This is a weird thought I’m having so I wanted to ramble a bit but I don’t understand this weird double standards in fandom that I’ve noticed and it’s just. Idk.
JayVik is one of the most popular ships in the arcane fandom despite Jayce saying ‘he’s like a brother to me’
Meanwhile Genji says ‘you’re like a brother to me’ to Cassidy in one of their interactions and immediately everyone starts dunking on the ship saying it’s found family it’s this it’s that and now you can’t ship it. I think it mainly just comes down to ship popularity tbh like. It’s undeniable people like yeehan and JayVik a lot more than they like things like Spuriken and idk. MelJay? (only comparison I could think of)
I think with JayVik specifically it’s also that you get to see a lot more development between Jayce and Viktors relationship, so most fans would probably grow attached to it more despite what happens with Mel who we see a bit less of??
Idk about overwatch every ship just gets tablescraps I don’t even know where yeehan came from 😭 blizzard can’t even decide if it wants to push Pharmercy or Gency so I am so honestly over it at this point lmaoo
I have no issues with any of these ships do whatever you want I just think it’s interesting how people cherry pick depending on the ship/fandom ig?
(Obviously overwatch is not arcane and the fandoms/general fans/shipping cultures are suupppperrrr different I just happen to be in both and this is something I noticed while actively being apart of both fandoms)

Hi friend! Genuine question. I would love to follow, but before I do, I wanted to check if proshippers or radqueers are allowed on your profile? If not you may politely block or simply say no. Thank you, have a pleasant day dear. :)
IM GONNA ANSWER THIS HONESTLY. THIS IS NOT AN INVITE FOR DISCOURSE. I AM VERY SOLID IN MY VALUES AND OPINIONS AND IF YOU DISAGREE WITH THEM, EITHER SHUT UP ABOUT IT OR BLOCK US, WE DONT CARE /lh /srs
Oh buddy the day has come where I must reveal my stance on proship and rad queer (not like I ACTUALLY have to but yk rent lowering gunshots or whatever, this account has gotten bigger than I wanted anyways)
AHEM (don’t be scared asker I have very nuanced opinions)
First things first, short answer is yes, you can interact, anyone’s allowed to interact, I don’t really give a shit and many of my headmates give even LESS of a shit. If I disagree with or dislike you, as long as you’re not causing problems or make me specifically and directly uncomfortable in some way then I don’t care, and if I do care, I will simply block and move on. I don’t really like having too much hate or discourse on my page (especially from other people, yes I know I post about discourse fairly often, it’s because people annoy me and I have a lot to say lol) no matter who it’s targeted towards so honestly I’d have more of an issue with anyone of any stance causing problems than anyone of any stance just like…existing
Second, everyone in my system has different opinions on LOTS of things, including this, so like anyone who’s not comfortable with ANY opinion on ANYTHING either needs to be prepared to be civil or just block us tbh
Third, I and most of my system personally align with what we understand to be the original meaning of “proship” which is the whole “ship and let ship” “don’t like don’t read” kind of thing. I believe anything that exists anyways has a right to and if I dislike it I will simply not engage because good lord it’s not that difficult guys 🙏🙏🙏
Fourth, on the topic of radqueer, that is something that is EXTREMELY varied opinion wise in our system. I personally, and probably the most common opinion in our system, is that we kind of simply don’t care. It’s none of our business, we don’t fully understand it enough to have a super concrete opinion on it, I think trying to label our (personal, not general) extremely nuanced opinions is pointless. As long as you are not directly, knowingly, and intentionally hurting people, I do not care. I absolutely support all non-harmful paraphilias, and any paraphilias that COULD be harmful, I still support the people who have them, because they are people, many of whom cannot control their thoughts and feelings, just like anyone else. Again, as long as you are not directly, knowingly, and intentionally hurting people (which includes any form of non-consent) then I don’t care. If people can experience it, it’s part of life, and the second we put a line on where an experience is “too far” we open up more avenues for marginalized and oppressed people to get hurt.
And for TransIDs (or whatever alternative term people might use), to be fully honest, 95% of the time they are not harmful at all, they’re hardly different from xenogenders or literally just like…wanting to do something you currently don’t for whatever reason, and anything that possibly could be harmful, in our opinion, is more about how the person actually acts and understands the experience/identity/etc. they’re identifying as rather than…simply identifying as it. Idk if it’s an autistic thing but genuinely outside of people misusing or misunderstanding things, I don’t really get the concept of appropriation or gatekeeping on any front. I UNDERSTAND THE REASONS BEHIND IT, I understand a lot of it stems from people misunderstanding or misusing things, it stems from racism and colonization, it stems from ableism, it’s a way to protect your culture/experience (I guess??? I truly do not get it on a disability/neurodivergence/mental illness front tbh like yall are bordering on eugenics here with half your arguments just being “why would you want this???” You sound like a trans med that’s embarrassing) I get it. But your race and ethnicity and body and brain are all things you’re born into without say just like anything else is, and so many experiences overlap, and so many cultures have unknowingly made extremely similar practices/religions/clothing/make up/food/etc all throughout history. I feel like culture and experience is something that should be shared, and if someone resonates with something, they shouldn’t be blocked from it just because of the circumstances of how they were born
Tbh a lot of our opinions boil down to these key values and opinions:
1: don’t directly, intentionally, knowingly, and non-consensually hurt others
2: do whatever the fuck you want forever. If everyone was kind to each other it literally wouldn’t matter. Life is meant to be lived, experiences are meant to be had and shared and understood
3: anything that DOES exist has a RIGHT to exist, otherwise it wouldn’t exist, and again, the second you start trying to control that is the second you let controlling ANYTHING ANYONE disagrees with be ok, and that puts all of us in more danger
4: be kind and empathetic and understanding. Be open minded and LEARN. Stop shit talking when you don’t even know what you’re talking about. Way too many people, especially online, make half-baked opinions based on what they hear other people say and then are deathly stubborn about it, and that doesn’t help anyone. That’s what creates echo chambers and kills progress, creativity, individual thinking, and general kindness and understanding
5: I’m not god. I’m not omnipotent. I cannot and will not ever know, understand, or be able to control everything, it is pointless to try
6: at the end of the day we could all just fucking put our phones down and be people. People with varied experiences and feelings and thoughts and opinions, all of which are inherently valid, because they exist
I probably have more to say idk this is a very nuanced and honestly interesting topic to me but I’ve already got my block button locked and loaded for anyone trying to argue with me. I don’t care if you disagree, this is how I feel, and unlike a lot of people, I don’t let strangers on the internet dictate how I’m “allowed” to feel. If that were the case then literally I’d be a fucking neonazi because that shit is all over the internet. But I’m not, because I have critical thinking skills, confidence in myself, and arguably life ruining levels of empathy and thirst for knowledge (having low empathy is not a bad thing this is just part of the context for ME)

