dissecting a cadaver is too much like sitting at a dinner table. the rat tooth forceps like a fork. the scalpel a knife. my group mates and I crowd around the table, each tearing chunks of fascia out and throwing it onto the pile where a sheet covers the lower half of the body. the mound grows, and it feels like a waste.
