And you're like, you know what I CAN think of a few moments in my favorite series that were kinda problematic, let me see if this analysis captures those concerns I noticed.

And then the meta's entire argument is basically just "This writer promotes racism because they wrote multiple characters, raised in a racist culture, being racists while surrounded by other racists and no one calls them out for it" and "the characters beat up the bigoted villain but they don't actually sit and talk about why bigotry is bad so that means the author isn't actually condemning bigotry" or god forbid "this character who has some bigoted beliefs still has a personality, is ethical in non related moral situations, and even does good things a lot of the time, so the fact that the author let a bigot be a hero shows that they think bigots deserve to be heroes/excused for their actions."
