldered him through the door, Ian wanted to close the door but Tony stopped him "Can I talk to one of Debbie's parents?"
"I'm her brother, what happened?"
"A legal guardian?"
"I said I'm his brother!"
"Someone over eighteen?"
Ian got angry and shouted inside "Valentina!" He left the door open and went into the house.
"You wait in the car, Peter," Tony said but when Peter stayed where he was, he didn't insist. Valentina came out the door right after Ian, with her messy hair and a worn-out old
t-shirt and cropped shorts. "Peter! How's my favorite extra family member, huh?" The girl hugged Peter as Tony pulled them apart with a fake cough. "Honey, if I were you, I'd wait a little while before hugging this rapist."
Peter growled. "Oh my god! Don't call me that!"
Valentina stopped hugging the boy and looked at the man who still hadn't bothered to take off his sunglasses. "Excuse me, honey?" she said in a voice that mimicked the man's. "Do we know each other?"
"Tina, this is my adoptive father. Tony Stark," Peter said. "And this is Valentina. Debbie's sister. She's awesome."
Tony grinned, holding back a sly comment about how cute and kissable the girl looked. “I bet you anything she’s amazing.” He held out his hand for her to shake.
The girl crossed her arms over her chest, ignoring Tony's flirtation, but she had to admit that he was impressive. "We don't shake hands around here, Mr. Stark. What do we owe this visit to?"
He doesn't know who I am, Tony thought. Peter was a little annoyed that the imbecile hadn't announced to the world that his father was Iron Man.
"We did something," Peter said sheepishly. "My father thinks I should apologize."
Valentina's heart skipped a beat. God! She was surprised that Debbie had even stood that long without climbing on top of him. She pitied Peter, who was crushed and cowering in front of her.
"Debbie slammed the door in my face. If you can go up and check on her for me, I'll forgive you for whatever you did, Peter," she said. "Let the grown-ups talk about this. Okay?"
The boy looked at Valentina with grateful eyes and ran inside, holding himself back from yelling at his father, "See, she is cool! She is not like you."
Valentina took a step back and waved her hand inside. “Here you go, Mr. Stark. Have some burnt pancakes and cheap, crappy coffee while you explain what the hell our kids were doing.”
Tony took off his sunglasses as he entered the house and grinned to himself. He liked Valentina. She was also trying to figure out why she found Tony so attractive.

Doctor Who ask game: 5 and 13?
5. Any complaints about the show? I think my biggest thing is probably the writing. RTD was basic, new episode, new story kinda thing, and I liked that don't get my wrong, but sometimes it felt like an episode rushed to get to the end when it coulda been a double episode arch. Moffat was confusing a lot of the time. He was great writing stand alone episodes, but when he took over from RTD it just got ridiculously confusing a lot of the time. Chib shoulda never taken on Doctor Who, not cuz he's inherently awful at writing, on the contrary, I loved Broadchurch, but he's more suited to that sort of writing I feel. For me everyone in Thirteens era seemed very wooden with the acting, it felt like you knew they were following a script, which is nothing against the actors, there's only so much they can do with the dialogue and directions they are given, but I feel like if there was a different writer for Thirteens era it woulda been better. Thats my only complaint about the show really, honestly Doctor Who has always been a part of my life, I was a Whovian before it even returned in 2005 and I was 11 years old, my dad has always been a fan and got me into Doctor Who as a kid, he'd tell me about his favourite stories from his Doctor(Four) and it always sounded so amazing to me that when it came back in 2005 me and dad sat down every week and watched the episodes and would spend the time between episodes coming up with theories as to what was going to happen the next week from the little previews we got.
13. What's your favourite romance involving a companion? I'm a basic bitch when it comes to this. TenRose/NineRose. I loved the dynamic Rose had with both Nine and Ten, it was nice to see the different sides to the Doctor when it came to loving her as well. Nine was very reserved, coming off the back of the Time War, he was reluctant to get close to a companion in a romantic way, but he did love Rose and that was clear to see with the off hand comments that he covered up quickly. On the flip side you had Ten, who held all his emotions on his sleeve, he loved Rose a little more openly than Nine did, not by much, but I think Rose accepting him and staying with him after he changed from Nine to Ten opened his heart up to the possibility of loving Rose, even if he knew it would hurt him. "humans age, you wither and die, imagine watching that happen to someone you..." He loved her then, and he never stopped loving her. Rose was the first love of the NuWho Doctor's.
