I ??? woke up at 3am with this scene fully written in my mind palace and quickly jotted it down in the Notes app
*
Clark’s shaking his head before he realizes he’s doing it, and feels a twinge of embarrassment at his own bad manners when Bruce stops mid-word to look at him, brows raised.
“No?” he says.
“No,” Clark says, again without thinking, and again with the reflexive urge to apologize. Somewhere his mother is tutting without knowing why. But he doesn’t apologize, because he’s already saying, “No, it can’t—it can’t be that.”
“Okay,” Bruce says slowly. “Can you elaborate?”
He is, honestly, having trouble taking his eyes off the screen. The mockup design of his new suit is there, dark and sleek, ridged like tactical gear. The blue is like the last shade of evening before you can’t call it evening anymore, the color of nine PM in Kansas in July, so exact there’s a strong chance Bruce color-picked it from a photo. The yellow accents are the cool fluorescent yellow-green of lightning bugs. The red is dark as arterial blood. Every aspect of the suit has been updated—the colors deeper, the angles sharper, the S extending to the corners of its frame—but Bruce has done it without changing the fundamentals. It’s immediately recognizable as the Superman suit, just… well, a little cooler, maybe. A little more of the times. Even the tailoring is modernized. The neckline. The shape of the boots. Where the belt hits at the waist. Clark can tell just by looking that Bruce has not only spent a lot of time on this in general, he’s spent a lot of time designing it specifically with Clark in mind, Clark’s needs and preferences and the small discomforts of his current suit, things he might have mentioned offhand after a mission but never with the assumption that Bruce was listening or filing it away. No doubt the next slides of this presentation will detail all the hidden features of the new suit, and they’ll all be incredibly thoughtful if not slightly overkill, and Bruce will pretend his sole motive here was practicality and risk reduction and respond to any thanks with a curt nod.
And Clark wants to thank him. He will. It’s just.
“It can’t be… cool,” he says, inane. Bruce is watching him with that steady look that used to feel clinical, piercing, and now mostly reads as attentive. “It can’t be—like yours. Tactical, military-grade.”
“Lightyears beyond, actually.”
“It has to—Ma said once, a kid should be able to draw it with crayons. You know? I can’t look like a weapon. I have to—I want to look like a friend.”
He can feel himself flushing. It’s rare that he speaks like this, and rarer still that he does so while being stared at intently. Bruce may think of himself as the darkness, but his gaze is a spotlight: unwavering and revealing and more a little sweat-inducing, for one reason or another.
“Sometimes, when I show up, people laugh,” Clark says. “If it’s somewhere out of the way, where they haven’t seen me before. I show up and I look like a festival performer. It’ll be the worst day of their lives, and they’ve got no reason to trust my face, but when they see what I’m wearing—it goes from ‘Who are you?’ to ‘Who is this guy?’ And that’s a good thing.”
“Hard to be afraid of a man dressed in primary colors,” Bruce says, almost to himself.
“Exactly.”
“I see. Thank you,” he says, “for explaining.”
Clark tries not to show how surprised he is to hear that. Judging by the crook of Bruce’s mouth, his success is negligible. “Of course. Sorry I didn’t—I mean, thank you, obviously, for going to such trouble. I didn’t mean to come in here and—I really do appreciate it, I can tell you put a lot of work in—”
Bruce’s eyes cut away. “No. No need. I didn’t ask, before I…. It was only a first draft. If you’re amenable, I’ll incorporate your feedback into the second one.”
“Oh! Yeah. Yes, of course, but you really don’t have to—”
“If you have any further notes, I would like to hear them.”
There’s something determined in the lines of his face. Clark has the sense that this moment is important, that it’s a turning point, even if he’s not sure why. It feels like striking out into a sea of ice, a blank white expanse under which something precious and vital is hidden, has been hidden all along, just waiting for him to find it. To want to.
“Sure,” he says. He looks back at the suit and swallows, and knows Bruce will see the flicker of his throat and take some meaning from it, and wishes he knew what the meaning was. Or maybe Bruce won’t notice or read into it at all. Maybe Clark needs to calm down, in fact. “Um. I don’t want to assume, but does it… do things?”
“It does things,” Bruce confirms, after the barest pause. “Let me show you the next slide.”

TIME SKIP TO ABU DHABI 2022
you weren’t sure if you made the right decision, yet here you were in the aston martin garage about to watch sebastian’s last race. the aston martin team made sure photographers weren’t in your face with their cameras, which you thanked them for. yeah, your former job had paparazzi following you almost everywhere but you had gotten used to the quietness.
you hadn’t seen sebastian all day, it was killing you inside. you felt like this was a bad decision, but before you could leave the aston martin garage, you saw sebastian enter with britta by his side. you heard him speaking to her, but he stopped once he spotted you.
britta noticed the look sebastian gave you. it was like seeing two teenagers in love. “i’ll leave you two alone.” she said then left.
sebastian watched as you played with the ring on your finger. it was a habit he noticed in 2010 and somehow you never changed. “we can go in my driver’s room if you’d like. it’s more private.”
“yeah, i’d like that.” you reply. together, you and sebastian walked to his driver’s room.
several people from the aston martin team were secretly rooting for you two, it was clear that they knew about your history. even if they were big fans of you, they didn’t walk up to you to ask for a photo, not when you were with sebastian on the most important night of his life.
you finally made it to his driver’s room. it was small, but it was just perfect for you and sebastian to have a conversation in. you and sebastian sat on the tiny bed. “are you nervous?” you asked.
“more excited actually. it really is nice that you’re here. thank you for coming.” he said.
“i didn’t think you would want me here.”
“why?”
you looked at him. there he was staring at you with his beautiful blue eyes. “i thought you hated me all these years.”
“i could never hate you, y/n. i never stopped loving you even when you told me you were engaged, when i found out you said i do to someone else.” he confessed. “i’ve carried this love for you in my heart for many years. but you were happy.”
“i was happy . . then he broke my heart and i gave him the ring back.” you replied. “i realized I didn’t want that life with him . . . because i want that life with you and i know it all seems so sudden but it’s always been you.”
in that moment, seemed to stand still as he processed the weight of her words. he couldn’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of hope blossom within him—a hope that, against all odds, maybe, just maybe, they could finally be together.
you could feel a tear run down your cheek. “god, i’m sorry. i dumped all this on you before your last race—”
then she felt sebastian’s lips on hers. as their lips met, the world seemed to fall away, leaving only the two of them.
for you, it was a revelation—a confirmation of the love you had always felt but never dared to acknowledge it. for sebastian, it was a homecoming—a return to the one person who had always held his heart captive, even when you belonged to another.
their moment had been interrupted by a knock on the door then by sebastian’s father, norbert vettel, asking if he was ready yet.
“i’ll be out in a second.” sebastian replied. he turned to look at you. “i am considering that a good luck kiss.”
“you don’t need luck, you’re sebastian vettel.” you playfully rolled your eyes.
“well whenever i’m with you, i always feel lucky.”
and with that, you and sebastian exited his driver’s room.

SEB’S LAST RACE
you were feeling lots of emotions. you watched as sebastian finished his post race interview with jenson. you watched from a monitor inside the aston martin garage, you could see the sadness in sebastian’s eyes. you knew the feeling all too well.
“go meet him.” norbert said. “he needs you right now.”
“but—”
“go.” he assured you.
so you walked to the pit lane since sebastian was already making his way back to the garage. once he spotted you, he smiled. you made it clear that now you didn’t care if you were photographed, all you wanted was to be with sebastian.
“i really want to kiss you right now.” sebastian said when he walked up to you. many photographers and journalists were crowded around you, making sure to capture the moment between you two.
“then do it.”
and then, without another word, he pulled her in for a kiss. as his lips met yours, you felt a rush of warmth flood your entire being. as they finally pulled away, your eyes met in a silent understanding. sebastian took your hand and led you to back to the garage where his team was waiting for him.
“i’m so proud of you.” you whispered to him.
“you won’t be saying that when i’m bothering you constantly now that i’ll be around you more.” he joked.
“and i’ll be fine with that.” you reply with a smile.
sebastian turned to face you. he knew it was still early, but he always kept his promises. “one day, i’m going to marry you. i’m going to make you so happy everyday, okay? it’s my only job.”
hearing sebastian’s words filled you with a sense of comfort, joy and reassurance. you suddenly felt more alive and complete than ever before.
“i love you, more deeply than i ever thought possible.” you reply.
and suddenly, everything felt right in the world.

