I’m so excited to be posting this after having it in my drafts since last November. And it was so exciting to be liveblogging about an MCR show again with everyone!!

I hope it isn’t a long time before we all can do this again. Following the tour was such an incredible experience for me and to do it again for two nights only this weekend was amazing

Anyways, thank you if you’ve made it this far. And I hope all of you enjoy looking back on the list!!

I just imagined the Sides playing Stardew Valley, and I have no regrets for what I say.

Here’s what I think each of them would do:

Logan would probably be playing the game either like a speed run, or just think of profit. He would avoid the dateable NPCs like the plague and barely grow relationships with anyone. He would be only thinking about the tasks and nothing more. Oh, he’s also definitely finish the community center the quickest out of the other sides. He also has the most organized farm, and he’d only go to the festivals where he knows he can get something out of it, like the strawberry seeds from the egg hunt festival. He also would either sleep too early, or pass out at 2:00 AM. No in between.

Patton would be friends with everyone, have full hearts with them all, and would either marry Harvey or Elliott, mostly cus they fit his type. (Cough cough Janus/Logan) The kids would love him, he’d be full hearts with all the animals in the pen, and it would be IMPOSSIBLE for me to not see him without the golden retriever dog. Or the white cat because this is the only game where he can have a car and not be allergic to them. Also, he would avoid the mines like a plague and do all the help wanted requests even if he didn’t have the items right away. I can also see him having a not too organized farm, where 90% of that farm will be saved for animals or be a hot mess, and the 10% just having farmland that’s decently neat after Logan taught him what it could look like for maximum efficiency.

Roman would DEFINITELY have 6 saves with each of the dateable men married on each one. His farm would be AESTHETIC AS HELL with either a shed or a cabin decorated like crazy. He would be in the skull caverns or mines just killing monsters, and he’d be besties with all the female NPCs. He’d be gravitated towards Elliott or Sebastian, and probably join the save with Shane less but would still go because he’d be like “I can FIX HIM!!” Even tho after marriage he goes RIGHT BACK TO SQUARE ONE WITH THIS MAN. After all of that, he’d probably finish the community center after like… maybe year 3 or 4?? And I’m being generous here.

Virgil would choose the Spooky farm, and would ONLY start actively socializing in fall. Only because of the Halloween season. He would avoid all of the NPCs like the plague, and barely want to go to Pierre’s because of social interaction to buy seeds. He’d probably be friends with Abigail and Sebastian, and would definitely develop a crush on either Sam or Alex after maybe year 2- He would also be SUPER anxious about the tasks, sometimes to the point he’d never do them. He’d only go outside to either be in the mines, or on a rainy day. He may also call Elliott a knock off version of Roman, and definitely would say Harvey is Logan. And he would choose any of the cats, but definitely the black one.

Janus would probably say he wouldn’t bother, but would secretly play it for hours after everyone’s gone asleep. His farm would be a mix of Roman’s and Logan’s, with it leaning more towards the Logan side. He would probably call very NPC a knockoff of each of the sides, saying Linus is the closest to Remus but would more so compare him to any hostile mob instead like a slime. He would probably marry either Elliott or Alex, and would probably try to divorce them soon after marriage. He DEFINITELY would cheat his way through occasionally, only to get a loved gift by an NPC, or would get himself extra buffs if he was too lazy. Shit, he’d probably start with the cheats just cus he’d say something like “The start of the game is too slow” or something like that.

Remus…. Oh boy. He would use cheats but use it to get bombs, and explode everything. He also would drink mayo infront of all the NPCs, and gift each of them trash cus he can. He would dig in the trash every single day, and would chop down all the trees. He’d constantly pass out at 2:00 AM, pretty sure he’d be at the Saloon 60% of the time, and would probably romance Sebastian and would make Elliott hate him cus yknow.. he reminds him of Roman.

Y’all can pick the farms they’d most likely pick, but I know Logan would choose the standard farm, Patton would choose the group farm so he could play with the other sides, Roman would maybe choose the meadowlands for the aesthetic, Virgil would choose the Spooky farm, as well as Remus, and Janus would prolly pick the hilltop or forest farm just to say he can be away from everyone.

Love and Deepspace really piqued my interest and curiosity these days, so if it's alright with you, may I ask about the personalities of the love interests there? Even just brief or what characters from MLQC kind-of resembles them?

I can already see a bit of Victor in Zayne/Li Shen (which is my type!!) and Gavin in Xavier/Shen XingHui though, but I'm not sure. ><

sorry for the late reply, but i wanted to compare the changes in writing in the ongoing (3rd) CBT before making assessments. and tbh, the writing is still very much under development.

they have already made several changes in the main story plot, the interactions between the heroine/ you and the love interests (majorly with Li Shen as there were severe complaints regarding unstable writing + medically wrong terms after the prev. beta). and after the feedbacks from this beta, i’m sure there will be further optimizations until the official release, so it’s still pretty early to comment on the love interests’ personalities. but if you want me to analogize the current impressions to the lovepro characters, yes, you’re right on the money haha.

