there are a lot of evil people in the world and a lot of darkness in the world and so it’s very important for me to stress that now more than ever is the time to spread kindness and compassion. combat the evil by not only not partaking in it, but actively refuting it. destroy the notion that being compassionate or generous or kind to someone is uncool or embarrassing or even scary. be the change you want to see. start a chain reaction. positivity only breeds more positivity. do an act of kindness for someone so that that person who is too afraid to do it themselves can see you, realize that they’re not alone, and perhaps sheepishly follow your example. and then the next person who is too afraid but sees that person can do the same. when bad news comes out about bad people or horrible atrocities in the world it’s such an easy impulse to despair, and obviously it’s important to feel what you need to feel. grieve. be angry. be sorrowful. be empathetic. but dust off your pants and get up and be a part of a chain reaction that, no matter how small the scale, and spread compassion and love and care. all the reasons why you might not—“it’s hard! it’s scary! people will make fun of me! it’s useless because there’s too much evil!” are all grade A arguments as to why you should. you have no idea how many people you could inspire to do the same. even if it doesn’t get you anyway far, you can at least say you have the nobility of trying. please choose love and please choose life. you are worth loving and you are worth inspiring others to love

So, I hope that is enough. It’s just, in the back of my mind (and you can 100% tell me if I'm spewing bullshit right now), like uh- but in the back of mind I thought it's better to raise money for humanitarian relief then it is to just not stream, right? That was like, my train of thought, but if that's obviously fucking bullshit just tweet it at me and tell my that’s fucking bullshit and I can just go offline, that’s fine, that’s not a issue at all. ‘Cuz you know like, I just thought like,

On my alt I've been very, vocal, about my opinions on the genocide and everything like that. And I've been a massive supporter of Palestine for a while and I've been donating privately a lot to lots of charities and causes that, I, care personally a lot about e.g. helping children, for example. And medical supplies, clean drinking water, stuff like that.

Uh and I thought, rather than just not streaming. I would, just donate all money, that I make this week. Hence I, uploaded a YouTube video this week, hence, we’ve been running ads on the channel this week and all that. I thought I would donate all that money, because hopefully, because I don’t want to like, have to ask money from you because I don’t- I don’t want- I don't know everyone in the chat's financial situation. I'm like if I can raise money, without costing the viewer money, it's a no-brainer. Because I'm in a privileged enough position to donate literally, all money I make.

So, I hope that is satisfactory, like if it’s not, obviously, I can have a scrape through my indirects and just tell me, ‘Bro that’s fucking bullshit, just don’t stream,’ I’m totally open to that. Like again, I’m not the smartest- I'm a Minecraft streamer, I’m not the smartest fucking guy- so if I fucked up, let me know.

But I just- I thought rather than, not streaming this week, I'll just use my platform to raise money and donate it to noble causes. Is that chill?

New Trolls Zine Interest Check

In light of finding put that there was a Trolls zine (I think about Broppy specifically?) circulating on Twitter/X, I’m beginning preparations for a new zine focused on folks here on Tumblr. I was disappointed to find out about it after their applications were closed and I wasn’t able to participate and I know I’m not alone. If you are in any way interested to see this zine get off the ground, please reblog so others don’t find out too late like I did!

I don’t have a name picked out yet but the theme I’m proposing is: relationships (i.e. family, friends, romance, even pets). I wanted a theme that could allow for characters and dynamics more than just romantic ships and would set it apart from the Broppy-centric zine currently running (but also could still include some Broppy, as its a main ship).

I am also looking for anyone interested in joining solely as a moderator, about 2-3 people preferably. As this is my first time running a zine, anybody with experience running a zine and/or working with the digital files would be a great help! You can mark on the survey that you’d like to be a mod or message me. If there is also enough interest from fanfic authors, we will need beta readers to apply later to help with editing.

I don’t care if it’s a witty joke, a statement of self pity, an absurd idea, something imposible, anything. If you’re arospec, acespec or aroacespec, or none. I wanna know, what drives you? What motivates you? What makes you feel passionate?

I think it’s a good idea to spread positivity around the community.

My own dream is to create. To inspire. I’m passionate about learning new things, analyzing every thought, every idea that someone else has said and create something new about that. Currently I’m working on my thesis and I’ve been able to create and tell a “story” (I’m being dramatic, the topic is actually a very nerdy thing from international law), and it has given me something to look forward to every day: to write and create and letting my mind go to wherever it wants to go freely.