I’m not going to debate anyone on this because I no longer care about fandom discourse but I feel like I got real lost on it in the past and a lot of my takes were muddied by others + my own struggles to properly express things + I’ve just evened out on a lot of “issues”… so. Quick 2025 Rooster on South Park discourse rundown:
Fem vs masc arguments are painfully semantical with these characters 9/10 times and a lot of masc![character] vs fem![character] interpretations differ only in what each person considers to be those terms (They’re endlessly subjective after all!!!). While certain tropes and fandom trends should always be open to potential criticism and discussion whether for meta purposes or talks about representation, harassing small creators (on BOTH SIDES) is ridiculous please stop that
This isn’t solely South Park but since it’s still happening. Shipping debates are still dumb and cause endless unrest. Some of the most toxic shippers tend to be created by other toxic shippers creating them, and it’s and endless, pointless cycle. just multiship tbh it’s so much more fun guys (or block, filter tags, idk be nice???)
South Park meta endlessly makes assumptions and tends to pick and choose what it takes seriously. This is fine and good, death of the author and all that, and the analysis of even the unintentional can be extremely fun to talk about or write around! But i don’t support meta treating itself like the true “canon” or weaponized at others beyond lighthearted debates, this show is a joke at the end of the day. I don’t think this means that the shows writing or intentions are fully meaningless and generally accurate analysis can’t be made, but be reasonable. Probably treat your meta like interpretations rather than fact! Idk
Kyle has freckles I was right I was RIGHT you all laughed at me but I was RIGHT.

I would never wish growing up in a hyper religious African house on my worst enemy. The cognitive dissonance is insane especially if you grow up in the West yet your family (and other African families around you) insist on clinging on to asinine “traditions” that are really just covers for abuse.

People in the Cookie Run Kingdom fandom have apparently sent death threats to certain accounts over shipping 2 consenting adults because of an “age gap” (both hundreds or thousands of years old, idk I don't go here, heard it through my bestie)
This is what an age gap looks like apparently to these discourse accounts basically as an example or two from another fandom:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also not all ships are perfectly happy or healthy, not everyone's going for a picket fence pipe dream here.
Tumblr media
Some ships can exist to make each other worse.