Li Shen does share the same strict and stern on the outside but a big bowl of marshmallow on the inside personality as Victor + the extensive use of idioms in the sentences, the either firm or gentle hold on your hand he always has are sure to remind you of a certain someone haha. Li Shen and the heroine have a childhood connection too.

as for Shen XingHui, similar to Gavin, assumption is he’d be a knight character. he is very sweet and happy-go-lucky, but there’s a calmness to him too. might be a little too bland for some people at first, but there’s potential, plus his identity itself makes him super important to the plot, so, hold on haha.

Qi Yu is kind of like a mystery to me still. yes he gives off that enormous bratty energy, but there’s also a quiet side to him (kind of a given since he’s an artist by profession). he’s more like a blend of Kiro and Shaw?? tho it currently feels like the writers aren’t really sure about how to balance his character, whether to build him around the quiet side or to focus on the young energy. b/c while it’s not impossible for them to coexist, too much of one trait could totally strike out the other and seem delusional.

anyway, final words, my recommendation would be to keep an open mind. while these characters do share traits with the characters of their parent game, they are unique characters of their own, embracing their own characteristics and stories. and the writing approach is still subject to change, so~ ∠( ᐛ 」∠)_

okay here we go! ima go into depths about how i see him in my head + how he is in all the fics i write for him. firstly, i always always say that vinnie hacker reminds me of eren a lot and idk why. i think it’s mostly his face structure and hair. eren, to me in my head has black hair. like jet black. i usually just say his hair is brown in my fics bc then ppl will be coming to me saying ‘but his hair isn’t black it’s brown’ like duh ik that. dropping photo references bc i’m constructing a collage for him still.

so, based off hair looks: jet black with some curls. usually does still style it in his usual bun with the two strands in front. hair isn’t super curly, he has little ringlets. or he just wears it straight down.

as far as tattoos go, eren in fact has a LOT of tats. he has a full sleeve on his right arm. a tat across his neck that says ‘bite me’ which is my favorite <3. a few on his abdomen, chest, hips etc. piercings as well which include a diamond stud on his right ear and on the right side of his nose. he plans on getting more :)

body type is somewhat of how he is in the anime but slightly bulkier. i like how he looks in season 4 a lot lmao. also he’s 6’6 !

bonus; eren’s style. obviously he wears mostly neutral toned colors. black and gray are his favorites tho. he’s very casual. wears a lot of skinny jeans, sweatpants, or cargos. likes plain tees a lot, tends to throw leather or varsity jackets etc over them. spruces up his look with graphic tees if he can find vintage ones at a thrift store. bands & nascar for the win! sneaker head so he always has something new in that closet! loves the 550 new balances or low dunks + skater vans. wears a lot of necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings. sometimes watches if there’s a special occasion like a date or whatever. likes bandanas cs he thinks they make him look badass. will toss on a beanie or snapback randomly. hoodie lover.

Jockbull Summer Final Week Set A (1/1/24-7/1/24)

Here we are bros. I decided to end it early since I accidentally started the Jockbull summer in like the last month of Spring. So we’ll call this a season. 8 weeks and then onto the next. Additionally, interest largely seem’s to have waned and I wanna focus on giving some more stuff that’ll keep your attention rather than flooding your dashboards lol. These will be my last set of diary write ups. And then next week I'll have a retrospective detailing how things went and what I'm likely to keep

1.

I’ll be straight and real with yall. This was probably the worst week yet lol. Mentally i just wasn’t here. Lots of stress and strain. I do have a new workout structure, that includes AMRAP pushups near the end. Diamond push ups that really tire you out by the time you finish all your other training, but its not quite the same or for the same purpose. I tried to sort my time table so that Pushups were combined with the times i wanted to work on my PT cert early in the day. But that has yet to really work out.

2.

Keeping with the smite idea from previous weeks I managed to go on a 3 game win-streak. Total ez streak, possibly because my Elo was reset from not playing in such a long time. But dunking is still dunking and you still get the mental endorphin rush from winning. Only thing that broke the streak is that my Duos partner (yet another Muscle brained Gym bro that i’ve known for years) had to dip mid game. Tragic.

3.

Since this is the last week and its even I didn’t throw anything out. But I am going to have one final push to get some of the last chunks of shitty oversized clothing out of my life. Gonna make an attempt to throw out 4 more pieces of clothing and then the lot will be going to the charity/thrift shop.

