I'm still learning the Ko-fi interface, so I'm starting simple with icon commissions. That being said, I hope to offer more types of commissions very soon. Please feel free to let me know what sort of offerings you'd like to see from me in the future.

Some of you already know that the last few years have been pretty rough for me, health-wise. It's been a while since I was able to offer commissions. Things are getting better, though. My newfound ability to sit in a chair and draw is all thanks to physical therapy, medication, and my lovely friends and family. Learning to celebrate the little wins!

#fersona #While I don't have the capacity to do Hourly Comics Day #I did journal my day hour-by-hour and the sheer difference in my self-care and routines is *staggering*.#Honestly both Feb 1 2024 and 2025 were rough days...but this year I had a far better outlook on it all.#The funny part is that when I drew this a few days ago I actually *was* celebrating not crying.#Might have still cried on Feb 1st. A meagre 4 times. But I also had lot of good moments!#January is a very hard month for me and frankly I've been in a fugue state for most of it.#Drawing helped me pull through these last 2 years but this year I've been finding myself so upset at how I can't seem to focus anymore.#So updates and posts have been slow. I'm just slow. I'm tired and burnt out from work and grieving.#But you know what? The days I do manage to post; I'm never shamed for how long it took. You're all just as excited and kind.#I'm coming home and eating better and sleeping more and spending time with loved ones.#This is all to say; you can be a lot happier when you realize that life can be taken a little slower.#I'm more grateful that words can possibly convey.#If you related to the mindset of constantly feeling like you've 'failed' the day; please know you have done more than you realize.#I'm struggling with it everyday! I'm in the trenches with you!#Life is too short and painful to not celebrate what you *do* accomplish! It's hard work but it is worth it!#Bit by bit...we will learn to live. *Really* live. And enjoy it!

I animated two different versions. I wasn't able to import the first one (left) correctly because I animated it on Rough Animator, so I just decided to animate it again on Procreate (right). It turned out much easier to do the second time.

#PANIC!!!!!#SAM DON'T FREAK OUT!!!- uh.. Welp.... O-O #It's a GIF!!!! I'm really proud of how my little animation looks :) I tried going for a normal bug look since it's Sam's POV #Plus animating those bugs as they look would be wayyyy too much effort haha #I wont translate what the bugs are saying as they run away. It would be every curse word in the book #Really love this page. I put in a lot of effort! And even used some different programs to layer the animation with #That and I've been excited to draw this page since day one. Sam is literally Godzilla and she will unknowingly destroy much #i feel like the lighting is always so inconsistent in each page (because it is). ART RAMBLES: as i mentioned on the tags of my last drawing this piece gave me SUCH a headache #i think it's probably cos it was just supposed to be a quick sketch so i used a more stable pencil brush #but then i really liked it so i decided to properly colour it instead of just doing the watercolour thing i usually do for sketches #but with finished pieces i like the lineart to be kinda messy and the sketch to even show through bit #and since i used the more stable brush for the sketch it ended up looking WAY too clean. not like my stuff at all.#so i just started throwing stuff at the wall to see what could make it more interesting. full background! actual lineart! texture layers!#and this here is what i was the happiest with. i don't... love it though. it should be looking way more interesting given the pose #and then i also did the purge girl halfway through this and it looked SO good right out of the bat (pun intended)#so i went a bit into a spiral. did some realistic stuff i'll post soon. and now am trying out a thick black lineart style.#(i'll definitely still use the coloured lines for the sketchy watercolour stuff though. it just looks way too cute)

Please don't get mad at me but the answer is studying 😭 Drawing is one of those things where "the only way is through" you have to study a lot. the more you draw and the more you study, the better results you'll get (it's not easy but it's really fulfilling, especially when you can see your growth. at least that's been my experience) 🪴💗 have fun!!

Edit: there was a follow up question for “study what” and sorry if it wasn’t clear but you gotta study the show. The frames/screencaps, at least if you want to replicate the style. Outside of that, figure drawing and studying other foundational drawing skills

waow 2024 is almost dead!!! gone too soon. feels like it’s been a big year for me art-wise for many reasons, BUT. i’m making 2025 bigger.... hopefully....i’ve made some art goals for next year which i won’t explain in detail but they boil down to 1) do more studies 2) tackle my weaknesses (backgrounds, dynamic poses/angles, uhhh lots of stuff i am a one trick pony right now) 3) get into drawing comics, all of which are in preparation for 4) take my story ideas more seriously and get started on one of the many graphic novels living in my head. i have one in mind i HAVE to complete in my lifetime or i will die, but firstly i’m gonna mess around with some little standalone svanhildr comics perhaps. goat fans rejoice.
