jirai here who is also broke. you are jirai if you identify as such — no one can take away from your life or the struggles you lead. Anything you wear is “jirai”. that being said, you prolly want to get into stuff like subcul/dark girly, yes?

I recommend the @/jirai-info-archive for info on DIY and items you can fashion together. It’s unfortunately expensive rn and you’d have to do a lot of sewing if you want your own stuff. My suggestion is to aim for “one” fit at a time by planning it out so you know where your money will go.

I know I’ll get hate for this, but Aliexpress is very much a real option for clothes, and the quality is actually decent too for dupes IMHO and great for sizing… I heard about SHEIN but have zero experience with it nor can I comfortably recommend it due to Ughyr Muslim abuse.

So TL;DR you are a real jirai no matter what; but Aliexpress is great if you can’t order from Japan especially due to shipping! Finally, be kind to yourself, and remember the original jirai were dog shit broke. We’re in it together. Sending lots of love!
