delay on the runway
for @steddiemicrofic prompt ‘delay’
rated t | 408 words | no cw | tags: modern au, rockstar Eddie, lawyer Steve, strangers to lovers (implied), open ending but assume they’re gonna be deeply in love by the end of the flight, first meetings
🛩️🛩️🛩️🛩️🛩️🛩️🛩️🛩️🛩️🛩️
“We’re sorry for the delay. They’re quite backed up on the runway, but we should be on our way in the next ten minutes.”
The pilot’s voice is loud over the speaker, but Steve’s grateful to hear it. They’ve been sitting on the tarmac for almost 30 minutes after a two hour delay before boarding. He’s already missed his connection and he just hopes that whatever hotel he spends the night in has hot water and decent snacks.
“Nervous about the flight?” The guy next to him asks.
He’s definitely not who Steve usually ends up next to in first class, that’s for sure. Long hair, torn jeans and hoodie, dark circles under his eyes, tattoo just visible on his neck. Steve’s buttoned shirt and slacks look comical next to him.
“Not really,” he answers. “Frequent flyer. Just missed my connection. Won’t be home until tomorrow afternoon now.”
The man nods, gives him a very charming smile, and puts his headphones in.
Just when Steve thinks they’ll go back to ignoring each other, the guy speaks again.
“Normally, I take the band plane. My uncle needed an emergency surgery and he’s a stubborn old man and refused a temporary aid so I had to fly home and make sure he didn’t try to lift his body weight or anything. And then the weather made it so only commercial flights could come and go and I have to be New York by seven in the morning. Which is hopefully happening now, but who knows.”
Steve blinks at the guy.
“Eddie. Sorry, should’ve started there.”
Steve laughs. “Steve. Is your uncle doing okay?”
Eddie’s mouth opens, he removes his headphones, and laughs. “Sorry. You’re asking about my uncle?”
“Yeah…you said he needed emergency surgery,” Steve explains, biting his lip. His hearing’s not great over the plane engines, but it can’t be that bad. “Right?”
“I did. It’s just, I figured the band plane part would grab your attention more.”
“I’ll get to it,” Steve winks. “But your uncle. He’s okay?”
Eddie nods. “He’s better than expected. Thanks.”
“For?”
“Asking. What’s got you in first class, Steve?” Eddie removes his headphones as he turns his body towards him, grinning ear to ear.
“I was supposed to be traveling with a client,” Steve gestures to Eddie’s seat. “He has to travel tomorrow instead. Now I have you.”
“Lucky me.”
Eddie’s eyes bore into Steve’s as he smirks.
“I’m feeling pretty lucky myself.”

You guys know MK will like… kill people. Right? You guys know that he’s not a blubbering little baby who insists on “being the bigger person” even in the face of everything he loves being destroyed??
And he has directly killed someone before.
Because she was threatening to destroy the world and kill his friends?
Tumblr media
You guys know MK likes fighting. Right? MK from the very start has enjoyed fighting. Still enjoys fighting. Has always loved beating the tar out of his enemies. In the Calabash episode, one aspect of his “perfect life” was a very notable panel of the entire Demon Bull Family beaten to a pulp and sidelined- explicitly told to him that he was responsible for driving them away. Because MK liked fighting from the start.
You guys know that MK; who only starts having reservations about this behavior in season five, enjoys being violent. Right?
So much so that he threw Azure through Flower Fruit Mountain long after he had beaten him into degradation, even though he had dozens of other targets to aim at?
You guys do realize that MK was entirely in control of himself during this sequence, and was choosing all his actions?
And he chose to hurt Azure as bad as possible in revenge for being deceived?
Tumblr media
You guys understand that he’s not like… a little blubbering baby who runs off to throw tantrums when he engages with basic violence? That MK understands that sometimes fighting is necessary and won’t fall apart the second he learns that people sometimes have to settle things physically?
You guys understand that MK has never held the use of violence against anyone, and has never blamed his friends or family or mentor for needing to engage in violence to protect themselves and their loved ones, right?
Right??
Right??
Right???

Tumblr media
Despite being quite far from the pit lane, you could hear nothing but the deafening roar of the engines, the clatter of tools on Kimi's car, and the curses of the race engineers at the constant stunts Seb had decided to pull during the free practice session.
Your husband's red car seemed not just to race but to fly around the track. FP2 had started barely twenty minutes ago, but Seb had already come within inches of crashing into the walls far too many times after going off track more often than you could count.
You couldn't deny that you had loved watching Seb race ever since you met and you learned he was a driver in one of the most dangerous sports in the world. Today, however, luck was not on your side, and anxiety was consuming you. The nausea, uncontrollable on its own, felt even worse than usual. Not to mention, you felt on the verge of a panic attack.
"Are you okay?"
You turned at the sound of Riccardo Adami’s voice, Seb’s race engineer. The Italian removed one side of his headset and covered the microphone to ensure the driver wouldn’t hear anything.
"Yes, yes, of course," you replied hastily, forcing a smile and suppressing the urge to gag as you felt it rising in your throat. "I’m just a bit more nervous than usual today, that’s all."
"Seb knows what he’s doing. Don’t worry about that."
You nodded, but as soon as Adami turned his attention back to his screen, you rolled your eyes and did the same.
"You know, sometimes he thinks that he’s a cat and has seven lives," you muttered under your breath. "Someone should remind him he’s in an actual Formula 1 car, not in a simulator."
"Don’t worry, I’ll remind him in the post-session briefing," the engineer joked, flashing a smile before immersing himself back into Vettel's driving.
You didn’t pay him much attention. Once again, you were entirely engrossed in both your husband’s onboard camera and the telemetry, even though you didn’t understand much aside from the fact that he was setting purple sectors, which was undoubtedly a good sign.
You didn’t know much about the inner workings of the cars, but after so many years with Seb, you knew that the faster his times were, the higher the risks became.
You were also acutely aware that your husband was pushing himself too hard in those moments.
You began to tremble slightly, fidgeting with your hands in an attempt to calm your anxiety, but it didn’t work. Instinctively, and trying not to draw much attention, you placed your hands on your belly and prayed that your child wouldn’t give you any scares like his father was giving you.
"Sector two in purple as well, Seb!"
Even though the garage erupted into cheers and applause, you remained motionless. Instead, you couldn’t take your eyes off the screen, which now showed your husband’s car in full view.
Your panic peaked the moment Seb lost control of the rear of his car and went off the track. You swore that if it hadn’t been for the sudden braking, he would have ended up in the barriers with a wrecked car and himself heading to the medical center because the crash would have likely exceeded the G-force limits.
When Seb didn’t respond immediately, your heart stopped.
"I’m fine, I’m fine..." Seb finally said in a disappointed tone. "But I can’t say the same for the car. I think it’s more damaged than it looks."
"Can you bring it back, Sebastian?" Riccardo asked in a tone that was a mix of irritation and disappointment.
"Yeah, no problem. Coming back. Sorry, guys."
Just as no one on the team said anything to you, you, who had forced yourself to sit down because your legs were trembling too much and you felt dizzy, also remained silent until your husband returned and got out of the car.
Seb removed his helmet, revealing an expression that was hard to decipher. You stood up carefully and approached him, trying to keep your composure. Without giving him a chance to say anything, you grabbed his hand and led him toward his driver room, ignoring Britta's protests to talk after interviews were done.
"It could have been worse, right?"
Sebastian closed the door behind him and turned to face you. You stood there with your arms crossed, visibly upset. Your glare alone was enough to tell Seb he was seconds away from one of your infamous scoldings.
The problem? He had no idea why. You had never acted so strangely over something as common as a collision during a race weekend.
“What the hell is wrong with you?!” you exploded, your voice filled with frustration. “Fuck, Seb, can you explain what that was all about?!”
“What do you mean, what was that? I was... racing, like I always do, babe,” he replied cautiously, still clueless about what he'd done wrong.
You, however, didn’t know what was bothering you more: your husband’s calm demeanor or the sight of a few Ferrari team members peeking through the window to catch the drama unfolding between the two of you.
“You were so close to slamming into a wall, Sebastian, that’s what happened!” you shot back, yanking the curtains shut and flipping off the nosy onlookers. “Are you out of your mind or what?!”
“Come on, love, I had it under control. What you saw on the onboard might’ve looked bad, but I swear it wasn’t as dangerous as it seemed.”
“Not as bad as it seemed? Are you seriously telling me that?” you retorted, your voice trembling with anger. “Do you think driving is just like playing a video game now? Do you have any idea what it would’ve meant if you hadn’t reacted in time? Do you know what it would’ve meant for me and for—”
You stopped yourself mid-sentence, refusing to continue.
You knew your emotions were running wild because of your pregnancy hormones, but you forced yourself to calm down. Getting so worked up would only lead to a pointless argument with Seb and wasn’t good for you or the baby.
“For who, Y/N?” Seb asked, stepping closer and gently taking your hands in his.
“For... me! Who else?” you replied quickly.
Sebastian didn’t know how to respond. He’d never seen you so distressed about his racing, and while he tried to stay calm, inside he was battling a storm of worry and confusion.
“This stress isn’t good for me or for the situation you and, well... you’ve gotten me into,” you said, your voice cracking.
“Y/N, babe, I swear I have no idea what you’re talking about. Fuck, I’m pretty worried about you right now with all this shit, but if you don’t tell me what’s going on—”
“Damn it, Seb! I’m pregnant!”
You looked down, tears streaming down your face. You clenched your fists tightly, furious at yourself for revealing such big news in such an emotional, unplanned way.
Sebastian, meanwhile, stood frozen, his eyes wide in shock at the unexpected news. Slowly, everything started to make sense: your morning sickness, falling asleep all the time, constantly complaining about being tired, and the flimsy excuses you gave for not drinking wine, something you normally loved.
He cursed himself for not realizing it sooner and for believing your weak justifications about bad leftovers being the cause of everything.
“You’re... pregnant?” His voice was barely audible, almost afraid to say the words out loud because they didn’t feel real.
You wiped your tears and sniffled, doing your best to meet your husband’s gaze without feeling ashamed.
“Yes...” you said timidly. “I wanted to tell you in a special way... you know, by giving you a baby onesie in a box with the positive pregnancy test inside, but...” You shook your head and finally looked him in the eyes. “I thought you were going to die out there today and leave your child and me alone. The thought of losing you, now of all times, just...”
“You’re really pregnant? We’re going to have a baby?”
You nodded, and Seb couldn’t hold back his tears. He pulled you into a tight embrace and began kissing you tenderly. You melted into his arms, feeling an immense weight lifted from your shoulders.
“I didn’t know how to tell you,” you admitted. “I swear I wanted it to be special, but seeing you out there today, thinking something could happen to you...” Your voice broke again. “I was terrified, Seb, like never before watching you race.”
“I’m so sorry, love. I really am,” he said sincerely, cupping your cheeks gently and kissing you over and over. “If I’d known, I would’ve been more careful. God, love, this is incredible... This is the best news I’ve ever received.”
“You’re not mad that I didn’t tell you sooner? You should’ve seen your face earlier...”
“Mad? That you didn’t tell me sooner?” You shrugged, your insecurity showing despite your years together. Seb tilted his head, understanding this was one of your rare but extreme moments of doubt. “I’m just... in shock. I can’t believe we’re going to be parents...”
Sebastian hesitantly touched your stomach, and you burst into fresh tears at the tenderness of his gesture.
“Now you have to promise me something, Seb,” you said, playing with his hair as he knelt before you, leaving kisses on your belly.
“Anything for you and our little one.”
“You need to be more careful from now on. Stop thinking so much with your adrenaline and testosterone, and start using your brain more,” you said, trying not to sound too harsh. “I know Formula 1 and racing is your whole life, but I don’t want you risking it when we’re bringing a new one into the world. I’m eight weeks along, and we still have 32 to go assuming everything follows the perfect pregnancy script.”
Seb stood and gazed at you, trying to convey the calm you both could only find in each other.
“Love, I promise,” he whispered softly. “For you, for the baby... I love winning, but today, and even more so when our child is born, I’ll have won the second most important race of my life.”
You frowned, confused.
“If that’s the second, what’s the most important race of your life then?”
He chuckled and scooped you into his arms, kissing you again as he laid you both on the couch behind you.
“The race I ran for so many years to win your heart,” he murmured between slow, deliberate kisses that said more than words ever could. “After all those years trying to get you to go out with me in high school, and now we’re eight months away from having a baby... what else could it be, mama?”

eren and his mystery cheerleader gf! ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚
syp: no one believed eren had such a pretty gf…until now
trin speaks!: be mindful i might have errors. it’s normal.
Tumblr media
“so where’s your so-called "girlfriend" at? or did you make this one up too like the last time-”
“oh fuck off, connie, that was one time, and i was 12!” the rest of his friends surrounding him laughed at his embarrassment, (apparently he was the only one without a girlfriend so he made up having one…like i’m talking fake messages and everything.) currently, they were at a rival school’s basketball game since you didn’t go to their school and of course eren decided to come and support you…but his friends armin, connie, and onyankopon tagged along with him, wanting to see who his “special lady” was. “so is the game gonna start or…?” “uh, i think? it just turned 6-” armin was cut off with a set of claps and loud stomps from the side of the bleachers, cheerleaders could be heard shouting a set of words while the boys ran out through the middle of them. parents, children and other spectators could be heard yelling in excitement for the intense game that was yet to happen.
eren looked around to spot you, finding you sitting on the bottom bleacher scrolling on your phone, and the boys traced his eyesight, “bro no way you date that girl sitting on the bottome row?” “huh?” connie pointed at you, “her? she’s toooo fine to be dating you-” “hey?! what’s wrong with me?” “-she should be dating me!” everyone around him rolled their eyes, “if anything she should date me, black love is the best love-” “right, but she’s entitled to date anyone she dates, besides we don’t know her,” armin was received with blank stares from all three of em while ignoring eren’s mumbling claims of, “i’m the one dating her,” soon or later it was halftime, which was a break time for everyone.
the dance team began to perform and all the cheerleaders went their separate ways. connie and armin went to concessions and onyankopon was talking with a girl he’d just met, so eren searched and searched for you, until he felt a pair of cold, soft hands hindering his vision. “guess whooo~”
“my beautiful baby i’d hope?” you kept his eyes covered as you moved infront of him, then removed them happily, “well you hoped right! hi eren!” you hugged him and sat next to him, leaning into his arms, “oh wait- you see our new uniforms?” “yes, its looks amazing- they added glitter to the school letters?” your curls shooks as you rapidly nodded, “yes! and the other sports coaches complained about it, wanting the letters to be unisex but i mean, glitter is glitter, and THEN the coaches made us run 5 laps before the game because someone left their bow at home, and now…” he turned towards you so he could listen to you better, and once the buzzer went off, you had to bid your goodbye, “you taking me home?” “you think you could ride home with sasha - i have the guys and i don’t wanna make it too crowded, i’ll get you once you get home?” your slight frown turned upside down and you noddied happily, “okay! see ya!” you waved enthusiastically and he waved back, sighing in content. “who’re you waving at?”
“my girlfriend?” they all stared at eren for like 5 seconds, then bursted out laughing at him, “oh man eren, you are too funny!”
⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚
after dropping his friends off, eren sat outside your home, waiting for your arrival and decided to do something that’ll hopefully get into his friends head that he’s actually dating someone. he smirked at his phone, editing up his caption and nearly jumped hearing his car door open, seeing you in his hoodie and some cute grey shorts, “hey baby,” you kissed his cheek and saw his phone, “uhh why are you…?”
“you’ll see.”

