Kicking things off and I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone for your encouragement and support on my last snippet. I was not in a great headspace, but after having a friend read over what I was struggling with (seriously thank you so much @callmenewbie 💙💙💙), I’m feeling a lot better about it and my fic.

Inspiration struck me this morning while out on my run and I was able to get started on chapter 3 of Rival Firefighters 🚒 . So here’s a little taste of what my brain conjured up …

As the water flows down his body, a satisfied groan falls from his mouth.

“I sure hope that groan wasn’t self pleasure related, because I’m not sure we could come back from that.”

Buck turns his face out from under the spray and flashes Chim a shit eating grin as he gets into the stall next to Buck’s. Chim turns his shower on and Buck’s water pressure drops slightly as the pipes make a small groan at the added water demand.

“Oh, I’m saving all my self pleasure for when I get home and I don’t have to keep quiet.”

Chim huffs out a laugh. “Don’t you live with like five roommates?”

“Yeah, but it’s almost 9am,” Buck grabs the soap and begins scrubbing himself, “and by the time I get home they’ll have all gone to work. So I’ll have the place to myself.” He wiggles his eyebrows playfully at Chim.

“Not going to try and hit a breakfast bar or something for someone to take home?”

Buck starts rinsing himself off. “Nah, I’ve got some excellent spank material I want to test drive.” His hand brushes over his cock and he feels anticipation build in his blood. He quickly rinses off and moves his hand away, not wanting to work himself up in a way that would make it obvious to everyone else that Buck is feeling horny.

Without skipping a beat, Chim replies, “Diaz work you up that much?”

Shutting off the water and stepping out of the stall, towel wrapped tightly around his waist, Buck shoots Chim a puzzled look. Had he seen Diaz shove him up against the engine and Buck practically melt into a puddle?

“Oh, I’ve definitely got some thoughts.” Buck says as he slips his underwear on. And he’s going to let those thoughts play out as soon as he’s home. He doesn’t have plans, so he’s got the whole day to let his imagination run wild. He might go out later and find someone to help him live out some of them if he’s feeling the extra uh, need. But for now, he’s content with his right hand and a suction cup dildo thank you very much.

History is made: Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala chosen as Director-General

WTO members made history today (15 February) when the General Council agreed by consensus to select Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala of Nigeria as the organization’s seventh Director-General.

When she takes office on 1 March, Dr Okonjo-Iweala will become the first woman and the first African to be chosen as Director-General. Her term, renewable, will expire on 31 August 2025.

“This is a very significant moment for the WTO. On behalf of the General Council, I extend our warmest congratulations to Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala on her appointment as the WTO's next Director-General and formally welcome her to this General Council meeting,” said General Council Chair David Walker of New Zealand who, together with co-facilitators Amb. Dacio Castillo (Honduras) and Amb. Harald Aspelund (Iceland) led the nine-month DG selection process.

“Dr Ngozi, on behalf of all members I wish to sincerely thank you for your graciousness in these exceptional months, and for your patience. We look forward to collaborating closely with you, Dr Ngozi, and I am certain that all members will work with you constructively during your tenure as Director-General to shape the future of this organization,” he added.

Dr Okonjo-Iweala said a key priority for her would be to work with members to quickly address the economic and health consequences brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I am honoured to have been selected by WTO members as WTO Director-General,” said Dr Okonjo-Iweala. “A strong WTO is vital if we are to recover fully and rapidly from the devastation wrought by the COVID-19 pandemic. I look forward to working with members to shape and implement the policy responses we need to get the global economy going again. The General Council agreed on 31 July that there would be three stages of consultations held over a two-month period commencing 7 September. During these confidential consultations, the field of candidates was narrowed from eight to five and then two. On 28 October, General Council Chair David Walker of New Zealand had informed members that based on consultations with all delegations Dr Okonjo-Iweala was best poised to attain consensus of the 164 WTO members and that she had the deepest and the broadest support among the membership. At that meeting, the United States was the only WTO member which said it could not join the consensus.

The consultation process undertaken by the chair and facilitators was established through guidelines agreed by all WTO members in a 2002 General Council decision. These guidelines spelled out the key criteria in determining the candidate best positioned to gain consensus is the “breadth of support” each candidate receives from the members. During the DG selection processes of 2005 and 2013, breadth of support was defined as “the distribution of preferences across geographic regions and among the categories of members generally recognized in WTO provisions: that is (Least developed countries), developing countries and developed countries”. This same process, agreed by all members in the General Council in 2020, was strictly followed by Chair Walker and his colleagues throughout the 2020-21 DG selection process.

