hey y'all I wanna boost Bilal's campaign (@bilal-salah0) which you may have seen me reblog here before.

Bilal is a 22 year old Gazan living in Germany raising funds to evacuate his family consisting of 18 people (including 8 children, 3 of which are newborns) The gfm is at about the 80% mark at the time of this post: €56,369 out of the needed €70,000 goal!

This fundraiser has been vetted by both @/nabulsi and @/el-shab-hussein and is also on their vetted fundraisers list (line 132)

hey, so i saw this post by @/palipunk [tumblr link] about a gofundme campaign to help someone evacuate gaza right now, with a tweet where the organizers are asking for only 250 people to each donate €100 to help reach the goal. i have almost exactly that and thought to become one of the 250 people, but i realized i could try to help stretch that money even further by matching other people's donations.

so, boost this post and whatever amount of money you have to give--50, 20, 10, 1 or less--donate it to the GFM linked below and then send a screenshot of proof of your donation either in a reblog on this post or in DMs to me, and i'll match it, up to $100 (which is a little less than €100 but it's what i have).

i'm hoping that at the very least we can get another person's worth of donations and double my original donation, maybe more if people keep donating through this post after i've sent all mine, but even if this post gets no traction i'll still be donating the full $100 within the week. there's nothing to lose, please boost to help Walaa Abusamra and her family evacuate gaza right now, and donate anything you can if you have it.

Teenage Wangxian are on point in this story and I loved reading about Lan Wangji slowly coming to understand that things at Lotus Pier are very much different from how things are at the Cloud Recesses and of course, there are misunderstandings and pining, but nothing feels forced. It's all very natural! Really impressive for being the author's first fic in this fandom!

Renad is a 24 year old midwife who had spent the past years after her graduation working at multiple hospitals such as Al-Quds and Al-Shifa. Renad wants to evacuate her family of seven, and also to continue her PhD degree to help more mothers and newborns. Her mother, father, and brother are now suffering from Hepatitis A, and her mother's case specifically is very severe and in need of treatment. Renad's campaign is currently at £3,732 out of £25,000, which isn't even enough to evacuate 1 of the 3 sick family members she has out of Gaza (the current cost is around £3940 to £5500)