jinx
Tumblr media
18+ mdni. no smut but eddie is a grade a asshole to poor reader. mentions of weed and alcohol throughout. eddie munson x fem reader.
a/n: first off, anon i am sooo sooooo sorry it has taken me this long to fulfill your request!! i absolutely loved this request and am absolutely honoured that you came to me for it<33 i hope i've done it justice and that you still care to read this:') side note, i've updated my masterlist as i have slacked a bit but everything should be on there now ^.^
love me some chelseeebe angst—imagine fuckboy!eddie plays at the hideout right like regularly. reader starts frequenting his show days bc she likes him obviously but he starts noticing something. every time she comes in, something goes wrong. either he messes up a chord or cant see to flirt properly therefore no one ends up warming his bed as of late or something of the sort
his immediate first thought is ‘she’s a jinx!!!’ bc what other explanation could there be in his boy brain??? so he asks her to stop coming in. she does and yet he continues to mess up bc all he can think abt is her.
itd be so sexy if u added a moment of realization/angry love confession where in the middle of him being like you’ve bewitched me or something!!! he realizes hes the one obsessed with her.
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
the party hums on in the background, a small group gathered outside to rob eddie blind, smoking away his entire supply.
robin giggles nonsensically into steve’s shoulder, too high for her own good.
“if you’re gonna smoke all my shit, the least you can do is come watch us tomorrow,” eddie had been nagging his friends to come down the hideout for months. they’d gathered a solid crowd now, not much but it was a start.
robin groans, nancy and jonathan shift in their seats, steve can barely muster enough energy to reply and argyle snores. hardly enthusiastic about his dreams.
“i’ll come,” you offer, bright-eyed as you smile politely at him from the floor.
a friend of a friend, someone robin met in class and had dutifully introduced to the group. he didn’t know you well, nor had he ever really cared to.
“i don’t think you’d like it, sweetheart” eddie retorts, flattered that you’d try and spare his feelings but he didn’t need your pity.
“why? you can’t be that bad,” chuckling quietly to yourself.
his eyes narrow, scoffing, “we’re not,” misunderstanding, or maybe just not caring to humour you back, “come if you want,” he shrugs nonchalantly, not as if any of his friends had offered to attend.
“okay,” nodding along, “i will.”
“alright,” turning his attention back to the embering joint glued to argyles fingers.
who cares if you come? eddie certainly doesn’t.
-
sure enough, the same couple dozen old drunks fill the bar, their glossy, zombie-like eyes stare back at him from the floor. he’d complain but beggars can’t be choosers and all that.
they’re partway through the second song when something reflects in his eye, a low-cut sequinned top that would definitely look better on the floor of his van.
it’s only when his eyes travel up that he realises it’s you who’s wearing that shirt, already looking straight back at him. a newfound look about you, thick lines of black line your eyes, worlds apart from the mousy girl who’d invited herself last night.
“and we’re-,” he sings, an abrupt case of dry mouth as the next line struggles to come out, “we’re.. uh,” the entire song erased from his memory within seconds.
he steps back from the mic, blinking rapidly in an attempt to trigger his voice though all he can see is you and that ridiculous top.
gareth’s head whips round, still strumming along before picking up eddie’s slack, continuing the lyrics on his own, not without a damning glare in eddie’s direction.
holy fuck.
he’s just, taken aback, that’s all. shocked that you’d even bother to come, less so put the effort in to actually look the part too.
his eyes don’t leave the back wall for the rest of the gig, practically stumbling through all of the songs as his head threatens to wander. trailing back to you only as they finish, walking off stage to down the harshest whisky the bar would allow.
you saunter over a couple minutes later, while eddie tries his hardest not to stare right down your shirt. he’s not certain that he won’t choke on his words if you speak to him.
“you were really good tonight,” you assure, smiling softly as his band mate turns to gawp.
“uh, yeah.. thanks,” eddie fumbles, gripping the neck of his beer bottle, “thanks for coming.”
there’s an aura surrounding you, like a wretched spell you’d evoked in him, turning him to a bumbling fool.
“i’m gonna head out..” gesturing to the door, “see you around,” waving your fingers coyly at him before disappearing.
his eyes linger at the door, wondering if maybe you’ll turn around and come back. not that he wants that. just curious as to why you’d come out just to see him play.
“now who the hell was that?” jeff ogles, receiving a swift elbow to the ribs from eddie and a loud oof as he clutches his side.
“a friend of a friend,” brushing him off, “don’t be weird about it,” jumping the gun to squash any sorts of ideas festering in his mind.
“you’re the only one being weird about it,” jeff retorts, grabbing his beer and shuffling off.
“i’m not being weird,” eddie calls from behind, “i’m not!”
okay maybe he was being a little weird.
who cares?
definitely not eddie.
-
this week, he feels more prepared to see you nodding along in the crowd, robin had joined you albeit looking less than impressed.
eddie’s killing it, at least he thinks. avoiding looking anywhere in your direction, keeping his gaze on the stumbling drunk at the back instead.
but the thoughts of you can’t help but creep into his mind, were you enjoying it? do you think he’s bad? why does he even care so much?
his hand slides down the neck of the guitar, playing the wrong chord entirely, his fingers curating a mind of their own.
fuck fuck fuck.
why does this keep happening?
gareth glares at him again, he had never been so frustrated with his idiot bandmate in his life. sure eddie liked to dick around in rehearsal but never on stage.
if eddie ever wanted a career in music, he needed to get a monumental grip on himself. weird girls he barely knew should not have the capacity to ruin his career.
after they clamber off stage, eddie makes a point of not going over to the two of you. no, you can come to him.
though he wishes you’d just be a little faster at it if he’s honest. too busy squished into a booth with one of the younger regulars to care about him.
heat rises in his chest, searing his cheeks a bright rouge, “-who is that?” gareth interrupts, bumping into his arm.
“who’s who?” eddie coughs, clearing his throat as his eyes snap back.
“that girl you’ve been staring at,” peering across the room to get a glimpse.
“i’m not staring at anyone,” abruptly turning his head in the opposite direction, proving to himself that he wasn’t staring, not really.
“you’re a liar,” gareth calls him on his bullshit immediately, “go talk to her! she’s hot,” scooting his friend along.
“no she’s not,” you looked good tonight, he’d give you that, “can everyone please just stop being weird about this? first jeff- now you? honestly, i don’t get it,” working himself into a frenzy over what really was nothing.
gareth’s eyes widen, scoffing at his melodramatic performance, “alright man.. calm down,” shaking his head in mild disgust.
eddie was totally calm, you know, apart from his heart pounding in his chest.
nothing major.
-
filthy, downright pornographic sounds fill his cramped van, certain that it was rocking side to side with the utter obscenity happening in the back.
chloe sits atop of his lap, tongues dancing around one another as she glides her hips back and forth. she was a regular, slightly older than eddie, at least he thinks, they’d made eyes a few times but only tonight had he gathered the courage to go and speak to her.
any other time, eddie would be rock solid, pinning her down and fucking her into the dusty floor. today, it’s just not happening.
his mind elsewhere, too preoccupied with nonsense to appreciate the opportunity at hand.
he's thinking about you and the fact you’d left the bar without ever coming over to him tonight. what the fuck was that about?
had he done something wrong?
he breaks apart from her mouth, heaving into the tiny gap between them, “i don’t know what’s going on..” he chuckles awkwardly, looking down at his useless dick, “normally something happens by now..”
she frowns, deep-set, showing her age more than before, “oh.”
he reaches down, furiously palming his cock through his jeans.
nothing. not even a twitch.
he wants to curl up and die. never in his three years of actually getting laid has this ever happened. eddie got hard at the drop of a pin, he’d only have to think about boobs and his jeans would shift.
so why the fuck wasn’t it working tonight?
“i’m gonna go,” chloe scowls, clambering over his legs, gathering her bag while not even attempting to hide her disappointment.
eddie shoots up, pathetically crawling after her, desperate not to let her go.
“it’s not me!” he screams out, watching helplessly as she crawls out of the van, “it’s you!”
no.
“wait no! shit, that’s not what i meant,” peeking out of the van to find the empty parking lot, zero women to be found, “fuck sake.”
left to wallow in his self-pity, alone, in the back of his dirty van.
just as he deserved.
if this was some karmic intervention, telling him to be a better person, he certainly wasn’t paying it any attention.
-
another party meant another night of eddie trying to understand why the hell you had such an effect on him.
it’s not even like you’re doing anything particularly riveting, sat with your drink in hand, nodding along to robin’s story.
he can’t stand it.
you have to go.
maybe not like that, but he had to put some distance between you. there’s no way he could keep his sanity while you were still a constant in his life.
eddie sidles over, feeling like the smartest guy in the room. he could do this, separate himself from you and your clutches and go back to playing as he once did.
you smile upon him appearing, sickly and sweet. it makes his heart thump in the weirdest way.
“oh.. hey,” playing this entirely nonchalantly, “i just thought i’d let you know that we’re not playing next week,” lying through his teeth, guilt ridden but really, it was necessary if he wanted to play a gig without fucking up the entire time.
“oh,” sounding somewhat disappointed, “okay.. how come?”
shit.
he can’t think of a single valid reason as to why they wouldn’t be playing.
“jeff’s sick.. real bad,” feeling even more guilty for lying about his friends health, wondering if he’s cursing jeff as you did him, “might even be a couple weeks off at this point.”
eddie was a terrible person.
but so were you.
bewitching him under some spell, forcing him to play terribly and embarrass himself in front of women
you’ve jinxed him. a bad omen cursing him to play like a fucking amateur. that’s the only logical explanation his pea brain can conjure up anyway.
that meant you had to stay away from the shows, from him preferably.
he couldn’t understand why you have this effect on him, why your mere presence has him becoming a floundering fool. you don’t intimidate him, not even close.
it’s almost as if he cares too much about what you think, to the extent that he overthinks it so hard that he fucks up.
a curse that could only be broken with some distance between you. that way he could focus on the show instead of you and your doe eyes reflecting off of the stage lights.
that’s what he’s praying for anyway.
-
eddie despises wednesday’s. itching to get his classes over and done with so he can get his small taste of stardom on that tiny hideout stage.
at some point over the last few weeks of you being an omnipotent presence in his life, he’d grown accustomed to crossing paths with you before the gig.
crossing campus with your chin tucked down, arms wrapped tight around your books. typically only sharing a smile or a short nod.
but this week you saunter over, resembling a frightened deer even more than usual.
he pulls his headphone from his ear, anticipating whatever nonsensical, vaguely cute thing you were going to say.
“hey,” he nods, a coy smile.
even now you have his palms sweating, overthinking whether he should’ve said hi or hello instead.
“you didn’t have to lie to me,” you start, brows furrowed, “it’s fine if you don’t want me to go to your gigs anymore, i don’t care,” a disappointed frown plaguing your normally cheerful face. “i thought i liked you eddie, really- but i don’t know anymore.. you’re not a good person.”
you turn to walk off before he can even compute your words.
oh shit.
“wait!” he calls but it’s useless, “i didn’t- i wasn’t- fuck.”
it was unthinkably cruel, he didn’t think you’d ever find out. and maybe that was his problem, assuming you didn’t care enough to find out.
guilt addles his chest, weighing heavy on his heart. for good reason too.
eddie was an asshole. a true, grade-a asshole that wayne would positively despise him for.
wait wait wait.
you liked him?
you liked him?
absolutely not. no way. that wasn’t what this was about.
or it’s not supposed to be.
no, this was some adolescent feud, a confusing, one-sided, friendship that he couldn’t get a grip on.
you didn’t like him. girls like you weren’t supposed to.
-
it’s not at all surprising that he plays like absolute shit tonight too.
guilt ridden for forcing your hand, for making you look at him like that. as if he were the worst person to walk the earth.
shit, maybe he was.
kind hearted people didn’t lie and deceive. no, kind hearted people came to gigs they obviously didn’t give a shit about. kind hearted people feigned interest in boring spiel about weed strains and whatever the fuck else eddie jabbered on about at parties.
you, you were kind. kinder than he deserved.
gareth slaps him harshly on the back the second they’re back behind the curtain, a scornful yet pitying scowl on his face, “look man,” he begins, “i dunno what’s going on with you but i don’t know how much longer they’re gonna let us play here if you keep playing like that.”
eddie sighs, because he knows this. he’s well aware that his performances have been lacklustre for weeks now. he just doesn’t really understand why.
at first he thought it was just because you were there, a distance friend who would feed back to his friends about how good, or bad, he was.
but that wasn’t it.
you were there, and then you weren’t. and he still played like shit.
somewhere entangled deep within his wretched heart, he thinks that maybe he just wanted to impress you.
a nice girl, cares about her studies way more than he does, pretty too and you didn’t look at him like he was just some out of touch stoner with crazy dreams of his band getting big.
you were polite, listening to his wacky stories and dreams of playing for thousands, in fact, you encouraged them, more than his friends ever had for sure.
eddie’s not sure if, or how, he’ll ever be able to make amends for how he’s treated you.
-
he’s making himself sick with worry. guilt wracking his brain.
you don’t turn up that night, obviously.
eddie’s eyes mindlessly search the crowd for any hint of you. his fingers failing to correspond with the rest of band, always playing a beat behind.
you had infected him, ruined his once masterful skill to just a shell of what it once was.
he doesn’t lay opportunity for the boys to speak to him again, rushing out of the bar as soon as his guitar is back in her case.
there’s only one place he can think about going.
a few months back, you’d hosted robin’s birthday party there and eddie had disgraced your bathroom with a girl he can’t even remember now.
his fist bangs on the door, hoping the light in the upstairs window was you and not one of your roommates he’d have to shamefully apologise to.
the orange light cascades over your face, peeking out from the barely cracked door with a frown that would scare any man off.
“what’re you doing?” you spit, looking backwards in hopes he hadn’t woken the entire house up.
“listen,” he sighs, “i’m real sorry about.. you know, lying to you,” his shoulders slumped over themselves, “but i just- i can’t fucking play when you’re there, can’t play when you’re not,” sounding utterly pathetic, begging for you to cure him from this sudden sickness. “i don’t know what to do anymore,” dragging his hand over his face.
rightfully earning his spot as the worlds biggest fucking loser, stood on your doorstep begging for an answer.
when he opens his eyes enough to look at you, you’re scowling back at him. nothing like how he had planned this situation in his head.
he’d hoped that miraculously you’d understand, accept his apology and somehow still feel the same as you had.
because that was it, really.
too terrified to face the fact that he liked you too.
somewhere in his heart of hearts he’d known it from the start. that’s why his heart fluttered when you’d volunteered to come or why he’d struggled to even touch anyone else.
“what do you want me to say?” shrugging, “i won’t come back, that’s fine,” he wishes you’d just follow the script he’d curated for you.
eddie doesn’t want you to stop coming, he never had. it’s killing him that you even believed that, twisting the knife in his chest further and further the more your bottom lip juts out and your eyes water.
“actually, maybe it’s best if we don’t talk anymore,” you suggest, throwing him completely off kilter.
woah.
that wasn’t at all what he wanted nor was he trying to say. he just couldn’t gather the actual words he needed to express that to you.
petrified that he’d admit to his feelings and you’d just turn around and laugh, how could someone like you ever like such a cruel man?
“wait no, that’s not what i meant-,” bargaining with you for a little time to explain himself, though you definitely didn’t owe him any.
“-thanks for coming eddie, i’ll see you around,” flashing him a crestfallen smile before abruptly closing the door in his face.
-
public humiliation was truly the only way eddie could think to make it up to you.
well that and maybe a little big nudge from robin.
he’d rather stupidly asked about you on saturday night, confused why you weren’t there alongside robin, who had very quickly got him in check.
“why do you think dumbass?” she snapped, snarling her teeth at him, “you were an asshole and now she’s doesn’t want to come anymore,” her glare powerful and harsh, "i'd say you were lucky she didn't punch you in the face."
he’d deserve it.
it had taken weeks of convincing to get you anywhere near the hideout again. not to mention the hundreds in free weed he’d had to bribe robin with to get her to help.
you stand in a dark corner, hands folded against your chest, puzzled and irritated by robin’s incessant begging to get you here.
“there’s someone here that i wanna apologise to,” his eyes don’t find you as easy this time, after weeks of missing your presence, he’s not used to you actually being in the crowd again, “if you know us, you know i can be a bit of an asshole sometimes, uh..” they find you, the lump only growing in his throat, “i’m sorry,” tunnel vision blocking out every other body in the room, “i’m really, really sorry.”
you blink, staring back at him like a deer caught in headlights. it makes him a little bit nauseous to recall how dreadfully he’d treated you, how you deserved absolutely none of it.
your gaze lowers, and eddie can’t decide how to take it. he wouldn’t blame you if you decided to never forgive him, but he also couldn’t take it if you didn’t.
his voice cracks a little as he speaks, “this is.. uh, we’re corroded coffin,” stepping back from the mic to gather his thoughts before the drum comes crashing in.
-
eddie plays the best he’s potentially ever played.
a force overcoming him to prove that he truly wasn’t as much as a loser as he’s shown himself to be.
usually, he couldn’t wait to be off that stage and to the bar but today he’s dreading it.
knowing that you’re somewhere out there waiting for an explanation.
or maybe you weren’t. he wouldn’t blame you if you’d decided to leave soon after he’d embarrassed himself with that shitty apology.
gareth runs up behind him, using his shoulders to launch himself into the air, “holy shit! that was amazing!” the boy presses a slobbery kiss to his cheek before continuing, “whatever the hell you did, keep doing it because that was insane!” running off past eddie to grab his weekly complimentary beer.
a sudden sickness fills his stomach, slyly hoping that he could slip out of here before anyone else noticed him.
you stand across the bar, waiting to catch his eye with your lips curled only ever-so-slightly.
eddie’s limbs go stiff, still entranced by your jinx. by you.
your eyes trail away to the door as his follow, shuffling your way through the bustling crowd.
his legs carry him without a second thought, out into the cool night as his eyes frantically search for you.
he finds you perched against the crumbling stone wall a few feet from the entrance, just far enough away from the prying eyes of the smoking patrons.
“i didn’t think you’d ever come back here,” is all he can say, feet trailing along the gravel.
the streetlight glistens orange from your eyes, staring up at him from your perch, “i didn’t want to,” your smile only growing as he nears, “robin made me.”
“oh,” it wasn’t as if he didn’t know that or that he didn’t orchestrated the entire thing, it just felt odd to hear it from your mouth.
“i’m glad i came,” you clarify, allowing him to finally release the breath held tight in his chest.
eddie dares to move closer, sitting back on the brick just inches away, “yeah?”
you nod, the great big smile he’d forced away making a return at last, “yeah.”
suddenly the air feels thick, it was easier apologising on stage, those people didn’t know him, they didn’t care. but now, sat here in front of you, it feels like he’s swallowing knives.
“i’m really sorry for making you feel that way,” though it sounds meaningless now the damage was done, “i don’t know if you still care about me at all, but i- um,” his throat runs dry, clamping his eyes shut. it felt easier that way, somehow, “i think the reason why i was such.. an asshole,” the light flickers through his eyelids again, deciding that you at least deserved to see him, “fuck,” he exclaims, staring back at your confused expression.
“it’s okay,” soothing even now, “you don’t have to explain yourself to me,” a twinge of sadness running through your tone.
“no, no i do,” eddie persists. he’d fumbled once, he couldn’t do it again. “shit man,” he sighs, “i’m trying to tell you that i like you too, or maybe not too, i know i was an ass and i don’t deserve your forgiveness-,” your lips cuts him off mid-mumble, surging forward to press them against his blathering ones.
he has to blink a couple times, taking in whatever the fuck was happening to him.
you pull back, disappointed that his brain had been to fuzzy to focus on kissing you back. too preoccupied with trying not to explode and paint you in red.
“really eddie.. it’s okay,” returning to your usual reserved self while his brain still struggles to compute.
“can we do that again?” he asks politely, keeping the bubbling excitement to a minimum.
you laugh, a real, throaty laugh, something he hadn’t heard in weeks, “only if you promise to stop talking,” leaning in once more, the rigid wall suddenly feeling like it was about to collapse from underneath him.
your soft, cherry-tinted lips press against his forehead a second time, allowing him to gather his brain from a pile of mush on the floor just enough to actually kiss you back. a tender hand reaching out to caress his stubbly cheek, sending shockwaves through his limbs.
you’re interrupted again by a loud whoop from behind, robin clapping wildly as she emerges from the bar, “now you two have kissed and made up, can we go home now?”

New In Town
Tumblr media
A/N: hey there, to the anon that requested this, I lost your actual submission but I hope this lived up to expectation! I started writing this, forgot I started it, and then got sick but I tried my best haha, enjoy! Happy pride month! - mod ghost
p.s. sorry to mod angel, I definitely called her out in this fic lol
You had only been at the BAU for about a week, but something about Spencer made you feel like a moth drawn to a flame, as cliche as that might be. Sometimes, you’d catch yourself staring at him during briefings or even just sitting at your respective desks. Watching the way his hands would move over pages as he tore his way through books. His reading speed always amazed you, and you wondered how he actually retained any of the information he was taking in. Yesterday, he’d caught your gaze, making eye contact with you and giving you a polite grin before returning back to whatever it was he’d been doing. Your heart nearly pounded itself out of your chest, which is about when it dawned on you that you definitely had feelings for him. Shit, you thought to yourself briefly. It was probably best to keep this to yourself for now, you’d heard a lot about everything he had been through from the other members of the team and figured it’d be best to leave him alone. Even if you thought this while in private, it didn’t seem to actually stop you from flirting with him. What could possibly go wrong? He’d say no, but that wasn’t terrible. A few days later, you found him at his desk before the team was about to fly off to investigate a new case. You, however, weren’t cleared for field work yet, so you had to work in something before he went,
Gently putting a hand on his shoulder to get his attention, you leaned in closer to him as you said, “Have a safe flight, pretty boy, I’ll see you when you get back,” then walked off toward Garcia while practically being able to feel his eyes on you. Whether that was a good thing or not, you couldn’t tell, and the idea of having to wait until the team came back stirred up some nervousness that seized in the pit of your stomach but you pushed it aside for now to focus on helping Penelope here in Quantico. “I’m sorry, why is Reid making that face?” She laughed as she all but chased you further down the hall and away from the bullpen.
“I’m fairly certain I just called him pretty boy or something, I don’t know. I might’ve blacked out.” You sighed, averting her gaze as much as possible as you pushed through the door leading to all of her equipment.
“I knew it! You have a crush on Spencer!” Garcia cried in excitement, seconds away from jumping up and down. “Could you yell it any louder?? He might hear you! China might hear you–” You grab her arm as you whisper hurriedly, pulling her through the door and closing it behind her, “--wait, am I really that obvious about it?? Who else knows other than you?” “Mainly us girls, don’t worry. But I might be able to help you, see if he likes you back?” “What, have my own spy crew just for a crush? No way, I’ll get over it.” You brush a hand through your hair in embarrassment and frustration as you and her sit next to each other at her desk. All you could think about was Spencer, though. Nothing that happened throughout the day could fix that. Especially when he called a few hours later to ask for information. Garcia picked up the phone before you could react or steel yourself to the idea of talking to him again. “Hey, tall dark and nerdy, talk to me” She spoke quickly, leaning back in her chair. It made you blush, which you silently cursed her for. “Uh, hey, Garcia,” he paused to chuckle, “I need your help–” “Obviously” You started to get up to escape the room and compose yourself, but, much to your chagrin, he’d heard the background noise over the phone, “Is someone else in there with you?” His voice crackled over the phone line again, which made Penelope stop you from moving,
“Yes, actually,” She nudged you as she spoke,
“H-uh, Hi, Spence.” You spoke up, trying to sound lighthearted. The idea of speaking to him again this soon seized your heart and made it hard to breathe.
“Hey…as you can probably hear, I made it here safe. No need to worry.” There was a bit of a teasing tone to his voice. You’d never quite heard him use that tone with you before. Or anyone for that matter.
Before you had time to process that, they were on to talking about the case again and you were able to escape the situation pretty much unscathed.
The rest of the team didn’t return until later that week, on a Friday, so Garcia got pizza for everyone to celebrate.
She came to grab you from your desk and the two of you arrived just in time to see something that stirred up something in you, so deep you think you were possessed by one of your distant descendants.
“You’re cutting pizza with a butter knife?!” You ask incredulously, not meaning to come off so viciously.
Spencer froze, plastic butter knife still in hand as he stabbed into the pizza.
“We…We don’t have a pizza cutter here, and some of the slices were kinda stuck together with cheese…” he explained, almost frozen in place as he awkwardly chuckled at the ridiculous nature of the conversation while Garcia couldn’t help but laugh.
“Sorry, I honestly have no idea what came over me. Let’s uh, let’s dig into this pizza, huh? Now that I’m done getting possessed by my grandma?” You joke, going closer to the table with Penelope and grabbing one of the slices that were…cut. Definitely not sawed apart poorly. He’d tried his best. At this current moment, Spencer Reid was honestly just lucky he was cute. Despite that, you smiled politely and spent time with your found family that is the BAU.
That night, after all the fun was over and it was time to go home for a much needed crash, it had been just you and Spencer. You both volunteered to clean up after everything so that everyone else could go home for some much needed rest and to get a start on their weekend. They tried to insist that they’d help, too, but everyone was tired and it wasn’t that big of a mess so there was no need for everyone to stay.
You thought it’d be fine, because surely you could be at least somewhat normal around him, right?
The two of you easily talked and joked the whole time, the energy in the room fairly normal until you both reached for the same pizza box. Your hands brushed together and you instinctively looked up at each other, a similar electric feeling running down both your spines.
“Oh, I can um…I can grab that.” you speak softly, almost afraid to speak in the sudden intense silence.
“It’s okay, I got it. It’s the least I could do after you almost stabbed me earlier for my inferior method of cutting pizza.” Spence replied with a soft smile.
“Hey, you were the one with the plastic knife, mister.”
“I’m never gonna live that down, am I?”
“Not as long as I’m here,”
You both broke out into laughter then there were a few moments of just eye contact before you’d started to lean in closer slowly. Like too fast of a movement would scare him away. It seemed like he would, too, but before either of you could touch the other, he quickly stood up and away from you.
“Sorry—um, it’s been a long day. I can take care of taking out the rest of the trash, you don’t have to stick around. Thanks for the help, though.” He says hastily, grabbing one of the two bags of garbage bags that sat by the door and quickly rushing off.
You sighed to yourself and grabbed your bag, heading out for the night and silently cursing at yourself. If it wasn’t awkward before, it would be now.
But you just couldn’t help yourself around Spencer, everything about him screamed out to you like some sort of siren call. Every time you weren’t around him, basically anything would remind you of him.
You just needed to bite the bullet and ask him out, so that’s exactly what you were going to do. The worst he could do was say no, right?
So the week after that, you had finally worked up some courage. The whole team was at a bar together, Spencer being the only one not drinking as per usual. You, being about two drinks in at this point, had enough of tiptoeing around him.
It’s now or never, you thought.
You went over to him while everyone else was doing their own thing in different spots in the bar, so it was just the two of you, and you sat yourself next to him.
Spencer looked over and smiled kindly at you, his brown doe eyes shining in the dim lighting. Your chest flooded with warm affection as soon as you made eye contact with him, and it made you that much more sure about this.
“Hey, having fun?” he asked cheerfully, the happiest you’d heard him in a while. Since you’d started working at the BAU, you’d realize when you thought about this moment later.
“Yeah, but um…I really need to ask you something, Spence.”
“Oh? By all means, go ahead,” he gestures for you to continue, turning his body toward yours to give you his full attention.
“Okay so…um…I…I like you. Like, I really like you—“ you started to say, before he interjected.
“This isn’t sounding like a question”
“Spencer, please”
“Sorry, go on” he sheepishly smiled, apparently having fun teasing you a little.
“Thank you, but I uhh…shit—“ you cursed.
“You were saying you really like me?”
“Right—so, I was wondering…if…if you’d want to…maybe…go out sometime? With me?”
“We…are out,” he gestured to the bar around the two of you, “right now.”
“That’s not what I mean—“
“I know what you mean, and I…I’m not sure.”
“What?”
“I’ve had a lot happen to me recently, between going to jail and everything that happened with Cat, as well as everything else and our jobs themselves…I’m not sure I have room to have someone else in my life. No matter how much I like you, too.”
You nearly gasped when he said he liked you, too, but you held it back. This was the most emotionally vulnerable he’d ever been around you. You weren’t going to take advantage of that.
“Well…” you take his hand in both of yours, holding it close to your chest. “We could take things slow…ride things out, y’know? But that’s only if you want to. I’m here to make sure you’re happy. Whether it’s with me or not.”
He stared at you silently for a moment, considering everything you’d just told him. He kept glancing from your eyes to your lips, as if he was contemplating at a speed your slightly buzzed mind wasn’t quite up to keeping up with.
Before you could speak or even think further on it, he was leaning forward and speaking low enough that only you would be hearing it.
“Let’s go, let’s go back to my place. We’ll talk about this more, I just can barely hear myself think with the music in here.”
You nodded and stood up from the booth, both of you waving goodbye to the rest of the team with gentle smiles before walking off.
Back at his apartment, he barely had the door closed 5 minutes before he was kissing you.
So much for talking things through.
The way his lips pressed to yours felt passionate, desperate even. Like he’d been waiting to do this for a long time. You let yourself relax into it, your hand drifting up to tangle your fingers in his hair. Everything about kissing him just made you want to lose yourself in him until you weren’t sure where each of you ended and began.
Then, just as suddenly as he started, he pulled away, taking in deep breaths and pushing his hair back away from his face but still close enough that you could feel his breath ghosting over your face.
“Sorry, that…I shouldn’t have—“
Before he could finish, you were pulling him back in for more. He wasn’t about to get away with a kiss like that with just a simple ‘sorry’. Not if you had anything to say about it.
The two of you ended up tangled together in his bed for the rest of the night, the blanket gently wrapped around you both in a comfortable silence.
Talking could wait, for now you were just…together, and that was more than enough.