She adjusts her ring light before angling her laptop just right so the webcam captures her body but not her face. Once she’s happy with everything, she starts the livestream. Comments quickly fill her screen, the first of them being her regulars.
@ b3nd0ver long time no see! i’ve been missing my favourite girl
@ milflover69 pop a titty
@ freak4feet do u do foot stuff???
@ milkmann_u look so sexy I can’t breath
“Welcome back you guys, I’ve been missin’ ya,” she tells her viewers in a sultry voice that bears little resemblance to her own. The thin strap of her tank top slides off her shoulder as she adjusts her position to something more comfortable.
“I got something new just for y’all!” She excitedly pulls her shoebox full of sex toys into view before opening it.
@ MikeHunt wtf is in taht box
@ pussypounder take off ur cloths bbg
“Hey, you gotta be patient or else I’m ending this early.” It’s an empty threat, but it always seems to work regardless. She slowly, teasingly removes the lid from the box and tosses it aside. Holding the box up to the webcam, she shows her viewers the collection of different sized dildos, vibrations, butt plugs, and other toys.
“Which should I use first?”
@ 1-800-dickudown me! use me. its ab time u put a real dick in that pussy
“Well why don’t ya come on over here, one eight hundred dick you down, and dick me down?” She teases in reply to that comment.
1-800-dickudown sent $50.00
“Think I’ll use…” she trails off as she digs through the box, “this one! I bought it with the help of all your donations,” she explains as she shows them the thick, six inch glass dildo.
“Ribbed for pleasure!” She says, running her finger along the toy to show off the artificial veins.
@ freak4feet stroke it with ur feet!
@ oversexxxed ur so pretty show me ur pussy pls
She spreads her thighs giving a full view of her soaked panties. With one hand, she slides her panties aside, exposing her freshly shaven cunt to the webcam. She rubs her clit a few times and lets out some overdramatic moans before grabbing the dildo with her free hand. She slides the toy up and down her slick folds before teasing her entrance with it.
@ bigdickDILF I could please you better than that piece of crap can.
bigdickDILF sent $117.23
She lets out a girlish giggle. “I’d love to test that, big dick DILF. But this’ll have to do for now.” She shoves the tip in as she continues rubbing her clit, making sure to let out some moans and breathy whimpers along the way.
@ milkmann_you never fail to make my dick hard.
The increase of her pace emits wet erotic sounds. She fights to keep her thighs from squeezing closed as she continues to pleasure herself. The toy hits her g-spot which turns her dramatized moans into real ones.
“O-Oh, I’m about to cum!” She moans, fucking herself harder with the toy.
@ sleazyb0iii me too
@ milflover69 POP. A. TITTY >:(
The fingers of her free hand tangle into the fuzzy rug beneath her as her back arches and toes curl. She screams out as her juices squirt from around the dildo.
Dogwater sent you $3.00
b00bman sent you $20.00
SitOnMyFace sent you $85.00
“T-thanks for the tips,” she says shakily as she’s coming down from her high.
@ mustache_MAN lick it clean
“Yes, sir!” She pulls the toy from her cunt and its covered in her juices. She tilts her screen back so her glossy lips are in view before bringing the dildo up to her mouth. She licks it up and down before putting the tip between her lips.
“Mmmm, bet you guys wish you could get a taste.” She takes the toy as deep down her throat as she can before gagging, sending tears cascading down her face. She bobs her head up and down the glass dildo as if she were giving a blowjob. She pulls her mouth from the toy before setting it aside.
mustache_MAN sent $2.47
“Thanks for the tip, mustache man! I know this was a short stream, but that’s all I have for tonight,” she informs her users. Before she she can move her cursor to the ‘end stream’ button, another notification catches her eye.
BigBadWolf  sent $1,000.00
Her eyes go wide at the amount. She’s never made that much on a single stream before and that catches her off guard.
“Oh..Oh my gosh, thank you so much big bad wolf,” she says, still in shock.
@ BigBadWolf Do you take requests? I’d love to see you use your fingers.
She can’t be sure if she’s turned on by his politeness or the large amount of money, but her cunt clenches around nothing as she swallows dryly.
“Anything for you,” she purrs, playing it up on the sexiness in hopes for another big tip. She moves from her sitting position to a kneeling position before sliding her panties down her legs. She sits back down and kicks them off before spreading her legs so her viewers get the perfect view of her soaking cunt. She rubs her stiffened clit in tight circles which sent tingles of pleasure down her spine. Her hand drifts down to her entrance before she slips in two fingers. Her free hand pulls down the front of her tank top, freeing her breasts before she squeezes it.
@ milflover69 finally!
milflover69 sent $1.00
@ BigBadWolf One more baby, I know you can do it ;)
“Yes, sir,” she moans before sliding in a third finger. She slightly winces at the stretch, but it feels good. Her thumb and index finger pinch and tweaked her nipple as she fucks herself with her fingers. Involuntarily, she ruts up against her own hand, chasing another orgasm.
“‘M gonna cum again,” she whines as her legs begin to shake. She gropes at her breast as her second orgasm overtakes her. She rests her head against the floor as she catches her breath. With two fingers, she spreads open her lower lips, showcasing her overstimulated cunt.
“Look at what you guys do to me!” She teases her loyal fans.
@ BigBadWolf Beautiful
She sits upright and drags her cursor over the ‘end stream’ button. “Okay, I’m ending this for real this time. Love y’all, bye!” She ends the stream and shuts her laptop before fixing her top and putting her panties back on. Apprehensively, she opens her laptop and scrolls to look at her total amount of tips–$2,276.23. That’s almost enough for her to pay for another month of rent in her shitty apartment. A message in her inbox catches her eye and she curiously opens it. It’s from @ BigBadWolf, the seemingly loaded guy from her stream.
@ BigBadWolf You’re so fucking beautiful. Do you take requests? I’ll happily pay, just name your amount.
She stares at the message in awe. Typically, the kind of people that message her are weirdos who tell her about their sick fantasies in full detail, so this is a nice change.
@ virginesque ya, if u subscribe to my profile u can see i post requests all the time
@ BigBadWolf I want these all to myself not something for all your goddamn subscribers to see
@ virginesque oh! i dont usually do that…
@ BigBadWolf Not trying to pressure you or anything, but I’ll pay whatever amount you want
@ virginesque ya? like a million dollars lol
@ BigBadWolf Within reason haha
@ virginesque fuck it why not. whats ur request ???
@ BigBadWolf I’d love to see you in the shower
After a moment of thinking, she deems his request to be reasonable. Even though she had already showered for the night, she doesn't mind doing it again for a couple of extra bucks. She brings her phone with her into the shower after she had undressed. For the longest time, she just stands there beneath the stream of warm water contemplating if this is something she really wants to do. She needs the money and he’s willing to give it and it’s not like this is too much more than what she already does. After opening the camera, she holds her phone up so her body from the shoulders down is in view. She hits record and with her free hand she lathers her body in soap. Her hands caress over as much of her body she can reach before coming back up to her breasts, lathering soap and squeezing them a few times before ending the video.
@ virginesque sent a video
She lays in bed, staring at her phone anxiously awaiting the stranger’s reply. Half an hour passes and inbox is still the same–empty. She shuts off her phone and tosses it aside, cursing herself for being so stupid. Of course it seemed too good it be true and she felt like a fool for believing otherwise.
⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚⋆ ˚。⋆
When she awoke the next morning, she was still pissed and remained that way for most of the day.
“Girl, are you okay?” Her friend asks her during stretches.
“Just a little irritated, y’know, workloads and stuff,” she lies. She makes it a priority to keep her double life as a camgirl a secret.
“Ugh, tell me about it. If I have to write another fucking paper-“
“Enough chit-chat, ladies, keep stretching,” the track and field coach, Coach Negan, orders.
She can’t help the huff and eye roll that escapes her, but she begrudgingly gets back to her stretches anyway.
“What crawled up your ass and died?” Coach Negan asks her with a shit eating grin spreading across his face.
“Nothing!” She snaps. Both her friend and Coach Negan give her a strange look.
“Whatever it is, don’t let it fuck with your performance out there,” he encourages before walking off.
“I can’t stand him,” she mutters under her breath.
“Really? I think he’s great,” her friend disagrees.
“Nuh uh, you just think he’s hot!” She teases before they burst into a fit of giggles.
“Okay, that’s five extra laps for you two!” An irritated Coach Negan shouts.
After practice and the extra laps she heads directly to her apartment off campus. With her getting scammed on top of her coach being a hardass, she’s so stressed that she’s ready to just roll over and go to bed. But no, she has a presentation to put together. She flings open her computer and sees that the tab with her camgirl account is still open and there’s a new message in her inbox.
@ BigBadWolf Sorry for the late reply, had shit to do.
@ BigBadWolf  You are so fucking sexy babygirl
@ BigBadWolf sent $500.00
Her eyes widen and mood brightens when she sees he actually replied and the amount he sent.
@ virginesque oh wow, thank u
@ BigBadWolf How was your day?
She glares suspiciously at her screen. The first impression she got of him was that he’s some old rich guy who has a porn addiction and a lot of money to fuel it, so him asking about her day comes as a surprise.
@ virginesque uh good? how was urs?
@ BigBadWolf Better once I watched your video ;)
She’s sure he’s just using flattery to get more out of her, but still can’t help that her cheeks warmed at his comment.
@ virginesque glad i could help
@ BigBadWolf I know this is forward, but do you do video calls?
The question takes her aback. Video calls aren’t something she’s done before, but with the money he’s sent her thus far, she’d be willing to try.
@ virginesque i’ve never done them before but for u i would
@ BigBadWolf Well aren’t you just sweet as shit
@ virginesque when do u wanna call?
@ BigBadWolf Is now okay?
@ virginesque sure
BigBadWolf is calling….
Her heart races in her chest as she debates actually answering or not. She angles down her laptop screen down so he can’t see her face and answers the call.
“Hello?” she asks the black screen.
“Hey, baby,” a deep, raspy voice replies. It’s oddly familiar, but not in a way she can pinpoint.
“Um, thanks for all the money.”
“Anything for my favorite girl.”
She tries to bite back the smile she can feel forming on her face, but his voice is so sexy and words are so flattering.
“Favorite girl?”
“Uh huh, no one else makes me feel the way you do.”
“So, uh…what’s your name? Or do I have to keep calling you ‘big bad wolf?’”
He lets out a laugh before replying. "You don't have to call me that, you can just call me sir."
"Okay, sir, can I see you?"
He pauses for a moment as if he were in thought and when he turns on his camera, he's in a similar position to hers–sitting down with his face out of view. He has on a white t-shirt and his arms are decorated with tattoos. From what she can see, he seems to be in good shape and could potentially be an attractive man.
“Will I ever get to see that pretty face of yours?”
The laugh she lets out is sarcastic. “What makes you so sure my face is pretty?”
“Trust me, I can just tell.”
“Pfff, okay. Did you just want to video call to flirt with me?”
“I just wanted to see you again, but with my eyes only. None of those other assholes watching you from their screens.”
“Yeah? What do you want me to do?”
“Take off your clothes.”
The impudence of his request catches her off guard. Getting naked on camera and adhering to the wishes of random people on the internet are all things she’s used to, but doing it over a video call made her feel shy. It’s more personable. Instead of just reading comments, she’s hearing him tell her what to do and gets to hear his reaction. With shaky hands, she pulls her shirt over her head and tosses it aside. Reaching behind her back, she nervously unclasps her bra and lets it fall down her shoulders, exposing her breasts to him.
“Beautiful, baby,” he compliments, sending warmth flooding throughout her body. She gets comments like this all the time, but hearing it from this man has a different affect on her. Like his words and validation actually mean something to her. She stands from her desk chair and unbuttons her jeans before turning around and bending over as she pulls them down. Her panties go next and she sways her hips seductively as she pulls them down too. She steps out of the garments before returning back to her chair.
“I could just stare at you all day. You are a goddamn piece of artwork.”
“Stop! You flatter me too much,” she giggles, hiding her face in her hands even though he can’t even see it.
“Really, I can’t get enough of you. Lemme see that pretty pussy.” She adjusts herself in the chair and lifts her legs, spreading open her thighs and holding them up by the backs of her knees.
“I wanna see it from the back.”
“Yes, sir.” She turns around in her chair and holds on to the back of it for support it. She arches her back to give him a better view.
“That’s it, baby. Touch yourself.” She slides her hand between her legs and rubs her clit. Arousal builds up within her as she pleasures herself.
“I wish it was you touching me right now,” she whines.
“Me too, baby, me too. I wanna feel you come undone around my fingers and then taste you all over.”
“I just know you’d stuff me so good. My cunt and my throat.”
“Oh honey, you have no idea how fuckin’ good I’d make you feel.”
She slides two fingers into her now soaking hole. It’s difficult for her to hit her g-spot in this position, but hearing him talk dirty is enough to get her off. She silently whimpers as her orgasm quickly approaches and the man continues to praise her.
“Attagirl. Lemme see you cum,” he says right when her orgasm hits. Her free hand grips the back of her chair as her thighs shake. She sits back down properly and awaits the man’s next words.
“Look at what you do to me.” He tilts his camera down so she can see his lap, particularly the tent he’s pitching in his pants.
“I wish I could help you with that…especially since I caused it,” she teases with feigned innocence.
“Can I uh…can I watch you take care of it?”
“Of course, babygirl.” He undoes his belt before pulling down his pants just enough to free his cock from his boxers, and once he did, it slapped against his abdomen. Her eyes widen at the size of him. He’s thick and long and slightly curved and veins run along his shaft. He’s circumcised and keeps it neat down there, too. Out of all the dicks she’s seen from unsolicited dick pics, this man’s is the best, prettiest one she’s ever seen. If he could see her, he’d see that her jaw is dropped with awe.
“Just met me and you’re already droolin’ over my dick?”
“So what if I am?” she retorts.
He just laughs his handsome laugh before spitting into his hand. His large, veiny hand wraps around his shaft before he starts stroking it slowly.
“Bet you wanna suck it, don’t you?”
“I’m sure you’d like that,” she laughs.
“You know me so well.”
As she watches him stroke his dick, all she can think of is how it would feel inside of her. Heat floods her core and she’s sure he’d be able to put out that fire within her. He occasionally lets out a few grunts and moans as he brings himself closer to his peak.
“Fuck, baby, I know your pretty little mouth would feel so good around my dick.”
“Mmmhmm, I’d even let you cum down my throat.”
“You are such a naughty girl.”  She giggles at the string of profanities that flow from his mouth as he cums all over his hand.
“If I were there, I’d clean you off with my tongue,” she fantasizes.
“You are just trying to get me hard all over again, aren't you?”
“Maybe…”
“I gotta go get ready for work tomorrow, but let’s do this again sometime, yeah?”
“You really can’t get enough of me,” she jokes before ending the call.
@ BigBadWolf sent $2,500.00
She stares at her screen in disbelief. No way did she just do that, but what shocks her even more was how much she genuinely enjoyed it, how much it turned her on. They seemed to have a genuine connection, too. The way they flirted back and forth effortlessly without any awkward moments in between made her look forward to interacting with him again.

Hi, may I request a Tim Drake x male!reader story ? The reader is androgynous, has a rock/punk style, is a Japanese exorcist who dislikes heroes, and has an impulsive, shameless, and slightly paranoid personality. A fluff piece, please. Sorry for asking a lot, take care of yourself !
Stay for dinner-breakfast
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: Tim’s in a situationship with someone who hates heroes, this is just great. Pairing: Tim Drake x Male!Reader Wc: 3.8k tags/warnings: Japanese reader, way too many Blue Exorcist references, small demon fight
When most people familiar enough with demons or even the Justice League mention needing an exorcist, minds immediately go to the infamous John Constantine. The guy who managed to trick God and Satan, making himself nearly immortal. The guy who, admittedly, could probably control most demons with the flick of his cigarette.
Tim’s mind, however, wanders to a guy he met during his time abroad. When he had to do some Red Robin stuff that took him to Japan. He reminisces about it as if it was decades ago, in reality, it was two years ago. Hardly even two years, if he’s being honest. But he rarely is.
While Bruce and Dick argue about whether or not they should call up John (the last time they did, Constantine ended up summoning more demons to deal with the initial demons and then blew up a building to get rid of the extra demons) (it cost Wayne Enterprises too much to justify asking that man for help again) Tim fishes out his phone. It doesn’t take him long to find the contact; it’s been what… a week since you’ve last spoken. He’s texted exactly three people within that week; Kon, Bart, and Jason. Jason because he wanted to know if he could join a drug bust he knew Jason had coming up.
The answer was no.
The phone rings as he spins in the chair, waiting until he hears that it’s connecting. Seriously, it’s already been three whole rings, what’s the hold-up?
“Whaddya want, hero boy?” You ask without looking down at the phone. Probably because you’re jumping from the ledge of a roof to a lamppost and then to the top of a vending machine.
“You busy?” He asks, looking at the mole underneath your jaw. He hadn’t known that. Your head tilts from side to side as you make a noise.
“I’ll have to check my calendar,” Glancing down at the phone, you wink and then pocket the phone.
“There’s a demon in Gotham, could use the help.” He says, barely able to see as you’re fighting a demon. His eyes glance up at the contact name Okumura, unassuming to most because it is someone’s last name but to Tim, it’s so much more.
He thought it was absolutely hilarious that you were an exorcist from Japan, raised by a priest, with a twin brother, and had the same hobbies as the anime where the main character is an exorcist from Japan, raised by a priest, with a twin brother. You didn’t think it was nearly as funny. The first time he mentioned it you kicked him from a rooftop— it was three stories, he was fine.
“Like now?” You ask, picking your sword— just like the anime character, he’d gladly remind you— and cutting the demon in half with a mumbled but strong prayer.
“Yes,” He nods, looking at the live feed of a demon messing up the finance district of Gotham.
“Fine,” You grumble. “You’re lucky I finished my work for the day. See you in a minute.”
“Kay, bye!” He hangs up and removes an earbud, calling for Bruce and Dick who haven’t stopped arguing. He wonders how they’d get anything done without him. They stop and look towards him as he waves his phone. “I have someone coming in for the demons.” He announces and Dick just hopes it’s not one of his friends from his YJ time. He cannot deal with those kids after finding out they watched Santa Claus get killed by a sentient meteor and then spent the next five months delivering gifts.
“It isn’t Constantine, right?” Bruce asks, arms crossed and a disapproving glare ready to be plastered on his face.
“That white man has nothing on me,” You chuckle, entering the Batcave through the door, spinning a set of skeleton keys on your index finger before putting them back into your pocket. Pointedly, Tim looks off to the wall with a see, anime guy look before turning back to the task at hand.
“Who…?” Dick slowly asks while Bruce is having second thoughts about letting Tim back into the cave ever again.
“That’s Okumura,” He responds, standing up from the chair to greet you.
You’re wearing a pair of jorts— but the good kind, not the weird-looking ones— with hand-bleach-painted crosses on the leg, chunky beige leg warmers over a pair of shiny black loafers and an extremely large sweater that falls off your shoulder as you run down the stairs overtop a black turtleneck.
There’s a pair of red shades on the top of your head, they curve at the top in a way that makes it look as though you have horns. Tim decides to not comment on the obvious joke he could make. But you can tell he wants to make it because of the glint in his eyes.
“Hello!” You nod without looking at them, too focused on not tripping over the steps, and give the group a small two-finger wave. “Tim calls me Okumura, it is not my name, though.” The hand that was doing the wave meets his hand and you do a funky little handshake before you look over at them for the first time. You frown, looking at their suits. It’s not even a frown, it’s damn near a scowl. You look at Tim who just shrugs; he would’ve thought you knew he was with his hero family.
“I’ll head out the demon; tell them not to follow me,” You tell Tim and he nods, sending you the location of the fight. While he does that, you look around for a different exit when you see his motorcycle parked, ready to go. “I’m stealing your motorbike again!” You call as you’re rushing over to it.
“Kay!” He replies, head still buried in his phone. The motorcycle reeves to life as you jump on it; Bruce nearly stops you but the door to the cave is opening and you’re off faster than he can move. Slowly, he turns towards Tim with his arms crossed and a lecture waiting to happen.
“You better have a good explanation for that,” Bruce says once the door closes again.
“That’s my exorcist friend,” He explains with a shrug.
“You have friends outside of Kon?” Jason asks, a teasing tone to his voice but Tim can tell it genuinely surprised Dick. He doesn’t know if he should be hurt by that.
“Yeah,” He shrugs.
“And he’s an exorcist?” Bruce asks, looking at where the motorcycle once sat. He really hopes you don’t break it.
“Yup.”
“How did he get here so fast?” Dick asks, a little worried Tim was hiding a person in the manor.
“Funny story,” Tim smiles, looking up at them before looking down again, leaving them hanging. Jason grumbles, air strangling him while Bruce just sighs and looks back to the live feed. Thankfully you’d already arrived at the scene and to Tim and your credit, you’re dealing with the demons fairly easily. It’s surprising that your face is hidden from the public’s view, he hadn’t seen a mask but he also hadn’t seen the giant sword so. Probably some magic he won’t care about but probably should learn.
“Let’s go, fifteen Joker goons spotted around the site.” In a fluid motion, Tim puts his mask on and follows Bruce into the Batmobile.
When Tim gets out of the car, he immediately finds you. You’re on top of a demon, riding it in the air while laughing and stabbing a nearby demon. He stops for a moment, wondering how you managed to wrangle a demon enough to sit on its back as if it were a horse. He then sees the knife in its head and he understands. He’s nearly jealous of the sight.
Tim finally joins the others in the fight, narrowly avoiding the demons spawning from someplace he hasn’t found out yet. But you have, because you kill the flying horse demon and land softly behind Tim, cutting a demon away before it can sneak up on him. He shouts a thank you, pushing two goons back with his staff.
“I said no heroes!” You shout as you’re running past, heading towards a glowing manhole. How he hadn’t noticed it before; he won’t ever know.
“Did he say no heroes?” Dick grunts, pushing back two goons that tried to jump him.
“Yeah, he got issues with them.” Tim laughed before he was punched in the stomach by the goon he’d been fighting. He grumbles, holding the spot for a second before he knocks the goon out. “How many more are left?” He asks.
“Four,” Bruce says as he knocks out one of them. “Three.”
He goes to reply when there’s a loud explosion from the manhole and he looks over. Blue smoke rises out from the holes and he abandons trying to help the others fight the remaining goons in favor of finding you in the chaos. He doesn’t know what the smoke is but he assumes it’s some type of Joker Gas and he knows you’re not used to that.
Putting a respirator on his face, he moves the manhole cover and jumps down. He squints into the blue fog, listening for noises but there’s a lot. There are hundreds of insect demons scurrying around him, hissing from the pipes, and he stops to really listen. He hears a string of coughs and follows it, the smoke getting thicker but he sees the faint outline of you lying on your back.
“You don’ need a mask,” You huff, waving your hand in an attempt to move the smoke. “It is not poison.”
“What is it?” He asks, removing the respirator as the smoke starts to clear, escaping up to the manhole. Your figure gets clearer, he can see your shirt and your hands resting on your stomach.
“Spell,” You respond. “A… boobtrap for the talisman.”
“Boobytrap.” He corrects, putting the small device back into his pocket.
“That is what I said.” You blink, sitting up. He doesn’t fight you on that and helps you to your feet before he stops, hand still in yours. Now that you’re up close, he can really see you and when his eyes trail down, he inhales sharply and looks away.
“You’re not gonna believe this,” He says, covering his mouth with his free hand.
“What? Did I get ugly? Do I look like you?” You ask, genuinely concerned as you pat your face but calm down when you feel your features.
“Worse,” He grins and reaches around to grab your newly formed tail. “You really are Okumura now!” You shout, tugging at the tail only to wince because it’s connected to you. It only makes him laugh harder and you shout again, shaking him.
“This is not funny!” You tell him and then pause. “Thhhis,” You repeat and then cover your mouth. His eyebrows raise and, to his credit, he stops laughing. At least until you remove your hand and open your mouth, showing off the newly formed sharp canines. He barks a laugh and then pushes your hair away from your ear and you watch in horror as he spins on his heel to hide his expression.
“You two okay down there?” Dick shouts from the top of the manhole.
“Fine!” Tim replies through his laugh.
“That was one voice!”
“Fine!” You reply, even though you’re freaking out as your fingers trace over the suddenly sharp ears on your head.
“I'm cursed!” You cry, dropping your head onto Tim’s shoulder, your ear nearly poking him in the eye. “This is your fault. Pushing him away, you pick up your sword from the floor and resheath it with ease. “Never trust a hero,” You grunt, rushing over to the manhole.
“My fault?” He echos, following you out of the manhole.
“You called me into your freaky city!” Climbing to the top of the manhole, you sit and kick his face. Not too hard, though. He shouts, holding his nose with one hand and the railing with the other. Standing up, you redo your hair over your ears and try to stuff the tail into your pants but it swings wildly and then wraps around something that’s behind you.
When you look at what it was holding, you find it’s wrapped around Tim’s hand, helping him out of the manhole.
“I think it likes you,” You grin despite yourself.
“So, you like the tail?” He asks, checking his nose through the reflective metal of his staff. Thankfully his nose wasn’t broken, but it was throbbing in pain. Red on the end and he’s rubbing it with his free hand. You shrug, crossing your arms.
“If it holds you like that,” Winking, he rolls his eyes under the mask and looks over at his family. Your eyes follow and you check your phone; there are no texts from anyone but you pretend that there are.
“Wow, glad we settled that then.” He hums, smiling at you.
“Mhmm, well, bye!”
“Wait—“ He grabs the tail as you’re walking away and you grunt, eyes wide as you turn to look at him. Your eyes dart to and from the tail, watching as his fingers absentmindedly play with the soft furs on the end. “Stay for dinner, you did say I owed you.” When you first met, you’d gotten a glorious dinner and he ran into you, spilling it right into a sewer drain. You still think about that day and get upset.
“Is it…” You cringe as you can’t find the right word. “American food?” He chuckles, remembering the countless videos you’ve sent him with angry and crying emojis. Hotdogs in jello, white bread soaked in water, mashed potatoes made out of potato chips, and boiled plain, unseasoned chicken with unwashed white rice.
“It’s not the American food you sent me.” He promises. “It’s good, I like it.” Your face scrunches as that’s not much to go off of; the man drinks Monster Energy’s like it's water. You’re sure it’s melted off his taste buds at this point.
“But you also like the vending machine cakes.”
“It was good.” He defends. “But this is really good, trust me?”
“I wasn’t invited by B,” You glance over at the scowling Batman and glare back. Tim grabs your face, turning you to look back at him. You smile at him in a way that makes his stomach flutter and he clears his throat, dropping his hand.
“Ugh! B, can he stay for dinner?” He asks, pressing his finger against his earpiece.
“No.”
“He said yes,” He smiles and you struggle to still say no to him.
“I have to speak to the council about this—“ You gesture to your newly formed tail and ears. “Raincheck.”
Tim sighs but relents.
“We’ll make your favorite next time; as a thank you.” He promises and you nod, waving before jogging up to a random door. The team watches as you pull out the keys and open the door, showing the headquarters of the council you work for. You wave again, your tail waving along before the door closes.
“Better than Constantine,” Jason says as he looks at the ash on the ground.
“That skirt does not go with that shirt,” Damian stops at Tim’s door, blinking at the oak door as Tim laughs. “I regret buying you VIP and custom makeup,” Now, Damian’s no idiot. He has friends and Jon, much to his chagrin, has gotten him into Roblox. So he knows very well that Tim is talking about Dress to Impress.
“What? It looks cute!” Another voice defends, a voice that isn’t one he’s familiar with. He’d assumed Tim was talking to Kon, maybe Bart, or even himself. “You’re the one wearing a neon green fur hat when the theme is Victorian!” Carefully, he grabs onto the brass doorknob, pressing his other hand to the door and slowly turns it.
“It’s camp,” Tim replies. He’s sitting on his bed with his legs crossed and laptop perched between them. Regrettably, he’s in an old band t-shirt and sweats; not company attire Damian would later remark. Across from him, sitting with their back to the door, Damian stares at the dangling sword earrings and then the tattered Eastern Youth shirt overtop a pair of leather pants. But his focus is on the tail swishing back and forth.
“It’s ugly, just like your face,” You remark. Tim smiles, still looking down at his laptop, and moves his leg to kick you. You grab his ankle before he can and extend his leg, tossing your own over it. He shifts so both his legs are out and you naturally sit with your legs intertwined.
Damian turns his nose up and leaves the room, the door softly locking behind him.
“Pretty sure you weren’t saying that earlier,” Tim chides after the door had closed, watching as Damian’s footsteps leave from his door.
“I did,” You hum, showing how you’d gotten first place and he’d gotten dead last. He rolls his eyes, leaves the game, and turns off your iPad. Next time he’ll just rig the game, clearly, the lobby didn’t understand his vision.
“You should stay for dinner,” Your face contorts at the idea and you scoot closer to him until your ankles reach his back and his knees are at your ribs. “They’re not bad, not right now, at least.” He adds, messing with your studded belt.
“I don’t like heroes, Tim,” You remind him. He frowns, eyes meeting your own. “And Bruce definitely will not welcome me after the curse,” Right, the whole demon curse. His eyes move to your tail that’s now wrapping around his left leg, the soft hairs brushing against his calf. While you’re not wrong, Bruce would have a heart attack if Tim was caught letting a demon (it's temporary, the council assured you) inside his house.
“Fuck what Bruce has to say; I have my place! I run the company now, too,” He shrugs.
“So why are we at the manor?” You tilt your head and he shrugs again.
“Alfred offered to make my favorite for dinner because I haven’t visited since the whole demon thing.” You tut, leaning forward so your head rests on his chest. He looks at your awkwardly folded pose and pushes your legs. Getting the hint, you lift yourself and fold your legs underneath you. He lays his head on top of yours, using his phone behind your back.
The two of you sit in silence until your legs go numb and you turn around, now watching as he scrolls through his socials. He shifts so one arm holds you close and locks his legs over yours while you hold his hand.
Now, despite how it may look, you and Tim were not in a relationship. Nearly, you’ll both admit that much. But nothing that ever surpassed longing glances and touching that lasted far too long for the two of you to simply be friends.
And that was for one simple reason.
Tim was a hero.
You don’t hate heroes, simply a strong dislike towards them. For a multitude of reasons, enough for a twenty-page paper. Tim would know, he had you make one when you first rejected him. You don’t really trust them, all of them except for Tim. And maybe his strange friend Kon, but that’s about it. All of the rest can leave you the hell alone.
Your phone buzzes and you spare it a glance; a call from your superior.
“I gotta go,” You tell him but make no move to leave. He just hums, still scrolling on his phone. “There’s probably an attack and I’m needed.”
“That’s crazy,” He mutters, showing you a video of a cat lying down in an empty fishbowl.
“And Alfred will probably come up soon,” The time is around when dinner is usually ready.
“Probably,” He agrees. Your phone starts ringing again and you stare at it.
“I really should be going,”
“You really shouldn’t.” He drops his phone to hold you with both arms.
“I’ll get in trouble,” You look up at him and he just blinks. “They’ll take my keys away.” He relents and lets you stand but you don’t move. He raises an eyebrow and you smile before flicking him with your tail and getting up.
He spluttered at the hairs, wiping his mouth as you shoved your feet into your boots.
“See you,” You wave before opening his bedroom door to your boss's room. He sees the woman sitting on the edge of her desk, dangling her phone. She sees him and you quickly shut the door.
Flopping onto his back, Tim runs his hands down his face and stares at the ceiling. He rolls over and looks down at your iPad, deciding he’ll just keep it until you notice it’s gone.
“Still have an issue with me being a hero?” Tim asks as you’re cooking in his apartment. You’re making breakfast for dinner, considering he’d come back at three in the morning and you’d skipped breakfast in favor of dealing with some demons terrorizing school.
“Yes, Tim.” You reply, setting a third pancake onto the plate. He leans against your back, staring at the side of your face while making sure to be careful of your sharp ear. Your tail pulls him closer and he snickers. “The tail has nothing to do with me,” You grumble, side-glancing at him.
“Even if I say pretty please?” He bats his long eyelashes, making sure that they tickle your face.
“You’re making a very convincing argument,” You laugh, pushing his face away. With a small snicker, he pulls his face and adjusts his grip on you. Tim sighs into your shoulder and then steals a piece of bacon, narrowly avoiding the slap from the spatula.
“Can I just be the one hero you like?” He hops onto the counter, watching as you continue to cook.
“You already are,” You watch from the corner of your eye as he flicks his hair out of his face, studying you. He watches you for another minute or two, offering up forks when it’s time to plate the food. He’s clearly thinking as he pours the cups of juice, smiling while he jumps back on the counter before he eventually speaks up.
“Can I take you on a date, then?” He asks, eyes flickering from the last pancake to your face. Pausing mid-flip, you shrug. Taking a moment to think about it, Tim watches as your tail slowly moves side to side before it settles on the back of the couch.
“It would be faster if you just kissed me, if I’m being honest.” You chuckle and his eyebrows raise.
“You’re telling me all of this could’ve been avoided with… a kiss?” He slowly asks and you nod, turning the fire off and then moving to be in front of him. He reaches for you, his fingers curling under your jaw as you stare up at him. Opening his legs, you sit between them and mess with the hair around his face.
“I just wanted to see some initiative,” You hum and he rolls his eyes before crashing his lips into yours.

