Plus if i don't want to live off frozen dinners and takeout, i have to cook for myself. Planning meals and cooking is exhausting in itself. So eating becomes doubly exhausting if i have to cook. But i worry about becoming sick of my current staples, etc.

I can mostly force myself to eat these days, even though i don't want to (because the consequences are i feel like garbage if i don't). But cooking? For just myself? That's a special kind of torture I'm rarely able to suffer.

I wish i could at least like one or the other. If anyone has tips on how they've reframed cooking or eating in their minds or been able to do it with less pain, please let me know lol

Maybe it's ARFID but eating food is such an exhausting experience. Not just because a limited diet means you get tired of eating the same stuff eventually, or that trying new things is a painful experience. But also the constant cycle of needing to fuel your body when you just don't want to. I know there are some people who are addicted to food, but I've got the total opposite problem. Dont get me wrong, there are some foods I love! But if I could go the rest of my life without hunger or needing food.. I'd probably do it.

A lot of them have serious physical disabilities! It's enough that it poses a logistical problem, which they are committed to overcoming together.

Thunder Storm's three legs makes him slower than his companions. He's ferociously powerful, but like a male lion, he has to rely on his "lionesses" to slow a large animal.

Bright Storm has asthma from her heroics trying to save SkyClan cats from a fire. She's taking that from Gray Wing, who is famously the first major death now. Like her son, she has a difficult time with chasing prey.

Bumble is dyspraxic. She's a terrible hunter and fighter and struggles with self-worth because OTHERS used it to dehumanize her, and continues to, even after an entire society forms out of love of her.

Sunlit Frost has permanent nerve damage in his arm from the fire, and ends up working so hard that it makes his disability worse. A bite on the good paw from Snake becomes infected after he refuses to sit out from digging graves after the First Battle; I am planning a chunky B-plot about Sunlit coming to terms with the fact he has to retire early.

That's FOUR major members of a small group with physical disabilities that make hunting hard or impossible. They have a lot of logistical problems that I will actually be exploring solutions to.

Got a paramount+ trial subscription. Just finished watching all of Strange New Worlds (review: solid star trek shenanigans, pretty much all bangers with the exception of the Spock-is-human episode which just suuuuuucked and the Klingon war trauma episode about which I have let's say Philosophical Reservations in that it could have been more Space M*A*S*H. not as gay as I was promised, in fact I would say disappointingly heterosexual. adore uhura, hemmer and la'an. cannot believe they gorned my boy 😢)

Is the Witness cutscene viewable to people who did not pay for access to the season (or will it be post-year)? Like people who only bought the expansion and not the season pass? I know they shove important story and lore info behind timegated paywalls constantly (reason I hate the season model), but that seems like a really especially vital scene I would hope would be viewable in-game by everyone

Right now, it's only a part of the season. Obviously it's available for free online on their official and non-official channels, but in-game it's only for those that have Season of the Deep, for now, since it's a part of this season.

As for the future, honestly no clue. I will assume yes because of one simple fact: you will no longer be able to buy the past seasons when Lightfall year ends. That would mean that only people who bought the season during this year would continue to have access to the cutscene going forward, but no new players would have the same access, which kinda defeats the purpose of having it accessible in the game later.

So I can assume that they might be working on some universally accessible cutscene viewer that will allow all players to see cutscenes from content no longer in the game, regardless of whether they've previously purchased it or not. That's the best scenario because it would mean we'd get all other cutscenes in the game too. The middle scenario is that only the Witness cutscene will be viewable somewhere as part of another mission or some quest, also without having to have purchased Season of the Deep (since you won't be able to once TFS starts: technically you'll be able to purchase Lightfall so maybe it will require you to at least have purchased that, but the season itself will no longer exist).

We'll have to wait for more info on that. As of now, I would assume that once this year is done and the season is no longer purchasable, the cutscene will be a part of content that is available to everyone. While it's still purchasable, it's only in-game for those that bought it, but can be viewed with no problem on their official channel (and elsewhere).

bg3 characters I wanna make (and one i already made)

Mar (my 1st and current run): Tiefling Druid that generally tries to do good, but will go through shady things if she's feeling curious enough. Which she often is. Has a big crush on Karlash.