tattoo artist! Touya Todoroki x Reader
NSFW ahead! This is my first full smut piece so I thought I would post it for kinktober, lmk how I did!
Touya Todoroki was the most sought-after tattoo artist in your city. His fine line work, detail, and color were unmatched. As an artist yourself, you weren’t just going to pick anyone to do your first tattoo. They had to be good enough to replicate your drawing, which wasn’t going to be easy for anyone. So you decided to email him to set up an appointment.
It took months to actually see him, but the day was finally here. You were going to get your first tattoo. It was a beautiful and intricate spine piece that Touya said he was personally impressed by. You were incredibly nervous but also excited to finally meet him. Then you were called back into his room.
“You (y/n)?” he asked you while finishing setting up for the session. You had seen pictures of this man but none of them did him justice. He had beautiful white hair, perfectly contrasted by the black inkwork all over his body. He had three nose piercings and many cartilage piercings, all of which made you weak in the knees. You realized you were staring.
“Yes,” you replied shortly, your nervousness showing more than ever. He only smirked at you, reading your body language like a book.
“This your first tattoo?” He asked, getting the stencil ready for placement. You only nodded, too shy to speak anymore. “Don’t worry, I’ll be real gentle to you,” he said in a suggestive voice, making blood rush to your cheeks.
“Thank you,” you could only say before he turned you around and started placing the stencil. The cool ink on your back gave you goosebumps, but you were more shaken by how delicate his fingers were pressing the stencil into your back. You had to try extremely hard to prevent yourself from shivering.
“Does that look centered? I usually don’t get it right the first time, but I think I did a pretty good job on this one,” he laughed a little at himself while watching you look in the mirror. You practically had hearts in your eyes at how good it looked on your back. “It looks amazing, perfectly centered!” you smiled up at him after looking at the stencil to find him already looking at you with an amused gaze. Did he think you were cute? You looked away before your brain could explore that thought any further. He motioned for you to lay down on the table so he could get to work. You unceremoniously flopped down on the bench and got in a comfy position. You knew this would take a while.
“Alright, this may pinch a little, let me know if it hurts too bad,” he told you before dipping his pen in the tattoo ink. You barely even felt the needle go into your skin, you were too preoccupied with how he was touching your back. “How does that feel?” He asked in the same suggestive voice he did before.
“I barely feel a thing. In fact, I think it’s relaxing,” you told him truthfully in a sleepy voice. It was his heart's turn to skip a beat. His first tattoo didn’t hurt particularly bad, but it was far from relaxing. He got used to it over the years, but he couldn’t help but wonder what pain you had to go through in your life to look this sleepy while needles were penetrating your flesh.
“Yeah? You got a high pain tolerance?” He asked, wanting to confirm his curiosity. “Mmhm, been through a lot worse than this,” you yawned while relaxing more on the bench. He thought you looked adorable. “That’s too bad, a pretty girl like you shouldn’t have to go through any pain,” he flirted before wiping some excess ink away. You giggled below him, glad your face was hidden in the table.
“Did your first tattoo hurt?” You asked him, not wanting to stop the conversation. “It hurt a little but wasn’t nearly as big as this one. I personally think piercings hurt more than tattoos,” he answered. “I agree, but I’ve only gotten piercings done by my friends, never at a parlor,” you laughed a little while telling your story, thinking he would be disappointed that you didn’t take body mods seriously. Some did get infected, but no more infected than they would’ve gotten at Claire’s. “I didn’t take you for the rebellious type, doll,” you could hear the smirk in his voice. He could probably hear your heartbeat through your spine at this point. “Then there’s a lot you don’t know about me, handsome,” you replied by calling him a pet name like he had called you, thinking you were funny for it. On the other hand, he felt his heart skip into his throat at the nickname. He was always a flirt, and shy girls like you were always his favorite to pick on. But you talked back. He thought he was falling in love.
You continued the conversation until about an hour and a half into the tattoo session, then he asked if you needed a break.
“I’m so glad you asked me, my legs went numb like 30 minutes ago but I felt bad messing up your rhythm,” you told him honestly while sitting up. You tried to stand up but it was all too fast, causing you to stumble due to the blood rush. Touya caught you, his hands on your elbows holding you up.
“Careful now pretty, don’t fall for me too fast, you might regret it later,” he teased from above you. You tried to hide your smile but it was futile. “Sorry, I stood up way too fast,” you explained even though he already knew what happened. He sat you back down before walking over to a mini fridge in the corner to get an energy drink. He asked if you wanted anything, and you looked over his shoulder to see what he had. You were surprised to see little boxes of apple juice.
“Can I have an apple juice?” You asked him while smiling, happy that he would have something like that in his fridge in the first place. He laughed while grabbing one and handing it to you.
“They’re for when kids come in to get their first piercings. I don’t know what magic is in them, but they take the pain away from every kid I’ve ever pierced,” he chuckled while explaining them to you. This man just kept getting hotter and hotter the more you talked to him.
“You’re a badass tattoo artist who’s also good with kids? I’m in love,” you joked, but it wasn’t really a joke. He laughed at that, letting you see his smile for the first time since you started the tattoo. Butterflies erupted in your stomach.
“You ready for the final stretch? It should take another hour and a half if you sit pretty for me like you’ve been doing,” he smirked while putting on a new pair of black gloves. You nodded and laid back down on the bench, getting in a comfortable position once again.
“So how’d you come up with this design?” He asked you, eager to start another conversation.
“It’s been something I’ve wanted for as long as I can remember, and because I’ve drawn for my whole life it was pretty easy to sketch up a draft,” you explained to him, happy you finally got to brag about how good your drawings were. “You drew this? It’s beautiful, if you ever want to become a tattoo artist I’d take you as my apprentice any day,” he complimented, trying his best to get you to like him. “I’ll definitely keep that in mind,” you laughed, although you both knew he wasn’t joking. “I’ll show you my art after this if you want to see it,” you offered, upset that you had seen his art all over his studio but he’s only seen one of your drawings. “Show me everything,” he replied, making you flustered at his innuendo.
“This is going to hurt more than the linework, I’m gonna start filling in the black,” he warned before starting shading. “I know you can take it though,” he said in that suggestive voice that made your knees weak. Thank god you were lying down.
You ended up falling asleep for the rest of the tattoo session, much to Touya's disappointment. You were woken up by the cool disinfectant being poured on your back.
“We all done?” You asked him while yawning.
“Yup, go ahead and take a look,” he replied. You almost shot up when he said that, excited to see how it turned out, but you caught yourself and got up slowly so you didn’t fall over again. You looked behind your shoulder to see the tattoo.
“It’s beautiful Touya! Thank you so much!” You exclaimed. You handed him your phone so he could take a picture. When he handed you your phone back you stared at the photo for what felt like forever, memorizing every little detail he was sure to add. You smiled up at him in appreciation, and he was once again already looking at your face in admiration. You didn’t know but he felt his chest tighten at the fact that you remembered his name. It sounded so good coming from your lips.
“I’m really happy you came to me for your first tattoo, this way you know how good I am and can come to me for every other tattoo you decide to get,” he subtlety flirted.
“I definitely will, don’t you worry,” you told him. “Alright, let's get you taped up,” he said before turning you around and putting healing cream on your back. You had become obsessed with the way his fingers felt on your skin, so much you didn’t want to leave. He put a bandage over your tattoo before turning you back around to look at your face again.
“I know this is unprofessional, but let me take you on a date. I get off work at 6 if you wanna stop by then. I know some amazing restaurants on this block,” he said nonchalantly while taking his gloves off one last time. You stared up at him in shock. You were hoping this would happen, but you had convinced yourself he didn’t like you and was just trying to make you more comfortable.
“I’ll be here at 6 then,” you smiled up at him before walking out of his studio to pay.
•••
Six was too close. You were so giddy about the date that you had forgotten to ask about how to take care of the tattoo, showering with the bandage on and hoping you weren’t supposed to take it off before the shower. You wore your favorite outfit and put on some simple makeup before heading out to see Touya.
You arrived at the studio around 5:45, watching as all the employees were cleaning up after a long day. You didn’t want to get yelled at for being here during closing, so you immediately made your way to Touya’s studio. Before you opened the door, you heard him talking to someone.
“Take a big deep breath in- and now out,” he was speaking to someone in a gentle voice, one you weren’t used to hearing from him. You quietly opened the door and slid in, and Touya knew it was you as soon as he heard the door. There was a little girl sitting on the table you were on earlier that day, getting her ears pierced. Her mom was in the corner smiling proudly at her, but also eyeing Touya down like you were. You couldn’t blame her, you were in the same position.
“You did so good! Now for the most important part-” he started before heading over to his mini fridge and taking out an apple juice. “Make sure you drink all of it so your body has all the proper nutrients to heal,” he explained, watching the little girl with comforting eyes that felt like home.
“Thank you,” the little girl said quietly before running off to her mom to show her. They both looked so excited, which made your heart soar. After they left the room, you approached Touya.
“How did you learn to be so good with kids?” You asked him, smirking. He let out a huff at your question.
“I’m the oldest of four, I’ve been takin’ care of my stupid siblings my whole life,” he explained while cleaning up. It made you wonder about his childhood. Why did he have to take care of his siblings? What did his parents do? You decided to drop the subject in case it brought up anything he didn’t want to share yet.
Once he was done cleaning his space, he walked over to you before snaking his hands around your waist and leaning into your ear.
“You look absolutely beautiful, you know that?” He whispered, leaving chills up your spine. You wrapped your arms around his neck before looking up at him to return the compliment.
“I could say the same for you,” you whispered up at him, looking at how soft his lips were. He suddenly pulled away before grabbing your hand to lead you out of the studio. “Let’s get going huh? I have the whole night planned out for us so I don’t want to waste a second,” he said at a normal volume. You nodded and followed along.
•••
Dinner was amazing. You talked the entire time about your work, families, and hobbies. You felt like you had known Touya for years after you left. It was shocking to you how easily conversation flowed, you usually had to carry the weight of conversation on your other dates. But Touya knew exactly what to say. At the restaurant, Touya offered to take you back to his place, which you happily accepted. You didn’t want the date to end.
The car ride over held a comfortable silence. You were looking out the tinted window at the city lights as you drove, absorbing the beauty while you thought about what you were going to do at Touya’s place. You entered a parking garage and watched as the cars passed while driving to the upper levels.
Touya’s apartment was nothing like you expected. Of course, there was art on every wall, but it was extremely clean and organized. Touya watched as you explored his flat, looking at every drawing and picture with curiosity. He felt his heartbeat speeding up as he watched you. As you were looking at a particularly impressive drawing, you felt arms snake around your waist and a breath on the shell of your ear.
“You know, the second I saw you I knew I had to get to know you, and after that you just got hotter and hotter,” he whispered in your ear, giving you shivers. You turned around to face him, again wrapping your arms around his neck.
“I could say the same for you,” you whispered back, standing on your toes to lean in to kiss him. He smirked before gently pressing his lips against yours. The gentle kiss turned more passionate, and you felt a hand tap on your ass, telling you to jump up. You jumped and he caught you without breaking the kiss, carrying you to his bedroom before throwing you on the bed. He took his shoes off before crawling on top of you to continue the kiss.
You didn’t understand how his kisses were making you this hot and bothered. Maybe it was the combination of delicate and passionate with every move of his lips. Maybe it was how soft his hair felt in your fingers. Maybe it was how his hands explored every inch of your upper half without even taking off your shirt. All of it was driving you crazy. He pulled away to look at how flustered you were, and you felt him get harder from looking at you melting underneath him.
“I promise I don’t usually do this on the first date, but no matter how hard I try I can’t resist you,” he said, expressing his hesitation. He didn’t want you to think he only took you out for sex, and you could see it in his eyes. In response you took off your shirt to let him know it was okay. His eyes widened seeing you in just a bra, then he smirked knowing this was permission to go further. He took off his own shirt before leaning back down to kiss you and explore your body, this time without the barrier of clothing. He felt you breathe heavier at how he grabbed your waist, and he felt how painful his erection was getting at all of your small reactions. If you were this sensitive already, how could you take his cock?
He reached behind your back to unclip your bra, but while he was there he felt the bandage of your tattoo still there. He was going to have to take that off once he was finished with you. He pulled your bra off of your chest and couldn’t help but stare. “You’re so beautiful,” he whispered, his voice trailing off like he didn’t know he said that out loud. You bit your lip in embarrassment, about to cover your chest with your arms. He stopped you in your tracks by pinning your arms back down and kissing you, pressing his bare chest to yours. He felt so warm above you, and you felt comforted by his body heat. After making sure you weren't embarrassed anymore by kissing you, he reached his hands up your waist once again, but this time he didn’t stop at your chest. He grabbed a handful of your tit, causing you to let out a breathy moan into his mouth. You felt him smirk against your lips. He reached the other hand up to squeeze your other tit while starting to toy with the nipple on the first one. You couldn’t help yourself from moaning as he twisted the nipple with his thumb and pointer finger, bucking your hips up to his to create more friction. He started giving the same treatment to the other one, circling his fingers around the hardened bud, making you squirm with pleasure.
“You like that, don’t you?” He smirked in your mouth and your face got hotter. You let out a shy and breathy ‘yeah,’ before pulling his head back down on your puffy lips. You didn’t think you could ever get enough of him. As you kissed you explored his body with your hands, his toned arms, shoulders, back, and abs. You reached your fingers under the band of his pants to tease him, hoping he would take the hint. You were getting uncomfortable with how wet you were, feeling your slick start to seep through your pants. He smirked into the kiss before pulling away to take your pants off. He took his pants off as well, leaving him in his boxers and you in your panties.
“Fuck doll, you’re practically dripping through these,” he said while gently starting to trace his fingers along the outlines of your folds, making you squirm with anticipation. You looked down at his boxers, almost drooling at how big the outline of his cock was. “Heh, like what you see, love?” You nodded eagerly before once again tracing your fingers along the band of his boxers and up his spine and shoulders.
“Patience, babe, I haven’t even eaten you out yet,” he chuckled before pulling your panties down, coming face to face with your sopping cunt. You had no idea what to do. You had never enjoyed anyone eating you out before, so you were nervous about Touya. You prayed to whatever god you believed in he knew what he was doing. You absolutely did not want to stop him because he was bad at eating you out. Your train of thought stopped when you felt Touya bite the inside of your thigh. “What’s wrong, doll?” He asked, looking up at you and rubbing his cheek against the bite mark he just made to soothe it.
“It’s just… I’ve never enjoyed being eaten out…” you said quietly, almost ashamed that you had to express this concern.
“Trust me, ok?” he whispered, kissing down your thigh. You nodded, putting your hands on top of his on your thighs. He finally got down to your folds and gave a light kiss to your clit. You relaxed into his touch, and he took that opportunity to wrap his arms around your thighs and pull you closer to his face. You gasped in surprise, but it turned into a moan when you felt him kiss your cunt sloppily. You laced your hands through his hair, moaning as he lightly sucked on your clit. He brought his fingers down to collect your slick and you felt him smirk on your cunt.
“You’re leaking so much for me, doll,” he said into your clit, the vibrations of his voice making you jump. You tried to respond but your words caught in your throat at him slipping a finger inside of you, curling it upward, and hitting your most sensitive spots. You couldn’t hold on to his hair anymore in fear of ripping it out of his head, so your hands settled on the bedsheets. He started pumping two fingers into your wet hole, circling your clit with his tongue gently. You were the loudest you had ever been, arching your back and gripping the sheets for dear life. You were so right to trust him with this.
“Touya, I’m gonna cum,” you whined in between breaths. He instantly pulled away from you, causing you to whine again, but this time in annoyance. He was smiling wide at how your eyebrows turned upwards, how tears shined at the corners of your eyes, and how your gorgeous chest rose and fell with every breath.
“You haven’t even seen my cock yet and you’re already gonna cum? That was awfully easy for how hard you were making it out to be,” he grinned at your reactions to his teasing. He loved seeing you so desperate for him. He brushed your hair out of your face and grabbed the side of your head, leaning down for a passionate kiss. You felt him moving above you, taking off his boxers while holding your face up so you couldn’t look down. You felt him start to grind against you with his bare erection, earning a moan of surprise at the cold metal of the piercing on his tip. He deepened the kiss, grinding harder on your slick as he did so, causing you to reach up to tangle your hands in his hair for something to hold on to.
“Are you on birth control? Do you want me to get a condom?” he whispered against your lips, grinding lighter so you could respond.
“I have an IUD, so as long as you promise you don’t have any STDs we don’t need a condom,” you smiled up at him. He smiled back. “I promise I don’t have any STDs. I get tested regularly,” he replied while rolling his eyes. You wrapped your legs around his hips, exposing your hole for him to enter. He gave you one last quick peck on the lips before lining himself up with your entrance. His eyes didn’t leave yours as he slid in the tip, getting even more turned on by the way your mouth started to open and your brows started to curl up. Your hands were gripping his shoulders harshly, unable to lift your arms up into his hair anymore. He continued to slide in after he assured you looked fine.
“Ohhhhh fuck, princess, you feel so fucking good,” he threw his head back and moaned. Your back started arching as he bottomed out, your vision going slightly blurry, and nothing but moans and pants escaped your lips. He laid on top of you, going even deeper inside while grabbing the bottom of your chin, forcing you to look at him. “fuck, doll, I don’t know if I can bring myself to ruin a pretty thing like you,” he teased above you, looking deep into your eyes. You wrapped your legs around his hips so he couldn’t move out of you.
“Please, Touya… I want you to ruin me… You can use me however you’d like,” you whispered to the man above you. You watched as his eyes turned into something more crazed, and you watched as he put a pillow underneath your back before slamming into your hole roughly. You yelped and your hands returned to his back, this time clawing red stripes down the length of it. You could tell he loved it by the way he groaned and thrust his hips onto yours. He decided to return the favor by reaching to your chest, circling each nipple with his fingers before pinching and squeezing. You felt your eyes rolling to the back of your head with the overwhelm of pleasure, and you felt tears streaming down your cheeks. You heard Touya chuckle above you.
“Dick too big for ya? That’s too bad, you gave me permission so I’m gonna use this tight hole any way I please tonight,” he said roughly, his voice wavering every time he pounded into you. All you could reply with was “Mmhmmm! Yes, yes, oh fuck,” in a voice way more high-pitched than it usually is. He let out a small laugh at your response.
“I’m gonna make you come now, ok baby?” He muttered, moving one hand from your chest to your cunt, taking his dick out to cover your folds with your slick before rutting back in. You nearly screamed as he brushed his fingers over your folds, spreading your juices all over. He started to stroke over your clit quickly, pushing in your nipple before flicking it intensely with his other hand.
“Ahhhh, fuck Touya, please,” you sobbed out, tears now streaming freely down your cheeks.
“You want me to fill you up, doll? Cum for me and I’ll give you your reward, hm?” You came the instant he told you to, back arching and legs shaking around his waist. Feeling your cumming cunt throb against his cock made Touya come after, filling you up with hot spurts of cum. He kept thrusting into you, your juices mixing in a white froth around the base of his cock, his spurts of spend slowing down with every thrust. Once he was finally satisfied, he slowly pulled out and watched as his cum leaked down over your asshole.
“Fuck, that sight could get me hard all over again,” he smirked to himself before looking up at your face and laughing. You were so exhausted. “C’mon, let's get you cleaned up,” he chuckled while picking you up bridal style and taking you to the bathroom. He sat you down on his toilet before turning the shower on.
“I’m not letting you in the shower until you pee,” he said to you behind his shoulder while feeling the water as it warmed up.
“What? Why?” You asked as his come began to leak out of your abused hole in clumps. “I don’t want you getting any UTIs or yeast infections. That would mean I would have to wait for more than a week to fuck you,” he said as if it was common knowledge. You laughed to yourself in shock. He was planning on fucking you again?
Once he was satisfied with the temperature of the water, he turned around to look at you, still pouting on the toilet. “I can’t pee with you in the room. I just think of you fucking me and my pussy gets tight all over again,” you pouted while looking up at him. He gave you a big laugh at that. You tried to hide your smile as you hid your face in your hands, trying to think about anything other than the man you just fucked. Eventually, it worked.
You stepped in the shower before Touya did, taking a longer time to get your hair fully wet. You heard him step in behind you and felt his arms around your bare waist, his face buried in your neck just where he liked it.
“You’re blocking the hot water, I’m cold!” You complained, turning around to face him. He could only look down at your discolored hardened nipples, licking his lips at what he saw. You rolled your eyes before pushing him aside to get under the water. You reached for his conditioner before he stopped you.
“You’re not gonna let me put your conditioner in? It’s the least I could do after railing you like that,” he said before grabbing the bottle and squeezing a lot more conditioner than he usually used on his hands. “Fine…” you said meekly, not fully trusting him with your hair type. You were surprised to find he was very gentle, coating every chunk of hair with an even amount before moving on to another. He ran his fingers through the strands, lightly combing out any big knots. You relaxed into his hands enjoying the soothing warm water on your chest while you got the chance. After he applied the conditioner he switched spots with you to put in conditioner of his own and wash his hands off.
“Before body wash… let’s see how dirty this little hole is,” he growled before trailing his hands down your stomach and arriving at your slippery folds. He slowly inserted two fingers, curling them upward to gather any cum he left deep inside you. He brought out his fingers and told you to look. There were clear and white streaks of gloss completely covering his fingers, linking the two together. You felt your face get hot with embarrassment.
“Heh, I got really deep inside of you, huh?” He smirked down at you. You just ignored him, grabbing the body wash and putting it on his loofa before cleaning yourself. You didn’t get very far before he stole it.
“C’mon, you get to wash your pretty body every day, why not give me a turn?” He joked as he started rubbing your chest with soap. Once he was satisfied with your front, he turned you around. Before cleaning your back, he slowly peeled the tattoo bandage off and ran it under the water to wash away any excess ink.
“I don’t mean to brag, but I gave you a pretty sick tattoo. Next time I’m definitely gonna have to do backshots,” he smiled while brushing his fingers gently over the ink to wipe away any dead skin accumulated through the day. “Hey, I was the one that designed it!” You bickered, failing to hide the smile in your voice. He chuckled before finishing up with washing your body.
Touya got out of the shower first, drying himself off a little with a towel before wrapping it around his waist and grabbing a towel to wrap you in. He held the towel out with open arms and you stepped into it, getting embraced by the warmth of the towel and his body. You giggled in your towel burrito before looking up at him through the hole at the top. You could almost see the hearts in his eyes. He gave you a peck on the lips before he put out a pair of his boxers for you (your panties were soaked and ruined for the night) and a band T-shirt. You quickly changed before snuggling under his comforter for warmth. Soon after you felt Touya join you, pulling you close against his bare chest and holding your head in his arms.
“I think I’m the luckiest person on Earth,” Touya whispered to no one in particular.
“I could say the same,” you replied.