₊˚⊹♡ tags; fem!reader, mitsuya calls reader a tough girl lol, mentions of blood, mentions of a knife, mentions of stitches, reader shedding a few tears, lots of teasing if i forgot anything just lmk!
₊˚⊹♡ wc; 1600+
₊˚⊹♡ a/n; just thinking about mitsuya having a crush on the cooking club president two classroom doors down from his club lol
Tumblr media
"You should try going from underneath, you won't poke your fingers as much and it'll be a cleaner stitch...see?" mitsuya then turns to the first year girl staring intensely at his hands waiting for her to say something.
She then looks up at him a bit flustered "oh y-yeah I see, thank you" she mutters taking her piece back from him. Mitsuya watches over her for a few moments softly nodding to himself when he notices her stitches looking much cleaner.
He takes a quick once over of the clubroom to see if anyone needs help with anything but before he can ask anyone if they need help, the rooms door slides open with a loud bang. He looks over to see a first year girl he doesn't recognize looking a bit shocked.
"Can I help you?" he questions walking towards her while she looks around "Y-yeah do you- do you know? Where is mitsuya?" she questioned although she doesn't know who or what she's asking for "Thats me, what do you need?"
She gives him a weird look before stepping into the classroom "Can I have your first aid kit? Do you have a first aid kit?" she questions looking around for said item "Yeah, but what do you need it for? What club are you even from?" mitsuya questions getting a bit annoyed at her intrusion.
"I’m from the cooking club, y/n, do you know y/n? She cut herself with a knife pretty bad, there's blood everywhere. And our first aid kit is missing, we can't find it." she sighs out in annoyance at mitsuya’s lack of movement.
He doesn't say anything to her when he goes into the supply closet reaching for the kit "Oh thank you- you guys just keep working on your stitching i’ll be back in a little bit. Come get me if you need help with anything Yasuda."
Mitsuya then walks out of the classroom with the first year following behind him "Y-you could've just given me the kit, you don't have to come" she rambles nearly tripping over her feet. "You said she's bleeding a lot, what if she needs stitches?"
He obviously wouldn't be the one to stitch her up but he also didn't want to admit he just wanted to make sure you were alright. "You think she'll need stitches?" She exclaims while they walk into the room, mitsuya immediately knows where you are based off the group of people surrounding you.
"Ok guys excuse me, are you alright y/n?" you look up at mitsuya with wide eyes and a towel pressed into your palm, which is covered in blood. "M-mitsuya what are you- what are you doing here? I just told you to ask him for his first aid kit, you don't have to help its ok."
He completely ignores you while grabbing a stool to sit on and help you. “It’s fine, plus I wanted to make sure I got my first aid kit back" he teases eyeing the nervous year in the corner who just looks away embarrassed and slightly annoyed.
"I would've made sure to return it, but thank you" you mutter holding out your shaky hand to mitsuya, he gently grabs it while starting to removing the towel. The first time you flinch he immediately stops and looks up at you.
"S-sorry it tugged on something" you explain while scooting closer to him while anxiously bouncing your leg, which mitsuya takes note of the few drops of blood on it. Maybe you do need stitches he thinks to himself while removing the towel off your hand fully.
Looking at your hand he can't really see how deep the cut is with all the dried blood on it "Where did you cut yourself?" he mutters moving your hand around gently trying to get a better look "My palm, I wasn't paying attention and trying to cut that onion..."
He then looks at your station and sees a half cut onion covered in blood along with a way too big knife "That's a big knife don't you think?" he laughs looking back towards you.
"I said I wasn't paying attention" you sigh with an eye roll "You have to set a better example to your peers miss president" he jokes nodding his head to the other students in the room, some of which are still huddled around the two of you.
"Alright I'm going to need you guys to give me some space please..." mitsuya softly laughs leading you to your stations sink "Yeah guys just go back to your stations and finish cutting your vegetables" you wave them off with your uncut hand.
"And dont use overly big knives" You softly smack mituyas arm at his small jab while he laughs holding your hand, which doesnt seem to be bleeding anymore, over the sink. He turns the water on holding his hand under it waiting for it to get a bit warm.
And when its at a good temperature he turns to you with a frown "Ok these next few parts are going to suck" he warns while you take in a deep breath and nod knowing what's coming next. After another minute you turn to him with a soft nod.
He then leads your hand underneath the lukewarm water softly rubbing away the dried blood and when you try you pull your arm away he holds on tighter "almost done, sorry" he just continues when you dont say anything.
"Ok...all done" he sighs shutting off the water now able to see the actual cut "Good news is, you dont need stitches, it’s not that deep. Just a long cut" he explains while shaking his hands dry and reaching for the first aid kit.
"Thank god, all that blood scared me" you sigh looking at your palm poking around the cut "Stop that, I need to clean it now" he scolds grabbing your hand again this time with a bottle of alcohol in the other "You just cleaned it!" you exclaimed pulling you hand free from his grasp holding it close to your chest.
He stares at you a bit wide eyed then laughs "I rinsed it, now I need to clean it so it doesn't get infected or anything" he explains holding out his hand waiting for you "But that's going to hurt" you whine nodding towards the bottle of alcohol.
"I did say that these next few parts were going to suck" he says with a small smile, you can only sigh in defeat giving him your hand. He feels you anxiously stepping back and fourth while he opens the bottle "Don't move, the quicker I do this the faster its over"
And just as he's about to pour it over your cut you rip your hand away "S-sorry! but you have to count down, you can't just do that!" you whine slightly jumping in place shaking your good hand.
He rolls his eyes grabbing your hand again "Ok 1 2...3" and then you feel the cold liquid being poured over your hand "Oh it's not that-oh my god" You whimper once it finally starts to burn and you rest your head on mitsuya’s back.
"You ok?" he mutters trying to take a peek at you from over his shoulder "I think I'm going to pass out" you whisper resting more of your weight on him. "Actually?" he panics turning to grab you "N-no but that was so much worse then I could've expected" you mutter immediately taking a seat at the stool while tears prick at your eyes.
Mitsuya watches as you try to blink back tears while leaning against the counter "It’s ok to cry, the worst part is over at least" he sighs while grabbing some gauze from the first aid kit "I’m not crying, my eyes just teared up a bit..."
When you look up at him he's giving you an unimpressed look "alright tough girl, give me your hand and then we're done" mitsuya clicks his tongue in annoyance when you let out a big sigh and slap you hand into his.
"I could just leave you to finish it if you want" he warns even as he starts to wrap your hand "I’m just kidding, don’t do that I won't be able to wrap it properly" you whine softly nudging him with your knee which he reciprocates shortly after.
"Look at that, all nice and clean" he smiles squeezing your wrist gently while looking up at you "Thank you, you really didn’t have to do this. I could’ve just had one of them help me" you sigh nodding towards your friends who are silently watching the two of you.
"I wanted to make sure it was done properly, it’s no problem" he shrugs while throwing away the bloodied towel and other things "Well thank you, I appreciate it" you smile shooing him away from you station to stop him from cleaning it all.
"Well i'll see you later...don't use such a big knife next time" he jokes walking towards the door "Yeah, noted" you groan throwing the blood covered onion in the trash "That goes for you guys too, and find your first aid kit!" he calls out pointing towards the first year who came to get him.
"He's just teasing Yamai, ignore him" You smile to yourself when she throws her hands up in confusion "If he's going to patch me up maybe ill knick my finger or something..." you hear a second year girl whisper to her partner while giggling.
"He's not going to come patch you up, he only came because it was y/n" your friend explains causing the two girls to blush softly "That’s not true, i'm sure he'd help..." you mutter secretly knowing she's right, he only came because it was you. The thought makes you smile a bit while you throw your cutting board in the sink.

Hello! I love Yellowstone and I love Kayce's character so much, your fics are great! I was wondering if you'd be willing to write a Kayce Dutton sickfic where there's like a flu or stomach bug or something going around and Kayce catches but refuses to admit it at first until an incident at the barn and the reader takes care of him??
Sickness as Stubborn as You

Climbing down the ladder from the hay loft I kicked up some dust when my boots hit the ground a minute before I heard one of the bunkhouse guys throwing up in one of the horse stalls. Walking over to the stall I peeked my head inside finding Colby bent over throwing up his breakfast from this morning. “Colby, are you alright? You don’t look too good to me.”
“I’m fine, Y/n. Breakfast just- isn’t sitting right with me I guess.” He coughed wiping his hand over his mouth.
Stepping inside the stall I bent down on a knee wrapping Colby’s arm over my shoulder doing the best I could to help him get to the bunkhouse. “Don’t worry about work for today. I’ll make sure Rip doesn’t have your ass for taking a day off because you're sick.”
“Y/n. Colby, what’s going on here?” Footsteps came around the corner revealing Kayce to us. He had come from the direction of the main house and had seen us limping across the road.
I kept walking knowing Colby would feel much better once he got some needed rest. “Colby is sick. He puked in one of the horse stalls so I’m taking him over to the bunkhouse to get some sleep.”
“Here let me help you. You can’t possibly get him there all by yourself.” Kayce came onto the other side of Colby and slung his other arm over his shoulder. Together the three of us made our way to the bunkhouse. Removing Colby’s arm from my shoulder Kayce helped him sit down on the edge of the bed.
Brushing hair out of my face I watched Colby remove his boots and began laying down in his bed. “Thanks for your help, Kayce. I’ll stay here and help if he needs anything else.”
“I think I’ll stay. I don’t think you should be left alone with him.” The youngest Dutton son told me, leaning against the bunkbed with his arms crossed over his chest.
“Kayce, this illness has been going across the whole ranch. I have already had it so I am likely to not get it a second time. You haven’t got it yet so I’m telling you to stay away from here so you don’t get sick or especially get Tate sick.”
The cowboy wouldn’t back down unfortunately like I thought he would when bringing up his son. “I can’t leave you here by yourself. My brothers and sisters would never leave me alone when I was sick. And I wouldn’t leave one of them alone to take care of the other when they were sick.”
“Fine, Dutton. Don’t say I didn’t offer you an out when you had the chance.” I sighed, slumping my shoulders, turning my attention back to the sick cowboy who was passed out asleep in his bunk bed.
True to its word the illness was spreading across the Dutton ranch and had pretty much infected everyone, even Kayce. It had only been a few days since Colby had gotten better and was back to working the ranch. Walking up the wooden stairs and through the front door of the main house I entered the kitchen finding Beth grabbing a bottle of wine from the cabinet. “I got your text. Where is he?”
“He was in his bedroom the last time I saw him - now his ass is falling down the stairs.” She parted her lips before a loud crash rang through the house.
Nodding my head I spun on my feet strolling through the living room and stopping when I came upon Kayce laying against the railing of the stairs. “What are you doing, Kayce?”
“I’m going to work. What does it look like?” He scoffed attempting to get up but he started coughing and was grinning the wood for support.
Sending him a weak smile I sighed softly. “You should be in bed resting because you’re clearly sick.”
“I’m not sick. I’m going to work-“ He tried to take another step down the stairs yet he tripped when he closed his eyes. Racing forward I managed to catch his heavier body in my arms and held him up to stand more upright.
“I’m sorry you thought I was offering that as a suggestion. You are going back to bed this instant and going to get some rest because you are in fact sick.”
Dragging him back up the stairs and down the hallway I kicked opened his bedroom door. Leading him towards his bed I gently pushed him down onto the mattress and bent down to remove his boots. “Lay down and go to sleep, Dutton. I’ve seen it’s the best way to get over this. Oh and also eat a soup that Gator has made for anyone who has gotten this flu. I don’t know what’s in it but it sure as hell does the trick.”
“How have you not gotten sick after taking care of Colby?” Kayce asked me once I had gotten his boots off and was standing over him now.
“I was actually the first person to get the cold. I did my best to avoid the ranch but unfortunately Teeter got it from me and then it kept spreading from there until it landed on you.” Sitting down on the edge of the bed I dropped my gaze to my boots. “I’m sorry about giving it to you.”
Kayce closed his eyes, releasing a heavy breath, laying his head back on the pillows. “It’s okay. Don’t worry - I won’t let this cold keep me down for long.”
“Believe me, Dutton.” Shaking my head I walked closer to him gently placing a kiss on his forehead. “You’re just as stubborn as this cold is. I’ll let you rest now.”
Nearly walking away from him I turned on my feet but he gently grabbed my wrist keeping me in my spot. “Wait Y/n.”
“What do you need, cowboy?” I questioned him.
He gave me the soft puppy dog eyes with those deep brown eyes of his. “Lay down with me would you?”
“Kayce-“ I warned him.
He didn’t seem to care, gently tugging on my wrist he was still holding onto at this moment. “You said you’ve already had this cold. You can’t get the same cold twice I don’t think. So please will you lay down with me for a few.”
“Fine. But only for a little bit.” Slipping my hand out of his grasp I bent down removing my boots. Moving around to the empty side of the bed I crawled underneath the covers and laid my head in the crook of his neck.
Kayce shut his eyes and wrapped his arms around my waist whispering in my ear before I heard him start lightly snoring. “You’re a good doctor.” I smiled up at him relieved that he had finally accepted that he had gotten sick and had crashed out from exhaustion.