hi mx witch, I’ve been debating whether to send this in for a bit but I am curious what you think. I’ve been going back and forth on the ongoing “can you read at least one singular book by a Black woman” discussion bc there is a thing where especially white readers (I am also white, non american but also somewhere with significant Black diaspora) hold up Black authors as somehow being the pinnacle of diversity and ending the conversation there. I don’t think you are doing this btw but this is the reading comprehension site. I just worry it doesn’t prompt people to think about more general issues of diversity in publishing when E/SE/S Asian authors also get screwed over in the industry (especially Asian women who don’t want to write about being Oppressed by their Traditional Culture) and there are just shamefully few published Indigenous authors from any continent.
HOWEVER. then I see some of the more tar pit responses to your book posts and to the rap discourse (oh my god the rap discourse) and I am like. hmmm maybe we should stay focussed on prompting people to challenge their anti-blackness for a bit when so many people are clearly incapable of the baby step of reading more widely. Much to consider.
📚
ps if you post this and anyone reads it and goes “oh wow this is so right, I guess I don’t need to read books by Black women”: no
pps SORRY for spam if this is a second anon, I asked this morning with dodgy signal and have no idea if it went through or if you are just swamped/don’t want to reply. no pressure.
hi anon,
I think it's a really good and thoughtful question, and I appreciate the good faith engagement with this question a lot! your concern reminds me a lot of something Yaa Gyasi (an author who's come up a lot in discussion about Black women writers!) said in this interview a few years ago:
Representation isn’t enough. It’s not enough to see people as representatives, and not actually engage with what they’re trying to say. I guess I’ve been feeling dispirited about the way that my work gets read, as it allows people to pat themselves on the back and feel like they’ve done something. Is literature enough? That’s frankly the question I’ve been asking this past year. I used to be the kind of person who would say this is making us more empathetic. But I’m not sure anymore if that’s what’s happening. Are you reading, or are you reading?
and I definitely agree with her, and think that a lot of people have a tendency to reduce authors who aren't white, heterosexual men to tokens whose work they're morally obligated to read to be Good Allies, rather than because the work genuinely speaks to them, entertains them, moves them, challenges them, or does anything else that literature is capable of. it doesn't help that the publishing industry itself has an awful tendency of tokenzing authors, as you alluded to.
this is one of the reasons why I never include spaces pertaining to an author's personal identity on the reading bingo sheets that I design. I know that prompts like "read a book by a Native author" or "read a book by a trans author" and so on are quite popular in many book bingo spaces, but to me they run the risk of tokenizing those authors and make it seem as if it's fine if, for instance, no Native or trans authors are found anywhere else on the sheet, since they have a designated space. which isn't a perfect solution, to be sure - without a specific prompt, it's just as likely that there will be zero authors who are Native or trans or whatever other marginalized identity one can come up with on the bingo sheet. I'll be honest: as much as I love seeing the bingo sheets my followers are filling out, I'm a little stunned and disheartened to see how starkly white many of them are!
in this conversation, where people are being challenged to name even a single author who's a Black woman and coming up short, I think many people, especially hobby readers, are maybe realizing for the first time that they way they read doesn't quite live up to the ideas of equity that they personally hold and they're interested in changing that now. I've received a lot of feedback that does boil down to people excitedly reporting that they're now deliberately rushing to the library to seek out books by Black woman, and I can easily see how, pessimistically, that could be seen as further tokenizing those authors.
as much as I've rolled my eyes at the people who loudly insist that they couldn't possibly know what gender, race, ethnicity, etc, any author is because they only care about the story (with the implication being that knowing anything about the author would somehow cheapen the story - lmao), I do somewhat understand where they're coming from. while colorblindness is certainly not the solution, it would be ideal if nobody had to think much about hitting any kind of quota in regards to their reading habits. and I'm certainly not advocating for anything that strictly structured! but if so many people can't name a single Black woman who's written a book, then we need to acknowledge that there's a reason for that, and that not all authors are being read equally, and that it takes an active effort to course correct something like that.
my hope is that, with time, readers broadening their horizons enough that they don't have to actively seek out Black women authors (or Black authors in general, or Asian authors, or Latine authors, or trans or Muslim or disabled or Jewish authors, or authors translated into English, and so on) because those authors and their works will become a natural part of their literary diet that no single author is a sole representative of any group or perspective and can be appreciated solely on the basis of their craft.
but maybe the first baby step, as you said, has to be googling "Black woman authors." and maybe that's a little tokenizing! but when we're beginning from the rock bottom position of people struggling to name a single Black woman author at all, you have to start somewhere. I'm really glad to see people actually getting excited to do the work, and I hope they don't stop at reading one (1) book by Yaa Gyasi or Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie because a tumblr post made them feel uncomfortable.
I hope that makes sense and is a satisfying answer!