“Alright.” You sighed as you help up the weight of Leo, your beyond plastered boyfriend, “Come on, just a few more steps, okay?”
Leo groans, mumbling some incoherent words as he slowly lifts his legs onto each step.
“Okay, just-“ you huff, “Lean.. up against, yeah.” You push him back against the wall by the door and fumble to quickly get the house key attached to his key ring.
You drop them and Leo leans forward, “I’ll get’em.”
He leans too far and about knocks you both off of the porch, but the banister saves you from going back, “Leo, stand back up. I have to un-“
The door open and Colby, Leo’s roommate walks out, “I thought I heard something out here, what’s-“
You cut him off, pushing Leo up to stand, “He’s wasted. Again.”
Leo stumbles backwards, “You.. say, that. Like it’s a ba-“ he hiccups, “Bad things..”
Colby grabs him before he can move back any further, “Alright, man. Let’s get you upstairs to your bed, yeah?” Colby glances at you and you shake your head, “I’ll be in. I just-“
“Oh come on! Y/n, cheer up! It’s a p-party!” Leo slurs, “Come to bed with me!”
“I’ll.. be there in a second. I’m going to get you some water and medicine for in the morning.” You walk in behind them and go straight for the kitchen.
Colby laughs as he watches Leo stumble up the steps, “C’mon man. You gotta lift-“ he laughs, “Lifts your legs, dude. There ya go.”
You shake your head, laughing slightly as you open the fridge door. You grab two bottles of water, turning around to set them on the counter before you close the door.
You walk over to the medicine cabinet and reach up to grab the Tylenol. Your fingers push it back and you let out a frustrated sigh as you drop down from your tip toes.
“Need some help?”
Colby startles you for a second, Oh, um. Yeah.” You laugh quietly, “You scared me. Figured you’d be up there for a little.”
“I’m pretty sure he was asleep before he even hit the bed.” Colby walks over and reaches up, big body right next to yours as he reaches up, “Here you go.”
You take the bottle and set it down, “Thanks.”
He leans against the counter, his hand resting on top, “I don’t..” he sighs, “Stop me if I cross a line, but.. isn’t this his fourth night in a row getting wasted like this? I mean I’m not trying to judge.. or anything, but-“
“Yeah.” You cut him off, scoffing as you lay a hand on your forehead, “Yeah.”
Colby stays silent and you take a deep breath, looking over at him, “I’ve tried talking to him.. I-I- I’ve tried telling him that drinking isn’t-“ you shake your head, “Colby.” Your voice breaks, “What.. what do I do?”
He tilts his head, raising his brows as he shrugs, “Whatever you want, y/n. I don’t think-“
“No, Colby. Please. I need someone to tell me something.” You turn towards him and he turns his head towards you, staring at you while he thinks.
“Please.” Your voice is a whisper and Colby reaches up, brushing hair from your face, “I think someone out there can treat you better, someone who has gotten to know you without actually being with you.”
He steps closer, “I think I could treat you better than he can.” He bends down, lifting you up onto the counter, and it’s game over.
His lips are on yours.
Your hands sliding his shirt up his body.
His hands working to pull your shorts down as you move your hips side to side.
“You woke up at three in the morning, might as well make it worth it, yeah?” Colby mumbles as he leans back, discarding his shirt to the floor.
“Just..” you pull him back in, kissing him as you spread your legs and push his sweats down, “Shut up and fuck me.”
He smirks and pulls up into the edge of the counter, his lips on yours as he pulls your panties to the side and thrusts into you.
You throw your head back, one arm around his neck, your other hand flat on the countertop next to you.
“Oh my-“ you lay your forehead against his chest, biting down onto your lip as he thrusts roughly into you.
“Look at me, look at me.” Colby groans, grabbing your hair and tilting your head back, “You deserve so much better than what you’re getting. You hear me?”
You nod, mouth open as your eyes roll back.
“Words, baby.” Colby wraps your hair around his head, gaining full control. You whimper, eyes opening to look at him, “I deserve so much better.”
You swallow, “You can be my better.”
“I’ll kick him out tomorrow.” Colby bites down on his lip, watching as your face twists and turns with the best pleasure you’ve ever received, “Fuck, you are so beautiful.”
You gasp, your walls clenching around him as you reach the edge, “F-fuck, Colby. Colby.” Your nails dig into his skin, creating red trails as they drag across his shoulders, “Y-yes!”
Colby’s lips press against yours as he tries to silence your moans, “quiet, princess.”
“He’s passed out. Probably wouldn’t give a fuck anyway.” You pant, “Fuck, Colby. I-I’m-“ you gasp, nails digging into his skin as you finally spill over into that euphoric feeling that you’ve been seeking.
“That’s it, baby. Let go for me. I got you.” Colby whispers, “Fuck, y-you- fuck.” He pulls out, spilling his cum onto your thigh, “Shit, shit.”
You rest your head back against the closed cupboards, “That..” you laugh slightly, “I can’t believe that just happened.”
Colby fixes his sweats and walks away for a second.
You lay a hand over your mouth, tears welling up in your eyes, “That..” you take a deep breath, laughing away the tears, “Oh fuck.”
Colby steps towards you, wiping off your leg with a towel, “Sorry if I-“
“No, oh god no.” You look up at him, “I don’t..” you take a deep breath, “I don’t regret this, I just.. the timing.. of it..”
He nods, a small smile playing on his lips, “Yeah, no, I completely get it. But I’m sorry if I made you feel-“
“Colby.” You cut him off, “You have nothing to be sorry for, you want to know why?”
He looks up at you, “Tell me, baby.”
You smirk, tilting your head, “Because you have treated me better in these last few months than Leo has. Everytime I’ve hung out here, you were always the one to offer me a drink or food or whatever the case may be.”
“Leo is an immature little boy and I’m just glad we both realized what kind of person he is before he fucked over either one of us over.” He tucks hair behind your ear and kisses your forehead, “Sleep on the couch tonight. I don’t want you anywhere near him.”
You nod, “Already planned on it, but thank you.” You smirk and slip down off the counter, bending down to grab your shorts and fix your panties, “I’m just.. scared how he’ll react you know.”
Colby nods, “I’ll be there, I mean, if you want me to be.”
You nod, “Please, at least hide upstairs or something? I’ll tell him you went out with Sam or.. whatever.”
Colby fights back a smile and you tilt your head, “What?”
He shakes his head, “Nothing, nothing, I just..” he walks over, wrapping his arms around you, “Just thinking about after he leaves, how much sex we’re going to have.”
You laugh, “Colby.”
“What? Celebration sex, ya know?”

the lift
gaz x f!reader | 1.4k words cw: alcohol a/n: received a powerlifter x kyle prompt from an anon. i don't normally take requests, but i've been itching to write something sweet for him. influenced by a recent thing i wrote up about gaz flubbing a flirt. i'm a normie/casual weightlifter. apologies to actual powerlifters. 🏋️
“Fuck me running.”
“Sounds difficult.”
“Get a load of her.”
“Pick your jaw off the floor, and stop staring, lech.”
“You’d be no better if you just looked.”
Gaz rolls his eyes at Soap’s stupefied expression, watching him miss his mouth with his pint glass. Foam spills over onto his shirt, causing the Scot to jerk in his seat and stare at his own appendage in offense.
View must be good for Soap to make himself more of a fool than usual. Kyle adjusts his cap, turns his head to the side in a feigned stretch, and immediately clocks the distraction in question.
A woman in a backless top sits alone at the bar with something fruity in hand. No bra band in sight, no tan lines either. That’s not what glues his eyes to her, though. It’s the rippling muscle the cut of fabric shows off, defined and apparent as she lifts her glass to drink. It continues south, too, her thick thighs spilling over the narrow stool. She looks like she’d give Ghost a run for his money. Like she’d rip him in half like a phone book.
He needs to talk to her.
Kyle turns back to Soap, dabbing at himself with a fistful of napkins. He downs the rest of his beer and then stands.
“I’ll get us fresh drinks.”
Before the lout can breathe a word, he beelines to the bar. Only. When he gets there, it occurs to him he doesn’t know what to say. Any other pretty face, he’d toss out one of his corny but winning lines. Send over a drink. With her, her muscles more impressive up close and wholly focused on a women’s football match, he’s tongue-tied. And that doesn’t happen often. Must be the moon’s position or something.
He bides his time, staring through the screen like he’s watching, thinking of what to say. Avoids the bartender’s curious gaze.
Then, an elbow knocks his arm very gently.
“Fishlock’s a beast, right?”
Kyle’s head swivels, eyebrows to his hairline. The target of his ill-planned op glances between him and the television.
“Yeah,” he sputters out a second too late. “She’s…feisty.” He could break his glass over his head. Feisty? What was he, eighty years old?
To his delight, she laughs, and a rush of heat flares in his stomach at the sound.
“Understatement of the century.”
He chuckles in disbelief at his luck. She gives him another smile. Fuck, he is done for.
“You want to join me? Had a friend cancel, and I hate watching alone.”
“I’d love to,” he says, dropping into the empty stool probably too quickly. Their knees touch, but she doesn’t pull away. He fixes his eyes on the screen after placing an order. He watches the Welsh battle the Ukrainians, absorbing as many names and numbers as possible. His phone burns a hole in his pocket, and he can’t help but wonder how soon he can excuse himself to the toilet to read ten articles on women’s football for a refresher.
When she chimes in with a comment or a jeer, he does his best to reciprocate. Using talents he’s cultivated for infiltration and interrogation to string along a conversation in which he has no business participating.
It goes swimmingly until—
“There y’are, thought I’d have to find a bloodhound.”
Soap.
Kyle shifts in his seat, leveling a stare he hopes both contain whatever bullshit Soap’s preparing to spew—heaps, judging by his awful smirk—and communicates an unsubtle do not fuck this up for me.
“Who’s this?”
Kyle opens his mouth, apparently in preparation to insert his own foot. He hasn’t gotten around to the name bit yet. Too busy learning about women’s football in real time. He looks sidelong at his would-be companion, another soft smile coming to his rescue.
She introduces herself, and he tries not to tack on a silent Garrick at the end of it, just to feel how it sounds. Christ, beyond done for.
“Pleasure to meet you.” She says.
“Oh, the pleasure is all mine, I’m sure. Name’s John, and this is–”
“Kyle. Like he said. Pleasure’s mine.” He offers a hand without hesitation, grinning when she takes it. Nearly groans at the calluses on her palms and fingers. Didn’t know he was into that. He smirks inwardly. Hm. Learning several new things today, Gaz.
“Are you…also here to watch the match?” She asks, gaze flitting between them.
He stares hard at Soap again and witnesses the devil himself whispering into the Scot’s ear. It’s truly an act of divine intervention when the other man shakes his head.
“‘Fraid not. I’ve got to run along, but Garrick’s all yours tonight.” He winks unctuously, waggling a brow to really sell it. “If you don’t mind watchin’ him.”
She smirks and pats his knee. “I’m sure I can handle him.”
Soap looks downright rakish. “Oh, I bet you can. See you in the morn, Kyle.”
He’s torn in two: she’s touched his leg and Soap’s cheek about tomorrow. The idiot lives a door down. They’re both on for PT at 0500. Dickhead.
“He’s friendly.” She muses as they return to the match.
“Too friendly. Like a failed police dog.” He mutters.
“Hmm. Does that make him a bad soldier?”
It takes effort not to choke. Their career, generally speaking, isn’t a secret, only their activities. Still. “Smart guess.”
“Despite his creative haircut, you’re both decently cut and we’re, what, twenty minutes from a base? Plus,” she shrugs. “His tattoo. Giveaway. I would’ve said ‘reenactor wannabe’, but your reaction confirms it.”
Kyle’s tongue swipes behind his teeth. She gets better by the minute. “Yeah? And, uh, what do you do for work?” Something physical, he bets silently. Something that necessitates her kind of build or creates it.
“I’m a tailor.”
Or…not at all.
He can’t stop himself from blurting out. “So the muscles are—“ He abruptly stops, fingers gripping his drink tightly. Sweet Freddie Mercury. Forget smashing a glass over his scalp, he’ll vault through the front door headfirst.
“Powerlifting,” she proudly shares, setting her cocktail down to flex. Her muscles jump beneath her skin, straining into a mesmerizing landscape of strength and power. “My main hobby. If I could make money off it, believe me, I would,” she swings her frame forward and twists, showing off her traps. “But I learned how to sew and alter clothes when I, uh, outgrew conventional sizes.” Disdain paints the word. “Everything I’m wearing I customized to fit me, and me specifically.”
“Genius.” he says simply, mind half-blank when she turns forward again, flexing her biceps and forearms toward her lap. So she’s good with her hands.
A fist uncurls, and a finger crooks up. His face lifts to a smug smile.
“Impressed?”
“Thoroughly.” He swallows.
Her eyes drag over him, slowly and methodically. Picking him apart like a piece of meat. He suppresses a shudder. Yet another thing he didn’t know he liked.
“How much do you weigh?”
A simple enough question. One he’s asked every so often, especially in medical, in between formal physicals. Coming from her, however, it’s an invitation.
And it is.
Straight into her arms.
Half the pub’s watching when she hoists him parallel to the ground, overhead, and squats. For a brief moment, arms crossed over his chest and back rigid, he swears he hears The Time of My Life. When she returns him to solid ground, to the cheers and toasts from the small crowd, he might as well still be in the air. Heavenbound. Preparing to meet Peter.
Eventually, the atmosphere calms, and he finds himself thigh-to-thigh with his strongwoman. They watch the remainder of the match, chatting—mostly about sports and work, but a bit about the little things—he’s not too thick when she offhandedly mentions knowing the neighborhood well. That her place is a few streets over.
He needs to be back on base before sunrise. He tells her as much outside the bar after the Welsh suffer defeat in penalties. He can relate to the feeling, knowing Soap’s gonna give him hell and Price will ream him out if he’s hungover.
“Kyle, you’re cute, but we’re not at the sleepover stage yet,” she teases, picking invisible dust off his shirt. “I can give you a lift when you’re ready to leave.”
Strong. Witty. Confident. Can absolutely rip him in half. There is nothing he doesn’t like about her. So, so fucked.
He grins stupidly when she beckons with a finger, beginning to walk toward her place.
“Premium?” He jokes, following. “I don’t settle for anything less than top-tier car service.”
“Not that kind of lift,” She answers, looking over a sculpted shoulder. “Fireman or princess?”
Kyle almost stumbles.
“Yes.”

