What It Cost-Noah Sebastian[AU]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
*gif created by me. feel free to use, simply give credit*
Pairings: Noah Sebastian x Reader
Warnings: smut, violence(talks of death/beating/forced sex), language, fluff, angst.
Summary: The darkness was all Reader ever knew and now that it was following her, closing in to devour her, she needed to chance to breathe. With one destination in mind, she set out only to stop when she noticed an attractive stranger on the side of the road; his own darkness making her give him a ride to where he needed to go. Both of them were desperate for something else but neither of them could change and it nearly cost them everything.
Authors Note: Thank you everyone for being so patient with me while I worked on this the last five days. It originally wasn't supposed to be this long but fuck it, we ball.

I stifled yet another yawn behind my fist and shook out the cobwebs, doing my best to stay awake. The nighttime air as it busted through the crack in my car window did little to keep the slumber from pulling me under, but I did whatever I could do. The music was blasting, the bass shaking all parts of my car and I had just thrown another empty can of Dr. Pepper into the plastic bag in the front seat I’d been using as garbage. I’d been driving for the last three hours, exhaustion desperately trying to weigh me down but I refused to let it win. I had somewhere I needed to be at a certain time otherwise all of this, everything I sacrificed would have been for nothing.
Blinking my eyes, I did my best to see through the thick fog that seemed to have crept along the long stretch of the back roads of California, making it nearly impossible to see more than a few feet in front of me. Through the music that played in my speaker came a text tone followed by another and another.
“The fuck,” I grumbled while reaching for my phone.
Texting and driving. Nice, dumbass. Try not to kill yourself.
Ignoring the chastising voice in my head, I flicked my gaze down to the screen on my phone and quickly read the messages.
Matt: Package is shipped.
Matt: We will meet at the rendezvous point in four days.
Matt: Be safe kid. Love you.
Through the hell of the last 34 hours, I let a smile creep on my lips at the words from my brother. He was always there for me, no matter what I had done growing up and that didn’t stop now when both of us were adults.
“I’m your big brother. It’s my job to protect you, Y/N.”
His words from when I called him the other night in tears were what kept me going; and kept my mind from thinking back to that night. I needed to keep moving forward, not dwindle in fear of the repercussions.
“Oh shit!”
My phone clattered to the floor of my car, and the sound of my brakes screeching in the night air when I saw the faint form of something through the thick fog. I stopped mere inches in front of it, then once my erratic heart began to slow, I leaned closer to my windshield, barely making out the man that stood in front of my car.
His dark hair covered his eyes, cascading down past his shoulders and the white tank top he wore stood out in the vast darkness when he spread his arms across the warm metal of my car, hands pressing against it. His broad chest rose and fell with each deep breath and I couldn’t help but notice that he spent a lot of time in the gym. The muscles in his arms rippled as he continued to keep his arms outstretched on my car. The headlights cast him in a bright glow thanks to the fog around him and I nearly choked on my breath when he made a down motion with his finger.
Roll down the window.
I shook my head, fear settling low in my stomach. Why was he out here in the middle of the night? Strolling around on the dark road alone? This was a receipt for disaster if I obliged his request. The smart thing to do would be to drive away from him, leaving him in the dust, so why the fuck was I rolling down the window?
“You almost hit me,” he adjusted the bag on his shoulder.
My stomach flipped at his deep voice. “I-I’m sorry. I didn’t see you.”
The man didn’t move, only continued to stare into my soul from outside the windshield.
“Can you please move? I need to keep driving,” I asked after a beat of silence.
“Where are you headed?” He asked.
I scoffed. “Why the fuck would I tell you? You could be some serial killer.”
Even in the dark, I saw the faintest smile pull at his lips.
“I need a ride,” he shrugged, finally pushing himself away from my car to run a hand through his long hair.
“Call a taxi,” I said.
Suddenly, the man began walking around my car, closer to my side and when he reached the open window, I slunk farther down in my seat. I could see him more clearly now; his arms, chest, and neck were all covered in tattoos. Fuck, even his fingers had tattoos as they gripped the door.
“Why would I do that when I have a perfectly good ride right here?” The man leaned over, his face now inches from mine as he peered into the open window.
I swallowed thickly when I breathed in his scent; woodsy with a hint of bergamot.
“You’re insane if you think I’m going to give you a ride anywhere,” I chuckled, mostly to myself. “I don’t even know your name.”
“Noah.”
I blinked. “What?”
The man bent at the knees outside my door so he was at eye level with me.
“My name is Noah. What’s yours?” He asked with a smile in his eyes.
“If you think I’m going to tell you my name, you’re fucking insane,” I shook my head.
“You’re not wrong,” Noah licked his lips. “Although, I like to think of myself as more charming than anything.”
My eyes now bulged out of my head. “You’re really not helping your case in getting a ride from me.”
“What if I say please?” He jutted out his bottom lip.
With his pout and large almond eyes, I felt my heart soften the teeniest of bits. Surely if he was a murderer, he would have killed me already.
Right?
Capturing my bottom lip between my teeth, I let out a long breath. “Where do you need to go?”
“Calgary.”
“Canada?!” I screeched.
“Is that going to be an issue?” Noah wondered, eyes flickering over his shoulder at every unknown sound.
“Yeah considering we’re in California and Canada isn’t exactly where I was headed,” I informed.
He raised a brow. “You still never told me where that is exactly.”
Even though he was a very attractive stranger who didn’t seem to be a serial killer, I still wasn’t going to tell him that I was headed to Wisconsin to meet my brother then both of us would continue the drive to Vermont. Calgary wasn’t exactly on the way.
“Look, if it’ll help sway you. I’ll pay for gas and food,” Noah’s voice brought me from my thoughts just in time to see him pull out a thick stack of cash from his black sweats.
If he had this much money, clearly he could find another way to Calgary; something I made known out loud.
“I could but I run the risk of being recognized. With you, I’d have a front-row seat to your beauty. Better company.” Noah admitted, still kneeling in front of my car door.
There was an underlying tone in his voice that should have scared me and put me on high alert, however, it was his words that held my attention.
“My beauty?” I repeated with a slight blush on my cheeks.
Focus, you idiot! You’re letting this stranger sweet-talk you into giving him a ride into a different country!
“I’m not trying to sweet talk you into giving me a ride, even though I really do need one. I want to make sure you’re comfortable with driving me. I know Canada isn’t exactly close-.”
“Or anywhere near where I'm going!” I interrupted Noah, voice still high an octave.
He nodded while holding up the thick stack of cash. “Exactly why I’m offering to pay you. There’s about fifteen hundred here and you can have all of it if you get me to the Canadian border in one piece.”
My eyes darted from Noah to the money in his hand. It was a very tempting offer only because I was starting over and money was desperately needed. I was already ahead of schedule for meeting Matt, four days we were set to meet and it wouldn’t take that long to drive to Wisconsin. So a detour wouldn’t be the worst thing, especially if the end game was money.
He could kill you!
“Okay fine,” I gave in with a drop of my shoulders. “Get in.”
Tapping the hood of my car, Noah rose to his feet and adjusted something in the back of his sweatpants. The only glimpse I got of it was something metal with a blank handle as he ran behind the car, slipping into the front seat. Now his scent engulfed the entire small space along with his long limbs; his legs had no room so Noah adjusted the seat for him to spread them out. He placed the bag in his lap and I tilted my head when I noticed the design on it; a reaper skeleton with a scythe.
It looked eerily familiar but I couldn’t decipher where I’d seen it before.
My car was still idling in the middle of the road as I ran my palms up and down the steering wheel, unsure what to do next. My heart was pounding so loudly, that I thought Noah could hear it. I couldn’t explain it but having him this close to me affected me in a way that threw all common sense out of the window.
Fuck, this was such a bad idea. I should be hours away by now, far away from what I left behind. But instead, I’m still in California with a stranger in my car that I just agreed to drive to fucking Canada.
At least he’s attractive. You can claw at the tattoo on his neck when he’s murdering you.
I cleared my throat while sitting taller in my seat. “Do you have an address?”
“Just get me to the border,” Noah answered while tying his long locks into a low bun, showcasing the sharpness of his cheekbones.
“Oh. Kay,” I muttered while searching up the border for Canada; a twenty-one-hour drive.
Lovely.
Finally putting the car in drive, I let it glide along the dark roads with the silent tension debilitating. Every so often, I peered out of the corner of my eye to see that Noah had yet to relax in his seat. He sat straight up while tapping his tattooed fingers against his thighs. It seemed like he was on edge with something and whenever we did pass a car, his eyes watched it with sharpness.
However, when a cop car sped past with its lights and sirens in the opposite lane, Noah slinked down in his seat, which was odd. The cop drove past so fast, I didn’t have time even to pull over so it wasn't like the officer could even see in my car. Before he could sit up again, another two cop cars sped past even faster than the first one and I nearly missed the way he cursed under his breath because of the music playing on the radio.
“They must be heading to the prison,” I said, eyes watching the lights disappear in the rearview mirror.
The state prison was about ten miles back.
Noah didn’t say anything, only shivering while running a hand over his bare arms due to his tank top.
“Are you cold?” I asked.
“A bit.”
I adjusted the heat but then nodded to the back seat. “There’s a sweater in the back seat.”
He was quick to reach behind us and grab the sweater, slipping it over his large form. It was Matt’s sweater from one of his favorite movies.
“Hereditary?” Noah asked while pulling at the sweater.
I nodded while keeping my eyes on the road. “It’s a movie. Have you seen it?”
“I haven't had much time for movies this past year,” he answered with a low voice.
The GPS indicated I needed to take a left turn at the upcoming red light so when I eased to a stop, I glanced over to him. In the low light emanating from the street lights in the car, he looked almost eternal, hiding in the shadows. His hair was still pulled back but the hood was covering his face. The darkness was emanating off of him with such a force that it was practically pulling me in, needing to taste it; melding it with my own.
“It’s pretty good. A bit of a mind fuck,” I said as the light turned green.
Noah hummed. “I’ll add it to the list.”
Silence fell between us again but didn’t last as long as before. Noah turned his body toward me, eyes burning on the side of my face.
“You’re staring,” I said.
“I like what I see, can you blame me?”
The sureness in his voice made my heart flutter and my skin blaze with heat. Instead of saying anything in response, I gripped the steering wheel tighter and adjusted my position in my seat. I’d been driving a total of five hours now which was typically my limit and noticing it was almost two in the morning, I debated on bringing up to Noah if he was fine with stopping at a motel for the night.
Oh, so now you want to share a room with this guy? What if there was only one bed?
I shook my head at my inner thoughts. I wouldn’t share a room with him. We’d get our own rooms.
“You know,” Noah’s deep voice pulled me from my thoughts yet again. “We have another twenty hours. That’s a long time to go without knowing your name.”
He was leaning his back against the door, arms crossed over his chest.
I snorted. “Just because you told me yours doesn't mean I’m going to tell you mine.”
“How am I supposed to thank you once this is all over?” He teased me.
“By leaving the money in the front seat,” I retorted back.
Noah clicked his tongue on his teeth and chuckled; the sound making something twitch inside of me.
“You’ve got some sass, angel. I like it.”
My eyes snapped to him for the briefest of moments. “Angel?”
“You won’t tell me your name. I have to call you something,” Noah said as if it wasn’t that big of a deal he gave me a nickname.
“What if I don’t like it?” I said, still driving.
He leaned closer towards me and I felt his warm breath fan over my ear, dancing down the side of my exposed neck.
“Too bad. It stays, angel,” he murmured.
The smile on his face told me he caught on the way my breath caught in my throat and how fast I licked my lips with his proximity.
When I pulled up to a stop sign, I let the car idle while I turned to face him, nearly choking on my spit when I realized how close we were. His plump lips peeked out from the darkness of his hood and I could faintly see facial hair line his upper lip and pepper his jawline. A few long strands of hair fell onto his face when he tilted his head down at me, those almond eyes searching every inch of my face.
Kiss him.
I blinked at the sudden thought, nearly taken aback at how forward it was. I’d never wanted to kiss someone so bad, especially a stranger. But there was something different about Noah although I couldn’t tell quite yet if it was a good or bad thing.
“Do you have a boyfriend?”
“Wh-what? Why?” I stuttered, flashes of what happened a few days ago creeping back into my mind.
A tattooed finger reached up to twirl a strand of my hair around it.
“I don’t want to kiss someone that’s unavailable,” he said.
Suddenly a loud horn from behind caused me to jump in my seat, doing what I could to scramble away from Noah in the confined space and start driving again. He continued to wear that smug smile as he leaned back into the leather seat. While I kept my eyes straight ahead on the road, Noah kept his on me, and my heart hadn’t stopped pounding in my chest.
How could I let this stranger almost kiss me?
The last thing I needed right now was another relationship, especially because of what happened with my last one. Hadn’t I learned anything from what happened? I was on the run because of what happened.
Crimson.
All over the living room spread into the hallway into the bathroom where it splattered over the wall; all where it started.
“What’s on your mind, angel?”
With a sharp breath, I snapped my eyes over to Noah for a curt moment to see that he let out his long hair from the bun and it fell around his face, still clouding him in mystery. But the darkness seemed to work for him, making those eyes shine brighter as they were filled with mischief.
“Nothing,” I muttered before paying attention to the road again.
“It didn’t seem like nothing.  You went somewhere just now,” Noah said.
I scoffed, gripping the wheel tighter. “I didn’t realize I was easy enough to read.”
“I’m a very perceptive person. I picked up on some of your cues the second I sat in your car,” he shrugged one shoulder, very nonchalantly.
“Oh really?” I raised a brow. “Please, do tell.”
Noah sat quietly for a moment as he studied me one final time and I felt my entire essence flare up the longer he silently stared at me. I shifted in my seat to try and curb the itch that seemed to ache between my legs; our almost kiss replaying in my mind like a loop. His lips were plump and I couldn’t help but wonder what they tasted like. Even in the darkness of my car, I could see the freckles that peppered his nose and the faint scar just underneath his right eye.
Maybe from a piercing? A fight?
“When you’re in your head, you do this thing where you bite your lip; the left corner. Like you’re doing right now,” Noah smiled.
Quickly, I let go of my bottom lip but said nothing as I continued to drive.
“You also rub your hands on your things,” he continued in my silence.
“I do not!” I fought but then realized he was right when I noticed my free hand rubbing up and down my thigh. “Congratulations, you can read me like a book. Do you want a fucking medal or something?”
Noah chuckled low, the noise rumbling in his chest, and stretched an arm behind me to rest against my headrest. My heart stuttered in my chest, offbeat and unbalanced when I felt fingers play with the ends of my hair behind my neck.
“You’ve got such a sassy tongue, angel. Do I need to keep it busy with something else?”
My foot nearly slipped off the gas pedal at his question but I did my best to compose myself.
“You’re not my type,” I responded flatly.
Liar.
Noah was exactly my type, down to the long hair and tattoos.
“See, I think you’re lying to yourself,” Noah said, still running his fingers across the exposed skin of my neck. “If you weren’t even the slightest attracted to me, you wouldn’t have let me get in your car.”
My voice faltered. “Y-your money. I need it.”
“Why’s that?” His warm breath fanned over the crook of my neck while his other hand grazed over my thigh.
I audibly gulped. “None of your business.”
Now the grip behind my neck tightened and the hand on my thigh brushed dangerously close to my pussy. I could feel his warm touch through the thin material of my sweatpants, igniting a fire within me.
“Do you want to know what I think you need?” Noah questioned.
When I didn’t say anything, he took it as a silent cue for him to continue. “I think you could use a good fuck. Something to loosen up this tension. I bet your panties are soaked because of me and I haven’t even done anything to you yet.”
“They are not!” I seethed through clenched teeth.
Liar.
“When was the last time someone touched you, angel? Made you scream for them?” Noah wondered.
“That’s none of your buis-Shit,” I cursed when his finger brushed along my folds, over my leggings.
“The way you moan makes my cock throb. Fuck, it’s been too long,” he grazed his teeth along the shell of my ear.
Suddenly, a loud ringing broke through the lust-filled car and shattered whatever fell between Noah and me. I realized though that it wasn’t my phone ringing but his when he pulled away from me to rummage through his bag.
“Yeah?” He answered curtly.
I let my pulse rate calm while trying to squeeze away the arousal between my legs. Noah’s touch awoke something in me that I had buried away years ago; the dark side of me. For the last five years, I had to pretend to be perfect in all aspects of my life; looks, personality, and relationships. The perfect trophy wife.
After years of mental and physical abuse, a few nights ago I finally snapped. He never saw it coming.
“Eighteen hours,” Noah said into his phone. “I found a ride.”
I gulped again when I felt his eyes on me. “I find myself asking that question as well.”
The street lights that glowed along the roads began to fade away the farther we drove away from the city and the amount of stop lights became less and less. We passed the state sign for Nevada a few hours ago and with the GPS taking me through the back roads unseen, we didn’t get to see the city strip of Las Vegas.
How tragic.
“Reassure Joakim and Nicholas I’ll be there,” Noah sighed while running a hand over his jaw.
Doing my best to tune out the rest of his phone conversation, I reached for another soda and popped it open to take a long drink from it. My body was practically screaming for rest, even if it was for a few minutes so my eyes could close. Once Noah finished his phone call, he tossed the phone back into his bag before letting out a long sigh and easing into the seat. I didn’t bother asking who he was on the phone with because frankly, I couldn't care less. The sooner I dropped Noah off at the border, the faster I could get back to my own life and figure out my future. I didn’t need to let him crawl completely under my skin because I knew what the ramifications would be if I let that happen.