"I'll get going."
Bomi kisses your cheek, that sore cheek, sore like every patch of your skin, every bone in your body and every damn muscle, some of them you didn't even know could hurt before today. Hell, you don't even have the strength to give Bomi a proper goodbye, a weak wave is all you can muster up.
She'll not be mad at you. For what might have been either 15 or 150 minutes, you have taken turns on her and Shuhua's pussy—licking, fingering, fucking them until those tight caverns each got a big load in them. In the meantime, Minju has been their plaything. Especially Shuhua has this cruelty towards her "friend", edging her with fingers, reddening her thighs with extremely hard slaps and always promising that she'll get your cock—just to claim you with her pussy again.
You turn around when Bomi closes the door. Shuhua and Minju wrestle on the couch, the latter clearly outmatched when Shuhua puts her in a headlock with her thunder thighs. Minju tries to escape with licks on Shuhua's clit but can't find it—the nightmare of so many guys.
"Cut it out, you two," you groan, fingers on your temple.
"N-no," Minju whines. "Minju still needs cock, wants cum in her tummy!"
"I can't." Point at your limp dick, absolutely spent. "And I have a headache. At this point, I’ll start to hate sex. Fucking hell, I'll make myself tea."
"Oh, I have an idea," Shuhua smirks and reaches for her phone while you leave for the kitchen. Whatever it is, you don’t want to deal with it. You need something relaxing, something herbal, to heal all the soreness in your body. It’s incredible to think that there is something like too much sex. You’re really close to giving up on it, even though two nymphomaniacs have turned your house into sex hub.
“No, no, stay down. You’ll get cock soon,” you hear Shuhua belittle Minju, who just whines in her usual tone. She seems to not be a bit tired after all this.
“Well, it won’t be mine,” you shout back, watching the hot water fill your cup and turn the leaves into something magical.
“Yeah, I know, you’re basically useless at this point.” Ouch, that stings. “That’s why I called back up.”
“You what?!”
“They should be here any minute now.”
Shuhua is spot on. Before your tea is finished steeping, your door bursts open. But instead of a hung man, two rather petite women enter your house. Both have a bored look on their face and immediately get to undressing. Overcoats seem to be the shit right now, and no matter who comes through your front door, they always drop it on the floor.
“Uhm, hello?” you carefully greet them before remembering that this is your home, your kingdom! You can’t let strangers just walk in like they own the place. “This is kinda rude, you know?”
“Don’t care,” says the taller one with long, raven hair, dressed only in jeans. “We have business to do. Also, it’s rude to just stand there, naked, while two ladies walk in.” You blush and hide your crotch with the tea cup.
“We aren’t ladies, stop kidding yourself,” the other snarks back, while climbing out of her skirt. “I bet he is a good fuck, you shouldn’t kill your chances already.”
“Eh, I’ll think about it, but first—” Both girls suddenly pull out two strap-ons from God-knows-where and put them on with the casualness one would wear a fricking hat. The taller one hasn’t even removed her jeans, wearing the harness over it, while the other is fully naked and flaunts her butt at you.
“Yeah, I know, we got shit to do.” The short haired girl slaps her butt and you almost drop the cup when she walks past you with a wink. “Shuhua, where is this needy bitch? Or are you the needy bitch?”
“Oh, it’s so nice to see you, Eunbi and Eunbi,” Shuhua greets them and points at Minju, still trapped in between her fat thighs. “Look who I found.”
“She is insatiable. Incredible that he can still stand,” the shorter Eunbi says.
“Hm, maybe he is a good fuck. Anyways, we’ll try our best to keep her down,” the taller Eunbi says. The three conspirators try to agree on a strategy on how to fuck the angelic girl. You’ve become invisible in your own house, your entry to the living room goes largely unnoticed. Except for Minju who pouts at you when the two Eunbis lift her up and put her in a doggy position. The shorter one is below her, the other is ready to press the plastic cock into Minju’s puckered hole.
"Should we do it at the—nevermind, you're already in." The small Eunbi groans in annoyance, the other looks unapologetic and starts to rut slowly against Minju's butt. The long shaft forcing open Minju’s hole, paired with the denim on her sore, pink buttocks, must feel incredible and incredibly painful at the same time. Who knows which of the two makes Minju wail and moan more.
"Come on, Eunha, shove it in her sex," Shuhua urges on the Eunbi below as she excitedly stares at the unholy sight of fake cocks on ready holes. Her eyes mimic the camera lens for a porn shoot, while you're the director, watching the scene play out. Either way, it's good content.
"Minju's pussy, Minju's ass, so full!" Minju is loud, louder than before. Shuhua is having none of it.
"Shut up. SinB, make her stay quiet. And don't let her cum."
Two hands move to cover Minju's mouth, two cocks move in and out at a rapid pace, two sets of eyes watch on in awe. Satisfied with what crazy madness she has come up with, Shuhua sits down next to you and lazily jerks your cock with two fingers. Oh, that victorious smile, glassy, lewd eyes, you'd love to wipe it off her face.
"You like what you see? Now you don't have to do anything anymore."
"What was that about me being useless?" Grab her by the throat and spit in her face. She looks pissed, you love it. "I came in you, even when Minju was willing to do anything to get my load and now you're still cruel to her? Seems mildly unfair."
"And what are you gonna do about it? Fuck her, if you can."
Shuhua is bratty, but just as much as she is bratty, she is also light. You easily place her nude frame on your thigh, her still dripping, creaming heat right on your skin. She hisses and you tighten your grip on her throat.
"I'm going to make you cum—you know I can, it's super easy—but only if you tell those two friends of yours to make Minju cum until she passes out.”
“Fuck, bastard,” Shuhua hisses. With your thumb on her clit, this is easily the quietest and tamest she has been for hours. Her body twitches, an honest reaction to how much she is addicted to the mind-blowing orgasms you can get out of her. Such a small finger, yet she is squirming, contemplating, faltering.
“Those two are so cruel,” you tell Shuhua, nose deep in her greasy hair. “They fuck her so hard, just to pull out at the last moment. Why do you want to torture Minju so bad?”
“Be-because she needs to get to the-the point.”
“What point?”
“The point where sex is no fun. She can go forever. She will never stop, your—fuck—plan to make her p-pass out, useless.”
This explains a lot. The Angel is insatiable, her lust seems infinite, but Shuhua’s plan—won’t it make things worse? At some point, SinB and Eunha will have to stop and Minju will be more desperate than ever. She will wobble through the house, tackle you the second she sees you and will force your cock in her pussy no matter what. A true tragedy.
“Well, I don’t care,” you say and tug at one of Shuhua’s nipples, she bites her fingers. “You’ve been too greedy, time for her to—”
“Fuck, fine.
“SinB, don’t hold back. Eunha, suck her tits, overstimulate this bitch!”
“What?” the two ask in unison and disbelief.
“Do-don’t ask questions, please, just do it!”
The way the two purple plastic cocks move in and out of Minju with the sole goal of too much pleasure has you satisfied and in a new heat, your cock hardening slowly but surely. With an ever increasing rhythm, you move your thigh up and down and Shuhua starts to ride, her loudness increasing again. She is as close as Minju and it only takes SinB pulling those messed up oak strands, you to rub Shuhua’s clit, for them both to explode.
You focus not on Shuhua shuddering, shaking on you, but at Minju’s expression. Her eyes jump wide, then tears shoot out and flow down, just to be blocked by SinB’s hands on her mouth. She’d be so loud, words messier than her hair would fill the room. After this peak, both collapse. Shuhua meets the floor, Minju falls on top of Eunha, who still thrusts, even spanks the Angel’s ass.
You’re hard again. Where is this going to end?