You must be 18 years or older to read this...

Summary: you make your boyfriend pay attention to you instead of his book.
Word count: 770
CW: NSFW and adult content, nipple play, fingering/anal fingering, handjob, riding, doggy style, unprotected sex and anal.
Tumblr media
You plopped down on the couch next to your partner, who had most likely made it home just before you and was now sitting, reading his book, you looked down at the page he was on and smiled, it was a spicy scene where a woman had climbed her way on top of the main character and was putting on a show for him. “That’s rather raunchy” you chuckle and Kakashi hummed in agreement, though you had the feeling he wasn’t actually listening to you, “I’m going to shower, I’ll be back soon dear” you leant up and kissed his cheek before leaving the living room.
You stepped out of the shower the watched your reflection, you looked down at your breasts and rubbed your fingers over your nipples until they became perky, you continued to examine your body and wondered why your boyfriend would take such pleasure in the book over you, were you not attracted enough, or maybe not interested enough, or wild enough, you wrapped your towel around you and walked out into the living room, moving towards the couch you looked back down at kakashi’s book, he was now on a page where the two were making love, the woman was on the man still while she touched and toyed with her body, “I’m done” you smile and Kakashi hums, you walk around the couch and drop your towel before pushing the book down, signing for him to look up at you.
As Kakashi’s eyes looked up he scanned your body, “how long have you been there?” He asked staring at your breasts, you pull the book from his hand and place it down on the arm of the chair, you than reach for kakashi’s pants and undo them, pulling out his semi hard member. You pump Kakashi a few times while you reach your free hand down to rub your clit, you moan and squeeze your boyfriend’s tip causing him to groan and throw his head back, you take this chance to climb onto his lap and lower yourself onto his member, slipping it inside you with ease.
“Please take it deep in, it’s not enough” Kakashi groaned as he held your hip, you had yet to sink all the way down onto his cock and was only warming his tip for now, “no actually I don’t think I will” you smiled and grabbed his book, you began reading the page he was last on, the woman was bouncing up and down on the man, you chuckled at a certain line before placing the book back down and lowering yourself completely, Kakashi grip on your hips tightened and he moaned loudly, “aww… it’s not too tight, is it?” You breathlessly chuckled and Kakashi laughed before grabbing your ass, “I’d almost say you like that book more then I do” he smiled and you began bouncing on him, “hmm, not really but it has some good ideas for me to try on you” you winked and grabbed the edge of his mask and pulled it down, you kissed him, invading his space entirely, you felt kakashi’s hands spread your ass cheeks before you felt a finger rubbing over your tightly puckered hole, you moaned and moved hand back down again to occupy your clit as you tried to relax. Kakashi’s finger began to slip inside you slowly, before long though he had begun to pump two fingers quickly in and out of your ass, as you ground yourself on him, “I’m gotta cum” you moaned and began bouncing again, you moaned loudly and your body stopped moving as you came, you than felt Kakashi lift you off him and place you bent over the arm of the couch, before spreading your cheeks again and spitting a large amount of saliva on you loosened hole, “you clearly missed the part explaining which hole she took him in” he chuckled as he sunk into your behind, you whined and grabbed the arm of the couch for dear life, “Kakashi it’s too much” you moaned however your boyfriend only continued trusting in you taking your hole for himself, “you’re right, it is too much… I might cum at any moment, it’s too damn good” he chuckled and pulled you back by the hips, while thrusting roughly forward.
Kakashi moaned and his thrusts became erratic, he grabbed your shoulders and leaned into you, as his body shuddered and a hot sensation filled you, pulling away Kakashi hummed and sat back, he watched at his cum leaked from your hole and down over your cunt, “how pretty… let me pay you more attention”.

#129
“Okay,” the villain says with a sigh. “Where do you think the weakest point of your little fort is?”
The hero next to him, rope wound around his wrists and a less than clean strip of fabric stuffed in his mouth, shrugs halfheartedly. It doesn’t matter: the villain can see a little rounded entrance in his mind’s eye, some kind of sewage system perhaps. Of course. Never the easy—or the scentless—route.
Not many villains have actual powers, much less useful ones. The villain had arrived to the supervillain’s door with everyone else’s thoughts in his head and the supervillain hadn’t thought twice about taking him in. Not many supervillains get to flaunt a mind-reader as part of their team.
The villain traipses around the side of the building, his human map in tow, until he spots the little gap he saw in the hero’s mind. He lowers himself into the hole beyond, dragging the hero with him. It’s miraculously not a sewer—thank god—but some kind of underground tunnel. The gap looks more like a vent now that he’s looking at it from inside.
It only leads one way, thankfully—the two of them pop out, rather conveniently, in an empty corridor. Doors with metal plates stamped to their faces are lined against the walls, clinically white lights shining over them. The villain gives the hero a moment to get his bearings before grilling him again.
“Alright, come on.” The villain glances down the corridor. Still devoid of heroes. “[Superhero]’s office. Where is it?”
The villain sees a door with a metal plate on it, no different to the rest here. That’s all he sees.
“Directions, [Hero],” he snaps impatiently. “A door doesn’t tell me anything.”
The hero makes some whiny noise that could be an “I don’t know”, but the villain sees the hero thinking about the turn to the left so that’s the way he goes.
Left, right, straight on, another right, straight again. The two of them take a turn and the hero’s directions fizzle out.
“You- [Hero],” the villain hisses. “Directions.”
The hero glances about nervously. The villain can tell without having to read his mind that he’s lost.
“Jesus, how the hell do you get turned around in the place you spend every day in?”
The hero ignores that. He spends a moment mentally walking through corridors, and eventually he lands on a path.
They turn back and the hero directs the two of them down more corridors. Right, left, left again, pause to think, right, straight on.
The hero stops on a corner, glancing about, before his mind sets on the superhero’s door again, just around the corner they’re stopped on. The bustle of heroes nearby gives the corridor an uncomfortable ambience. Of course the superhero would choose a spot closest to their allies.
The hero’s thinking of the superhero’s office so intensely that the villain feels a little like he’s doing on purpose.
The nightmare is halfway over. Raid and retreat. “You stay here. If I hear you getting too relieved, I’m going to assume someone’s here and I’ll whoop both your asses. Alright?”
The hero nods shortly and thinks a string of colourful curses. The villain laughs—those are the words of a loser—and rounds the corner to the superhero’s office.
Or what was meant to be their office. The villain pauses in the doorway and is met with several heroes staring back at him, sitting together in what is clearly a canteen.
There’s a confused silence for a moment, before one of the heroes simply says, “First one to catch him gets lunch on me!” and all hell breaks loose.
The villain falls back, his mind assaulted by several people’s thoughts on the food they want, and through the noise he just manages to think of how this was definitely on purpose. He passes the hero on his escape, who’s looking particularly smug.
The villain makes for the way they came, but having a bad map is better than no map. He turns down a dead-end, and the heroes and their thoughts leap on him.
Capture has never been something the villain took with grace, not when he can hear the cheering in the corridor and in his head. The excitement of victory is inescapable, as if they want him to think it too.
The hero grabbing onto him is thinking very vividly of a clubhouse sandwich.

As usual, I would appreciate any and all feedback. I’m happy to once more go on this adventure with all of you! Thank you in advance for your comments and for reblogging ❤️
Tumblr media
“You get some good sleep,” Bucky says as he lingers behind you. You jingle your keys, nearly dropping them as you fish them from your bag. “I’ll be back for my jacket tomorrow.”
“Right, er, you can just take it now,” you turn back and he puts his hand up.
“Just in case, you hold onto it,” his lips curve slightly. “I told ya, I’m sweatin’ in this weather.”
“Oh, okay,” you hate to argue, especially after he’s been so nice. He even walked you off campus. “Uh, thanks... I... I feel better.”
“That’s good, doll. Didn’t even know you were upset? Something I should know about?” He wonders.
You shake your head. You don’t want to think about Peter, let alone mention him. “No, just... college stuff.”
“Ah, got a big assignment? Is that what you and the kid are working on?” He asks.
“Mhmm,” you glance away evasively. “Yeah, homework.”
“Didn’t do much school myself. Was an army brat. Hung around the base, did some smuggling, then I ended up babysitting the little twerp we now know as Captain America,” he scoffs. “Well, that was ages ago. I almost forget...” he shrugs then raises a hand and snaps his fingers, “oh, uh, not to be too forward, you want my number? For emergencies.”
You hesitate. It’s probably a good idea. He’s leaving his coat and you’re not sure how long your study group will take tomorrow.
“Um, okay,” you slip out your phone and shiver as you step back down the walk. “I’ll text you... number?”
He takes out his phone and crackles out a tiny laugh, “you know, I can remember my US Army number, can’t for the life of me keep this one in my head.” He taps and scrolls, “here we are.”
He reads out the numbers and you tap them in. You add him as a contact and open a conversation. You send him a smiley.
“Amazing. Now I can tell Steve I got a pretty girl’s number,” he chuckles. You look at him in surprise. He cringes, “woof, not as smooth as I used to be. Anyway, I’ll be around. Let me know when I can pick the coat up.”
“S-sure.” You agree.
“You have a good night, doll,” he stays where he is, planting his feet as he watches you expectantly.
You head up the walk and your keys tinkle once more as you unlock the door and push inward. You glance over your shoulder as he watches. He nods. It’s nice of him to make sure you’re safe. You give a wave then go inside.
You’re just happy to be back at your dorm.
❄
You wake up early despite the late night. You’ve never been very good at sleeping in. You get washed up, take your meds, and get dressed in a pair of wool tights and a cozy knit dress. As you go to leave, you stop short. Bucky’s fleece-lined leather hangs on the chair. You wonder what happened to your jacket.
The winds whistle outside your window. You don’t have any other coats, just the one. You shrug on the loose leather and zip it up. It smells a bit like cedar.
You get out the door early enough to buy a tea at the cafe on your way to the library. Your group for your lab is all there but one. You sit down but they hardly seem to notice. You don’t know how you’ll get anything done when they just stare blankly when you read out the instructions.
You muddle through. It’s awkward because they all seem to know each other but none of them are very nice to you. In the end, you’re stuck with most of the work and they’re talking about the movie theatre.
You pack up and they leave in pairs. You stand and grab the leather coat, hugging it under your arm as you check your phone. You’re going to check out a few shelves before you head off.
As you push in the chair with your hip, a message blips up in the top of the screen. Bucky. You don’t get to read his message before your name pulls your head up.
“Hey, been looking for you,” Peter says. “Got your coat...” He squints as his eyes fall to the coat over your arm. “That’s a bit big, isn’t it?”
“Oh, it’s... borrowed.”
“Borrowed? From who?”
“Doesn’t matter,” you say as your scalp tingles. “Thanks for bringing that back.”
You reach for your coat but he does the same and latches onto the leather. You try to tug both away. He yanks Bucky’s coat away and shakes it out. He snorts as he looks it up and down. His eyes snap up derisively and he throws it on the ground.
“How the hell did you get that?” He growls.
“I...”
“No, why the hell are you carrying around his coat? He’s an old fucking man.”
“Peter,” you bend to pick up the coat.
“I’m not stupid. His dumb pin is on it. No wonder you ran out last night. You act like I’m the one messing around and you’re sneaking around with Bucky Barnes?” He sneers.
“I wasn’t sneaking--” You lift the coat and hold it against yours. You back up as you pout at him. “Why are you yelling?”
“I told you I liked you and now you’re walking around in another guy’s coat. Why wouldn’t I?” He pauses and looks around, only then aware of his audience. “Oh, right, it’s a library.” He speaks louder as he throws his arms out, “guess I need to be quiet!”
You cringe and turn back to swipe up your bag. You keep your head down as your heart races and your breath begins to burn your chest. You turn back but can’t look at him. You keep a wide breadth as you step around him, bracing for him to do something.
He just snarls as you pass, “you’re such a baby.”
You hurry out, cheat thumping, head spinning, each step faster than the next. When at last you get to the first floor and burst out onto campus, your temples are pulsing. You struggle to untangle your bag from the coats and finally bury your hand deep inside. You take out your puffer but it slips from your frantic grasp.
It bounces across the pavement and you cough and wheeze. Before you can reach for it, someone else does. You look up at Bucky as he stands straight. He looks you up and down and holds it out, “whatsa matter, doll?”
You take it eagerly and suck on the end, puffing several times. He moves to block the wind as it whips around you. You finally steady yourself and hug the coats.
“N-nothing,” you utter, “here. I have your coat.”
He eyes you wearily as you pull his coat from under yours and hold it out. He takes it reluctantly as his mouth slants, “thanks. Where you off to?”
“Just... groceries,” you shiver as you open your coat.
“Groceries it is,” he says, “I’ll carry your bags.”
You’re too out of it to protest. You need to get out of there before Peter catches up to you. You’re embarrassed after the scene he made in the library and you don’t need another. You just nod and pull your sleeves up your arms.
“Thank you,” you murmur.

Nicknames
“Can you pass me that book?” Regulus points to the text sitting next to James.
“Are we going to do anything more interesting today?” James’ voice is bordering on whiney as he passes it across the table.
“I told you I was studying. You were the one that decided to grace me with your ever annoying presence.” He opens the book and starts flipping through the pages.
“You know you love it,” James’ teasing tone isn’t at all subtle.
They’ve been playing this game for months now. The game where James flirts overtly and Regulus pretends that he doesn’t flirt back. Where they find excuses to spend time together. Where Regulus lets James interrupt his study session when it’s very clear he has no intention of letting him actually study.
“Come on!” There’s no reply from the younger boy who would look entirely indifferent if it wasn’t for the small crease between his brows that indicates that he’s not doing a very good job at blocking James out. “Reggie.”
He looks up then, eyebrows now knitted into a thick line. “No.”
A smirk. “What?”
“You are not calling me Reggie.”
“Why? Sirius does.”
“Sirius is my brother and incredibly annoying.”
James’ smirk turns into a grin. “Oh so you don’t find me annoying then?”
“I told you I did less than thirty seconds ago.”
“You’re such a bad liar.”
Regulus rolls his eyes in the way that makes James’ stomach do a little flip and goes back to ‘ignoring’ him.
James is silent for approximately five seconds. “You can give me a nickname if you’d like.”
“I’m good, thanks.”
“Seriously, you can call me whatever you want.”
“Noted.”
“You can even call me tonight if you like.”
That stops him. It also makes him look up and meet James’ eyes. “Really, Potter?”
James raises his eyebrows, smiling again. “Didn’t like that one?”
“You’re a walking, cliche.”
James laughs. “So is that a no to the nickname then?”
A pause. “I’ll think about it.”
—
A week later and James walks into the Slytherin common room.
“Potter, to what do we owe this honour?” Barty asks, not even bothering to get up from where’s he’s laying across Evan’s lap on one of the sofas, spinning his wand between his fingers.
Pandora is reading cross legged in an armchair and looks up with a warm smile that contrasts her brother’s suspicious one.
“Hi guys. Have you seen Regulus?”
“Let him out of your sight for once, huh?” Evan asks with raised eyebrows.
“Yes. Well, no- I mean. He’s not always-“
“Eloquent as ever, I see,” Barty laughs and Pandora shushes him.
“Oh stop it you two,” she looks at James, “he’s upstairs. Sometimes he needs to escape from these idiots.”
She shushes them again as they start to argue and they settle back down with a grumble.
James nods. “Right, well do you think he’d mind if I drop something to him? I accidentally took his quill from the library the other day and I’m not sure I want to find out what happens if he thinks I stole it.”
Evan shrugs. “He’s your boyfriend, Potter. Do what you want.”
Everything stops.
James can hear his heart beating in his ears.
Pandora’s smile has dropped. “Are you okay James?”
James takes a deep breath and nods his head, blinking so the room starts moving again. “Yep, all good. I’ll go deliver this quill to my… boyfriend.”
The word comes out slowly as James gauges their reactions, waiting for one of them to laugh at him, to laugh at their joke.
Instead they stare at him. “Okay…” Evan says eventually.
James doesn’t remember walking through the common room or up the stairs. He doesn’t remember knocking on Regulus’ door or opening it to find him sitting cross legged on his bed, book opened in his lap and beautiful eyes wide in surprise at the sudden intrusion. He doesn’t remember anything before the words that fall out of his mouth.
“Why did Evan just call me your boyfriend?”
Recognition appears in his eyes, then and his mouth curls up into a knowing smile. “You told me I could call you anything.”
“I was talking about a nickname, Regulus.”
“And?”
James has to stop himself from looking at the camera that’s surely filming him right now. This can’t be an actual conversation he’s having, surely?
“Boyfriend is not a nickname. It’s a thing.”  He moves closer to Regulus’ bed as he talks, his words faster than usual. “It’s something a person is, it’s… romantic.”
Regulus blinks before putting down his book and getting up off his bed so they’re standing across from each other. “Thank you for defining the word boyfriend, Potter. And for the clarification.” His tone is definitely sarcastic but James has no idea how to respond.
“You’re welcome,” is what comes out. James kicks himself for it.
“So are you saying you don't want me to call you that any more?” Regulus’ facial expression seems neutral but there’s a hint of something else there.
“No,” the word escapes before he even realises he’s said it. “I mean yes. I mean-“ he stops and takes a breath before meeting Regulus’ eyes. They’re softer than usual. “Are you sure?”
Regulus hums before he smiles and takes a step forward, reaching out to place his hand on James’ cheek and momentarily causing him to stop breathing. “It suits you, you know? Your new nickname, I mean.”
James lets out a noise that sounds startlingly close to impatience before he finds himself leaning in, and then Regulus’ lips are on his and his hands are in his hair and he forgets any name he’s ever had for a second, a minute, an hour, an indeterminate amount of time before they pull apart again.
He’s smiling now as his heart beats quickly in his chest, and as the younger boy smiles right back James only has one question:
“So can I call you Reggie now?”
“Absolutely not.”
“Oh,” James pouts and Regulus rolls his eyes before reaching down to take his hand, lacing their fingers together.
“I guess you’ll just have to settle for boyfriend.”
James’ eyes move from their hands to Regulus’ face. “Oh.” His voice is softer now, light. “I think I can make that work.”