Hearing about Shadowvanilla discourse (or any ancient x beast shipping discourse really) from one of the purgatory websites like TikTok or Twitter (I’m not calling that shit a single letter. He deadnames his child I deadname his website) is so fucking wild because like. This is some basic ass enemies to lovers. It’s not even that toxic. Like a 6 out of 10 at most. 4 out of 10 if we’re being realistic. 2.5 if you’re freaky.
Like they’re such fucking obvious ships too (except Dark Cacao x Mystic Flour. I respect it of course but that man has never had sex and if he did it was to create his son only. Can you fucking imagine how many tries that would take if you really just weren’t into it tho? He also doesn’t have the emotional space for romance he’s too busy standing there looking very serious. My Aroace king unless it’s funny. I’m getting off track-).
And y’all are getting DEATH THREATS??? Say fucking WHAT NOW! Maybe I just have too much of a life and touch too much grass but even getting a “hey that’s weird,” would be fucking perplexing. Yeah I like this because I like when stories have conflicts and themes, as stories are wont to do. I like when the narratives foils have even more to narratively foil about. This really is not hard to understand.
Like Shadowvanilla is fucking awesome, Burningcheese is right up my alley too, Eternalberry seems awesome but since we don’t actually have their interactions yet that’s only a hypothesis. All these make for super awesome stories I don’t see what the problem is. “It’s abusive!” I sure hope so? How’re we gonna get from bad to good if we don’t start at bad? I want a problem, a struggle, a climax, and then a resolution. I’m trying to read a story here, not a weather report.
Is it just that these are (mostly) child friendly pastry people so it’s probably mostly teenagers and tweens who are in the “forming identity and opinions” stage of their life that are starting this shit? I think it’s that. Anyway I haven’t used Twitter in literal years now and you could not pay me money to make a TikTok. Get off those websites they’re bad for the soul and the mind. Or don’t I’m not your dad.
Aaaaaaaanyway God x God + Enemies to Lovers + Soulmates + Narrative Foils is just me bait. Catnip for a lil freak like me. BTW if you like that check out hit indie game Cult of the Lamb. I promise you Shadowvanilla and Burningcheese shippers, there’s an 85% chance you’ll like it.
Edit: changed my mind. I ship Mysticcacao too now. Fuck with me.

Hien & Benichidori compilation
Okay so I put a & but this absolutely a shippy post, the hienichidori community is quiet af and there is no discourse but their comics in their Adventurer’s Bible profiles…!!! Many may ask, does Benichidori canonically have a crush on Hien?! Straightforward answer: It’s left heavily implied but yes. Alternate answer: If the framing of Falin in an explosion as Toshiro says that he loves her isn’t meant to associate the explosion with falling in love when it is mirrored in the next page, then… I think it’s a mix of both, I don’t think just this is true because Hien wouldn’t know who Shuro is talking about or even what Falin looks like, but it could be that the explosion is instead meant to show a world vision being shaken, the thing blowing you away. So for Hien, having Shuro say that breaks this unsaid assumption she’s always had that they might end up together, and thus Falin is taken like an explosion to the face. Similarly, for someone with facial dysmorphia and for who appearances and being subservient are everything, having Hien be confident and totally assume her plain looks, even uplifting herself, that also shakes her world like a bomb. And yes it’s not just about the makeup!! Benichidori’s drawn to her confidence, to her unapologetic attitude, to her attitude. Benichidori unexpectedly snapped at Hien too, but she was totally unshaken and she replied casually and lightheartedly even then; Benichidori saying she can be herself with Hien is about Hien not caring about her mask, both her makeup and her subdued demeanor. Hien is canonically special to Benichidori.
And on the note of that comic, I took a picture from my Adventurer’s Bible for this but I think the fantranslations I’ve seen are lovely too, really gets across all the meaning of the original sentence… Where Benichidori said "She was the only one I could be my unadorned self in front of" (which is my fave) or "I’m able to act my honest self with her". Benichidori having body(more specifically facial) dysmorphia is explicitly stated in the Adventurer’s Bible btw.
Pleasee how Hien’s extra is her talking about her life story and Toshiro to Benichidori… How Hien says "That guy is blind!" and Benichidori says "I’ve noticed that 😊" as if saying that Toshiro is blind to what a catch Hien is… Also in the ninja girls’ shared inn room Benichidori puts her futon next to Hien’s bed.

