I’ve been thinking about this constantly for days and I just had to draw it before I exploded. Flim and Flam cutie mark redesigns, because their canon cutie marks don’t make much sense

Some thoughts:

Their cutie marks have nothing to do with running scams, they’re just like that

Flim’s represents his natural talent for magic while Flam’s represents his skills with mechanical things. They’re both good at both of them, and they often work together on magical machinery, but they do have their specialties

They got them at the same time the first time they successfully made a functional thingamabob together

I kept the apple part because I love the headcanon that they’re actually part of the Apple Family but ran away/got disowned or something similar

Also their cutie marks complete each other, both visually and with what they represent (yes I will be wholesome about two fictional con men)

Another headcanon I love is that they cover their cutie marks and put fake ones over them based on whichever scam they have going on at the moment

I have a Bunch more headcanons about them but I want to actually draw the lads themselves for those