“Will I die..?”
Those words haunted him.. it’s been 826 days. 2 years, 3 months and 6 days.. those exact 3 words never left his mind. It became a part of him. He promised.. promised to.. be with you..till the end. As he still grieves with your loss.. he tries to recover but that seems impossible.
“No I won’t let that happen trust me.. I’ll make sure you’ll live..” you let out a sob of pain.. the pain of leaving him.. and also the pain you’re in now. “Jake but..-“
“No.. don’t finish it..” He shuts his eyes.. your blood on his hands as he tries to stop it. He couldn’t lose you. Without you he’ll be lost. He wanted to keep living for you. Even with the ups and downs of your relationship.. although you both weren’t actually together.
You cough out blood. Losing consciousness each second passing by. “Jake just so you know..”
“Stop.. you're not dying..” you reach your hand and place it on top of his while you lay on the ground. “Jake.. I love you.. so much..” you say weakly. “Please stop.. I’ll get help soon..” his vision starts getting more blurry. He couldn’t lose you now.
“I don’t want to die.. please..” you begged. “Love.. I promise.. promise once we’re both out of here.. we’ll move away for a new fresh start. None of this dirty work…” You smiled at the thought, the thought of paradise where no restrictions could stop you both. Your love was too strong. Jake’s gaze softened. Your smile was so beautiful, pretty.
His pretty girl.
“What if I do di-“ you started he didn’t want to hear any what if’s good or bad. The thought of losing you scared him to death. He dealt with many losses but this one. This one may be the worst. “I won’t let that happen.. Please just keep looking at me. Don’t think..” He didn’t want to cry not when you were on the verge of losing your life
Your sobs quiet down a bit. Slowly trying to breathe at a normal pace. You hold Jake’s hands in yours. This may be the last time. Who knows. Jake took one hand and smiled at you. He smiles, becoming weaker and weaker. The cold feeling against his skin. You have a gunshot wound.. He tried to distract you from it. Despite his own injuries. Jake picks you up, noticing you losing your consciousness a bit, but still breathing. He starts walking towards the exit. You both were so close. Until a stupid bastard decides to shoot you before fleeing.
Each step took too much effort. Exhausted reaching him. Jake pushes through. You weren’t going to die. You were going to live and move far away from this country and live a happy life. Your skin is getting colder and colder and even pale. He didn’t want to lose hope.
“You know you're the only person I really opened up to..” you spoke while taking a sip of your coffee. Jake stared at you in surprise. He felt his heart start racing. Was he gaining feelings?
“Why..? Why did you trust him? I loved you. To even think of giving up my long life dream to stay here with you!!” You yelled tears down your face.
“No it’s not that he had documents that proved—“ “Prove what! Jake.. I’m leaving. I can't be in this mess any more.” Jake stayed silent. “No you’re not leaving” you sighed in frustration, tears streaming down your face.
“I trusted you! And yet here you are.. betraying me.. Jake those papers are fake. I never worked for those people.”
The memories of how you got here flooded his mind. Jake pushes the door open. But it wouldn’t budge open. For fucks sakes hurry up. “Open this fucking door.” He was losing his cool each second with your life on the line. He had to hurry. Once the door finally opens he rushes through.
“You're here..” he says as he sees the team's doctor.. he sets your body onto the ground.. “Hurry up save her..” he demanded he was going to get you back. The doctor was startled. But quickly acted fast on saving you.
And 2 hours passed. He was getting anxious as he waited outside of the truck. Were you alive..? And finally once the back door opens the doctor steps out. Silence. “How’s she..?” He felt his gut twist. “I-I’m sorry..”
Jake could feel his heart crack. Bleeding out. Not you. Why you! He promised to keep you alive, but it was far too late. “What do you mean.. she still had a pulse when we got here.. how did she—“ He was in rage. History repeats itself. His life was always shitty and it just kept getting worse. Too much happened in one night.
“I don’t believe you.” He was in denial. He walked towards the doctor before he grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. “Why didn’t you try hard enough?” The doctor pushes him off. “I did!.. She lost too much blood.
And here he was now.. sat down right here.. staring at your face. You always looked so beautiful. His heart is still beating for you. He visited you everyday. Never missing a day. The memories always came back whenever he was here. How he could’ve been quicker, how he could’ve stopped you from getting there in the first place.
He shakes.. tears threatening to come out. He lets go. Letting his emotion take over. He was a weak man when it came to you. You had that affect.
I miss you each day.. wishing I would wake up and the first thing I see is you. I miss the days where I would go to work and see you. The highlight of my day.
You, my love made me feel another way no else could make me feel. I love you. I fell hard for you. Even with my rough past. You managed to get past my guard, tearing it apart.
I will never let you go.. my love.. my pretty girl. You’re the reason why I live today.
To see you here laying in peace. No parasites to harm you. No one will harm you. I wish I told you how much I loved you. I had many chances, but it’s far too late. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. Don’t forget that. Now sleep peacefully love.
Jake sets the flowers down on your grave, smiling. He strokes your headstone, staring at your photo. He places a kiss on it. He gets up before walking away. Tomorrow he’ll see you again, and again, and again, and again, and again…

Ruined Plan
I'm back again! Happy reading and please excuse any inaccuracies in my writing.
Pairing: Harvey Specter x Female Reader
Donna stared at her screen in disbelief and gasped. She closed her eyes and looked at the screen one more time and looked behind her, at her boss’ office. She printed the document on her computer and invited herself into Harvey’s office. She waited in front of Harvey’s desk while he was on the phone. Not long after Harvey hung up the phone and he raised his eyebrows at Donna. “Are you going to say something or are you just gonna stand there looking like fish out of water?” Harvey said as he jolted down something on a document in front of him. “Why didn’t you tell me?” Donna asked him in disbelief. “Tell you that I’m the best closer this town has ever seen? I think the world knows, Donna.” Harvey smirked and looked back down at the document. “If it’s a guessing game, we have to pen it down for another day. As you know, this case has been going on for far too long.” Donna didn't say a thing but instead slid the document she printed just minutes ago. Harvey peeked at the document and asked “Why are you looking through my bank statement?”
Donna rolled her eyes so hard, for a second she was scared it won’t get back. “To make your usual monthly financial report, Harvey. What else?” Harvey waved the page absentmindedly in the air. “And what am I supposed to do with this?” Donna leaned on his desk and pointed to a specific date. “Cartier? That much? On a lunch break?” Donna asked as she straightened herself. “You’re proposing,” Donna said matter of factly. Harvey grinned so wide that it scared Donna. “The thought was just so sudden and I thought why not.” Harvey shrugged. “And why didn’t you ask for my help to pick out the perfect ring?” Donna paced in front of his desk, looking like the world was about to collapse. Again, Harvey just shrugged. “The ring must be here. Show me the ring.” Harvey squinted his eyes at her. “Harvey, I swear to God if you choose not to show me the ring, I’ll turn your office upside down and nothing will stop me.” Harvey put his hands up in defense and retrieved a key inside a little compartment underneath one of his basketball cases and opened a middle drawer in his desk. He carefully took the box and handed it to Donna. With the same care, Donna took the box in her hand. “Let’s see if we can return this ring if it turns out to lo…” Donna said seriously and stopped herself once she opened the box fully. “Well?” Harvey stood up with his hands in his pockets and smirked.
Tumblr media
Donna nodded and grinned “Wow, you’ve outdone yourself. This looks beautiful, simple yet elegant. And jeez, Harvey. Are you trying to blind anyone who looks her way?” Harvey’s smirks grew significantly bigger. “Kinda need to show everyone she’s off the market.” He said proudly and Donna burst into a huge fit of laughter at the prospect of seeing Harvey finally getting married and most importantly, happy. “I know this case is important and you’re swamped. But let’s take 30 minutes to plan the actual proposal. This is a very important matter, Harvey." Donna sat at the chair in front of Harvey’s desk and moved his laptop to face her.
—----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The sound of his own phone startled Harvey. He doesn’t remember when was the last time he looked up from piles upon piles of documents on his desk. He cracked his neck before he moved the documents around to find his phone. Harvey instantly smiled. “If it isn’t the most gorgeous girlfriend a man could ever ask for.” Harvey leaned back in her leather chair as he was immersed in the sound of laughter from the other side of the line. “Flattery won’t bring you anywhere, Mr. Specter.” Harvey smiled “But I’m known for my flattery and charm.” Harvey paused, “Is everything okay?” he suddenly worried as to why she called and it was not even 10 am. “All is well, Commander. Just asking if you could pencil me down for a lunch picnic today?” His heart heaved suddenly, Heaven knows how much he wanted to go and how hard it is to say no to her. But at least she wasn't here to show him the pout. “Oh baby, as much as I love the idea, I’m seriously swamped.” Harvey heard a big sigh and the sound of the fridge door closed. “Still?” he heard her pout. Damn it, Harvey thought. He thought not being with her and not seeing the pout will help. But now, he heard her pout. Great. “Unfortunately, still. I’ll make it up to you. Okay?” Harvey tried to reason with her as he thought of the getaway Donna and him planned earlier and smiled. “No worries, baby. Good luck with your case, okay? Don’t forget to ask Donna to bring you something for lunch. Don’t forget to eat lunch or I’ll send the SWAT team down there to shove a hotdog down your throat.” Harvey laughed heartily at her threat. “I won’t. Gotta go, the DA office called. I love you.” Harvey heard a cheerful I love you as he hung up.
—----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Donna entered Harvey’s office exactly at 1.30 pm. “Your 1.30 appointment is here.” Harvey looked up, bewildered. “What appointment? I told you to clear up my schedule today. I’m busy.” Before Harvey saw her, he already smelled the mixture of vanilla and rose. “Even for me?” she said sweetly as Donna left the room and closed the door behind her. Harvey stood up immediately and walked up to her. “You’re too busy now for me, Mr. Naming Partner?” she smirked as Harvey enveloped her in his embrace. “Don’t worry, I won’t be long. I called Donna and she told me you refused lunch. So I took matters into my own hands and made you lasagna. I’ll only drop this.” she gestured to a lunch bag that he realized just now. “I thought you'd send a SWAT team? You’re damn pretty for I thought would be 10 bulky men.” Harvey said as he gently squeezed her ass and smirked before delicately pecking her lips. “Harvey!” she slapped her hand across his chest. “No fraternizing in the office!” she scolded, face all serious. “You won’t work here until at least another month. You’re here as my girlfriend. And maybe we could make use of the copy room? Or hmm, the file room?” She laughed though he earned another slap across his chest. “I thought you were busy? Come on, eat your lunch.” She separated herself from Harvey’s arms and he involuntarily frowned at the absence of her in his arms. She opened the lunch bag and laid down the food containers on another side of his larger desk for him to eat. “Come, Harvey. You should eat.” she frowned and she called for Harvey. He sat down and now he felt hungry. Between the sight and the smell of this lasagna, he realized that he has been working on an empty stomach. “That ain’t so hard, right?” Harvey nodded, mouth full of food. “Are these the files you've been going through since last night?” she gestured to the ones on the table and a few boxes near his desk. Again, Harvey nodded. “Won’t you eat with me?” He opened the lunch bag to find another lasagna for her. “Meh, I’ve had lunch at home. Thought I will just drop your lunch,” she said as she squatted beside one of the boxes. “I’ll take half of these files. You finished your lunch first.” She took a few boxes with her and brought them to his sofa. “Babe, you don’t have to. You’re not even working here yet, the merger isn’t yet effective. Go out and have a spa day or something. Thank you, but I have it handled.” Harvey said after he gulped a big amount of water. “I won’t have it, Harvey. I’m free to help and I won’t go. Well unless you call the SWAT team." They smirked at each other as she flopped down the sofa and started with the box on the very top. Harvey stared at her as he chowed down the last bit of his lunch. How come he scored such a beauty? She leaned her back, documents opened in front of her, as she pouted while fully concentrating on the task at hand. She folded both legs, hitched her summer dress, and revealed her smooth thighs. What a pretty sight, he thought to himself. Since 3 days ago Mike got sick, this is the first day he felt happy by the news. He looked down at his lunch and something occurred to him so suddenly. He just realized how devoted she is to him. Her bringing him lunch now wasn’t the first time. She’s taking good care of him. They had been together for a tad more than a year now since she was working with her previous firm, been living together for over 7 months now Even when she was busy working, he always got home to dinner. Sometimes even home-cooked lunches brought by herself to his office. The warm baths she always knew he needed without him saying anything. How she knew what to pour him. White, red, whiskey, or bourbon. How all his friends love her. Adore her even. That never really happened with his previous partners.
He had to make her his now. Scratch that, he needed to make her his now. He moved carefully to his desk, as carefully as he could without disturbing her. He took the key and opened the drawer. He checked the box and sighed in relief as he saw the ring still in place.  He sat up straight and fixed his tie before walking up to her. She didn't even bother to look up, thought he must've needed something from one of the boxes she took. It then caught her attention when she saw him standing on one knee. “Harvey?” she looked at him quizzically. He pulled out the red box from his suit jacket and she gasped. She put her legs down, both hands covered her mouth as he opened the box. Exposing the ring. “This is not how I, actually me and Donna, planned it. We were supposed to be in Boboli Garden when I asked you this question. But I can’t wait that long. You are my life and I never loved anyone as much as I love you. You are the best thing that ever happened to me. Marry me.” Harvey looked at her sincerely and his eyes glistened. “Yes” her voice was just above a whisper. “Yes yes yes! An infinite amount of yes!!” She shrieked. Harvey smiled widely as he slid the ring down her slender finger. She put up her hand and admired the ring “Goodness, this is beautiful.” Harvey wrapped his arms around her waist and brought her up with him before spinning her around. Harvey stopped, her feet still hadn't touched the ground. Their foreheads touched as they grinned at each other. “I love you so much” she whispered as she closed their distance. “Not even in a proposal will Harvey Specter ask” Both of them laugh, as they kiss again. They separated in shock as Donna swung open the door so hard. She inspected the sight before her and screamed “HARVEY HOW COULD YOU PROPOSE TO HER IN YOUR OWN OFFICE?!?! WE'VE MADE A PLAN!”