A long silence filled the car and after a while, I heard Noah’s soft breathing echoing in the car meaning he had fallen asleep.
Lucky asshole.
For the next two hours, I drove with the eerily calm breathing of Noah, every so often peaking over at him. From the second I nearly hit him with my car, he seemed to be on edge and constantly looking over his shoulder with any soft breeze. Now it was like he finally let himself relax because he thought he was safe enough not to be on edge.
My body jerked awake, the car nearly swerving into the opposite lane and I breathed a breath of relief when I realized we were still the only car on the entire stretch of road. It had been like this for the last few hours and I was beginning to wonder if the apocalypse happened without us knowing and we were the only two survivors.
"You're not falling asleep on me, are you?"
Noah’s gruff voice made my shoulder go rigid when I realized he woke up and I gripped the steering wheel harder, knuckles going white from my agitation. If he'd known I'd already been driving for three hours before I picked him up, he might have understood why I was so tired.
"You could drive," I grumbled under my breath.
He tsked while leaning over in his seat towards me, his long tattooed fingers reaching for my thigh again. I sucked in a breath when I felt the heat radiating off of him engulf me.
"Or I could sit here and find a way to keep you awake," Noah muttered, leaning into me.
My heart beat wildly in my chest and I nearly let my eyes flutter shut when his hand reached for the waistband of my leggings. Suddenly, I wasn't tired anymore. Instead, I was very aroused.
"Do you want that?" He asked, voice gone with lust.
I swallowed thickly, doing my best so my voice wouldn't come out shaky. I was ready to throw away that final broken piece of me, the one I had to create so I could ultimately be free. Be who I used to be. Some might think I was crazy to allow myself to let this stranger finger me while I drove but I didn’t care. It’d been so long since I had a release that wasn’t brought on by my own hand and I craved it.
"Please,” I breathed.
Noah’s bright grin shone in the darkness of the car when his hand slipped into my leggings and underwear, finger gliding over my slick folds. His groans sent a shock straight to my pussy.
"You can lie all you want, angel. But you're fucking soaked for me. A stranger. Someone you picked up on the side of the road a few hours ago," Noah’s teeth grazed over my ear lobe.
I jerked the wheel, the car swerving yet again, and it made him pull his finger away from my clit to which I whined in protest.
"Keep your eyes on the road. If you don't crash, I'll let you cum. Deal?"
When I nodded, he pressed a tender kiss to the crook of my neck before slipping a finger inside of me. "Good girl."
“Fuck,’ I moaned as his thick finger began to pump in and out of me, slowly at first as if he was testing the waters; figuring out what I liked.
I shifted in the seat, still trying to keep my attention on the road ahead of me. Now that there weren't any street lights, it was a lot harder to see more than a few feet in front of me so I had to turn on my brights.
“Shit,” I whimpered when Noah’s thumb pressed against my clit.
“Oh, you like that, angel?” He asked, nipping at my earlobe.
With his thumb on my clit and finger now working fast inside of me, I was a blubbering mess, words spilling over my tongue. That familiar ache that soon turned to pleasure began building low in my gut and I gripped the steering wheel harder now, doing my best to keep the car straight.
“You’re swerving,” Noah breathed against the shell of my ear before pressing a kiss there.
I shivered. “I can’t help it. You’re-.”
“I’m what?” He teased, now working on leaving a mark on my neck.
Smug bastard.
“It’s so good,” I moaned while exposing more of my neck to him.
Now his teeth began nipping at the sensitive skin while his thumb worked fast circles on my clit and I clenched over his finger when he added a second. I felt so full and nearing my climax, the white haze creeping into the edge of my vision. Sheer ecstasy was filling my veins as I began convulsing in my seat, Noah edging me on with vulgar words.
“Such a whore for my fingers. If you act like this, I can’t imagine how you’d look coming apart on my cock.”
The noise that erupted from my throat was downright disgusting but it seemed to urge Noah on because now his pace on my clit was messy.
“Do you want my cock, angel? Have it split you open?”
He sunk his teeth into the flesh of my throat and I arched off the seat, all while still keeping the car straight.
“Noah,” I begged. “I’m gonna-.”
“Fuck, my cock is so hard angel. Be a good girl and cum for me, let me see you fall apart.”
With an earth-bending scream, I spasmed all over Noah’s fingers as he worked me through my orgasm. He praised his pleasure in my ear and it made me keen with satisfaction. My eyes darkened as I watched him pull out from me and then lick his two fingers eagerly; like a man starved.
“You taste so good, angel,” he hummed in approval.
“I think it’s safe to say, I’m wide awake now,” I said while my chest rose and fell with each deep breath as I did my best to come down.
I drove for less than a mile before Noah shifted in his seat, adjusting his sweats.
“Pull over,” he ordered with a grunt.
My eyes snapped over to him. “What?”
“Pull over,” he repeated, this time more gently than before.
Doing as he asked, I pulled the car over to the side of the road before putting it in park. I brushed away the stray hairs from my face and then turned towards Noah, who was staring down at his lap; at the wet spot.
“Oh,” was all I said with red cheeks when I realized what I was looking at.
Noah chuckled while running his hands over his thighs. “I told you, it’s been a while for me.”
I glanced in my backseat, although I knew it was futile. The only extra clothes I had were for me, none to fit his tall stature.
“According to the GPS, there’s a truck stop a few miles ahead, with showers,” I couldn’t help but giggle.
He ran a hand over his chin to hide his smile. “Hilarious.”
For the next ten minutes, we drove in silence beside the soft tune of the radio, and I allowed my mind to wander to what happened moments before. My body was still buzzing from the high of my release and I desperately needed to feel like that again.
Noah’s muttering about his hair made me give him a sideway glance as I took a right turn. “Everything alright?”
He was staring at his phone with a stone face making it impossible to read him.
“Fine.”
His answer was curt and I tried not to let it bother me while pulling into the almost empty parking lot of the truck stop. Besides my car, there were three others and about six large semis parked on the other end of the lot.
“Did you want anything?” Noah asked while gathering his things and slipping over his hood.
I raised a brow at how he almost went into hiding but said nothing of it.
“I’m fine. I’m going to fill up and then use the bathroom. Take your time cleaning up,” I teased before slipping out of the car.
Noah waved over his shoulder as he made his way inside the shop.
Almost twenty minutes later, I had filled up the car with gas and gone to the bathroom to freshen up. The cool night air felt great against my skin as I took my time walking back to the car to stretch my legs. I changed into a pair of comfier shorts and an oversized hoodie, wanting to be a bit more comfortable for this next leg of the drive.
When I reached the car, my feet skidded to a halt seeing Noah sitting against the hood of it, bags full of snacks at his feet. However, my attention was on something else. He was now wearing a pair of black mesh shorts and a shirt with some sort of anime character on it. I expected to see the long locks of his dark hair pulled back or falling over his shoulders. Instead, his hair stopped before it reached his ears.
He cut his hair.
I blinked, unable to speak.
Fuck, he looked so good.
“You’re staring,” Noah smirked.
“Uh,” I motioned to his head. “You cut your hair.”
He fixed the hair across his forehead so it could fall to the side giving himself bangs.
“Yeah, I was tired of the length. I needed to see the back of my neck again,” he said while rubbing his neck.
I still haven't moved, standing in the middle of the parking lot, and it wasn’t until Noah picked up the bags full of snacks.
“I know you said you didn’t want anything but I still got you some snacks.”
My heart fluttered as a smile pulled at my lips. “You didn’t have to do that. Thank you.”
“Come on,” he motioned to the passenger seat. “We should get back on the road.
While he slipped behind the wheel, I hesitantly got into the passenger seat. “You’re driving?”
He nodded while starting the car, pulling out of the lot once the GPS was loaded.
“I’m in the driver's seat now,” he winked. “You should get some rest.”
I wanted to fight it because falling asleep and being vulnerable around Noah still worried me. If he wanted to kill me he would have the second I rolled down my window for him. He could have killed me and stolen my car but he didn’t.
The thought of sleep, however, sounded heavenly. So with a nod, I grabbed my blanket from the back seat and snuggled deeper into the seat.
“Try not to crash my car, yeah?” I somewhat joked.
Noah winked. “No promises, angel.”
Tumblr media
“I’ll be there in time, don’t worry Nicholas.”
A soft breath fell from my lips as I adjusted my position on the seat and brought the blanket closer to my chin, sleep still having its claws in me.
“What’s the news saying?”
It was then I noticed Noah was talking to someone, his hushed conversation being picked up easily in the quiet car.
“I cut my hair and I’ll cover my tattoos until I’m across the border if I need to.”
This made my eyes open just a slit, enough to see Noah was on the phone, it clutched tightly to his ear while the other hand gripped the steering wheel. I could tell the car was still moving along the road smoothly and when I glanced at the time remaining on the GPS, I nearly choked on my saliva.
I’d been asleep for five hours; we had less than eight hours left until we reached Canada.
“No, she doesn’t. I plan to keep it that way.”
Now my attention was on Noah again as I continued to pretend I was asleep.
“It’s not like that, Nicholas. She’s getting me to Canada and that’s it. She’ll go wherever she was headed before she picked me up.”
He audibly snorted at whatever this Nicholas said. “No, she has no idea. Prison was hell enough and I barely got out of there alive.”
All the blood drained from my body and I felt every part of me go stiff at hearing his words.
Prison.
Noah had been in prison and I picked him up on the side of the road like some kind of idiot.
Told you he was going to murder you.
Suddenly, all the pieces began to click into place like a disturbed puzzle.
Noah standing in the middle of the road with a bag, dressed in almost prison clothes.
Him randomly deciding to cut his hair.
Sharp eyes watched as each car passed us and nearly hid underneath the seat when the cop cars sped past us.
Cops trying to find an escaped prisoner.
“Stop the car,” I demanded while sitting up.
Noah cursed before hanging up the phone, letting it fall into the cup holder. “How’d you sleep?”
My eyes sliced into him. “Stop the fucking car, Noah!”
He didn’t. Instead, he kept driving as if his words meant absolutely nothing.
I stared at him still with such venom behind my eyes, hatred burning low in my gut.
“You lied to me,” I seethed.
“You never asked,” he glanced my way for a quick second before looking back at the road ahead of him.
It was mid-afternoon now, the sun shining brightly in the car and showcasing all of him. The tattoos on his thick arms bulged as Noah gripped the wheel tighter with one hand while the other rested on his thigh; also covered in tattoos.
I licked my lips, trying to tell myself not to fall for his looks or remember how he made me crumble with those fingers.
“Were you released from prison or did you escape?” I asked with crossed arms.
Even though his lips didn't smile, the way his eyes glinted told me exactly what I needed to know.
“STOP THE FUCKING CAR!” I bellowed while pulling on the door handle.
The noise of the locks engaging echoed loudly in the small car.
My blood ran cold when I realized he wasn't going to let me leave.
“A-r-re you going to k-kill me?” I asked with such a thick waver to my voice, that the sob was practically crawling its way out of my throat.
Noah sighed while scratching at his cheek. “If I wanted to kill you, don’t you think I would have by now?”
I shrugged. “That doesn't mean you won't.”
“I’m not a killer, angel,” he said with a stern voice.
“Then stop the fucking car,” my jaw ticked.
I could see the way he fought with this decision internally until finally, Noah pulled the car over to the side of the road. The route we had been going made it so that not many cars were following us; Noah and I being the only ones out here.
“Can you let me explain?” He asked while turning his body towards me.
“Fuck you,” I spat before storming out of the car and leaving the door open.
The fury blinded me as I began walking on the edge of the road to a destination unknown. Yes, I was leaving my car and belongings behind with him but at that moment, I didn’t give a shit. There was only one thing that mattered.
Get far away from Noah.
“Angel!” He called out after me. “Get your ass back here!”
I tossed him the middle finger over my shoulder, sandals slapping against the gravel. Unfortunately, I hadn’t made it far enough because I heard Noah curse something under his breath before his thunderous footsteps echoed behind me.
“Put me down!” I screamed when I felt myself being tossed over his shoulder.
I writhed against his stronghold as he carried me back to the car. From my view, I was upside down in front of his ass, and for a brief moment, I marveled at how perfect it was.
Focus, idiot!
“I swear to God, Noah. Let me go!”
When I kneed him in the gut, he let me fall to my ass with a grunt and I scrambled to get away from him again, this time hoping I could reach my car and drive off. However, right before I reached the handle of the driver's side door, Noah wrapped his fingers around my wrist to whirl me into the open door of the back seat.
“You’re fucking insane!” I screamed while reaching for the door opposite of me, still trying to escape.
I thought I would feel a sense of fear with him chasing after me and keeping me hostage, instead, I felt an arousal pool between my legs, and my breath hitched when his large frame lay on top of my back, keeping me locked between him and the seat.
“Stop fucking fighting,” he growled low in my ear.
“Just kill me,” I shot back with tears brimming in my eyes. “Get this over with.”
Noah hummed while breathing in my scent. “I already told you, angel. I’m not a killer.”
My bottom lip trembled. “Then what do you want?”
“You,” he answered with zero hesitation.
His large hand snaked up underneath my sweater to scratch at the warm skin of my back and I shivered underneath his electric touch. I should be scared of him yet I yearned to feel him devour me. My soul was vibrating with the need to feel his lips on me, his cock inside of me, and finally let go of that sliver of a person I used to be. Noah wasn’t the only one running from something. Who was I to judge what he’d done to land in prison when I wasn’t any better than him?
“Then what are you waiting for?” I murmured while looking over my shoulder at him.
With a growl, Noah pulled me up to pull off my sweater and bra, leaving me topless for him. His eyes darkened as he licked his lips at the sight of my perky nipples before pushing me back down on the cool leather seats. He then yanked on the seat belt beside me to wrap it around my wrists, keeping them locked behind my back. Then he did the same thing with the other seat belt with my ankles and once he was satisfied with the tightness of my binds, his face loomed over me again.
“The second you want out, say mercy.”
I rapidly nodded. “Please don’t stop. I need this.”
As I was still glancing over my shoulder, I watched Noah as he pulled out a pocket knife from his shorts and felt my heart stop in my chest when it clicked open, the blade slicing through the material of my shorts and underwear.
He had the knife this entire time?
“Such a pretty ass,” Noah mused before laying his palm against it with a strike, followed by another then another. After the six strikes, he soothed the reddened skin with a gentle caress.
I hissed in my bindings, trying to pull away from him but knew it was pointless. He managed to tie the seatbelts so tight, that there was no way I’d be able to escape.
Not that I wanted to anyway.
Noah’s lips kissed down my spine, tongue, and teeth tasting every inch of skin and his name fell off my lips in a hungry whisper. One lone finger gathered up my arousal between my legs which made him hum in delight.
“I’ve barely touched you, angel. You’re already so wet for me,” he licked at his fingers like a kitten lapping up milk.
“Noah,” I panted, trying my hardest to raise my ass towards him.
The space in my car was tight due to his tall frame so he currently was half sitting on me, one leg bent at the knee on my right side while his other leg kept him up against the back of the driver's seat.
“Tell me what you want,” he dragged the flat side of the blade over the swell of my ass, down between my legs, and over my pussy; my slick arousal coating it.
I gulped, the words now foreign on my lips when the cool metal pressed against my clit. My brain was a jumbled mess as I tried to pick out the correct words I needed to say.
“Your cock,” the words finally spilled out when the handle of the knife pressed inside my slick folds.
“Ask nicely,” he demanded while licking up my arousal from the blade, the sharp point cutting his tongue slightly.
“Please,” I groaned at the sight.
The noise that rumbled from the back of Noah’s throat made my pussy clench as I watched him quickly strip out of his clothes, his bare form on full display for me. He was covered in tattoos, almost every inch of him and when he leaned over towards the front seat, I sucked in a breath at the large tattoo on his back.
“Shit,” he grumbled and tossed his bag back onto the seat.
“What is it?” I wondered.
He ran a hand over his jaw. “Unless you have a condom hiding somewhere in your car then we need to rethink this.”
My face fell and I sucked in my bottom lip which caused Noah to tilt his head at me.
“You’re going back to that place, angel. If you want me to stop, please-.”
“No!” I said a little too suddenly. “I want this, Noah. Trust me. We don’t need a condom. I’m safe.”
“Are you on birth control?” His brows furrowed.
I winced because I didn’t want to get into the procedure I had undergone six years ago; against my free will. So I lied instead.
“Yeah.”
That was all Noah needed to hear before he spit on the palm of his hand and wrapped it around his thick cock; beads of precum spilling over the head. It was long and red with a blue vein on the underneath of it.
It was the prettiest cock I’d ever seen.
Noah adjusted himself behind me the best he could due to the limited space and he raised my hips off the seat with one hand while the other angled the head of his cock at my pussy. I trilled in delight when he filled me, the sudden fullness making my stomach twitch with slight pain. He must have noticed because he stopped moving his hips and placed a tender kiss on my shoulder.
“Safe word?”
“I’m okay, just give me a minute.”
I didn’t want to tell him that the last time I had sex it was rough, not in the nice kind of way, so my body was still reacting to it.
“Okay,” I breathed after a moment. “Don’t hold back, Noah. Please.”