CW BULLYING, LITERALLY IMMATURE HIGH SCHOOL DRAMA, SUB POSTING.
Tumblr media
hi nonnie, thank you for letting me know! since i’m leaving this blog & this platform for the foreseeable future i figured i might aswell get a few things off of my chest before i go. i apologise in advance for the vibes this post will probably bring, the discourse & the posts that will ofcourse follow, but i honestly i am not the first person to be targeted by this creator and i’m sure i won’t be the last considering the amount of creators that have been bullied off of this app by them.
first off i’ve had multiple blogs that would be considered bigger blogs such as @/hvnlydmn, @/atsymu + now this blog which is the biggest of all 3. i think there’s a sort of unspoken responsibility that comes with being a bigger blog which i know is no fun but it’s also because it can be super harmful on a site like this, when people weaponise their following.
on that note i’ll start this post by saying that i’ve known tee for probably around 3/4 years, maybe? we were mutuals on hvnlydmn & atsymu and we continued to talk on discord even when i was off of tumblr. i will honestly admit to this day i have never had a negative interaction with tee to my face and she was genuinely supportive of me during any discourse i was involved in. i am not some angel, i’ve had my fair share of crap on this app (of my own doing) but this post is not meant to come across like “oh she doesn’t like me so i’m calling her out” no. im sorry if this doesn’t line up with my brand and my ‘victim complex’ but i’m not gonna lie down and let someone on a power trip on a hobby app drag me through the mud.
first off i had began to get some off vibes from tee when i had started writing on garoujo, notably when i’d just hit my first milestone which was probably around 1k. during this i had decided to move my instagram theme from my main blog to my writing blog.
i’d noticed tee subposting (on main and on her personal blog which i followed at the time) about someone basically using the same theme as her, which after then clicking onto her blog i realised was an instagram theme. i didn’t think much of it, again me & tee were friends and she hadn’t came to me directly so ignored it. i was still a new blog and trying to solidly an aesthetic (before the beige lol) so i changed my theme / masterlists / layouts a lot.
a few more sub posts later i decided to message tee about it because with every thing i’d change / post on my blog, there always seemed to be another post. so i messaged her and got this response in: (i’ve blurred out my irl name btw) open up pics for convo!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
so i let it slide, kept posting & that was that. probably a few days / a week later, tee had soft blocked me which then eventually led to me being hard blocked. i was upset ofcourse because i genuinely considered tee a good friend but i’ve always been a big advocate in controlling your space.
this was when, one of our mutuals in common (the first of many may i add) approached me on discord to say that just like now, i was being ripped to shreds on tee’s personal blog:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
again i was notably upset about this because i was being accused of not only copying her theme but also her writing & masterlists, we did have a lot of mutuals in common so it was also upsetting knowing they would all be seeing these posts aswell. i allowed myself one sub post about “creating a narrative” because i was particularly frustrated but tee then also subposted about this, even though she had me blocked?
i would also like to say regarding our mutuals in common that this was not the first or last mutual to approach me regarding tee. i’ve had multiple people tell me that “they’re only mutuals with her because it would be more damaging not to be” “it’s easier to be on her side”. also i am not saying this is okay but i’ve had multiple of her current mutuals send me not only her posts, but screenshots of her private, personal instagram & also tell me about how all of them and their friends had a running joke / theory that tee made up her boyfriend (ex-boyfriend?) for attention.
regarding the accusations from tee i’d like to first comment on the instagram themes, again i had done an instagram theme on my main blog but it seemed to only be an issue when it was on my writing blog that was gaining traction. if the timing was off and it seemed like i copied her, i genuinely have nothing to say except it’s not the case— it’s instagram (which tee already admits she doesn’t own above) also the hanma writing? i’m still not 100% sure which drabbles she was referring to but i can only assume that 1. is when i posted a drabble about hanma fucking you outside of his subordinates house — this was a almost completely word by word rewrite of a suna drabble i done on my old blog @/atsymu i literally just changed the concept to fit tokyo revengers themes. i can post screenshots of this suna drabble also from my google docs dated February when i deactivated. the other one may have been some basic concept about him fucking you against the window.
she also mentions in the very first recent screenshot at the beginning of this post that i have apparently stolen concepts of fics / posts from her mutuals. what i want to say regarding this is, do you believe that i would have made it this far on stolen work? i don’t know any of the mutuals she’s referring to apart from 1 which i’ll get into. but every single accusation i’ve ever received has always come from someone associated or in contact with tee, she has always been at the root of it all but i have yet to receive a single anon or ask about me copying or taking inspiration from anyone’s work.
i know there was apparently a blog and an ex mutual of mine, who i had a lot of respect & time for who was under the impression i’d stolen their concept for this gojo fic. the whole premise of this fic is honestly not uncommon considering how many times people losing control of their techniques / powers / quirks during orgasm has been done in fanfiction. this concept was completely my own, i had originally posted shitposts about him losing control of his technique & also him putting you into a mating press / breeding before i’d decided to smoosh them together into a fic. we all read from the same workbook, we all have the same material to work off of — two people in a fanbase of THOUSANDS having a similar idea is not unheard of.
now onto the masterlist banners. the screenshot on the far left are the comparison photos that tee made herself— i’m sure you’ll be able to see them in better quality when she makes her own post about it; because obviously that’s going to come. first off i will say, i will admit i took inspiration from her official art masterlist banners — i thought hers looked good and i needed a masterlist so i used official art. fair game there although i only kept them for a few days before i changed again.
but onto the grey masterlist banners, i can honestly say i did not even know tee had this masterlist, also the only comparison i myself see is the colour. the only reason i chose grey was because i had started to use a grey / white overlay on my manga panels for my layout (as you can see far right), and as you know— i’ve always kept my colour scheme pretty consistent. on that note, regarding the actual layout of the masterlists— i’ve added screenshots from atsymu (that i could find due to it being deactivated) that shows the layout of my old masterlists, which was what i took inspiration from for my current. although the title font for each heading like headcanons is different, i had used the sort of old style, basic font that everyone uses before i had deactivated so it would match my fic headers i just don’t have photos obviously.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
anyway on the back of this there was then discourse over me apparently copying tee’s kinktober masterlist, which again was not the case. but again due to tee’s following i had received multiple death threats into my asks the morning after i posted mine. as far as i was aware, the only similarities were the fact we both used gifs in our headers & the layout listing thirsts, hcs & fics (which is very common during kinktober but i admitted below i could see that similarity). unfortunately during all of this discourse was when ffflowers, my hate blog also came into the mix which then lead to tee reaching out to me in dm’s from her old blog.
the interaction between me & tee was pretty good, again she was nothing but nice to me directly despite the way she obviously spoke about me in private above. but as you can see below, tee herself told me that basically most of the similarities all made above were brushed off as basic. we spoke about the ig themes & i apologised, saying i could understand where she was coming from and that was that. i unblocked her & she unblocked me so i could reblog her post, it’s been that way since.