The process for selecting a new Director-General was triggered on 14 May when former Director-General Mr Roberto Azevêdo informed WTO members he would be stepping down from his post one year before the expiry of his mandate. He subsequently left office on 31 August.

Megatron in his prime (when he was still leader of the Decepticons) was DEFINITELY guilty of trying to capture and utilize fairy magic on more than one occasion. Only problem with that is that the constant warfare and battles was enough to have even the bravest fae retreating to the deepest corners of their home woods until shit simmered down, so it was damn near impossible for anyone to get their hands on fairy magic, let alone enough to conduct some serious warfare.

Even post-war, most fairies avoid Megatron like the plague. Even the ones who don't know exactly what he did and is capable of have heard stories, and they give him a noticeably wide berth. When other visitors of the palace of Nyon enter the gardens there's usually a titter of jingling bells, maybe even a prank or two. But with Megatron there's just this eerie silence. He puts on a stoic face, acts like the complete isolation doesn't bother him. Why would it? He has no interest in kowtowing to the whims of the temperamental fae.

But it still stings a little when he sees the pixies bullying Rodimus, or perching on Drift, or tugging at Minimus's hair and clothes, only for them to scatter the moment his presence is registered. He knows he has no right to feel bad, not after the things he's done, but it's deeply isolating.

Given how close knit kobolds tend to be I do have a question. In your experience how are disagreements between members of a Warren usually handled? I can't imagine it turns violent that often, but I'm wondering if there's a more standard procedure or something along those lines.

Well, it really depends! Kobolds have incredibly varied and unique behaviors when it comes to just about anything, but I'll list off as much as I can!

Voting by majority does happen, but an alternative many kobolds use is to start a Yap Off where each side yaps at the other as hard and as frequently as they can. Even the most brave kobolds will typically lower their ears and tuck their tail once they realize they're beat, so cheaters or 'bolds who deny the outcome are pretty rare

Contests often are used when testing the ruling authority on who's advice to follow, orders to take, plans to use, and so on! Sometimes these contests will become full blown events that the entire warren attends, with contests where the contesting kobolds have to navigate traps and obstacles being especially popular. I believe humans have a similar concept called "Wipeout"? 🔴🔴🔴🤔

When it's hard to tell who wins, or if both sides agree to just skip the hassle, many kobolds will result to a test of luck to see who comes out on top. Fair is fair when you flip a clink off your claw, though it's not uncommon for these to be rigged to get a desired outcome. Rigging doesn't happen too much amongst kobolds themselves since each side is typically already on the lookout, but few can resist trying to pull a fast one on visitors that don't know any better (I have a whole collection of rigged dice just in case! You're welcome to check them out if you need them 🎲😉🎲)

They have such a negative connotation for it in common tongue, but amongst kobolds, bribing is just another form of trade! The idea of paying someone to do what you want really isn't that foreign is it? Kobolds in warrens also don't suffer from billionaires or anything similar, so while a kobold might come across a stash that lets them live like royalty for a day or two, there really isn't any class difference between the richest and the poorest amongst them that would make this unfair.

The last major one I'll cover is one you might have already guessed! Sometimes the best way of coming to agreement is to get your dragon involved. Dragons are generally much wiser, older, and certainly more powerful than your average kobold, on top of being absolutely revered and worshiped, so really whatever they say goes, and their judgement on a disagreement goes a long way to restore peace to the warren

Those are the major ones that you're most likely to encounter I'd say with lots of subgroups and variations you'll find between them, but that's by no means a comprehensive list!!! Like always, the best information about the kobolds around you comes from the kobolds around you, so don't be too quick to hold my accounts as perfect if you're in with a different crowd!

this is the way ive heard the story told:

years ago, the one of the watchmen guarding the building where mao's body is on display noticed something strange. He saw that the coffin had been disturbed. But he didn't say anything for fear of being accused of having done it himself. The next morning, though, visitors complained that the body looked strange. That it looked like it was melting. Upon further inspection, it appeared that they were right. The body was melting! It was quickly removed for further investigation and was secretly replaced with a wax figurine. Once the body was thoroughly studied it appeared that the real body had been replaced with a chocolate replica, similar to the kind that the chocolate guy on tiktok makes. So the story goes, some of the staff ate part of his body, and soon after developed auditory and visual hallucinations. It was never clear if they did find the body again. For all we know, they're still protecting a wax figurine made in the likeness of mao's dead body. Who knows if they'll ever tell anyone?