If you had known, would you’ve come?
Tom convinces his brother to help him get a date with a girl that actually doesn’t like him one bit, but Tom has it all figured out, except for maybe the falling in love part. Leave it to a Riddle to underestimate love. + brother dynamic Mattheo/Tom
Last cameo is Daisy ( @musingsofahufflepuff ). This sweet Hufflepuff is Mattheo’s girlfriend and Mattheo convinces her to help him set you up with his brother.
Tom II Riddle won the poll thingy I did a few days ago, so here it is, my first Tom II Riddle x reader. I loved writing Tom and Mattheo as brothers. I don’t know a lot about the popular opinion on Tom II, so I kinda just went with a general Tom vibe. Tomorrow I’ll start working on the requests so expect the first one to pop up one of these days. But for now, happy readings!
I added part 2
Tumblr media
“Hey, little brother.” Tom appears next to Mattheo, startling the younger Riddle. After a second Mattheo regains his composure. “So, am I in trouble or you?” Mattheo asks, making Tom smile. “You, it’s always you.” Mattheo rolls his eyes. “You’re failing potions.” How does he know everything? “Yeah, I missed a few essays. Nothing, I can’t fix.” Tom raises his eyebrows. Sure, you can, you little overconfident bimbo. “Well, I’ve been so kind as to write essays for you that can get your grade up.” Mattheo stops walking and turns to face his brother. “Kind? Funny. What’s the catch?” Tom stares dryly at his younger brother, annoyed with his witty attitude, but nevertheless grabs a bundle of papers out of his bag. “I’ll even give you my notes and summaries.” Mattheo nods as he curiously eyes his brother. “Ask your redhead girlfriend to set me up with (y/n), they’re friends, so it shouldn’t be a problem.” Mattheo tilts his head like he didn’t just hear his brother ask for a date with (y/n). “Why not ask her yourself?” Tom looks at Mattheo with dull eyes, like he just asked the most ridiculous question possible. “Cause she hates me.” Mattheo opens his mouth, but Tom interrupts him. “No more questions. Do you want these or not?” He waves the papers in front of Mattheo. Mattheo’s tongue pokes his cheek as he stares at his stoic brother with dark eyes, considering his options.
***
”How’s the most beautiful girl at Hogwarts doing?” Mattheo slings his arm around Daisy and kisses her cheek, making her smile. “You skipped class.” She says with judgy eyes. Mattheo licks his lips and stares her down with playful eyes. “Because I was busy dreaming about you.” Daisy rolls her eyes and pushes him away. “Very funny.” Mattheo follows her and whispers with a cheeky smile. “It’s true though.” A soft giggle escapes her and he smiles genuinely happy to have her, but then his face turns serious. “I hate this, but I need a favor.” Daisy frowns. They had been dating for almost a year and never had he asked for a favor, so she was immediately intrigued. “My brother wants a date with (y/n).” Daisy starts laughing out loud, before realizing Mattheo was serious. “No.” She says sternly.
“Hey, hey, what happened to all that hufflepuff kindness?” Mattheo argues as he pulls her closer. “You brother’s not the kind of guy who I want to set up with my friends.” Mattheo’s shoulders drop. “Why?” The hufflepuff averts her eyes, not liking what she’s about to say. “Cause he’s scary?” Mattheo’s lips form a line. “Right.” He lowers his head. “But you gave me a chance.” Mattheo’s eyes are innocent and Daisy purses her lips, thinking back to how Mattheo ruined every date she went on before admitting he liked her and actually asking her out. “Yeah I did, but I also knew there was a soft side to you.”
“My brother has a soft side, I’m sure, somewhere.” Mattheo frowns, seriously wondering for a moment if his brother had a soft side. “Look, he needs someone in his life, unless you want him to be the weird uncle that tells our kids that life is meaningless, downs a bottle of wine and murders people, not necessarily in that order, I honestly don’t know with my brother. The thing is he deserves a date, a chance.” Mattheo sighs, struggling to defend his brother. “Our kids?” Daisy questions with shiny eyes, loving the idea that Mattheo thinks about having kids. Mattheo feels himself get flustered and shakes his head. “Not the point of this conversation.” Daisy nods knowing that her boyfriend is right. “He deserves a date.” Mattheo smiles. “(y/n). Tonight. 7pm sharp at the wooden bridge. He has something planned.” Daisy frowns and sighs. “(Y/n) hates him. She’ll never agree to go out with him.” Mattheo nods. “Just tell her it’s a blind date.”
***
You were a bit nervous as you walked down the long wooden bridge, but mostly excited. You hadn’t been on a date in a while so when Daisy proposed to organize a blind date with a handsome and intelligent guy, who was one year older and wiser, you were easily convinced. Though, considering she was dating Mattheo Riddle you probably should’ve known her taste in men was worrying, not to say alarming. However, you fully trusted the sweet hufflepuff and chose to wear your most fancy dress, ready to impress. As you neared the end of the bridge you started to worry that you might even be overdressed. The wind blew through your perfectly done hair as you scanned your surroundings. “Seven sharp.” You whisper to yourself and check your watch, before looking around and softly chewing your lip. It’s then that you notice a small glimmer, only a few steps away. When you take the last step of the bridge your feet don’t land in the grass, because suddenly you’re in a room.
You twirl around admiring the beautiful decor. Someone conjured an entire room? A soft sound of admiration leaves your lips and you hear a soft chuckle. “I knew you would like this.” Your blissful face falls when you meet the man with the gentle voice. “Tom?” He walks towards you. “Shall I take your jacket?” He offers a hand and you stare at it. “No, I- I have- uhm a date.” You stutter and he pulls his hand back, watching as your eyes search for the way you came in. Your back is turned towards him when you realize there are no doors. “I’m aware you have a date. Since I’m your date.” Tom says dryly and you quickly turn around. “That can’t be. Daisy would never set me up with-” You fall silent when you look around the room and spot a perfectly decorated diner table, when you meet Tom’s eyes you see something you’ve never seen in his eyes, vulnerability.
“You didn’t know I was your date, did you?” Tom asks and you feel your heart sink. No of course not, no one I know would willingly go on a date with you. Tom doesn’t need an answer, he already knows and averts his eyes. “If you had known, would’ve come?” His voice is serious and yet filled with so much emotion. However, as soon as the question is out there he decides he doesn’t want the answer to that question either and reaches for his wand. “I’ll conjure a door for you.” Immediately you take a step towards him, making him lower his wand. “I honestly don’t know.” He examines your every expression as your eyes dart around in search of words. “Maybe I would’ve come, maybe not. I don’t know.” You chuckle and take another step towards him. “I wouldn’t have believed it. I mean you and I on a date, that’s ridiculous, who would come up with that.” You let out a short laugh. “I did, it was my idea.” Your eyes shoot up to meet his and you frown. “Why? We hate each other.”
Tom smiles and puts his wand away. He seems more relaxed and licks his lips. “You might hate me, but I definitely don’t hate you.” The surprise and confusion on your face makes Tom chuckle. “We have our differences, but I admire you.” You shake your head. “No, no, you’re Tom Riddle, you treat everyone like they’re less than you. You don’t organize sweet dates with.. uhm.. scented candles, and.. my favorite flowers and .. my favorite snacks-” You feel yourself get flustered as you notice every small detail is for you. “I treat everyone like they’re less than me, because they are.” You roll your eyes, but he ignores it and continues. “Except for you, your determination and consideration makes me believe you might be my equal.” There’s genuine admiration in his voice and you’ve never felt so recognised by anyone before.
You open your mouth to say something, but can’t find any words and just purse your lips, while staring around the room. “Can I have your jacket now?” He asks and after a moment of silence you turn your back towards him and let it slide down your shoulders for him to take. You take a few steps to the dinner table, before turning around to face Tom again who’s carefully scanning you down. When his eyes land on yours you tilt your head judging him for his staring and making him chuckle. “You caught me off guard. I’m used to you being beautiful, but tonight the English language fails to have a word that honors you.” Your lips part and your cheeks heat up. “Normal guys go for something like you look good or hot.” Tom nods and walks to one of the chairs at the table, moving it for you to sit. “And you wonder why I think they’re less than me.” You take a seat and shake your head at his words, but don’t argue with him.
Your eyes scan the table and you can’t believe how perfect it is. A small paper unfolds itself and announces the upcoming dishes and your eyes move to Tom. “A normal date would have sufficed.” You smile at him but he’s not pleased with your words. “I’m sorry if anyone ever made you feel like anything less than this should be enough for you.” You laugh nervously and lean over the table. “Are we on a date or are you courting me?” You whisper with a slightly amused smile, until you see his reaction. “Well, I’m an ambitious man, but I know where I stand so I’ll be patient.” At first you’re baffled by his honesty, but then you smirk. “There’s something about you Riddle men and having a serious amount of confidence, you’re different, but in heart you’re very much the same.”
Tom rolls his eyes. “I rather not be compared to him.” You laugh and he smiles as his heart warms seeing you happy. You notice the warm glint in his eyes and just know that tonight will be lovely.
***
“You know I have muggle friends.” You blur out as you’re both walking the wooden bridge in the direction of the castle. “I’m aware.” He says dryly, but still relaxed and sweet. You need to know his honest opinion, if you truly want to let yourself fall in love with him. “No one’s perfect.” He shoves his hands in his pockets, something you’ve rarely seen him do and you look away, feeling the disappointment squeeze your heart. “You despise me for it.” He says and you look up at him. “Yes.” He stops and so do you, there’s a soft silence as he looks at the water and you just look at him. “I believe I can convince you that my view of mudbloods is the right one.” His voice is stern, but not mean. It takes a moment, but to his surprise a smile tugs on your lips and you close the distance between you two. “I think I can turn your whole world upside down.” You whisper, while he stares you down and feels himself heat up at your closeness. “Cute, but-” You don’t let him continue and snake an arm around his neck, before leaning in and kissing him tenderly. When you break the kiss your eyes lock with his and you can feel his heart race. His arm wraps around your waist and he pulls you closer. Tom’s tongue moves around in his mouth as he’s obviously overthinking something. “Maybe.” He eventually admits, but it’s the smile that now creeps up your lips and your shiny eyes that make him seriously worry about how truly madly in love he is with you.
***
“How was the date?” Mattheo asks from his usual spot on the couch and Tom scans the empty common room. “You seriously stayed up to ask me how my date went?” Mattheo shrugs. “Well-” Tom starts, but immediately stops himself from talking about it. “I’m not telling you. We rarely talk and that’s not going to change. It was one date. It means nothing. I’m still the same person I was before this date.” Mattheo raises his eyebrows and tries to hide his amusement. “Sure.” Tom groans at his brother’s annoying attitude and turns around heading for his room. “Whipped.” Mattheo whispers, just loud enough for his brother to wonder if he actually heard that right, but he chooses to ignore his younger sibling and enters his room.