it is not my place to comment on other people’s experiences on this app but i would need more than 2 hands to list the amount of people that i’m sure have had similar if not worse experiences with tee. i know i have had multiple mutuals who have been bullied off of this platform & had their safe space ripped from them for little things such as: liking a character that this group selfship with, tee and her friends not liking their characterisation. they’ve even went as far as to go through other larger creators notes to check for minors so they can make excuses as to why they’re thriving.
i also know of a blog who was ‘blacklisted’ from tee & her mutuals as they self shipped with arataki itto at the time, one of tee’s friends also did, so they blacklisted this creator and had all of their mutuals block them for this which then in turn drove this creator off the app. there has been other notably bitchy things that i’ve heard but i have no receipts for therefore i don’t see any relevance in starting rumours.
i would also like to say i know plagiarism is a horrible thing, we have all been through it— myself included but it’s got to the point where being accused of copying tee has become a canon event. notably, bigger platforms have been ruined and driven off of this app for little things such as mdni dividers, similar colours schemes etc. and it’s the reason i’m also leaving.
i will say i have met some amazing people through my discourse with tee, notably people who have been in similar situations and i also apologise to any mutuals who we still have in common who are now sort of stuck inbetween. no hard feelings. although to tee: id be careful of the people you trust because it seems the loyalties they have to you are not as sincere as you may believe. you can also go to her personal & read the other things she was saying about me like how she was always so ? at how many people seemed to like me.
so that’s all i have to say, i’m sure dash will get a few responses from this but i’ll be logging out & turning off asks because honestly? couldnt care less. the only thing i’d change about my experience on this app would be i wish i’d blocked tee sooner.
i’d say have a nice day, but instead, have the day you deserve.

i want you to know that this isnt coming from a place of shipping garak/ziyal like you seem to think. not being interested in one young lady doesn't mean he can't possibly be bi/pan/multisexual of some kind. and your response to all this has been really alarming and thoughtless headcanon what you like, cuz yeah a lot of this is based on beta canon + word of god, but you don't gotta be a dick to people who consider him multisexual. it comes across as biphobic, even if that isn't your intention. this whole thing isn't just you, there a lots of other people who INSIST garak MUST be gay and couldn't possibly be multisexual and it's really hurtful to bi people like me. so you've hit a nerve with people (i didnt even know this was in response to you at first, because this keeps happening btw) "being bi isn't more progressive than being gay" okay that you see this situation and come away with that says more about you. most people don't consider characters bi for progressive-ism or out of homophobia, you're putting words in our mouths and im geniuinely angry at you now. the proper response to all this is not to mock people, it's dismissive and mean spirited
I don't think garak is gay because he's not into ziyal? I straight up didn't say that. That's not why I think he's gay.
If you're bisexual and upset when a character without a defined sexuality is interpreted differently please remember that it is not personal because he ISNT bisexual. Or gay!! It is never touched on in the show!
Regarding the "progressive" comment,I was referring to anons from last night, not you. No one was mocked. I'm not insisting on anything or arguing with anyone's headcanons. I just have my own! I appreciate everyone's views. All I did was share a different opinion. You see yourself in Garak as a bi person, and I see myself in him as a gay person. Isn’t it cool we can both connect with the fictional lizard in a pushup bra? It is not serious.
I never meant to be dismissive or mean-spirited. I genuinely didn’t realize how deeply people cared about this. I’m not as involved in online fandom as most assume.
And jokingly disagreeing with Andrew J. Robinson doesn’t mean I’m disrespecting him.
I literally hc almost everyone in ds9 as bi. If I get any more silly discourse in my inbox I will be closing it.