There is an episode of Baki where the main character is lying in bed with his girlfriend horny as hell, and they are about to fuck when Baki’s father, Strongest man in the world Yujiro, appears out of the darkness to cheerlead them fucking. And more than cheerlead. This man encourages the most relentless rauchy unending stream of fucking bitches from his 18 year old son. Literally morning noon and night boning down. A kind of gymbro failure story which makes me sound like a bit of a douche but i also don’t care.

I’m pretty regularly one of the bigger guys in the gym at any given time. Not always. And that’s not really a compliment to me and more of a dunk on the kind of establishment that my gym is. So this one dude has kinda latched onto me as his story for hope cause of all the weight i lost and how much i’ve grown. I think he’s convinced i’m going to give him the secret formula and not just tell him “Just keep training and eat properly.” He came up to me this week and asked if he could come and workout with me another day. Gave some spiel about needing someone to motivate him and keep him going. He’s another immigrant too. So I commiserate with that and I told him sure, even tho i don’t particularly like training push with other people. But then on the day he was supposed to come at the time we had set up he just…didn’t show. Which makes sense. I tried telling him, motivation should be internal. Consistency comes from discipline. But he didn’t want to hear it. And so the outcome made sense. I wasn’t super broken up about it, Just meant i got to train push on my own in peace and quiet.

but anyways, in essence; i'm busy pretty much every day from 5am in the morning when i am up until probably 4-5pm everyday depending on what prep i have to work out with my lead teacher ( who is a very sweet mid forties early fifty y/old lady who always makes sure i eat breakfast ), as well as getting to and from my job site particularly towards the end of the day...which is not easy when ur a lame, boof, no driving ass bitch like me.

( which, i know talk a lot of shit on myself about it...but oddly enough; i am proud of myself for knowing my limits, valuing my comfort and being the ceo of the bus and slaying on public transport. xx )

but all this to say, i love my job! my lead teacher ( aka educ major slang for the teacher who's class you assist in ) is literally such a nice lady and she has been teaching me so much! i was having a little difficulty getting in the groove because the summer camp kinders aka the children actually taking kindergarten in the fall are pre-kinder basically so they're like...t-k or preschool, almost? which....ooooough.

Got to celebrate Valentine’s Day early and all weekend at the Super Bowl tickle gathering!! Tons of fun as always! ❤️🏈

- Clay and I did everything we wanted to do this weekend! Like playing with certain people! Meeting friends in-person for the first time! I watched my very first Super Bowl game!

- We also met a few fans of our content! That’s always super flattering and awesome! Happy we met some of you!! 🥰

- I was quite switchy this weekend, usually I lee, but this time I equally lee’d and Ler’d~. Definitely have special cravings for certain tickle boys hng~. 🍽️

- Got to be switchy with someone I usually play with at gatherings.. Well I watched Episode 4 of Idol Land Pripara raw because I don’t know when or if subs will ever come out but I understood pretty much most of it besides a few lines so I got the jist of it (I could not understand Ajimi at all lol)

One thing that was interesting is the YouTube version I watched had a paused screen of Amari while the OP played, like when they show off the sponsors in anime. Makes me wonder if that was there because ILP might air on tv some day or something

I don’t have anything too interesting to say about the episode but it was interesting that Yui became Amari’s manager tho I wonder if that setup will continue because I imagine it’d be difficult given she can only stay awake for 3 mins lol. I wonder if Amari will get a proper manager if she doesn’t but managers aren’t really a thing in the ILP game so probs not.

My Way Star was an interesting song though I’m not super fussed on it but I liked Dressing Pafe’s Coordes.

I thought it was engaging, I did like seeing John as he was still trying to find some way to cure his cancer. But he was all wide eye optimistic trying to find an experimental cure in another country in Saw 6 (which insurance turned down, thus the games in 6), after presumably he was burned with an experimental cure in another country?

But still, it was interesting to see him get burned and then trap those who wronged him, though the traps were very sparse yet elaborate. Like, mostly the other people were just standing there waiting for something to happen.

And I do find it very bananas that John predicted soooooooo much, like okay you could guess that Bad Guy was truly Bad, but for them to put y’all in your own traps and it to NOT turn out badly???? Like he thought ahead so much that he would be put in a trap where the Bad Guy and Bad Lady not want to stand there and watch them die and thus to booby trap the money???