And he didn’t.
His hips smacked against my ass so hard, the sound drowned out the mewls of pleasure that spit from my tongue. The head of his cock hit that spot every time he pulled almost all the way out and then slammed back into me.
“Fuck, angel. I missed this feeling so much. I’m not going to last long with you gripping my cock like this,” Noah’s teeth bit down on the skin between my shoulder blades.
“Oh God,” I grunted.
He pulled on the part of the seatbelt that wasn’t tied around my wrists and wrapped it around my neck twice; just tight enough to cut off my oxygen a bit but still able to breathe.
“There’s no God in this car with us. Just you and me.”
Noah’s nails dug into the sensitive skin of my hips as he pounded into me with no regard, the squelching of our shared arousals sounding vulgar. Due to the tightness of the belt around my throat, it felt like I was floating higher and higher to my orgasm. The edges of my vision went blurry with the impending doom of unconsciousness. It was there, along with my orgasm, ready to pull me under the waves and never let me up.
Just as I was about to succumb, the blade cut through the belt around my neck and slightly nicked my skin, blood dripping to the seat below.
“Shit,” Noah hissed when he realized what he’d done, hips stalling. “Angel, I’m-.”
“Don’t fucking stop!” I commanded. “I’m so fucking close, Noah.”
He slipped a hand between my pussy and the seat, fingers strumming against my clit like he was playing the guitar. It was exactly what I needed to finally slip underneath the waves and I screamed out my arousal, it coating his cock. Noah didn’t give me a second to enjoy the after-shocks because he cut the binds at my wrists and ankles and then flipped me over on my back so I could look up at him. With my legs wrapped around his back, he thrust a few more times before spilling himself inside of me with a guttural moan that sent shivers down my spine.
Noah’s freshly cut hair was a mess across his forehead so I did my best to brush it away from his eyes, the darkness of them drinking in the sight of my wetness on his cock and then snapped up to the blood drying between my breasts. The tip of his tongue darted up to clean the bloody mess he made before kissing his way down my stomach and leaving a soft kiss on my clit.
“Ah! Shit!” I panted when he began lapping up our shared arousal between my legs, licking me clean.
I ran my fingers through the softness of his hair, pulling him away from me because the overstimulation was too much to take.
“Too much,” I sighed.
Noah slinked his hand behind my neck to jerk my mouth up to his and wrenched my jaw open to spit the blood and cum mixture in my mouth. It was filthy and so fucking wrong.
I loved every second of it.
I tasted both of us on his tongue and it made me hum in satisfaction before he let me fall back to the seat with a soft thud.
“You taste fucking divine, angel,” Noah mused while wiping his lips clean.
Sighing in content, I let myself lay there for a few extra moments while I watched Noah rest against one of the seats doing his best to calm his breathing. We let the silence encompass us for a long while until I rested my hands on my stomach and looked over at him when his voice broke through the quiet.
“Are you alright?”
The features of his face were soft but filled with concern so I quickly nodded, reassuring him I was more than alright. It felt like my body was still floating in ecstasy.
“You barely cut me, Noah. I’ve had worse,” I said while slowly sitting up.
He frowned at my words and I realized what I said so I did my best to change the subject.
“How’d you escape?” I asked while pulling my knees to my chest.
Noah extended his arm across the back seat and sighed. “Me and another inmate were on the way to be transferred to another prison across the state when the van crashed and I snuck away. According to the papers, prisoner 213123 died in the fire while prisoner 44536 escaped.”
“Let me guess, you swapped your numbers so it seemed like you died instead of the other guy,” I snorted.
He merely shrugged with a smirk. “Are you going to turn me in?”
I pursed my lips already knowing the answer. “Why are you telling me all of this? If you’re on the run, don’t you think you should have come up with a different identity?”
“I trust you, angel,” he answered, not missing a beat.
Trust.
How can this man trust me when I hadn’t spoken an ounce of my own transgressions?
“You don’t even know me,” my voice was hushed.
Noah brushed away the hair from my face so he could look directly into my eyes. “I was betrayed by someone I’d known for years. It’s a feeling, telling me to trust you.”
“You said you didn’t kill anyone, right?” I questioned while resting my head against the headrest.
We both were still naked and the cool air from the vents brought chills to our skin.
“Bank robbery. My crew and I were set up. I took the fall for all of it. I got twenty years while they went into hiding,” Noah’s fingers brushed along my shoulder.
“How long did you actually serve?”
He gave me that infamous smirk, the one I found myself swooning over. “Three years, just enough for my crew to set up shop somewhere else.”
“Canada?” I teased with a lift of my brow.
“You can come with me, ya know?” Noah suggested while stretching out his long limbs in the backseat. “Get away from whatever you’re running from.”
I suddenly froze in front of him. “What makes you think I’m running from something?”
He lifted my chin with a tattooed knuckle, his breath fanning over my lips. “The look in your eyes matches my own. And maybe that’s why you haven’t run from me yet.”
The truth in his words scared the hell out of me, how he could read me so well like a book.
“We should get back on the road if you want to get to your friends on time,” I said while pulling away from him.
Without saying another word, I pulled out a pair of sweats and a t-shirt, quickly changing. I hopped over to the front seat and clicked the belt over me while Noah threw his previous clothes on and got out of the car to walk around to the front seat.
“You fucked up my seat belts,” I grumbled while pulling back onto the main road.
“Send me the invoice when you get them replaced,” he chuckled.

Four hours and the glowing moon later, we were closer to Canada than before and Noah had been reading a book while I silently sang along to the words on my playlist. Every so often his hand would graze over to my thigh, squeezing it when he noticed I would start to doze off.
“I’m fine,” I assured him with a nod when I’d been caught again.
He placed the book back in his bag before pointing to an upcoming exit sign. “I think I saw some restaurants up ahead. Let’s get something to eat and I’ll take over driving.”
Bright red and blue lights filled the car and I cursed when I peeked in the rearview mirror seeing a cop attempting to pull me over. Sweat gathered at my palms as I looked over to Noah, wondering what I should do.
His jaw was clenched tight and I thought he was about to yell at me, blaming my reckless driving for getting pulled over. Instead, he patted my knee and motioned to the car.
“Pull over. It’s alright, angel. Just act natural and he won't suspect anything.”
Swallowing thickly, I did my best to remain calm because the thought of acting naturally knowing I had a wanted fugitive in my car not to mention what I was running from made it impossible.
Once the car was at a stop, I started running my hands up and down my thighs, doing whatever I could to stop my racing heart.
“Just tell them you were falling asleep so we were planning on switching drivers, okay?” Noah said while placing a hat low over his eyes.
You’re so fucked! How can you hide someone who escaped from prison?
Well, according to Noah, people think he died in the crash so maybe the cop won’t even notice him.
Oh really? And what's your excuse? How do you plan to explain all that blood in your apartment and his-?
A firm tapping on my window made me roll it down with an innocent smile as I handed him my license. “I know I was swerving.”
“Have you had anything to drink?” The officer asked, shining his flashlight in my face after taking a peek at my license.
I squinted my eyes while shaking my head. “No. I’m sober. It’s been a long drive and we were planning on switching at the next exit.”
This made the officer glance over to Noah, who kept his head down as if he were asleep.
“Hm. Well, I ran your plates. Do you know Sean Writhe?”
My soul had been sucked dry, leaving me a bag of skin and bones as I slumped into my seat.
No. No. No. This cannot be happening.
“Yes,” I said quietly.
“He’s the registered owner of the car, is that right?”
Noah shifted in his seat next to me when I answered. “Yeah.”
“According to your license, he’s your husband,” the officer said.
The noise that came from Noah made my stomach drop and I knew that there would be no way I could explain myself to him without him getting upset.
“Soon to be ex, we’re separated,” I said while rubbing my hands over my thighs.
The officer raised a dark eyebrow at me, his salt and pepper combed back away from his face.
“Sean Writhe is dead. Officers back in Los Angeles found his body in your shared apartment.”
I bit the inside of my cheek, trying to keep my snarky remark to myself but ultimately failing.
“I didn’t think Montana cops were particular about knowing Los Angeles crimes.”
The officer's eyes sliced into me, one hand on his hip. “We are when we spot a wanted car driving in our parts of town. You’re wanted for questioning in your husband's murder.”
“Fuck.”
Noah’s curse from next to me caused the officer to shine the light on him again, this time longer than before. I watched in horror as his shoulders went rigid, the realization setting in on who exactly was sitting in my front seat. I wasn’t sure how he recognized Noah with the short hair and hat but it had to be one of his many tattoos that gave him away.
“Sir,” the officer's voice was shaky as he began reaching for his gun. “Can you step out of the car for me?”
Shit. Shit. Shit.
“Angel,” Noah’s voice was a warning when I glanced over to him, my body shaking with fear.
The softness of his almond eyes underneath his hat eased me a bit but then everything next happened so fast, I couldn’t register it all until it was too late.
Noah pulled out the gun from his bag and then reached over my seat to pull on the handle, making me fall back and out of view when he aimed the barrel of the gun at the officer; three loud pops reverberated in the confines of my car, along with my screams. I covered my hands too late, seeing the officer's body fall to the ground in a heap of blood.
Teeth sunk in deep around my heart, dragging it to the depths of hell along with me, and I choked on the air around me. I desperately needed the oxygen to fill my lungs again as I clawed at my throat, still lying down in the driver's seat.
“Shit,” Noah clambered over his seat towards me, eyes staring down with worry. “Angel, are you alright? Say something.”
I shook my head, my brain not functioning enough to say anything, so he raised my seat again and cupped my cheeks.
“I need to know you’re not going to pass out on me, okay? I have to deal with the body before someone drives by and sees it.”
The body.
Even with the vice grip surrounding me, I gave a curt nod which was enough for Noah, who slipped out of the car towards the body that lay on the other side of my door. Daring a glance through the open window, the headlights from the officer's car shined bright on his deathly form. Two bullet holes in his chest, one directly in the middle of his forehead.
“You said you’re not a killer,” I finally found my voice through the haze.
It was as if everything was slowly coming back to me. The officer pulled us over, finding out that what I had been running from finally caught up to me, and Noah took care of the problem.
Just like I had done.
“Circumstances changed, angel,” he grunted while dragging the body towards the back of my car. “Pop the trunk.”
I blinked rapidly before pressing the button, the trunk springing open. The shift of the added weight made the car buckle before Noah slammed the door shut and then was back in his spot next to me.
“What are you doing?” I wondered, watching him type something on his phone.
“We need a new plan,” he said. “There’s a lake three miles ahead, away from prying eyes. I need you to drive your car there, I’ll follow behind in the officer's car where we’ll dump the cars and him.”
My eyes widened. “Excuse me? We’re doing what now?”
Noah ran a tired hand over his face with an audible sigh. “We need to get rid of the evidence, angel. Then get far away from here as soon as we can. Soon, others will come looking for him and us.”
As much as I wanted to scream at him, remind him there was no us, I knew he was right. The faster we deal with the body in the trunk, the faster we can get away from it all.
“Okay,” I nodded while starting the car. “I’ll follow you.”
Noah’s grip was tight on my chin as he forced me to look at him, anger filling his eyes. “Once we’re done with this little hiccup, we’re going to talk about what happened with your husband.”
The venom in the word husband made my skin crawl.
“Ex,” I spat through gritted teeth. “I was divorcing him.”
“Right,” Noah clicked his tongue. “Was that before or after you killed him?”
My silence gave him the answer he needed. I couldn’t judge or grill him about being a killer when I was one. And now, so was Noah.
“Follow close behind, okay? I don’t need you to lose me. It’s only a three-mile drive,” Noah left me with a tender kiss on my forehead that eased away some of the fear and worry.
Five minutes later, I stood off to the side holding my arms to my chest as I watched Noah empty all of our belongings from my car and then wipe everything down.
Washing away the evidence.
“What’s the point if we’re sinking the car?” I asked.
The moonlight struck through the clouds, casting Noah in an eternal glow and if it had been any other moment in time, I’d wrap myself around him to taste his lips. But now, the only thing I thought of was the sound his gun made when it killed the officer.
“Just in case they find the car and pull it out of the river,” Noah said with not an ounce of worry in his voice.
Must be nice.
He’d already put cinder blocks in the officer's car, letting it drive off the ledge of the cliff to the waters below with a loud splash. For the next few minutes, we watched as the same thing happened with my car and I held onto the two bags that held my entire life's possessions.
“How’d you do it?”
Noah’s question jarred me out of the trance I had found myself in.
“Uh,” my tongue darted out to wet my lips. “I stabbed him. Except I missed and ended up slicing his arm instead. He chased me through our apartment until I locked myself in the bathroom. He eventually broke down the door but this time I was ready for him and sliced the femoral artery.”
“Fuck,” he whistled low, stuffing his hands in his pockets. “Quick death.”
“Not quick enough,” I muttered under my breath.
Noah stepped in front of me, blocking the path to my sinking car. He was taller than me by a full foot so I had to tilt my head up towards him. The calloused pads of his fingers grazed over my cheek and I allowed myself to relax with his touch.
“You made that comment earlier about how you had worse things happen to you than a simple cut of a knife,” he noted.
I nodded. “Sean wanted the perfect trophy wife and when I didn’t deliver, he took it out on me any way he could. Beating me, starving me, or locking me away in our crawl space. Sometimes if he was really pissed at me when I said no to sex, he would-.”
The words died on my tongue, unable to finish the sentence. But I didn’t need to, Noah understood. He pulled me into his embrace and left a kiss on my hairline as I wrapped my arms around his broad back, resting my cheek against his chest.
“He deserved death,” Noah grumbled.
“I gathered the strength to leave him with the help of my brother but Sean was the son of the mayor so when I tried to serve him with divorce papers, they somehow disappeared.”
His grip on me tightened as I continued. “I was staying with my brother at the time so I met Sean back at his place to try and talk him into getting a divorce. It went sour pretty fast and that’s when it happened.”
I rested my chin on his sternum now so I could gaze up at him through my lashes. “There’s one more thing you should know.”
When he nodded, I took a deep breath and spoke. “Before, when you asked me if I was on birth control, I lied.”
His body went tense in my grasp so I squeezed his hips. “I can’t get pregnant. Sean forced me to have a hysterectomy.”
“What?!” Noah’s eyes were blazing with hatred.
“Sean didn’t want kids but also didn’t want to wear a condom. He thought I’d get fat if I went on the pill so he thought the next best thing was to remove my uterus. He had some surgeon friends that did the surgery, no questions asked.”
“Death was an easy way out for him,” he seethed.
I let out a deep breath, hoping it would not only calm myself but Noah as well.
“It’s a part of my life I’m trying to leave behind. I have plans to meet my brother in Wisconsin in three days then we’re off to live our lives in Vermont. That’s where I was headed when you found me.”
“When you almost hit me with your car,” he corrected with a smug smile.
I playfully smacked his chest before slipping out of his embrace to grab my bags. “Matt, my brother, stayed behind to clean up my mess so the least I can do is keep my promise to him and meet him at our rendezvous point.”
The corner of Noah’s lips twitched as he wanted to say something but ultimately nodded and tossed his bag over his shoulder. “Well, if you and your brother change your mind. There’s always extra space in our encampment in Calgary.”
“Encampment?” I questioned, scruffing the heels of my shoes on the gravel.
We were still standing on the edge of the cliff beyond the trees, far away from the road so no one would see us.
“My crew bought ten acres of land in the middle of the woods in Calgary. Spent the last three years building homes, making it livable, so when I finally broke out, I’d have somewhere to go,” Noah explained.
“And you want me to join? Like a cult?”
He mocked the hurt by holding a hand over his heart. “I would never! It’s not a cult, angel. Just a place for me and my friends all to live within a few miles of each other. Plenty of homes with privacy.”
My bottom lip caught between my teeth as I weighed his offer. While it sounded very tempting to be able to live within miles of him and see him every day, I made a promise to Matt; one I couldn’t break.
Clearing my throat, I tossed my hair on top of my head in a messy bun before placing my hands on my hips.
“Well, now that our ride is at the bottom of the river, how do you expect me to fulfill my end of the deal?”
Just then, thunderous sounds of motorcycles crept up from behind, spinning around us in quick succession, it made me dizzy to watch. However, Noah had a smirk on his face when the spinning bikes halted their movements.
“About time you showed up,” he said to one of the men who stepped off his bike.
When the man took off his helmet, long chocolate waves fell around his face and I sucked in a breath at how gorgeous he was. The light from the street lamp above captured his strong cheekbones and the nose piercing in his nose.
“Well, aren't you a sight for sore eyes,” the man chuckled with an unknown accent.
Noah and the man hugged. “Nice to see you, Joakim.”
Joakim ruffled Noah’s hair. “Nice haircut.”
He smacked his hand away just in time for another man to step up to the group of us, this one shorter than the other but his smile brought immediate comfort.
“Folio!” Noah gathered the man in a bear hug. “Catch any good fish at Omens?”
“Every morning!” Folio beamed.
“Omens?” I quietly asked.
Noah turned towards me with a smile. “It’s the name of our encampment.”
“Oh,” I mouthed while adjusting the bag on my back.
Folio motioned to me with a nod. “This her?”
“Angel, meet the guys. Folio and Joakim,” Noah introduced while throwing an arm over my shoulder as a way to claim what was his.
And I didn’t stop him.
