I think I might watch Ergo Proxy because I’m easily lured in by somber, black-haired anime girls - I’ll admit it lmao. But beyond that, do you think a Berserk/Soulsborne fan in particular would dig the themes and tone of the show? It looks a bit grim and I like that.

PLEASE watch Ergo Proxy, I recently rewatched after 10 years and it launched me into an obsession over it, it’s a fantastic anime, especially its character writing imo. (And Re-l is one of the two main characters so you will be seeing a lot of her!)

But in general, yes I think they would (I haven’t read Berserk myself so I’m speaking purely as a Soulsborne fan here) kinda like souslborne games, It’s overall pretty dark and heavy, with a lot of death all around but still comes across as hopeful, and also not afraid to get weird with some of its episodes.

It will reward you for paying attention to small details and picking up on symbolism, and can start off as rather confusing, but that’s because a major part of the plot is the characters themselves seeking out the truth (even if it won’t necessarily make them happy) It’s a name that often pops up when talking about “dark and philosophical” anime, and it sometimes gets accused of being pretentious, but it has the substance to back it up so I actually love that.

The basic plot is that the surface of the earth has become uninhabitable, and humanity is confined to massive domed cities. Within one of these cities, a mysterious “monster” awakens. Our two main characters are Vincent Law, an immigrant from another dome who always seems to be there whenever it shows up, and Re-l Mayer, a member of the intelligence bureau who encounters it, but quickly finds that anything pertaining to it is covered up, and she gets treated as insane for claiming she saw it. Which begins their journey to find the truth of what this “monster” is, what purpose it holds, what’s going on outside the dome, etc.

With all the recent retirement buzz I keep imagining a Maxiel au where Max was never even a driver at all. He ends up being a red bull athlete in some other category, like winter sports or something. (We operate on the rule of cool and goddamnit do those skiing/snowboarding videos look cool) Anyways Daniel ends up *peacefully* retiring, maybe with a couple WDCs, having either stayed with red bull or gone back at the end.

He keeps posting on his social media, and still does some brand things with Red Bull, so people end up noticing that after staying with his family for a bit he’s fucked off somewhere into the mountains with this random snowboarder guy showing up in half his photo and video dumps. (“Come on, Daniel, this one is not very steep you will be fine.”)

He ends up going back home for a while at some point, teaches Max to ride the dirt bikes, of course documenting the whole thing. Some observant fans start to notice that snowboarder guy and Daniel’s biking friend are the same guy.

Cue research into who the hell this guy is, one or the other shows up on the other’s family member’s social media post, fans are obsessed. Big sappy reveal at some Red Bull press event, happy ever after.

I LOVE IT WHEN PEOPLE INCORPORATE IPHONE FEATURES/FACTS INTO THEIR MEPHONE DESIGNS!!!!!!! I love love love when people make the mephones act more like robots and dont make them actual humans. Or give them screens as faces. Or like, as I previously stated, incorporate fun features into their designs and stories that reflect irl iphones!!!

Like the Iphone4 was the first iphone to have a front-facing camera! So do the Mephones see out of their cameras or their screens? If they see out of their screens, how does the crack impact their vision? Do the Mephones have to charge? If so, how? Can they power down to sleep or does it have to happen naturally? Are 3GS (and his predecessors) worse at multi-tasking than 4 is? Because the Iphone4 was the first to implement that feature!!

On that note, one of my little headcanons is that Mephone (and 3GS) have Visual Snow Syndrome because their cameras are older. AHHH its just so fun and AHHHH joyous!!! -2G Anon

Noelle x Stray

Cat Noelle fits so well with Stray that I had to draw her in the game with B12 and the cute little backpack🐱🩷🩵 This started off as a fun sketch for a different project but I decided to fully render it.

Stray is another one of my favorite games and I absolutely LOVE the aesthetic of it, I know surprisingly. The aesthetics of Hogwarts legacy🧙‍♀️💫 🔮🏰 and Stray🌃💽🐱👾 are the two vibes that constantly battle in my head cause I love them both so dearly but are complete opposites😭😭😭

I have a soft spot for both of the other death episode teachers, even though I wouldn’t really consider Stain Edwards a traditional teacher, I’ve always loved claymation and I do not tolerate Stain Edwards’s slander (/hj), I almost wish Tissue Box had a bigger role too, I adore her voice ~^~

And I’ll always have love for that horrible, horrible bug, Shrignold, love themed stuff has always appealed to me, I know my whole blog is punk and cool and metal but I am truly one of the worst hopeless romantics at heart, I also love the story I have for them in my au, honestly the love cult truly is just peak

Have I ever mentioned how much I fucking LOVE robots?? Like oh my god every time I see a robot I’m like THAT’S A ROBOT!!! And it’s instant serotonin for my little brain.

This is Scrapheap, basically I made it for a cyberpunk rp server my friend made, and it’s like a janitor robot who was made to clean a rich person’s mansion but then it malfunctioned or something like that, I’m not entirely sure yet cause I’m still working on it, but it was tossed out onto the streets and now it’s tryna figure out how to live a life full of partying and fun while also being extremely poor and scrounging for whatever change it can find lying around.

oh!!!! well. honestly. let you in on a little secret, reason why I keep drawing him is cuz I just. like drawing his design a totally normal healthy amount

but!!! I do have some hcs for him yes uhhh

since activation he has been a loyal bot. his first priority is Always following sunstar’s orders, he is unflinchingly devoted it’s almost concerning??