Unnamed 1: Gnome Bard that is here to play songs and joke around. If an option is funny, she would do it. Is really into Lae'zel and will overwrite her here-for-the-funny mindset if there's an option that would help her lizard wife. (they're married only in her head but don't tell her that)

Unnamed 2: Not sure on race yet, but Oath of Ancients Paladin that has to "fix" everyone. Not sure how long she'll keep her oath, I'll let the game take her storyline naturally. Due to her "fixing" obsession though, she gets stuck on trying get Shadowheart off of Shar's talons. Their romance begins with a wrong mindset but develops into a healthy one. (we don't do dysfunction here sir)

Blir (Dark Urge): Dragonborn Monk. I'm thinking she retreated in a monastery trying to suppress her impulses, and after that she lost her memory. Dunno if this is countered by the actual storyline of the origin, but I'll cross that when I get there. Her main goal is to survive and keep everyone alive, all while fighting both herself and all the other enemies a Tav normally has.

I understand that children need regular exercise just as adults do, but there has got to be a better way to make sure they're getting activity in than forcing them to exercise in front of their peers for a grade and shaming those who are less athletically inclined, right? my understanding of assisted suicide for terminally ill people is that where it's done by the doctor prescribing pills you have to take yourself, a majority choose to not take them. they express that it's comforting to know that if they pain becomes unbearable, they can make it stop. i am in favour of that kind of assisted suicide being available, as long as it's restricted to physical illnesses that will be fatal withing months anyway. expanding it to mental illnesses is obscene, especially considering how little we actually know about how to diagnose and treat them, or even to what extent they should be considered "illnesses".

Yeah, that pretty much sums up my stance on it too. Like I said I can understand wanting the comfort of knowimg that you don't have to sit there and suffer until you die. That you have that choice.

However, pushing it on to people who are most likely temporarily distressed and/or when there is other solutions that could help them just seems cruel to me. It feels like a easy Band-Aid solution so that the government doesn't have to spend money keeping them as a patient and actually trying to help them. Like the Canadian government is choosing just to throw that human life in the trash because it's not valuable to them monetarily. People deserve better than that.

hey, so people need to be aware that youtube is now (randomly) holding basic features for ransom (such as being able to pin comments under your own videos) in exchange for Your State ID/Drivers License, or a 30 Second Video Of Your Face.

not to pull a "think of the children," but No Actually. I've been making videos as a hobby since 2015 (and I've had my channel since middle school), I was a minor when I started and I'm not sure I would have understood the kind of damage something a seemingly simple as a video of your face can do.

this is a Massive breach of privacy and over-reach on google's part No Matter What, but if they're going to randomly demand a state ID or license then they absolutely should not allow minors to be creators.

google having a stockpile of identifying information on teenagers is bad enough, but the Alternative of recording your face and handing it over to be filed away is Alarming considering it opens the gates for minors who Aren't old enough to have a license.

and yes, there is a third option, but it's intentionally obtuse. a long wait period (2 months), with no guarantee of access (unlike, say, the convenience of using your phone's cameras for either of the other two), with absolutely No elaboration on what the criteria is or how it's being measured.

it's the same psychological effect that mobile games rely on. offer a slow, unreliable solution with no payment to make the Paid instant gratification look more appealing (the "payment" in this case being You. you are the product being offered).

and it's Particularly a system that (I think intentionally) disadvantages people who don't treat their channels like a job. hobbyists or niche creators who don't create regularly enough or aren't popular enough to meet whatever Vague criteria needs to be met to pass.

something like pinned comments may seem simple, you don't technically Need it. but it's a feature that's been available for years. most people don't look at descriptions anymore. so when there's relevant information that needs to be delivered then the pinned comment is usually the go to.

for my little channel that information is about the niche series I create for. guides on how to get into the series, sources on where to find the content At All (and reliably so). for other creators it can be used for things Much More Important.

Moreover, if we let them get away with cutting away "small" features and selling it back to you for the price of your privacy, then they Will creep further. they Will take more.