Pop Star Princess
Billy Butcher x Pop Star fem!reader
I was inspired by this post 🤣
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Frenchie zips up his bag quickly. “I can give her a call. She may say yes.” Butcher rolls his eyes as he stuffs his belongings into the small duffel. Once again their safe house wasn’t so safe anymore. “Yeah? You do whatever you want, Frenchie, but don’t expect me to be welcomed,” Butcher says in a snappy tone. And so Frenchie did. He called you up, surprised as the line picked up on the second ring. “Frenchie?” Your voice carried out the line. “I need a favor.” Of course, you agreed. “Butcher has to come with me,” Frenchie says biting his teeth together. You sigh, and after a moment you speak, “Have him meet me tonight.”
Butcher couldn’t remember the last time he’d been nervous to meet up with someone. He watches you on their bench, for a moment he’s planning what to say, but his mind goes blank when he makes eye contact, his eyes briefly widening.
“You came.” He simply states, almost surprised you hadn’t blown him off.
The rush of feeling came but so did the heartache. Billy Butcher broke your heart once. You won’t let him do it again. “I’m doing it for Frenchie. Not you.”
He nods, he couldn’t blame you. This wasn’t the first bridge he burned - and he was sure it wouldn’t be the last. He could tell you were holding back, he wasn’t blind.
“I understand.” He said, in response to your statement. “I’m aware I can be a difficult bastard.”
You scoff, no sign of a grin, “That’s one way to put it.”
“It’s the truth, you have to admit.” He replies, a smirk appearing on his lips.
He wanted to ask why you had agreed to help them; the question lingered on the tip of his tongue, but he didn’t dare ask it.
“I’ll text Frenchie the address. You can show up tonight. I’ll have someone let you in.”
He nods, hands still in his pockets, he doesn’t say anything for a moment, he can feel the air almost getting tense - it made him feel uncomfortable, he wasn’t used to that.
“Thank you.” He says, and he means it. Deep down he knows there are only a few people who even would’ve considered to help him.
The ache in your chest returns. “Don’t go thanking me yet. Just don’t be late.” You say and promptly exit to return home and prepare for their arrival.
~
The boys show up at the house. More like a mansion. The gate opens allowing them in. It was a big and ostentatious house, the kind that screams “more money than sense” kind of house. But Butcher had to admit, it was impressive.
Once Butcher, Hughie, and Frenchie are all inside, Butcher looks to Frenchie. “Who owns this lot?” Butcher asks, taking in the surroundings, not taking his eyes off the interior of the house, as he walks further in.
The walls are littered with large photos of yourself, several albums framed on the walls. Frenchie smirks, “she does.”
As they walk further into what Butcher assumed was the living room, he can see how well off you are. Things had definitely changed since you two last saw each other. His eyes stop on one of the photos and his eyebrows rise slightly.
"You can't be serious." He mutters, his eyes on one of the pictures.
He stands there, somewhat in disbelief, he couldn't help but feel impressed. He assumed Frenchie was pulling his leg, that had been joking when he had said it.
"Damn." He mutters, staring at the gold records on the wall. She had really done it. That snide joke from years ago. The silly threat. She actually wrote songs about him and they went fucking platinum.
Hughie reads the name over again on the records. “Holy shit. We’re in a fucking pop stars house.”
"Yeah, I noticed that, thanks." A sarcastic tone in his voice as he glances at Hughie, before turning his attention back to the awards. "Never would have pegged you on being a pop star fan."
You finally walk down the stairs to greet them. “Wow, you actually made it on time.”
Butcher’s eyes dart to you as you descend the stairs, the sound of your shoe heels echoing through the house. His eyes look you up and down, taking in the new look.
"Look at you. Who would've thought, huh?" He smirks, as the two of you stop at the bottom of the stairs. You look up at the various awards and posters. “Well, I did tell you I would.” He smirks at the response, leaning with one hand resting in his pocket.
"Never believed ya." He say, his eyes scanning across all the awards and photos for a moment. "You really did it, princess."
You nod with a bitter smile. “And all I had to do was write about some asshole.”
He can feel the passive aggressiveness in your voice. As the words leave their mouth, his smirks. "Guess that makes me lucky then, huh?" He replies.
Hughie stops, “wait, your songs are about him?” He asks in shock. You shake your head “Not all of them. Only the sad ones.”
Butcher raises an eyebrow at that, “so most of them?” The smirk was still in place, yet somehow he felt a pang of guilt deep down - one he refused to acknowledge.
You show them each to their rooms. Butcher is the last in line. He follows you, hands in his pockets, taking in the surroundings as best he can. The house was big, and he wondered how much money the place had cost.
Once he stands in front of the door to his room, he stops. For a moment he doesn’t know what to say or what to do. Part of him wanted to ask you a hundred questions, and another part of him wanted to just walk in and go to bed.
You didn’t give him time to pick. You promptly walked off. “Goodnight Billy. “ He let you walk away, watching you disappear to your own room. “Goodnight, princess.” He mutters as he goes into the room. He lay awake in the bed, He knew he had hurt you, but he hadn’t known just how badly.
In the morning the smell of freshly brewed coffee and breakfast hit the team's nose. They started to file down one by one. Seeing their host dancing and singing while making their food. Hughie was singing along being the super fan he is.
Butcher is the last to get up, and he takes a few minutes to himself to get ready before he finally makes his way down the stairs. He stops in the doorway to the kitchen, leaning against the frame as he watches the scene before him.
Hughie sat there, singing along with a huge grin on his face, while you danced and made breakfast. It’s a weird sight, and for a moment he wants to make a sarcastic comment, but he keeps his mouth shut. It’s still too early for that.
As Butcher stands there, he can feel Frenchie’s eyes on him. He knew Frenchie wasn’t as blind, but Frenchie stayed quiet, not saying a word, he just watched.
You laugh as Hughie dances to the music. You fill up everyone a plate of food. Even Butcher. You pass it to him quickly. Trying to avoid any contact. As he takes the plate, your fingers brush briefly against his. You tried not to react, or even notice it, but he couldn’t help the way your stomach tightened.
He couldn’t help but notice the way you quickly moved your hands away afterward. He sat at the table, Hughie’s cheerful voice filling the room, he was like a little kid meeting their favorite celebrity. It almost made him chuckle. Almost. Except he can’t help but notice the way you refuse to look at him.
“I’ve got a show Tuesday night. You can all come. Stay backstage. No one will notice you there.” You share the idea with them as they all eat.
There’s a momentary pause in the conversation, as you mention the show. Hughie immediately grins in excitement at the invitation, while Frenchie looks interested - although he keeps his poker face. Butcher doesn’t respond at first, he just keeps his eyes on his plate for a few seconds.
“You sure that’s a good idea, princess?” He inquires, in a sarcastic tone. You look at him from over the table, “By all means, if you want to miss out on a fun time that’s your loss. Might be good to take the stick out of your ass for a few hours.” You grumble as you stab your eggs.
His mouth tugged into a smirk, “Oh, I’ll be there, I ain’t missing an opportunity to see the spoiled pop star in action.” He replies, in a mocking tone.
Later in the evening when the boys were alone Hughie breaks open the subject. “How the hell do you know her?“
Butcher knew the question would come, but it didn’t stop him from feeling uncomfortable. He leans back against the sofa, staring up at the ceiling as he lets out a deep sigh, trying to come up with the right words to explain.
“We were friends.” He simply says, trying to keep his answer as vague as he could.
Frenchie scoffs at the words. “Friends? No, no, Friends don’t do what you two did, yes?” He looks over to Frenchie briefly.
“You know what I meant.” He mutters, shifting uncomfortably. “And it’s not like it’s all my fault.” He adds, knowing that wasn’t entirely true. He could’ve done a lot differently, but he’d been so damn stubborn.
Hughie nods, “There’s more than that!” He could tell he wasn’t going to drop it now they’d started, he had to give them some sort of explanation.
“Frenchie brought her in on a job years ago. We had… an on-and-off thing. Wasn’t serious, just casual, just having a bit of fun.” He tries to explain, his voice somewhat strained.
Hughie looks at Butcher with wide eyes. “Casual… That song is about you!”
He looked over to Hughie for several seconds, he knew exactly what song he meant. “Never heard of it.” He replies, his voice somewhat bitter and strained, he’d listen to the song one too many times since he’d found out. He wanted to be angry at you for writing it, but the more times he listened to it, the more he felt the lyrics were the truth.
“Holy shit!” Hughie laughs in revelation. Butcher rolls his eyes in response to Hughie’s loud outburst. “Jesus, calm down. It wasn’t a big deal.” He mutters.
Frenchie looks over to him with a knowing expression. “Not that big a deal, huh?”
You were more than friends, more than just a casual hook-up, but Butcher would never admit that. He shifts uncomfortably, trying to shake the thoughts running through his mind. He tries to play it off as if it were all just a good time, but he can’t convince himself, let alone the other two to sit beside him.
“Like I said, we was just friends.” He repeats, his voice lacking more and more confidence with each word.
Hughie and Frenchie share a look of doubt.
He looks over at them, seeing the looks they exchange between them. He could tell they both thought him to be talking bullshit.
He let out an irritated sigh, it made him feel even more frustrated with himself.
“You don’t believe me?” He asks, tone slightly strained.
Hughie shakes his head with a smirk “You don’t write a song like that over just some hook-up.”
The comment makes his expression shift, his jaw clenching and his eyes narrowing slightly. “People write songs about anything and everything these days.”
He knew it was a weak excuse, but the thought of admitting just how deep it had been sent him into an immediate defensive mode.
A knock comes at the door and you peek your head in. “Hi. Just wanted to see if anyone wanted to go to the studio with me. I’ve got to record.”
They all turn to look at the door, as you appear behind it. Butcher’s head tilts curiously at the appearance, his eyes falling over you as he feels a strange twisting feeling in his stomach.
He glances at the other two in silent question, before looking back over to them.
“How big is this studio?”
You shrug, “it’s not huge. It’s got a couch though.” Butcher lets out a low hum as if contemplating it for a moment before he finally stands.
“I’ll go.” He gives the others a look, as if silently challenging them to stop him.
You stop with wide eyes. “You?” You look at the other boys with curious eyes. He smirked, slightly amused by the surprised yet questioning tone you had.
“Yeah, me. That an issue, princess?”
You shake your head, “Nope.”
He grins, “Good.” He glances back to Hughie and Frenchie, who are watching the exchange intently.
“I’ll be back in a while.” He mutters to them before looking back to them. “Lead the way.”
As you enter the studio, Butcher follows along behind them and the atmosphere instantly switches. He notices the producer sitting at a desk facing a large window, and other workers moving around, setting up for the recording session.
He feels a little out of place, but he keeps his face emotionless, observing the people around him with a neutral yet intimidating expression.
“Hi, Mark.” You toss your bag on the couch and relax, waiting for the crew to finish
Butcher continues to stand near the door for a few moments, taking in the environment, before he finally moves to sit down on the sofa near you, legs almost brushing. He keeps his eyes locked on you, not able to bring himself to look away. “Who’s this?” Mark asks with a friendly smile.
He meets Mark’s gaze, his mouth curving into a small smile. “Billy Butcher.” He replies in a friendly yet cold tone. He could tell the man was a typical, smiley record business douche. But for your sake, he forced a polite demeanor. You wave your hand at him trying to dismiss the subject. “Just a friend.”
Mark’s smile turns more intrigued as his eyes move between the two of you. He can’t help but feel slightly annoyed by the look he’s giving.
“Just friend, hmm?” He mutters, a hint of skepticism in his tone.
You roll your eyes but don’t push it. Mark knew much about Billy. Knew he was the main inspiration for your career of sobbing songs
Butcher shifted on the couch, trying to act at ease as he settled into his seat, his eyes lingering on you for a few seconds before darting back around the room.
Mark smiles, looking somewhat amused as he nods his head in agreement. “Everything is set up. I’ll be out in the booth if you need me.” He replies, before disappearing through a door in the back of the studio.
You turn to Billy with a flat expression. “Don’t make any loud noises or touch anything.” He rolls his eyes in response to the instructions, a small smirk on his face.
“And what if I do?” He inquires, in a somewhat mocking tone. You roll your eyes as you stand. “You’re so infuriating.” He grins, enjoying how easy it was to get under your skin.
“What’s wrong sweetheart? Can’t handle me sitting here quietly?” He replies, leaning back against the couch leisurely. “I was hoping your friend Hughie would have come. He’d be much more fun than you.”
He scoffs at the comment, his face falling into a frown.
“Oh, what? Cause he’d behave and play nice, like a proper little puppy?” He retorts, in a somewhat bitter tone. “We both know you get bored easily.”
You move to the microphone and headset putting it on. Trying to block Billy out of your mind. He lets out a low, amused hum as you move over to the microphone, ignoring his antagonism. He leans back on the couch, crossing his arms and settling in to watch. As I sing Billy moves around the room. You send him a glare but he just shrugs innocently.
He stands near the back of the room, in the shadows as he listens to the lyrics, feeling his chest tighten as he recognizes the specific words. Had she remembered every single word he ever said to you?
He looks over at you, his gaze lingering on you, watching the emotions on your face and your hands gripping the microphone.
He continues to look over at you intently as you continue to sing. He’s completely transfixed by you, he can’t bring himself to look away, despite his mind wanting him to.
He felt his heart start to pound against his chest, the lyrics bringing up memories that he’d tried so hard to push to the back of his mind. He clenched his jaw, as he felt the emotion build up.
He felt angry at himself, for how deep the connection had been, and letting you in as much as he had.
You sing the last lines, eyes closed, completely taken. You look back to Mark. “Good?” Mark gives you an approving smile, clearly pleased with the recording.
“Good. Nice job kid.” He nods his head in approval, glancing from you to Billy, noticing the look on his face. “I think we should do that one at the show tomorrow.” Mark looks back over to you, before nodding his head in agreement.
“Yeah, it sounded nice. Fits the set well.” He replies, the corner of his mouth turning up in a slight smile, his gaze flickering over to Billy for a brief moment before turning back to you.
“Something on your mind, Butcher?” You smirk
His eyes flick back to you, and he finds himself unable to look away again. He swallows dryly, before forcing a snarky smirk in reply.
“Just thinking how much of a brat you are.” He replies, in a somewhat teasing tone. “A million-dollar brat.”
He scoffs at the response, a small huff of laughter escaping his mouth.
“A million-dollar brat that needs to learn some manners.” He counters, raising his eyebrow and staring at you with an impassive expression.
You shake at him, a fake sense of fear on your face. “Oh no, I’m so scared.”
He lets out a low laugh, noticing the feigned fear on your face. He moves closer to you, closing the distance between the two of you.
“Watch that mouth of yours, princess. Might come back to bite you in the ass.” He mutters, his tone becoming slightly more serious.
“I’d love to see you fucking try.”
He smirks, amused by the challenge. He takes another step closer, his face only a few inches away from yours.
“You really wanna test me?” He asks, in an almost mocking tone, daring you to continue baiting him.
“I don’t think you can handle it.”
He snorts, letting out a low laugh. He slowly reaches out, one hand moving to rest on your hip, as he moves even closer. He’s so close now, that he could just lean forward and reach your face with his.
He leans in, his breath hot against your ear as he speaks. “Sweetheart. I can handle a lot more than you realize.”
You look him up and down with a smirk, “Butcher, you don’t have what it takes to be with a girl like me.” He tilts his head slightly, looking down at you with an amused smirk on his face. He gently tightens his hold on your hip, his fingers gripping slightly.
“Oh, I don’t?” He replies, in a somewhat mocking tone. “And what makes you think I’d even want to be with a spoiled little princess like you?”
You walk your fingers up his toned chest. “That fucking look in your eyes.” You giggle “You miss me and you know it.” He lets out a low hum, his chest rising slowly with his sharp exhale as your fingers slide up his chest. He can feel his pulse quicken as he feels your cold touch against his skin.
He doesn’t respond to your statement, but his expression falters as you mention him missing you. He tries to keep his face neutral, but he knows that you can see the truth. He leans closer, now his face only a few millimeters from yours.
“I’d be crazy not to, princess.”
His words hit me. His eyes telling the truth. He did miss you. He watches intently as the words hit you, his eyes roaming over your face and reading your expression.
He tightens his hold on your hip, pulling you even closer until you’re practically pressed against him. He’s so close now, his eyes lingering on their face for a moment before slowly moving down to your lips.
“Billy.”
He feels a shiver run down his spine as he hears the sound of his name, his eyes still lingering on your lips.
His hand slowly moves up from your hip, his fingers moving gently up your body until he’s cupped your cheek in his hand. He can feel the heat from your skin, and he lets out a shaky exhale as his thoughts spiral.
“Um, hello? You two.” Mark laughs from the sound room. Butcher lets out a low huff, taking a second to process Mark's interruption. He reluctantly pulls his gaze away from you, tearing his eyes from your face and instead looking over to Mark.
“Hate to do it to you bud, but she’s got some more work to do,” Mark smirks at Billy. He glares slightly at Mark, a frustrated frown appearing on his face. He knows that this is the truth and that you still have more work to do.
Butcher gets a call from Hughie saying they found some hit on V being transferred. Billy reluctantly agreed to meet them at your house.
You look up, the tension still there. sharp as a knife. “you can take the car. I’ll catch a ride.” He hesitates for a moment, conflicted. He wants to stay with you, but he knows he has a job to do.
“Yeah… okay.” He replies, reluctantly. He doesn’t want to leave, but he knows that he has no choice if he wants to do his job.
Billy watches as Mark exits the studio with a notebook in hand, a look of irritation flickering across his face. He’s already getting tired of the guy, his smirk annoying him. He turns back to you, his expression unreadable. “I’ll see you later, yeah?” He mutters, his voice a little gruff.
You nod pushing a small smile. You had to pull your eyes away from him. You were fucked and you knew it. Billy was burrowing himself into your heart once more and you could not stop it.
He holds your gaze for a moment longer, his eyes lingering on your face. He wanted to say something, but he couldn’t find the words.
He holds back the urge to grab you and pull you close against him once more. Instead, he lets out a huff of air, before reluctantly turning and walking out of the studio.
~
You got home late. Tiredness wept from your bones. You begin to make tea, attempting to soothe your throat. As you’re making the tea, the sound of the front door opening interrupts the silence of the house, Billy enters.
He takes in the sight of you, standing in the kitchen. He doesn’t say anything, he just stands there silently watching you for a few moments, drinking in the sight of you.
“Hi,” you say surprised to see he’s still awake. He watches as you look back at him. He lets out a low hum in response, a small smile pulling at his lips. “Hey.” He mutters, his voice still low and gravelly from exhaustion.
You look to him, “Why are you up?” He shrugs his shoulders, moving a few steps closer to you as he replies. “Couldn’t sleep. Needed a smoke.” His eyes rake over your face and down your body, taking in the sight of you.
You want to ask him why. Ask him what he thinks. You have a hundred questions for him.
He studies you for a moment, noticing the look in your eyes. He can tell that you have something you want to say, but you’re holding back. He stays silent for a moment longer, before finally speaking up.
“Spit it out, princess.”
You turn away from him and return to the boiling water on the stove. “Nothing.” He lets out an amused huff, seeing right through your attempt to hide it. He moves closer, invading your personal space as he leans against the counter next to you.
“Bullshit.” He mutters, a smirk pulling at his lips.
He stares down at you, his eyes slowly moving over your face. He can see the emotions flicker in your eyes, while his own expression remains guarded and emotionless. He has years of practice, but you’ve always been an open book for him to read.
He reaches out a hand, gently grabbing your chin and tilting your head up to look up at him. “I can always tell when you’re lying to me, princess.”
You swat his hand away. “Don’t.”
He lets out a low chuckle, amused by your stubborn behavior. He’s not surprised by your reaction.
“Why not?” He teases, his smirk growing wider. He continues to press his luck, moving even closer and invading your personal space even more. You feel breathless as he corners you. His arms sealing around your waist with ease. You barely speak, gaze cloudy and your head dizzy. “Don’t…”
He tightens his hold on your waist, pulling you closer until your body is pressed against his. He leans in, his face inches from yours.
“Why?” He mutters again, his tone slightly taunting. He can see the way your breath has quickened, the way your body is reacting to his touch.
You couldn’t help it or stop it if you tried. The cord finally snapped. The pull of him was too strong. You press up against him. Pressing your lips to his in a rushed heated kiss. He’s surprised by your sudden move, but he doesn’t resist. Butcher presses his body against yours, returning the kiss with just as much intensity.
His hands move up from your waist, one hand gently wrapping around the back of your neck, while the other one sinks into your hair, gripping it and tilting your head to deepen the kiss.
No words were exchanged. Just deep unsettled passion going between the two. Tongues clashing, teeth nipping. Your body was growing hot. He moves his mouth over to your neck, his lips and teeth moving over your sensitive skin. He’s letting out small, low grunts and growls with each touch, clearly just as affected.
His hands continue running over your body, one hand moving back down to your hip and gripping it tightly.
Reality came crashing down. You couldn’t allow yourself to get hurt by him again. You knew he wouldn’t stay. He wouldn’t call. Wordlessly you rip yourself from him. You touch your lips in shock and stare at him. You turn around and race up to your room forgetting the once-boiling water
He’s shocked and confused by the suddenness of your actions. One moment he’s got you close to him, the next you’ve torn yourself out of his grip and raced out of the kitchen.
He takes a second to process what happened, his mind and body still reeling from the passion. He’s torn between going after you and letting you go, but before he can make a decision, you’ve already disappeared up the stairs.
The morning after the house was quiet aside from The Boys taking up her living room. She hadn’t left her room yet this morning.
Billy has been pacing around the living room most of the morning, restless and irritable. He’s already on his third cigarette, smoking quickly as a way to pass the time.
His mind is occupied by thoughts of the previous night, and he can’t shake the memory of how close you were and how abruptly you tore yourself away. He keeps glancing at the stairs, his thoughts racing.
Frenchie furrows his brows at Butcher’s pacing. “Something wrong?” He huffs, still pacing as he takes a long drag from his cigarette. He’s clearly on edge, the tension rolling off him in waves.
“Nah.“ He mutters, his words sharp. He doesn’t want to talk about what’s bothering him. Especially not with the rest of the Boys around listening.
You sit in your room staring at yourself in the mirror. “You went back on everything you fucking build.” You point at yourself in the mirror. You get dressed for a run and walk down the stairs.
He’s still pacing, taking another long drag from his cigarette when he hears you descend the stairs. He looks up, watching as you walk down towards them.
He stops his pacing, turning to face you as his eyes roam over your figure. He tries to ignore the pang of desire that flares inside of him, but he can’t help it. His mind still lingering on last night.
Without a word, you make your way to the door. “Going for a run,” you say and dash outside.
He grits his teeth in frustration as you slam the door behind you. He knows that you’re avoiding him, and it’s pissing him off.
He glances over at the rest of the two, who are watching the exchange with curious glances. He doesn’t care, he just scowls and storms over to the window by the door, peering out of it to watch as you walk away.
Frenchie pipes up, “What’s wrong with her?” Butcher doesn’t take his eyes off you as he replies to Frenchie’s question.
“Rough night, I guess.” He mutters, his tone gruff. His eyes still fixed on your form as you get further and further away, a frown tugging at his lips.
You avoided Butcher when Ieft and you did the same when you came home. The evening grows and you appear again, only because you have to. “Alright, I’ve got to go to the venue and get ready. Meet the security guard by the back door. You’ve already been cleared to come inside.” Hughie and Frenchie look excited while Butcher looks like he couldn’t care less.
He ignores the excited looks on Hughie and Frenchie’s faces, rolling his eyes at their eagerness. The thought of watching you perform is the only thing keeping him from completely refusing.
Butcher didn’t see you next until you were all dressed to the 9s. A short dress and glamorous makeup on your face. “Hey!” You say excitedly as the boys enter backstage. Hughie could explode with excitement
Butcher looks up as you call out, his eyes immediately falling to your appearance. His breath hitches in his throat as he takes in the sight of you. The short dress clings to your curves in all the right ways, while the glamorous makeup brings out your features.
He feels a stir of desire low in his stomach, his heart rate quickening as he tries to keep his expression neutral. But he can’t help the way his eyes linger on your figure for a few moments longer than necessary.
“You look… good.” He manages to mutter, his voice slightly gruff.
You try to ignore his comment, but can’t help the light blush from appearing on your cheeks. “Uh, thanks.”
The show starts. Butcher, Frenchie, and Hughie stand backstage, with a clear view. You sing as the crowd screams. Hughie dances to the music, Frenchie smiles at his friend, and Butcher was having to watch the woman he wanted so badly parade on stage, singing about how shitty of a person he was.
A mix of desire and pain bubbled inside of him. You look absolutely ravishing, and it’s torturous to just watch you from the sidelines.
You stand in the middle of the stage, emotions at a high. “So, this next one goes out to my Ex.” The crowd goes wild. You turn to look at Butcher with a smile. “Because I know your fucking watching, bitch.”
He meets your gaze as you turn to look at him, a smirk playing at the edges of his lips. His eyes roam over your figure as you speak to the crowd, his mind reeling with thoughts. A part of him is amused by your bold display, but another part wants to rip you off the stage and claim you then and there.
“My friends call me a loser
'Cause I'm still hanging around
I've heard so many rumors
That I'm just a girl that you bang on your couch
I thought you thought of me better
Someone you couldn't lose
You said We're not together
So now when we kiss, I have anger issues”
He listens intently as you sing the lyrics, his heart clenching in his chest at the truth behind them. The reminder of your failed relationship hits him like a ton of bricks, a pang of guilt mixing with the pain he feels.
He watches as you perform, his eyes locked on you, feeling torn between wanting to apologize and wanting to hold you tightly.
“You said, Baby, no attachment
But we're
Knee deep in the passenger seat, and you're eating me out
Is it casual now?
Two weeks and your mom invites me to her house on Long Beach
Is it casual now?
I know what you tell your friends
It's casual if it's casual now
Then, baby, get me off again
If it's casual, it's casual now”
His breath hitches in his throat as you sing the lyrics, the words hitting him hard. It’s a painful reminder of the way he treated you, the way he couldn’t commit to anything more than casual.
He can feel the guilt and shame welling up inside of him, knowing that he didn’t treat you the way you deserved. He watches your performance, his expression a mix of pain and desire.
He watches as you exit the stage, making your way backstage to them. His heart is hammering in his chest, his palms sweaty. He knows that he needs to talk to you, to try and make things right.
Frenchie and Hughie are still chatting excitedly about the show, but he barely registers anything they’re saying. He only has eyes for you as you approach.
“I have to get out of these shoes.” You laugh. He lets out a gruff chuckle at your comment, his gaze still fixed on you intently. He can’t deny that he likes the sight of you in those sexy heels, but he knows you’re probably uncomfortable.
“Don’t blame you.” He mutters, his eyes roaming over your figure again.
“I’ll be back. I’m going to change.” You said and made your way into the dressing room.
Butcher takes a few seconds, trying to control the intense desire to go into the dressing room after you. But in the end, his need to see you again wins out. He glances towards Hughie and Frenchie, who are distracted talking about the show, before quietly following you to the dressing room.
The door opens and you jump in surprise. You hold up a blanket, shielding yourself. Only clad in a bra and panties. “What are you doing?”
He stops in the doorway, his eyes widening as he takes in your almost naked form. He feels a rush of desire as he scans your body, his mind instantly flooded with thoughts of pulling you into his arms and claiming you right there.
At the sight of your surprised expression, he clears his throat, trying to compose himself. “Came to see you.” He mutters, taking a step closer to you.
“Um, well can it wait until I have fucking clothes on?” He glances over your form once more, lust clouding his mind. He can’t help but stare at your body, his eyes roaming over your frame.
“Not sure I can wait that long.” He mutters, taking another step towards you, his voice low and gruff.
Butcher crosses over to you. He pulls you closer, his hand gripping your waist with a firm, almost possessive, hold. He kisses you hungrily, his lips devouring yours with a mixture of desire and desperation.
He pushes you against the wall, trapping you between his body and the hard surface. He lets out a low growl against your lips, his tongue seeking access to your mouth.
He deepens the kiss, his tongue exploring your mouth hungrily. His body is pressed against yours, holding you tightly against the wall, his hands roaming over your body as if memorizing every curve.
He breaks the kiss, pulling back just enough to look into your eyes. He’s panting, his chest heaving as he gazes down at you, his expression filled with a mix of desire and something more… something vulnerable.
His eyes are intense and filled with a mixture of desire and guilt. He can’t bring himself to say the words, but the silent apology is there in his gaze.
His body is still pressed against yours, and he runs a hand down your side in a gentle caress. He looks like he wants to say something, but the words seem to get stuck in his throat. You mimic his words, “spit it out.”
A huff of annoyance leaves his lips at your use of his own words against him. He grumbles for a moment, his grip on your waist tightening slightly.
He takes a deep breath, steeling himself. Then he looks into your eyes, his expression a mix of vulnerability and determination.
“I’m sorry.” He mutters, his voice gravelly. “For how I treated you… for not treating you the way you deserved.” You place your hands on his cheeks, a smile on your face. “Just fucking kiss me.”
He grabs you once again, crushing his lips against yours hungrily. His hand grips the back of your neck, angling your head so he can deepen the kiss even further.
The following day, both Butcher and you are sitting on your couch. You’re leaning against him as he fiddles with your fingertips. The need to touch you is too great to just be near.
Hughie and Frenchie walk in and are taken aback by the two. Frenchie smirks, “So what is this now, huh?” You and Butcher look at each other. Butcher offers a smirk, “Well one thing it ain’t, is fucking casual.”
