Decided I’m going to make a proper separate self insert for this AU so there will be that technical distinction but they are still functionally Me but Littol Guy!

Idc they also get my name so uhhh meet Ezra Locket! They’re a borrower who lives in a house belonging to one of Murdoc’s numerous aliases and when he first moves in they’re so excited for a single, pet-less human to be occupying this house whose walls they occupy. And then they start to learn about him- and his occupation.

It doesn’t take long for them to figure out he’s leagues more dangerous than your average human and they immediately make preparations to move out, find another human house’s walls to live in. They couldn’t stay in this one- the human with whom they shared their current house killed other humans for a living. They didn’t even want to think about what he’d do to a little thing like them.

Just as they were making their last borrowing run one night, Murdoc managed to catch them…

And that’s how they first met, Ezra, scared fucking shitless and Murdoc immensely curious about the little creature he’d just captured (after weeks of being aware of their presence. Not that they needed to know that just yet…)

More on that interaction later…

But THIS picture is of them at a much later date, once they’ve become friendly and more affectionate with each other. I just took this opportunity to talk a little abt this ‘new’ self insert variant!! :3