I gave a small tentative wave. “Hello.”
“Sorry you had to deal with this one the last 24 hours,” Joakim said.
“Oh, he wasn’t that bad,” I linked his hand with mine as it was still resting on my shoulder.
“You tell her?” Folio asked Noah.
“Not so much tell but overheard and put the pieces together herself.”
Joakim chuckled. “Smart cookie. And you still stayed with him?”
“What can I say?” I glanced up at him. “He’s charming.”
Our eyes locked and I noticed how pouty and full his lips were. It was then I realized we never kissed. Not even when we fucked in the backseat of my car and I suddenly wanted to change that.
“We should get going before someone comes looking for the missing officer,” Joakim said.
Noah nodded before leading me over to one of the bikes the guys rode in on and I practically dug my heels into the ground.
“There’s no way I’m getting on that,” I shook my head.
“Angel, it’s our only ride. We’ll get to Canada a lot faster this way,” he explained while placing the helmet on my head, after taking out my hair from the bun.
“I already told you, Noah. I’m meeting-.”
“Your brother. I know, I know,” he nodded with a sigh. “I’ll let you take one of my cars. It’ll be waiting for you once we reach the border and you can leave right away.”
The thought of leaving him made my heart ache but I knew it was something I had to do.
Before I could ask how all four of us were planning on going back with only two bikes, Joakim pointed a finger at Folio.
“Watch your hands, fish boy. I’m not Michelle where you can feel up on the back of your bike,” he threatened with a smile.
Folio waved him off before the two guys climbed onto Joakim's bike and I very carefully climbed on behind Noah. I let my arms hang loosely around his side which made him grab both of my hands, wrapping them around his stomach.
“You need to hold on tight,” his voice came through the com in the helmet, making it easier to hear him through the sounds of the wind.
I squealed when the bike jerked with a start, gliding along the darkened roads as the rising sun began to break over the horizon.
Tumblr media
Just as he promised, once we reached the border of Canada, there was a car waiting for me; a shiny black escalade.
“Wow,” I whistled low while hopping off the bike. “What other secrets are you hiding from me?”
It was a joke but the look in Noah’s dark eyes made me shudder with the fear of the unknown.
Joakim and Folio had no issue crossing the border but they still hung back and waited for Noah to cross; in case there were any issues. Noah had explained during the drive that he had changed his name.
Going into prison, his name was Davis Seb. Now it was Noah Sebastian. His hair was cut shorter and he wore a black turtleneck and jacket to hide all of his tattoos. He reassured me many times that he shouldn’t have an issue getting into Canada.
“How far of a drive do you have to Wisconsin?” He asked while leaning against his bike, long legs stretched and crossed at the ankles.
I stood off to the side, close to the SUV, and checked the GPS on my phone with a wince.
“About twenty hours.”
Noah hooked a finger through the strap of my backpack and pulled me closer to him, my legs straddling him in a standing position. I ran my fingers through his hair, brushing away the bangs from his face.
“If you change your mind, both you and Matt will have a place to stay,” he said.
“You don’t have to do that, Noah. This was only supposed to be a ride, nothing more.”
He shrugged before nuzzling his face in the crook of my neck. “That was before I got to know you. As much as I don’t want to, I have to let you go.”
“Maybe just until everything dies down with us, ya know? Once the dust settles,” I suggested with a hopeful smile.
One Noah immediately returned. “Omens will always have a place for you guys.”
“How will I know where to find you if I change my mind?” I teased while playing with the buttons of his jacket.
“There’s a burner phone in your bag; untraceable. It has my number so you can text me when you made it safely to your brother and coordinates to Omens. You don’t need to let me know when you’re coming, just show up, angel.”
“Okay,” I agreed while biting my lip.
“You know,” he dragged a finger over my bottom lip, almost ripping it out from my teeth. “We’ve been together for almost thirty hours and I still don’t know your name.”
Instead of giving it away, I stepped out from his embrace and motioned towards Joakim and Folio, who were growing antsy waiting for him.
“Your friends are waiting,” I said.
Nodding, Noah climbed back onto the bike but before he drove off, he glanced over at me and tossed me the keys to the car.
“Try not to crash my car, yeah?”
I giggled with a wink. “No promises.”
He started up the bike, revving to life inside my chest, but before he drove off, Noah tossed me a bag.
“Before I forget.”
Peering inside of it with a raised brow, I nearly dropped it to my feet when I saw it was full of money.
Way more than he originally offered me in the beginning.
“Noah,” I glanced up to notice that he was waiting in line to cross the border.
I watched with my heart holding steady in my chest as the person checked his I.D. and then him before letting him go with a nod and I let out the breath I’d been holding. Once I was settled comfortably in the Escalade, I pulled out the burner phone to see there was already a text waiting for me.
Noah: I hope to see you soon, angel. Drive save.
With a smile, I texted back.
Me: Y/N. My name is Y/N.
Knowing he was driving the bike, he wouldn't have time to respond so I texted Matt from my phone instead.
Me: Got delayed a bit but back on the road. Everything is fine, I will explain once we meet. I’ve got a new rendezvous point if it works for you.
He replied almost immediately.
Matt: Where are we headed?
I texted him new coordinates before putting the car in drive, tires squealing against the asphalt as I peeled away from the Canadian border.
Tumblr media
Four Months Later
“Are you sure this is the right place?” Matt asked while peering out of the front windshield from the passenger seat.
I nodded, driving slowly through the vast forest of trees. “These are the coordinates he sent.”
“Why won’t you text him? Let him know that we’re lost,” he sighed while falling back into his seat.
“We are not lost!” I defended while easing the Escalade through the thick trees. “It’s ten acres of land, I doubt they would build their houses on the first few.”
For the last four months, I had kept myself in hiding, starting over with my new life in North Dakota. After leaving Noah, I was quick to change up plans because I didn’t want to be far from him when I was ready to find him again. With the money Noah had given me, I was able to pay for a hotel up front for the last four months so Matt and I could live there, just until recently when my name was cleared in Sean’s murder. Somehow, Matt was able to make his death look like a suicide. Every time I tried to ask him how he simply hushed my question with a swift pat on the head.
“I’m your older brother. It’s my job to take care of you.”
I’d also been keeping an eye on the news for Noah’s escape from prison but like he had said, everyone thought he died in the accident. The officer’s death was never brought up, people close to him thought he ran off with some hookers or something.
With the silence surrounding our transgressions, it was safe to leave hiding and return to each other. I hadn’t spoken to Noah at all the last four months besides telling him I made it safely to my rendezvous to which he responded with two angel wings. I knew we had to keep the communication to a minimum which is why I hadn’t told him I was coming; he was the one that said to just show up.
Suddenly, past the clearing of the large maple trees turning red and orange due to the cooler autumn weather, houses appeared along with a large group of people huddled around a large bonfire. The sun was setting, casting everything in a purple hue and when I put the car in park, I breathed a little breath of relief when I immediately recognized someone sitting in a lawn chair.
Joakim, had the biggest smile on his face when he noticed the car with the plates reading OMIIINS
“Come on,” I motioned for Matt to follow as I jumped out of the car, smoothing out the yellow sundress.
The air had chilled since I left North Dakota twelve hours ago, in the early morning.
“Hi,” I waved to Joakim.
“Well, about time you showed up,” he smacked his thighs while rising to his feet. “Let me introduce you guys to everyone.”
For the next few minutes, while I introduced Matt and me to everyone, Joakim said everyone's names slowly enough so I could remember.
“Since you’ll be living here, you have to remember,” he winked.
Folio, who I remembered from that night, and his girlfriend with the short black hair Michelle.
Bryan.
Nicholas.
Davis and his girlfriend who had split colored hair, black and orange. Her name was Sarah.
And lastly, Ash, who smiled at me with a toothy grin. “Noah hasn’t stopped talking about you since he got here four months ago. He’s been working nonstop on making this place home for you and your brother.”
The fire rose and crackled with earned life when a gruff voice sounded from behind me.
“Angel.”
Whipping around on my heels, I came face to face with Noah and nearly stumbled back at his appearance. His muscles were more defined, indicating he had been working out. There was a faint auburn scruff covering his upper lip and chin, not a lot but just enough. He was dressed in a pair of gray sweats and nothing else, the broadness of his chest making the tattoos seem larger than before. But it was his hair that had me nearly falling over myself.
It was long again, not nearly as long as when I met him that night. Now it stopped just above his shoulders, the familiar brown waves making me smile.
“You grew your hair out,” I pointed to him.
He shrugged with a lazy smile. “I got tired of seeing my neck.”
My lips parted to speak again but his rough hands snaked behind my neck to pull me into him, crashing his mouth on mine. I moaned when the taste of something sweet yet spicy mingled with my tongue and wrapped my arms around his neck, deepening the kiss by molding into him. It was a hungry kiss, full of desire long overdue, and Noah’s teeth scraped along my bottom lip as he pulled away.
“You came,” he breathed before placing a kiss on the tip of my nose.
I giggled. “You offered me a place to stay, remember? Aren't you glad you didn’t kill me?”
There was a wickedness to his smile, one that made my pussy clench.
“I could have easily murdered you without hesitation,” he reminded me with a wink.
I stood tall on my feet, arms still wrapped around his neck. “Why didn’t you?”
“Those angelic eyes made me all dizzy and weak.”
I kissed him again, this time with more passion than before but it didn’t last as long, much to my dismay.
“Now that you’re here, I’m not letting you go, Y/N,” Noah’s hands tightened on my hips.
I let out a soft moan when hearing my name on his lips.
“Say it again,” I begged.
And he did, over and over again as he lifted me from the ground and my legs wrapped around his waist.
“Nicholas, show her brother to his place. Y/N stays with me,” Noah ordered while running up the stairs of our wooden home, the slamming of the door cutting off my fits of laughter.

courtney x reader x noah ??? smut???? yes .
filthy ass nsfw under the cut.
Tumblr media
you don’t remember how you ended up on courtneys lap while everyone was playing some drinking game, but your back is pressed to her chest and shes kissing all over you neck. theres smudges here and there from her lipstick, but your mind felt too fuzzy for you to really notice, cold, manicured hands rubbing on your thighs.
you barley noticed a pair of dark almond shaped eyes staring at you from across the room; noah. him and courtney had made a little, plan, if you will, and she already had you wrapped around her finger.
“hm, baby, wanna go upstairs? got somethin’ up there for you.”
thats when she signaled at noah to go up there, watching as he excused himself from the game. your soft and mumbled reply came a little after, a small “uh huh..” she gently nudged you off, wrapping an arm - almost possessively - around your waist, leading you up to the room.

Tumblr media
————
your hands are threading and tugging at noah’s hair, grinding against his face, your thighs threatening to snap closed around his head but he’s keeping them open. your back is to courtneys chest once again, but her arm is wrapped around your middle, the other reaching lower and lower until shes pressing a vibrator at your clit.
your brain is complete mush, the feeling of noahs tongue licking up on your upper walls with his fingers knuckles deep inside you, and courtney pressing the toy on your clit feels so good.
you hear her murmur words of praise behind you, something like “doin’ so good for us,” and “takin’ it so well.” you’re hurtling over the edge when noah hums in approval, the vibrations mixed with his fingers basically massaging the bundle of nerves inside you felt so overwhelmingly good. but they don’t stop there.
they keep going until your sobbing and all your pretty makeup is ruined, legs shaking so bad that you couldn’t even feel them. “whats wrong pup? thought you wanted this, hm?” “c’mon, you can take another. be good for him.”

Ghost
I send a text to my best friend telling him I have great news I want to share. His reply a short ‘I'm home bunny.’ With the letter in my hand, I make my way to his house.
Coming through the door of the house I see the faces of my friends except Noah. “Upstairs, he's getting ready to stream.” Nicholas is quick to notice my searching eyes.
“I've got some really good news, let me share with Noah first and I'll come back down and tell you guys too!” I head for the stairs and make my ascent.
Noah was the only one who knew about The Tortured Poet Society reaching out to me after finding a story I had posted. When they wanted me to send in a portfolio for review to possibly land me a seat at the round table, I had called him immediately freaking out. I didn't want to tell anyone else about the application. If they rejected me, it would just be a disappointment. They are like the most elite book club, some of the best authors make up the table.
Reaching my best friend's room I opened the door, stepping inside I almost forget why I'm here. The sight before me clouding my already excited mind.
“You're really gonna stream like that, sweets?” His shoulders only shrugged in response. “I got the letter today.” Holding the piece of paper up, I make my approach.
He sits low in his chair, hips all the way forward and long legs spread wide. My eyes can't help but rake up his form, from his lap where his hand rests on his thigh, up his bare torso and landing on the mask hiding his face. Tattoos on display, and freckles painting the tops of his shoulders.
Normally I wouldn't think twice about plopping myself on his lap. But this all feels too intimate. I'm pretty sure I don't have a thing for masks, but knowing it's him underneath the Ghost cosplay is setting me ablaze. I stand directly in front of him, just between his knees to read the letter.
As I'm reading I don't realize my left leg has risen to rest on his thigh, bent at the knee. A warm hand on the top of my thigh just below the hem of my skirt makes me suddenly aware of just how I am encroaching on his space.
“Uh, so yeah, I'm in! I can't believe I'm actually in!” “I already knew they would love you bunny. You're so good.” He spoke for the first time and his voice is lower and deeper than usual, getting husky with his last statement.
A noise from his computer cuts through the haze, his stream friends are waiting for him. I bite my lip and sit the letter down on the desk, placing both my hands at the top of his chest. My fingers rest against the chain around his neck, the cold material a stark contrast to his hot skin. His hand on my thigh slides up slightly as I lean in, planting a kiss on the mask. I move my head close to his ear and give my best sultry whisper.
“I'll let you get to your stream, sweet boy.” I pull away, making a show of letting one of my hands trail down his torso as I bring myself back to standing. Instead of turning to walk away I opt to back away slowly, drinking as much of him like this as I can. My hands interlocked behind my back, a subconscious move to keep me from reaching out for him more. “I've got an early morning, I'll see you tomorrow.” “You can count on it, bunny.”
I reluctantly make my way out of the room, eyes never leaving his form until the door blocks my line of sight. For once, I don't care if he knows the effect he has on me. Instead, I want him to know.
Downstairs I share the news with the rest of the guys. “Congrats bunny!” Matt says, not knowing the sultry way that nickname fell from Noah’s masked lips just moments before. Each of the boys congratulate me and pull me into an array of tight hugs before I leave for the night.
My car feels quiet and empty. I turn on some music, body still hot and mind cloudy. Pulling out of the driveway, “The Feels” by Labrinth and Zendaya plays.
That boy will be the death of me.

I am currently brain rotting thoughts of thou shalt not kill Noah thanks too @concreteangel92
I should be sleeping but all I’m thinking about is serial killer Noah luring the reader to an abandoned church where he just had his last kill. He makes her straddle him with her back into his chest, and he’s sitting on his knees as he fucks her in front of a giant mirror. The ski mask, the black clothes, plus his hand with blood trickling down it around your throat making it look so unholy. 🥵🥵🥵🥵

WARPED TOUR 2011 BECCA
My knee bounced up and down as I sat on the leather sofa in the tour bus. We had never had a proper tour bus before. The closest thing we had was Theo’s Dad’s old van that kept breaking down. Nerves shot through my body as I tried to slow my heart-rate and regain my normal breathing.
Warped Tour was by far the biggest tour we had ever done. Sure, we were still supporting other bands, but we weren’t performing in a small, run-down dive bar. This was real. Bring Me The Horizon. Pierce The Veil. Sleeping With Sirens. All Time Low. Motionless In White. Our favourite bands were playing alongside us. We were one of them.
“Quit bouncing your leg Becca, I feel like I’m experiencing a fucking earthquake right now, jeez.” Johnny, our bass player, complained.
The rest of the guys erupted in laughter.
“Calm your tits, Johnny! Leave me alone.” I laughed in reply.
I had never been this nervous for a set before. We only had one album out, Arachnophobia, that had been doing reasonably well, but I was still so nervous. What if we get booed off stage? What if we fuck up the timings? What if I trip and fall flat on my fucking face? Worst-case scenarios flashed through my mind at lightning speed, corrupting whatever positive and confident thought that I still possessed.
“I need some air.” I said to the guys in a small voice.
“You good?” Kevin, our lead guitar player called out to me from his seat at the opposite end of the sofa.
“No. I just need a minute of fresh air.” I tried to reassure him, ultimately failing miserably.
“You sure?” Luke, our rhythm guitar player asked from his bunk.
“Yep. I won’t be long.” I mumbled, just loud enough for them to hear.
I walked around the festival site for a little while. The tents where bands were stood meeting fans and selling merch were absolutely packed. We had been selling merch and meting some fans as well, but nowhere near the scale of any of the bands situated near our tent.
This was our first ever festival. As I said, we were a small band. No one really knew who we were. That could also be said about some of the other bands on this tour as well to be fair. Warped Tour seemed like a brilliant opportunity for new fans to start listening to us when our manager, Nick, pitched it to us. But now it seemed like literal hell on earth. God, what if people left our set?
I tried to push those thoughts down, but nothing worked. As soon as I forced out one doubt, another just popped up in its place. It felt like my mind was the hydra from ancient Greek myth. Equally as venomous and persistent. It was going to be difficult to keep those negative feelings at bay for the rest of the tour. I had always struggled with not feeling good enough, and this tour was just amplifying those ideas. If nobody came to our set, everything would have been for nothing.