26/05/2024. Oh my goodness, I am inside my own four walls, waking in my own bed and relaxing in my own chair and it is just wonderful! Okay, so I only got home on Wednesday evening and have to visit the hospitals in Paris and Troyes over the next few months but who gives a fig, I will say it once again, I AM HOME 😁.

The beautiful card, pictured, was made for me by a friend in the UK, she had hoped it would arrive before I went into hospital, however it was a wonderful surprise to receive it when I returned.

My garden, which I had been longing to see, is still waiting for the gardener to arrive with his mower. He now assures me it will be Monday or Tuesday, it really needs to be otherwise I may need a goat to clear “the pasture”.

The irises are all dead now, I did a little dead heading yesterday. There was a weed (it wasn’t there before I left) which, if left, could have grown into a tree. However the root system was not deep and I removed that very easily. I noticed that one of the hellebores was flowering and am praying that when the gardener does arrive that he doesn’t mow over the top of it too. The œillets (pinks/carnations) are starting to flower and I really would like to try and reclaim my borders which are full of weeds and grass. The cherry tree has the most cherries on that I have ever seen, my neighbour tells me they are not ripe yet, I think by the time they are the birds will have eaten the majority. Noticed a blackbird in the tree gorging itself on them. I need to take things slowly and so I will need to, eventually, do a little bit at a time.

My peonies have not flowered again this year (well they are only young). On Thursday I took a telephone call which was from one of the florists in town. She said she had a delivery for me 🤔 I thought, who would be sending me flowers? The bouquet arrived, six beautiful pinky/white peonies oh my goodness who had sent them? I read the card that was with them and promptly burst into tears. The bouquet was from “The Trainee Solicitor” and “The Reconnect Navigator”. What a wonderful surprise 🥲.

Anie had been shopping for me on Wednesday and kindly brought the shopping down around 8pm. She also brought me a bunch of œillet from her garden. She hugged me (we both had masks on so I guess that was alright). Monique had volunteered her help, I just have to ask. Lots of people want to come and see me but until I get a programme of where I am and when, it’s a little difficult to organise. Well it is early days too I suppose.

The dietician had a laminated sheet on the back of the door in my room, it showed things that I was allowed to eat, on there were Mars bar, Twix and Kitkat. I have dreamt of Mars bars and Kitkats, still not had one but think I may treat myself next week.

Yesterday was the BBQ for the association, of which my knitting group is part. I received a photo and was totally surprised to see that numbers have dwindled so much that everyone attending seemed to be just around one table. it looked as if there were only 14 people in total. it really is quite sad as before Covid the groups seemed to have such a large number of members.

It was a full five days work last week for “The Trainee Solicitor” and “The Reconnect Navigator” so this long weekend (Bank Holiday Monday) is going to be a nice break again. There were plans afoot to sort out the garden hedge etc but not sure if that got started yesterday although grass seed (?) had been purchased so it may have found it’s way from the box to the ground by now 😉. “The Reconnect Navigator” had been and had her nails “done” and very nice they looked too.

“The Photographer” has been to London for a few days. He went to meet up with a guy he had worked with. He had a good time but didn’t appear to do as much as had been mooted. He visited his Aunt and Uncle too which was another nice visitor for them. He has got a few irons in the fire with his photography so that is interesting. His children are away on holiday with their Mum and Grandad who is visiting from Vancouver!

“The Jetsetter” back from her adventures in Vancouver, has been back at work. It won’t be for much longer though as another holiday is beckoning.

Onto the music slot this week, I am reminiscing over holidays long gone but memories are wonderful things. Numerous visits to Sousse in Tunisia, nights spent in “La Grotte” disco, taking over the dance floor to tracks like “I Surrender” by Rainbow, released in 1981 or the song I loved so much from 1976, “If You Leave Me Now” by Chicago.

It’s Fetes des Meres here today (as it is in a number of countries) so I am happy with my Mother’s Day present of the beautiful peonies. Well they were really to wish me well on the road to recovery but have been given a dual purpose now.