Little Girl Gone Part 3 (Steddie X You)
Tumblr media
A/N: I tried to grab all the tags! If I missed any let me know :)
Warnings: Gangster Eddie/Officer Steve & Doctor Fem Reader, SMUT, slight degrading, spanking, slapping, handcuffs, etc. FLUFF, more details about the guys relationship,
ANGST, Per the previous chapters cliffhanger we get to meet Jason Carver and he causes problems triggering Eddie to react impulsively. Steve and Y/N spend the bulk of the chapter trying to talk him out of it. Steve and Y/N talk about past relationships, The boys fight but its an understanding between them (you'll see what I mean), technically not a cliffhanger ending this time!
Word Count: 6883
Previous Chapter Here
Clearing your throat, you regained your composure as you feigned a smile and extended your palm out to shake his.
“Hello there Mr. Carver. How can I help you today?”
“Well, like I told the young lady out there, I’m just here for a checkup. I’m embarrassed to say I wasn’t even aware this little office was here and so close to my house!”, he chuckled as he leaned against the counter.
Your head slightly ticked to the side at his statement as you pretended to read his chart. Carver’s side of Hawkins was nowhere near your clinic with you actually being a lot closer to Eddie’s building then any of Jason’s.
“Is that right?”
As the gangster nods, he turns his back to you for a moment to check his phone allowing you to sneak towards your sink and turn on the water as you pretended to wash your hands, utilizing your own device as you call Eddie’s phone.
“If anything happens, you see something or feel unsafe just call my cell. I’m more likely to answer than Steve who’s always on the move.”
Casually fumbling with your hair, you slide the wireless earbud into your ear and slide your device back into your pocket just as Jason turns back around.
“Please forgive me. Didn’t mean to break one of your rules.”, he laughs softly as he points to your “No Cell Phones” sign.
“Hey princess. I was just thinking about you.”, Eddie’s voice sweetly flowed from your phone.
“Oh, don’t worry about it, Mr. Carver. I completely understand.” You heard clicking that sounded like a gun being loaded as you focused on the man in front of you. “Now was there a particular reason you felt like you needed a checkup or did you just wanted to keep up appearances?”
“No Steve, fuck you. I’m not staying put. This fucker has the nerve to come on to MY territory and…well then I’ll meet you there. You better get there before me because I swear to God if this asshole wants a war… The fuck did you just say to me!? Goddamn it!”
“I have to confess; I did have a bit of a reason. My head and my shoulder have really been bothering me.”
“Steve’s on the way, Y/N. He said he’s a couple of minutes away and so am I. Just stay calm, baby.”
“That’s not uncommon with things like…migraines. I, um, I can run some tests and prescribe you some medication that…that will help.”
Jason takes a few steps toward you as he speaks.
“I would appreciate that. It just genuinely feels like I got shot in the forehead or something.”, he chuckles as he moves again till he’s right in front of you.
“I think you should leave.”
“Aw, why? I’ve heard from the community around here that you’d be the person to come to for pain and I’m in a lot of it. You see, I had to bury one of my close friends yesterday.”
“What does that have to do with me?”
“That’s what I’m trying to find out, honey.”
“Don’t call me that.”, you growl making him smirk down at you before pushing some of your hair behind your ear displaying the earbud.
“She seems like a strong one, Munson. Beautiful. Girl in uniform. You definitely have a type.”
“Don’t touch me either.”
“Or what, honey, huh?”
The exam room door flies open as Steve barrels through with his gun drawn.
“Jason. You’re on the wrong side of town.”
“Put me on speaker, Y/N.”
Removing the device from your ear, you do what he says and hold your phone towards the gangster whose eyebrows raise in amusement.
“Is that my favorite rival?”
“Jason… you’re playing with fire. First you come on my territory, kidnap, and hurt Steve. Then you send one of your idiots to point a gun in my face. Normally this would be strike three but I’m giving you an out here. Stay away from them and off my side of Hawkins and we’ll do the same.”
“You know, Eddie, that sounds like a sweet deal. Let me talk it over with my team and…oh wait. You killed half my team.”
“You hurt the man I love. You started this… Don’t play the victim now.”
“No, you know who’s a victim? Andrew, Patrick, Samuel, and all of my other friends you killed.”, he sneered as his eyes met your own. “Soon you’ll know what it feels like. You won’t know when or where, freak, but I assure you I will be there when your pig and little whore here become victims to. Unless… you want to switch sides and come with me, pretty girl.”
As his hand reached out to touch your face, your fist reached out to punch him, knocking him backwards just in time for Steve to move forward, grab your wrist, and pull you behind him.
“Like you said, asshole, I have a type. She’s a lot stronger than she seems. However…”
The door to the room opens again as Eddie saunters in cocking his gun and points it in the other man’s face.
“If you ever pull a stunt like this again or lay one hand on her, there will be nowhere you could run where we wouldn’t find you. I’m not Allen, Jason. I’m not going to let the stupid bullshit you used to do slide.”
Moving aside to stand by Steve, he allowed the gangster to stand and adjust his suit as he headed for the door.
“You’re right, Munson. You aren’t Allen. The streets ran better with him in charge and you’re nothing like him. You may think these people respect you but I assure you they pity you.”, he spat before leaving the way he came.
The officer immediately turned around and cupped your head in his hands.
“Are you ok, honey? You did really good.”
You aggressively nod, gripping his wrist as you lean your forehead against his.
“Yeah, I’m ok. What does this mean?”
“It means I fucking slaughter that asshole and show him exactly how people respect me.”, Eddie grumble as tucked away his weapon.
“No, it doesn’t. That’s something impulsive Allen would do but not you.”
The gangster chuckled under his breath casually walking towards the officer, placing himself mere inches from him with a stoic expression but eyes filled with fury.
“That’s the second time today you, Steven, have insinuated I’m acting like my father and second person today to compare me to him. I am the boss of the Munson crew and I know how to handle my business. Now, go back to being the dirty cop and shut the fuck up.”
“I’m dirty because of you, babe. Everything I do is for you.”
“Wait…”, you begged as you step between them, each man prepared to duke it out here in your exam room. “Wait, don’t do this here. We can talk about it tonight in your loft.”
“We?”, Eddie sneered as he backed away. “You two can come over but the conversation will be the same. I know what I’m doing and neither of you have any say but especially you, little girl.”
“The head of a gang just threatened my life. I’m allowed to have an opinion on this.”
“Edward Munson, don’t do anything till we talk or I swear to God, I will arrest you and take you in myself.”
The gangster bit his bottom lip, huffing at he turned to leave.
“Well then bring your handcuffs, sweetheart, because you will need them.”
##############
Steve stayed with you the rest of the day and after you got off, drove with you to Eddie’s building. As soon as you both stepped in you could feel the energy buzzing around what happened.
“Hey Marcus. Please tell me he’s at least in his apartment.”
“Yes, sir, Mr. Harrington, but he has had people coming and going.”
“Great. Thanks, bud.”
The man behind the desk smiles at you as you wave politely, your other hand firmly locked with the officer’s as he led you to the elevator.
“Is this normal? Have you ever seen him like this?”, you ask.
“Uh, yeah, but not at this scale.” As the door to the elevator closes, he sighs before turning to face you. “We meant what we said, Y/N, about not hurting you or anything like that but we both can get feisty when we’re heated. If anything makes you feel uncomfortable or you get scared just say that word we taught you, ok?”
The entire week you stayed with them after what happened with Andrew, you not only spent that time getting to know each other but they explained some rules they like to follow when it comes to “playing rough.” Steve told you that due to their line of work sometimes they liked to take out their stresses on each other which made you giggle at the time when his eyes playfully rolled back.
“We like to go all out, you know? Slapping, choking, degrading… of course, honey, you don’t have to do any of that.”
“I don’t mind you doing any of that. Just don’t like punch me or cut me.”
“Sweetheart, we aren’t into that kinda thing either. Trust me, we see it enough out there.”, Eddie teases as he points absently towards the window. “If you don’t like something we’re doing or you need us to stop just say ‘Red’, alright?”
“Yes, sir.”
“Oh, Munson. She has manners. I like that.”
“Yes, sir.”
The officer grins as he leans down to kiss your lips.
As soon as you enter Eddie’s apartment you’re stunned by the chaos around you. There were guns laid out in random sections of the living room with a gigantic map of Hawkins on the coffee table. Walking further in, you noticed pieces of glass shattered against the wall with liquid that smelled like bourbon surrounding it.
“Ed, this is a rash jump. Shouldn’t the retaliation be level with the offense? A war seems…extreme.”
“Alright, Gareth, what would be level for openly threatening me and the people I care about, hm? Kill more insignificant lackies? Steal some of his product? No. If this is what he wants then I’m going to give it to him.”
“Jesus, man. You sound like—” The gangster’s angry glare cut him off as he rose to his feet, relief panting his features when he noticed Steve. “You know we’d follow you anywhere but we…I really think you should reevaluate your strategy.”
Eddie ignores him as he holds his current glass of alcohol in his hand to his forehead as he continues to focus on the image in front of him. The officer pats Gareth shoulder comfortingly as he leaves and you exhale your nerves as you watch these two men you’ve grown fond of interact.
***
“I see you didn’t wait for me.”, Steve sighed with agitation.
“You’re right, I didn’t, but I haven’t made any definitive moves yet so you’re right on time to say your peace.”
“Eddie, I’m not playing around. If you start a gang war in the middle of Hawkins, I will arrest you and throw you in a cell myself. If you want to act like your dad then I can treat you like him.”
The long-haired man slammed his glass against the table and rose to his feet, striding angrily towards the officer before shoving him furiously in the chest.
“Last time you tried that, babe, we barely made it halfway down the street before you were fucking me and letting me go! You think now you can follow through? After everything we’ve been through? Now that you love me.”
Steve stepped forward shoving the man back with his broad chest.
“With no hesitation, honey. I’d be doing it because I love you. I’m not going to let you get innocent people and/or yourself killed! There are other ways we can do this, Eddie.”
“There’s no other way. I’m tired of his cocky, entitled attitude and I gave him plenty of leeway! His response was to hurt you, threaten me, and intimidate Y/N? No. I won’t have that disrespect!”
“Eddie, doing this won’t gain you that respect. If anything, you’ll lose more or all of it.”, you added trying to help.
“Oh, sweetheart, if anyone has less say in this, it’s you.”
“My life is now on the line to as well as those innocent people Steve mentioned. I see and heal them every day! You told me when we first met that you didn’t kill people you didn’t have to. You don’t have to do this.”
Eddie glared into his boyfriend’s eyes as he reached for his phone and started dialing.
“Hey, Jeff. Yeah, get everything together and—”
Steve hand flew, knocking the device from the gangster’s hand as he tumbled to the side and caught himself on the couch.
“Jeff, it’s Steve. Ignore that order. As a matter of fact, all of you head home for the night, ok? Mr. Munson and I need to have a talk so he won’t be making anymore decisions tonight.”
With exception force, he threw the phone hard against the wall, not even flinching when it shattered. Both men stared each other down as the fury burned around them and you’d be lying if you said watching them angerly pant as their dominance oozed from them didn’t turn you on a bit.
Eddie lunged toward him and you watched in aw as both men began to fight each other. The officer got the upper hand, pinning him to the floor, and pressing his knee into his shoulder blades as he handcuffed his hands behind his back.
“Be careful, Steve! He’s still healing.”
Rolling him onto his back, he checked the gangster’s wound that was exposed due his shirtless physique that had Steve not just checking his side but his entire upper body.
“Why are you acting so impulsively? This isn’t like you.”
“Well, this feels familiar. You sizing me up while I’m on my back, handcuffed. I’m starting to think the reason you restrain me is because you can’t control me without it. Just like how you think threatening to take me in will get me to submit to what you want.”
Keeping both knees straddling his waist, Steve’s palms caressed his stomach around to his back, his eyes never leaving his boyfriend’s as he removed the cuffs accepting the challenge.
“I can control you just fine without restraints. Now… are you done with your tantrum, little boy, or should we keep going?”
The condescension in his partner’s voice infuriated the gangster as he smacked him in the face and tried to throw him off him. This just spurred Steve on more as he grabbed the man’s wrists and held them to the floor.
“Honey, can you help me?”
Nodding, you scurried his way and when his eyes gestured towards his belt, you immediately unbuckled it, even going the extra step of pulling out his cock for him.
“Thank you, pretty girl.”, he coos, tilting his head towards you so you could kiss his lips as Eddie struggled beneath him. “See? She’s a good girl.”
“She IS a good girl. That’s why I’m doing this; to protect her.”
“Don’t. Don’t say you’re doing this for us, Eddie, because we don’t want you to do this.”
The gangster’s jaw clenched at your words causing Steve to sigh in frustration as he leaned down till the tip of his cock was resting on his lips.
“Open.” When his partner remained still, the pretty boy rolled his eyes, shuffling the man’s hands into one of his own so he could free his other to reach behind him and place it on the massive bulge in his slacks. “OPEN.”
Eddie’s eyes fluttered as Steve continued to massage him and without prompting you slide towards the gangster’s waist and unbuckled his pants as well.
“All the way off, baby. He needs to be exposed and vulnerable because that seems to be what he’s into now a days. Right, little boy? That’s what this move you’re planning will do.”
When Eddie moaned, Steve turned to see just as you were running your tongue down the veins of the man’s length.
“She’s a lot nicer than I am because I assure you I’m not going to be that gentle. Now…OPEN.”, he growled.
He tried to remain steadfast but when your lips enveloped him, Eddie couldn’t help but groan allowing Steve to slide into his awaiting mouth. Releasing him from his hold, the officer balanced his hands above his boyfriend’s head as he thrust into him as you lightly mewled at the feeling of Eddie’s palms petting your hair.
“Fuck. That’s it. Keep that sassy fucking mouth open for me.”
Coming around to their front, you help Steve remove his shirt before leaning down beside Eddie’s forehead to tenderly move his hair away from his face. Even though they were upset, both men sighed at the action. You were a nice contrast to their rough lifestyle, not just when you played but in their relationship as well.
“Eddie, please, there’s another way we can do this without people getting hurt.”
Wrapping his arms around his waist, the gangster flipped the officer over and you slid back a bit to allow them to wrestle. You noticed immediately that a lot of Eddie’s fight had decreased especially when Steve’s back hit the wall as he circled his legs around him, locking the long-haired boy in a position that had him thrown over his lap on his stomach with his ass exposed.
Gripping his wrists again in one hand, the other free one came down hard on his behind making Eddie groan.
“She’s talking to you and she’s right, Ed.” Squirming against his hold, Steve’s hand came down again. “Why are you being so stubborn about this?!”
“FUCK YOU!”
His deep, authoritative voice startled you but not his partner as his palm came down once more before sucking on two of his fingers and sliding them into his entrance.
“Are you trying to prove something? Everyone already knows you’re a badass to be feared if needed.” Eddie moaned as Steve’s fingers tapped that spot inside of him that drove him crazy. “You keep saying it’s a respect thing but I don’t believe you. People respect you except that fucking, preppy moron but that’s one man. We don’t need to kill a bunch of people to prove a point to him.”
Steve spanked him again as he mused.
“Is it me?”, you asked in a small voice that makes Eddie’s head hang as his hair blocks his face. “Is it because of what we talked about…about how I’m another vulnerability?”
“I won’t allow anyone to fucking hurt you.”, he grumbled as his eyes shot up to meet yours. “Anyone.”
With incredible force, Steve pushed him off his lap and rose to his feet, pulling up his pants, and collecting you in his arms before carrying you up the stairs to the bedroom.
“Grab anything you may need, honey. We’re going to my place.”
“You have a place?”
“Yeah. Can’t really have it on record that I live with a gangster.”, he chuckles, his face hardening as Eddie enters the room. “You promised me that you wouldn’t let your feelings for me affect what you did out there. We agreed that extended to her when we decided to bring her into our world. If you really want to fucking burn down Hawkins to show the city that we are yours then we’ll remove ourselves from the fucking equation. Oh, and she’s not a vulnerability. Personally, I think she’s one of our strengths. One of the few fucking positive things about us and in our lives.”
“Why do you think I’m trying to protect her?!”
“EXCUSE ME! But haven’t I protected you two?!”, you angrily spit towards Eddie. “You I’ve saved twice, remember? I don’t NEED you to protect me. I can protect myself just fine. I like knowing I have you two there for me though. I…I make myself vulnerable FOR you. That doesn’t mean I’m weak. I’m not afraid of Jason Carver. If anything, I’m more afraid of you right now and what you might do.”
Eddie let out a heavy sigh as his palm flew up to his chest. Taking a hold of your hand, Steve led you past the brokenhearted gangster and out the front door.
##############
Grinning softly, you took in the new dwelling Steve had brought you to. It was a modest, brick interior, studio apartment on the fifth floor of a complex that had a good view of the city. The walls were pretty much bare except for the couple of pictures of sports cars and near his bed his certificate of graduation from the police academy. In the corner, he had set up a little gym area with weights and a treadmill with the same fantasy book off to the side that you remembered on Eddie’s nightstand.
When you flashed it to him questioningly, he smiled.
“Eddie loves that crap. Whenever he babbles about it, I at least want to know what he’s talking about.”
On his nightstand, he placed his badge and gun right beside the medication you prescribed him making you beam when you see he had been following your instructions. Beside his lamp and phone charger was a framed photo of him and Eddie different from the one the gangster had. In his photo, Eddie was on a kitchen counter somewhere with his legs reaching to wrap around Steve’s waist as his ringed fingers tugged at the collar of his shirt to bring him closer. Their lips were inches apart, noses just barely touching as Steve smirked down at him.
“We need to get a picture of you so we both can have one.”
“Does it worry you? Like if you invite a friend over who’s on the force and they see that?”
“Sweetheart, I don’t know if you noticed but I’m kind of an asshole. I don’t have many friends.”, he laughs breathily as he runs his fingers through his hair and takes a seat beside you.  “The friends I do have know about us. If I ever go somewhere work related or with any of the other officers I usually go to their places. And of course, I’m the only cop that goes to his place so…”
Your own fingers tenderly reach out to caress his cheek and run down his muscular back making him sigh as he closes his eyes.
“Are you ok?”
“Yeah… I’m just…I’m just worried. I really don’t want him to this.”
“Would you genuinely take him in like you said?”
“I would. Which means I would most likely get arrested to.” Opening his eyes, he glances your way seeing the slight confusion as he continues. “If I just brought him, it wouldn’t be enough. I’d have to tell them how I knew it was him and then everything else but…at least he’d be safe. Unless they send him to the same place his dad is at…Fuck.”, he groans as he rubs his palms over his face.
“What would happen to me?”
His head abruptly turned at your question as he became more serious.
“Nothing, baby. I promise. You’d be safe. Eddie has people that would watch over you for us and of course anything else you may need they can get it.”
“I need you two.”, you cry as your head hangs. “I like you both so much… I don’t want to lose you.” Steve’s arm shot out to pull you to him so he could hold you tightly to his chest. “God, what is wrong with me? I’ve never been this, I don’t know, clingy before.”
“We tend to have that effect on women.” He laughs and pretends to flinch when you pull away to lightly slap his arm. “Does it bother you? I mean do you like it?”
“I do. It scares me a little bit sometimes. Eddie says we’re his vulnerabilities but for me…being open like this…in that particular headspace… Most men are always intimidated by me when they first meet me and lately I struggled to get past that first date. My last relationship…didn’t end well…so I put all my energy into finishing my PhD and working.”
“I can understand that. I did the same thing after my last relationship. It’s part of the reason I had the balls to go after Eddie. I did so much reconnaissance and sleuthing that I thought I had enough to bring in the leader of a mafia gang. He, uh, wasn’t what I thought he would be.”
“Kind?”
“Goofy. He told me a dad joke that made me laugh. By the time we got near the station, I didn’t want to let him go. Over the past 10 months, I’ve learned how sweet, nerdy, and adorable he can be.”
“I learned the same thing about you.” Steve scrunched his nose as he laughed at you. “I did. You were a bit of a jerk and I thought you hated me.”
“I told you I’m a jerk!”, he grinned till you both calmed down and he tenderly petted your head. “No, baby, I didn’t hate you.”
A knock on the door had you both more alert as he placed his finger over his mouth in a shushing motion while he reached for his weapon. Rising to your feet in preparation, you watched as he slowly moved towards the sound, exhaling after looking through his peephole.
Lowering his weapon, he opens the door to a disgruntled Eddie who barges through and throws his leather jacket on the couch, his face instantly softening when he sees yours.
“Why are you crying? Is everything ok?”
You wipe your face as he hurries towards you, giving you a once over as you nod.
“Yeah, Eddie. I’m ok. We were just talking about you…how much we care about you.”
“Why are you here, Munson? Don’t you have a massacre to dictate?”
Blinking, he readjusts himself so he can address you both.
“Steve, when you showed up at my door after Carver’s guys jumped you, it scared the hell out of me. You were in so much pain and…”, his voice cracks before clearing his throat as he continues. “I remember what it was like having the shit kicked out of me and the fact that someone had the balls to do that to someone I love; someone that’s mine. I saw red. When Jason showed up at her work threatening to do the same…Baby, I lost my fucking mind.”
“Clearly.”, Steve chided, sighing when you flashed him a stern look. “She’s not just yours, you know. It’s not solely on you to watch out for her. You don’t think when I saw him pressing up against her and calling her a whore I didn’t want to shoot that motherfucker then and there? You’re also mine, Eddie, and if I have to arrest you to keep you alive…”
“Are you still going to go through with it? Going after Jason?”, you ask, relief washing over you when he folds his arms and shakes his head.
“You both were right. There are other ways we can attack him without innocent people getting hurt.” The gangster’s beautiful chocolate hues glance towards you. “I’m sorry I scared you.” As your arms wrap around him, he exhales heavily into your hair as his fingers cling to you. “I’m sorry, sweetheart. I’m so fucking sorry.”
“It’s ok—”
“No, it’s not.”, he scolds himself as he tilts your head back to look at him. “Don’t you ever let either of us get away with bullshit like that. It’s one thing to dominate you. It’s another to frighten you. We don’t want to do that with you.”
“So, what I’m hearing, Edward Munson, is that you need to be punished.”, Steve teases causing the other man’s eyes to playfully narrow as he bows towards his boyfriend extending his arms on either side.
“I’m all yours, Officer.”
“Hm.”
Grinning, he steps forward, placing himself directly in front of him before forcefully turning him to face you as he pats him down.
“God this feels so vaguely familiar.”
“Because it’s been done so many times in the past?”
“Only by you, baby.”
Steve’s face hardens as he spanks the man in front of him as he leans over his shoulder to whisper in his ear.
“Stop talking. You’re in a lot of trouble.”
You watch with intense desire as his palm glides over the gangster’s pockets and reroutes around to the bulge in his slacks. Eddie groans as he licks his lips, his hips slightly grinding to find more friction.
“Too bad you were a bad little boy. We could have been sucking you cock right now or you could be sinking it into her tight, wet pussy. But no… you had to play big man in Hawkins, didn’t you?” When his boyfriend doesn’t answer, he spanks him again. “Didn’t you?”
“Ah, fuck. Yes.”
Abruptly grabbing his wrists, Steve handcuffs them behind Eddie’s back, guiding him towards his mattress, and tossing him stomach first onto his bed.
“Can you do me a favor, sweet girl?”
Stepping closer to him, you allow him to murmur instructions to you making you nod before lightly kissing his lips. After completely disrobing, you climb on to the bed in front of Eddie and per the officer’s instructions, open your legs wide for him to see.
“Fuck, angel. You’re so fucking beautiful.”, he compliments in a strained tone as the other man reached underneath him to remove the gangster pants and boxers.
“Yeah? You like my pussy, baby?” Scooting a bit closer to him, you bite your bottom lip and grin as he nods, tilting his head to kiss your inner thigh. As his kisses trail further up towards your legs, you push yourself back, denying him what he desperately wants. “Oh, I’m sorry. Officer Harrington said you weren’t allowed.”
Steve smirks over his shoulder as he listens to Eddie whine while hanging his head.
“No, hey, keep your eyes on her.”, he scolds, gripping his jaw and forcing his head up.
The long-haired boy groans as your fingers glide effortlessly through your folds, the sound of your wetness making him harder as he tries to relieve the pressure by rutting into the mattress. His boyfriend roughly loops his arms through his own, bringing his back to his chest as he guides his cock into his entrance.
“Fuck, baby, that’s it.”
You had never really been privy to seeing them be sexually intimate and you never initiated any of that in the bedroom. You wanted them to feel comfortable especially since you were the newcomer to the relationship and dynamic. Seeing them now as Steve slammed his hips into Eddie’s, lifting and holding his upper half with his arms alone as the gangster practically drooled mewling his name; it was the sexist thing you had ever seen.
A small cry left your throat as you pushed two of your fingers into your needy hole.
“Aw, look what you’re doing to her, honey. She wants your mouth in her cunt so bad. I bet you do to, huh?”
“I-I—fuck—I’m sorry.”, he sighed exasperatingly.
“I’m sure you are.” Pulling out, he smacked his ass before bouncing on to the bed on his back and man handling his boyfriend till he was positioned over his cock. “You better ride my dick fucking hard.” Holding the base, both men moaned as he lowered himself on to his firm length and did what he commanded. “Mmm—fuck—come here, Y/N.”
After crawling over to him, he tugged your arm and shifted your body till you were sitting directly on his face.
“I got you, baby.”
Steve wasted no time, his fingers digging into your thighs as his thick, masterful tongue went to work. Eddie watched you both with glassy, lust filled eyes as he bounced and grinded on the man he loved. Leaning towards him, you couldn’t help but capture his lips and was surprised when the officer allowed it.
“I’m sorry, sweetheart. I really am. Fuck, his cock feels so fucking good.”
“I forgive you, Eddie. I forgive you. YES! Steve, please. I need him.”
His hold around you tightened as he shook his head between your legs, his lips making obscene slurping sounds as he flicked his tongue against your clit at an overwhelming pace.
Panting, your body trembled as you came as his tongue continued with its assault, elongating your high. After a soft kiss to your thigh and a firm tap of your ass, you climbed off him, waiting for instruction. Sitting up, he grabbed Eddie’s cheeks and kissed him passionately making the gangster groan at the taste of you on his boyfriend’s mouth.
“I’m sorry, Steve. You know how I am sometimes.”
“Hot headed? Stubborn? A pain in my ass?” They both chuckled softly, the officer running his thumb along his lips. “We talk to each other right? Figure things out together.”
“Yeah, baby, we do.”
“ALL of us. That includes her now. She makes us stronger.”
“Yeah, she does.”, Eddie smiled as he glanced your way wishing he could touch you.
Giving him one final kiss, Steve leans back and pats his lower stomach.
“Come here, honey.” Taking his hand, you let him direct you till you were straddling him with the other man’s cock teasing your pussy lips. “You’ll have to slide back on him but he should be able to do the rest.”
Nodding your head, you reach behind you to hold his length as you guide him inside of you.
“Oh my fucking God.”, Eddie growls as you mewl at the stretch.
Steve’s large palms grip your hips as his boyfriend start’s bouncing and thrusting his own.
“Does that feel good, Y/N?”
“S-So good.”
“Shit. You’re both so fucking sexy That’s it. Just let go and take it like a good girl.”
Your breasts hang perfectly in front of his face and when his mouth attaches to your nipple, your pussy clenches around Eddie making him whimper as he picks up his pace.
“Please, Eddie. Make me cum.”
As he does his best to honor your request while restrained, Steve licks his thumb and massages your clit driving you crazy as you push up and lean against the gangster’s chest. You feel him grunt into your shoulder as he releases inside of you, you following as you moan his name into the ceiling. After lightly spanking you, you collapse to the side and watch as Eddie falls forward knowing the man he loves will be there as Steve cups his cheeks and thrusts roughly upwards chasing his own high.
“That’s it, Eddie, baby. Take it, take it, take it. That’s my good boy. Fuck.”
They both groan as the man underneath him thrusts his spend deep inside of him, his mouth falling open as he pants against his lips.
“I love you so much, Steven, fuck. I love you.”
As the gangster croons into his neck and they continue to whisper admiration for each other, you tip toe towards the officer’s set of keys and quietly reappear to free him. His palms promptly come to pet the boy’s head, kissing his forehead before playfully wrapping his arms around you and dragging you over Steve to place you between them.
A warm feeling washes over you as both men roll on to their side to nuzzle their noses against your cheeks as they hold you.
You aren’t sure when you fell asleep or for how long but the strong, delicious smell of pasta caused your eyes to flutter open. Eddie was still knocked out beside you but due to the small space you could see Steve with his bare back to you in sweats at the stove. One of his shirts had been placed by the bed and you smiled as you slid it on, shuffling towards him.
“Hey you. I’m making dinner if you’re hungry.” His grin grows when you nod, turning his attention back to his sizzling pan. Hopping up, on to the nearby stool by his counter, you notice a file with Jason’s name on it.
“May I?”
Glancing that way, he hesitates for only a moment before giving his approval.
The file itself was thick with photos and notes of Carver’s gang showing that the officer really did take his job seriously as you browsed through the details. Kind of like Eddie his father passed the reigns to his son Jason but unlike him, his father was still out and walking freely. He seemed to still have a bit of sway when it came to the clan itself but otherwise he trusted his son. He had been running things for a couple of years before Eddie took over and due to the change Steve noted a few things you found disturbing.
“Hey. Put that down and try this.”  You smile as he holds a spoon to your lips and he beams with pride when make a tiny yum noise as he turns back around. “My mom was actually a pretty good cook. She taught me a thing or two.”
“Jesus Christ, it smells good in here.”, Eddie announced, grabbing a desk chair and sliding obnoxiously loud over to you two making you laugh. While tilting up to kiss you, he yanks the file from your grasp. “Bad Officer Harrington. Letting her snoop.”
“She’s not snooping. She asked and I said it was alright.”
“I’m glad you’re not going after him, Ed. There’s some things in there…”
“Yeah. Jason Carver is a prick. I’m surprised his dad lets him get away with half the shit he does but unless George Carver deems you worthy so to speak he doesn’t give a damn.”
Your head shot up as an idea hit you.
“Wait a second, Hawkins does a charity thing every year where the wealthy show up to throw money at causes to make them feel better about themselves.”
“Yeah, my parents go to that.”, Steve replied with a hint of sarcasm you didn’t miss.
“My dad was always invited but never went. He never felt the need to pretend to be a good man.”
“But that’s why I never went. I had heard that the head of the Carver’s attended.” They both continue to stare at you with confused eyes causing you to let out a frustrated sigh as you rise to your feet. “The sponsors of that party have funds for Hawkins medical funds but the bulk of it goes to that general hospital. I’m still always invited…if I wanted to mingle with the donors…make an impression… Come on, guys.”
“Honey, just say what’s on your mind.”
“I can go with Eddie and we can talk to Jason’s dad. Maybe somehow convince him to get his son to leave us alone.”
They exchange a look before the gangster finally speaks.
“Y/N, sweetheart, that means you’d have be seen with me and not just by the Carvers. My team, a few of our friends, and apparently Jason somehow knows about Steve but otherwise he’s hidden. If we go to this event with you on my arm, EVERYONE will know.”
“Including the police, baby. Which means you could have more eyes on you and pressure pushed when it comes to him.”
Your head hangs as you fiddle with your fingers.
“I would never turn you over or tell them anything. I swear…”
“No, honey.”, Steve quickly explains. “We aren’t worried about that. We just don’t want you to be uncomfortable. Of course, we can protect you in that regard from getting into any kind of legal trouble.”
“Your family and friends will have something to say—”
“I don’t have much family and I work 24/7 so I don’t have time for friends. Honestly, the only thing I care about is that clinic, my patients, and you two.” The genuinely smile at that last bit making you blush. “I do. I care about you very much. It’s been a long time since I felt like I wasn’t just coasting through life. These past couple of weeks I’ve really enjoyed having someone to talk to, to hold me, even just hear someone tell me I’m fucking beautiful.”
Eddie gets to his feet and tenderly kisses your lips.
“You are beautiful, angel. Ok, I need to take you shopping so we can get you a new dress.”
“Oh, you don’t have to—”
“I know I don’t HAVE to. I want to.”, he grins. “We need to go over some rules and things if we are going to pull this off. “
“I can come to. Since my parents are attending, it wouldn’t be odd for me to be there and I can keep an eye on you two.”
“My knight in shining handcuffs and a holster gun.” Steve sticks out his tongue as Eddie giggles like a little kid. “Alright, princess, this won’t be the last time I ask but are you sure you want to do this?”
Your gaze shifts between them as a heavy sigh exits from your lungs.
“I’m sure.”