My phone started ringing in my pocket after about twenty minutes of my walk. It was Nick. I stared at the screen for a second. Breathing in through my nose and out through my mouth.
“Hey.” I said straight after answering the call.
“Hey yourself! Your set is in five minutes Bex. Get your ass to the stage right fucking now before I either lose my shit or lose my job. Whichever comes first.” Nick yelled down the line over the band who were finishing up their set before ours was due to start. I could hear the smile in his voice.
“Yep I’ll be there in a sec. I lost track of time, sorry.” I replied hurriedly.
“Great. Thanks. See you in a sec then.” Nick finished.
I started running back towards the stage when I bumped into something. It felt like a lamppost or something tall and thin like that. Except there weren’t any lampposts here. I looked up to see a tall, heavily tattooed man with long, black hair looking down at me with a slightly pained smile on his beautiful face.
I didn’t have time for this. I called out a quick sorry as I kept running towards the stage.
By the time I got there, I was doubled over and panting trying to catch my breath. “She’s here!” Luke shouted as I rounded the corner to the side-stage area. I was handed a microphone by Nick
“Good luck you guys. You’ve got this.” Nick encouraged with his arms round mine and Johnny’s shoulders. I took a breath in through my nose and out through my mouth as the rest of the guys walked onto the stage to begin the intro to the first song on our album, Make me Wanna Die, “Give ‘em hell kid.” Nick whispered in my ear with a pat on my back. I closed my eyes for a second then stepped out onto the stage.
The world around me seemed to slow down as I lifted my mic up to my mouth to start the song. My lyrics flew out of my mouth with a natural ease. This wasn’t as hard as I thought. A large crowd had formed at the stage. Not too bad for our first show of the tour. Some people in the crowd were singing along to the song, which filled me with pure joy and unrivalled confidence. I started to move and jump across the stage which excited the crowd even more. By the time we were halfway through our set, the crowd had grown significantly and even began singing even louder to the words that they knew.
I had never experienced such a buzz from the crowd. It felt electric. Looking at the rest of the band, it looked like they felt the same. Wide, beaming smiles were plastered on their faces. I was sure I wore a similar one on my own face. In fact, my face hurt because of the smile that covered my face.
Up until this point, the largest show that we had ever played was to only about eighty people. But now, we were performing to a crowd of about two hundred and fifty. It wasn’t a massive crowd by any means, but it was huge to us. All of our favourite bands started out like this, playing for much smaller crowds. It gave me hope that one day we could be as big as those bands. Someday.
“How is everyone doing?” I shouted into my microphone.
The crowd cheered in response. Holy shit.
“You guys having fun?” I asked.
The crowd cheered in response again. This felt so surreal.
“That’s good. We are too. You guys have been a great crowd.” I began. “This is our first Warped Tour, so thanks for making our first show sop fun because we are having an absolute blast up here.”
The crowd cheered and applauded.
“As you have probably gathered, I’m not exactly brilliant at this whole crowd work thing, but I’m not really used to crowds as fantastic as you guys.” I said with a huge grin on my face.
The crowed roared with cheers and applause.
“So anyway, this song is our last song of the set, and if you don’t mind we would like to play r for you.” I began. “I mean, it’s not like you really have much of a choice, we pre-decided the setlist before we came on stage.”
Laughter erupted around me.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a tall, skinny guy with long dark hair cascading over his shoulders with tattoos on his arms, at least I thought they were tattoos. I couldn’t tell if it was black paint or tattoos. Either way, they looked good. He was standing backstage with four other guys who were all fitted in similar outfits. They must be the band following us. The man who caught my eye was the tallest of the group. He looked familiar but I couldn’t place it.
“This song was written by one of my favourite bands and are one of the bands who inspired me to pursue music. We hope you have had a great time here watching our set. We have been The Magpies and this is ‘Call Me’ by Blondie.
The intro started and an immense sense of joy coursed through my veins. Since I was a kid, Debbie Harry had been one of my heroes and I was so proud that we got to play one of her songs to a crowd of people.
And that was the moment that I knew we were going to make it.
Tumblr media
“Holy fucking shit guys, you crushed that.” Nick yelled out at us with an impossibly huge grin  plastered on his face. He clapped us each one-by-one as we came off of the stage. “The crowd fucking loved you guys.”
“That was kickass.” Luke exclaimed with a look that I can only describe as pure joy.
“Dude what the fuck just happened.” Johnny exclaimed.
“Fuck that was sick!” Kevin yelled directly into my ear as he swung his arm over my shoulder.
“Damn I’m pumped!” Theo laughed.
“How the fuck did we pull that off?” I laughed along with the rest of the guys.
“Because we are hot shit Bex. Hot fucking shit.” Kevin shouted back at us as he followed Nick away from the stage and towards the bus.
I paused for a moment and watched the guys, my family, walk ahead of me. I never thought anything like this could happen to us. Let alone at such a young age. I was only 18 when we did our first Warped Tour.
“Come on slow coach we want to go hang before the barbeque.” Nick called back at me. I laughed and followed after them
Every year, there was a barbeque on the first day of tour. It was mainly so that everyone in all the bands and crew could meet eachother. Kind of like an icebreaker night I guess. This was going to be the most nervous I had been so far, including the show. Because now, I had no choice but to meet all of those bands who were practically the reason that I made music. Plus, I was pretty confident in saying that meeting Oli Sykes in person might literally kill me.
The fact that we would be meeting our heroes in such a short space of time was seriously starting to make me freak out. How were we worthy of all of this?
We made it to the bus and all sat down to play some Xbox together before the barbeque. Luke had flung himself onto the black, leather L-shaped sofa opposite the door.
“I don’t give a fuck what the rest of you want, I’m playing Call Of Duty.” He said whilst signing into the game and running a hand through his short blonde hair.
“What the fuck man! We play that all the fucking time.” Johnny complained.
“Let me be play too and you can do whatever you want.” Kevin laughed whilst grabbing the second controller and joining Luke in the game.
“Fuck you guys I’m going to have a nap before we have to go.” Theo sighed with a yawn, tying his shoulder length, curly brown hair into a low bun as he walked towards his bunk.
I sat next to Luke and laughed at their childish bickering as they played their game. Johnny sat shouting commands at the two other boys.
“If you want to sit there and yell at us then you should have joined the fucking game asshole.” Kevin laughed, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose as they had begun to slip down.
“Fuck you, there’s only two controllers dipshit.” Johnny argued back.
I started to block out their arguing as I picked up the book that I had been reading and snuggled further into the corner of the sofa. I had found comfort in books during the very short time that we had been touring. Sure, performing on stage was an escape from real life, for both us and the crowd, but that was still work at the end of the day. Reading, however, had the power to transport you to a different world entirely, a different dimension even if that’s what you wanted to find. It allowed my mind to escape the cage that it was trapped in and explore the endless possibilities that life held. It allowed me to hide from my problems. To escape reality. To run and never stop running, not until I was happy, not until I was free. And that freedom was the greatest feeling in the world.
Before I knew it, my eyes had started to droop and I drifted off into a peaceful sleep. The best that I would probably have on this tour. My dreams were surprisingly pleasant as I fell deeper into my slumber before a pair of hands grasped my shoulders and began to shake me awake.
“Rebecca…. Beccaa…. Bex…. Beckyyy…..” A deep sing-song voice chanted as he shook my shoulders. My eyes fluttered awake, and leaning over me stood Theo. “There she is.” He said once my eyes had fully opened.
“What?” I mumbled as I rubbed my eyes.
“We have to go in like forty minutes, and we thought you might want to get ready.” He went on.
I stood up and stretched my arms over my head before letting out a yawn and making my way to the bathroom so that I could re-do my makeup and brush the birds nest that had formed in my hair.
I decided not to do anything crazy and to just touch up the makeup that I already had on, which was a more natural look with dark brown eyeshadow lining my upper lash line just a little bit. I tied up the top half of my long, brunette hair into a bun at the back of my head, letting some face-framing pieces hang loosely around my face. I changed into a white tank top with spaghetti straps and some black wide-leg ripped jeans with fishnets underneath. I grabbed an old, red Flash hoodie, that previously belonged to my ex but I liked the hoodie too much to return it, and tied it around my waist just in case it got chillier later in the night.
“Okay I’m ready.” I announced to the guys who were all sat on the sofa arguing over what movie to watch later. Unsurprising as they usually had this argument, then would watch a movie that wasn’t even part of the equation to begin with.
“Great, let’s go.” Nick said as he stood up, rubbing his hands together.
We all nodded in agreement and followed him out of the bus and towards the barbeque. There was an opening in the middle of where the buses were parked in which a large fire pit, surrounded by mismatched deckchairs, had been set up. The barbeque itself was positioned next to a staff bus, that the Warped Tour management team were staying in. They were the ones who essentially ran the tour and wanted to ensure that it went as smoothly as possible.
Straight away, a British accent caught my attention as five guys started approaching us. “Hey! You guys must be the Magpies.” One of the men asked us with a huge grin on his face.
Holy fucking shit. Danny Worsnop from Asking Alexandria was talking to us. THE Danny Worsnop from THE Asking Alexandria was talking to us. Us? We were nobodies here. He fucking knew who we were. Holy fucking shit I must still be dreaming.
“Yep that’s us.” Johnny said with a smile on his face, sticking out his arm to shake Danny’s hand. “Don’t worry, you don’t have to introduce yourselves, we are big fans, Becca especially. But I’m Johnny and I’m the bass player, this dumbass is Theo our drummer, Luke and Kevin here are our guitar players, and this shy bitch is Becca, our singer.” Johnny introduced. We each raised our hands in a wave when Johnny said our names.
“It’s so nice to meet you all. It’s about time a new band joined the lineup.” Ben laughed.
“Well, the Black Veil Brides guys are new here.” Cam said.
“Yeah, obviously, but I mean a band we haven’t met before.” Ben laughed at his bandmate and rolled his eyes at Cam playfully.
“We toured with them last year for a while. They’re great guys.” James said to the rest of us.
“Hey, you should totally meet them later if you’re up for it.” Ben enthusiastically suggested.
“Yeah, totally.” Theo said with a smile. “But let’s eat first, I’m fucking starving.”
“Agreed.” Danny laughed. We all started walking towards the barbeque and Ben fell into step with me. We fell into easy conversation. I could tell immediately that we were going to be good friends.
“So how did your first show go?” Ben asked.
“It went fucking amazingly. We’ve never played to a crowd that big before, and they actually seemed to enjoy our set which was fucking brilliant.” I gushed.
“Yeah, I caught some songs towards the end of your set. You guys fucking crushed it. Andy said he saw the last few songs and thought you guys were pretty cool.” He said.
“Andy?” I asked.
“Yeah. Oh shit you haven’t met him yet. He’s the singer in Black Veil Brides. He’s super cool, I think you’d like him.” Ben explained.
“Cool. It’s weird having this many people on a tour together.” I continued. “It’s only ever really been us supporting another band. Never any more than that.”
“I remember when we started out like that. We thought we’d never make it, but look where we are now.” He laughed. “Once you get used to it, it gets less weird.”
“Yeah, I guess so.” I replied.
Before I even realised it, we had reached the barbeque. People from various different bands and their crew mingled about as they all socialised with eachother. It seemed as though most of the people here already knew eachother from previous tours.
Ben introduced me to his friends on the tour, which was already a shock to be hanging out with Ben fucking Bruce. I tried to push my nerves down as he introduced me to the likes of Vic Fuentes, Kelin Quinn, Oli Sykes, Chris Motionless and Ricky Horror. I surprised myself with how ‘normal’ I managed to act around them. After all, it’s not every day that you meet your favourite musicians. I tried to remind myself that I would be touring with these people, so it wouldn’t be the best idea to fangirl and embarrass myself the first time I met them.
Ben and I grabbed a burger each and sat down on some of the spare deck chairs to eat them.
“Have you just put gherkins in your fucking burger?” I asked Ben in utter disbelief.
“Yep.” He grinned, popping the p. “Do you have a problem with that?”
“Of course I do that’s disgusting! I don’t think we can be friends after this.” I gasped at him in mock offense.
“Wow. You’re one of those?” Ben chuckled.
“One of what?” I laughed at him.
“Someone who doesn’t have taste.” He laughed.
I threw my dirty napkin at him in response.
“EW!” He screamed dramatically, throwing his own napkin right back at me.
I laughed hysterically at him.
“Okay. I’m glad you two are having fun, but I was sitting there, so if you could just move that would be great.” A deep voice tore through the bliss that I was experiencing with Ben.
“Oh fuck off Ronnie, we both know you weren’t sat here.” Ben rolled his eyes.
“Seriously, Bruce? You’re gonna start shit on the first day of tour?” The man, who I assumed was called Ronnie sighed back.
“Just fuck off Ronnie, the no one has to start shit.” Ben said through gritted teeth.
“Seriously man, why do you have to make everything so damn hard all the time!” Ronnie shouted at Ben.
“I’m not the problem here man.” Ben raised his hands in mock surrender.
“Take your pretty friend here, and go suck each other’s faces somewhere else jackass!” Ronnie yelled.
“Woah, woah.” Ben started, raising his voice at Ronnie, “We both know that’s not what was happening here okay. Let’s just move on.”
“Move.” Ronnie said through gritted teeth.
“No.” Ben said with a laugh, as he leaned back in the chair and crossed his legs, relaxing further.
Before I could even register what was happening, Ronnie lunged forward and shoved Ben out of the chair backwards. I jumped up and pushed Ronnie backwards so that he couldn’t lunge towards Ben anymore. Instead, he only stumbled back a few steps before he shoved me backwards too, nocking my beer out of my hand, making it spill all over me. I put my hands below me to try and stop the fall, when I felt a sharp pain in my hand. I lifted my hand up to get a look at it, only to be greeted with a shard of glass poking out the palm of my hand and blood dripping from the wound.
I winced as I slowly tried to pull the broken glass out of my hand, completely oblivious to the fact that Johnny and Luke had ran over and dragged Ronnie away before punching him in the face, knocking him to the floor. The shard of glass wasn’t anything massive, but once it was out of my hand, more blood pooled in the palm of my hand.
From behind me, I felt a pair of arms snake underneath my armpits and begin to pull me up to my feet. Once I was standing again, I turned to see who had lifted me up. I was greeted by a chest clad in a black t-shirt with the Batman logo on. The shirt hung slightly loosely on the skinny frame of the person, who I assumed was a man, who now stood in front of me. I had to crane my neck to see his face, which was obscured by long black locks of hair. I could make out an array of tattoos on his arms that I hadn’t noticed before.
Holy shit. This was the guy that I had literally ran into before my set earlier.
“You okay? That looks deep.” He said, concern plastered all over his face as he took my hand in his much bigger one.
“Y-y-yeah.” I stuttered out, still in shock from what had just happened.
“Come on, let’s get you cleaned up.” He led me gently away from where Johnny and Luke were being held back by Asking Alexandria and Ronnie was being dragged away by Jacky Vincent and Ryan Seaman.
The man led me to a tour bus where we met another man, who also had long black hair.
“Hey man, what the fuck?” The new man said with an incredulous look on his face as we got closer to the bus.
“Ronnie is back on his dumbass shit.” The first man, who was still holding my elbow, said in reply.
“Of course he is.” The second man scoffed while going into the tour bus, holding open the door for myself and the first man.
Their tour bus looked pretty much the same as ours did, except there was lots of makeup all over the place and various items that looked like they were made of leather. It was messier than ours too which I liked. It made me feel better about how I left things when I was getting ready.
“This is Jake.” The first man gestured to the second man. “I’m not too sure where the others are though? Probably still at the barbeque. It’s Becca right?”
“Oh, yeah. That’s me.” I said quietly with a weak laugh.
He stared at me for a beat as I looked at him expectantly. It felt like he was looking right into my soul with those blue eyes of his.
“Who are you?” I asked timidly.
“Me?” He pointed at his chest.
I nodded my head. I could tell he wasn’t very good at talking.
“I’m Andy.” He said with a beautiful smile. “Pleasure to meet you.”

Thunder rumbled in the distance as rain ran in rivulets down the large bay window of the three story modern home that was nestled in the outskirts of Los Angeles. I wrapped the thin blanket tighter around my shoulders, gingerly sipping from a steaming cup of herbal tea as I stood gazing out at the dark scenery before me. Lightning flashed periodically, creating a brief view of the back yard and privacy trees that shrouded the house.
Upon hearing a comotion from the direction of the kitchen, I half turned looking over my shoulder, a lock of my long hair creating a curtain to shield one side of my face. I meandered into the large kitchen, stopping at the island to look around. The center of the island held a fake floral arrangement I had made along with the lemon chiffon candle I left burning. Nothing else was out of the ordinary until I got to the butcher block and noticed one of the larger kitchen knives missing.
I tossed the throw blanket on the counter along with my tea cup and the cool air hit my exposed shoulders and arms of the thin tank top and lounge pants I wore. I wasn't thrilled about my attire, rarely showing skin because more often than not it showed a stomach that was far from flat and weight that was far from flattering. Thankfully my house mates didn't care at all. They treated me like I was one of them, one of the guys. Except for Noah. He always treated me like a woman, like I was fragile. Dainty, even.