I’ve seen a lot of discourse over the Jikook Car Convo. I think on the surface, it sent mixed signals. But if you think about what you know about Jikook and how important being together is to them…there might be a different way to look at it. Jungkook started off by saying something about how they were supposed to have a drink together (code for hang out), but didn’t …and it went on from there. And that’s where people got hung up at. I have a perspective on this based on a recent experience of my own.
Recently, my daughter and I decided to take a trip to Disney World because I had a business trip down there anyway. (Adult Disney is a blast btw. Great food, drinks, Epcot, Disney Springs, etc). On the car trip down we talked a mile a minute. During the trip we ate and drank and hung out. So fun! We literally said the words “it’s been so long since we’ve been able to just hang out. We haven’t gone anywhere fun together in a while. We’ve been so busy with work and just life in general. I’m glad we are taking time out to have some fun!” Interestingly….my daughter lives with me. I see her every day. But the trip was fun time spent together, not just the day-to-day stuff. We weren’t two ships passing in the night, two ultra busy people who work, eat, sleep and repeat. We were in the moment, having fun together, no distractions! (Yes, It’s a mom/daughter relationship instead of a couple relationship, but still. Spending quality FUN time together to nurture a relationship is important!)
I wonder if Jikook, who have since confirmed that they saw each other during that time (but clearly not enough)….meant that they hadn’t been taking much needed down time with each other, hadn’t been able to step out for some drinks or other fun for a while because they’ve both had opposing schedules and have just been so busy. I felt like Jungkook was sort of admonishing Jimin for being too busy to have fun…but then admitted that he had also been too busy…that if it wasn’t for deciding to MAKE TIME and take this trip, they might have just continued being too busy to prioritize quality time with each other. Then he said “You’re here. Finally”. Like that boy breathed a sigh of RELIEF!
That’s what I think this convo meant. Its NOT that they didn’t see each other, because I’m betting they saw each other all of the time, but that they didn’t make time to have fun with JUST each other like they usually do.
And here’s the deal. You don’t end up going on MORE trips, saying you want to do a travel show together until your fifty, and enlisting together where you will be together every single day for 18 months….with someone you were not close with and never saw prior to this convo. You don’t go from “no longer close” to this 👇 in a day.
Tumblr media
Nope. So I think the car convo was them sort of lamenting that they had been so busy and had made the mistake of not taking the time for each other that they deserved. Listen, Jikook are normal humans who love each other, but let their crazy busy schedule get in the way. Very unusual for them I think. But they finally said ENOUGH, and decided to make time, steal time, whatever, just to prioritize themselves as a unit. I loved the show. I saw lots of domestic moments, lots of fun/giggly moments, some 👀 and 🫣 moments….but most of all, I saw happiness. I saw love. And THAT makes me happy. So anyone that says Jikook aren’t close or that they don’t love each other….pfft. 🙄

ok I think my main issue with many Ka/taang shippers is that they just…refuse to take ownership of their fandom experience. By which I mean they continue to engage with Zutara works, Zutara fanon, Zutara discourse etc, and get mad about it and pick fights about it.
I came across a comment by a Ka/taang shipper (on a thread where nobody mentioned Aang btw) in the wild who says they really dislike the way Aang is portrayed in Zutara fics. Fair enough. Here’s the thing though: this person says they’ve read 30+ Zutara fics!!!
you know how many KA fics I’ve read? Zero. I have no idea what fanon Ka/taang dynamics are like, what the headcanons are, or what shippers like about the ship. Because I don’t need every single person in a very large fandom to agree with my interpretation of certain characters, even if I think I’m right, and I don’t seek out their opinions and their creations.
Like…I don’t think it’s that hard to 1) respect other people in fandom, but more importantly 2) respect your own peace of mind and enjoyment. You’ll be happier if you block things you don’t want to see, I promise.

Do you ship it?- RPF edition!
Heya gamers- do you like rpf? If so, send in a ship and we’ll see what others think!
Inspired by @do-you-ship-it-polls but not associated with them!
Also check out @new-proshipping-polls!
RULES
NO DISCOURSE REGARDING RPF ITSELF. If you don’t like rpf, please just block this blog and move on with your day. I won’t engage in any discourse, but any hate sent to me will be deleted and anyone being a dick in the notes of a poll will be blocked. This is meant to be a positive space
This should go without saying but nothing pedophilic or involving minors in general. Also, no incest (I’m personally uncomfortable with it but if you ship it yall are fine idc)
Originally I had a rule about no ultra-pieces of shit but then I started getting a lot of Stalin yaoi so honestly no rules anymore. I’ll decline things that make me personally uncomfortable tho
Don’t just submit some of your friends or random people you know irl
Regarding MCYT ships: I’ll be polling based on the content creators and NOT the characterized versions they play. If you ship the content creators, then send them my way! But if you just ship the characters, then don’t submit them here
I literally always screw up when getting pictures or writing names btw sorry gang
I don’t have discord so if you submit an image that’s a discord link odds are I probably won’t be able to access it, so I’d rather you use other image sources. If you really want to use that image and can’t find another way, just dm it to me.
Also: the key word in “real person fiction” is “fiction.” In the end, we all need to acknowledge that these ships aren’t real (and if the people in question are together irl, understand that their relationship is different than how it is in your head). These are fictionalized versions of celebrities and we shouldn’t intrude on their personal lives by harassing them or their loved ones- especially their partners. No matter what side of the argument you’re on for rpf, just be civil and respectful and we’ll all be fine!
SUBMISSIONS
And here’s the google sheet for this blog! Submissions in green have been posted, submissions in grey are posts that have been queued, submissions in yellow are ones with an image link I can’t access so are on hold, and submissions in red are ones I’ve rejected for any reason (the last column is one I’ve added to explain why). This is manually updated by me, so don’t expect this to be accurate 100% of the time.