👀 Cadmus number one priority is the MC comfort. Even if he won't be able to be with the MC in this life, he is content just being by their side.

Actually the reasons why the ministers, turn a blind eye to this is because of the Montholon family was the founding fathers, and the sole ruler of Vathilia. And also Trysten/Trista's father is lustful but he is an SSS rank Phasron. Who would dare to call him out on his behavior.

And trysten/Trista at this point in time doesn't have a problem with this. In the original timeline the MC was given as a "gift" to the emperor. The Emperor is deeply infatuated with the MC. This infatuation actually stems from his desire for Lady Anaya years ago, but alas the heart wants what it wants.

In the original timeline, the original host did marry Trysten/Trista. Every night the original host was forced into the emperors chambers to "serve" him until he was fully sated. And because of that F!MC was impregnated by the emperor. Trysten/Trista used that as the perfect excuse to do away with the MC. So for that question Trysten/Trista feels nothing towards their father's feelings of lust towards the MC.

Trysten/Trista grew up, watching their father punish his concubines because they didn't please him in bed, the previous night. In trysten/Trista's mind a spouse only use is to reproduce/vent.

In fact, as I said in an earlier ask, trysten/Trista is a frequent visitor of their father's backyard. And by that I mean, the emperor shares his women/men with his heir. Male Trysten actually impregnated one of them but that is a story for another day.

As for snippets. 🤔. I don't want to say much on this topic because it will be covered in chapter 2 - 3.

SPOILERS UP AHEAD

The emperor sat high on his throne, looking down smugly at his ministers kneeling infront of him. His eyes, couldn't help locking onto a certain figure in the corner of the room. The Emperor held back years ago, because this person belonged to his heir, but now he could make his apparent attraction known to others.

He has looked for people that looked just like the mc to sate his desire, but it just wasn't the same. The Emperor wanted to feel the Mc's body convulsed beneath his own, in pleasure. He wanted to kiss those sweet plump lips and make them his person. His teeth sunk into his lips. His cock felt as if, it would burst out from the confinement of his narrow waist trousers.

The emperors fingers tightened around his wine glass. His fevered glances didn't go unnoticed by a certain vermillion eye man, that sat at the far end of the bar. Carmine sparks of light flickered on the man's fingertips. A sharp laugh escaped the man's lips. To think, his spouse would be coveted by others.

"Your cover will be blown, if you use your own hand."

The man craned his neck, to look at his drinking buddy. "Then my dear [REDACTED], what do you propose I should do? Can you truly remain calm when our Bonded, is being lusted after? I can even smell the acidic stench of his arousal." The vermillion eyed man, spat in repugnance.

A pair of light green eyes darkened at those words.

Chains of Heart ep 7

So yesterday really was a bad day to publish my eps 4, 5, and 6 posts 😄 I guess something else seemed to make tumblr collectively lose their sh*t...can't think what now 🤔 Anyway, the links are at the bottom of this post in case you're interested and missed them.

But on to ep 7!

Of course the dodgy doctor, who knows Lue is Din, is wearing green to come and rescue him. I'm curious to know whether his tattoos are important since the camera fixed on them for a moment or if they just add to his 'look'.

OMG I just noticed in the ep 6 recap that the grey sleeveless top Ken was wearing when he rejected Lue in ep 6 has a small figure in black (possibly a fighting figure?) over his heart - maybe indicating that he will eventually open up to the MiB (i.e. Lue). Incidentally, this is also the shirt Ken puts on when his friends show up after he's woken up in bed next to a naked Lue in ep 7.

Anyway... It's also interesting that Hin is looking up information about Lue on a green tablet, whilst Payu wears a green tie. I wonder if all the beige comes from the original Lue's wardrobe. The beige sofas are a nice complement here then. BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, WHY DOES NO ONE ELSE TALK ABOUT LUE'S CHILD?!

Ken is emphatic that the MiB is Din and he's still alive...and his passion seems to be supported by the burgundy in his clothes, the red vase he's stood behind, and the red light in the bedroom. But it could also indicate that he'll eventually come around to Din being Lue once the truth comes out. The friend group is once again colour co-ordinating with the blues/greens/reds and again I wonder if these colours will correlate to who knows that Din = Lue in the end...