"Jolly?", I called, as I made my way through the house. The livingroom was empty and looked lived in. Throw pillows everywhere, laptops next to drinks on the coffee table and a bowl of half eaten popcorn on the end table. "Nick?". I stopped and listened, the only audible sound was my own labored breathing as my heart started racing.
I slowly made my way to the staircase and nervously glanced up. Where the fuck was everyone? I slowly made my way up, my fingers tracing the polished wood banister and stopped at the end of the dark hallway that faced the east wing. Nick and Nicholas's bedrooms were on the left side of the hallway separated by a Jack & Jill bathroom. Across the hall was Matt's bedroom and a guest room.
Glancing in the opposite direction, I made my way towards the west wing where Jolly, Noah and my bedrooms were. Mine was at the very end next to a spare room that Noah used as the soundproof studio and the bathroom was on the other side. I stopped, noticing just how dark the hallway was. My nervousness was giving way to slight fear. I hated being alone like this, especially in a house this big with no one in sight. The soft sound of a door opening caught my attention and I turned to see Noah's bedroom door ajar, a flash of light telling me it was still storming outside.
I slowly started to make my way to his room, opening the door and I would have shook my head in amusement at the unmade bed and clothes tossed over the back of his gaming chair but the empty feeling that washed over me had me pausing in the center of the room. I looked around but didn't touch anything except for the katana that caught my eye. It was positioned on the wall next to Noah's desk but it hung so high up that my fingertips barely grazed the sheath.
Without warning an arm encircled my waist and a hand clad in a tight leather glove clamped over my mouth. I screamed into the material, the sound muffled. My hands slapped against the wall in front of me for purchase before I was roughly spun around. The same leather-clad hand went back over my mouth and I stared up at Noah in shock. His dark hair fell over lust-filled eyes, pupils blown wide. The black long sleeved shirt he wore was pulled up his forearms revealing the intricate lines and colors of his tattoos. He shoved a muscular thigh between my own, his body pinning me up against the wall.
"You fucking tease. You've been running around this goddamn house in these tiny tank tops with your tits half spiling out", Noah whispered harshly, eyes raking over me like a lovers hand. My cunt clenched and liquid heat filled the thin panties I wore. I swallowed and tried to say something but Noah's hand slipped from my mouth to wrap around my neck, long fingers gently squeezing. Noah's dominant personality is what always drew me to him.
"Noah...", I said hoarsely. "Please". He tipped his head back and laughed mechanically before looking down at me and raising his free hand, the large kitchen knife glinting under the flash of lightning. I wanted to scream, to kick him, punch him, anything. As his lips captured mine in a brusing kiss my decision to fight quickly dissolved. His tongue pushed uninvitedly past my lips as his gloved hand grabbed a handful of my hair to anchor me to him.
Noah suddenly broke the kiss to place open mouthed kisses down the coloumn of my throat and the first pornographic moan escaped my body. I felt a hand shove its way past the waistband of my lounge pants, shoving them down my thighs along wih my panties.
Something cold and sharp touhed my thigh and I whimpered. Noah's gloved hand slapped back over my mouth to silence me. "You need to learn to shut the fuck up. The guys don't need to know what I do to you. Unless you want them to hear you, is that it? Want them to know who fucks that tight cunt of yours? Well, you have to earn this cock and seeing as how you've paraded yourself around the house like a fucking slut, you'll have to wait", Noah said, the knife blade suddenly tracing over my nipples that had pebbled under the thin fabric of my tank.
The sound of material being ripped was deafening as Noah sliced through my tank and tossed the scraps aside before sinking to his knees. The anticipation alone had me trembling as Noah gave no warning as his lips closed around my swollen clit while two long gloved fingers sank inside me. I threw my head back against the wall, screaming out my release as my thighs clamped tighter around his head. Noah suddenly lifted his head, eyes gleaming as he cut and ripped the lounge pants and my panties from my body leaving me naked before him. His dark eyes devoured me like a hungry animal before he stood to his full height and crashed his lips to mine yet again.
I moaned into the kiss, my hands shooting to his shortened locks, tugging on the strands. Noah groweled and tore himself from me and roughly spun me, shoving a hand between my shoulder blades to bend me over his desk. Papers, books, his phone, candy dish and guitar picks crashed the floor but before I could say or do anything, I felt the head of his cock brush through the dripping folds of my cunt and suddenly fill me in one hard thrust. My back bowed and I screamed but Noah's hand pushed me back down as the real onslaught to my pussy began.
"Fucking stay still", Noah groweled, a foot shoving my legs farther apart. His hands griped my hips so hard I was sure there would be bruising as he bullied his cock inside my walls, his cock head pummeling my cervix.
"Noah...you're too big...it wont all fit...stop", I begged. Noah slapped my ass cheek, shifted and his cock sunk inside me the rest of the way. I screamed as another orgasm ripped through me. My release ran down my thighs and Noah's cock as he started ploughing into my cervix.
"God, I love this tight pussy...its mine, all mine...take it...take what I give you...let me destroy this cunt...", Noah breathed in between thrusts. Every hard motion had me sliding up the desk only for his hands to roughly impale me back on his cock. "Look at you...dripping for me...all fucked out and cock drunk...not a thought in that empty head of yours...fuck...Im gonna come soon...", Noah whispered roughly as his hand snaked between us to rub circles over my clit.
My body exploded stealing my breath as my overworked cunt clamped down on the massive club that was stretching, filling and ruining me. My legs could no longer hold me up and as I tried to sink to my knees, Noah hauled me back up to his chest, his hand holding me by my hair to turn my head and slip his tongue past my lips. His thrusts became irratic and he suddenly pulled his lips from mine and tipped his head back onto his shoulders before letting loose an animalistic shout that resounded around his bedroom. I felt his cock pulse inside me and heat fill my lower stomach as he painted my cervix over and over again with thick ropes of come.
Noah let go of me entirely as I slumped over his desk again, trying to catch my breath. Arms gently lifted my body bridal style to his bed and a warm sheet placed over my rapidly cooling body. The bed dipped a moment later as Noah climbed in behind me, encircling his arms and legs around me like a cage. He and I were asleep within minutes as the low rumble of thunder still resounded in the distance...

The Promise-Andy Biersack
Tumblr media Tumblr media
*gif created by me. feel free to use, simply give credit*
Pairings: Andy Biersack x OFC
Warnings: smut, language, angst(lots of it), a smidge of fluff, mentions of abuse, alcoholism.
Summary: High school was supposed to be some of the best years of a teenager's life; except for River. Those four years were hell, the only one that got her through it was her best friend, Andy. She thought he'd be by her side after graduation but after one night of giving each other something so treasured, life took both of them in different directions.
Almost ten years later, River and Andy meet again in a way neither of them expected.
Authors Note: This is my first time writing Andy Biersack but I'm very excited! As of now, it is a one-shot but might consider continuing it if people are interested!

“You don’t ever have to be alone, River,” his soothing voice cooed in my ear as he cupped my cheek.
I looked up at him through the tears and choked on a sob. “Promise you’ll stay with me?”
He smiled that smile I fell in love with years ago. “I promise.”
The sounds of yelling pulled me out of my thoughts in time to see a group of teenagers running past me on the street, youthful smiles on their faces.
If they only knew what the future for them held.
With the setting sun grazing over the streets of Hollywood as people made their way home from school or work, I was headed to work with my camera bag hanging on my shoulder and phone in my hand. I had the Maps app up giving me directions where I needed to go. It was going to be a long night at work for this music video shoot and I was already on my third cup of coffee, the feeling of caffeine still not flowing through my system.
I spent the morning and afternoon bouncing between different shoots from clients and when I remembered I had booked this job taking pictures of a band's music video tonight, I cut the last photoshoot short by only a few minutes to make it in time.
The company that booked me for this video shoot, Industrialism Films, didn’t tell me much about who the band was. They just told me to show up at seven p.m. and start working as soon as I was set up. It was going to be an all-night event and I needed to make sure to get shots of everyone in the band.
Hence the third cup of coffee.
It also hadn't helped that my mind had been plagued with memories of high school even ten years after graduation. Usually, I was great at pushing away those awful memories but the last few nights, those images of my past life kept clawing at me, dragging me down to the depths. I spent so long trying to crawl out of it and breathe that fresh air I desperately craved those four years of hell.
The bullying.
Eating alone in the bathroom stalls.
The feeling of being so alone, I cried myself to sleep every night.
The desperation of my home being a haven away from the mocking at school, only to have it worse there.
Every single day of high school was miserable; except for one person.
Him.
My best friend and first everything; Andy.
Until he left you to deal with the beatings alone so he could succeed with his band.
Screwing my eyes shut tight to forget the sound of my dad's skin on mine, I turned the corner, and a large church and steps came into view. There were ropes blocked off around the perimeter, keeping outsiders away. As I reached a security guard, I pulled out my I.D. to show him.
“River Murray. I’m the photographer,” I said.
The guard glanced down to my I.D. then to the list in his hands and with a gruff of response, he let me walk past the ropes.
“Have a great night,” I mumbled under my breath.
Bodies were moving everywhere, and people were screaming over one another, but I was able to find the director of the shoot pretty quickly. He showed me a trailer where I could set up my things and once I was settled, I could start working. They didn’t care what pictures I shot, just as long as I got a lot of the band.
“Who’s the band?” I asked Vincent, the director while setting my camera bag on the table inside the trailer.
“Bloody veils? No that’s not right,” he scratched at the beard on his chin, trying to remember. “I don’t know. It's some metal band. I’ve only met them once before but they’re nice guys. It’s for their song Saviour II.”
I nodded. “So I have free reign around here? As long as I don’t get in the shot right?”
Vincent smiled. “You’ve worked on music video shoots before?”
“Once or twice,” I shrugged. “I worked with Bad Omens on one and some local bands another time.”
“Bad Omens?” He whistled low. “They’re one of the hottest bands right now. I’m surprised you aren't working with them.”
“I dated their current photographer for a few months. He set up the shoot with them to help build up my portfolio,” I shifted on my feet, suddenly feeling uncomfortable divulging too much about my life to this stranger.
A loud crackle and static came through Vincent’s radio. “Veil Brid-. They’re here.”
My heart stuttered in my chest for the briefest of moments but told myself to take a breath. It couldn’t be him; the radio cut off before finishing who was here, I was just in my head.
“You’re beautiful, River,” he mused while kissing every inch of my bruised skin.
Vincent clapped his hands which caused me to jump out of my thoughts and blinked wildly.
“Alright, I’ve got to meet the boys and show them their trailers to get ready. Head out whenever you’re ready. There’s a radio for you on the table in case we need to communicate with you tonight.”
“Sure,” I did my best to nod with a smile.
Once alone, I sat on the couch in the trailer and went about assembling my camera, doing a few test shots. The past kept trying to crawl its way back into the present, doing its best to render me useless, but I wouldn’t allow it.
Well, I tried to anyway.
“You’re worthless.”
“Piece of shit daughter. I should have dropped you off with your mother years ago.”
“The only thing you’re good for is being a punching bag. But you can’t even do that right.”
A swift kick to my ribs sent me flying across the room.
Choking on a sob, I dug my palms into my eyes hoping that would force out those thoughts.
“I haven’t thought of Dad in years but now he’s overtaking every part of me again,” I sighed to myself.
Not feeling quite ready to leave the trailer yet, I fixed myself in the reflection of the mirror by tying my long black hair into a tight French braid and cleaned up my makeup a bit. The scar underneath my right eye was faint but visible to this day almost eleven years later. No matter how much makeup I wore to cover it, it was still a reminder of not only the best day of my life but also the worst day.
“River, we need you on set.”
“Be right there,” I said into the radio before clicking it to the belt of my jeans, and with my camera around my neck, I bounded down the steps of the trailer.
By now the sun had set and the moon shone overhead so I stopped in my tracks for a moment to take a few shots of it before walking into the church where there was a large gathering of people. On the altar of the church were a set up of drums, guitars, an orchestra, and a microphone stand.
After snapping a picture of it, I turned on my heels when I heard Vincent call my name.
“River, I’d like you to meet the band. I figured you’d want to get some pictures of them before we start shooting.”
I looked over the picture I had just taken of the drum set, something vaguely familiar about the logo, but then glanced up at the five men standing in front of me; the one in the middle with the bright gray eyes immediately catching my gaze.
My breath caught in my throat as I nearly tripped over my feet when his jaw went slack, the familiarity slapping both of us in the face.
“River?”
The richness of his voice brought back all of those other memories I did my best to push away. I stood frozen, unable to move or say anything, while my brain tried to catch up on the man that stood in front of me; the one I hadn’t seen in ten years.
The one that broke his promise.
“Andy.”
Tumblr media
Highschool. Senior year. One week before graduation.
I pounded on the bedroom window as the rain assaulted me with no end in sight, drenching me from head to toe. The rain mixed with the salty tears that rolled down my cheeks as I continued to beat my palm against the glass while standing on the makeshift ladder we made of three cinder blocks. I needed a way to reach his window in times like this. There was no way I could walk through his front door looking like this where his parents could see and ask questions.
“Damn it, Andy! Wake up!” I cried, still pounding on the window.
The storm was a constant onslaught of rain, lightning, and thunder, so I knew it was hard for him to hear me. But that didn’t stop me.
Finally, after a few minutes of crying and pounding on the window, Andy’s sleep-filled eyes stared at me through the curtain covering his window. I saw all the emotions run through his intense gaze.
Confusion.
Realization.
And when he gave my face one long once over, the emotion that crossed the soft features of his face, I knew there was no way I’d be able to excuse my dad’s actions this time.
Anger.
“River,” his voice instantly soothing me when he opened the window, helping me inside. “What the fuck happened?”
My body convulsed in shivers and I wrapped my arms around me to help keep some of my body heat.
“I–I-I’m fi-fine,” my teeth chattered loudly in the quiet room.
“Bullshit,” Andy spat while running a hand through his long black hair. “You’ve got a nasty cut under your eye and your lip is busted.”
Now with the rain not washing away the blood, I could taste the bitter crimson on my lips and felt it pooling in my eye. I didn’t have to look at myself to know that the cut was deep and needed stitches.
Typically, my dad made sure to hit me in places that I could easily hide. But tonight was different. I told him that once I graduated, I had plans to leave Ohio and move to North Carolina to start over; fresh.
“Not with my money,” he spat.
Literally.
When I told him I didn’t need his money and that I had other plans, he snorted while stubbing out his cigarette.
“With that little boyfriend of yours? Sweety, he’ll drop you the second you follow him to that big fancy city.”
“Fuck you!” I screamed. “You know nothing about Andy!”
My cursing set him off and that's when the first slap happened, causing my busted lip. This time, I fought back, but in the end, it didn’t matter. My dad’s strength overpowered me as he threw me across the floor, face skidding along some of the broken glass from the cup I had thrown at him before.
Hence the nasty cut underneath my eye.
Andy’s sighing brought me back and I then noticed he was shirtless, wearing nothing but a pair of boxers. I’d seen him like this many times before since we were best friends but something about seeing him like this tonight, made my insides burn low.
I’d had a crush on him since freshman year when he stepped between me and Alexa Dread from taking my camera and breaking it; again. Ever since that day, Andy and I were inseparable. We knew everything about each other and we always confided in each other about our feelings.
Just not for each other.
My feelings for him began to grow with each passing day but I had to watch him date girls that weren’t me with a fake smile because I needed to be happy for my best friend.
He’d never feel the same way and that was something I came to terms with a while ago.
My eyes grazed over the scattered ink on his arms, the random designs always taking my breath away. He was eighteen so was able to get the tattoos without the permission of his parents.
I, however, was one month shy of turning eighteen and I’d been counting down the days. Ready to run from all of this the minute the clock struck midnight.
“Fuck, River. You’re shaking,” Andy’s hand reached for me, leading me to the adjacent bathroom off of his bedroom.
“I d-didn’t know wh-where el-se to go-go,” I did my best to speak over my body shaking.
He hushed me with a gentle squeeze of my hand. “You know you can always come here. You always have a place here, Riv.”
I swallowed thickly at his nickname for me.
“You need to shower but I want to clean that cut first,” he motioned towards the soaked clothes that were clinging to me like a second skin. “Take them off.”
I stilled at his words. While Andy had no problem walking around in his underwear around me, I, on the other hand, could not muster up that kind of courage.
“I can’t,” I shook my head.
His bright eyes narrowed through the thickness of his black hair. “Either you take those clothes off or I will. The last thing you need right now is to catch pneumonia.”
Gnawing on the inside of my cheek, I still didn’t make a move, which caused Andy to sigh.
“I’ll turn around so you can undress, and keep your bra and underwear on. I’ll keep my face on yours when I clean your cut,” he reassured me with a gentle smile.
“Okay,” I said finally.
Before he turned around, Andy turned on the shower so the steam could fill the bathroom and keep me warm while he cleaned the cut. Staying true to his word, he turned his back to me, and as quick as I could, I ripped off the wet clothes. The sound it made falling to the tiled floor made me cringe and I covered myself with my arms.
My bra and underwear were not cute, nothing he’d seen his past girlfriends wear, so to say I was embarrassed was an understatement. A simple pair of black cotton panties and a red bra.
“You can turn around,” I said softly.
Andy slowly turned around and kept his eyes straight ahead on my face as he motioned to the closed toilet seat. While I sat, I watched his back muscles contort as he rummaged around underneath the sink for the first aid kit.