While watching Roland Emmerich movies with my brother, and having a bingo card for them, we had a spot for “contrived coincidence” and I totally should have put that on my Saw X bingo cuz small Mexican boy being randomly outside playing soccer at god knows time in the really early morning so he could get promptly shown inside to be in a trap was like “dude REALLY?????” I feel like there is some “okay that was convenient” in these movies but that took the cake. And then the image of this small boy who did not speak English being with Amanda and John, covered in blood, just walking off into the sunrise I was like “bruh 💀”

The traps were just as weirdly elaborate as I thought they’d be, so I did get to pencil in “who built this?????????” on my bingo card. We are soooooo far from the traps in Saw 1, where the most elaborate was the Reverse Bear Trap, and the rest was people being tested with relatively simple setups. When I saw the guy with the pipe bombs sewn into his arms, I got excited thinking we’d see Lawrence, but nooooo. We did get that Hoffman cameo, tho, and of all the cameos I had on my bingo card (Lawrence, Detective Kerry, any past/future survivor, and reverse bear trap), THAT was the one I DIDN’T put on there 🤦🏻‍♀️

The premise of Jigsaw going to Mexico for an experimental treatment is such a weird yet interesting yet ultimately weird premise, it does indeed feel shoehorned in considering how he was already shown trying something similar in Saw 6. And like if he couldn’t get insurance to cover that, he TOTALLY couldn’t get this covered, so how did get the money to wire even half to Bad Lady??? It’s the same weirdly large amount of money he has to make all these death traps rofl

Am I being too nit picky over Saw movies? Maybe lol

Should I just keep it simple? Should I just say “oooo yeah the brain trap was gnarly and I did glance away” but then not say how I rolled my eyes when Bad Lady used another woman’s intestines as a ROPE to wheel a cart over??? Which I will say I am confused cuz one of the others says “we can use our jackets like a rope” or something and then they go to NOT DO THAT. Which I would have LIKED that cuz it would have been a smart throwback to Saw 1.

OH I did like John using his smarts and his drawings to triangulate where their hideout was, that’s very serial smart killer of him

I REALLY REALLY LOVE THIS OKAY they could’ve given him a personalized one toward Janaff but they didn’t feel like they had to (he does have personalized supports with Naesala and Tibarn and there are a few impersonal but-directed-at-certain-people-i.e,-wonky-RD-style-supports). Technically they could’ve had him In The Middle of His Development like with Tibarn, where he holds back from using “sub-human” in their C support, but he doesn’t even have to correct himself in their A support because he says laguz with no hiccups.

In PoR they don’t have supports, so it makes sense to show that development with a character he hasn’t interacted with, but they didn’t write him in as stumbling and calling Janaff “sub-human” because he already corrected himself in doing that in PoR in their A support, and if they had him do that here then it would be like implying their A support never happened. Since they can’t tell just based on the support dialogue here who he supported in PoR, they didn’t have him have to “rebuild” his developed relationship with Janaff. Their relationship is “already formed” in the sense that he uses the same dialogue he would with other characters from the previous game.

With characters that weren’t playable and thus couldn’t have supports with him, he’s forming those relationships for the first time. Those ones still need to have development. Shinon is still mildly back and forth in this game as if referring to laguz as “sub-humans” by habit (remember, he only started trying to fix that when he met Janaff, and by then he was 27, so... at that point it would a habit he needed to break that had been going on for a very long time). He corrects himself though, even using sub-human but then correcting to laguz in the next sentence.

They could’ve just shrug emoji’d his dialogue and gave him new dialogue with Janaff, but they wrote it in the same way he would refer to someone he was already pretty familiar with. They could’ve changed it so that he was treating Janaff like he was in their C support in PoR (or slightly better than that, seeing as how in his C support with Tibarn he’s not actually rude to him but just stumbles in referring to him as a sub-human), but they kept a more familiar line for Janaff and he doesn’t mention Janaff being a laguz at all.

Technically since this is RD, he’s already had some of his development so he’s not in the same mindset as he was in early PoR, so his C supports with Tibarn, Naesala and Caineghis don’t portray him as being disgusted by laguz.

Granted, all his B support dialogue is just super sassy and it’s great LOL. That’s not even a matter of who he’s talking to. He’s sassy to everyone.

I just really appreciate that they didn’t invalidate a potential existing support for him by restarting his development with Janaff despite that he’s still working on backtracking bad habits with other characters. It would really suck because Shinon only has three supports in PoR and two of them let his existing character shine (being a mentor and a friend), while only Janaff’s actually develops him and would actually fit right in with his characterization in RD. With the way he behaves in RD, it’s almost like he was written with their A support in mind because he acts like the person he became in their PoR A support during the course of RD.

Also, they were one of the ones planned to have a full A support dialogue together before that idea got scrapped for the game, so I’m really happy they didn’t just act like he didn’t know Janaff know. By the end of their supports in PoR they’ve stopped arguing or being rude to each other, so I’m really glad they didn’t just go backwards with that. 🙏