hello—i have a question to ask, and i figured it’d be better to do it here than to bother an individual artist about this. (sorry in advance for bringing the mood down w/ a serious question, btw.)
so, i’ve seen posts going around lately where people are like “hey, stop being explicit about sonadow, it’s weird”. and i agree that making explicit comments on sfw work is not cool. forcing the creator to see stuff that might make them uncomfortable is rude. /gen
however, if the characters are explicitly stated to be aged up (like, have lived several years beyond the games) or are in an au where they’re older, is that still bad? /genq because i always thought that the authors/artists were specifically going out of their way to say “we’re actively not wanting to make these pieces about children, we just want to see these two personalities and how they would behave in nsfw situations”.
sorry again. i’m just very confused (and a bit scared by the hostility /nm) and was hoping that i could maybe get some clarification.
(btw, thanks to all the artists on this blog for making such cute art. it’s all really nice stuff.)
Hi there. This isn't the type of thing we would typically address here, but your approach tells me that you're looking to learn and understand, so I'll give you my thoughts.
First of all, to address hostility - it's intimidating and intense, because this is the kind of thing that fires people up. We're not exempt from this, because we do not want to see explicit content about minors, and we will be direct about this fact. And for some reason, some people get very offended when you tell them this.
I'm going to respond to you in good faith, and I don't assume any bad intentions on your part.
On aging characters up. I will be specifically talking about the sonic franchise as my example here, but this applies to any series where the focus characters are children.
Sonic and Shadow are kids. They are teenagers. Age discourse is NOT relevant. They are depicted as teenagers, they act like teenagers, and they are meant to be viewed as teenagers. And so this begs the question: why is there a need to see them in adult situations? Why is there a drive to depict minors in explicit situations?
Even if a creator is theoretically not making a piece about minors, when they choose to age up minor characters, that tells me that they thought about those minors in explicit situations, or that they wanted to see those minors in those situations, but needed a way to justify it.
This is why I fundamentally disagree with aging characters up to put them in adult situations. The core characters are children. Wanting to see a child character in explicit situations so badly that there is a need to justify it by aging them up or making an au or whatever is strange and disturbing, and I personally would not want to associate with someone who does that kind of thing.
Reflect on the issue yourself. All I can do is explain my reasoning, and say that I will choose not to associate with people who make and/or consume content of minor characters in explicit situations.
I appreciate that you want to learn. I am answering this question specifically because of the way you asked it, and that I see this as a way to tell you why we think certain things, and why we vehemently disagree with certain types of content. To others reading this, this post is NOT an invitation to discourse with us. I will not be arguing about ages or logistics or whatever. Do not try to convince me that nsfw of minor characters is okay, you'll get blocked immediately.

Blog Rules & Info!
HELLO I am Niko, tho I also go by Never and Cheesecake!!! He/they pronouns!!!!! I love UTMV/Undertale/Deltarune and that will mostly be what I post about and reblog!
I also like: Slay the Princess, Hannibal (the show/series), TGWDLM/Black Friday/NPMD The Stanley Parable, Percy Jackson, The Owl House, Amphibia, Rainworld, Gravity Falls, The Amazing Digital Circus, Welcome Home, Warrior Cats, Wings of Fire, Pokémon, Pressure, FNAF, Just Shapes & Beats, Sanders Sides, Dandy's World, Niche: A Genetics Survival Game, and a whole bunch of other things :333
I love asks!!!!!! My inbox is almost always open, feel free to send questions/requests to me or my characters :3
Asks are answered in the order they are received. Do not pressure me to do any project or request, you will get a warning the first time and get blocked the second. This is a hobby that I do for free, if you want me to prioritize a request then we can talk about commissions^^
Commissions
Absolutely zero NSFW, racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, LGBTQ+ hate, or general unkindness.
I am a minor.
I’m not comfortable with most ships considered “proship,” including involving any form of incest, nonconsensual sexual/romantic actions, or large age gaps. This includes but is not limited to Fontcest, Dreammare, and Frans. This means please don’t tag/mention me in any of this content, use any of my characters in this content, or generally involve me in it; I consider all of this content 18+ and should be treated as such. I will not block people exclusively based on “proship or antiship,” but on my personal opinion on them and whether or not they make me uncomfortable. Harassing people based on fictional ships is not okay, and neither is exposing others (especially minors) to sensitive/inappropriate content.
can you tell that I am sick and tired of this discourse.
Additionally, the above only applies to fictional ships. Any irl instances of incest, extreme age gaps, nonconsensual romantic/sexual content, abuse, or any related topics is of course absolutely awful.
I’m sorry for the serious stuff btw, this is generally a lighthearted and silly blog— just wanted to set clear boundaries^^