“Won't your parents wonder why you’re taking a shower at two in the morning?” I asked.
He snorted his laughter, still rummaging underneath the sink. “They would never question why their teenage son would be taking a shower in the middle of the night.”
“Huh?” I said, utterly confused.
Andy glanced up at me from his kneeling position with his brows raised and a playful smirk. Suddenly, it clicked on what he meant.
“Oh, right,” I muttered low; the image of his hand around his cock pumping it slowly then fast replaying in my mind like a movie.
I’d never seen him do that but I’d thought about it a handful of times.
“This might sting a bit,” Andy said, kneeling in front of me now; his eyes remaining on my face.
“I’ve had worse,” I tried to joke but the stern look from him made my shoulders fall and I muttered an apology.
“You need to leave home, River,” he said while soaking a cotton pad in peroxide.
I shook my head. “And go where? I have no money and no other relatives that will take me in.”
“You know my parents will let you stay in the guest room for as long as you need.”
I snorted. “Right. I don’t think your girlfriend would like the idea of me staying down the hall from you.”
Andy’s eyes snapped away from the cotton ball to my face. “We broke up.”
I did my best to keep a straight face when my heart nearly soared out of my chest.
“When?”
“The other day. She wanted to have sex and I said no so she broke up with me,” his voice told me that he wasn't upset about it.
My brows furrowed together. “You said no to sex with Ashley Jenks? You’re not sick are you?”
I made a play of touching his forehead with the back of my hand, our laughter echoing in the small bathroom.
“No,” he grabbed my hand, not letting it go right away. “I’m not going to give my virginity to the first girl that throws themself at me. Or in this case, the fourth.”
I blinked. “You’re still a virgin?”
Andy finally let go of my hand and I frowned at the loss of warmth.
“I know it’s shocking but call me old school. I’m waiting until I find the right person.”
Our eyes met in an intense battle of who would look away first but neither of us was faltering.
“I am too,” I said quietly.
For the briefest of moments, I saw his eyes widen before he played it off by holding up the soaked cotton ball.
“I’m sorry for the sting.”
I urged him on with a nod and didn’t even flinch when the cool liquid met my skin finally as Andy cleaned the cut on my cheek. Silence fell between us as he then cleaned the dried blood on my face and when his warm breath fanned over the cut to dry it, I nearly melted into him; skin rising with goosebumps.
“I don’t think you’ll need stitches,” he murmured while looking closely at the cut.
I sucked in a breath when I realized his lips were mere meters from mine and dared a glance down to his full lips. They were practically begging to be kissed and I wanted to be the one to do it.
“I’ll put a bandaid on it after my shower,” I said.
With me still sitting on the toilet and Andy kneeling in front of me, I spread my legs wide so he was able to get as close as he could to cleaning the cut. Now that he was finished, it was as if he had no idea where to place his hands so they rested on the wall behind me, his long body leaning over me.
“You’re not going back tonight, River,” his voice was deep as he stared down at me.
With shaking fingers, I brushed away the strands of hair from his face so I could see those gray eyes.
“I know.”
I tracked the movement of his Adam's apple as it bobbed low when he swallowed, his eyes finally grazing lower than my face. Down to the swell of my breasts and the slight pudge of skin around my stomach.
I wasn't the skinniest of girls, another reason why I was bullied, but Andy never commented on it.
“You should get in the shower,” his voice broke the trance between us. “Your lips are blue.”
When his finger ghosted over my mouth, I let out a soft moan desperately wanting to feel the pressure of his touch everywhere.
Suddenly like a ghost, Andy had vanished from the bathroom back into his bedroom, leaving me all alone. Since the door was now shut, I rose from the toilet and stripped out of my remaining clothes.
The hot water stung like a blade against my sore skin and I groaned out in pleasure. I didn’t want to take a long shower only because the water had already been running for a while before stepping beneath it. I washed away the memories of today with Andy’s soap and wrapped a towel around me after I stepped out of the shower.
“Shit, what am I supposed to wear?” I grumbled to myself.
Slowly opening the bathroom door, the light burst into Andy’s bedroom and lit up his form lounging on his bed reading a Batman comic.
“Andy,” I said while shuffling my feet and clutching the towel close to my chest. “I don’t have any clothes.”
Setting the comic down, he hopped off the bed and went across the room, opening the drawers of his dresser to pull out a pair of boxers and a shirt.
“We’ll swing by your house at some point tomorrow to grab you some clothes. You’ll stay here for the weekend,” he said while standing in front of me.
I took the clothes with one hand. “Thank you.”
Before in the bathroom, Andy made sure not to look at the bruises covering my skin but now, he made sure to take in every single one that he could see.
The fingers imprinted around my neck.
The bruise on my shoulder, left arm, and legs.
These were the ones that he could see. The ones underneath the towel around me were worse.
His jaw ticked with the anger he so desperately tried to keep within, knowing that one outburst from him would cause me to fall into myself.
“It’s not as bad as it looks,” I whispered.
Andy’s eyes were dark but his voice was gentle. “Let me see all of it.”
I vigorously shook my head. “I’m fine, Andy. I just want to get dressed and go to sleep.”
All at once, I felt my body being pressed up against the wall and the towel falling to the floor at my feet. Andy’s gaze ignited as he pressed his hips against mine causing a shockwave throughout my body. His clothed cock brushed along my bare clit and I let out a moan while my eyes fluttered shut.
“Riv.”
My eyes snapped open when I felt his hand cup my cheek. Tears burned at the corners and he gently wiped them away with the pad of his thumb.
“Please,” I begged. “Don’t look. They’re ugly. I’m ugly.”
The burning anger in his iris softened at my cries but still kept me locked in place against the wall with his hips.
“You’re beautiful, angel,” he admitted with a steady voice.
Angel.
It was Andy’s nickname for me ever since sophomore year when I dressed up as a fallen angel for Halloween. We were too old to go trick or treating but not cool enough for parties so we both decided to get dressed up and spend the night in his basement getting drunk.
It was also the night I had my first kiss. We were sitting on the couch in his basement, a few drinks in, and I had my head resting on Andy’s shoulder trying so hard to stay awake for the horror movie he put on. When I looked up at him, I was shocked to see that he was already staring at me and the next thing I knew, his lips were on mine. It was a short kiss, over before I could enjoy it.
“Shit, sorry,” he apologized. “I drank too much.”
We never talked about that kiss after that night, both of us burying it away; much to my dismay.
“I’m not,” I cast my eyes away from him.
His warm breath fanned across the crook of my neck as he peppered kisses on the bruises there.
“Let me show you.”
Yet again our eyes locked with intensity, so fierce it set the space around us on fire. Andy’s hand moved down my cheek, over my neck, and the space between my breasts. I bit back a moan when his finger and thumb rolled one of my perked nipples between them.
“Will you let me show you?” He asked, nuzzling his face in my neck.
I licked my lips. “What about waiting for the right person?”
“She’s already in front of me,” Andy admitted before crashing his lips to mine.
My body had come alive with his touch and everything I wanted since freshman year was coming to fruition. Andy wanted me just as much as I wanted him. Our lips synced together perfectly, never missing a beat, as he lifted me and carried me to his bed.
That night, we both gave each other something we held so dear to ourselves. Afterward, as we lay together with our naked bodies tangled underneath his sheets, Andy pressed a kiss to my forehead when I cried in his chest, scared to go back home once Monday morning came.
“I hate being alone there. I’m afraid he’ll go too far and kill me.”
“You don’t ever have to be alone, River,” his soothing voice cooed in my ear as he cupped my cheek.
I looked up at him through the tears and choked on a sob. “Promise you’ll stay with me?”
He smiled that smile I fell in love with years ago. “I promise.”
Andy lied.
Four days later, he packed up his entire life and moved to Hollywood without a simple goodbye.
Tumblr media
PRESENT DAY.
“River?”
I blinked while shaking my head, trying to gather my bearings again. The past had sucked me in whole, forcing me to relive that night over again. I couldn't believe Any was standing in front of me again after all these years, the moonlight breaking through the stained glass windows of the church bathed him in a glow made for kings. Even though he looked different than the last time I’d seen him, with more tattoos and shorter hair; tonight he had a small white patch in his hair. I could vaguely make out the old lip-piercing hole and I remembered how the cool metal tasted against my tongue when we kissed.
He, along with the guys around him, were dressed in their outfits for the video, so I was able to see the tattoos that littered his neck, chest, and stomach. However, those eyes were still the same.
Those haunting gray eyes stared into the soul I previously just captured again as he waited for me to say something.
Do I play it off like I don't remember him?
Right, like you could forget the guy that took your virginity.
Do I ignore him and go about work like a professional?
How is ignoring the person you’re supposed to be working with professional?
I was starting to grow tired of the little voice inside my head.
Vincent glanced between Andy and me, pointing a finger. “Do you two know each other?”
“We went to high school together,” Andy answered before I could.
“No shit,” Vincent chuckled. “What a small world.”
“Right,” I snorted venomously.
Andy’s eyes sliced into me but I ignored him by giving him my back and looking over at Vincent.
“I’ll get shots of them later. Radio me when you’re ready.”
When he nodded, I took that as my cue to leave although I made it only a few steps before my name was called from behind.
“You’re not even going to say hello, Riv.”
I spun so fast on my heels, the end of my braid snapped to the other side of my face and I pointed a finger at Andy.
“I’m not doing this with you. Not here and especially not right now. Both of us have a job to do. Let’s keep it that way.”
One of the guys next to Andy watched us carefully and I could practically see the light click on above his head.
“Wait, River as in River from high school,” the guy said.
“Yeah, Jinxx,” Andy answered before taking a step towards me.
I took a large step away from him. “I already said I’m here to do my job, that’s it.”
Before he could try and sweet talk his way into my life, just like that night, I turned back around and marched out of the church, calling back that I was going to take some shots of it.
Once outside, I let the cold night air brush the hot tears away from my face as my heart nearly burst out from my chest, sobs echoing throughout the vastness of the sky.
No. This cannot be happening.
For the last nine years, I spent my life crying over that man, wondering what I did wrong that night to make him leave me behind. He promised to stay with me but still left.
Was I not good enough? Worthy of being by his side?
Nine years I spent stuck in Ohio wondering why with the bitter taste of Hennessy, drinking away my sorrows and regrets. It wasn’t until a year ago when I finally questioned myself in the reflection of the bottle that I took whatever money I had left from selling my father's house after he died to move across the county to California.
The last year I spent building myself up to the women I was now and creating my career empire with my photography. I refused to let the past crumble everything I worked so hard for; no matter how good he looked now or how bad I wanted to taste his lips again.
“Get a hold of yourself,” I seethed. “He left you.”
The sound of music from inside blasted through the walls of the church letting me know that they started shooting and choosing not to dwell on Andy showing back up into my life, I took a few shots of the church outside. Then I reluctantly walked back inside knowing I couldn’t avoid him forever and decided to get some pictures of the guys.
Andy’s eyes quickly found me but I did my best to ignore him by hiding behind my camera. His voice erupted through the speakers and it brought back every single time during music class in high school when he would sing in front of the class or solo for me in his bedroom.
My bottom lip trembled as I blew out a shaky breath while walking over to where Vincent sat, just as he yelled cut.
“Did you get your shots?” He wondered.
Clicking back through all of the pictures, I pursed my lips at the realization that while I got great shots of the other band members, I hadn’t gotten any shots of Andy mostly because I avoided him at all costs.
“I need some of Andy,” I said with a long breath.
“No problem. I think we got everything we need with this scene. Next up is the scene of him sitting in the pew alone so you can get them now,” Vincent patted my shoulder as he stood from the chair.
“Lovely,” I grumbled while walking back towards the altar of the church directly in Andy’s path.
He was talking with one of his band members but when he caught sight of me, he met me halfway.
“Riv,” he began.
“Don’t,” I seethed, walking past him. “You lost the right to call me that when you left me.”
“Can I explain please?” Andy asked while reaching for my elbow.
I yanked it out of his grasp, ready to move to the opposite side of the church when his voice halted me.
“Angel.”
Whirling around so fast, I nearly dropped my camera to the ground when I pushed him in his chest.
“Don’t you fucking ever call me that again!” I nearly screamed. “You don’t have the right to call me that.”
Anytime I heard that name, all I would think about was our first kiss and the night we slept together.
His eyes softened, almost begging me to listen. “Please, angel. I have to explain-.”
“NO!” My voice echoed inside the church. “There’s nothing to explain, Andy. Anything that comes out of your mouth is a lie.”
“Do you guys need a moment?” Vincent’s voice carried over to us.
“No!”
“Yes!”
Andy and I both said at the same time.
“You know what, I think a break is a good idea. Let’s take thirty and come back,” Vincent directed to everyone with a wave of a finger.
Having every intention of spending that thirty minutes alone in my trailer, I brushed past Andy and nearly tripped over my feet as I ran down the concrete steps, the vision of my solace getting closer and closer. Just before I could slam the door shut behind me, it closed on a body with an audible ouch.
“Leave me alone, Andy!” I yelled.
He stood tall in the small confines of the trailer, his broad chest heaving with each deep breath from chasing after me. His bare chest underneath his opened jacket and for a second, I allowed myself to study those visible tattoos. The eagle on his sternum, the sword in the crease of his stomach, the tiger neck to it. I couldn’t make out the tattoo across his neck or chest but I could make out the 26 in a hear on his neck.
“Not until you let me explain,” he said.
I grabbed the end of my braid, ripping it out so my dark hair could fall around my shoulders.
“I swear to fucking God himself, if you say explain one more time I’m going to-.”
“Do what, angel?” He raised a brow while resting his hands on his hips.
I pointed to the door. “Get out.”
Andy didn’t move.
“You're unbelievable,” I growled while making a beeline for the door instead, only to have him block my path.
“I had to leave.”
I blinked up at him, mouth agape. “What?”
We were so close now, his familiar scent encasing me with its vise grip, and my mind kept screaming at me to create space.
He ran a hand over his short hair and took a deep breath. “I had to leave. That Monday morning after you left, I got a call from an agent in Los Angeles offering me a small gig in a commercial. It's what I needed to get my foot in the door, to get Black Veil Brides started, so I took it. But I had to be out there the day after they called me.”
“So you left me behind, without a single fucking goodbye,” I sneered, pushing past him to the other side of the trailer.
“I didn’t have a choice!” Andy’s voice was raised now, it echoing off the walls.
“You could have told me! You know I would have followed you!” I shot back.
He began pacing the narrow space while having his hands on his hips. “I couldn’t, River. Not without knowing that everything would have paid off in the end. I couldn’t have you with me while I suffered.”
I chuckled dryly. “Oh but suffering back home alone was fine with you?”
“I wanted to reach out and check on how you were doing,” his shoulders slumped.
“My number has been the same,” I held out my hands. “I lived in the same fucking house for nine years after you left. You could have come to see me.”
When he said nothing, his lips unmoving, I grew angrier and pushed his chest, ten years of holding everything in finally exploding.
“You lied!”
Push.
“You left me with him to beat on me for another three fucking years until he died!”
Push.
“You made me a promise and broke it!”
I cried with one final push, causing Andy to fall back onto the couch, stormy eyes staring up at me. Tears were streaming down my face and my eyes burned with anger for the man in front of me.
“You told me you would never leave me,” I snarled through gritted teeth. “You said you wouldn’t and you fucking did.”
When he reached for my hand, I smacked it away.
“Please, angel,” he begged. “I’m sorry I wasn’t there for you when you needed me. But I wasn’t in the best place. I couldn’t have you be with me, seeing all that shit. You didn’t deserve any of that.”
“Just tell me all you wanted from me was sex so I can finally put the nail in the coffin, Andy,” I said with a shaky breath.
His face fell. “That’s not even remotely true, River.”
“It doesn’t matter anyway. After tonight, you’ll go back to your band and life as a rockstar.”
With my back turned, I gathered my camera and was ready to get back to work when an arm wrapped around me from behind.
“Come with me, angel,” Andy’s soft voice brushed along the shell of my ear.
When I felt myself falling into his embrace, almost ready to give in, I pushed away from him. He made me so mad I could throw something at him. My camera or the chair.
Myself.
“You’re insane,” I shook my head.
He linked our hands together so I could face him, the pleading bright in his eyes. “Give me a chance to make up for the last ten years.”
I stared blankly at him, trying to determine if this was a cruel trick.
“You don’t deserve my time, Andy. What we used to have is gone, you can’t fix it or try to bring it back.”
“You’re not even going to let me try?” He asked.
“Why should I? So that you can break my heart again? You don’t realize how much of myself I gave to you; parts I can never take back. You were my first kiss!” I raised my voice.
He blinked. “I didn’t know that.”
I scoffed while shaking my head again. “Of course you didn’t, Andy. Because you never brought it up again. You blamed it on the alcohol that night. What’s your excuse for the night we lost our virginity to each other?”
Before Andy could speak, I waved him off and headed towards the door of the trailer.
“It’s not even worth it anymore,” I muttered with my hand on the handle.
Suddenly in a whirlwind, I felt myself being hoisted up and pressed against the bathroom door. Those dark gray eyes were reading my face, assessing every movement of my gaze as it burned into him. Andy held my hands pinned to my sides and kept me locked into place with his hips. The imprint of his cock was felt against the material of my leggings and I bit the inside of my cheek to keep the moan quiet.