...these three especially below - three doctors, I think. We now know the one on the left (in the left photo) is potentially a psychiatrist, the one on the right has visions of the future (!), but the one in the middle stumps me still. He returns with Hin, Payu, and Boon later and it's incheresting that Hin/Sai/Ken's extended friend group seems to be losing the green and gaining the burgundy (whilst keeping a stable base of blue) 🤔

Ken rushes off to meet Deedee (still suspicious if you ask me, even in his blue t-shirt) and I love that Lue is wearing Ken's blue whilst Ken is for the first time in Lue's burgundy. Also note the blue curtains on the red wall - it's not going to take much for Lue to be shut out of Ken's world...and we see that very shortly after as Ken is shut away inside the blue cab.

Ingpha again wears the blue waistcoat and green shirt combo...this time he's livid about the MiB trying to kill him and wants him dead. (He also wore it when paying his respects to Din's family when the body was found and when he met Lue for the first time. I currently can't see a red thread connecting these (pardon the pun) since when he goes to tell Din's parents that Din is most likely alive he's in the red waistcoat again. Maybe he only has 4 different outfits that he rotates through 😄).

Ah the fabulous green and red dramatic lighting for the street fight.

I loved that, underneath his blue suit, Lue had a green scarf that gradually got revealed over the course of his scenes and finally got removed in Ken's living room - his hidden old-self cannot stay hidden once he loses control. Also that he was put down onto a green seat...and the leather sofas in Ken's apartment are green.

And more dramatic use of the red and green lighting...this time the red on Lue as he sleeps, reminding Ken of memories of Din, then the green in the hallway as Ken passes the huge photo of Din, then the red in the bedroom as Ken collapses under the weight of his grief.

But then this...the red light connecting Ken and Lue in the morning when they almost kiss. Delightful!

Din's mum wears more green as she comes to the realisation that Din may not be dead...although I don't think the visitor to Din's room this time round was Lue. I think it was probably Nok trying to find the video camera. But it made Din's mum question and that's all that matters.

Then Lue is back to his beige for his meeting with Ae - hiding all his colours - and Ae is once again in blue. Maybe this is her mask...or maybe she only has a certain number of outfits like her brother (despite their wealth!).

But this shot in particular is delicious. I love the line separating them, how it's not fully there (indicating how they're coming to some agreement about the illegal trade but for Lue it's only to uncover their shady business), and how they eventually drive away in different directions and in opposite coloured cars. Magnifique!

Perfect Ending to a solid, plugged-in day. The cards were right on target & so much so, I couldn't have done better if I had picked them myself. It's another damn that's broken with the crossing of someone I was close to, & this started when Frank passed. Prior to that, I could only see "these" in the dark. They sure are interesting, & they sure aren't allowed in my bedroom anymore (freaked me the fk out!), so I guess this is just the official new location (outside between myself & the sun, the same as where Frank was). I have a Ouija board that I had bought for my Mom (when she was still in this realm), & I've used it, but it freaks me out too much, & I prefer sticking with Tarot for help with interpretation. It's worked good for me & has been a sort of outta the box way I use them to work with the way I plug into & experience things vs. as less connected "talk at you" way they are traditionally used. Best psychic suggestion ever & I have Flash Silvermoon to thank for that (as well as some mind-blowing readings!). Wow, that's a name I haven't thought about for a very long time. Hmmm... 21/04/24. Another day in Paris. It was an early start, I was out of bed at 5:30am and by the time we got back in the evening it was after 7pm. Boy was I tired! However, I am going to Paris for the next part of the CAR-T cell therapy on Thursday April 25. I should be staying in the hospital in Paris for 3-4 weeks. I am just praying that the food is good.

Now it’s time to do my tax return as it has to be completed by May 23 and I don’t want to send an email saying I am in hospital again! I have all of the information it is just a case of finding where to put it on the forms.

Had a catch up chat with Rosie who lives In Poitou-Charentes. Anie messaged to see if she could visit, she brought me a delightful bunch of muguet. While I was checking on a crumble I was cooking, there was a knock on the door. I opened the front door to find a huge bunch of muguet tucked into the door handle and Marlene was disappearing down the drive. I dashed out to speak to her and her husband before they left. I was so happy to receive these lovely gifts.

