Meanwhile today’s English POV-Only brainrot is actually funny for once, and it’s because every Foolish-only viewer I’ve seen has been like “Cellbit’s gonna be soooooo angry/sad over losing his Employee of the Month title!! 🤣🫣”

Meanwhile everyone who watches Cellbit’s pov is like “He’s going to be so happy because he lost his Employee of the Month title!!”

I think we all remember him seeing that poster for the first time after realizing he’d been played for over a month by the Federation aka his Literal Worst Enemy and him shouting and swearing and quitting Minecraft and him opening it the next day and seeing the poster and just losing it, he was so infuriated.

He’s kinda just been playing his excitement over it up in front of Foolish and other Federation Employees like Fred because, well. He’s undercover! The Feds literally all seem to think he’s pro-Federation at this point, and, while Foolish knows better, Cellbit also knows that Foolish is one of the guys most likely to leak information to Cucurucho. (He’s the most obvious one, anyway.) And, when Foolish heard about Employee of the Month and when he immediately started being like “Oh yeah? Well! I’m gonna get it next month, pal, okay??”, Cellbit probably decided it’d be a good idea to let Foolish think he wanted the position if only because Foolish would inevitably let Cucurucho know that Cellbit wanted it.

And we saw this yesterday! Foolish saw the poster with his face on it and he shouted many, many times, “Take that, Cellbit!!!”, thus implying that Cellbit was still trying to become Employee of the Month and that he and Foolish were competing for it. That tells Cucurucho and the Federation that Cellbit is still a loyal employee despite them not giving him any work to actually do basically for the entire month of September after the eggs’ disappearances.

So, yeah, Cellbit might hear the news and he might play up being upset about it when out where the Feds/Foolish can see and hear him reacting, but he’s probably gonna get to somewhere out of sight and do a happy little dance or something because, really, if he had a choice he wouldn’t be working for the Feds at all

NINE SOLS SPOILERS BELOW!! They’re minor non-story spoilers, but I said I’d put a warning anyway, so turn away if you don’t want to deal with it

General Yingzhao flipping sucks coming off a long break of combat games. He’s literally the first real boss of the game and because I haven’t played a video game where parrying is a REQUIRED mechanic in almost three years my skill flipping sucks and I’ve spent a cumulative two and a half hours just trying to consistently get to phase two.

I mean I get his first phase attack pattern really well but I just can’t parry consistently enough to avoid getting absolutely combo-womboed. And when I get comboed I get flipping COMBOED and there’s just nothing I can do but take it.

I “don’t” (I actually do) look forward to the next bosses of the game because I just want my parrying ability to not suck for once lol.

This lowkey sounds angry but I genuinely am so excited for the rest of the game once I can get to it. And it’s purely because this is the first game in a long while where I’ve actually enjoyed how stinking difficult the game is. The story is still confusing for now but I’m just here for the ride with my boy Yi.