It’d been so long since I felt his touch and I was ready to throw out everything, all of my morals, just to have him again.
“River,” his hand cupped my cheek, the coolness of his rings almost a shock to my warm skin.
I said nothing, simply glaring up at him with a clenched jaw.
“Riv. Come with me.”
AnDy breathed over my lips and I nearly lost it. But I still kept strong, not wanting to be the first one to falter. I worked so hard to build myself back up after he left and there was no way I could allow myself to fall.
Not again.
His thumb lifted my chin, keeping it locked in his grip, and his eyes dropped to my lips; a silent question.
“Fuck you,” I spat.
Something dark flashed in Andy’s eyes as a sinister smirk played on his lips. One that I recognized all too well even though it was never directed at me.
“I don’t ever remember you being such a brat,” he tsked.
I swallowed thickly, unsure how the tension between us went from anger to sexual, but at that moment with him eyeing me hungrily, I didn’t want to question it.
“How could you remember? You’ve been gone for ten years,” I shot back.
Andy pressed his hips harder against me and this time I wasn’t able to hold back the moan. It slipped through my lips with sheer pleasure and I let my head fall against the door behind me.
“I wasn’t drunk the night we slept together, River,” Andy’s hand wrapped around my neck, thumb now on my pulse point. “Or that entire weekend.”
My cheeks flushed when I remembered we had sex multiple times that weekend. We never left his bedroom and thankfully, his parents left the next morning for a friend's wedding so they had no idea I was there.
“All I ever wanted was you,” his voice was low.
I raised my chin at him. “You have a funny way of showing it.”
His tongue darted out to wet his lips, an action I watched intently, and then his voice dropped even lower. Those usually bright eyes were dark and it made the air thick, heated, and full of spice. It made it harder to breathe as his grip tightened around my throat slightly.
“Let me show you.”
Those four words sent both of us back to his bedroom during high school and just like that night, I succumbed to the darkness that was Andy Biersack; consequences be damned.
“Are you still waiting for the right person?” My question was a breath over his lips.
A low noise rumbled in Andy’s chest as his hand gripped behind my neck, yanking my mouth to his.
“She’s right in front of me.”
Every single doubt and fight I had within me vanished the second our lips touched, those familiar fireworks exploding. My hands were all over Andy; his neck, chest, ribs, and back as they sneaked underneath his jacket. While one of his hands continued to grip the back of my neck, the other held tight on my hip so I couldn’t leave.
As if I wanted to.
Our tongues molded together and he swallowed my moan when his teeth bit down on my bottom lip. For a moment, reality struck with clarity and I pushed Andy off of me, wiping my mouth on the back of my hand.
“You need to leave,” I warned, breathless.
His lips were kiss swollen and his jacket was falling off of his shoulders as those stormy eyes never left my lips.
“Do you want that? Because if you do, I’ll leave right now.”
When I remained silent, Andy smirked while grasping the back of my head to crash his lips on mine again, this time with more hunger. It was as if he was a man starved, desperate for his last meal.
“You need to go,” I groaned when his lips began trailing down my chin and neck.
“Go where?” He asked. “Here?”
A gentle bite to the shell of my ear.
“Or here?”
A kiss on the sensitive part of my skin between my neck and shoulder which caused me to shiver in his embrace.
“What about here, angel? Do you want me here?”
The head of his cock brushed along my clit from underneath our clothes and I nearly fell at his feet until Andy’s strong arms lifted me to carry me over to the small twin-size bed on the other end of the trailer.
“It’s like we're back in my childhood bedroom with this small ass bed,” he grumbled.
I fell onto the cheap mattress with a slight giggle but it was hushed with Andy consuming me once more. My entire soul went up in a fiery blaze when he began rutting his hips into me and it was as if we were a couple of teenagers again making out and thinking that was the best part of it. We couldn’t keep our hands off of each other as I helped him out of his jacket and he all but ripped my sweater off, leaving me in an olive green bralette.
His eyes darkened before he left teeth marks between the swell of my breasts, lapping up his saliva and dried sweat from the day and I raked my nails through the buzzed hair.
“I miss your long hair,” I gasped, feeling his tongue slip between the material of my bra and catching my nipple.
“I’ve missed the way you tasted, River,” Andy mused while kissing his way back up to my lips.
This time the kiss was slow, as if we had the rest of our lives together and there was no need to rush anything. It was like he was trying to imprint me into him, never wanting to forget anything again.
I reached for the button on his pants, pulling down the zipper to slip my hand inside, palming his hard cock.
Holy. Shit.
It was a lot thicker than ten years ago.
“Shit, Riv,” he cursed when I squeezed him. “Just like that.”
I did it a few more times while his forehead fell to my chest, panting his warm breath over my skin. I lifted his face with my other hand to kiss him again, the savageness poured out of him.
The room smelled of our desperation as I shimmied out of my leggings while he stepped out of his pants, after unhooking my bra and tossing it over his shoulder. As Andy stood at the end of the bed, I let my eyes rake over every defined muscle of his body; tongue begging for a simple taste of the ink on his skin and the head of his cock that was almost slipping through his briefs; the black briefs doing absolutely nothing to hide his arousal.
Rising to my knees on the bed, I ran my palm over his cock again, his entire body shivering underneath my touch.
"Fuck, angel,” Andy groaned before his teeth grasped at my bottom lip, yanking it away from me.
I hissed in pleasure, the taste of copper lingering on my tongue.
"Did you-." I licked my bottom lip and then tilted my head to the side. "Did you just bite me?"
Andy pushed me back down on the bed so he could take in the sight of me bare for him; those stormy eyes were now clear with only one thing.
Heat.
“I can’t believe I went ten years without this,” he muttered to himself while stepping out of his briefs, his cock finally springing free.
I licked my lips at the sight of it, salivating for a taste of the precum that he smeared over the head. But instead, I felt like being a brat with Andy, not allowing him to think I wasn’t still upset with him.
“It’s your own fucking fault,” I shot back with a sly smirk, resting on my elbows.
My squeals echoed in the trailer when Andy flipped my tiny frame over on the mattress so my ass was exposed to his palm, a hard strike falling onto it. I writhed against the bed when another harsh strike came down on my ass, my mewls of pleasure being drowned out by the pillow.
“You’re such an ass,” I seethed when the spankings stopped.
Andy palmed my reddened cheek while looming over my back, his breath warm on my neck.
“Do you still like it rough, River?” His question was heavy on his tongue.
That weekend we spent together, I divulged what kind of kinks I might have been into due to my own research. Andy let me try things with him while I did the same and needless to say, all these years later he still knew exactly what my body needed to come alive for him.
Instead of answering, I raised my hips from the bed with his name falling from my lips in a whine full of desperation. Andy had barely touched me but the wetness between my legs was warm and sticky.
I needed this release more than oxygen.
"What do you want from me?" His fingers dragged up my slick folds from his position behind me before slipping one inside, the feeling of his rings making me stiffen.
My head was turned to the side so I could gaze up at him over my shoulder. However, he wasn't looking at me. His eyes were trained hard on his finger pumping in and out of my pussy, the sounds of my arousal overpowering the sounds of my panting. Seeing the desperation on his face as he tried to hold himself back made me push my ass closer to Andy.
“Use your words, Riv,” he ordered while flicking his eyes to me for a moment.
I shook my head, words foreign when he slipped another finger inside of me, spreading them wide like a V.
“Did you forget how to speak?”
Andy clicked his tongue against his teeth, ready to pull his fingers out when my begging halted him.
"You. I just want you."
The bed shifted behind me when I noticed Andy disappear only to feel the wetness of his tongue press against my pussy to lick my arousal. The sharpness of his teeth scraped along my clit as he buried his face deeper into the sweet spot between my legs.
“You still taste so good, River,” he mused, pressing gentle kisses on the inside of my thigh.
“Don’t stop,” I all but whined, wanting to feel his tongue again.
Andy ate me out from behind with both hands on my hips, continuing to keep me in place as my body writhed on the bed from the onslaught of his mouth. When his lips wrapped around my clit to suck hard on the sensitive bud, I screamed out his name.
“Andy,” I drowned it out with a moan. “It’s so good. I’m so close.”
With the indication my orgasm was on the brink of collapse, he slipped a finger inside of me again. While his mouth was a rough attack on my clit, his finger was a gentle caress of my inner walls with slow strokes. Sheer ecstasy was slowly building at the base of my spine, warming up all of my senses until I felt like I could combust at any moment. Andy flicked his tongue over my clit and I buried my face into the pillow, the musky scent of my wellness tickling my nose as my body shook out my orgasm. My cries of release sounded like music to Andy’s ears as he hummed in praise, drinking up my arousal as it gushed over his tongue and fingers.
It had been so long since I had an orgasm that wasn’t brought on by my hand or a toy. I lay limp on the bed, breathless, as the after-shocks slowly began to fade along with the hazy bright lights, my soul returning from wherever it retreated to. I barely felt the kisses upon my thigh and then lower back as Andy dragged a finger down my spine.
“Still on birth control?” He asked, lust gone from his voice for a second.
I nodded while glancing over my shoulder and seeing my arousal coating his lips. The sight was so intoxicating that I almost uttered those three words that plagued my existence since I first met him.
“River,” he tapped my back, bringing me out of my thoughts.
“Implant,” I replied.
My head leaned back in pure bliss when Andy dug his nails into my hips as he pressed himself past my wetness, the thickness of his cock filling me. It twitched inside of me, earning a disgustingly desperate groan from me.
It felt nothing like it did ten years ago. It felt better.
Andy left no space between us as he held us in place on the small mattress and I tried to move my hips in his grip. It was so rough, I knew I would have bruises later but frankly, I didn’t care. All I cared about was how good it felt to have him inside of me again.
“So tight, angel. I can’t-.”
His eyes fluttered shut as his lips parted to an 'O' shape when I rocked my hips against him with my swollen clit rubbing against the cool blanket and I shivered at the sensation. Everything from our fight to our kiss sent me in a spiral of pure ecstasy and I felt the coil in my stomach pulling tight again. My previous orgasm was still lingering and it didn’t take long before I felt that familiar tingly feeling in my spine.
“Andy, I’m going to-.”
Still inside of me, he managed to flip me over so now I was staring up at those dark eyes; pupils blown wide with lust. Now, Andy didn’t hold back as he hooked my leg up and around his shoulder so he could thrust in a deeper angle.
“Oh god,” I closed my eyes, the new sensation causing the coil to hurt.
“Eyes on me, River!” He snapped with a low growl and I immediately obeyed. "You're so fucking beautiful, angel. I’m sorry I left you. I’m sorry it’s been ten years.”
I didn’t want to hear his apology. I only wanted to have that coil spring free with my second orgasm. I attacked his lips with such force Andy had to hold himself up with one hand on the headboard, the other slipping between the place where our bodies met to play with my clit; exactly how I liked. Our tongues explored each other's mouths in a kiss so vicious it made my head spin.  Andy’s pace was erratic and merciless but it didn’t stop me from begging.
"More," I mumbled into his lips.
That's all he needed before he maneuvered us so he sat in the middle of the bed with me in his lap and he held me closer to his chest as his hips snapped up into me in violent strokes, the head of his cock hitting that perfect spot. I yelled out my pleasure, exposing my neck to Andy who immediately attacked it with his teeth leaving bite marks all along the skin sticky with sweat.
My body hummed in a prayer-like awaking, the flames and heat burning high in my belly as my organs crested higher; so fucking high I was afraid I would combust into nothing but matter in the air. His name fell from my lips in devotion, a woman praying to her God, and my toes curled as the orgasm ripped through me with so much force I screamed out in pure nirvana.
“I love you, River,” Andy professed with a strangled breath as he spilled himself inside of me, cock throbbing with his release.
“What did you say?” I questioned, almost unsure if I had heard him correctly.
He cupped my cheek, eyes softening. “I love you.”
My bottom lip trembled at those three words; the words I wanted to hear for years.
“I’m sorry it took me so long to say it,” Andy brushed away my hair from my face. “But it’s true. I’m at a better place where now admitting it out loud doesn't scare me.”
We stayed like that, bodies tangled together in the silence for a few long moments until he laid us on the bed. I very quickly detached myself from him so I could put some space between us.
Although he admitted how he felt, I wasn't ready to yet. I knew that I loved him ever since high school, but it was my turn to be afraid of what would happen if I admitted it out loud.
Instead, I remained silent while lying on my stomach on the bed, resting my chin on my hand to gaze down at his tattoos again. One of them immediately caught my attention and I smiled at it, a fond memory cresting to the surface.
“I remember being with you when you got this,” I whispered while trailing a finger over the black and yellow Batman logo on his arm.
“I still have the comics you got me for my birthday,” he said while propping his arm behind his head.
My heart skipped at that because it meant that he was thinking of me during our time away.
“But you couldn’t come to see me,” I muttered under my breath as I turned from him.
Andy reached for me to pull my back to his chest and lock me into place with a leg over my hips. His left hand grazed up and down my arm, sending shivers all over my skin, and I let out a soft breath.
“Will you stay with me, River?”
I sat on his question for a few long beats, letting it sink in if it was something I truly wanted. My life in Hollywood wasn’t set in place, I’d always been on the move. But the thought of uprooting everything to be with Andy scared the shit out of me. How could I trust that he won’t leave me again?
Then why did you sleep with him? You plan on leaving after this, so you’re no better than him.
“Why now?” I sat up to gaze down at him, his arm falling away from me. “How come now you want to make things work between us?”
He hesitated with inner turmoil eating away inside as he slowly sat up and ran a hand over his short hair.
“I was married for six years. The divorce was finalized last year.”
My heart sank into the depths of my stomach; no farther. It fell straight to Tartarus.
“We were together for a total of eight years but the longer our relationship went on I began to realize it wasn’t what I wanted. Who I wanted,” Andy explained.
There was absolutely no reason for me to be upset with him because while he was married, I had been casually dating. None of them were ever serious enough to last more than a few months. But it still caused an ache in my heart.
“Then why did you stay with her for as long as you did?” I asked.
Andy has a soft smile. “I loved her, in a different way than I love you. But sometimes that kind of love isn’t enough. Not when someone else held my heart first.”
Tears burned in my eyes and I blew out a shaky breath. “If that were true, Andy, then you would have come to me first. You wouldn’t have gotten married.”
Removing myself from his grasp, I began slipping on my discarded pieces of clothing while he continued to sit in bed, naked.
“I’m not saying I’m perfect, River. But I’ve grown a lot in the last few years. The Andy you used to know wouldn’t have been good for you.”
“And now?” I asked with my hands on my hips.
The smile that played on his lips grew wider. “Now, I would love to have you come on the road with me. We leave in a few days for our North America leg then jump overseas for a few weeks. Plenty of time to make up for old times and prove I’ve changed.”
I laughed. “You want me to stop what I’m doing here to come follow you? Give up potential jobs? Just to be your roadie?”
Andy’s jaw twitched but with a deep breath, he gathered himself from the bed and stepped back into his briefs and pants.
“You can be our photographer. I’ll talk it over with our management team, that way you can be getting paid.”
I pursed my lips in consideration because his offer was a pretty good one. But was it worth spending all that time together?
You love and miss him.
I sighed at the voice in my head, knowing it was true. Seeing him again brought up all the old feelings I spent years burying, trying to forget, and it was clear that Andy still felt the same.
“You remember all the plans we made? When we were hoping for better days? You wanted to become a photographer and I wanted to sing in a band. We have that now. What’s stopping you from saying yes?” He took a small step towards me.
“The promise you betrayed,” I said flatly.
Andy’s shoulders fell. “You don’t have to forgive me for leaving you, Riv. But I swear to you that if you come with me, I will spend every day from here on out proving to you that you’re all I want.”
When I didn’t say anything, he wrapped his arms around me and oh so gently, laid a kiss on my lips.
“I love you, River Murray,” he professed. “We can start over; fresh. But only if this is something you want. If not, then we can both leave with some closure and go our separate ways.”
I couldn’t explain the way my heart physically ached with the thought of leaving tonight and forgetting about Andy. Even with all the anger and hurt, I couldn't imagine acting like tonight didn’t happen. Maybe there was a small possibility that we could work through our issues, gain that trust back, and finally find what we were desperate to have.
But the betrayal weighed heavy in my soul along with the fear of Andy doing it again, only this time while I was with him and leaving me stranded.
“River, if you’re with Andy, can you have him come to set? We’re ready to start again.”
I jumped at the sudden loud crackle of the radio, Vincent’s voice breaking through the clouds of confusion.
With a sigh, Andy slipped back into his shoes and jacket.
“Let’s get back to work, yeah? We can talk more about this on the next break,” he said.
I swallowed the waver in my voice as it broke. “I’m actually going to sit here for a bit since I’m not needed right now.”
Andy’s thumb brushed along the soft skin of my cheek. “I’ll be back as soon as I can, angel.”
He left me with a kiss on the cheek and for the first time since reuniting with Andy, I fell to the ground with sobs wracking my body. Everything I worked hard to overcome was shattered by those three words and his offer. It terrified me to completely allow him in again but I also didn’t want to let him go.
The decision was made in an instant as I rose from the floor, hastily wiping away the tears, and gathered my things together. I knew what I chose would have repercussions, some I may never recover from, but as the door of the trailer slammed behind me, it would be alright. Because my heart said it would be.