IT WAS LATE TUESDAY EVENING. Makima was throwing another Newbie welcome party. Your husband had refused to come, saying something about a meeting he had, something about a schedule conflict before kissing your cheek and walking out. You were standing in the lobby of the reception hall, black cocktail dress on, lips painted red, makeup compact open in your palm while you scrutinized your reflection.
It was 7 PM, the party had started an hour ago, and still, no call from Aki. You told yourself you hadn’t gotten dressed up for him, but as you caught a glimpse of the red against your skin, you wondered just a bit what he’d think when he saw you tonight. A trace of a smile slipped across your lips as you brushed a finger along the edge of your liner, thinking about his sharp, quiet gaze, the way he always looked like he was sizing up a storm in his head.
The thought made you shift on your heels, scanning the room. Seven on the dot, and still no Aki. Strange.
You closed the compact, slipping it into your clutch just as a familiar figure sidled up beside you, grinning.
“Well, now this is something,” Himeno teased, her eyes dancing as she took in your appearance. “You’ve actually arrived before your shadow.”
You laughed, rolling your eyes at her. “Where is he, anyway?”
Himeno gave a nonchalant shrug, twirling a lock of her hair between her fingers. “Think you just missed him, actually. Stepped out with Denji not too long ago,” she hummed, her eyes glinting with a playful spark. “Should be back any minute. Why? Missing your boyfriend already?”
So he is here early. Typical.
A smile played on your lips as you leaned against the bar. “Not my boyfriend,” you corrected, though the denial felt softer than you intended. “But… maybe I am.”
Himeno smirked, nudging you with her elbow. “Oh, I see how it is. All dolled up just for him, huh?”
You laughed again, brushing off the comment. “I dressed up for the event. For everyone. Not for him.”
“Right,” Himeno replied, raising her eyebrows with an exaggerated nod. “You just happened to pick out the dress that’ll make Aki’s brain short-circuit when he sees it.”
Your cheeks warmed slightly, but you refused to let her get to you. “He’ll have to behave,” you said, though you weren’t convinced by the words.
The grand hall was alive with a soft golden glow, tall windows adorned with silk drapes framing the nighttime skyline, and chandeliers casting a warm, intimate light over everything below. Tables lined the walls, each decorated with carefully arranged flowers, while guests mingled in clusters, laughter and conversation creating a steady, harmonious hum. There was an elegance to the space that made you feel like you'd stepped into a scene far removed from the typical demands of the job—almost like you were someone else, someone not bound by secrets or silent glances.
Himeno looped her arm through yours as the two of you wandered further inside, catching up on the usual things—how busy work had been, what new, funny things you’d overheard around the office.
Her eyes sparkled knowingly as she looked at you, amused, before an acquaintance of hers called her over. With an apologetic grin, she squeezed your shoulder, murmuring, “I’ll be back. Try not to get too distracted while I’m gone.”
Left on your own, you wandered among the elegantly dressed guests, your heart racing just a bit faster than usual. You could feel some eyes turning your way—polite, indifferent, but still, enough to make you wonder if they knew something you didn’t want them to. Did they sense the quickening of your pulse, the way you searched the crowd almost instinctively? Or worse, could they somehow know about Aki, and the way your thoughts always seemed to find their way back to him?
With Himeno gone, you found yourself adrift, wandering slowly around the room, unsure of where to settle. The crowd was thick with people, faces both familiar and unfamiliar, all talking, laughing, glasses of champagne in hand. As you moved through the clusters of guests, you could feel it—that prickling sensation at the back of your neck. Glances were being cast your way, fleeting and sideways, some lingering a beat too long before they shifted back to their conversations. You tried to convince yourself it was just because of the dress, or maybe because you weren't blending in as easily as you thought, but the feeling lingered.
The more eyes you caught, the harder it was to ignore the creeping suspicion that there was something more behind them. Did they know? You kept your expression serene, calm, but beneath that calm, questions twisted and tangled. Maybe someone had noticed the way you and Aki sometimes gravitated toward each other at work, the rare glances that lasted a fraction too long, the way you'd sometimes linger in doorways as though waiting for him to appear.
And if they did know—what were they thinking? The thought made your stomach clench. There was no denying the potential consequences if people found out, if whispers started. The idea of your connection with Aki being exposed, stripped of the privacy you’d both guarded so carefully, sent a jolt of unease through you. You couldn’t bear the idea of becoming fodder for office gossip, or worse, risking his reputation.
An unbidden thought wormed its way in: Would he still care if people found out? Or would he just carry on, unaffected? You shook it off, annoyed at yourself for even entertaining it. Aki had always been the careful one, the one with more at stake, and you knew he wasn’t the type to let others get in the way of what mattered to him.
But here, surrounded by strangers, you felt uncomfortably bare, like people could see right through you. You felt as if your secret was etched across your face for anyone who bothered to look.
Then, just as you were considering slipping away to find a quiet corner, a voice, smooth and familiar, cut through the noise behind you. “Can I have the honor of bringing you a drink?”
You spun around, and there he was, standing close, his icy blue gaze meeting yours with that easy warmth that managed to quiet every doubt swirling in your head. His smile was subtle, restrained, yet there was a certain spark in his eyes, as though he could see right past the formalities, past the anxiety.
“Aki,” you breathed, your voice barely a whisper.
“Long time, no see, troublemaker,” he replied lightly, but the warmth in his eyes betrayed him. “You looked like you could use a drink,” he added, holding out a glass. As you took it, your fingers brushed, and for just a second, the world narrowed to that point of contact, every stare, every doubt slipping away, as though he were all that mattered.
“Behave. We’re in public,” You reminded him gently – the way a teenage girl would tell her boyfriend to ‘Stawwwwp’ when he play-fought with her. You were sick, you really were.
He quirked a brow, “I don’t think I did anything remarkable by buying you a drink.”
“People already talk,” You replied. “You don’t think it’s strange that the hardass Captain Hayakawa warmed up to one of his subordinates so quickly despite only having met her in public a handful of times?”
He shrugged as if he couldn’t possibly care less. “Let them talk, then. You look beautiful tonight.”
And, like you were 16 all over again, your cheeks warmed at his words. You took a cheeky little sip of the drink he had brought you – Merlot. Your favorite wine. This close to him, you could smell his cologne – that scent you knew so well, combined with the faintest hint of his detergent, of nicotine. You had spent half of the past few months tangled in his sheets. You would have been able to recognize him with your eyes closed, truly.
“And you’re misbehaving,” You retorted, a tongue-in-cheek comment that you knew he would make you eat when he got you alone.
“Who’s responsible for that?” He answered back without missing so much as a beat. Stepping closer to you, damn near crossing that line between ‘we’re coworkers’ and ‘she and I are having an affair’, he dropped his voice, “That dress looks amazing on you.”
You couldn’t help the grin that took over your face. The warmth that churned in your gut. “Thank you.”
The two of you began to walk around the room. As you strolled alongside Aki, conversation slipping easily between you, you couldn’t ignore the sense of being watched. It was subtle at first—a flicker of movement in your periphery, a quiet murmur that seemed to fade whenever you glanced around.
But then, you caught sight of them: curious eyes fixed on you, darting quickly away when you noticed, but not quickly enough. Their expressions held that familiar mix of polite interest and quiet judgment, a slight narrowing of brows that sent a wave of unease crawling up your spine.
The stares felt sharper, cutting through the careful facade you were trying so hard to maintain. Your heart raced as a thought wormed its way into your mind: They all know.
You shot a glance at Aki, feeling the heat rise to your face. The easy, flirtatious air you’d shared just moments ago suddenly felt fragile, as if it might shatter under the weight of so many eyes. You swallowed hard, nerves turning to panic. If anyone suspected even a fraction of what lingered between you and Aki, it would spread like wildfire. You couldn’t bear to think about the consequences—for him, for you.
Just as the realization started to sink in, you felt a presence at your side, and there she was—Himeno. Without missing a beat, she slid her arm around yours and Aki’s, drawing both of you closer with an effortless ease that seemed to diffuse the tension around you. Her voice cut through the silence with cheerful bravado, clearly meant to distract any lingering gazes. “There you two are! I was just talking to someone about how great it was being able to catch up with you the other day.”
Himeno cast you a knowing glance, a subtle grin that held an unspoken promise of discretion. With a skill that only she could pull off, she steered the conversation into safer territory, dropping a casual comment about the last mission, something innocuous that allowed you to breathe again.
Then, the three of you kept walking. The onlookers returned to their business.
You managed a laugh, though it felt a bit too high-pitched, a bit too forced. But Himeno kept up the chatter, her presence a welcome buffer as she guided you and Aki through the crowded hall, almost as though she was giving the onlookers a reason to lose interest. Her laughter and bright words cast a shield around the three of you, and for a moment, it worked. The weight of the stares started to lift, the sharpness of their gazes fading into a hum of background noise.
“We’re getting our drink on later, right?” She asked Aki– or you, you weren’t really sure.
“I’m supposed to drive home,” Aki answered.
She pouted, “So what? Call a taxi.”
“I’ll have a few with you,” You said. “But only a few.”
You fell into the flow of conversation as best you could, though it was hard to focus with your nerves still on edge. Every now and then, you caught Aki’s gaze as he glanced at you, brow knit slightly in concern, but you both played along, letting Himeno’s words carry the rhythm.
But then, just as you started to relax, to settle back into the night, you spotted him over Aki’s shoulder. Your husband had arrived, standing at the edge of the crowd, his gaze scanning the room. Your stomach dropped, a sick feeling clawing its way up as you tried to think – then he saw you.
What the hell is he doing here?
Before you could even process the thought, he began walking closer, his face composed, unreadable. Panic set in as you realized the impossible tightrope you were balancing on, and you tried to steady your breathing, to keep your expression neutral. Did he know? Or would he just see you as he always did, like you were any other guest in the room?
You tried to shake off the feeling, to rejoin the conversation, but the momentary calm had vanished. Your thoughts raced as you walked through the crowd, navigating the distance between yourself and your husband like it was a dangerous line.
You turned your back, saying, “You buying?”
“It’s an open bar,” She replied. You tried to look normal, to get lost in the sound of her voice, but it didn’t work, “Miss Makima is buying.”
The moment you heard that unmistakable voice behind you, it felt like your heart froze mid-beat.
“Hi, honey,” your husband’s voice cut through the buzz of the room, smooth and calm. But there was an edge to it, one that sent a jolt of dread straight down your spine.
You saw Aki’s head perk up, and his eyes narrowed, sharpening into thin slits as he turned, locking his gaze on your husband with a quiet, intense focus. His stance shifted subtly, almost imperceptibly—his hands folded neatly behind his back, his expression unreadable yet taut. He looked every bit the Lieutenant Captain he was, poised and formidable, the easy-going demeanor from earlier vanishing in an instant.
"So, you’re the husband I’ve heard so much about!” Himeno chirped, trying to cover the tension with her usual bravado, stepping forward with a bright smile. She wrapped her arms around your shoulders and squeezed, as though the gesture could somehow shield you from the impending disaster.
Your husband’s half-lidded gaze shifted briefly to her, though his smile barely reached his eyes. "And you are?” His tone was polite, but you could hear the skepticism in it, that subtle doubt as his gaze lingered over Himeno's shoulder, his eyes landing back on Aki, scrutinizing.
You tried to swallow down the knot tightening in your throat, forcing yourself to maintain a calm expression. “Tanimoto, this is Himeno, one of my coworkers,” you said, gesturing to her with a forced, polite smile. Your heart was racing, a nervous energy simmering under your skin, knowing that everything hung by a thread.
“Pleasure to meet you,” Tanimoto nodded, acknowledging Himeno with a quick glance, but his focus quickly returned to Aki, whose steely gaze met his head-on. Neither of them seemed inclined to look away.
This is bad. You felt your pulse spike, every instinct screaming that this was the worst possible situation, an unthinkable confrontation playing out right in front of you.
You cleared your throat, trying to smooth over the tension. “Hayakawa,” you said, gesturing to Aki with a shaky smile, “This is my— my husband, Tanimoto.”
Why was that so hard to say?
Your husband’s expression flickered as he finally extended his hand—only to Aki. The move felt deliberate, his gesture one of formal politeness rather than genuine warmth. Aki glanced down at the outstretched hand, his face unreadable, but made no move to take it.
“Kyoto, right?” Aki asked instead, his tone flat, as if the question itself were a test.
Tanimoto’s brow quirked slightly, but he kept his expression controlled. “Yes. You’re familiar?”
Aki held his gaze, his tone unyielding. “I’m Lieutenant Captain. It’s my job.”
“I’m saying I don’t know what you thought you were doing in Tokyo,” he said, his voice rising. “But word travels in Public Safety. There are rumors about you dancing around with a little Captain, or some shit.”
A flicker of surprise crossed your husband’s face, a slight widening of his eyes as he absorbed the title, the unexpected rank that carried a weight all its own. But he recovered quickly, giving a polite nod. “Of course. My apologies,” he said, with a practiced smoothness.
An uncomfortable silence stretched between them, the air thick with an unspoken tension that felt fucking electric.
Himeno, sensing the palpable strain, chimed in with a bright smile. “Well, it’s always nice to meet family! We’re so glad you could join us, even if just for a little bit.” Her voice had an airy quality to it, intentionally lighthearted, but you could see the slight worry in her eyes as she glanced between you and Aki.
Tanimoto didn’t answer her right away. He kept his gaze on Aki a beat longer, then turned to you, his smile settling into something unreadable. “Would you mind if I steal my lovely wife away? Just for a moment?”
Himeno’s gaze flicked to you, silently asking if you were alright.
You managed a quick nod, and she gave a cheery, “Of course! We’ll be right here when you get back.” Her tone was bright as always, her words meant as reassurance as she gently released her grip on you.
The moment Himeno stepped back, Tanimoto turned and started toward a quieter area a few feet away, his posture rigid. Your heart thundered as you took a breath, then stepped forward, catching up to him as you plastered on a smile, though the pulse in your throat felt thick, tense.
“I thought you couldn’t make it tonight?” you asked, trying to keep your tone light, neutral.
“Meeting let up early,” he answered, his voice clipped. His gaze scanned the room briefly, as though he were evaluating everything around him. “I came to take you home.”
He was mad.
Your heart dropped, and you barely suppressed the urge to step back. You forced a casual smile, though your chest tightened as you tried to gauge his expression.
"What?" You asked, laughter bubbling up, sounding forced to your own ears. "No, that won’t be necessary."
You shot a quick glance over your shoulder. Aki was still talking to Himeno, but you could feel his blue eyes on you every few seconds, a silent question in his gaze each time it flickered your way. You swallowed, steadying yourself.
"I’m staying. I’ll catch a taxi back," You added, hoping it sounded convincing, though your voice wavered slightly. “The party just started, like, an hour ago.”
Tanimoto’s expression hardened, suspicion flickering over his face as he regarded you. He hesitated, his eyes narrowing as if weighing your words. A long, tense moment passed before he sighed, the sound reluctant, yet resigned. "Alright," he replied slowly. "But don’t be out too late."
He stepped forward to kiss you on the cheek, his lips nearing, and instinctively, you winced, ducking away before he could reach you. His expression darkened slightly, though he quickly masked it, a smile slipping over his features like an ill-fitting glove.
This is horrible.
There was a beat of silence, a silent acknowledgment that neither of you addressed. Then he straightened, nodding curtly.
"Well," he said, glancing over at Aki and Himeno, "Excuse me for interrupting. Nice meeting you all."
With that, he turned on his heel and made his way to the exit, his footsteps echoing as he left the hall. You exhaled a shaky breath, relief flooding over you as the tension began to dissipate.
Himeno was instantly at your side, her expression half-amused, half-concerned as she watched him disappear. "Thanks for covering," you murmured, your shoulders sagging as you let yourself relax for the first time since he’d arrived.
She gave you a sly grin, patting your arm gently. "No problem," she said, shooting a quick glance at Aki, who was watching you both carefully, his arms crossed, his gaze flickering with something unreadable. "But we’ll need to talk later, girl," she added, her voice low and teasing, though there was a note of worry in her eyes.
Aki’s gaze softened as he stepped closer, a flicker of relief passing over his face. He didn’t say anything, but you knew he would have a lot to say later.
Himeno cleared her throat, “So… would now be a good time to hit up that bar?”
“I was just thinking the same thing,” You sighed, turning away from Aki’s piercing gaze. You couldn’t bear to look at him. No, you were ashamed. Polishing off the rest of your wine in one go, you added, “I need something stronger than this.”
As the night went on, the conversation began to flow a little easier – as did the booze. In fact, by the time the party was drawing to a close, the three of you were completely inebriated. Himeno had that pinkish flush to her face that you remembered so well. Aki was practically slumped over after his (??)th cocktail of the night. You were blinking tiredly at Himeno, at whatever story she was telling you that you hadn’t been listening to.
The three of you were stood outside of the venue. Arms crossed over your body to brace yourself against the cold wind, you replied, “That’s bull.”
“That’s what I said!” Himeno slurred. “I told him to quit playing in my face. It’s a real problem – men, these days.”
“Couldn’t agree more,” You agreed half-assedly, gaze trickling over to your lover, whose eyes were glazed over with a drunken look. He was in no shape to drive back, that was for sure. “Aki, are you driving home?”
“Yeah, I…” He swallowed, swaying slightly on his feet – at six-foot-something, he looked like a skyscraper, bending in the wind. Slowly, like he had to think extra hard about it, he continued, “Yeah… I am.”
“I don’t think so,” Himeno answered before you could say the same thing. “You should call a taxi.”
“Taxis are for wussies,” Aki grumbled beneath his breath. Still, when you cast him a pout, he stepped towards the curb.
So cute.
The wind outside the venue felt sharper against your flushed skin, biting through the remnants of warmth left over from the drinks. You crossed your arms over your chest, bracing against the chill, though the sight of Aki swaying slightly on his feet in his drunken stupor was enough to bring a small smile to your face.
“Come on, Aki. Be sensible,” you coaxed, giving him a soft pout of your own.
He sighed, reluctantly stepping toward the curb to wave a taxi down. It was cute, watching him try to flag one down with all the determination he could muster, though most cars drove past him without so much as slowing down.
Himeno leaned in, nudging you gently. “He doesn’t look so hot. Maybe you should see him home safe?”
You sighed, glancing over at Aki as he cursed at a passing taxi. “You’re probably right.”
He grumbled something incoherent, swaying a bit as another cab sped past him.
You laughed softly, shaking your head. “What a night.”
“What a night, indeed, girly.” Himeno pulled out a cigarette, lighting it up and taking a long drag before she exhaled into the cold night air. She held the pack toward you, her eyes half-lidded with a mixture of exhaustion and tipsy satisfaction. You declined politely, and she shrugged, tucking it back into her bag.
“So… you cab-hopping with us?” you asked, feeling a bit of reluctance at the thought of her leaving.
She shook her head, her lips curving into a sly grin. “Nah. When you drink on the daily, driving comes naturally.” She waved you off with a lazy salute.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, a taxi slowed to a stop at the curb, and Aki staggered up to it, gesturing for you to get in. “It’s for you,” he called, the words a bit slurred. “Get you home safe.”
You stepped closer, folding your arms and giving him a playful look. “I’m coming home with you,” you called back.
His eyes widened, and then, he smirked, one of those warm, lazy smiles that made your heart skip. “I like the sound of that.”
You rolled your eyes, but a smile tugged at your lips. “Just get in the damn taxi. I wanna say bye, first.”
He pouted but got in, slumping down and muttering to the driver, half-lidded eyes still on you as he settled into the seat.
You turned back to Himeno, laughing softly. “Get home safe, okay?”
She took another drag of her cigarette, her gaze softening a bit. “You too. And make sure Sleeping Beauty over there doesn’t puke all over that pretty dress of yours, yeah?”
You grinned. “I’ll see you around?”
“Always,” she replied, giving you a wink as she turned, already headed back inside the venue.
With one last glance, you slipped into the taxi, shutting the door behind you. The driver pulled away, and you relaxed into the seat, feeling the tension of the night start to ebb. Aki was staring out the window, a soft smile on his face, and when he caught sight of you beside him, his expression softened.
As the taxi moved through the quiet streets, Aki’s head lulled to the side, and he let out a small sigh before resting it against your shoulder. You stiffened at first, the unexpected weight and warmth of him surprising. But he looked so peaceful, so unguarded in this moment that you felt the tightness in your shoulders ease.
“Missed you,” he murmured, his voice soft and heavy with drowsiness, each word dragging as if he were only half-awake.
In a rare, unfiltered moment of abandon, he leaned further into you, snuggling against your shoulder shamelessly, letting out a contented hum. You found yourself smiling softly, letting your head rest against his for just a moment, savoring the quiet intimacy that had so rarely been yours to enjoy.
“Aki, don’t be a baby,” You laughed.
Aki pressed a wet kiss to your neck, then another. “I can’t wait to get you out of this dress,” He slurred against your skin.
A part of you yearned for nothing more than that. Still, one spare glance over at him, at the way he was practically slumped over you – six feet of man nearly crushing you – and you knew no such thing was happening.
Sure, you thought to yourself.
Five minutes later, you finally managed to steer him through the front door. Once you reached the bed, Aki all but collapsed onto it, sprawling out immediately, limbs splayed as he peered up at you with a heavy-lidded gaze that was both bleary and endearing. You stood over him, shaking your head as you reached for his blazer, fumbling a little with the sleeves as he sat half-propped up, his arms nearly dead weight in your hands.
“Gotta take this off,” you murmured, mostly to yourself, as you tugged the blazer free. He blinked at you, a sleepy smile pulling at his lips.
“Come to bed,” he drawled, his words stretching out as he reached for you, pulling you down so you were inches from him.
“Just a minute,” you promised with a soft laugh, brushing his hand away gently. “I’m just going to take my shoes off. Be right back.”
Reluctantly, he released his hold on you, and you watched him flop back, eyes following you with a warm, bleary gaze as you walked over to his dresser. After a moment’s thought, you pulled open one of the drawers and found an old T-shirt—soft and worn from years of wear—and slipped it out, holding it close as you headed to the bathroom.
Inside, you closed the door behind you, taking a steadying breath as you caught your reflection in the mirror. You looked a little undone, your makeup smudged, hair slightly tousled, but the dress… it still looked good, clinging to you in all the right places. You took one last look, savoring the way you looked tonight, then slipped out of the dress, letting it fall to the floor with a soft rustle. You reached for the T-shirt, pulling it over your head and letting it drape down, its fabric oversized and comfortable against your skin, smelling faintly of him.
The mirror caught your eye again as you reached for his face wash, and with a soft smile, you lathered it up between your hands, then began gently washing away the remnants of your makeup, the cool water a refreshing relief on your skin. Rinsing off the last traces, you looked up at your reflection, a little softer now, a little more natural—and somehow, that felt even better.
With a final glance at the mirror, you turned off the faucet and padded back to the bedroom, where Aki lay sprawled out, just as you’d left him, his eyes now closed. Smiling, you climbed into bed beside him, careful not to disturb him too much, though as soon as you settled, he shifted instinctively, rolling toward you. His arm draped over you, heavy but comforting, and he tucked his face into the crook of your neck.
“Aki,” you whispered with a grin, your hand brushing gently over his back. “I have to go… my husband…”
He hummed, barely conscious, and mumbled, “Few more minutes…” His hand curled a little tighter around you as if refusing to let go.
You bit back a quiet laugh and let yourself relax, resting one hand on his shoulder as the other threaded through his hair. You traced gentle circles into his scalp, brushing his hair back, and he settled deeper into sleep, his breathing falling into a soft, steady rhythm.
Settling down beside him, you let out a quiet, contented sigh as Aki instinctively rolled toward you, his arm slipping over your waist with a sleepy possessiveness. His face nestled close to your neck, and you could feel the faint warmth of his breath against your skin, soft and steady, a rhythm that seemed to calm your own heartbeat. You stayed still for a moment, just letting yourself savor the feeling of his weight pressing into you, grounding you, his entire presence a heavy warmth against your side.
With a gentle smile, you shifted, letting your hand drift to his hair, fingers sinking into the soft, inky strands that spilled over his forehead and brushed against his closed eyelids. His hair was messy from the night, a few pieces sticking up in places, and the sight filled you with a deep tenderness. Slowly, you began to run your fingers through it, smoothing it back gently, and as you did, you felt him release a soft sigh, his body relaxing even more fully into the mattress.
You let your fingertips trace along his scalp in gentle, rhythmic strokes, moving from his forehead back to the nape of his neck, where the hair grew slightly coarser. He let out a little contented murmur, a faint smile tugging at the corner of his mouth as he shifted closer to you, his arm tightening just a little around your waist as if to keep you there. The sound he made was so endearing, so soft, that it made you ache with a fondness that was almost too much to hold inside.
As your hand moved along the curve of his head, brushing back a few loose strands that had fallen over his eyes, you let your thumb trace softly along his temple, feeling the slight warmth of his skin beneath it. He looked so peaceful, his usual furrowed brow now relaxed, his sharp features softened in sleep. You could see the faint shadows under his eyes—traces of all the late nights and worries that weighed on him more than he let on—and it made you wish you could keep him like this, in this tranquil state, where everything was quiet and safe.
You continued petting his hair, your hand moving with a tender slowness, tracing little circles along his scalp, letting your fingertips drift along his hairline. Occasionally, he’d mumble something incoherent in his sleep, his lips barely moving as he settled deeper into slumber, his face nuzzling closer to the crook of your neck. You could feel his eyelashes flutter against your skin, a light, tickling sensation that made you smile.
Minutes stretched on in a warm, quiet haze as you watched him, the rise and fall of his chest, the way his lips parted slightly in relaxation. At one point, he murmured something close to a whisper, his arm curling around you a little tighter, and you couldn’t help but press a soft kiss to the crown of his head, breathing in the familiar scent of him—something warm and grounding that seemed to soothe something deep within you.
As the clock ticked on toward 11 p.m., you felt a small pang of reluctance, knowing you’d have to get up soon, but still, you waited a few moments longer. You let yourself linger, your hand threading through his hair one last time, your thumb brushing over his cheek in a gentle, barely-there caress. Aki let out a final, contented sigh, his breathing deep and even, and you felt a warmth bloom in your chest as you realized he was fully, blissfully asleep.
At last, with a soft exhale, you began to ease yourself out of his hold, moving slowly so as not to wake him, your fingers slipping away from his hair. You brushed one last stray lock from his forehead before gently shifting off the bed, giving him one last fond look as he lay there, still wrapped in peaceful dreams – dreams which you could only hope were about you.
407… 408… 409… 410. You drunkenly read the numbers off of the wall as you stumbled towards you and your husband’s hotel room. 413.. 413… 413! Found it.
You opened the door with the key quietly, as if it would make any difference. Your husband could have slept through anything. Gently, you opened the door, and shut it behind you even more gently. When you were sure that he was still asleep, you kicked your heels off – yes, you got into a cab wearing Aki’s tee as a dress to accompany your high heels. Your dress was tucked beneath your arm.
It was dark in the room. So dark, in fact, that you could hardly see your own two legs as they moved towards the bedroom.
Is he here? You thought to yourself. Your heart rate climbed at the prospect of him leaving – perhaps he had sniffed you out, after all?
Just then, someone – your husband, assumedly – flicked the lamp on. He was sat directly beneath it, perched in the loveseat with a book propped open in his hands.
Since when did he read? You thought. And what’s with the freaky lighting?
Swallowing the lump that had suddenly formed in your throat, you spoke, “You reading in the dark?”
He said nothing. With a shrug, you set your belongings down on the desk.
“Sorry I’m back so late. I had to bring Himeno home,” You huffed out a humorless little laugh. “She drank too much for her own good.”
Again, he said nothing. You froze, eyes locking onto the figure settled beneath the lamp – the figure of the man you used to love. The lamp above him cast shadows across his face, catching on the edges of his cheekbones and making his eyes seem hollowed, calculating.
Slowly, he closed his book, fingers lingering over the cover as he looked up at you, his expression unreadable. There was a hint of something you couldn’t quite place in his eyes—disappointment, or maybe anger, simmering just beneath the surface.
“I stayed up to talk to you,” he said, finally breaking the silence. His voice was low, calm, but something about it made you feel small, like a child caught in a lie.
“Oh?” you managed, swallowing down the uneasy feeling that had been growing in your chest. “About what?”
His gaze never left you as he spoke, his voice coldly measured. “I wanted to tell you that you might, by indiscretion, give the world a reason to talk about you.”
“I’m not a committee,” you replied, attempting a casual smile, though it came off more strained than you’d intended. “Is there something you want to tell me?”
He took a deep breath, leaning forward, his fingers laced together. “You and Captain Hayakawa attracted attention tonight.” His voice remained even, though you caught a flicker of something sharp in his gaze. “I didn’t notice anything myself, but it seems everyone else did.”
Shit.
You let out a humorless laugh, shaking your head. “What on earth are you talking about?”
His lips pressed into a thin line. “Look, I’ve told you this before, and I’ll say it again. I have no right to tell you what you should and shouldn’t do. Your decisions concern only your moral compass. But I wanted to remind you that we are married, bound by god. Only a sin against him can break that bond.”
You felt a swell of frustration, heat rising in your cheeks. “I would hardly consider conversation to be a sin.”
He cocked his head, his eyes narrowed as if dissecting you, trying to catch the slightest falter. “A conversation is just what we see,” he said quietly. “Who knows what could have happened while you were out… gallivanting?”
The accusation, so thinly veiled, made you go rigid. “You’re accusing me, then?” you said, a slight tremor in your voice. “Accusing me of… cheating?”
“I never said that.” His gaze remained steady, unwavering. “Unless, of course, there’s something you’re not telling me?”
The words struck a nerve, and you bit back an exasperated sigh, the tension inside you bubbling over. “You don’t like it when I don’t talk to people, and you don’t like it when I do,” you muttered, more to yourself than to him. “Stop doing that… that thing where you talk circles around me. It’s too late for this.”
The room felt suffocating, his presence weighing heavily on you, pressing down until you couldn’t take it anymore. Turning on your heel, you began to make your way to the bathroom, needing a moment of quiet, a second to breathe. He moved as if to follow, but you held up a hand, not looking back.
“Don’t follow me,” you said, the words barely a whisper, but you knew he heard you.
Without another glance, you walked into the bathroom, shutting the door behind you. You took a breath and stared into the mirror. Reaching up, you began to undo your hair, tugging pins free one by one. With each one that dropped onto the counter, a weight seemed to lift from your shoulders, and finally, you let your hair fall loose, watching it spill over your shoulders.
The door creaked, and you caught a glimpse of movement in the mirror as your husband appeared in the doorway. His silhouette was softened by the dim lighting, but his expression held that same guarded intensity.
“If I’m wrong, then… I’m sorry,” he said, his voice low. For a brief moment, you saw something else there—maybe regret, maybe exhaustion.
You’re not. You’re completely right. I'm having an affair.
We’re in love.
I want a divorce.
You took a steadying breath, choosing your words carefully, though it was hard to keep the bitterness from your tone. “You are.” Letting the silence settle between you, you finally added, “Can we just… go to bed, please?”
He nodded, exhaling softly as he moved back toward the bedroom. After taking a final glance in the mirror, you followed, feeling an ache that settled somewhere deep inside you, one that even the cool darkness couldn’t soothe.
He had already slid beneath the covers when you came in, lying on his side with his back to you, the silence between you stretching out uncomfortably. You climbed into bed beside him, the mattress dipping as you shifted into your usual place, though tonight it felt almost foreign.
In the quiet, words bubbled up unbidden, slipping past your lips in a murmur to yourself. “Too late.”
“Missed you,” Aki gasped, pressing his palms deep into your lower back, pushing you down a little further. When he thrusted forward, the car jolted.
You thought of his words from earlier – his comment about makeup sex being the best way to reconnect after time apart. And, shit, he was right. As he fucked you open only a few miles away from the hotel where your husband was fast asleep, you couldn’t have agreed more.
You cried out for him, fingers digging into the leather seats of his car. He was so fucking deep – it was driving you crazy.
“Aki,” You breathed out his name – two simple syllables, a trick of the tongue as it rolled off with ease. It felt so good to have him like this after going so long without seeing him. The two of you were entangled in the backseat – you, face down with your back arched all the way up while he took you from behind at an angle so brutal it had you drooling all over leather seats. Your slushies were getting warm in the cupholders, long forgotten.
Every time his hips were flush up against your ass, you could do nothing but claw harder, moan louder, worship him. Desperately, you rutted your hips back.
“Mis– Missed you t-too,” You managed to stutter out.
“Oh, fuck,” He sighed. “Cum with me, baby. I love you.”
You loved him too. More than he knew. So much so, in fact, that you fell over the edge only a moment later with an, “I love you, too!”
You loved him with your entire body and soul.