the reason he gets like this is during a particularly brutal battle, he is damaged badly and loses his left (our right) arm. he calls out for help but none of his fellow stardroids seem to hear him (they’re too far away and engaged in their own battles). he prepares himself to die and just as he’s about to be struck down sunstar saves him!!! he was loyal before then but it became worse after this event 😭

this is also how he gets his other arm, it was initially meant to be a replacement but he grew attached to it (also I headcanon that it can extend and stretch out and it’s length can vary)

aside from all that, he has some stuck up selfish qualities (duh) and views all the other starbots as slightly lesser than him, sunstar is the only one who he views as above him

his hair wasn’t always long! the only organic-like part of his body is his hair, it can grow and he has to maintain it constantly

unlike sunstar, he doesn’t eventually view what he’s doing as wrong, he truly believes that everything he does is correct and takes full pride in all of his actions, no matter how questionable (sunstar regretting some of his actions is what causes terra to eventually change although he’s reluctant to

I’d say the other droid he’s closest with is pluto! bonding over hair/fur care and all that. terra tries to maintain a decent relationship with all of the stardroids though

• Breath catching, you go still at the sink and the wet plate in your hands slips from your fingers to shatter on the floor. Staring as the thing dragging itself across your yard goes out of sight. What the heck did you just see? And it didn’t just crawl in your open garage, did it? Not really sure, you pick up the half finished glass of wine on the counter and tip it into the sink with the soapy water. You know better. That this is exactly how those idiots in the horror movies die as you grab a broom and head toward the door that leads down into the garage. Turning the knob and cracking the door, you can hear something moving around down there. Common sense screaming at you to run instead of leaning in to look.

• Dragging himself further into the shelter he found, he finally touches his side and feels the wet, warm energon he’s bleeding. He’s had close calls before, though. Always comes through. Knows the other Vehicons have a running joke about how many times he should have offlined by now. Like when Megatron had chucked him off the Nemesis. He’d survived that, he can survive anything. Sure. Head lifting as something breaks, he growls a low warning when he spots the little organic standing at the top of the stairs with its pitiful weapon.

• It’s a robot. A big, weird looking alien robot bleeding glowing stuff on the concrete. And a childish part of yourself is absolutely delighted, remembering The Iron Giant and Short Circuit, while the rest of you is trying to remember what the Terminator theme sounds like. Because this giant is as likely to crush you as be friendly. And its flickering visor stares at you before its head swings toward the road. Starts trying to drag itself deeper into your garage and you tear your eyes from it to the road, seeing a big semi truck idling slowly along. Is it in trouble? Hiding?

• “Don’t,” he snarls when you start down the stairs and you set the weapon aside, holding up your empty hands. You’re either deaf, fearless, or dumb. Not that he trusts you at all, engine grumbling as loudly as he dares with the Autobot so close. And you flatten yourself against the wall to scoot past him, keeping just out of reach. Tensing as you get to the opening, he waits for you to bolt. Knows it’ll get the Prime’s attention. That his luck has finally ran out.

• Biting your lip and hoping you’re not making a terrible mistake, you hit the button to close the garage door. Aware of the thing staring at you, still growling. And it scoots itself, a leg dragging and you freeze. Because now you can’t squeeze by without getting within grabbing range. Its head tips, visor still flickering and you lift a hand. “Hi,” you say, realizing you’re trapped. Now you remember the Terminator theme.

• Had you just protected him? Why? Moving slowly, he lifts his own hand to mimic your greeting and you bare your little teeth at him. Are you smiling? Painfully shifting to get his back against the wall, he lays his head back. Watching you edge closer to him. You’re no threat, too little to hurt him. Gritting his denta behind his mask, he vents softly.

Luigi sits at his desk, long fingers flying across the keyboard of his laptop. You’ve been sitting on the bed for the past hour and a half, playing games on your phone while he navigates some intricate coding for his robotics project. His posture is relaxed, but his mind clearly runs at a hundred miles an hour.

The slight furrow in his brow makes him look impossibly focused and the glasses perched on his nose only add to his allure. Their sleek frame suits him perfectly, somehow defining his sharp jawline even further.

You glance at time on your phone and sigh, willing yourself to roll out of his bed. You shift into your shoes, leaning over to tie them. “I’m heading out,” you call to him, rising and slinging your bag over your shoulder.

He doesn’t look up at first, but you notice the corners of his mouth twitch in acknowledgement.

“Okay,” he replies, voice low. “Be careful.”

You stroll over to him, standing by his side for a moment, just taking him in. The way his glasses reflect in the screen’s light make him seem even more brilliant than usual. Leaning down, you pace a soft kiss on his cheek, the faint scent of his musk filling your senses.

His lips shift subtly with a slight turn of his head, seeking yours without breaking his concentration. His eyes are still flued to the screen, but the faintest curve of a pout forms on his lips–a complaint to your hasty goodbye.

You chuckle, indulging him and catching his lips with yours in a slow kiss. The soft click of the keys stops for a moment, and you can feel his faint smile against your lips. You pull away.

“You’re distracting me,” he murmurs, pulling his eyes away from the screen to glance at you, before looking back at the screen. The blush dusting his cheeks gives him away.

“I don’t hear you complaining,” you counter, giving his hair a playful ruffle. His hands reach up to adjust his glasses with a soft sigh.

“Text me when you get there,” he says. A grin spreads across his face. His voice is level and calm, but you know better–you’ll be on his mind until you’re back.

As you walk out the door, you glance over your shoulder one last time. He’s already back at work, glasses slipping slightly down the bridge of his nose, making him look even more unfairly hot. You can’t help but sigh as you open the door.

There’s something very nice about the thought of just being a regular person (since that’s the majority of us) and still being able to catch the eye of someone like that. Not because you’re some supermodel/damsel/rich or whatever, but because you’re you and that’s what he loves about you the most

(I bought a motorcycle around the time I drew these and thought it would be funny to just be like “yeah so remember how I told you I got a bonus at work?”)