I had to have a platelet transfusion in Troyes on Monday and before they would let me leave the hospital in Paris on Tuesday I had to have another platelet transfusion. Can you believe I was booked in for another in Troyes on Friday afternoon. Well I got to the hospital on time, then after a blood test I was told I couldn’t have the transfusion on Friday I have to return on Monday morning. I was so angry but as I have found no amount of anger changes the stance of these people. Coming back in the taxi, I had to sit in the back, by the time we got home I was feeling travel sick! So Monday at 8:45am it is, what’s the betting that it will be more than one transfusion and I will be there all day 😩. I think I will need my case packing this afternoon!

Monique came to visit, she brought me lilac from her trees and three delicious cakes, bought at the most expensive cake shop in town! I cannot believe how well we get along and how we can sit and talk for hours when Monique only speaks French and German 🤔. She stayed for about 3 hours by which time we had put the world to rights.

I spoke to a cousin in London, who is terrified that WW3 is about to break out. To be honest if it does there is not much you or I can do about it and if someone pushes the button we may not even have time to worry. Just one thing I would like to know, in case this should happen, was Andrew Hillier from France 24, born in the North East of England? 😂

Anie called to see me again, bearing more gifts. This time it was pain d’épicés and a jar of homemade soup. The pain d’épicés contained walnuts too, it was absolutely delicious.

I needed some pj’s to wear in the hospital so I popped to Gemo in town and got a couple of pairs of pj bottoms and four t shirt tops as I need tops with short sleeves. I was given the sheet advising what I can eat on the protected feeding plan. Now I will be on this diet while I am in hospital but was told there is a washing machine available to wash my nightclothes. As I will be expected to remain in my room, being so far from home that I won’t have any visitors, I wonder how my pj’s will manage to get washed? Answers on a postcard please 😂😂.

The doctor from Paris phoned me just to say he had all the scan results and providing I don’t have Covid, he will see me on Thursday. Oh gosh it’s exciting and terrifying at the same time! I am hoping that I will be able to do my blogs but as some of the risk factors are neurological and I may lose the ability to write (temporarily) I will have to wait and see.

I have had two deliveries this week, the first was four books from another cousin in the UK and the second was a card and two magazines from a friend in the UK. I finally managed to package up, again, the gift I sent her last year which was refused by UK customs and returned to me.

“The Trainee Solicitor” has been stressed again this week! Having to keep one eye on training the new recruit and the other on dealing with his cases I guess he is looking a bit like Marty Feldman! Anyway it’s the weekend and a time to clear your head ready for the forthcoming week.

“The Reconnect Navigator” is going to be doing a new role at work until such time as a replacement is found. All experience and I think it will be rather interesting too. Her new Dr Marten boots have rubbed her feet and made them very sore. She went out on Friday evening with friends, I do hope she didn’t have to go barefoot!

“The Photographer” has his children this weekend. On Friday evening he had prepared a cottage pie with red wine jus and cheesy mash. Apparently the children really enjoyed it and my grandson had second helpings! On Saturday they met up with “The Trainee Solicitor” and “The Reconnect Navigator” for lunch, so I imagine that was a great experience too, as both children adore them! I was sent photos on Friday evening, of both children playing with large cardboard boxes. I love imaginary play where the box can be your home, a car, boat or plane it’s just wonderful to see children playing this way. Of course I love to see them as they are growing up so quickly, apparently my grandson can count to ten in French.

“The Jetsetter”, has been continuing with the day job until she goes away again. Not long now girl, I will be thinking of you on the day you fly but don’t you be thinking of me 😂.

The music this week starts with a song from a married couple. It was released in 1988, it’s Teardrops by Womack and Womack.

The second song is from 1997 (that was a good year😉) it’s by Savage Garden and it’s “To The Moon And Back”.

On my travels I have noticed that lilac, laburnum and the candles on the horse chestnut trees are all in evidence. I think they are probably a few weeks early. My cherry tree has lots of cherries starting to appear. Let’s hope that no heavy frost comes and kills them off.

So I will do my best to get a blog out to you next week. I am staying in the Saint-Antoine hospital in Paris. The nurse who was doing the transfusion said “ oh you are going to be staying on the floor”, I replied “Well I am hoping for a bed actually” to which we both had a laugh. The hospital is older than the one in Troyes, the room is probably going to be smaller and the “salle de douche”, in the room I was in on the day unit, was tiny, I could have taken a shower while sitting on the toilet! Maybe that’s how my pj’s will get washed 🤔.