So after staring into the middle distance for a couple days I'm ready to start discussing some theories I have before the season finale destroys us. They are all very wide-ranging in absurdity but I'll start with the one that I think has the most substance and therefore I think is most likely to happen. Also, I haven’t caught up with the tag yet so if someone already posted these theories, sorry!
So here is Theory #1, known otherwise as,
Why (I think) I know how Laszlo is going to unfuck Guillermo
The solution, I believe, was stated at the very end of The Roast by Laszlo himself:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
FIRST THOUGHT, BEST THOUGHT
Laszlo has spent weeks deeply committed to solving a problem. He's wasted precious time trying to outthink his first (and probably best) solution – and I'm not just talking about his book sorting. Neither was Laszlo, not entirely at least. I actually do think he was focused at least a little bit on his books because that's kind of what happens when you're stuck on a problem. Your brain wanders to other much less taxing ordeals. Usually, as you solve that smaller problem, you find the solution to the thing you really want to solve.
So what was Laszlo’s first idea?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
All along Laszlo had the answer but Guillermo told him that he didn't think it would work, so Laszlo just didn't pursue it further. (We don't even know if Laszlo knows the circumstances of the test and why it didn't work. Just that Guillermo didn't approve that idea.) So then Laszlo wasted valuable time and energy trying to ~Science~ this problem instead of using his true best skill that was showcased in episode one of the season: his charm. His powers of persuasion (the classical art of bullshitting, as it were) is his true super power. (Sadly, it’s not science. He doesn't really have the patience for science tbh).
But, no, rly, he should bullshit his way thru this. That's what he does best. He can outthink Nandor easily. (well….maybe. with the time spent on his experiments, Nandor could have the advantage of several weeks, if not months, to figure things out beforehand, as dense as he is) He should concoct a bullshit so impenetrable that it unfucks Guillermo from Derek and refucks him to Nandor.
Further foreshadowing of this you ask?
Tumblr media
(this whole season is dedicated to ‘plans’ it’s crazy how much A Plan pops up. maybe i’ll dedicate a separate post to collecting them all)
But alas! The test that The Baron did proved this wouldn’t work, right!?
Tumblr media
Well here's some free additional theories to how Laszlo could solve that hiccup:
1. Laszlo figures out (and solves) the reason why The Baron/Neighbor test didn't work in the first place.
There could be any number of factors of why The Baron's neighbor blew up. It could be that The Baron is all that more powerful than the average vampire and so his bite gives an extraordinary fill of uh...vampire-ness? and Derek, being so young and weak, doesn't do much at all. Maybe it has something to do with The Sire. If The Baron was turned by the first being ever affected by vampirism, then maybe that vampirism is slowly depleted the further down the line you go. Derek is probably very far removed from The Sire which means he cannot transfer much of that affliction onwards. Nandor, if he was turned by The Baron (one removed from The Sire) or someone similar, explains how he is so powerful, hopefully tho he wouldn’t have too much power to possibly overwhelm Guillermo's half-a-virgin body (and yes I did like how kinky that sounded when I wrote it). It doesn't really matter the exact reason as long as Laszlo can convince Guillermo to try it and he has a relatively decent chance of surviving it. (convincing Guillermo to go thru with this plan overall is probably going to be the most trouble actually. you don't easily forget a guy exploding in your face)
2. Something to do with the experiments. (or the Nadja’s bait-and-switch tactic she used to catch The Baron/Guillermo from The Roast)
I have a larger theory on the experiments and why I think there's still one in the house, but that's for later. During The Roast, Nandor is pretty convinced that the mutant Guillermo is the real one (despite one pretty big glaring error: he has no glasses. none of the experiments need glasses...), Laszlo might have been testing this theory by having The Baron bring his body to Nandor in the first place in order to see how convinced Nandor would be by it. This might be enough for Laszlo to try to use a duplicate of Guillermo for Nandor to bite. The duplicate will not explode (probably?) due to only being a hybrid of Guillermo's blood and an animal…or something(one) else pretending to be Guillermo… (and if it does, maybe Laszlo plans to shoo Nandor out of the line of sight in order for him not to see. And then you get the angst and drama of Guillermo literally using a scapegoat to take his 'sin' despite his reluctance to hurt innocent creatures)
But will the fake Guillermo actually convince Nandor? It's hard to say, and I love that threat of Nandor realizing that it's not the true Guillermo he bit and feeling even more betrayed. Maybe Laszlo concocts a whole ambiance to the event in order to sell the lie. It has to be special right?
So there's dim lights and candles and (fake) Guillermo is laid out in Nandor's coffin and there's this whole presentation element to it that was left out of Guillermo's turn with Derek. It's more like the fantasy that Guillermo probably always had of being turned by Nandor. It plays out like a romantic love scene. But Guillermo is asleep or has his eyes closed and won't talk or maybe only makes small noises and Nandor's very upset abt this. Laszlo is probably hovering too and Nandor doesn't like that either but Laszlo insists he must be there and it's now it's all awkward and wrong, kind of like how Guillermo felt before he was bit by Derek. (now it’s like Nandor is the bull cucking Laszlo in front of him) Nandor goes thru with it and bites Guillermo and is rushed by Laszlo so he doesn't get to drink or drink too much of his blood and there's fumbling with trying to get his own blood into Guillermo's unresponsive mouth.
Or maybe Nandor finds out because Guillermo's blood is disgusting and he either knows or had hoped it would be good tasting*. or that Guillermo just lays there and there's no reciprocation of desire. But maybe he just doesn't find out and once it's over he expects to be able to lay with Guillermo or otherwise be there for his turning but Laszlo quickly rushes him out of his own room and closes the door behind him.
So now Nandor feels all the same despondency that Guillermo had felt with his turn with Derek. Like this big special moment he's built up for years was a complete dud. Like he missed out on something truly magical and he doesn't know why. And Guillermo will feel like shit too, for tricking Nandor. Laszlo isn't happy either. But it worked and they all just have to live with it. Meanwhile this act that was meant to make Nandor's and Guillermo's bond stronger, only serves to create even greater distance between them.
Re*: evidence that Guillermo's blood might taste 'different':
Tumblr media
3. ANYWAYS. that was theory two. lets talk about theory 3.
WITCHES.
I actually think there's good reason Laszlo has divorced Science and is now going to have an affair with Magic. It's exactly when Nadja says 'has this hex turned me into an uggo' that Laszlo comes to life and exclaims ‘that's it!’. If science wasn't the solution, maybe magic is. It's not like they don't know some witches, or that, at least to a degree, witches actually have some power. (specifically the power to look, vaguely, like someone else.) I'm not certain of the specifics but there's a chance Laszlo could be turning to magic to solve his problems. This would also bring Nadja's storyline more relevant and in focus for the season. The thing I like the most about this theory? Episode 9 describes being invited to a manor owned by someone named Morrigan. Morrigan is a Celtic goddess of war and fate that was probably the inspiration for Arthurian legendary sorceress, Morgan le Fay. (Laszlo's name may also be connected to Arthurian legend, Lancelot. but that probably doesn't mean anything.)
So! That's my three extra theories attached to this one big theory that Laszlo is going to go 'back to the beginning' and use his first thought to solve this. Go with his gut. His first solution was his best solution, all along.
…He simply needs to convince Nandor to turn Guillermo.
The, uh, details of this plan may be a lot more complicated than it suggests.

you’re on your own, kid
▸ synopsis: yeongmi was always used to being on her own — whether that be on the school playground, or at the studio late at night when everyone else went home. but when she starts training with ateez — she starts to realize that she doesn’t have to face everything alone.
tags: @chaerincore @atzaria @ateezjuliet@m00niesk7@btsnvra@softieteez @lunarxsun @shinyddeonghwa@girlzwfun@still-astray @txt-yaomi @fromfreesia @kittiverse @billboard-singer@my-meloody [send an ask to be included or removed]

to an outsider, yeongmi’s studio was comfortably silent. there was only a few occasional whispers from the air conditioner, and there was a few clicks from her mouse as she worked on her music. the blue computer light illuminated yeongmis face just enough to see the dark eye circles she had forming. every so often, she would stretch up and crack her back, taking a sip from her iced coffee and then returning.
the room was not silent to yeongmi. in her headphones, her work was blasting in her ear, occasional vocals from her recording last night. she wasn’t satisfied with the song at all, she kept adjusting the sound levels and deleting or adding sounds. she didn’t think she was in the room for long, but when she looked down and saw her cup empty, she figured she had to be in the room for atleast two hours.
yeongmi sighed and looked at the time in the corner of her computer, raising her eyebrows when the time read 3am. hongjoong was probably getting ready to head home, and as much as yeongmi wanted to go home and lay in her bed, she knew she should finish this now while she had the energy.
so, instead of packing up her things and following hongjoong home, she slid her headphones back on and went back to work. she figured she should just sleep on the couch, since by the time she would be finished she would have to be back at the company in 2 hours. maybe she’ll text seonghwa to bring her some clothes.
two hours went by, and yeongmi was still not happy with her work, but she couldn’t stand to be awake anymore, so she grabbed her sweatshirt and slid it on, and curled up on her couch. she was only able to sleep for a few hours until hongjoong was knocking on her door, cracking it open when he heard her faint mumble.
“yeongmi, why didn’t you come home last night?” hongjoong asked, sitting a warm cup of coffee on the nightstand next to the couch, moving yeongmis legs on top of his lap so he could sit next to her.
“i wanted to work on my song, but it’s still not what i want it to be.” yeongmi said, sitting up and grabbing the cup of coffee, smiling when it was the almond color she loved. “what time is it? i think i’m going to work on it some more, i’ll meet you guys at the meeting.”
yeongmi could see out of the corner of her eye that hongjoong did not looked thrilled with her suggestion, and before yeongmi could say anything, hongjoong was dragging her off the couch and into the hallway.
“how about we get breakfast first and then we work on your song. i’ll take a listen and we can work on it together.” hongjoong said, bringing yeongmi into the lunch area and sitting her down, rummaging through the pantry until he found the oatmeal she loved.
“hongjoong, im really not hungry, i ate—” and before yeongmi was even able to finish her sentence, she smelt the sweet cinnamon warm oatmeal, she could feel her stomach rumbling and before she knew it, she was taking the bowl from hongjoong’s hand and eating it, a content sigh escaping her lips.
"yeah, likely story." hongjoong joked, smiling when yeongmi only rolled her eyes. "so - this song. what makes you so obsessed with it?" hongjoong asked, crossing his arms and leaning forward. "i mean, i'm used to you staying in the studio late at night, but spending the night at the company is a new one."
yeongmi sighed, putting her spoon down. she wasn't sure why she was so obsessed with the particular song - she had written loads of songs since coming to KQ, but like hongjoong said - she was never the dedicated. a few new boys had joined the company, and it seemed like they were all getting close to debuting. or atleast - the company was thinking about it.
she wanted to be prepared for the day that the company comes to yuri and hongjoong and ask for all the songs they made in the studio they had been granted, she wanted to prepared for when they were crafting their album, at least one of her songs were in the lineup. she wanted the album to be produced mainly by the group and tell the stories of the group - she wanted to have creative freedom - but how could she do that if she had nothing good?
realizing that she had been staring at her oatmeal for awhile, she cleared her throat and looked up, biting her lip before speaking, "I just want to have a really good debut. I want to tell our story, the group's story to the fans. I want to have our own work out there, and I can feel that they company is alot more interested in us after yeosang joined. I just...I want to prepared," Yuri said, shrugging, "And I feel like this song has alot of potential. Maybe not title track potential, but it could be a considered track."
hongjoong nodded, patting yeongmi's hand across the table, "well, if you want to tell our story - wouldn't it make sense to ask for our help? instead of overworking yourself and burning yourself out?" hongjoong asked, giving yeongmi a sharp look when she tried to protest. "i see the tired look in your eyes when we are at practice, i see you mumbling under your breath when you make a mistake. it's the same face you had on the last episodes of produce. do you want this to be like produce again?"
"no, i don't." yeongmi shook her head, shivering when she thought about the state of mind she was in during the show. she was isolated, she was overworked, tired, yet she was desperate to debut.
"then let me help you, let the group help you." hongjoong said, reaching in his pocket, pulling out a piece of paper. "i asked all the boys to write something down to you - to prove to that you aren't alone. that our friendship is real."
yeongmi's mouth fell open as hongjoong passed her the note, seeing all of the handwritings of the other trainee's. she could feel the tears pool in her eyes before she could even start reading the letter, touched that someone would put in this amount of effort to let her feel seen.
she always felt alone all of her life - she didn't have that many friends in her home town, and it was even more of a struggle when she moved to south korea with limited knowledge of the korean language. she was friends with alot of the girls from I.O.I, but she couldn't deny that the friendship had a root of toxicity in it from being compared against each other for so long. yeongmi took a deep breath and started from the beginning of the letter, her smile growing after each note.
to our hardworking yeongmi, you bring so much insight to the team and always bring motivation to practices. we wouldn't be a team without you. - seonghwa
i love that i have gotten to know you so much over the past three years, i admire your passion for music, and you have such an art for writing beautiful and unique lyrics. you are my favorite studio buddy, and you never fail to make me smile. you made me feel less lonely, you showed up when i needed a friend, i know we are meant to debut together. - hongjoong
yeongmi - please rest! rest is important, and if you ever feel too tired to keep pushing, you can rest on me. i'll always be here to catch you. we are all going to do this together, we are a team, forever and always! - yunho
to my best friend!! i can't imagine training without you, you make all my dull days brighter, and i don't think i could remain sane if it wasn't for you. let's eat together soon! - mingi
to the bright star yeongmi, when i first met you, i couldn't believe it. you were legendary in IOI, and i have to admit, you were my favorite member even before we met. thank you for always taking care of me and helping me grow up - let me treat you soon (to ramen...or icecream...i spent all my pocket money on games) - san
yeongmi, even if we may be awkward at times, i really appericate having you around. it helps to know someone who has been through everything already - you boost me up when i feel down, and our team would be incomplete without you - yeosang
YEONGMI!!! don't stay up too late and don't work too hard, there is nine of us, we can all take some work off your shoulders. you are never alone - we can all work together! - wooyoung
yeongmi, you always know how to make everyone shine - either in songs or through dance. i love hearing your suggestions - but you should make yourself shine too. you are talented, too! you are also in the team, yeongmi. even if you scold me sometimes, your words mean alot to me. - jongho
yeongmi smiled when she read the final one, wiping the tears off of her cheeks. she could hear each of the boy's voices when she read the letter, looking up to hongjoong to see him with a wide smile on his lips, a slight blush on his cheeks.
"i think this is the sweetest thing someone has ever done for me," yeongmi said, laughing to keep herself from crying. "this really does mean alot to me, hongjoong." yeongmi said, smoothing out the paper on the table.
as she stared at the paper for longer, the weight of the words really sunk in. she was close to all of the members, but they weren't sentimental very often. she felt so lucky to be surrounded by people that were so caring, so loving, people that saw her for who she truly was, and appericiated her. she appericated all of the boy's, and no one she had ever meant had made her feel so happy before, so loved. they gave her a purpose, they gave her a sense of belonging.
"you don't have to say anything. i just wanted you to know that you aren't alone." hongjoong said, smiling when yeongmi nodded, reaching her hand across the table, grabbing onto her friend's hand, squeezing it once. her way of saying, i love you.
"let's work on this song, shall we?" hongjoong asked, smiling when yeongmi nodded. the duo went back to the studio, and to yeongmi's suprise, the remaining members were all in her studio, snacks littered on the table.
"hongjoong said you might need some help, so we all came." wooyoung said, walking over to the girl and engulfing her in a hug, his smile wide. yeongmi just looked at all of the boys in adoration, loving that they all came to help her, to support her. it meant the world to her.
"you guys...you can listen to it. you can tell me what you think. maybe we can change some lyrics....i left spaces for mingi and hongjoong to have a rap too, for you to have your own written verse." yuri said, breaking away from wooyoung's hug and going to her computer, pulling up the song. "i was starting to have a feel for everyone's parts, but it's not set in stone." yeongmi said, turning around and looking at the boys, smiling when seonghwa nodded at her in encouragement.
"i'm sure it will be amazing, like always." mingi said, and with that, yeongmi pressed play. anxiously playing with her rings as she watched the boys react to the song, smiling slightly when she saw some of them nod their heads.
when the song finished, they all burst into the applause, hongjoong patting her on the shoulder, mouthing, "good job". the nine of them spent hours in the studio, tweaking the lyrics, tweaking the music and the beat, and by the time the meeting rolled around, they had all the parts picked out, and honjoong, mingi, and yeongmi had all their verses written. they left the studio in good spirts, continually talking about the song, the lyrics, and how excited they were for debut.
"im proud of you, really." mingi said, playfully pushing his shoulder into yeongmi's. "you've grown so much with the music you create, i can see you becoming kpops best songwriter and composer," mingi said, laughing when yeongmi only sighed and rolled her eyes.
"i wish, but i have some tough competition." yeongmi said, biting her lip. "you like the song, right? you all aren't complementing me just to make me feel better?" yeongmi asked, looking over at her friend with concern.
"i would never lie about the music i like, i love the song." mingi reassured the girl, the duo silent for awhile as they walked to the meeting. eventually, mingi spoke again.
"I think it should be called "My way", what do you think?" mingi asked, smiling when yeongmi looked at him with astonishment, clearly loving the title.
"i think that would be perfect," yeongmi whispered, a wide smile on her lips. she couldn't wait for their future, for their debut, for the future music she would create, all the boys on her side. all nine of them had a great career ahead of them, she could feel it. they were finally feeling like a team, like a group, and she knew their debut was just around the corner.
everything was finally falling into place.

