i feel like people are skimming over the uk riots in a way that makes me want to tear my hair out. muslims in the uk are in active danger. immigrants in the uk are in active danger. refugees in the uk are in active danger. people of colour in the uk are in active danger. asian communities in the uk are in active danger. black communities in the uk are in active danger.

there are massive far right riots throughout the country right now and people like fucking elon musk and nigel farage are inciting it and still have a platform to speak. people have used three young girls deaths, people's genuine grief in southport, to try and gain traction for their own racist bullshit and it's working.

a lot of refugee charities have been forced to close leaving many people without support, homes, funding, food, etc. if you aren't able to donate please consider sending a message via the conversation over borders campaign! it will send a hopeful, welcoming letter to a refugee in the uk. there is also a guide to staying safe here.

please do your own research and donate to refugee charities, anti-islamophobia charities, mosques who are trying to rebuild after being destroyed, counter protesters, here are some i've heard positive things about but the list is extensive; southport strong together (support for the southport victims and their families), southport mosque rebuilding, riot repair fund, middlesbrough vulnerable residents, nasir mosque rebuilding, hull help for refugees, bristol welcomes migrants,

So. Tonight was a... bit of a bust. Turns out he was pretty much exactly what I was worrying that he was. Always a fun time when you find out that your most worrying anxieties were true 🥲

He can put in some fucking effort to fix this if he wants. but i'm so fucking done with people who refuse to believe that I mean what I say, and are also almost incapable of having genuine open communication.

Shit is too fucked in my life to introduce someone like that into my world, esp not on any deeper level. My words are all I really got left right now. i've been so honest with him. I've been working so hard at that and feeling really proud of my work. and apparently he just hasn't been believing that.

It ain't my fault that he apparently only knows really indirect, dishonest, people?? I'm not going to make myself become that again just so he can understand me. That's not fucking safe for me, and he may be cute, but he ain't worth that.

#ah i really know how to pick em yknow #what's hilarious is Tom‚ Christopher‚ and David would hate eachother and fight to say who's the best for me #meanwhile they all have huge strengths and huge flaws #they just happen to all have very conflicting big flaws that i for some reason noticed early with tom and david #but barely saw with Christopher til today #and this camr up after we had sex #and i feel pretty gross #i'm glad i know now #i don't even know if i can cry about this #i gotta clean the kitchen

Also, to say that I love your characters. The first time I found them I saw one picture of their feral art and I saw Machete and instantly thought "like my dogs!" because I am a volunteer at a dog shelter where we have a lot of spanish greyhounds (which aren’t exactly like him but a bit similar).

This is Violeta, one of the dogs (now living with a family that loves her).