A Lesson Learned- Tickle Fic
@softer-sunny @nyforceuser @secretly-tword-obsessed I loved the star wars content y'all do, and thought you might enjoy! (Sorry if this tag bothers you, I can totally remove it if youd like)
"I regret introducing you guys.”
“It's not my fault you were such an embarrassing cadet. Like that time during a training sim where you-”
“Bly. Do you ever shut up?”
“Hey, have some respect. That's your ori’vod you're speaking to.”
“Fuck you, Boil.”
The man snickers.
He's lucky Cody doesn't have his blaster on him right now.
He doesn't think he could resist the urge to shoot his brother, if only to stop him from spilling any more humiliating secrets.
It was a collaborative mission, and the good commander found himself occupying the same ship as a couple batchmates. Wolffe’s pack and Bly’s battalion were set to join them for several rotations, and they decided to take advantage of their free time before it all inevitably goes to hell. Unfortunately for Cody, his batchmate's version of “hanging out” is telling his troopers about their shared childhood…and all the dumb things their marshal commander did as a tubie. Wolffe just sits back, occasionally adding on a detail or two, each somehow more embarrassing than the last. Waxer and Boil are listening intently; he thinks he even saw one of them taking notes at some point. Bly was giving an animated recollection of the time after training where a very concussed Cody called Alpha-17 “dad.” As if he could ever forget. Cody can feel his patience running thin.
“-and then he goes ‘stop worryin’ about me, dad,’ and immediately passes out. Funniest thing I've ever seen-”
“Don't forget how he drooled on Alpha’s shoulder while being carried to the medbay.”
“Oh, yeah. How could I leave that out?”
Cody frowns, giving the most deadpan expression he can manage.
"Stop scowling at me, man.” Waxer groans. “Your face is gonna get stuck that way. Or maybe it already has, maybe that's why you never look happy.”
“Believe it or not, the sourpuss can smile.”
“Cody? Smiling? Are we talking about the same vod?”
Said man rolls his eyes.
“It seems impossible, I know, but he is capable of it- laughing too.” Bly says.
“Blasphemy. Lies. I’ll believe it when I see it.” Waxer’s face is set in faux seriousness.
“It can be kinda difficult, but there are a couple things that get him to crack.” His face lights up. Cody doesn't like that look. “Oh my god, Wolffe. Are you thinking what I’m thinking?”
The commander eyes him up and down and smirks. His blood runs cold. They wouldn't possibly- no. They wouldn't.
“I think so. Cody, c’mere.”
Fuck. They would.
“I don't think I want to.”
“Come on, what’re you so afraid of?”
There's a moment where no one dares make a move. Then Cody bolts in the opposite direction like his life’s on the line. He’s immediately tackled by Wolffe, already used to his brother being a flight risk. They wrestle to the ground, all kicks and sharp elbows. Bly makes himself known, quickly slotting his arms under Cody's own, helping his brother pin him down. He pulls Cody taut so that he's near flat on his back. He almost catches an elbow to the chin, but the payoff will soon be worth it.
“You should know by now that there's no escaping us.”
“A tragedy. I pray everyday for some peace and quiet.”
“Uh, guys? What’s going on?” Boil asks, clearly missing something. Wolffe chuckles. The dangerous glint in his eyes would've killed a lesser man.
“You want proof this stick in the mud can smile, huh? Well, here's your proof, soldier.”
He digs his fingers into his brother’s ribs, and Cody slams his mouth shut, choking on the protest he had ready. His body twists and turns, trying to escape the electric sparks that dance up his torso. Dammit. He can already feel the corners of his lips twitching upwards.
“No. Fucking. Way.” Waxer mumbles.
“Holy kriff, the commander’s ticklish?!” Boil looks absolutely delighted. “Oh, this is incredible.”
“Ngh! D-dead to me. All of you,” Cody grits out, a grin finally breaking out on his face.
“Heyyy, there's those pearly whites! Ain't he adorable, vode?” Bly coos, smirking at how his face reddens. His eyes gesture at Wolffe, who instantly understands. “I think I'd like to hear some laughter, though. Take it away, Wolffe.”
The clone suddenly darts his hands behind him, pinching at the commander's knees. Cody lets out a yelp unfit for a war-hardened soldier, huffing quiet giggles that quickly rises in pitch and volume.
“Ah! Shihit! Wolffe! Wolffehe, stohop!”
“You were right. This is adorable.”
“What can I say, I’m a man of my word.”
“Stop acting lihike I’m not hehehere!”
“Did you guys just hear something?”
“Ohohoh, eat sHIT-” He's cut off by the hands switching to squeezing his thighs. “Wolffe nohohoHO!”
Each squeeze is accompanied by a swarm of tingles; it's unbearable, but he can't lift his legs with his asshole of a brother sitting on his hips. He settles for scraping his shoes against the floor in desperation. He really wishes standard issue shoes had more traction.
Bly smiles down at his vod’ika, distracted by the rare sound of his laughter. It sounds like home, with its warm timbre and the way his voice gets higher when their fingers graze someplace sensitive. Turns out, he shouldn't have been reminiscing with a highly trained soldier in his arms. Cody finally elbows him in the chin, using the opening to squeeze out from under Wolffe and try to make a run for it. Try being the key word. Bly recovers quick, whirling around and pouncing on the man's back while he's trying to stand. Cody ends up on his stomach this time. He groans.
“Maker, I need new brothers.”
“You don't mean that,” Bly says, rolling up his sleeves. “You love us. Maybe not after this, though. Hey, Waxer, Boil. Do you wanna learn a trick to get commander killjoy to loosen up a little?”
“Hell yes.”
“Boy, do I.”
Now that makes Cody's eyes widen. He can feel the anticipation creeping up on him, making his hairs stand on end.
“Hold on a minute-”
“Sorry, Codes. It's two against one. You’ve been outvoted, vod.” Bly says, solemn.
His soon-to-be victim hides his face in crossed arms. He's so fucked. Like, royally fucked. All he can do is accept his fate.
And then Bly starts pushing his shirt up and his acceptance turns to panic.
“Wait. Waitwaitwait. Bly plea-” His hands press against the tile, trying to push himself up, but to no avail. Instead of begging, the noise that comes out of his mouth is somehow even more embarrassing. A high pitched squeak rings out, pulled from his lips by a finger running up his spine. The room is silent before his brothers burst into laughter. Okay, no. He's hiding his face again.
“Oho my god! How’d you even make that sound?”
“Stop talking,” he grumbles behind his arms.
“That's not even the best part. Watch.”
Nothing could've prepared him for the sensation of ten fingers scribbling across his bare shoulder blades, not even ARC training. It was like a thousand volts shooting up his back. He can't hold in his laughter even if he tries, so Cody shoves his face deeper into his arms, trying to become one with the floor. Meanwhile, the men marvel at the waves of boyish giggles that pour from his lips, a stark contrast from the stoic image he usually upholds.
“Ah-shihihiHIt! Gehet ohohoff!” He whines.
“Oh yeah,” Bly says, not even looking up from where his eyes are trained on Cody's worst spots. “This is a great way to get him to stop being a workaholic. Tires him out, too.”
When he escapes, they are in so much trouble. His giggles become frantic when Bly grinds a knuckle into his back dimples. He wonders if he can get them court martialed for this.
“I once got him to fork over his lunch ration by doing this,” Wolffe comments, kneeling at his side to loom over him, Bly still keeping him pinned.Needless to say, Cody loses his shit when his traitor of a brother places a raspberry on that spot riiiiight below his shoulder blades.
“FUCK! FUHUHUHUCK! STAHAHA!”
He's given up on trying to salvage his dignity. It's been shattered, stomped on, absolutely destroyed by now. His pleas aren't even coherent with how hard he's cackling. One of his hands moves to clutch at his hair, just for something to grab on to.
“I’m not sure if the regulations approve that sort of language, sir.” That's it, Waxer's on fresher duty for the next month.
Thankfully, Wolffe has mercy before he starts wheezing, ruffling his hair. Bly gets up and takes a seat beside him, patting his shoulder. Cody can't be bothered to swat them off.
“So,” Bly starts, “I presume this experience was very informative, boys?”
“Oh, yes. We’ve been taking notes.”
They ignore whatever insult Cody mumbles into his arms, still face down on the floor. Fuck, they were right. He is tired; his bunk sounds real comfortable right about now.
“I do hope you enjoy your rest, Commander.” A distinct coruscanti accent has everyone turning heads.
The high general of the 212th battalion is leaning against the doorframe, a warm smile on his lips. It looks good there, he thinks. Cody's face flushes. The vode chuckle, giving him a knowing look.
“And before you ask, I have been standing here for quite a while, but don't let me ruin your fun,” he turns to exit, but stops before he leaves their sight.
“Oh, and commander?”
Cody responds with a flustered sound.
“You may want to seek out Helix, your face is a tad red.”
God, he's never going to live this down.

AFTERMATH OF VICTORY
[Task force 141 x reader]
Summary: when the task force have had a long mission and need some well needed rest they decide to relax away at base but not without a little amusement.
Word count: 1566
Warnings: none?
The moon cast a silver glow over the desolate landscape as Task Force 141 trudged back to their base, exhausted but triumphant. The mission had been long, grueling, and fraught with unexpected twists, but they had succeeded in their objective. Now, they were returning home, their once pristine uniforms now smeared with mud and blood, the marks of their labor.
Y/N, was leading the way, her boots crunching against the gravel of the path leading to the base. Her hair was tousled, and her face was streaked with dirt and exhaustion, but her spirit remained undiminished. “Seriously, did we have to spend half the night hunting down that rogue operative?” she grumbled, casting a sidelong glance at Ghost, who was walking beside her.
Ghost, his face concealed by his mask, simply shrugged. “That’s what we do. Find the bad guys and make sure they don’t get away.”
“Yeah, but couldn’t we have had a less complicated mission? Maybe something involving less running and more relaxing?” Y/N replied with a sarcastic edge.
Soap, who was a few steps ahead, laughed, turning back to face them. “What, you mean like a vacation? We’ve been over this, Y/N. We don’t do vacations.”
“Right, because that would be too easy,” Y/N shot back, her tone dripping with sarcasm. “Instead, let’s do something that involves getting shot at and blowing stuff up.”
Price, the team leader, had been quietly listening to the banter. He stepped forward, his eyes scanning the horizon. “We’re almost there. Just a bit further and we can drop this gear and get some much-needed rest.”
The team pushed on, their fatigue making each step feel heavier, but their shared camaraderie keeping them motivated. When they finally reached the base, the contrast between the harsh night outside and the warm, inviting interior was palpable. The base was lit with a soft glow from overhead lights, and the hum of the heater provided a comforting background noise.
As soon as they crossed the threshold, the team began to shed their gear. Y/N tossed her tactical vest onto a nearby chair with a resigned sigh. “I swear, if I ever see another assault rifle, I’m going to lose it.”
Ghost, who was methodically removing his gear, chuckled softly. “You say that every time. Give it a week, and you’ll be itching for the next mission.”
“Yeah, well, don’t remind me,” Y/N said, flopping down onto the couch with a loud thud. “Right now, I’m all about the relaxation.”
Soap, ever the cheerful soul, grinned as he flopped down beside her, sprawling out with a contented sigh. “Now that’s more like it. No more dodging bullets for the next few hours.”
Price, taking a seat in a nearby armchair, nodded in agreement. “Let’s take advantage of this downtime. We earned it.”
The base’s common area was a cozy, albeit slightly cluttered, space. There were a few worn couches, a coffee table strewn with old magazines, and a small kitchenette in the corner. The room exuded an air of lived-in comfort, a stark contrast to the sterile, high-tech environment of the rest of the base.
Y/N leaned back into the couch, her legs stretched out and her arms folded behind her head. “You know, I was thinking,” she said, looking around at her teammates, “we should really start planning something fun for once. Maybe a team outing or something?”
Ghost raised an eyebrow, though it was difficult to tell through his mask. “And what exactly do you have in mind?”
“Bowling,” Y/N said with a straight face. “Or maybe laser tag. Something where we can all be terrible at it together.”
Soap chuckled, shaking his head. “You know, that doesn’t sound half bad. I haven’t been bowling in years.”
Price leaned forward, his eyes twinkling with amusement. “Bowling, huh? I’d love to see Ghost’s form on the lanes.”
“I’ll have you know,” Ghost interjected with a rare hint of defensiveness, “that I have impeccable aim.”
Y/N snorted. “Impeccable aim in a combat situation, maybe. But I bet you’d struggle with a bowling ball.”
“I’d like to see you try to beat me,” Ghost replied, the hint of a challenge in his voice.
Y/N’s eyes sparkled with mischief. “Alright, it’s a deal. But be warned, I’m a force to be reckoned with when it comes to recreational sports.”
Soap raised his hand, as if taking an oath. “I’m in. But we need to add laser tag to the mix. I want to see Y/N try to outshoot Ghost.”
“Oh, it’s on,” Y/N said, her voice full of competitive spirit. “You’ll be eating my dust, Ghost.”
As the conversation flowed, the team’s laughter filled the room. The tension of the mission seemed to dissolve as they reveled in each other’s company. Price, with his usual calm demeanor, joined in the banter, his laughter a warm sound that added to the sense of camaraderie.
Y/N turned to Soap, who was now lounging comfortably on the couch beside her. “Remember that time we were stuck in that warehouse for hours because of a broken radio? We ended up using our tactical gear to play a game of hide-and-seek.”
Soap grinned, his eyes sparkling with recollection. “Oh man, I remember that. You were so sure you had the perfect hiding spot, but Roach found you in less than five minutes.”
“That was because he cheated!” Y/N exclaimed, throwing her hands up in mock outrage. “He used the thermal goggles to find me. Totally unfair.”
“Hey, it’s not my fault you decided to hide in plain sight,” Roach, who had been silently observing from the corner, said with a smirk. “You should have known better.”
Ghost, still removing his gear, shook his head. “You all are a bunch of children. I can’t believe we survived a mission with this kind of behavior.”
Y/N laughed, a bright, genuine sound that resonated through the room. “Hey, if we didn’t have fun, we’d all be losing our minds by now. This is what keeps us sane.”
The team continued to share stories, each tale adding to the warmth of the evening. As the hours passed, the initial high-energy banter settled into a more relaxed and comfortable silence. They had earned this moment of peace, and they savored it.
Price stood up and moved to the kitchenette, rummaging through the cabinets. “I think it’s time for some coffee. Who’s in?”
Y/N groaned dramatically. “Ugh, you’re a sadist, Price. It’s late, and you want to keep us awake?”
“You know as well as I do that we’re all going to be up in a few hours anyway,” Price replied with a grin. “Besides, coffee’s the least we deserve after tonight.”
Soap raised his hand. “I’ll take one. I’m not ready to sleep just yet.”
Roach, who had been quiet for a while, finally spoke up. “I’ll have a cup too. It’s been a long day.”
Ghost nodded in agreement. “I’ll take one as well. Can’t hurt to stay alert.”
Y/N, realizing she was outnumbered, reluctantly agreed. “Fine, I guess I’ll have one too. But only because I don’t want to be the only one not caffeinated.”
As Price brewed the coffee, Y/N leaned back into the couch, her gaze drifting around the room. The dim light cast a soft glow on the faces of her teammates, and she couldn’t help but feel a swell of affection for them. Despite the harshness of their missions and the danger they faced, moments like this reminded her of the strength of their bond.
Price returned with steaming mugs of coffee, handing them out with a satisfied smile. “Here you go. One round of coffee for the night owls.”
Y/N took her cup, cradling it in her hands as she took a sip. The warmth of the coffee was a comforting contrast to the cold night air. “Alright, let’s make a toast,” she said, raising her mug. “To surviving another mission and to the best team in the world.”
The team raised their mugs in unison, clinking them together in a makeshift toast. “To us,” Price said, his voice filled with pride.
As they drank their coffee, the conversation gradually shifted to lighter topics. Y/N found herself enjoying the ease of the moment, the simple pleasure of being surrounded by friends who understood her and shared her experiences. The laughter and banter continued, and the weariness of the mission seemed to fade away.
Eventually, the coffee was gone, and the team began to wind down. They stretched out on the couches, their bodies relaxing into the comfortable cushions. The room grew quieter as the conversation dwindled, each member lost in their own thoughts or drifting towards sleep.
Y/N, feeling the weight of exhaustion finally catch up with her, snuggled into the couch. Her head rested against the armrest, and she closed her eyes, a contented smile on her lips. Despite her usual fiery demeanor, she found solace in these quiet moments of companionship.
Soap, noticing her relaxed state, gave her a playful nudge. “You look like you’re about to fall asleep. Don’t let us keep you up if you’re tired.”
Y/N opened one eye, giving him a lazy smile. “Nah, I’m good. Just enjoying the rare peace and quiet.”
